The Real Housewives of New York viewers are well-aware that Luann de Lesseps and Carole Radziwill never truly got along. Sure they’ve had some fun moments here and there, but their time together is marked by shady comments and downright insults.
With Luann fresh out of rehab and Carole‘s announcement that she will not be back on the show next season, I figured they would retract their claws, but apparently that’s not the case. Luann referenced Carole’s departure from Real Housewives of New York during her cabaret show and Carole snapped back on Twitter with a pretty scathing insult.
Essentially this all started when Carole’s best-friend-turned-enemy Bethenny Frankel tweeted that Carole got fired from the show. A fan tweeted Carole, “The fact that Bethenny would even say that you were fired bc she gave Bravo an ultimatum is bullshit. She said that bc for whatever reason, B sees you as some kind of competition. She’s such an immature crybaby.”

Being a Real Housewife isn’t an easy job, especially for the new girls on the show. Joining a Real Housewives show is usually an uphill battle. None of the Housewives want anyone coming for her crown. More times than not, the new girl is met with a very icy reception from the other cast members.
Luckily for Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter they had each other for support since they joined Real Housewives of Orange County at the same time. That still doesn’t mean they’re having an easy time though. Sure, they don’t have any actual drama, but they’re also not a part of the core group- not just yet. And we all know how much Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador dislike new cast members. They will have a lot to prove if they really want to be in the fold with the Orange County clique.
Shannon met Gina and Emily for the first time during the last episode at a group dinner that just had a super awkward ending: Kelly Dodd started making out with a guy in at the table and they all just left. It started out with Kelly and Vicki continuing their argument about Vicki setting up Kelly’s ex-husband with a friend and secretly going out on double dates with them. Then Emily and Gina threw in their two cents. Kelly was loving it since they were on her side, but Vicki and Shannon were not feeling the interjections from the new ladies since they have zero history with the group.
In a Bravo blog post, Shannon discussed meeting Emily and Gina. She wrote, “I am absolutely an emotional person, but I am rarely afraid. I was not nervous meeting Emily and Gina at all.”
Gina and Emily did not get that instant stamp of approval from Shannon. Shannon admitted, “From first impressions, I thought they both threw themselves and their opinions into a situation that they knew nothing about.”
Even so, Shannon does actually agree with Gina and Emily being on Kelly’s side. She just felt like it was way too soon for them to get involved. On the other hand, it’s like we are watching two separate shows at this point: one with Vicki, Shannon, Kelly, and Tamra Judge and then another with Emily and Gina. They need to merge into one group at some point.
Shannon concluded, “While I agree with Kelly that Vicki shouldn’t have set Michael up, I found it odd and inappropriate for them to vocalize such strong opinions about Vicki, a person they had just met. They jumped right in with some pretty strong language.”

The only original cast member who is still on Below Deck Mediterranean is Hannah Ferrier. It’s (most likely) not because she is the best Chief Stew. Captain Sandy Yawn, Brooke Laughton, and Kasey Cohen have been complaining about Hannah’s (lack of) work ethic all season.
Where does Hannah succeed? She does make for great TV. Almost every single storyline centers around Hannah. And so does tonight’s new episode.
Below Deck Med is back tonight with a brand new episode on 9PM on Bravo. And that means there’s more Hannah-centered dramatics. Seriously though: the episode description on the Bravo website lists out THREE separate Hannah storylines from tonight’s episode alone.
She has relationship issues with Conrad Empson: “Hannah and Conrad re-evaluate whether their opposite outlooks on life will be able to coexist off the boat.”
Her subordinate stewardesses seem to be over her antics: “Brooke and Kasey start to air their grievances over Hannah’s work ethic, while Jamie’s [Jason] hard work gets recognition.”
She is even on thin ice with Captain Sandy– yet again: “When a group of Sandy’s friends charter the yacht, its make or break for Hannah as she puts on her best stew face.”
In non-Hannah-related news Joao Franco’s love triangle with Kasey and Brooke still has some residual drama since Brooke “questions his intentions” after Joao and Kasey “resume their friendship.”
