According to Jensen Ackles, his early days on Dark Angel were not-so-heavenly. During his appearance on the Jan. 18 episode of Inside of You: Michael Rosenbaum, the...If you know your reality TV history, you know how the old saying goes: “What happens in Cabo…” And this week on The Real Housewives of Orange County, we’re once again headed from the OC to Cabo. No, not that Cabo. The other Cabo. Did you even know there was more than one Cabo on the Baja peninsula? Los Cabos? Because this recapper certainly didn’t. But if one person did, it’s obviously Heather Dubrow. Not to mention all the operators at the international phone sex operation that is 1-900-SHA-NNON.
Like any good vacation south of the border, this week’s RHOC kicks off with a bikini shopping montage that gave me serious shades of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County all grown up. Emily Simpson and Dr. Jen Armstrong try on bathing while Nicole James waffles about whether or not she’s actually going to Mexico. (Spoiler: she doesn’t.) Turns out, the not-quite-Friend of the Housewives is in a fight with Noella Bergener. Over how sociopathic and unsupportive she’s been about the divorce from James Bergener. So much so that, if Noella goes on the trip, Nicole refuses to come. However, it’s hard to feel any investment in this ultimatum because we only see the feud via flashback. And with that, Nicole disappears into the land of former Bravo stars. Probably never to be seen or heard from again.
Speaking of Noella, it’s unclear whether she’s even invited on the getaway, let alone choosing to attend. At the end of last week’s episode, she still hadn’t made the list. But Gina Kirschenheiter shows up to Chateau Dubrow to advocate on her new pal’s behalf. She makes a plea for Heather to invite the newbie on the trip. Yes, so she feels included. But mostly because if the women leave her behind in Orange County, Gina will spend the whole trip worried about her. After all, Noella’s entire world is still in the midst of crumbling around her. So now’s probably not the best time to leave her alone.
Heather hears Gina out, but still has more than a few reservations. Because not only is the tension between her and Noella still fresh, but there’s been a twist. Noella was seemingly on her best behavior at the launch party for Max Dubrow‘s self-help book last week. She even brought the newly-minted author a gift! However, when Max opened the gift after the party, she discovered it was a pride card game…that was entirely inappropriate for any adult to give a teenager. In fact, it’s so vulgar that Heather has to be bleeped out for almost 15 full seconds as she reads off the different cards.
And to be clear, before people start biting my head off in the comments the problem here isn’t necessarily playing an inappropriate game. Heather even threw her own naughty version of truth or dare for Valentine’s Day during Season 9 that taught us all what a “Dirty Sanchez” is. (Don’t Google it.) The problem is giving said appropriate game to a friend’s child who happens to be underage. I don’t care if she’s 17. It’s the principle of the thing. But eventually Heather relents. Sure, Noella can come on the trip. As long as Gina is in charge of containing the chaos that she’s sure to bring to Cabo.
The next day, the ‘Wives jet off to Cabo in a private plane. San Jose del Cabo, to be specific. Nicole will not be joining them. Though it’s unclear whether that was due to her drama with Noella or the rumor going around the internet that she refused to get vaccinated for the international travel. But either way, she’s exiting stage left. And Noella will be arriving late. So for the first day or so, it’s just the five other ‘Wives. And honestly, the mood seems great. Even with Shannon Beador — who still has quite a bit of unfinished business with a lot of these ladies — back in the group.
As expected, the villa Heather‘s chosen is nothing short of fabulous, complete with more private casitas than the number of women on the trip. There’s a pool. There’s a private bartender on call. The ‘Wives will basically want for nothing over the next few days. And despite Heather’s well-documented love of having every single detail planned out in advance, the itinerary for the first day is pretty much “do whatever you want.” Relax. Unwind. Enjoy yourselves while Heather fits in a last-minute meeting with the architect she’s hired to build Chateau Dubrow: Vacation Hideaway.
Shannon, Emily and Gina opt to go horseback riding on the beach while Heather and Dr. Jen stay behind at the villa. So while Emily shows off her keen ability to canter, the latter pair bond over their shared experiences of balancing family with the responsibilities of the plastic surgeon in the family. Or, in Dr. Jen’s case, the aesthetic medicine physician. (I’m still confused about whether she’s actually bored certified.) It seems the Armstrongs are in a similar place to where the Dubrows were just a few years ago. So Heather is a valuable source of advice about prioritizing family over spending another hour at the office. It was a lesson Terry Dubrow had to learn, and Dr. Jen will have to learn it as well. Also, she apparently has concrete in her leg from a bone tumor in her 20s??
Meanwhile, the other three ‘Wives dismount from the horses for a little session of gossip and champagne on the beach. Shannon‘s worried about what kind of welcome Noella is walking in to. And that’s with her having missed the past two weeks of drama going down. Is she even aware of half of what’s transpired between Heather and the newbie? But the threesome commit to playing peacemaker once Noella arrives. And maybe, just maybe, she and Heather can make a few baby steps on this trip toward being friends? Emily for one not holding her breath…
The ‘Wives get all dressed up and head out for their first official dinner of the trip. Just in time for Noella to arrive to a completely empty villa! This gives her the perfect excuse she’s looking for to start shading Heather‘s hostess skills. Because if she were the hostess, she would’ve made sure to be there to welcome her (late) guest with open arms. Never mind that Noella missed her flight and had to take a later one because she didn’t bring her passport to the airport. Did Noella really expect the rest of the group to sit around the villa waiting for her to show up? Wait, don’t answer that.
Dinner in the jungle room at ACRE Baja is off to a lovely start. Sure, there hasn’t been much drama beyond Emily and Shannon being unable to open the villa’s front door. But it seems like the trip is perfectly primed for all the women to really bond and get to know one another on a deeper level. That is, until Noella struts in and completely disrupts the vibe of the evening. Within seconds, she’s sucking all the air out of the room. The girl just can’t help making everything about herself, whether it’s complaining about the un-chilled vodka shots or lamenting about her “poor little rich girl problems” of being required to have a passport for international travel. (Her words, not mine.)
Noella jumps right into the drama of it all — she wants to know all the gossip that Nicole apparently told Emily she was talking behind her and Gina‘s backs. She cops to saying all Emily does is take her kids to frozen yogurt and Costco. But denies ever calling Gina’s boyfriend a broke loser. (The newbie did comment about Gina’s casita, though, courtesy of secondhand shade from ex-bestie Braunwyn Windham-Burke. But that was before she ever started filming, OK?!) As the rest of the women sit mostly in silence, Noella puts on a whole show, even being being dramatic about eating the plate of food in front of her.
Pulling her away to the bathroom, Emily and Gina try to tactfully hint that their new pal might do herself a favor by chilling out a little. But Noella balks at the idea that her loud, look-at-me behavior is getting on Heather‘s — or anyone else’s — nerves. Now that she’s here, she’s ready to stir up some trouble for the cameras anywhere she can find it. And her sights are set squarely on the hostess. With that, we’re treated to an entirely uncessary “To Be Continued…” and the midseason trailer! See you back here in two weeks!

All of the Married At First Sight couples are finally married! Now we can move on to the real drama. Everyone knows that it is the honeymoon when things start to get interesting. But on this week’s episode, that isn’t necessarily true. For one couple, the drama starts early when a bride decides she doesn’t like her stranger spouse.
The four remaining singles become legally bound in marriage. The receptions kick into high gear as the couples get to know their spouses’ family and friends. I think some of the participants should have watched their well-meaning friends a little closer. There were definitely moments where things were said that did more harm than good. Let’s get straight into the recap!
Finally Steve and Noi meet at the altar. This is one of the weddings I was looking forward to and it didn’t disappoint. I literally almost cried during the vows, they were so heartfelt. During a post interview, Steve and Noi both gush over how much they like one another, so far. I am routing for these two, not only are they adorable but they seem genuine as well.
Noi decides to bring incorporate her culture into her wedding day. She presents Steve with some traditional garb and officially welcomes him into her family. I love it! I don’t know why, but there is something about them that gives me a little bit of hope. During the reception, Noi inquires about what Steve does for a living. He explains he was laid off and then took time off for a cross country trip. Although she is surprised, she feels believes his situation is just temporary. I am glad this situation came up early and Steve had the opportunity to face it head on. His approach was confident and he didn’t seem worried, which I believe helped to ease her concerns.
Alyssa and Chris are the final Married At First Sight couple to tie the knot. I don’t know if it is the wait or that Alyssa reminds me of a Jersey Shore cast member, but I don’t have a good feeling about this. The experts claim they were matched because they are both direct and have qualities to help each other. Depending on the person, being direct could be a good or a bad thing. Chris is all smiles when he sees his stranger spouse walk down the aisle.
After the wedding, things seem to be going okay until Chris mentions he is VP of the disc golf association. Nothing says sexy, like a disc golf executive. Umm… maybe keep that little gem to yourself, until she finds out more about you. Things get even more awkward when Alyssa decides to direct their wedding pictures instead of listening to the photographer. This is not a woman who is afraid to give her opinion. During the reception, she isn’t comfortable kissing her new husband to appease their guests. She even alludes to being unsure of how long she will be married to him. Well, that didn’t take long for the red flags to start to appear.
At the reception, Chris speaks with Alyssa’s mother and friends who give him more of an idea of who he just married. They give him some sage advice about her mood swings. Alyssa speaks with Chris’ groomsmen who explain a little more about her new husband’s personality. It appears he may not be as sweet as he seems. According to them, he can be long winded and condescending at times.
Well I was right. Shortly after the reception, Alyssa decides she hates her husband. She locks herself in the bathroom and tells producers that he is not the type of guy she wanted. Sigh! Did she forget what show she is on? It is rare that the experts deliver what someone specifically requested. Apparently, what Chris’ friends said really bothers her all of sudden. Honestly, I think she was nervous about her first night alone with a man she barely knows and freaked out. Either way, I don’t think it was fair for her to leave Chris in the dark about issue, on the night of their wedding.
Olajuwon and Katina are excited to embark on their new journey into marital bliss. They are enjoying getting to know one another while taking their wedding photos. During the reception things continue to progress as they become more and more comfortable. Later, he decides to grill his wife on her cooking skills. Little does she know he is asking because he expects her to cook him a meal every night. SMH… I think they may need to learn how to cook together.
Katina gets some very valuable from Olajuwon’s groomsmen. They don’t pull any punches and let her know she has to be patient with him. They even warn her that he may try to mold her into the person that he wants. I am shocked that they were so honest right away. Personally, that would have turned me off. But she takes their suggestions in stride. Meanwhile, he sits with Katina’s mom and almost talks her to death. But all in all, things are seemingly going well. On a side note, is it just me, or did Olajuwon have stains on the back of his boxers when he jumped on the bed at the hotel? I don’t know if producers told him or he realized, but he put on some basketball shorts for bed. Whew! Not a good sign when a man has on stained underwear on one of the most important nights of his life. Insert side eye here.
I wasn’t sure what to expect from Jasmina and Michael, but they are getting along really well at their wedding reception. But, when he explains his work schedule she is visibly disappointed. Later, she speaks with his sisters who give her more insight into their family. They even give her a breast cancer pin they all are wearing to honor their late mother. Meanwhile, Michael speaks with his wife’s parents and seeks some advice for their marriage.

Hello Dolly 2.0! Clash of the Cover Bands champ Karen Hester proved why she was totally deserving of her big win when she got the opportunity to perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy...In 2020, Netflix released a docuseries called Cheer. It followed the lives of Navarro College’s competitive cheerleading squad. The group, set in Texas and led by Coach Monica Aldama, was an instant success. And with that success, came a few breakout stars. One such star was the always upbeat Jerry Harris.
Fans loved him and couldn’t get enough. So they were collectively heartbroken when the news broke that Jerry was arrested. Jerry received a federal charge of allegedly producing child pornography. A statement from federal officials accused Jerry of “enticing an underage boy to produce sexually explicit videos and photos of himself.” Additional charges followed and it rocked fans and of course, the Navarro cheer team.
Now Monica is opening up about how she found out about the charges and how they affected her. As reported by People, Monica spoke with Tamron Hall on an episode of her talk show. Monica revealed that she was busy preparing for a live Dancing with the Stars show when she found out. She said an executive producer pulled her aside to tell her about the allegations against Jerry.
Said Monica, who was tapped to compete on the 29th season of DWTS, “I was on the stage. We were about to go into the full dress rehearsal and that’s when the executive producer came up to me and asked me if I had seen the headlines and, of course, I had not.”
She continued, “I was just taken aback and it kind of took the breath out of me for a minute and all I could read is the headline. I couldn’t read the actual article. I still haven’t read the actual article. I told her I couldn’t even look at that until I got finished with the show that night.” Monica admitted, “I couldn’t read anything. I had to stay emotionally strong because I was already a wreck thinking about doing Dancing with the Stars. I just tried to hold back until I got through that night and let all the emotions pour in.”
Monica revealed that her “heart was just all over the place.” She also struggled with not being “physically in Texas” with her team. She confessed, “That also was really weighing on me. You know not physically being able to be with the team and the people who I felt like we needed to lean on each other and we did as best we could.” So she took to FaceTime to discuss the incident with her team. Said Monica, “It was awful honestly. I never witnessed sadness like that.”
Jerry is currently being sued by two underage twin brothers who claim they were sexually abused by the star. A spokesperson for Jerry released a statement that said, “We categorically dispute the claims made against Jerry Harris, which are alleged to have occurred when he was a teenager. We are confident that when the investigation is completed the true facts will be revealed.”
The second season of Cheer was recently released on Netflix and will follow the team in their quest for another championship. It will also address the fallout of the allegations against Jerry.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 16 has so far been giving us a lot of nothing. Despite Heather Dubrow’s off-the-rails sushi party, what have we really gotten? Newbie Noella Bergener’s divorce story is boring. Maybe we will see more to it but something tells me the rest of the cast doesn’t even care. Nor should they really. Because Noella is too busy making up lies about Heather “slamming people into walls.” To which Heather and viewers alike collectively said, “HUH?”
After Noella, we have our OTHER boring newbie, Dr. Jen Armstrong. She has plenty of off-camera lawsuits which could keep her storyline busy, but so far nothing has come up. On camera, all she’s bringing is a shirtless husband who rearranged the letters of his name to form a new one. Which even Jen seems confused about. Talk about not fun. He couldn’t even come up with a more exciting name? Fourth season vet Emily Simpson tried her hardest to bring Jen into the fold in a recent episode. She grilled her on her past relationship and where she got her money. Drunkenly, I might add. Which is my favorite kind of Emily. You know, Fun Emily.
On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, presumably sober Emily opened up about which cast member isn’t really doing it for her. Host Andy Cohen asked, “In honor of Fun Emily, which of your fellow ‘Wives is the least fun?” Emily paused for an extended period of time. She finally settled on an answer and relented, “I’d say Jen.”
Is anyone surprised? No. Jen seemed like a deer in headlights when Emily came for her and didn’t even seem to understand that her main goal was to argue back. It’s almost like she doesn’t understand the role of the show she has been cast on. Has Jen even given us a laugh this season? Anything? She did shame stay at home moms. Oh, and when Emily was grilling her she admitted to having a rich ex who she was with for his “personality.” Riveting!
Even Noella, who is being accused of thirsting beyond the point of what’s acceptable, doesn’t like Jen. She recently slammed her and said, “She’s thirsty. She’s one of those people girls who just takes a little something and turns it into a big thing so she can hear her own voice. I hate being around people like that sometimes because you can’t let your wall down.” Oof. Tough words coming from the lady who was fawning over Shane Simpson at a party for attention.
This begs the question – can you be thirsty and boring at the same time? I guess we will find out.

It’s time to “pick a side.” Lala Kent made no bones about telling her friends these very words after her breakup with fiancé Randall Emmett. Let’s face it, after we saw the reports of Randall cheating on Lala, we knew it was going to get messy. But I’m not sure if any of us were prepared for just HOW messy it would be. You know what they say, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. And the Vanderpump Rules star is definitely scorned.
So it’s not really a surprise that she’s expecting her friends to pick a team. As much as I dislike Lala, I would be doing the same. Plus, weren’t they all just using him for his PJ anyway? That includes Lala. As for what she demands of her friends, Lala recently said, “It’s just a situation where I was forced to tell people, and I hate even being this person, but you’ve got to pick a side. Even if you pick his, totally fine, but just know that I don’t f–k with you anymore.”
Well one castmate has already made up her mind and that’s Brittany Cartwright. Which doesn’t exactly surprise me. Brittany got zero out of the relationship with Randall. Her husband Jax Taylor on the other hand…but we will get to that. As reported by E! News, Brittany said she’s “team Lala all the way.” She added, “I feel for her for everything she’s going through. She’s an incredible mom.” And Brittany should know a thing or two about how hard it is being a new mom, breakup or not. She’s also a new mom to baby Cruz, all while juggle her man-baby of a husband Jax.
I said I would get to Jax right? Well, as far as his relationship with Randall goes, Brittany seems to be in the dark. She said, “Jax and Randall were super close.” Super close as in Randall was pretending to mentor Jax with his budding “producer” career. Which was basically the updated version of his chunky sweater line. Rip Sweaters by Jax! Anyway, Brittany continued of Jax and Randall, “I’m not really sure exactly what’s going on with them, but let me just say I’m team Lala. I hope the best for her and Ocean [Kent Emmett] and their entire family.”
It’s nice that Brittany is supporting her friend but let’s be real – do we think that Jax is really going to give up Randall, one of the few meal tickets that he has left? After being fired from VPR, Jax and Brittany really have nothing going on, despite Jax’s sad attempts to make us think otherwise. I guess he could always focus on his children’s book? Either way, something tells me that the Jax and Randall bromance might be as dead as Randall’s relationship with Lala.

Grab a drink and get settled into the couch, we have another long story to listen to! How I Met Your Mother sequel, How I Met Your Father, starring Hilary Duff, Kim Cattrall and Josh...We’re just days away from the Season 6 premiere of Summer House and this summer looks like it might be the most dramatic yet. The rocky road leading up to Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s wedding is like a dark cloud over everything. Meanwhile, we have Paige DeSorbo getting serious with Craig Conover, even though her Italian lover Andrea Denver will be in the Hamptons this go around. Then we have the mess that is Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll, who can’t restrain himself from heading to New York to wreck everything up. Thankfully, we’ll also have Carl Radke back on our TVs after wayyyy too long.
If you haven’t heard the news, Carl and Lindsay Hubbard are officially official yet again. Yes, there’s something in the Atlantic Ocean making all these Bravolebs fall in love with each other. But based on the Season 6 trailer, Linds seems to have one last rendezvous with Austen before crawling back to Carlito. And in an interview with Us Weekly, Carl has chimed in on how it feels to watch his girlfriend hook up with his friend on TV. I’m sure you’re aware of First World Problems, but now I give you Good Vibe Tribe Problems. The rest of us normies will never understand.
Carl knew that Lindsay and Austen had a close relationship going into the summer and even well before the filming of Winter House. “I always was supportive of their friendship, and I even was like, ‘Yeah, you and Austen should have fun, go for it. I mean, do your thing.’ So I’ve always wanted Lindsay to be happy,” Carl said. I’M SWOONING. Carl is such a self-aware King. Linds better not break his perfect little heart.
Carlito went on to explain that Linds is an adult who can make her own decisions, even though he is protective of his No. 1 Amiga. “I wanted her to have the best summer she could have because — based on both of our previous summers — I think we were all needing to let loose a bit,” he said. So even though the rumors of Carl and Linds have been going around for months, it sounds like the two will keep it PG on the show for now.
If you watched the Summer House trailer, the graphic pillow talk between Linds and Austen has probably been burned into your brain like it has for me. Carl admits that it will be “a little tough” to watch some of the scenes of next season. “But I’ll be sitting next to her watching it,” he added. “Yes, the show was filmed six, seven months ago, but I try to remain present and just remember where we are right now. I mean, we all have previous relationships. We’ve all had makeouts and hookups that have been on this show. So, it’s like, ‘What’s another one?'” Such a positive king. Bring on Season 6, Bravo.

The thirst is real! And on Real Housewives of Orange County, the title for the thirstiest is still up for grabs. Many fans (and Bravolebrities) are easily pointing to newbie Noella Bergener. Not only has Noella been airing out her “surprise” divorce for the cameras, but she has also come for Heather Dubrow in the strangest of ways. In a recent episode of RHOC, Noella accused Heather of “slamming” people up against walls. So the producers literally said “roll that footage” and showed nothing of the sort. I don’t even think Noella knew what she was talking about when she said it. Listen, I don’t mind someone coming for Heather, who has been insufferable this season, but Noella isn’t the one.
So, it does seem as though Noella is very thirsty indeed. And on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, fellow castmate Emily Simpson confirmed. When Host Andy Cohen asked, “Who do you think is thirstier, Noella or Dr. Jen [Armstrong]?” Emily didn’t hesitate and responded, “Oh, I’d say Noella. She does Instagrams from her bathtub. That’s thirsty.” LOL, paging Meredith Marks.
Meanwhile, Noella probably doesn’t agree, as she’s busy accusing Jen of the same thing. In a recent episode, Noella decided to come for Jen and make it weird that Jen tagged Noella in a photo of herself on Instagram. The alleged issue, which Noella either wasn’t smart enough or inept enough to explain, is that Noella gets her work done elsewhere. And she didn’t want Jen, a cosmetic dermatologist, insinuating that Noella was a patient. Imagine fighting with someone for credit over where you get your work done. Rich lady problems, ammirite?
Noella recently said of the incident, “The thirstiness was her coming up to me mere days after being divorced and just setting the whole tone for a conversation when it was really a confrontation. She’s thirsty. She’s one of those people girls who just takes a little something and turns it into a big thing so she can hear her own voice. I hate being around people like that sometimes because you can’t let your wall down.”
This is all such a strange argument to be having. And it kind of points to the lack of drama this season on RHOC. Again. It’s like producers stuffed all the drama of the season into Heather’s sushi party. Is that the best we are going to get? Because honestly, neither Noella or Jen are bringing enough to the table for me. Neither is Heather, who as supposed to save the franchise. Are we in for another snooze fest of a season? I guess we will find out.

Now that Lala Kent of Vanderpump rules is moving on from Randall Emmett, Many are musing as to who would possible make a good match for the VPR vixen. If you, like others, had the bizarre but entertaining idea of Lala and 50 Cent, she is 100 perCent into it. Lala confirmed on a recent episode of the Juicy Scoop podcast with Heather Mcdonald, that she would in fact, date the rapper.
While discussing Lala’s dating life, Heather asked, “some people are asking would you date 50 Cent?” Lala took a pause before responding, “F–k yes… I don’t think 50 Cent would date Lala.” She then added, “Can I tell you when Fifty came out with his song “In Da Club” I had the biggest crush on him.”
“And what year was that?” Heather asked the reality star. Lala mused, “Oh, I was so young. I think I was till in junior high. I just thought he was the finest thing to ever fall onto the planet.”
The connection between Lala and Fifty goes back to the infamous 2019 ‘Fofty’ feud between Randall and Fifty. The rapper alleged at the time that the television producer owed him a million dollars. Fifty made the the debt public after seeing a scene where Lala discusses a Range Rover Randall had bought for her as a gift.
Referencing the feud Heather continued, “When that whole thing blew up… You were like involved in that [feud]. You were very gangster Lala at that point and [saying] ‘my man’, How do you feel now looking back?”
Lala quipped, “Oh, Fifty, bring the dogs in.” Heather pressed, “What’s that mean?”. Lala replied, “It means, bring the dogs out. Here he is. You would not see me sliding into defend [Randall] by any means.”
Sorry Randall. Next time you allegedly owe someone a cool mill, you’ll have to fight your own fight. Despite the antagonistic back and forth between Lala and Fifty at that time, it was clearly a case of Lala standing up for her man. Randall didn’t appreciate the calibre of woman he had: One willing to take on her Junior high celebrity crush to defend her baby daddy.
Fifty, the balls in your court. As long as it’s not James Kennedy, we have no objections.

If there is one thing that you can say about Khloe Kardashian’s friends – it’s that they are loyal. And that includes her ex-husband, Lamar Odom. While it was rumored that he wasn’t so loyal when they were actually married, he has since become a big time Khloe supporter. He’s ready to stick up for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star again.
Tristan Thompson, one-time boyfriend and father of Khloe’s daughter True Thompson, was busted cheating again. This time, he fathered a child with someone else while he was still with Khloe. Despite trying to deny it, Maralee Nichols, the woman he cheated with, was able to prove paternity. And Tristan had no choice but to fess up.
Now Lamar is throwing in his two cents about his thoughts on Tristan and the drama. As reported by E! News, Lamar recently said of Khloe, “It’s too bad, but she’s gonna be alright. She’s a strong girl.” He added that if he were to see her, “First, I would give her a hug, I haven’t seen her in a long time. He would also advise her to “be strong for her daughter.”
As for his thoughts on Tristan, they weren’t so thoughtful. When asked about Tristan’s cheating, Lamar said, “dude is corny for that.” I would call Tristan more than just corny, but I guess Lamar was feeling generous. Especially since he recently mentioned that he would like to reconnect with Khloe. In the Instagram comments section, Lamar expressed his support for his ex-wife. He said, “I truly wish nothing but the best for her and I’m hoping we can reconnect and talk one day as friends she is a good person and deserves the world.”
That sentiment was very similar to Tristan’s mea culpa on Instagram when he was ultimately caught. He addressed Khloe and wrote, “Khloe, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”
Of course Tristan and Lamar have no love lost for each other. They openly beefed on social media after both of them commented on a spicy bikini photo Khloe posted. While a source said that Khloe “hates they were publicly acting like that,” she also “had a laugh.” Imagine having a laugh over two men who dogged you out now fighting for your attention. Couldn’t be me. But go ahead, Khloe. Keep taking what you can get.

Summer should be fun! That’s always been the Good Vibe Tribe’s mantra going into every season of Summer House. They even managed to make things fun at the height of the pandemic in Season 5. But now it’s Season 6 and several of the Housemates are headed to the Hamptons with some serious baggage. Some of it bled over from the perfection that was Winter House. And more of it has happened in the time between the snow-covered slopes of Vermont and the beaches of Long Island.
But the good news is that we won’t be spending this season in quarantine! The Hamptons are open, and the gang will be spending the summer going back and forth from New York City. Which is a delightfully painful reminder of the brief normalcy we all enjoyed last summer before the current omicron surge. But I’m not here to harsh your vibe with this recap, so let’s just focus on the positive. The entire cast is back, with the exception of the exiled Hannah Berner, and it’s the summer leading up to Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula‘s wedding! Finally!
The housemates are also in a brand-new house. And boy have they come a long way from having to organize their own summer shares in Montauk. First to arrive at the new digs are Lindsay Hubbard and Danielle Olivera, followed closely by Carl Radke. Carl! Oh how I missed the beating heart of Summer House on the spin-off to Vermont. Things just weren’t the same without our beloved Carlito. And this year he promises he’s back, six months sober, as Carl 6.0 PRO-MAX X. It’s also crazy to think that Danielle was ever downgraded to a recurring friend role back in Season 4. Meanwhile, Lindsay’s still dating Jason Cameron from Winter House. But she says they’re not exclusive and he won’t be making an appearance in the Hamptons this summer.
Next to show up after the Three Amigos are another trio: Paige DeSorbo, Ciara Miller and newbie Mya Allen. Mya is a friend of Paige’s from the city, who explains in her first confessional that she moved to NYC two years ago with her ex-fiancé. What she doesn’t mention is that her ex-fiancé is a Bravolebrity in his own right. The baker/restaurant consultant was engaged for five whole years to Kwame Onwuachi! A.k.a the fan favorite and best-dressed man on Top Chef! However, the couple broke up during quarantine and Mya’s now newly single.
Paige‘s relationship status is a bit more complicated. Kyle and Amanda, who arrive next, happen to have invited Andrea Denver to join the house for the summer. Paige and Andrea’s winter romance fizzled fairly quickly after they got back to the city. Mostly because he wanted her to stop dating other people. A couple months after that, she started hooking up with Craig Conover. But now she’ll be forced to spend all summer her gorgeous Italian model of a former flame. Yeah, this could get messy. Even if most of us already know how it’s going to end…
Cue Andrea‘s grand entrance! Perfect time, Verona. He’s brought along his pal Alex Wach, a handsome, Hong Kong-born personal trainer who insists he’s definitely not a typical Hamptons playboy. In fact, he’s never even been to the Hamptons for anything other than work. And he eats two pounds of ground turkey every morning for breakfast. But first impression is that he seems sweet and is remarkably easy on the eyes. Andrea is thrilled to see Paige — so I guess there are some pros to not being able to go back to Italy for the summer. Hashtag visa problems.
Now that everyone has arrived — sans Luke Gulbranson, who’s in Minnesota this weekend — it’s time to party! So the roommates head downtown for their first official dinner of the summer. Which is something simple they couldn’t do pretty much at all last season. So it’s actually Ciara‘s first real, true Hamptons experience. And as a New Yorker, since she’s finally signed a lease in the city. To get to know her new housemates, Mya asks everyone to go around the table and reveal their various relationship statuses. Kyle and Amanda are the most obvious; their wedding is only three months away. And it’s been moved to Amanda’s parents’ backyard in New Jersey.
Meanwhile, Danielle is coming up on her year anniversary with boyfriend Robert Sieber. And she thinks he’s the one. Almost everyone else is some version of single. Except for Lindsay, who gets weirdly cagey when her friends ask from an update on things with Jason. They weren’t talking for a bit, now they are. But Lindsay does not want to discuss it at the table. In fact, she practically bites Carl‘s head off for even pushing the subject. It’s an unnecessarily, ahem, activated reaction (if you know, you know!). It’s clearly obvious there’s something deeper going on here. And apparently only Danielle’s privy to what’s going on with her bestie.
The crew spends the rest of the night dancing and drinking at Southampton Social Club. Lindsay and Carl trickle in first a little after midnight, while everyone else comes home around 2 a.m. Well, not Kyle, who’s inexplicably still living it up at the club all by himself. This sends Amanda into an emotional spiral, especially when her fiancé won’t pick up his phone by 3 a.m. After her twenty-seventh phone call goes unanswered, Amanda absolutely loses it, breaking a bunch of Kyle’s belongings and throwing his luggage out the front door.
When Paige and Ciara go to check on her, they find Amanda sobbing in bed alone. Kyle not coming home is obviously very triggering for her considering some of their past relationship drama. (For those who don’t know, he got blackout drunk and cheated on her without remembering ahead of Season 3.) Apparently, Kyle’s partying has gotten so out of control that he’s signed some sort of contract with Amanda saying that she can call off the wedding due to his drinking. And if she does, he owes her parents every single dollar they’ve spent on their daughter’s big day. Yikes. Kyle’s always been a grown-up party boy at heart, but that’s a serious red flag.
When Kyle finally arrives home at 4 in the morning, he doesn’t even notice his luggage on the porch. And the girls are still in his bed when he finally makes it into his bedroom. After some pretend-sleeping hijinks, Amanda spends the night in the spare bedroom, letting Kyle know in no uncertain terms that he’s in hot water. As if the busted up appliances littering the bathroom floor aren’t enough of a clue. Early the next morning, Amanda’s still furious. Though Carl‘s the one to discover Kyle’s luggage when he leaves at 6 a.m. for his morning meditation and AA meeting. Good for you, Carlito! And Kyle’s in a foul mood, because he doesn’t really think he did anything wrong. Meanwhile, Andrea‘s carrying over his tradition of bringing Paige and Ciara coffee in bed from Vermont to the Hamptons.
Carl finally breaks the ice with Lindsay to find out why she was so off at dinner. And she tells him the truth: she was pregnant. And not only that, she miscarried at six weeks. Having a kid is something Lindsay’s wanted from before she ever stepped in front of Bravo’s cameras. This is obviously devastating for so many reasons. Because if she hadn’t miscarried, she would’ve kept the baby. Jason or no Jason. And that’s a big part of why we won’t be seeing him on Summer House.
Over in another part of the house, Amanda and Kyle aren’t done fighting. Oh, it’s only just beginning. Amanda’s trying to get the gravity of the situation through Kyle’s head, but he’s not interested in hearing it. He doesn’t see the connection between the problems they’ve been having about his drinking and spending the night out at Southampton Social. But Amanda refuses to be labeled the problematic one in this scenario. And unfortunately, their arguing devolves into a full-blown screaming match where therapy, denial, and the upcoming wedding all seem to be on the line. Summer may not be off to a fun start, but it definitely shouldn’t be this miserable…

With Rayna Lindsey, it’s been one step forward and three steps back all season on Below Deck. And I hate to spoil it at the very top of this recap, but it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that that’s exactly what happens in this week’s episode. We last left Eddie Lucas outside the junior deckhand’s cabin. About to knock and walk into the middle of her latest emotional breakdown. You almost want to scream, “Don’t do it, Eddie!” But you already know he can’t hear you through the screen. So he knocks. But as usual, Rayna’s not interesting in communicating her emotions. She’ll only admit via confessional that she feels as though her feelings are being manipulated like a marionette. One pull here being told not to roll her eyes on deck. Another tug there by letting her pull up the anchor.
Even despite Rayna shutting him down, Eddie refuses to give up. He just promises her that he’ll bring it up again later. Perhaps when she’s a little more ready to talk. But for now, they’re still in the middle of a charter. And Rayna is needed in her happy place, the galley, by Chef Rachel Hargrove. Because these strawberries are not about to hull themselves! Wes O’Dell hints to Fraser Olender that all is not well among the deck team. So yes, everything is going just great. And breakfast hasn’t even ended yet.
Later in the morning, Eddie tries once more to get something out of Rayna, but to pretty much no avail. She tells him the whole N-word situation with Heather Chase is still upsetting her. (This despite Heather having apologized now not once but twice. And Rayna having told the chief stew that she accepted her apology and wanted to move on.) Eddie validates Rayna’s feelings that the use of the slur should bother her. But essentially there’s nothing Heather, Eddie or anyone else can do to help Rayna feel better about the situation.
However, the deckhand also insists that she was crying in her cabin for a completely different reason. But won’t tell Eddie what about. In fact she’d rather jump overboard than discuss it. Eddie’s forced to go back to Captain Lee Rosbach and report the entire conversation. Including everything the Cap didn’t know about the N-word drama swirling around below deck. Lee rightfully explains that he can’t think of any situation in which the use of the slur would be acceptable. And now he’s determined to get to the bottom of the situation.
Meanwhile, the interior department has a full day ahead. What with pulling off both a beach picnic and a surprise vow renewal that was all Heather‘s idea. Good thing the cavalry is supposed to arrive sometime today in the form of Kaylee Milligan, Heather’s former second stew. And in a case of Murphy’s law, she shows up to M/Y Seanna while Fraser is, of course, off the boat prepping for the guests’ beach picnic. And it turns out Kaylee is much more than just Heather’s old underling. They’re apparently best friends, which is certainly going to do wonders for the insecurity Fraser is already feeling about Kaylee joining the team. However, when the stews finally meet after the beach picnic, Fraser is warm and welcoming. And ready for Kaylee to do all the laundry.
Meanwhile, Eddie forces yet another uncomfortable chat with Rayna. Under the guise of getting to run the davit. (That’s the little crane that hoists the jet skis up out of the water.) Rayna finally adds another piece of context to her problem with Heather. She feels like Eddie dismissed, or somehow ignored entirely, the entire N-word conversation. And says now she can’t trust him as a boss. He reminds her that she was the one who approached him to apologize for being disrespectful. But Rayna offers almost nothing in the way of reconciliation. She refuses to be friends with Heather, blaming the chief stew’s “ignorance.” And when Eddie asks if she can trust him now, she replies with a noncommittal “We shall see…”
For the guests’ dinner dedicated to Black excellence, Rachel‘s prepared a full Japanese tasting menu. Because why not chase her own excellence too? And Captain Lee is back at the table in his formalwear. However, one of the guests — perhaps the one who was so vocally angry last week? — excuses herself with a toothache. Not great timing, considering what she and her husband are about to miss. After five courses of near-perfect Japanese cuisine, the men of the charter group surprise their wives with a group vow renewal. With Captain Lee begrudgingly officiating! Eddie ends the night once again filling Lee in on the Rayna drama. But now the first officer’s left not knowing what to do following his deckhand’s accusations. In Lee’s eyes, ultimately, it’s up to Rayna to work it out and continue doing her job.
The next morning is drop-off day. And I must say, everything on this charter seems to have gone quite smoothly. All the way down to Rachel‘s final breakfast of seafood omelettes (topped with caviar!), chicken and waffles and bananas foster French toast. By the time the boat reaches the dock, the guests can’t even come up with the adequate words to describe how pleased they are with the charter. One of the wives even gifts Rachel with her U.S. Navy retirement coin as extra thanks for her skills in the kitchen. The tip meeting reveals just how grateful the guests were — to the tune of $25,000. That’s the biggest tip of the season thus far, and $2,270 each. Though everyone in the crew is pressured by Captain Lee into giving $100 to Kaylee for saving the day mid-charter.
To celebrate their final night out before the last charter, the crew heads ashore for dinner at the Stone Barn Park Hyatt. The meal is family-style, operating under the false pretense that everyone on the crew genuinely likes each other. Yet thankfully, there’s basically no drama during dinner. Rayna reveals she’s found a love for cooking, and asks Rachel for advice on culinary programs. And notably everyone in the crew chimes in that being in the galley seems to be Rayna’s real passion. Hint, hint: stop being a deckhand ASAP and become a chef, OK? In fact, the wildest moment of the night is Jake Foulger revealing he’s wearing one of Heather‘s thongs. Of course, the lead deckhand ends the night diving into the hotel’s water feature. It’s practically tradition at this point.
Meanwhile, Fraser pulls Heather and Kaylee aside to apologize for his earlier insecurities about the latter joining the interior. He’s quickly come to see that having Kaylee around will be helpful. And admits to letting his internal demons get the best of him. Though back on the boat, it’s all about Fraser and Jake, who spend the rest of the night bonding on the swim platform. Fraser may finally be appreciative of the vibe in the interior, but out of everyone in the crew, he says he’ll be friends with the lead deckhand forever. And Jake and his mustache reciprocate the love. Aww!

More Bravo babies in 2022! There’s no doubt that there was a bravo baby boom in 2021 but how about this year? Shahs of Sunset star Lilly Ghalichi is here to kick things off.
As reported by Us Weekly, Lilly is pregnant with her second child with husband Dara Mir. Lilly made the announcement by posting a sweet pic to her Instagram. It features Lilly looking glamorous and posing with her baby bump. She’s next to Dara and their three year old Alara. She captioned the pic, “Been busy creating life.”
In her Instagram stories, Lilly happily wrote “Surprise!!! Sorry I’ve been so MIA. It’s been a hard few months this pregnancy. Thrilled to be expecting our next baby and finally feeling better.” Lilly previously noted that her first pregnancy “was very difficult” and she was open to a surrogate.
But either way, she knew that she wanted Alara to have a sibling. In 2019 she said, “One thing I do know for sure is I will have at least one more baby in life. It would be an injustice, as delicious as Alara is, to not have at least one more.” She added, “I’m having more kids 1,000 percent. Becoming a mother has been the most life-changing experience in my life for the better! I’ve never experienced anything harder or more difficult, but at the same time, never something as rewarding as seeing your baby, your flesh and blood. I definitely want more children with or without a man.”
At the time, Lilly was likely referring to hitting a rough patch in her marriage. Whatever was going on, Dara filed for divorce. Lilly spoke candidly after the breakup. She said, “It’s not like anything atrocious happened between us that would result in us not being able to be friends or not being able to coparent or whatever the future may hold for us.” She added, “I think when two people are married. Even if the relationship ends or goes sour, as long as they remember that moment when it was good, they’ll always be able to be friends especially if there’s a child involved.”
Considering it didn’t sound particularly acrimonious, it was a pleasant surprise the hear the couple quickly reconciled. Dara requested that the court dismiss the divorce case. But Lilly ended up filing her own divorce papers in 2020. Luckily, the couple decided to get back together and like Lilly previously noted, she would “start the process of having another baby in 2020.”
Congrats to the whole family!
