Married At First Sight Recap: – Whole Wife For A Whole Life?

Married At First Sight is starting to get interesting. We are finally getting to see a little more about each person’s personality and how they interact with their spouse. I am ready to get to the honeymoon phase. Everyone knows that is when things really start getting real. Right now everyone is being polite and nice. I can’t wait to see how some of these couples’ journeys unfold.

With one wedding down and four to go, the soon-to-be spouses anxiously prepare to say “I do” to a stranger.  However, when one groom gets terrible news, a wedding has to be postponed for the first time in Married at First Sight history. I have to admit I see some chemistry with this cast. Who knows how that will that will play out later, but right now it is encouraging.  Let’s get straight to the recap.

Stacia and Nate

Stacia and Nate are the next couple to take the big leap. Both seem nervous, but just as excited to walk down the aisle. After a quick ceremony, they have some time to get to know one another. So far, they are impressed to learn they both have an entrepreneurial spirit. Stacia also reveals that she likes her home to be uncomfortably clean. Later, Nate doesn’t waste any time getting some kisses during their wedding pictures. I can feel the chemistry through the screen. Whew!  I can’t lie, they make a handsome couple.  But I am still suspicious of him, after that bachelor party.

 

Alexis and Justin

 

Now that Alexis and Justin are married, they seem to be a lot more comfortable around one another. They even share a kiss on the dance floor. But time stops for Alexis when she learns her husband has been celibate for quite a while.  Don’t worry; I’m sure he still remembers how things work. LMAO! I am looking forward to see how these two interact as they get to know one another. I wouldn’t think that Justin would be Alexis’ type, but she seems open to get to know him. But it is obvious he is smitten with his wife already. If they both remain open and truly work on a relationship, they may have a real chance.

 

Lindy and Miguel

Lindy and Miguel are both feeling the pressure to find some common ground with their spouse. As much as they want to be married, they are also nervous about what comes with being in a new relationship. As expected, both are worried about whether they will get along or are they making a huge mistake Miguel really hopes his wife will accept his gaming lifestyle. But once they both see each other at the altar, Lindy gives her groom a sweet hug.

After the wedding, the newlyweds share some champagne and conversation. Miguel immediately jumps into talk of dungeons and dragons. He even brought out a prop to make his point. Insert side eye here. I thought this was when things would fall apart. But in a post interview, Lindy says she thought it was cute that he has a nerdy hobby. Maybe the experts matched him with the right girl. When she learns that Miguel is a doctor and able to travel, she can’t hide her excitement. Okay, I like these two so far. I can’t wait to see where this goes in the future.

 

Krysten and Mitch

Krysten still hasn’t told her dad why she has him flying across the country to meet with her. She seeks the counsel of her bridesmaids for advice on how to break the news when arrives. Meanwhile, Mitch is having a diva moment when he feels like his barber cut too much of his beard. This is why you don’t have a new stylist the same day as an important event. If he is that particular, he should have arranged to have everything done before his wedding day.  Sigh! I actually think he looks nice. Let’s hope it’s just his nerves and he isn’t prone to flying off the handle. Krysten’s dad finally arrives to what he finds out is her wedding and is shocked. I guess we will have to wait to see if he will support his daughter.

 

Morgan and Binh

Morgan gets devastating news when she learns that her wedding will be postponed. Binh contracted COVID, so it wouldn’t be safe for him to attend a gathering. Naturally, Morgan is disappointed, but she has so many thoughts in her mind. She is worried for his health, but can’t help but wonder did he have cold feet and lie to get out of the ceremony. I would really hope someone who signed up for this show wouldn’t do that just to buy time. I can also see how her mind would race with all types of thoughts when her wedding was only a few days away. But I’m sure Binh is actually sick and hopefully he makes a quick recovery.

Top 5 Takeaways From Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Season 12 Episode 10

There’s something about the ladies of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that always draws me in. No matter who is in the cast, this city always captures my attention. This season is no different, with the exception of Diana Jenkins. She can go.

The Housewarming Party Drama Continues

It’s revolting for anyone to question someone’s miscarriages. Also, why does Lisa Rinna ride so hard for Diana? Is she doing her dirty work? Think about the people that Diana’s targeted so far.

Sutton Stracke thought she left the party in a better place with Diana, but she was wrong. Diana is colder than Erika Jayne has ever been, and she wasted no time taking the title of ice queen away from her. I’ve never seen someone so disinterested in being a part of the group.

Garcelle Beauvais accuses Kyle Richards of jumping ship at the party. I wouldn’t say jumping ship. Kyle and Sutton have been in a weird place all season, so it’s not surprising.

The only non-drama portion of the party was everyone meeting Sutton’s Bumble match. She’s back in the dating pool, and they’re making it so awkward.

Garcelle conversed with Erika at Sutton’s party, and Kyle jumped in again. Why does Kyle have to interject herself into everyone’s business? Worry about yourself. Be neutral, and keep your mouth shut.

Garcelle vs. Erika

Garcelle noticed at Sutton’s party that Erika’s alcohol intake was skyrocketing again. She doesn’t want her children being disrespected by Erika, and being drunk isn’t an acceptable excuse.

Erika crossed the line, and thankfully she took full responsibility for her actions and apologized. She tells Garcelle it wasn’t vicious, but it was wrong nonetheless. Regardless of anyone trying to say otherwise, this isn’t okay.

Garcelle’s annoyed with Erika following all of this drama, but Erika scores point with her at Sutton’s party. She compliments her ability as a mother who does it independently and coming from another mother who did the same meant a lot to Garcelle.

Garcelle mentions to Kyle later in the episode that Erika’s drinking is a lot. Kyle’s doing her damndest to stick up for her friend, though. In Garcelle’s defense, there’s a pattern developing with Erika. I’m not sure I agree with Garcelle about it being a gateway to alcoholism, and it seems like it’s taking things a step too far.

There’s so much more to come between the two of them. Garcelle isn’t here to coddle and protect Erika’s feelings. She’ll call it as she sees it, and Erika’s giving her plenty to work with.

Kyle & Dorit’s Sweet Friendship

You don’t often see a genuine friendship on reality television. However, that’s precisely what we’ve witnessed over the last six seasons with Kyle and Dorit Kemsley; they’re there for each other at every moment.

Watching Kyle have Dorit and her family over for Hanuakku was sweet. Dorit’s going through the most challenging time of her life, and she needs all the love and support she can get. She almost lost her life during the home invasion, so anything beyond that moment is precious.

Some people rag on Kyle and Dorit (some valid reasons are at play), but it’s still rare to see a genuine friendship like that. They often hang out together off-camera, so you know it’s not just for TV ratings. Having Dorit over for a holiday to ensure she’s feeling loved and safe was a marvelous thing Kyle and her family could’ve done.

That said, it would be nice to see more depth to Dorit this season beyond the robbery. It’s all she’s talking about, and while I understand the trauma, she can’t use it as a crutch.

Diana Is The Worst Beverly Hills Housewife Of All Time

This is a bold statement, but after watching this episode, it’s my takeaway. She’s not relatable in any way, and nothing that comes out of her mouth is anything the average viewer at home can understand. There’s living an affluent lifestyle, and then there’s Diana acting like hers is above everyone else.

On top of that, Diana’s extremely uninteresting in associating with anyone in the group. She appears on the verge of getting close to Erika, but that’s not giving you leverage on this show. A large percentage of the viewers hate her.

Later in the episode, she meets with Erika, who fills her in on where Sutton’s at with this. These two are forming an unholy alliance to go up against everyone else, and there’s no telling what chaos they’re planning on reigning down on the group.

Sutton & Diana’s Tense Lunch

It’s an understatement to say that Sutton and Diana have two different ideas of what state they’re in. The lunch starts awkwardly because they go back to the beginning, kicking it off when Diana says Sutton is clumsy with her words.

However, things are different now. Diana believes Sutton has malicious intent behind the words coming out of her mouth. She feels provoked by Sutton at this point, but Sutton has her issues, and she thinks Diana was mocking her past miscarriages.

Both women are hurt. Diana saying she needs professional help communicating with Sutton made me chuckle more than it should have. I’m firmly on Sutton’s side with this, but Diana’s no fucks given attitude is hilarious to watch in action.

Sutton was not doing tit for tat the way Diana’s making it out to be. Their conversation went nowhere because Diana wasn’t serious about making amends. She even admitted being fake when she hugged her at Garcelle’s party. This was so weird to watch.

You know it isn’t lovely when Sutton says she’d rather be with Erika over Diana any day. The lunch ends with Sutton walking away and eliminating herself from the fuckery it was. What a whirlwind.

Early 2000’s Reality Television Shows We Miss!

Often when times are tough our minds will wander back to peaceful and comforting memories. Maybe it’s remembering Nana’s crocheted blanket, maybe it’s recalling loving family vacations. For some of us, it’s revisiting the Dawn of Reality Television, aka, early America’s Next Top Model. WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU, HOW DARE YOU! Studies (my personal studies) have shown binge-watching old favorites is serotonin at this point, occupying our minds for brief moments and providing a buffer for the unpleasantness we may be experiencing. So let’s get busy.

Currently Bravo has cornered the market on reality television because Real Housewives blossomed into a whole thing. But Bravo definitely did not start out with a client list of criminals, alcoholics, and people you wouldn’t want watching your kids. Per Wikipedia, “the channel originally focused on programming related to fine arts and film”. I think we can all agree it has drifted far, far away from the original concept.

If you want to talk “early” reality television, you have to look beyond Bravo and back to the old days. Like MTV old days – it used to be a music channel! MTV always had a stake in the game thanks to The Real World series, but in 2002 everything changed when Ozzy Osbourne and his family signed on for a show. The Osbournes (2002-2005) was a glorious display of an incredibly famous legend and his family who walked around sans glam, fully committed to the F-word, and provided an actual insight into what their lives were like. Sharon Osbourne throwing a ham into someone’s yard lives rent-free in my brain forever.

MTV also introduced Gen X and Elder Millennials to Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica. From 2003 to 2005, we watched these two crazy kids navigate marriage and the brutal world of having Joe Simpson as a father the music industry. While Jessica Simpson’s career soared, poor Nick Lachey was often left doing handywork around their Calabasas home or singing back-up on one of Jessica’s albums. Priceless stuff, highly recommend.

Bravo woke up around 2003 and blessed us with Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. A group of stunning gay men using their industry powers and turning straight, feral guys into people you would go out in public with. While Carson Kressley might be the most famous spawn of the original show, it gave Extreme Makeover: Home Edition but with people, compassion, and actual results.

If you legitimately need to block out the world, find The Anna Nicole Show. It originally aired on E! and was… a journey. From 2002 to 2004, viewers were held captive by Anna and her incredibly bizarre antics. I dare say television has not been the same since this show was created. Go ahead and piggyback Being Bobby Brown, which appeared in 2005 on Bravo. BOBBBBAAAAY! Bobby Brown and Queen Whitney Houston should have NEVER EVER agreed to do this show. There are lessons to be learned in the content of this program, IYKYK.

The A&E channel, which is supposed to be Arts and Entertainment, was less about art when it introduced Growing Up Gotti. In 2004 we learned Victoria Gotti liked wearing white and super-long hair extensions. Speaking in a monotone was preferred and the downfall of society could be seen in the faces of her three boys. Ah, we were so innocent back then.

Obviously we can’t cover ALL of the early 2000’s in one article, but this is a good start. At least we have options to watch old favorites whilst hiding under a blanket.

90 Day Fiancé’s Pedro Jimeno Claims Chantel Everett Took 275K From Their Accounts 5 Days Before Separating

There may be no turning back now for TLC’s favorite 90-day Fiancé couple Pedro Jimeno and Chantel Everett.  TMZ reports that the two are headed for divorce court, as Pedro has filed for divorce after 6 years of marriage to Chantel. The newest season of the 90-day spin off The Family Chantel has foreshadowed their marriage being on the rocks, and when there’s smoke with reality couples, there’s usually fire.

In the court documents filed by Pedro in May, Pedro described his and Chantel’s marriage as “irretrievably broken” and noted the two had separated one month earlier. Unfortunately, in typical 90-day fiancé fashion, it’s not looking like an amicable split either!

On the same day that Pedro filed for divorce, he filed an order for an emergency hearing, claiming Chantel withdrew 275k from their joint business account just 5 days before their split. He then alleges that Chantel transferred that cash into an account in Chantel’s and her sister’s Winter Everett’s name.

Pedro alleges he tried unsuccessfully to resolve the issue and is therefore asking the judge to force Chantel to transfer the money back into a joint account until the divorce is settled. The judge denied Pedro’s request for the emergency hearing but intends to hold a hearing later to address the siphoned funds.

Pedro is asking for half of all the marital assets between them. At this time, the case is ongoing and Chantel’s lawyer Jarett R Sliz has declined to comment. Viewers have certainly been prepped for this fall out, with recent episodes showing the two openly at odds, disconnected, and Chantel even asking Pedro point blank if he’s been cheating on her.

We’d wager we’ll get Chantel’s perspective soon enough, as The family Chantel never fails to capitalize on the family’s dirty laundry. Familial drama is after all, the very bankable premise of the show. It’s that vulnerability coupled with complicated family issues that’s made the two such a gold mine for TLC and a true standout in the 90 Day Fiancé series.

Regardless of what happened, we hope these two get back on good terms. we’re not ready to accept a reality world where we don’t get to hear Pedro and Chantel using their affectionate pet names for each other on our tv screens: Pinky Winky (Chantel) and Pepe Wepe (Pedro).

Andy Cohen Reacts To Jen Shah Pleading Guilty To Fraud

The reactions are starting to roll in. After asserting her innocence for months, Jen Shah did an about face and plead guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud. This comes just days before her trial, which was scheduled for July 18th. Jen held a surprise court appearance to plead guilty to the count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. The charges were in connection to an alleged telemarketing scheme that spanned years. The U.S. attorney prosecuting the case dropped the separate money laundering charge against the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star.

As reported by People, Andy Cohen shared his feelings on the latest episode of his SiriusXM show Radio Andy. He told guest Jonah Hill, “I don’t know how to feel about this, Jen Shah pleading guilty.” Jonah replied, “Right, well, when you say you’re guilty of something, it maybe means you’re guilty.” Andy countered, “All it means is she’s changing her plea.”

The Bravo executive admitted that he has become close to Jen, further complicating his feelings. He even revealed that Jen surprised his newborn daughter with a gift. Said Andy, “And I was like, ‘Jen Shah, with everything you have going on, that you thought to send to send Lucy a gift. I just thought that was so nice of her.”

A listener then called into the show to compare Jen to Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice. Teresa famously plead guilty to fraud back in 2014. Andy didn’t have the same take. He explained, “I also think what I’ve found regarding viewer response to some of these moments that have happened, some of the viewers are more outraged when there are — you know, when you look at Tom Girardi and what it looks like he did — actual victims that you can look at.” He added, “When you look at Joe Giudice defrauding the government of some tax money, I think you wind up getting more upset when you know that there are victims.”

In March of 2021, during production on season 2 of RHOSLC, Jen and her assistant, Stuart Smith, were arrested. While they both originally plead not guilty to the charges, Stuart was the first one to change his plea to guilty. He did so back in November of last year, causing speculation that he would “flip” on Jen. Stuart is currently free on bail and is awaiting his sentencing. He faces a maximum of 70 years in prison for his role in the telemarking scheme.

A Twitter thread from Inner City Press’s Matthew Russell Lee broke down what happened in court. Jen told Judge Sidney H. Stein that she had committed “wire fraud, offering services with little to no value.” She continued, “We used interstate telephones and emails. I knew many of the purchasers were over the age of 55. I am so sorry.”

 Jen also admitted that she had offered “misrepresentations, regarding the value of the product or service, of which it had little to none.” Jen went on to say that what she did was “wrong and illegal.”

So what does this mean for Jen? Her not guilty plea means she won’t have to stand trial. But she faces a maximum of up to 30 years in prison. In addition, she agreed to not appeal if she is sentenced to “168 months’ prison or few.” Which equates to 14 years.

Priya Chaudhry, one of Jen’s attorneys, told People, “Ms. Shah is a good woman who crossed a line. She accepts full responsibility for her actions and deeply apologizes to all who have been harmed. Ms. Shah is also sorry for disappointing her husband, children, family, friends, and supporters. Jen pled guilty because she wants to pay her debt to society and put this ordeal behind her and her family.”

But despite her legal issues, Jen will still appear on the upcoming season of RHOSLC said a source. The insider dished, “She’s had Meredith [Marks] and Heather [Gay] by her side, who have been very supportive of their friend during a difficult time. Obviously her legal troubles have not been easy for Jen, let alone making this decision to plead guilty.” The insider noted that her case is “a very big part of Jen’s story.” They added, “Producers don’t want us to stop following it now. They’ll keep filming with her as long as they can, just like they did with Teresa.”

Jen is out on bail and will face sentencing on November 28th of this year. In her plea, Jen asked for only 11 to 14 years in prison. In addition, she will pay restitution of up to $9.5 million.

Kyle Richards Explains Why She Doesn’t Have A Wardrobe Stylist

Glam and wardrobe is a hot topic when it comes to the world of Housewives. And it’s most apparent on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The show has consistently served the most expensive and debatably stylish looks. Take Dorit Kemsley, who is the fashion queen of the show. While some of her choices might be questionable, she always shows out in a look styled from head to toe.

Despite the pressure to keep up, Kyle Richards just isn’t interested. As reported by Reality Blurb, she recently shared with Hello! that she doesn’t use a stylist. Kyle said, “I’m sure people are like, ‘Yeah you can tell!’ but no, never had one. I don’t travel with a glam squad either. When I’m working, I like to be well put together, I like colour. I go with my mood. Some days I want to be conservative, some days more edgy.”

Which serves her well on cast trips too. Kyle noted, “When I go on trips I feel like I do better. So when I’m away with the show on a trip, I’m like, ‘OK – this is our itinerary’, so I do my best, so I can really think something out. Plus, my husband isn’t with me, so he’s not judging me on how much luggage I’m bringing!”

Given how seriously her castmates take their style and glam, it’s caused fights in the past. Kyle previously came after Dorit for showing up late to Teddi Mellencamp’s workout camp in full glam. Kyle said in part, “I didn’t get the coming late for glam especially when it was an exercise and meditation retreat.” She added, “If she did not want to show up on time for Teddi I would have thought she would at least have to [show up] on time for her commitment to RHOBH. Like we all had to …”

But Kyle also contradicted herself the same season when she referred to Denise Richards, who was notoriously low-key about her style, a “ragamuffin.” Kyle ended up backtracking for presumably being vapid and horrible.

She said to Denise on social media,“Denise, you are absolutely beautiful. There is no doubt about it. I was exhausted, emotional, & felt everyone was coming at me. I got upset because I thought you of all people would get what I was saying because you yourself say you don’t get the glam thing and just wear a messy top knot. So, I didn’t get the sudden change.  With that said, I still regret the comment and was not the best version of myself that night.”

So whose style does Kyle admire? She confessed, “I love JLo, I love her style, but I also love Jennifer Aniston, and she’s more classic and simple. They are completely opposite, but I love them both.”

Clayton Echard “Embarrassed And Disgusted” By His Actions On The Bachelor

Clayton Echard is claiming he got the “villain edit” and was “portrayed unfairly” during his season of The Bachelor. He may have a point, but I’ve always heard that they can’t show what he didn’t actually say or do. Villain? Maybe. Worst Bachelor ever? Definitely in the running.

“Watching [the season] back, I was embarrassed and disgusted by my actions and the way I was portrayed or seen on TV,” said Clayton, who was one of the least popular leads in recent years, in a recent Page Six article.

He went on to say, “Ultimately, I had to live with the fact that my narrative is what was shown. And that was hard because that’s not really who I am.

“I don’t feel that what I was on the show is who I truthfully am but I did those things, I became that person.”

Clayton further called his season “a train wreck” and added that he was “shocked” that “drama was prioritized over the love story.” Has he seen this show? They almost always prioritize drama over any love story. They’re making TV here. The love story may not (probably won’t) last, but everybody remembers the drama.

During the infamous “Fantasy Suite” episode, Clayton told each of his three finalists — Susie Evans, Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia — that he was in love with them, as viewers across the country were screaming at their TVs, “Dude, no! Did you learn nothing from Ben Higgins?!”

Furthermore, when he revealed to Susie that he had slept with both of the other two women after she told him that any intimacy with the other women would be a deal breaker for her, she abruptly left the show.

Distraught by her departure, former NFL player Clayton then immediately broke up with both Gabby and Rachel (who are co-leads on this season’s The Bachelorette), leaving viewers wondering how the show could continue, since there was nobody left to whom The Bachelor could offer a rose.

Susie and Clayton eventually rekindled their romance and went public with their relationship during the show’s reunion, “After the Final Rose.” But by that time, Clayton had lost the sympathies of most of his audience, and their pairing as a couple was pretty much anticlimactic.

To many fans, Clayton‘s turn as The Bachelor was pretty disappointing, to say the least. Most of us were ready to put him in our rear view mirrors and move onto the next season of exotic locations, champagne and roses.

Clayton may not have been a villain, but he was definitely a thorn among the roses.

Bethenny Frankel Is Returning To TV To Host A New Show With Kevin O’Leary

If you are missing Bethenny Frankel on your screen, I have good news for you. The former Real Housewives of New York cast member and Bravo icon is planning to make a return to TV. Unfortunately, it won’t be Housewives related.

As reported by E! News, Bethenny is going to team up with Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary. She will join him as a co-host on his CNBC show Money Court. Bethenny has previously appeared as a guest investor on Shark Tank. On the show, she was tasked with whether or not she wanted to invest in wanna be entrepreneur’s businesses.

But on Money Court, Bethenny and Kevin will help other business owners settle their financial issues and disputes. Bethenny released a statement, calling the show her “best television experience to date.” She added, “The range in reviewing small businesses where everything is on the line to the riskiest hundred-million-dollar conflicts, the stakes couldn’t be higher.”

She then spoke of the show in a broader sense. Bethenny stated, “We really are saving small and large businesses alike. Our sum is greater than its parts. There is nothing like this on television, and America needs a show that exhibits how to resolve business conflict in a creative, tactical, strategic and methodical manner.”

Bethenny is arguably the most well known and inarguably the most successful Housewife ever. But she has yet to have a real hit outside of Bravo. Her 2014 daytime talk show only lasted one season before it was cancelled. And her latest TV venture, HBO Max’s The Big Shot with Bethenny, struggled to pull viewers.

The new show is likely a big disappointment for Housewives fans, who were hoping she would come back for a RHONY reboot. Andy Cohen announced back in March that RHONY would add a Legacy series, hoping to bring back former RHONY all-stars. Of course, Bethenny was on their speed dial. But so far, she’s not interested.

She shared, “I got a text from, you know, the powers that be in the Bravosphere saying, ‘Is there a chance? Is there a chance? Just asking, is there a chance?’ Meaning, would I come back.” She noted on her podcast that she “didn’t really understand” what it was supposed to be. And called it a “half-baked announcement.” Bethenny concluded, “When asked, I say, ‘There’s a number, but I don’t think you can afford it.'”

Botched Star And Real Housewives Alum Dr. Paul Nassif’s Brother Died “Unexpectedly”

Some sad news is coming out of the reality tv world. Dr. Paul Nassif was one of my favorite Real Housewives husbands. He was featured prominently on the early seasons of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with his then-wife, Adrienne Maloof. The couple bickered their way through the show and split in 2012. Despite their constant fighting, I really enjoyed Paul’s funny and sometimes bewildered commentary about their spats. And while the divorce was originally very contentious, Adrienne revealed back in 2020 that the two are now good friends.

Paul has since moved on in his personal and professional life, starring with Dr. Terry Dubrow on the hit show Botched. But his personal life has taken as sad turn. Page Six is reporting that Paul announced that his older brother, Chris Nassif, has passed away. He was 62. The cause of death has yet to be released.

Paul took to Instagram to share the tragic news with his 1.2 million followers. He posted a photo of Chris and started, “Yesterday I lost my big brother, unexpectedly. Words can’t begin to describe the loss that my family, his friends and I are feeling right now. Chris Nassif was, and always will be, a legend. Nowadays, our world is obsessed with super heroes, but growing up… he was mine.”

He went on to discuss Chris’ success running his own talent agency. Some of the stars he represented included Sofia Vergara and Ricky Martin. Paul added, “More recently, he became a successful producer, where he produced a variety of films and was still working on numerous promising projects in the film and television landscapes.”

The grief-stricken Paul continued, “When push comes to shove, there is no one on this planet that will have your back like your big brother. Please keep our family in your prayers during this unimaginably difficult time. Remember that you never know when you could lose someone who means everything to you, so never take a moment for granted.” He concluded, “I only had one brother, and he was the best brother I could’ve hoped for. He helped raise me. I know that I wouldn’t be the man I am today if it wasn’t for him. I love you always my brother @cnassif59.”

In addition to his work in Hollywood, Chris also worked in law enforcement. He served as a reserve deputy for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He was also on reserve status with the Inglewood Police Department. We are extended our condolences to Paul and his family while they mourn this tragic loss.

Love Is Blind Alum Shaina Hurley Is Married

Love at last! The last season of Love Is Blind didn’t exactly produce the healthiest pairings. One of those being the mismatched Shaina Hurley and Kyle Abrams. While Shaina accepted Kyle’s marriage proposal, she dumped him before they even made it to the alter. But she quickly found happiness off screen.

TMZ is now reporting that Shaina got married. Held at a Chicago courthouse, Shaina tied the knot with fiance Christos Lardakis. the couple were joined by just Christos’ daughter and a close friend. Sources say that both sets of parents gave their blessing for the tiny affair. But the low-key wedding was so the two could make it legal to have a much larger blow-out in Greece. The newlyweds are allegedly planning and traditional Greek wedding later this month.

Shaina and Christos got engaged back in March. A source revealed at the time, “Shaina is engaged. She’s been dating Christos for almost a year and this is the happiest I’ve ever seen her. He has stood by her side through all of the Love Is Blind drama and has been her steady in the storm.” The unidentified source also added that Shaina is “such a sweetheart and has found a man who loves her and understands her.”

On an episode of the podcast, Viall Files, Shaina explained just how supportive Christos was while Love is Blind aired. She revealed, “I’m actually in a relationship. It’s pretty serious.” She added of Christos, “he’s been great throughout the whole situation. I’m happy,” and has shown her “nothing but support.”

Prior to her confirming the relationship, Shaina had posted a picture of them on her Instagram just a few days earlier. She shared a photo of the two in bathing suits while they vacationed in Greece. She told her 218K followers, “My ride or die forever.”

As for her time on Love is Blind, Shaina is likely happy to put it in her past. She previously shared, “There’s some regrets. I just wish I was a little bit more forthright from the beginning [and] kind of prepared myself more, but can you prepare yourself? Besides that, no, it was an amazing experience.”

Former Cheer Star Jerry Harris Sentenced To 12 Years In Federal Prison After Pleading Guilty To Charges Of Sexual Abuse And Child Pornography

Netflix’s docuseries Cheer debuted in January of 2020 and the show following the competitive world of cheerleading quickly became a hit. And no one was more beloved on the show than Jerry Harris. The always positive cheerleader was so popular, he nabbed a correspondent gig for the Oscars.

But by September of 2020, Jerry’s star was tarnished and he quickly fell from grace. Two teenage brothers sued Jerry, alleging that he solicited sex and nude photos from them. They were 13 years old at the time of the incident. Later that week, Jerry was arrested on suspicion of child pornography. Then three months later, a seven-count indictment was issued against him. The indictment accused Jerry of multiple sexual criminal acts across multiple states. They acts all involving minors. He pleaded not guilty to all counts.

Now People is reporting that Jerry was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison. His sentence comes after changing his plea to guilty on 2 of the 7 counts. Jerry appeared in court for the sentencing and was joined by close family and friends. Once Jerry serves his 12 years, he is ordered to complete 8 years of court-supervised release.

Prosecutors wanted Jerry to serve 15 years, NBC News reported. They alleged that he used “his status as a competitive cheerleader, his social media persona, and eventually his celebrity and money” to convince minor boys to send him sexually inappropriate photos and messages. Prosecutors also argued that Jerry proclaimed himself to be “mentor who could be trusted.” And that he paid his victims for sexual conduct. If they declined, he allegedly “threatened to disseminate the videos they had sent if they refused to continue.”

Jerry’s legal team requested a more lenient sentence of 6 years. They pointed to the fact that Jerry suffered sexual abuse himself. They claim that he was also underage at the time of his abuse, which caused him to have a “skewed version of what he understood to be appropriate relationships.” Jerry’s lawyers have not yet responded for comment.

In accordance with the plea deal with prosecutors, the other 5 charges were dropped, The New York Times reported. Back when he changed his plea, Jerry defense team told People about his decision to plead guilty. They stated he did it “because he wishes to take responsibility for his actions and publicly convey his remorse for the harm he has caused the victims in this case.”

His team added, “Jerry is a 22-year-old young man whose story can only be understood through the lens of the extreme poverty, sexual abuse, and neglect of his childhood. Jerry was himself exploited, manipulated, and sexually abused as a child within the cheer community in a way that perversely made him believe that this sexual conduct was somehow normal when it was not.”

See Who Is Part Of The Rumored Cast For Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 3

We are only a few episodes into the second installment of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Set at Dorinda Medley’s Blue Stone Manor, the women of RHUGT Ex-Wives Club have steadily delivered their own special brand of drama. While I didn’t originally enjoy it as much as RHUGT season 1, the last episode won me over. And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention one of the funniest moments across any franchise EVER.

When Phaedra Parks comforted an upset Brandi Glanville for fighting with Dorinda. Phaedra told Brandi that she shouldn’t be fighting with Dorinda because she’s old enough to be her “momma.” Brandi told her that Dorinda is only 5 years older, to which the two dissolved into giggles as a shocked Phaedra said “my bad.” Cut to the bartender serving them drinks barely containing his laughter. I haven’t laughed that hard at Housewives in forever.

Well, more is coming. Radar Online is reporting on the new rumored cast for season 3, which will supposedly be set in Thailand. You know Vicki Gunvalson has to be pissed that she got stuck at Blue Stone instead. I guess she should have held out a little longer.

Again, I’m going to emphasize that nothing has been confirmed and these are still rumors. But these are the ladies that have been circulating amongst sources. And we are sensing another theme here – franchise partners! I don’t know if I would go as far as saying franchise besties, but casting got pretty close.

First up are Real Housewives of Potomac stars Gizelle Bryant and Candiace Dillard-Bassett. With Gizelle’s heavy shade and Candiace’s no holds barred manner of fighting, they are sure to make RHUGT interesting. Then we have Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cousins, Heather Gay and Whitney Rose. While I do enjoy Heather, Whitney brings little to the table for me. She’s been fighting for scraps of just one argument on RHOSLC and never gets anywhere. Maybe she will have better luck in a different setting but I’m not hopeful. At least she will be fun, right?

Next up are the revived ladies of Real Housewives of Miami. Longtime besties Alexia Echevarria and Marysol Patton supposedly made the cut. I can’t stand Marysol but I would watch just about anything Alexia is in. Anything. Finally, looks like Real Housewives of New York stars will reunite in the form of Leah McSweeney and Tinsley Mortimer. While Leah is high drama for sure, I’m not sure how I feel about Tinsdale being thrown into this environment. She’s fresh off a broken engagement, so maybe she can work out her anger on the show. But I worry she will be bulldozed by the larger personalities and Leah isn’t exactly the best ally for anyone. Regardless, I do love my Tinsley!

Production is also rumored to be starting this month, possibly within the next week. I will be anxiously watching all the Housewives’ social medias to see if they tease a trip. No matter who is announced, I’m going to watch. Andy Cohen once famously said (and I’m paraphrasing) that doing Housewives All-Stars shows would be the death of Real Housewives. But to me, it’s bringing desperately needed new life (and drama) to a reality tv institution. Happy watching!

Real Housewives of Atlanta Mid-Season Trailer Is Here: It’s All About Shereé Whitfield

Come on now, please don’t say that Shereé Whitfield is facing even more fashion show problems.

I mean we cannot forget back in 2009 when Shereè of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, held the infamous “fashion show with no fashions.” The Cleveland-native-turned-Atlanta-get-it-girl debuted as one of the original cast members back at the inception of the show, and across the years the only thing that she has spent more time “being checked for” than her home Chateau Sheree’ is her fashion line- She By Sheree.

As shared by E! News, the Season 14 RHOA mid-season trailer has been released and from the looks of things, it does not disappoint. There’s some drama between Drew Sidora and Sanya Richards-Ross and more to the whole riff going on between Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, and Marlo Hampton. Drew is still tugging on Sheree’s joggers with the money stuff. But most importantly, in the trailer we can see it is finally showtime for the release of Sheree’s She By Sheree collection.

“He does not have the number of pieces he said he was gonna have,” someone reluctantly breaks it to Shereé at the very moment the fashions are being loaded into the event. Undoubtedly, Shereé is not having it at all. “Are you f*cking kidding me,” she unloads. “This cannot be another one of those f*cking times.”

The official bone-collector of RHOA pleads, “I got so much riding on this.” All while her co-stars throw all kinds of shade. First up, in comes Kenya, “all of Atlanta is waiting for this show…She By She better not disappoint.” Some shade from Drew, “She By She better have something to show for it.” Then Kandi chimes in with, “She By She better really do it this time.”

Aside from the fashion show fiasco, Shereé also finally sees her ex-boyfriend Tyrone Gilliams for the first time after he stood her up in Philadelphia. We see her confronting him with, “no nothing? …I was f*cking humiliated!” Shereé isn’t the only one catching it this season. We see Kandi and Marlo arguing multiple times. After Marlo insults Kandi’s husband Todd Tucker, Kandi snaps back with, “Get a husband and then you can tell me what to do with one.” Fast forwarding to another argument between the two, we see Kandi remind Marlo that “I’m not Michelle Obama. You go low, I go low with you.”

Tyrone, Apollo Nida, Peter Thomas, Bob Whitfield and the guest of honor- Dwight Eubanks! Shereé is really bringing everyone out the woodwork for this fashion show. We can see Lisa Wu, and did we see Deshawn Snow too? This is indeed a dramatic culmination of Sheree’s entire She by Sheree legacy- and I’m here for it.  I mean, this trailer is giving all kinds of peach realness!

Kourtney Kardashian Slams Paparazzi For Selling Pictures Of Her Amid Husband Travis Barker’s Hospitalization

It’s Kourtney Kardashian against the paparazzi. The super-famous family have had a long standing, love/hate symbiotic relationship with photographers. But after the recent hospitalization of her husband Travis Barker, Kourtney is slamming them for selling misleading pictures of her.

As reported by Entertainment Online, The Kardashians star took to her Instagram Stories to express her anger. Kourtney wrote, “And to the paparazzi who sold pictures of me ‘out and about’ while my husband was in the hospital fighting for his life…these photos were actually taken weeks ago, (I can’t even remember the last time I wore that sweatsuit in the photos)….I didn’t forget about you.” She concluded, “A new level of low, monetizing off our of our nightmare. Really savagely uncool when I actually didn’t leave his side…shame you.”

That same day, she opened up about Travis’ medical scare and her appreciation for their well-wishers. She wrote in her Stories, “Oh what a scary and emotional week it has been. Our health is everything and sometimes we take for granted how quickly it can change. Travis and I went in for a routine endoscopy together and he ended up with severe, life-threatening pancreatitis.” Kourtney added, “I am so grateful to God for healing my husband, for all of your prayers for him and for us, for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. I am so touched and appreciative.”

Travis also shared details about his ordeal. He explained in his Stories, “I went in for an endoscopy Monday feeling great. But After dinner, I developed excruciating pain and I have been hospitalized ever since. During the endoscopy, I had a very small polyp removed right in the very sensitive area, usually handled by specialists, which unfortunately damaged a critical pancreatic drainage tube. This resulted in severe life threatening pancreatitis.”

Photos of the newlyweds arriving at West Hills hospital surfaced on June 28th. He was later transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center by ambulance. A source shared, “Travis was sick and had intense pain in his abdomen and it really concerned him and Kourtney. They called 911 and he was rushed to the hospital. After speaking with Travis and running several tests, doctors said Travis is suffering from pancreatitis.”

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance was full of surprises. It’s crazy how so many of these couples every season just ignore all the red flags. Despite all of the entertainment and drama it provides, I actually feel a little sorry for them. It has to be extremely hard to leave everything and everyone you know and only have a short time to get married and assimilate to a new life. But that is not to say some of the responsibility isn’t on them. It doesn’t seem like most of these couples actually discussed and agreed on some of the most important things before they applied for their K-1 Visa.

Emily takes a pregnancy test.  Patrick demands that Thais tell her dad the truth. Guillermo gets cold feet. Shaeeda questions Bilal‘s motives behind asking for a prenup. Mohamed issues an ultimatum to Yvette. Miona tells Jibri‘s mom they are eloping. Let’s get straight to the recap.

Thais meets with friends she met at the housewarming party to vent about her relationship with Patrick. She is struggling with whether or not she made the right decision to get married/She feels like because he is the breadwinner, he thinks nothing of making decisions without her. Despite them being on her side initially, they are shocked to hear Thais still hasn’t told her father she is getting married.

Thais confronts Patrick on making all the decisions for their wedding. He reassures her he isn’t trying to do everything; in fact it is beginning to take a toll on him. He claims he has only made the calls to vendors because of her English. He also questions if she even cares about a ceremony since she still refuses to inform her father of it. This seems like it can be easily fixed. When Patrick makes calls, he can include her and translate if necessary. Thais, can stop being passive aggressive and attempt to act like an adult and tell her dad the truth.

Emily, 29 (Salina, Kansas) and Kobe, 34 (Cameroon)

Emily shocks Kobe when she tells him that she is late on her period. They make a mad dash to a pharmacy for a test, only to find out that she is indeed pregnant. Obviously the timing isn’t the best considering they are still trying to get on their feet. Also, Emily’s parents requested that this was the one thing they don’t do when Kobe first came to America. Sigh! Emily’s solution is to hide her pregnancy from everyone, until they are forced to reveal it. When Kobe doesn’t immediately appear happy, she is annoyed. It’s clear; he is stressed out because he knows her family will blame him for their predicament.  They also aren’t financially able to raise another child without the help of her family.

Kara, 29 (Charlottesville, Virginia) and Guillermo, 23 (Venezuela)

Kara is in wedding overload now that she and Guillermo have decided to have a larger ceremony. She feels like most of the tasks are falling on her because her fiancé is foreign to the country. Guillermo is willing to help, but the controlling side of Kara has reared its head again. Guillermo’s discussion with his hair stylist only makes him more nervous about Kara’s behavior. He wanted to believe things would change once they were married, but he is now realizing that may not be the case.

Guillermo and Kara go out to dinner where he confronts her on some of their issues. When he asks her if she is willing to change some of the things that he doesn’t like, she is infuriated. She seems more upset that he is bringing this up 2 days before the wedding, than the fact that they even have these problems. Instead of using this as an opportunity to work on things, she just goes off and displays more red flags. Good luck Guillermo!

Bilal, 42 (Kansas City, Missouri) and Shaeeda, 37 (Trinidad and Tobago)

Shaeeda confronts Bilal on his ex-wife’s behavior when they last met. She felt bullied and harassed in her own home. Unfortunately, Bilal doesn’t seem shocked or upset by the conversation. However, he does admit that their prenuptial agreement shouldn’t be discussed outside of them.  Naturally, Shaeeda is annoyed that he didn’t say anything to reassure her that his ex-wouldn’t overstep again.

Bilal presents Shaeeda with a copy of the preup and she can’t hide that she is hurt. She feels like it represents how hard she will have to work in America to have anything. If they get divorced, she wouldn’t have anything to show for her time with him. She decides to have a lawyer look over the agreement before she signs anything.

Jibri, 28 (Rapid City, South Dakota) and Miona, 23 (Serbia)

Jibri’s mom and Miona have a conversation in hopes of resolving some of their issues. Miona wants to compromise without allowing everyone else’s wishes to dictate her plans. She has agreed to wait a year before having a nice wedding. But she still plans to go out of state to take pictures and elope. After their conversation, Jibri’s mom fills her husband in on the plans and he is disappointed. It seems they didn’t think that Jibri and Miona would still opt to get married. At this point, I think they need to allow their son to grow up and make his own decisions.

Yvette, 48 (Albuquerque, New Mexico) and Mohamed, 25 (Egypt)

Yvette and Mohamed clash on their plans for their wedding.  He wants to get married sooner in a mosque, while Yvette is holding out for the perfect venue. He is in a rush to get married so that he can finally have the freedoms his green card will provide. But she isn’t concerned about them having to wait just a little while longer, if it will result in them having a beautiful wedding.

The next morning, Mohamed issues an ultimatum. He wants her to agree to quickie weddings so that he can get his paperwork done. He threatens to find another sponsor, if she is unable to meet his demands. Yvette is shocked and begins to wonder does Mohamed even truly love her. Honestly, I don’t think these two should be married. There are way too many red flags for them to just expect them to go away once they are married. Is a month delay really going to make that big of a difference in him being able to work in 6 months?
