The Girls series finale didn't quite nicely tie things up into a tidy little bow for Hannah Horvath (Lena Dunham). The finale, titled "Latching," featured Hannah living upstate,...Part one of the Real Housewives Of Atlanta began with a preclude of the explosive drama at the end … which left me feeling like ‘yada, yada, yada… ‘ about everything else and wishing I could fast forward through the “Many Wigs Of Phaedra Parks” to just get to the crying, sobbing, hysterical meltdowns. In the meantime everybody is “sitting on ready” as they bicker about African princes, Apollo and Kenya Moore, and My Mansion’s better than your mansion…
Haven’t we already talked about all of this? Does time stand still in RHOA land?
Anyway Andy Cohen stuffed our Easter Baskets with golden eggs from rich Africans, construction refuge from Moore Manor and Chateau Sheree, and the easter grass was shredded legal documents. And just to be clear Porsha Williams reunion look is channeling Halle Berry, not Kandi Burruss circa season 2.

Things begin with boobs, and botox, and vaginas… oh my! Apparently there’s been lots of plastic surgery updates, and Andy – intrepid investigative Housewives chronologist that he is – wanted to get to the silicone bottom of it all! He was ick-ily persistent as he grilled the women about their boob jobs, and especially shady about insisting that Kenya has one. Like he could convince Kenya to admit that middle-aged women do not spontaneously gain cup-size and fullness. Maybe Kenya is chanting “I must! I must! I must increase my bust! Are you there God, it’s me Kenya… ” in the closet of Moore Manor?
Phaedra begrudgingly admits she’s had a lift. And Kandi also had one. Porsha got a reverse nose job to make her nose larger, but straighter, and none of the women do botox. Porsha would because she likes the “resting bitch face” results, but it screwed with her day job so she couldn’t pronounce things on DishNation.
Now for the most illuminating thing I learned last night: there are prosthetic camel toes on Amazon! Phaedra was not lying about this, I did my research and yes… it’s a very real thing. They come with attached panties to keep everything straight. Coochie control, y’all! Please do not let these become a new product a Housewife sells on the Bravo Home Shopping Network, but please let Amy Phillips do a spoof of a HW selling them on WWHL.
In other vaginal topics, I’m pretty sure Cynthia Bailey only spoke one time last night and it was to confirm that Peter has not test driven her post-rejuvenated vagina, but he came close in Hawaii. Cause they’re best-friends-with-benefits! Can’t they just get the divorce taken care of first?!
Then it was time to switch to something decidedly less interesting – Moore Manor Vs. Chateau Sheree.
Kenya is adamant that Sheree Whitfield still doesn’t live at Chateau Sheree. Since they are neighbors, the neighborly thing to do is stalk the house and drive by regularly to see if the lights are off – for safety, y’all! This escalates into the argument of “Your Mansion Or Mine…” and really? Does it matter whose basement is finished? Does it matter whose refrigerator has trim? Did Sheree use fake marble? Did Kenya really make her contractors use an outhouse? She does live on the set of Deliverance, so it’s possible. Neither lady even seems to care, until Sheree mentions Rich Africans paying for the Manor.
Sheree is impervious to being accused of not paying her bills; She By SheBroke has been there, done that and flippantly compares herself to Donald Trump because she only pays contractors who SHOULD be paid. As for Kenya’s financials, apparently we should ask a Rich African. We’ve downgraded from “African Prince” to “Rich African” but yes, there are still international men of mystery financing the collective wealth of RHOA. Seriously – where are all these Rich Africans? Cause I’d also like a new car. And a new house. And a boob lift.
Legend has it the down payment for Moore Manor was made by one of these invisible Rich Africans, and Porsha claims Kenya also tried to scam him by pretending her car was broken down, needed money for a new one then planned to use that money to fix up the Manor. Porsha knows this because she has “the African connection” and is a self-proclaimed Nubian Queen. Which explains why she wore a bedazzled Coming To America caftan to the reunion?
Kenya insists it’s not true – we should believe her because everything she says is fact. If she believes this then it is a fact that Kenya is not living in reality.
Neither is Phaedra – at least they have that in common! That and Apollo! Who did them both dirty then absconded to prison. For about 15 seconds Kenya and Phaedra got along for the common good of children in Flint, MI – a cause Kenya was happy to unify for since she is very charitable.
While the ladies support Phaedra’s charities, Kandi thinks everything else “Dr. Martin Luther Phaedra” does is complete BS. She’s all Southern Belle and prayer cloths on camera, then a “freak hoe” with Frick in real-time. Phaedra bristles that she and Kenya don’t “run in the same circles” so there’s no way she would know. Andy interjects that they’re sitting in a semi-circle together right now, and RHOA is a circle they both run in. Albeit a circle no one wants to be on the inside of while the pack of vipers flicks their tongue and tail, and bare their fangs.
If you lay down with vipers, you wake up stung, Ms. Parks! So get off your highfalutin pedestal and start arguing and caterwauling in public! Kenya is correct that Phaedra is super invested in maintaining her glossy public image of kumbaya-attorney when it’s convenient, then yelling “TITTIES” and prancing in thongs when it’s convenient. All her ‘Jesus has the wheel’ nonsense is pulled out of her Birkin on as-needed-basis as well. Basically, Phaedra lacks consistency and follow-thru, and she’s more elusive than a Rich African.
Clearly Phaedra only pretended to move on with Kenya, baby-stepping to summer camp, then strutting in heels back to Atlanta and putting Kenya back on ice. Enter the divorce party fiasco of 2016. Ignoring the fact that Kenya threw a haphazard party for two women who weren’t yet divorced, Phaedra’s anger is because she saw it as another slap in the face from Kenya about her marriage. Kenya argues that she and Phaedra actually fell out over Donkey Booty business, but I think it’s all related, and the divorce party drama was a big ol miscommunication.
Because, after a long winded argument about why it was inappropriate (Kenya flirting with Apollo signified the end of her friendship with Phaedra), Phaedra reveals that she believed Kenya was mocking her with the party, and setting up to be a fool over her divorce. In retrospect I can see why Phaedra would think that, but as Kenya pointed out – why not just ask Kenya and try to work it out?! Why hide behind the BRAT diet of ginger ale and stale toast of a storyline?

Of course Kenya and Phaedra cannot argue like grown women. They are good Housewives, so they must resort to the petty. Kenya calls Phaedra a “freak hoe” and Phaedra mumbles that Kenya is on something called the “Dubai Date Book”? Are they giving away manors too? Clearly I am not doing the right international travels…
Well, Kenya and Phaedra have prayed together for the last time, cause the water under that bridge is enough to cause a Biblical flood.
Since it’s all about Phaedra being a bad friend, we end part one by discussing Porsha’s Anger Management, and how Phaedra was the catalyst for all Porsha’s drama this season – the anger management inquisition which came to being after Phaedra’s comment, led to her fight with Kandi over lesbian-gate, and so-on…
Our Nubian Queen feels unsupported and “mistreated” by her questioning castmates who desperately want her to fail and pop-off to undermine her progress. But she’s still in treatment, although Porsha admits it’s plain-old therapy she’s getting, not just anger management. The women still don’t believe her!

Like Phaedra’s problem with Kenya is really an unresolved problem with Apollo; Porsha’s anger management argument with Kenya is really an unresolved issue with Phaedra. It is she who’s caught on tape planting the seed that Porsha wanted to reveal her progress to the group, then when they all surrounded Porsha with super-rude questions Phaedra sipped her wine, pinkie raised, and acted as if she had no idea hyenas were allowed to dine in restaurants!
Porsha defends her Frack – she should not! After seeing the episode, they had a heart-t0-heart because they are truly and sincerely friends. Well that’s all nice, I guess…
Personally I think the women were HORRIBLE about Porsha’s treatment – asking her if she’s on medication, etc was wrong. Thankfully Kenya is very much taken to task even by Andy for chasing Porsha down the street. Kenya denies she was “provoking,” but that’s the very definition of provoking. Porsha cheerfully announces that she felt proud of herself when she didn’t react, and instead got in her car and drove away. Progress!
Since Porsha is now a therapist by proxy, she (and other viewer commenters) decide Kenya needs anger management to treat the Krayonce inside of her. DING! DING! DING! Yaaaaasssss – we have a winner! Kenya may not lash out physically, but her verbal attacks are truly low, dirty, cold, and evil – she provokes, provokes, provokes, then cries victim and hides her smirk behind her hair. She whines that all the women provoke her – like calling her a bitch. Therapied-Porsha quickly points out that in just Part 1 of the reunion Kenya actually called Porsha, Sheree, and Phaedra a “bitch” (she was just being light-hearted, you guys!).
I was relieved to see Andy finally catching all the women in their lies – cause it is high time Kenya got taken to task. She has a well-storied history of provocation and victim-playing, and it’s as tiresome as these Whack-A-Mole Africans who pop up in every argument.
Since Andy is now playing Dr. Drew, and the stage is now a Dr. Jeff arena, he reads a viewer question asking if Kandi also needs anger management. Porsha agrees she does.
Kandi still has no idea why if Porsha was upset with her about the “piggybacking” she wouldn’t call and ask, like she did Phaedra.
Porsha didn’t think their friendship warranted a phone call, but she certainly had Kandi on speed-dial when she needed money for her Celebrity Apprentice challenge. Kandi donated $5k out of the goodness of her own reputation heart. However Porsha’s friendship will not be bought… unless it’s by a Rich African!
As an aside: Andy’s reporting also discovers that most of the women have guns, and Porsha and Cynthia plan to get them. Holy safety batman! Shouldn’t Porsha complete anger management first? Hasn’t anyone at ATF watched RHOA – Gone With The Wind Fabulous and Twirl should automatically disqualify you from owning a semiautomatic. What if one of these women lifts up her prom dress to reveal a holster? Well, there’s no props allowed, and they all need that paycheck, so Housewival Homicide should remain firmly in the verbal category.

Viewers said goodbye to Girls as Lena Dunham's HBO series wrapped up its six-year run on Sunday, April 16 with a quiet finale just featuring three of the show's main characters: Hannah...After a whole year of Real Housewives of New York focused around Tom D’Agostino and his shadiness, I thought this was behind us, but it’s pretty clear that the new husband of Luann de Lesseps is going to be a popular topic of conversation this year as well.
As her friend in my head, I wanted to warn Luann about Tom’s antics plenty of times, but she doesn’t seem to care and they’re already married- so what’s the purpose of belaboring this topic? Luann is all about this marriage and she is going to do whatever she can to sell this marriage and let us all know how happy she is.

I get why Luann would want to defend her relationship, but I feel like if she talked about it less (maybe) everyone else would follow suit? Or maybe that’s just naive of me. Who knows. But anyway, Luann continued on her publicity tour for her marriage Real Housewives of New York and did an interview with Fox News.
The former countess maintained, “Things are solid.” She insisted, “We’ve been through a lot and we made it to the other side, and we’re strong from it…” I wish we could just leave it at that. We all have our opinions on this relationship, but Luann doesn’t give a single f**k about them. She is just going to do what/who she wants.
When asked about Ramona, Luann declared, “She’s obsessed with my love life. Get your own love life. Stay out of my love life if it’s not going to better my life. I don’t go after about the men she’s dating or about her past or divorce… So I feel like she should stay out of my business. I’m a grown woman, I make my own decisions. I’m secured and confident in my decision and in my relationship. That should be enough. And as a friend, she should respect that.” Ramona shares pretty much nothing about her love life on the show. All she does is brag about going on “hot lunch dates,” but she never shares any names. If she wants to keep her privacy, I feel like she should stop coming for Luann or Luann is going to come right back at her.
The same article also points out that “she hasn’t confronted Tom about his reported wandering eye because Ramona’s claims are too outlandish to be taken seriously.” Really though? Even after his make out session at the Regency?
Speaking of that infamous night at the Regency, Luann said, “I knew that it didn’t mean anything to him and that he still loves me.” She continued, “If you can’t forgive the people that you love, how can you move forward? I decided to move forward and it’s made us stronger as a couple.” I guess we will see.
Luann also denies Ramona’s claims that she and Tom have an open marriage. Luann said, “We’re very happy and that’s not true. I know my truth. Ramona can talk all she wants, but it doesn’t make it real… I’m a woman who knows what I want and I’m a pretty good judge of character.” I don’t know about that last part, but again, I guess we shall see.
Unless Tom makes another mistake, I want people to stop talking about him. I just don’t care anymore. I miss the old days when Luann was recording her hilarious songs. Can we please get Luann back in the recording studio and turn up the auto tune? That’s what the fandom needs from Luann at this point.
Maybe there’s hope for that since Luann said, “Everyone keeps saying, ‘You should do a song with Erika Jayne!’” This NEEDS to happen. I would love to see Luann rocking a catsuit alongside Erika Girardi’s alter ego. Luann added, “I only met her once so I don’t really know her that well. But we’ll see, you never know. I’m a newlywed, so I’m focused on my marriage right now. But it is possible that I could do another dance song soon.” Can’t she be a newlywed and record a song with Erika?

VH1 is bringing back a lot of your favorite reality shows for even more seasons of craziness. Not only that, but Ricky Martin is set to have his own show as well. There are no specifics on the premise, but Ricky is in good company with the other famous people who took their lives to reality TV on the network.
Hopefully there will be more info about Ricky’s new show at some point soon.

According to an article from Page Six, Ricky’s show is “a revealing, never-been-seen account of one of the most private and guarded global superstars of our time.” Vague, but I have to admit that I’m intrigued.
I could never see VH1 cancelling Basketball Wives, so it’s not at all surprising that Page Six has that show on the list of the shows that will be back for more. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart cook and banter on Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party so I’m happy that one is coming back as well.
Even though I have no idea what is going on in T.I. and Tiny Harris’s complicated relationship, but I guess we will find out since “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” will be back for more. RuPaul’s Drag Race which found a home at VH1 after being on Logo for years will get another season.
I can’t imagine that VH1 would ever cancel anything in the Love & Hip Hop franchise so it’s not shocking that Love & Hip Hop Hollywood is returning. Black Ink Crew: Chicago, Hip Hop Squares, and Shaunie’s Home Court all got renewals as well.
I lived for the original version of America’s Next Top Model and in all honesty, I feel like it overstayed its welcome on its original network. So I really don’t get why it’s back on VH1 with Rita Ora as a host. She’s not American and she’s not a model. It just really doesn’t add up to me. I even tried to watch it for nostalgia’s sake, but it just wasn’t doing it for me. Nevertheless, that one will be back as well. Oh joy…

So, that was not what we were expecting, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Girls' series finale took place entirely in the country, at Hannah's cute little country...
Feud: Bette and Joan has reached its boiling point...sending one of its leading ladies into the hospital. "Abandoned!" continued to tell the tale of Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon)...So far, Karen Huger has stayed in the background when it comes to the drama on this season of Real Housewives of Potomac. She’s just been there to make comments about the other ladies’ drama and take up time talking about her house hunt.
I’m sure that this won’t last for too long since I saw that trailer for the season and it’s clear that Karen has some big drama ahead of her. Nevertheless, she’s stayed clear of that at this point so all we have from Karen are comments about Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon’s tension and her opinions on the new girl Monique Samuels.

As per usual, Karen had a lot to say in her Bravo blog entry. Karen brought up the feud between Gizelle and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan in a conversation with Robyn…and then she brought up Robyn’s opinion in a conversation with the entire cast. A little messy, but that’s pretty much standard reality star behavior. She was keeping the story line going and I get that- especially since the show was such a snooze fest last year.
Karen explained, “I consider both Robyn and Gizelle my friends. More importantly, I admire and respect the bond the two of them share. They are the Batman and Robin of our dysfunctional group of frenemies. I was not surprised that Robyn said she felt ‘Gizelle had crossed the line.'”
Karen justified bringing up the conversation in front of the other ladies in the cast: “With all the backstabbing, name-calling and outright lying we have going in our frenemy group right now, I’m not going to stand by and watch it destroy a truly genuine bond of friendship. All of the drama in our group caused this strain on Robyn and Gizelle’s relationship. What better place to have this conversation than in the presence of all the ladies? The purpose of this meeting was to be transparent and authentic with one another.” Yeah, I guess, but I think it would have been a better conversation to have with just the three of them.
Karen explained, “I don’t talk about people behind their backs, that lends itself to the misinterpretation of what it is that I’ve said. I said what I said and delivered it when and where I did because it was the right time and the right thing to do. All parties were present. There is no room for she said this or she said that. I said EXACTLY what I said. Encouraging two good friends to have a conversation that could quite possibly save their friendship is a good thing. I would want my friend to do that for me.” Fair enough. It came off like shit stirring when I watched the episode, but I’ll buy this explanation… for now.
Karen shared her thoughts about the newest cast member Monique: “It was great meeting Monique. She has a bubbly personality and a quick wit. Monique struck me as someone who likes to have fun any place, any time.”
And of course, Karen addressed Gizelle’s rudeness: “Gizelle did what she always does with the newbie. LET the shading begin. Good Lord, Gizelle, all the woman said was that she was currently looking for a home. How Gizelle got Monique may not have a home from that statement beats me. To make matters worse, Gizelle asks her, ‘So you don’t have a home?’ Gizelle went from zero to one hundred with the shade in less than a heartbeat.” Hating on the new girl with no reason wasn’t a good look for Gizelle in Season 1, so I don’t know why she thought it was a good route to take for Season 2, but I guess it does give her camera time.
Karen (very subtly) alluded to her own home drama when she wrote, “I get it though. With these women, if say you’re house hunting, selling your home or just the word HOME, all hell breaks loose and curious minds begin to run amok.” This a standard Real Housewives story line. Any time anyone purchases a home, remodels, or downsizes, it becomes a story line on these shows. And it looks like Karen’s housing situation is going to take center stage later in the season.

Will viewers see Girls' Hannah, Shosh, Jessa and Marnie on the big screen? Show creator and star Lena Dunham and showrunner Jenni Konner haven't ruled out the possibility of...Just like a lot of the viewers, Cynthia Bailey was also surprised that Kenya Moore and Kim Zolciak got into it during the Real Housewives of Atlanta season finale. Obviously Kim wasn’t going to waste her time by fading into the background of the episode, but it just seemed so random for her to have any sort of conversation with Kenya.
I expected to see Cynthia and Peter Thomas talking at Sheree Whitfield’s housewarming party just because Peter has been present at every big event this season and I expected the two of them to get some sort of closure during the last episode of the season.

Cynthia shared her take on the season finale during her most recent Bravo blog entry. She admitted, “I was totally surprised that Kenya and Kim got into it at Shereé’s housewarming. I never knew that they had an issue.” The only real issue there was Kim’s thirst for camera time and a big paycheck if she shows up next season.
Cynthia revealed, “Their argument escalated so quickly that I only caught the tail end of it. Which was still plenty! If they didn’t have an issue before the party, I’m pretty sure they do now. A lot was said on both sides.” It was absurd. I really thought that Kenya and Sheree would go at it after two years of hating on each other’s mansion construction. Kim’s resurgence and shade throwing was just so desperate. I thought she was “too good” for this show ever since she got her own series.
As per usual, Cynthia wasn’t involved in too much drama. I figured this season could have been crazy for her since she was going through a divorce, but her split with Peter was arguably the most civil breakup in Real Housewives history. At this point, I’m not at all surprised that the two of them had such a nice conversation at the housewarming party.
Cynthia shared, “Peter and I are friends. Which is what I always wanted after we split up. That was very important to me. I didn’t want to lose my friend just because we were no longer together. I will always have love and respect for him. A lot of wonderful things came out of this marriage, and that is what I choose to focus on.” Props to her. Peter did a lot of shady shit and she managed to take the high road. So I expect a pretty easy time for Cynthia during the upcoming reunion episodes.
For the first time ever in Real Housewives history, this reunion is in four parts. All of the craziness starts tonight at 8pm EST on Bravo and I cannot wait to see it all go down. Join us here in the comments as you watch the show!

Jeff Varner continues to face the repercussions of his actions on Survivor. Just a few days after outing fellow contestant Zeke Smith during tribal council, reports have surfaced claiming...I am one of the few people who fall into the rare cross section of Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers who are both Sheree Whitfield and Kenya Moore fans. I know that they cannot stand each other and I should probably pick a side, but I just think that they are both so shady and entertaining.
After two years of shading each other’s Atlanta mansions, I would have assumed that they were going to go in on each other at the Chateau Sheree housewarming party, but Kim Zolciak randomly showed up and came for Kenya- hard. Now I’m just hoping that the real estate-related shade has come to an end. I’m ready for a new story line.

After years of build-up, we all have to admit that Sheree’s house looks dope. Still, her housewarming party was full of drama. Thankfully for Sheree, none of it really had to do with her. I have no idea why Kim was so enraged by Kenya, but I’m sure Sheree was happy to see Kenya getting roasted by someone else.
In her Bravo blog, Sheree wrote, “Nothing Miss Kenya does surprises me.” I get why Kenya would want to point out the flaws in Chateau Sheree after Sheree hated on Moore Manor, but roaming around the house without permission just to make sure that the camera crew captured the unfinished basement was a little much.
Sheree explained, “I do feel that her actions where disrespectful and classless. Did I point out what I saw in her home that was unfinished? ABSOLUTELY, after she began shading me. However, I did not go into her home and go wander around freely throughout her residence. I respected the fact that I was in her home and only remained in the sections of the home that were open to guests.” It’s hard to know who is right here. They both really went in on each other’s homes and said the most unnecessary (albeit hilarious things), but it really seemed like Kenya was thirsting for ammunition when she went down into that basement.
As far as that Kenya and Kim argument, Sheree did not seem to be fazed by it. Sheree said, “Kim and I have history, so I know that Kim can handle herself. I had no problem sitting back and enjoying the exchange.” Of course she did. Sheree has been trying to put Kenya in her place all season. Kim just finished the job.
Sheree agreed with my sentiment: “Kenya definitely met her match with Kim.” I still don’t really get what Kim was so mad about. Maybe she was just standing up for Chateau Sheree and getting vicariously offended by Kenya’s trespassing. Or maybe she was just trying to earn a hefty paycheck if she returns to Real Housewives of Atlanta next year.
Sheree concluded, “One thing about Kim I always loved is that she will definitely give it to you straight with no chaser. Kenya was clearly not prepared for what Kim served, but if you can dish it out, be prepared to take it!” Somehow, I don’t feel like Kenya was at-all fazed. She really seems to live for this kind of tension and I’m sure she has a million insults to spew back in Kim’s direction. This is way more entertaining than fighting over mansions.
