Ramona Singer Says She Didn’t Intend To Shame Leah McSweeney About Having Bipolar But She Hasn’t Apologized For Comments She Made

During last night’s episode of Real Housewives of New York, Ramona Singer took it upon herself to reveal that Leah McSweeney has bipolar 2 disorder. Apparently, she saw it in an article that Avery probably sent to her that she read. She didn’t even bring it up to Leah herself. Instead, she just talked behind her back and shared her unsolicited medical advice.

Ramona said that one of her friends told her, “Ramona listen, this Leah girl, she writes a blog and on a blog she says she’s bipolar.” She even declared, “That explains it all!” The ignorance is real. Ramona said, “I found out she’s bipolar and she’s on medication and I know people who are bipolar and you cannot mix alcohol with meds, it makes you act not responsible. It’s actually very dangerous.” In Mexico, Leah lashed out at Ramona, telling her, “Don’t talk about my vagina and don’t talk about my mental health.” Damn right. You tell her, Leah.

During a confessional, Leah shared, “I was diagnosed with bipolar 2 disorder on my 30th birthday and really dedicated the last seven years of my life to getting it under control and to getting myself in a good place.” She also addressed Ramona’s claims about drinking on medication, sharing, “I’m not even on medication, so for her to be talking about it in this way is despicable.”

After the episode, Ramona tweeted “It was never my intention to shame Leah about her mental health issues.” Then what was your intention, Ramona?

Ramona claimed, “I understand its her story to tell,” but Ramona was the one who brought this up on the show, not Leah herself. Yes, Leah wrote about it in an article, but an article written by an unknown person is a way different level of attention compared to someone sharing this information on a popular reality TV show.

Ramona concluded, “Takes a lot of courage & strength for her to go public in an article about her struggles, which I admire. I only wish her well & want to help support her in the right way.”

For a woman who talks a big game about supporting other women, Ramona really isn’t good at it herself. And let’s not forget, at no point in that tweet did Ramona ever apologize.

Adrienne Maloof Regrets Skipping Her Final Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Reunion; Insists “There’s No Comparison” To Lisa Vanderpump Skipping The Season 9 Reunion

Adrienne Maloof was not the first Housewife to ever pull a no-show at a reunion. But she was the first, and so far only (ahem, looking at you Lisa Vanderpump) ‘Wife to be fired for it after skipping the Season 3 sit-down for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

While she’s since mended fences with Bravo, the RHOBH alum has never really publicly addressed her controversial decision and subsequent firing. In a new interview, Adrienne is finally speaking out about whether she regrets missing the reunion and compares her experience to LVP‘s disgraceful no-show six years later.

Much of Season 3’s drama revolved around Brandi Glanville blurting out a scandalous family secret about Adrienne and her then-husband Paul Nassif. It was so scandalous, in fact, that the couple sued Bravo to keep the network from revealing what Brandi said — leaving the revelation bleeped out every time it was addressed on camera.

Eventually, tabloids figured out that Brandi had spilled the tea that Adrienne had used a surrogate to give birth to her three boys — a fact the kids themselves didn’t know at the time. Cut to a recent Season 10 episode of RHOBH, where Brandi and Adrienne reunited at Kyle Richards‘ Black and White gala along with nearly every other former ‘Wife in the show’s ten-year history. Via confessional, Brandi finally admitted to spreading the secret — using the word “surrogacy” seven years after the explosive storyline drove Adrienne to skip out on her final reunion.

Following the episode, Adrienne finally looked back on the situation in a new Life After Bravo segment. However, she still seemed reticent to directly use the word “surrogacy.”

“Out of respect to Paul, it’s something he would have to share as well,” she told host Megan Segura. “Like it’s not just one parent. And I don’t think he ever really gets asked the same questions I get asked. So…”

One thing Adrienne did do, however, is point the finger squarely at Lisa Vanderpump for goading Brandi into starting the entire ordeal. (For those keeping score at home, this would make the entire Season 3 storyline yet another one of LVP’s behind-the-scenes machinations. She used Brandi to go after Adrienne much like the way she used Camille Grammer to bring up Taylor Armstrong‘s abusive marriage in Season 2. The same way she used Brandi and tabloids in a suitcase to attack Kyle‘s marriage in Season 4. The way she manipulated Lisa Rinna into labeling Yolanda Hadid with the word “Munchausen” in Season 6. Oh and don’t forget about her plan to ruin Dorit Kemsley using Teddi Mellencamp and a certain Radar Online story during Season 9. Shall I continue?)

“Of course it took me by surprise,” Adrienne admitted of her family secret being brought up on camera. “And Brandi has said to me several times [that] she’s apologized, ‘It was not me, it was Lisa that wanted to kind of do the whole media thing and bring it out. At that point, I think Paul and I both were being protective. Very protective. And that’s what parents do. It could’ve been handled differently. It’s just that she, meaning Brandi, I think she was pressured a little bit to bring that out. She definitely didn’t say no! But do I think she was the only one? No, I think Lisa had something to do with that.”

Finally, the RHOBH OG spoke about her last-minute choice not to attend the reunion, admitting she regrets it in hindsight. (Frankly I regret it too. One of my biggest unanswered Housewives questions is what the original Season 3 seating chart looked like. Honestly, you can’t convince me Kyle was supposed to end up on the same couch as Brandi and Yolanda…) Adrienne also didn’t hold back in comparing her situation to LVP‘s in Season 9.

“There was so much going on at the time,” she said. “When I think back, I think it would’ve been better to just plow through it, get it over with. And I know Lisa may think differently. It’s a little condescending and holier-than-thou. When I look at what I was going through and what she was going through, there’s no comparison. I’m going through a divorce, the whole Brandi and Lisa situation, bringing the things out about my family. I felt like it was almost too much to handle at the time. But in reality, I should’ve plowed through it. I don’t think Lisa would ever say that.”

Luann de Lesseps Doesn’t Think Bethenny Would Ever Return To Real Housewives Of New York; Says She’s Bethenny’s “Go-To When It Comes To Finding Someone To Spar With”

No one is happier that Bethenny Frankel is gone from Real Housewives of New York than Luann de Lesseps. Well, maybe Ramona Singer. They’re probably tied with their level of elation.

However, much to their chagrin, the fans want Bethenny back on the show and it keeps coming up in interviews and on social media. And it doesn’t help that the current season has very little going on in terms of the storyline.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Luann was asked, “Would you want to see Bethenny come back? Or do you like the vibe without her?” We all know it’s the latter, but I appreciate the pot stirring with that question.

The former countess Luann said, “I don’t think that Bethenny would come back to the show in any case, but bring it on, girlfriend.”

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: Not Very Merry-achi

Time for the annual Real Housewives of New York Mexico trip! No idea why they always go to the same place, but it’ll be fun nonetheless. Trouble is afoot though after last week’s birthday disaster. Ramona Singer was NOT having Leah McSweeney’s dirty dancing at her birthday bash. She spent the entire episode dragging Leah for attire she deemed inappropriate. Who made Ramona the fashion police?

It seems like everyone is growing tired of Ramona being an awful person. This season may be the biggest example of her toxic behavior. The way she treats her longtime friends Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley is dreadful. Although, Dorinda hasn’t exactly been a saint this season. Her actions have crossed the line into bullying many times. The biggest villain of this season is alcohol. It makes them all so messy!

I’m so disappointed we aren’t kicking off the episode from the party. WTF? That’s such a let down. I feel like we were led to believe there’d be more following Ramona’s meltdown.

Luann de Lesseps’ wig is NOT IT. She’s doing such a nice thing having a spa day for everyone, but she looks a fool. I’m not okay because I can’t ever unsee this. Thanks Lu.

Ramona says her party was a success minus Leah’s actions according to her. She’s up Leah’s ass lately trying to control her. Ramona’s so obsessed with her “one percent” crap that she looks down on everyone.

Sonja should be the real focus if they need someone to talk about. As hilarious as it was, her stomping on the glass was a little disturbing. It’s rough watching someone who is clearly in such a dark place. How much longer can we give Sonja a free pass for her wild antics? Something’s gotta give when it comes to the straw that stirs the drink.

Luann tries to talk to Ramona about Leah, but she wants no part of that discussion. She can’t just pretend that Leah doesn’t exist. She wants to ice out people in this group, but it’s not going to work with Leah. Leah has a Bethenny Frankel type personality that Ramona will always be outmatched by.

Pretending nothing happened at the birthday party is going to lead to so much built up resentment. With an out of country trip on the horizon, talking it out is the best option. Just get it over with!

Leah tells Luann that Ramona would treat these former inmates like s**t in real life. TRUTH. Ramona thinks she’s better than everyone. Just look at her disgusting comment about dating!

At this point, Leah is done with letting things go when it comes to Ramona. She interrupts Ramona’s conversation with Sonja saying Ramona is a terrible person, a bitch, doesn’t support women, and is a phony. WHERE IS THE LIE?? The Singer Stinger is real. She’s nasty to everyone. She only cares about herself and climbing higher in New York society.

Ramona is totally ignoring Leah’s flying insults, but I bet it bothers her. I love love Leah, but I don’t know if I agree with her statement that she elevates the group. I love everything she stands for socially, but she can be just as big of a mess as the other women. She’s not an innocent angel in a sea of chaos.

The work Luann is doing with these people at the spa is heartwarming. It’s genuinely a nice gesture, and it’s something they’ll always remember. Often people just need to feel like someone cares, and that’s what she’s doing here. Say what you want about Luann, but this is a class act move by the Countess. However, the way she tries to relate to them is a little cringe. Your one night in a Florida jail doesn’t really match a lot of these heartbreaking stories.

Sonja’s collection is finally in a store! She finally did it! How major is this? We’ve come so long from that damn toaster oven. I want to thank that homeless girl in Ireland and the Nigerian football time for making this happen. She couldn’t have accomplished this without you. AND ALL OF THE INTERNS.

Ramona plans on totally avoiding Leah in Mexico. The way she randomly brings up Leah’s bipolar disorder and medications is so disgusting. How dare you drag someone’s legitimate mental health struggles into this petty s**t? Another low for Ramona. As someone who struggles with bipolar disorder myself, I’m extremely appalled at the way Ramona discusses mental health. People like that are the reason for the stigma that’s still present today.

At the airport one of the women’s bags starts going off with a buzzing sound. Looks like it belongs to Luann. She claims it was a thing to mix juice, but come on we all know what it really was. It was a toy for her lower level.

The ladies arrive at their resort and start drinking right away. It’s only a matter of time before Dorinda is slurring, and Sonja is falling out of her chair. That’s the way it usually goes down right? They even have their own bar, so this will be a cast trip for the ages.

Ramona confides in Sonja that she is hurt and disappointed following Leah’s actions. She didn’t ruin the entire party. Why is she harping on this? Ramona starts shedding crocodile tears about being embarrassed in front of her 50 closest friends. Somehow Sonja agrees with Ramona about this. Wait how? Also, you are not one to talk here. You actually BROKEN things. I’d be way more pissed at Sonja for what she did. STOP GIVING HER A FREE PASS.

Sonja blurts out that she has the “chubbiest pussy ever”. Leah is quick to bring up that if she said that it would be the end of the world. Ramona would crucify her for saying ANYTHING remotely close to that. The way Leah is ready to have her throat on Ramona’s neck at any given time is everything to me right now. Hold her accountable.

Everyone usually goes psycho about the rooms, so Dorinda devises a game show to decide. Luann gets hers first followed by Leah. No lower level or fish room for Luann on this trip! This is a nice change of pace.

Dorinda and Leah have an honest conversation about her issue with Ramona. Leah’s aware of Ramona talking about her mental health, and is so disgusted by her despicable comments. How low can this woman stoop? Please take her off this show. The way Ramona went to get dirt on her is just low class.

I have nothing good to say about Ramona after hearing the way she uses bipolar disorder as a weapon. I’m pretty through with her. Hopefully Leah spends this entire vacation dragging her and everything about her.

After their conversation, Dorinda urges Ramona to speak to Leah. The double standard from Ramona about Leah and Sonja is mind blowing. How does she not see it? It honestly makes her look stupid. Her friend has been a drunken mess for the last like seven seasons. That’s where she should direct her judgmental energy. Or she could just mind her f***ing business entirely. That would be a great new look for Ramona.

Now that Ramona knows about her bipolar disorder, she is running with this alcohol medication reaction rumor. She has no clue what she’s talking about. Sonja insists on coming to dinner, but she’s in no shape to do that. Sonja is trashed and naked while getting her hair done, but Ramona doesn’t say a word. Not a peep. Hypocrite. Stop coming for Leah when Sonja is in THAT kind of shape.

A drunken Sonja stirs up a conversation between Leah and Ramona to hash it all out. However, Ramona has no interest in talking about it in a group session. Leah is quick to call out how Ramona has bashed her depression issue and her vagina to the Upper East Side. Ramona wants no part in talking about vaginas. She storms away. Please don’t make me wait.

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills OG Lisa Vanderpump Is Starting A Podcast

The future of Vanderpump Rules is seemingly up in the air after Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Brett Caprioni, and Max Boyens got fired for their racially offensive behaviors. Plus, filming has been put on hold because of the coronavirus pandemic. And, let’s be honest, the show isn’t nearly as good as it used to be when they all lived in shitty dilapidated apartments.

Even with the Vanderpump Rules hiatus, the show’s namesake Lisa Vanderpump is keeping busy at her pink-filled mansion, Villa Rosa. However, her restaurants have been closed (thanks to the pandemic), with Villa Blanca seemingly closing down for good. Sure, LVP has Vanderpump Dogs going during this time. Oh, and that Vanderpump Dogs spin-off show is officially happening. And now, Lisa is adding another show to the list, but not a reality show this time around.

LVP tweeted, “I have finally started preparing for my own Podcast! I am excited to connect with you guys on business, design, restaurants, cooking, activism, dogs, ponies, marriage, relationships, sex.. or lack thereof lol! Submit your questions if you have them to LVP@kastmedia.com”

The Real Housewives Of New York Go To Mexico Tonight

Last week’s episode of Real Housewives of New York ended with a cliffhanger. Ramona Singer was yelling at production, threatening to leave the show because of how wild the cast got at her lame luncheon-style birthday party. (No, the party wasn’t actually at lunchtime, but it might as well have been.)

She took issue with Leah McSweeney for looking amazing when she walked into the party. Jealousy alert. She was miffed when some of the cast members didn’t comply with her party’s dress code. But, she really flipped out when the women started dancing and it was too raunchy for her high society friends.

During tonight’s Real Housewives of New York episode, we will see how that party ended up, but it could have been too bad since the cast also departs for Mexico tonight, right?

After the party, Luann de Lesseps hosts a spa day for the women she met last week through the Fortune Society, who are working to restart their lives for the better after jail time.

Ramona has a talk with Sonja about her behavior, as if Ramona is an angel herself. Meanwhile, she wants nothing to do with Leah, which was apparent last week when she avoided Leah instead of greeting her at her own party.

In Cancun, Sonja gets drunk early on, which isn’t surprising given everything we’ve seen so far this season. Leah also confronts Ramona in Mexico, which I am so pumped to see. Leah is not afraid of Ramona and I’m ready to see these women go toe to toe.

Lisa Rinna Is Mad Brandi Glanville Wasn’t Allowed To Film Reunion With Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Cast Members

As per usual, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members have no interest in talking about their personal lives this season. So, instead, we are now focusing on claims from someone who isn’t even an official cast member, Brandi Glanville.

Brandi went to Kyle Richards‘ party this season. Then she “spontaneously” showed up to Kyle’s house to tell Kyle and Teddi Mellencamp that she had sex with Denise Richards, initially believing that Denise and Aaron Phypers had an open marriage. However, Brandi claimed that Denise told her to keep their alleged tryst a secret because Aaron would be upset. This storyline dominated the season before it even started airing, so it was a given that Brandi would make an appearance at the reunion, right? Well, apparently not.

Instead of filming at the same time as the actual cast members, Brandi was asked to do a one-one interview with Andy Cohen to share her side of the story. After the reunion was filmed, Lisa Rinna sounded off about the taping, claiming it was “bullshit,” citing Denise’s cease and desist letters as the reason why.

Additionally, she referred to Denise as a “narcissist” and a “phony.” Recently, Lisa sounded off on the reunion… again.

In an Instagram Story, she wrote, “I have to hear one more person say why they think I was mad at the reunion… here let me tell you myself. I was mad because at the 11th hour they decided to not have Brandi come tell her side of the story. Isn’t that what the reunion is for?” I’m not gonna lie. I wish that Brandi was a part of the taping too. I would love to see Brandi and Denise confront each other over these hookup rumors.

Lisa said Brandi’s absence “made and makes no sense to” her.” She concluded, “There you go. Ok lets move on now. Thanks.”
