Why 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2 Is Way Better Than the First

90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2 is in full swing and it’s safe to say that it’s blown the first season out of the water. Season 2 has been a whirlwind of emotions and drama and honestly hasn’t had a dull moment. This season follows six couples in Arizona, whereas last season included five couples in Florida. While Season 1 was definitely a good start for the series, Season 2 has worked to correct all of its flaws. Sorry Season 1!

The Last Resort Season 2 has a better cast

One of the biggest problems with the debut season of The Last Resort was its cast. The season featured two of the most controversial 90 Day Fiancé cast members, Ed Brown and Angela Deem. Throughout the years, both Ed and Angela have been criticized by viewers for their actions and have even been labeled as abusive. Ed and Angela had also been featured in several seasons with very similar storylines. This made their appearance on The Last Resort feel repetitive. 

Thankfully, Season 2 did a much better job with casting. The only questionable choice this time around was Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda. Gino and Jasmine have been featured in quite a few spin-offs lately, which has caused some fans to grow bored of them. Nonetheless, Gino and Jasmine are in dire need of couples therapy, making The Last Resort the perfect choice for them.

Season 2 also includes five other couples, some of whom viewers haven’t seen in a while. A good casting choice this season was Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre. The couple last appeared on 90 Day Fiancé Season 9 and have faced many difficulties in their marriage since then. Brandon Gibbs and Julia Trubkina were another great couple to cast, as it’s been a while since fans have seen them as well.

Season 2 focuses more heavily on therapy and uses creative techniques 

The entire premise of The Last Resort is couples therapy. However, Season 1 didn’t do the show’s general concept justice. While there were multiple therapy sessions filmed, it felt like there were more scenes of the cast hanging out in hot tubs or around the resort. Season 2 has really put a focus on the therapy aspect, which has been nice to see. While the cast does go out and mingle, the therapy sessions are the main focus.

Season 2 has also utilized more creative therapy techniques than Season 1, which has made it more interesting to watch. During Season 1, the majority of therapy sessions were traditional talk therapy. Season 2, however, has featured more activities and games to help the couples work through the retreat. 

At the beginning of the season, the couples embarked on the Compromise Canyon retreat. Each couple wrote down one of their struggles on a rock and decided whether or not to keep carrying it after a long hike. This activity was incredibly symbolic and it helped several of the couples. Other creative therapy activities this season have included a kayak race, sandbox therapy, and a camping retreat. 

Season 2 has better drama

While it’s been great to watch the couples work through therapy, it wouldn’t be a true 90 Day Fiancé show without a little drama. While Season 1 had plenty of drama, it wasn’t that entertaining. Angela’s outbursts had grown old by then and viewers were more annoyed by her rather than entertained. The rest of the Season 1 drama was also repetitive like Jovi Dufren hitting up strippers to meet him at the club. 

Unlike Season 1, the Season 2 drama has been fresh and quite frankly a lot of fun to watch. Natalie Mordovtseva has been causing chaos all season, ever since she found out Josh Weinstein slid into Sophie Sierra’s DMs. To be fair, Natalie had a valid reason to be upset. Jasmine and Natalie have been interesting to watch together as well. Both women are known as some of the explosive cast members in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. While they get along at times, their fights are also pretty funny.

Our Dream Cast for 90 Day: The Single Life Season 5

With 90 Day Fiancé Season 11 on the way, some viewers may be wondering what the next spin-off to air will be. Recently, 90 Day Fiancé has been airing shows on both Sunday and Monday nights. After 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2 wraps up, 90 Day: The Single Life Season 5 is next in line. There are many new 90 Day singles who could be featured on Season 5. These five singles in particular would be the perfect fit!

Meisha Johnson

Viewers first met Meisha Johnson on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days Season 6. Meisha traveled to Israel to meet Nicola Kanaan, whom she later got engaged to. While the pair ended their season on a high note, something later went wrong. While appearing on Pillow Talk, Meisha confirmed that she and Nicola were no longer engaged.

Meisha would be a great fit for The Single Life as she has an outgoing and upbeat personality. During her time on Before The 90 Days, Meisha stood out as a fan favorite. While Nicola might not have been Meisha’s perfect match, her soul mate is surely still out there. We hope to watch Meisha give love another chance on The Single Life!

Josh McGuffey

Josh McGuffey was recently featured on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 with his ex Lily Huang. After moving to China for Lily, Josh quickly ran into obstacles with his then-wife. Josh wasn’t able to contribute much to the relationship financially since he couldn’t work in China. Shortly after the Tell All, Lily revealed that Josh was now her ex. 

While Lily might not have been the one for Josh, someone else closer to home may be. It would be fun to watch Josh date locally in the US, where he might find a more compatible match. Hopefully, The Other Way Season 6 wasn’t Josh’s last appearance on the franchise! 

Corona Blakey

Another single that emerged from The Other Way Season 6 was Corona Blakey. Corona made the big decision to move to Iceland, to be with her now ex-boyfriend Ingi Hilmar. In doing so, Corona gave up her spot in a prestigious midwifery program. Ultimately, things didn’t work out between Corona and Ingi and the latter moved back to the US. 

Corona has an energetic personality which would be perfect for The Single Life. She was a ton of fun to watch on The Other Way due to her unique and quirky ways. The Single Life needs people who aren’t boring, which Corona certainly isn’t. After her abrupt break-up with Ingi, Corona deserves to find someone who truly understands her. 

Gabe Paboga

Gabe Paboga was a fan favorite during The Other Way Season 4, where he married Isabel Posada. After living in Colombia with Isabel for some time, things between the former couple soured. Gabe later returned to the US, where he’s been updating fans on his struggles following the split. 

During Season 4, Gabe and Isabel were fan favorites as fans found their relationship to be genuine. Unfortunately, this turned out to not be the case, but Gabe still deserves another chance at love. As the first transgender 90 Day Fiancé cast member, Gabe has been an important figure in the franchise. It would be great to see Gabe get the happy ending he originally hoped for! 

Vanja Grbic

Viewers recently witnessed Vanja Grbic’s story on Before The 90 Days Season 7. Vanja originally traveled to Croatia to meet her online beau Božo Vrdoljak. When Vanja got to Croatia, however, Božo revealed that he only saw Vanja as a friend. This crushed Vanja, although she decided to give love another try while still in Croatia. While she found a temporary love with Josko Luketin, things didn’t work out between them either. Josko blindsided Vanja, who was left heartbroken at the end of the season.

Vanja embodies what The Single Life is all about. After two difficult heartbreaks, Vanja deserves to find the right guy. It would be fun to watch Vanja date in her hometown of Orlando, where she might have more luck than she did in Croatia. Everyone deserves love, but Vanja’s 90 Day Fiancé journey has been more difficult than most. It would be really great to see Vanja find happiness.

Why Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag Deserve a Rebuilding Reality Show

My heart goes out to Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag. After raising my generation while giving us everything they had on MTV, this duo settled into their dream house in the hillsides of the Pacific Palisades. Here, Spencer and Heidi built a life they could be proud of, complete with two adorable sons, Gunner and Ryker. But then, the flames of the LA wildfires arrived at their doorstep, and in the blink of an eye, their warm, safe cocoon disappeared.

Spencer and Heidi lost everything. From the drawings that their sons drew to the photographs that the Pratt pack gathered to take, alongside the toys that made their boys feel safe, all of this is gone. And, adding insult to injury, neither their house nor their possessions were insured because, like many people in California, they got dropped from their insurance company right before this fire arrived. Cue an expensive rebuild in their future.

My sympathy for the Pratts is twofold. As a parent, my heart hurts for their losses and potential feelings of uncertainty. But I also grieve alongside them as a Floridian whose city played host to two back-to-back hurricanes in 2024. I know what it feels like to look around and see nothing but utter devastation, but like the Pratts, I also understand how it feels when the helpers arrive, hellbent on pulling us out of our pits so we can experience peace.

From fires to floods to helpers and silver linings, this world plays us notes of tragedy and triumphs, often in one fell swoop. Spencer and Heidi understand this, and as they prepare to reconstruct their lives in CA, I can not help but think about how they (and their fans) deserve a rebuilding reality television series in 2025. I will explain why now.

When they debuted on The Hills, the public never got to know the real Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag

Villians make the world of reality television go round. Spencer knows this full well, as when he joined Heidi on The Hills, he played the villain role to a T. But while Spencer was raking in that good ole hate-watch dough, his efforts saw Heidi taking a hit in the media. Win some, lose most.

In a recent interview on SiriusXM, Spencer noted that he leaned into the villain role to try and snag larger paychecks from MTV. Sadly, Heidi, an innocent bystander, was also viewed in this same light. She was dating Spencer, so for many, it became hard to ship Speidi once their messy storylines started airing. Especially when Lauren Conrad, her then-bestie, entered the equation.

Wildly, The Hills wrapped on a soundstage in 2010, properly blowing our minds. This series was heavily preplanned and laid out by production. But this did make many of us question how these characters genuinely behaved in real life. Was Spencer that bad?

We got our answer to this once Spencer and Heidi reappeared on The Hills: New Beginnings in 2019. Sure, Spencer was still messy, but his quips made me laugh this time, as his exaggerated sighs and general displeasure(s) with the world and his peers felt relatable. Also helping his cause, Spencer was now a husband and a father, so his former antics got dialed down a notch (or five), which made me ask, “Do I love Speidi?”

As it turns out, I do. After Speidi’s fans poured out in droves following the LA wildfires, I realized how many people felt the same way. Overall, what the world needs now is love, sweet love. And a chance to get to know Spencer and Heidi better in 2025.

Spencer loves Heidi. He also loves their two children and his collection of visiting hummingbirds THAT WILL RETURN ONCE HE REBUILDS. I know how much these nectar-loving babies mean to him, and I need him to remember that if he (re)builds it, they will come. And yes, I will return to my socials to watch as his face lights back up upon their landings.

Spencer and Heidi have proven their haters wrong. They are still married and holding tight to each other, even as the worrisome winds of life blow all around. Therefore, Spencer decided to support his wife through their heartbreak by getting authentic with his followers, urging them to stream her 2010 Superficial album with posts proving they had followed through.

Not only did this pay off emotionally for Heidi, as she finally got the validation and praise many withheld from her during her era on The Hills, but it also paid off financially. Within days, Heidi hit the #1 spot on iTunes and Spotify.

One cannot go anywhere now without running into one of her bops. For example, I was in the car line at my kid’s school a few days ago. This week brought winter to Florida, so I had my windows down, listening to “I’ll Do It” on repeat. Another mom glanced over, and we locked eyes as her hand hit her volume button, showing me that her mobile mom unit was also standing (driving?) in support of Heidi.

From celebrities to cool moms, Spencer and Heidi are trending. Cue a rebuilding reality television series, STAT.

On TikTok, Spencer is showing us everything. His videos are sad but necessary. For outsiders, it is hard to fathom how a charred city might present. But if you follow Spencer, you have seen his family’s entire journey, from the first flames to the final walk-through, where nothing but memories remain on his lot.

In interviews, pain is etched all over Heidi’s face. The same rings true for Spencer. Yet, they continue to wipe away their tears and forge ahead. In doing so, they are also helping others who have lost everything to the flames.

In a recent episode of her podcast, “Khloé in Wonder Land” with guest, Mel Robbins, Khloe Kardashian went candid about how she managed to go through the repercussions of her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson’s public cheating scandal just two days before she gave birth to her first child, True. The media personality disclosed that her personal experience from her first marriage with Lamar Odom helped her to face the complex situation.

Khloe Kardashian said, “Well the crazy thing is I would draw back to the feelings I had with Lamar.” She continued, “Lamar was my first husband —where I would say, ‘Okay.’ I knew how to deal with this media scandal.” The media personality further explained, “And I just knew sort of to stay away from the noise, which L.A. has a lot of noise.” “Stayed away from my phone, but I would say the biggest was I had a brand new baby and I definitely isolated,” she added.

However, Khloe Kardashian revealed that she “wasn’t in denial about all the noise.” She “didn’t want to pay attention to it. The star further talked about why she let Tristan Thompson stay during True’s delivery. She said, “And I remember when Tristan had an affair, it was public and I gave birth 48 hours later.” She continued, “And people were like, ‘Do you want him in the hospital room when you’re giving birth?’ And it was my first baby and I said, ‘I do.'”

Khloe Kardashian disclosed that it was all for the sake of her daughter True. She expressed, “I was thinking for my daughter True.” “I thought of her. I was like, ‘For her memories, I want her to know her dad was in the room,” she further explained.

Lipa and Turner have been going around the city making several unforgettable memories. From grabbing lunch to attending an event or even dancing in front of the Eiffel Tower, they can’t get enough of each other. The couple are doing everything they can to make cherished memories in the City of Love.

Earlier this week, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner enjoyed a cute dinner date in Paris. Following the singer’s successful appearance at the Chanel Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025 show, the two have been spending quality time together. The new photos documented Lipa and Turner sitting beside each other in a dinner setting. According to Hola! Magazine, they spent a date night at Parcelles, a restaurant in the Marais district.

The couple couldn’t look more in love in the photos. They were seen sharing a laugh, with Dua Lipa adorably clutching Callum Turner’s face. The pop star wore a black sleeveless top and flaunted her black nails and a ring, while Turner opted for a crisp striped shirt. 

Earlier this week, Lipa and Turner made a fashionable appearance at a Tiffany & Co. event in Paris. They twinned in all-black fits for the launch of Tiffany Titan by Pharrell Willaims. Photos from the event captured them gazing into each other’s eyes while flaunting stylish ensembles. The singer wore a strapless black structural gown, and Turner matched her vibe in an all-black suit. 

Meanwhile, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner continued to make headlines during their Paris adventure. A viral video documented the couple dancing together in front of the Eiffel Tower. They also packed on some PDA, sharing loving kisses in between selfies as they took a break from dancing and cozied up on a staircase.

It looks like Lipa and Turner are making every moment count and are enjoying each other’s company. While they haven’t publicly spoken about their relationship yet, fans have been following all of their outings, hoping for some good news soon.

The Traitors Season 3, Episode 6 Recap: Topple the Traitor

It was an all-out war this week on The Traitors. Fingers are pointing in every direction, bodies are piling up, and all of the Traitors absolutely hate each other. It’s truly unlike anything we’ve ever seen, might as well just give them the Emmy now.

Last week, the ghost of Bob the Drag Queen continued to haunt the castle because his banishment sparked a chain of events within the Traitors turret that can’t be undone. In The Traitors Season 3, Episode 6, “A Dysfunctional Family,” the drama between the three remaining Traitors led to some explosive results and frustratingly bad gameplay.

What happened on The Traitors Season 3, Episode 6?

After banishing Nikki from the game last week, we finally made it through an episode without hearing the word “coffin.” That theory has finally been put to rest, but the war that has been brewing between Wes and Boston Rob finally came to a head. Only one reality TV legend made it out alive. Meanwhile, the infighting within the Traitors alliance took a turn for the worse. A beast within Carolyn has been awakened, and there’s no turning back now. Keep on reading for all of the tea on this chaotic ride of The Traitors.

The Traitors reach a temporary truce

Episode 6 picked up with Carolyn looking as frazzled as ever while confronting her fellow Traitors in the turret. She was already PO’d about Boston Rob driving the bus over Bob the Drag Queen, but then she found out Danielle was coming for her. This is a woman on the edge.

“There’s nobody that I want to murder other than you two right now,” Carolyn told her fellow Traitors.

Rob pushed to get everyone back on the same page, and Danielle tried to apologize to Carolyn. She promised to try to “make it right,” but at this point, we’re not sure she has the capacity to do that. Her gameplay has been all over the place this season. That’s not going to get better overnight.

Who got murdered on The Traitors Season 3, Episode 6?

There was so much fighting happening between the Traitors in the turret that it’s hard to believe they were able to decide on someone to murder. Ultimately, they chose to drop the axe on Bob H.

We kind of saw this one coming because Bob just appeared on Watch What Happens Live this week to talk about the show. Dorinda was a guest on Andy Cohen’s show the same week she was murdered, too. Are we sensing a pattern here? Perhaps. Either way, Bob definitely didn’t see it coming.

“No f*cking way,” Bob said in reaction to his murder. “I’m just angry over the train of thought of why I was murdered.”

Fortunately for him, it seems like his death will be avenged in the very near future. The walls are quickly closing in on Boston Rob with Detective Derrick leading the case. The Big Brother alum has been quietly putting all the clues together about these recent murders. He just needs to get everyone else to see it.

A big Traitor gets blown up

For this week’s mission, they let Alan blow stuff up, and TV really doesn’t get any more exciting than that. The superbly-dressed host brought the players back into the woods, where they were greeted by a 24-four-foot-tall Traitor. At first, it kind of seemed like they were about to recreate The Wicker Man.

Alan explained that there were crates scattered throughout the woods, and the players would need to answer number-based questions to open them. Three of the crates had shields, but the rest were filled with gunpowder. They needed to collect enough gunpowder to make Alan’s explosion big enough to “topple the Traitor.”

The producers behind the cameras had these people scooping gunpowder into buckets like they were kids playing in the sand. They had to run their buckets back to the giant Traitor so that Alan could pull the trigger. Truly fascinating stuff happening here, folks.

The real explosive moment during this challenge was a side conversation Carolyn had with Gabby. She wanted to know if Danielle was the one throwing her name around behind her back. Carolyn previously tried getting this information out of Britney, but she wouldn’t fess up to it. Gabby isn’t that girl. She spilled all of the tea because she’s a friend to everyone — except maybe Nikki.

Little did Gabby know, she just ruined the chances of Danielle and Carolyn recovering their alliance. That information set her off, and Carolyn vowed to take down Danielle. So much for her trying to make things right.

While Carolyn mentally recovered from that information, the rest of the players continued scooping up their gunpowder. They managed to blow up the giant Traitor, banking $30,000 into the prize pot. It currently stands at a cool $100,000.

Rob and Wes go head-to-head

This week’s roundtable perfectly encapsulated why The Traitors succeeds from its mix of gamers and professional reality stars. The Big Brother and Survivor players are red in the face trying to play this serious game while the Bravolebrities are sitting pretty trying to make good TV.

For example, the roundtable started with a random back-and-forth between Dolores and Sandoval. That’s a gag for the Bravo fans watching at home, but it’s completely useless in the context of this roundtable. Just leave that man alone.

Fortunately, Detective Derrick pushed the conversation in the right direction. He started presenting all of his evidence about why Rob should be the next player banished. It was a compelling, fact-based argument.

Rob was waiting for this all day and deflected the suspicion over to Wes, who was also waiting all day for this. They went back and forth like a game of chess, with Wes revealing how Boston Rob immediately switched up on Bob the Drag Queen after the comment he made in Episode 4.

This argument could have gone somewhere, but Carolyn decided that it was her turn to take the floor. For the first time all season, she spoke up at the roundtable. We’re so glad she did.

Carolyn takes a stand

Just when you thought that the self-sabotage of these Traitors couldn’t get any worse, here comes Carolyn. Armed with pure frustration for Danielle, she started making her case for why Danielle was actually the person who should be banished.

“Wes is clearly being used as a scapegoat here,” Carolyn said before pointing her finger at Danielle.

The Survivor alum went into a tearful monologue about how Danielle had been sabotaging their alliance. She claimed it wasn’t personal, but Danielle was like, “Um, yes it is.” Meanwhile, Boston Rob was completely flabbergasted at how quickly things had gone downhill for the Traitors.

The cherry on top came when it was time for the votes. Carolyn wound up voting for Danielle. Danielle voted for Rob. What is happening here? This is a crisis.

Who got banished on The Traitors Season 3, Episode 6?

This was a close vote, and once again, it might have gone differently if the non-gamers would think before writing on their chalkboards. Dolores threw her vote away at Tom, just because she felt like it. Chrishell voted for Wes because they felt like he was being too abrasive. Dylan said he just wanted to follow whatever Rob did.

The vote came down to a 7-6-1 split with Wes getting banished from the game. At this point, you couldn’t help but feel bad for Detective Derrick. He presented a clear case for why Rob is a Traitor, only for half of the reality stars to completely ignore everything he said.

Wes on the other hand? It’s hard to feel bad for him. As he made sure to mention, he’s the winningest person in the room. He flipped the remaining players the middle finger on his way out of the castle.

Kim Kardashian is soaking in some sun in her newest vacation photos. The reality mogul shared pictures from her recent outing with family and friends on Instagram, proving she knows how to take time off and unwind. The carousel featured her youngest child, Pslam West, and some of her closest friends. 

If the photos are anything to go by, the entrepreneur enjoyed her vacation to the fullest. The slideshow also featured classic vacation staples, including exuding sun-kissed glow in stringy bikinis, drinks, and magical sunsets.

On Wednesday, Kim Kardashian shared a closer look at her beach holiday with family and friends. The SKIMS founder uploaded a series of vacation photos where she posed solo in stringy bikinis and with her friends at a villa overlooking the ocean. Moreover, the small houses surrounded by large palm trees added to the vacation vibes. 

The first picture showed Kim Kardashian leaning against the building structure, posing in a risqué golden stringy bikini. She pulled her hair back into a sleek bun and smiled a little as the sunlight shone on her face. The next set of photos saw her and her friend enjoying a relaxing dip at the pool as they watched the sunset. The reality TV star also modeled in other stringy bikinis throughout the vacation. In one photo, she wore a brown bikini and paired it with a slit skirt. In another, she showcased her toned sun-kissed physique in a grey bikini.

Kim Kardashian’s vacation photos also saw her enjoying her time with friends Allison Statter and Simone Harouche. Her son Psalm West also made an appearance in the carousel. He was seen hanging out by the pool in swimming shorts. “The Kardashians” star ended her photo series with glimpses in and around the villa and a view of the beautiful sunset.

Kardashian is taking in all the family time she can amid her busy professional career. From planning her daughter Chicago’s seventh birthday party to spending a date night with her eldest daughter, North West, the mom of four is doing it all.

Livvy Dunne’s new TikTok video of her boyfriend, Paul Skenes, cooking for her proved why they are the internet’s favorite couple. The viral clip of Skenes, MLB star and Rookie of the Year recipient, captured hearts on social media, with commenters calling him a “keeper” and Dunne “lucky.” More comments pointed out how “that’s a love language right there!!” One user even joked, “I’ve cooked for my wife for almost thirty years, and I could never throw over 60.”

Livvy Dunne shared her boyfriend Paul Skenes’ cooking video on TikTok for the world to see, and there’s something so wholesome about it. In a heartwarming reaction, Dunne shared glimpses of Skenes’ magical work in the kitchen, flaunting that her man serves both on and off the field. Moreover, she wrote a teasing text over the video, “Boys! I heard cooking for your girl will make you throw 100mph fyi” — a Baseball reference for her Pittsburgh Pirates’ pitcher boyfriend. She then made a point in the caption, “a man that cooks>”

The first part of the video showed Skenes slicing some grilled chicken in the kitchen while the remaining part captured more angles. In the following snippets, he appeared to be stirring something in the pot and even showed glimpses of what was actually cooking. Finally, Dunne exhibited her reaction by spinning out of excitement and performing a little dancy dance for the camera in her adorable tiny shorts and baggy pullover. Meanwhile, the athlete wore shorts and a dark blue hoodie and rocked a cutesy red apron with gorgeous patterns.

Livvy Dunne’s video of Paul Skenes’ cooking comes after a series of other TikToks of her gushing over her boyfriend. In her previous post from the BBWAA night, Dunne proudly announced from her “POV” that she pulled a “1/1 Paul Skenes.” The video comprised clips of them delivering absolute couple goals. The Sports Illustrated swimsuit model reportedly supported Skenes by joining him for his big night on Saturday as the ROTY award recipient.

Sold on SLC Episode 7 Recap: Kumbaya, My Lord

Sold on SLC is back via Episode 7, featuring a retreat to help return these sinners to their saint-like ways. Not shockingly, this plan comes up short. Last week, the agents loaded their chartered party bus as stripper jokes sounded, making Jennifer sigh. Jennifer has a lot of work to do, as her interoffice red flags love waving daily at half-mast.

Her female agents remain frustrated with Matt. And now, his wife Nicole has entered the chat. Nicole is equally annoyed that the ladies who work with her husband are struggling with their silence on his antics. Yet, if these ladies felt heard or saw Matt taking on water like them, this storyline tide might turn.

Tyna, however, might not be able to wait for the seas to self-correct at Presidio. She already has one foot out the door. Hopefully, this retreat will change her mind. Or not, hence this recap for an appropriately titled Sold on SLC Episode 7: “Thou Shalt Retreat Others with Respect.”

What happened in Sold on SLC Episode 7?

Matt used to visit strip clubs. This secret came out courtesy of Kiley, a friend of this cast. While Matt should be the maddest at himself, he is now turning on Malaysia. Matt and Kenny find it fishy that her guest outed him, so now, they are throwing Malaysia under the bus with their suspicions.

Unfortunately, Jennifer is also raising her eyebrows at Malaysia. But Malaysia feels like Jennifer is turning her back on her, and she is not here for this. Nor is Tyna. Her foot is sliding even farther out the door of this brokerage.

Sarah, Malaysia, and Tyna feel insecure, as their boss does not seem to have their backs. Couple this storyline with the narratives that Matt and Kenny are feeding us, and you will see that things are not well at Presidio.

The Presidio agents arrive at their retreat in Saint George, Utah, where fingers start pointing at Malaysia

The agents pull up to their luxurious villas in St. George, Utah. Jennifer assigns Sarah to a suite while Malaysia and Tyna score individual rooms with en-suite baths. The men, however, are all staying together in a room filled with bunk beds. They are annoyed, and we will allow it.

The girls grab snack plates and robes and visit Sarah in her gigantic suite. They are frustrated that Nicole called Malaysia out for making a pole joke.

In their sausage-filled space, Tyler, another Presidio agent, learns about the drama he somehow missed from Matt and Kenny. But Matt keeps his sins brief. He then turns the conversation into a set-up storyline that we already hate. Matt and Kenny think Malaysia set Matt up, and they hate her jokey text about a pole, so now they are pointing their fall guy fingers at Malaysia, not Matt.

Tyler does not jump on their bandwagons. Instead, he instructs Matt to remain vulnerable and keep moving forward. You can stay, Tyler (for now).

Malaysia visits Jennifer in her suite. Malaysia thinks that Matt and Nicole called her out in public on purpose. Jennifer agrees that Nicole should have confronted Malaysia in private. But she also feels like Malaysia needs to apologize for her too-soon jests.

Jennifer then tells Malaysia that she is somewhat to blame. She thinks Malaysia could have kept these rumors quieter. Malaysia was all of us in her confessional, explaining how odd it is that this sex scandal is seeing an innocent woman get the blame instead of the man.

Jennifer wants Malaysia to apologize. She hates what Malaysia is doing to them, she states. But Malaysia claps back, leaving Jennifer frustrated.

Jennifer plans a breathwork activity that leaves Kenny in tears

Jennifer holds a breathwork session to try and restore peace amongst her agents. Defeated, Malaysia arrives last. As their session rolls along, Kenny starts audibly crying. Erin (their coach), Jennifer, and Matt gather around in support.

In front of everyone, Kenny gathers his emotions and explains that he felt positive childhood memories creeping back into his subconscious. Kenny must have blocked these recollections out, he says. Therefore, his emotions went into overdrive after revisiting these timelines. His vulnerability encourages Matt to speak out next.

The music shifts into a Poky the Little Puppy-styled crawl as Matt gathers his thoughts, proving that this series has a solid production team. Through tears, Matt admits that he struggles with confrontation. He likes connection more, he adds.

Annoyed, Sarah reminds us in her confessional that Matt needs to apologize then because his mouth has said some awful, non-connecting statements about her.

Back in the villa, Tyna and Kenny partner off. As do Sarah and Malaysia. Malaysia and Sarah are bothered that the tables are turning, making the ladies look like villains.

In their huddled spot, Kenny confides in Tyna. When he was young, his parents divorced. Abuse transpired at his address at the hands of his father, who has since passed away. Tyna cries, admitting she was also abused as a child, so she can understand how Kenny blocked out his positive childhood memories, as she did the same.

Jennifer pairs her agents off for a shockingly successful day of team-building

The agents gather on the sofa, where Jennifer partners them off to either tire joust or ride UTVs. Malaysia gets Kenny. Together, they get tire jousting.

Sarah gets assigned to Matt. They will also partake in a tire jousting activity. Tyna, however, gets Tyler, making them the only excited duo in this room.

The tire jousters head outside to await their instructions. They learn they are not riding down a hill in their tires or doing anything else that might be wild. Instead, they are poking tires with lance-like objects. Whomp whomp.

Across town, Tyna and Tyler are having the time of their lives in their UTV. The cameras pan back to the jousters. They are experiencing the opposite. On the bright side, Sarah and Matt bond a little, as do Malaysia and Kenny, so maybe Jennifer was on to something with this idea.

Back at the villa, Tyna and Tyler head to the couch. Tyna admits she is looking at other brokerages. Tyler understands. Can we start a petition to get Tyler featured more in this series?

Jennifer finds success again via a suggestion box activity but Malaysia still finds herself in the hot seat

Later that night, the agents gather around a campfire, but it is not to sing kumbaya. Instead, Jennifer asks them to write down anonymous suggestions for a discussion. Kenny fails. He writes his name on his, but his suggestion is far from catty, so he remains safe.

Tyna remains amazing. She is hiding under a blanket, trying to avoid smoke inhalation, joking about finding better ways to get choked than this.

Jennifer reads the first anonymous note, asking her to remain neutral in office conflicts. She tears up but admits that she agrees and understands. However, Jennifer explains that she harbors a sore spot for agents who have left Presidio.

Her tears ramp up at the next card, which mentions only positive things about Presidio and Jennifer. None of the agents in this series wrote this note, as they each admit to being not it in their confessionals. It must have been one of the other top-earning agents along for the ride.

The next day, the boys help each other with their spray tans. Then, Kenny finds Tyna to share his suspicions about Malaysia. Tyna shuts him down at first, but his statements make her pause. Yet, she remains unconvinced that Malaysia set Matt up.

But in her confessional, Tyna admits that if this is true, it might change her perception of Malaysia. We asked Malaysia about this already. She preplanned nothing, she stated, so now, we wait to see how this shakes out next week when the finale of Sold on SLC airs.
