Peggy Sulahian’s decision to undergo a double mastectomy this past year has stirred up constant questions among the cast of The Real Housewives Of Orange County. Shannon Beador accused Peggy of telling two different stories regarding whether she actually had cancer or not, and just about everyone else was left even more confused when Peggy (and Diko) attempted to explain the specific circumstances surrounding her cancer status.
Peggy wants to set the record straight now, and she also wants her cast mates to back off. Regarding cancer, Peggy says, “I did have it. So when you’re questioning it, you’re still not understanding what I’m telling you.” She further describes the questioning she experienced as more of an “interrogation.”
Admitting that she and Diko did talk circles around the subject, Peggy confesses that they originally wanted to avoid referring to “cancer” as much as possible on camera. The couple claims that they didn’t want Peggy’s health issues to be prominently featured on RHOC, but of course that’s exactly what happened, despite their wishes.
Peggy tells ET in an interview that doctors originally found 3-millimeters of cancerous cells in one breast, and that this growth increased by twenty-five percent between the time it was found and her very next doctor’s appointment. Even though Peggy tested negative for the BRCA gene (a genetic cancer predictor), her growth was described as “aggressive,” therefore she made the decision to pursue surgery.
There were also emotional reasons surrounding Peggy’s decision, as well a familial history of breast cancer (her mother died from breast cancer when Peggy was 21 years old) that influenced her choice. Peggy shares that her diagnosis also came within months of her father passing away, and she barely had time to grieve. She says, “I haven’t even processed my cancer, let alone my dad’s death, because that was really hurtful and one year hasn’t even passed.”

When the RHOC women began questioning Peggy’s health, she admits she was confused herself on how exactly to explain it. She was also hurt by their seemingly callous treatment of her throughout the season, even though they knew she was recovering from a major surgery.
Peggy reflects, “All through the process of filming, I had expanders, I was in pain … I was taking medication [on the Iceland trip] for my pain that the doctor, of course, prescribed … nobody asked [if I was OK].”
You know, Peggy might have talked cryptically about her health issues, but really – who cares? If a woman makes the drastic decision to get a double mastectomy, the normal response should probably be along the lines of: I’m so sorry to hear that. Is there anything I can do? Sadly, it seems Peggy had to pay for the sins of Brooks Ayers from seasons past, which doesn’t seem fair.

Wendy Williams is opening up again about her scary fainting episode on her talk show. The 53-year-old had collapsed on the air while hosting a Halloween-themed Wendy Williams Show on...This Real Housewives of Orange County season got blown out of the water by the Dallas Housewives which airs right after it on Monday nights. At this point, no one would be shocked if Bravo switched things up and Dallas was the lead-in show for Orange County instead. That’s how abysmal and boring this season is. Even so, the drama picked up in Iceland.
Plus Vicki Gunvalson was actually getting along with Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador (for the most part) on the trip. Pigs must have been flying in Iceland. No one saw this one coming. Plus it gave all of us hope for the rest of this season and even next season. Don’t hold on to that thought though. Tamra is very adamant that the peace we witnessed in Iceland remained in Iceland.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Tamra explained her mindset going into the cast trip, “Shannon and I talked prior and I said, ‘Listen, I can’t carry this hostility and this anger,’ especially after I met with Vicki and that didn’t go well. After that, I sort of knew where my place was. We will never be friends, but, you know what? Maybe we can go out, go to Iceland, have fun, not get too deep about our friendship. That’s it. And that’s what we decided to do.”
Where was this epiphany earlier in the season? We had to suffer watching seven different story lines with people who are (for the most part) not even friends and now Tamra realizes that she can just be cordial and turn up on a trip Bravo paid for. Really? We could have used this mentality WAY earlier in the season.
Tamra shared, “I’m not saying I don’t care about [Vicki], ‘cause I did care about her, but when you get hurt so bad, it’s just, like, whatever.” We get it. Still, Tamra continued, “We go from me and Vicki not even speaking, then going to Iceland and kind of speaking, and then we go to the season finale and not speaking again.”
Can this show ever be resurrected? This does not sound at all promising. I just picture Tamra and Shannon refusing to speak to Vicki during the reunion episodes. Or maybe we will be blessed with just a singular reunion episode instead of suffering even more than we already have. Obviously (and unfortunately) simply not watching the show isn’t an option. A Housewives loyalist is a Housewives loyalist. No matter how bad this show might get, the longtime fans will still tune in.
Tamra said, “I feel like this season has been disgusting in a way. Pretty disgusting.” Well, I feel like this season has been boring in away. Pretty boring.
Then, Tamra said something pretty shocking, “Honestly, my friendship with Shannon was never like it was with Vicki. We were never that close. We had fun on the show, we would talk occasionally off the show, not a whole lot. But Shannon and I, we talk a hundred times a day. Like, I know her every move. And if we’re not talking, she’s texting.”
It’s valid and believable that Shannon and Tamra have become close, but Vicki was a bridesmaid in Tamra’s wedding. It’s tough to believe that Tamra didn’t consider her to be a close friend. Come on. Is she rewriting history with this statement or is it the truth?

I want to believe Gillian Anderson just gave us the best throwback photo ever. Anderson, who is currently filming the second season of The X-Files revival, so that would be season 11 total, shared...Move over Dallas and Jersey, there’s a whole new train wreck rolling in to BravoLand! The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back this weekend and things are as rocky as ever! Kenya Moore is kicking off the fireworks as she does press for the show this week, telling Us Magazine about Kim Zolciak‘s return: “The truth is, no one is excited for Kim to be back on the show.”
Kenya is frustrated over her spat with Kim, sharing that she was initially glad for Kim to come back but that feeling didn’t last long at all. “I’ve said, ‘I like Kim, I know that she’s not on the show anymore but she seems like a straightforward girl and I like a girl who’s straightforward. Flash forward to her just basically going out in the world and saying she hates me and all these terrible things.”
Their argument stems from Kim‘s tacky comments about her kids, “the whole world saw her go online and say, ‘Who does Brielle have to blow to get John Legend tickets?’ That’s her daughter. And you’re talking about a sexual act just to get tickets, so that is what I said to Kim.”
Kenya says, “I don’t understand Kim, I don’t think I ever will and I really don’t like what I’ve seen of her because I was a fan.”
Kim followed up with Us Magazine to share her feelings about Kenya‘s comments, including her slam of Kim for smoking while pregnant. “She doesn’t know me. She didn’t know me pregnant. I can count on two hands how many times I’ve been around this lady, and it’s never once been without a camera. She has no idea who I am. She’s a fan. She reads about me.”
This is shaping up to be a hell of a season and it looks like Kim is going to be battling with everyone!

Next stop, the revival of The Twilight...The new season of Real Housewives of New Jersey has been off to a dramatic start and Teresa Giudice is weighing in on some of the mess that we’ve seen so far. She shares her thoughts on newbie Margaret Josephs, on Siggy Flicker‘s hostility over the cake disrespecting, and on Danielle Staub‘s return to the show.
On Danielle’s return to the show, Teresa claims she’s excited to finally get to know the real Danielle. “I think it’s great. I never really got the chance to know her last time because she had people in her ear; I had people in my ear; so it was just really about finding time. Now this season, we finally have the chance to sit down together and start our friendship, so you’ll start seeing us getting together much more.”
Teresa isn’t taking sides in the Dolores-Danielle spat. Since she wasn’t there, she’s staying out of it. “Well, I wasn’t present when the two of them had the discussion which then led to the argument. It’s one of those situations where they are both denying it. Danielle says one thing, Dolores says another. Only those two will ever know what actually happened, but you will definitely see that playing out this season.”
On newcomer Margaret Josephs, she says “I think Margaret is great. She’s such a strong woman and I really am happy that she is a part of season 8. I feel like she’s powerful and really brings something to season 8. There is drama though that happens with Margaret; she doesn’t stay quiet for long and she shows she’s got an opinion. I really like that because you don’t want people to walk all over you. She is very quick on her feet.”
Teresa admits that she still doesn’t see what the big deal was about the cake throwing incident. She shared, “I don’t see what the problem was [at all], it’s not like we ruined the cake; we did eat the cake anyways so who cares? The only reason I threw it was because Melissa kept going on at me, so I wanted to throw it!”
She says we can expect some new projects from her very soon. “My team and I are working on building my empire back up, so as soon as I’m able to share new projects I will! There are definitely things coming up so you’ll just have to wait and see!”

Despite this week’s drama filled episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Lydia McLaughlin is trying to find the positive in each situation.
She shares in her new blog why she chose to pray out in the hallway during Vicki Gunvalson‘s health crisis. “It is never fun seeing people you love sick, and seeing Vicki getting rushed off to the hospital was traumatic. I walked out of my room to meet the girls for dinner, and I saw an ambulance and police cars, and I was shocked. I rushed up to the girls’ rooms and couldn’t believe everything that was happening. Peggy was so stressed out and looked so worried and it made me super nervous. When things feel out of my control, I pray. It gives me peace and centers me. I know some of the girls are believers, and I just felt Vicki needed prayers in that situation. We were not allowed into Vicki’s room and I had no idea what was going on with her. Prayers were the only thing I could offer to try and support her in that situation.”
Lydia says she wasn’t mad at the other women for grabbing dinner instead of rushing to the hospital, but as the hostess of the trip, she felt she needed to be with Vicki. “The hospital was over an hour away from the hotel. When Vicki left in the ambulance, they wouldn’t let any of us ride with her. I quickly called for a car and went to my room to grab a coat. When I got to the table and the girls wanted to eat, I was fine with that. I just wanted to get to the hospital. I was the host and my friend left in an ambulance, so of course I was going to go to be with her.”
She was grateful for Peggy Sulahian coming along and feels that she truly cares for Vicki. But she was frustrated that Peggy chose to hole up in her room and not communicate the next day. “It was so nice to have Peggy join me at the hospital. She really cares about Vicki and is a good friend. Once we got back to the hotel, I was exhausted. We had climbed a glacier, rode ATVs and had such a full day, all I could think about was my bed. The next morning when Peggy wouldn’t join us, I was confused. I had last seen her thinking she was off to bed too and everything was fine. I was getting frustrated as the day progressed since she wasn’t communicating with me. Obviously a lot happened while I was sleeping!”
Lydia says she feels all warm and fuzzy for the rekindled friendship of Tamricki. “It makes me so happy to see Vicki and Tamra together. I can’t believe I wasn’t there to see the breakthrough moment, but watching it on this episode warms my heart. You can see how much pain they have both have experienced, but their love and friendship finally wins out. Shannon and I started getting along as well in Iceland, and I have a lot of memories laughing with her.”
Good for Lydia trying to keep focused on the positive aspects of the trip, but how long can it last?
