Below Deck Sailing Yacht Star Jenna MacGillivray Denies Bullying Accusations And Addresses Social Media Haters

Ah, the perils of becoming a reality TV star.  It’s easy in the beginning to think of the thrills, the ego boost, the money, and the increased social media presence.  But what happens when fans turn on you.  Just ask Below Deck Sailing Yacht Chief Stew Jenna MacGillivray.

Anyone following the season may not be surprised that Jenna has become the pariah of the crew.  She was brusque with her team, and engaged in extremely unprofessional PDA with Chef Adam Glick.  There was never a missed opportunity to tell subordinates that they had no right to an opinion, even on crew nights off the boat.  With all the fan backlash, it’s worth questioning whether Jenna has done any retrospection since filming wrapped.

It turns out Jenna is both seeing the error of her ways, but also defending herself against questionable editing.  That seems to be a theme with Bravo shows recently.  Just ask the Southern Charm cast.  Regardless of what viewers may think of Jenna, bullying is never justified, and Jenna says that she has been receiving a lot of hate.

Jenna spoke with In Touch Weekly and explained the situation.  “The stuff that people write is extremely vile,” she said, “it’s hard for me because it’s [about] the way I’m depicted on the show-it’s not who I am as a person.  So it’s very hard to defend myself.”

What’s even more frustrating for Jenna is that she has, “no power” to correct her image and the, “certain persona has been presented”

Does Jenna regret some of her actions on the show?  “Definitely,” the Chief Stew said.  She does acknowledge that she lacked empathy at times.

“I’m very direct, and I do pride myself on my communication, but I think, at times, when I feel frustrated with somebody, I get on the defense,” Jenna explained, “I don’t think I ever spoke in a derogatory way- [but] if I were to go back, I would be a little bit softer in my tone.”

Jenna said she questioned coworkers’ attitudes and performance, without hurling personal insults.  So “bullying” claims are “absurd.”

Maybe it all comes to personal preference on managing styles.  “Some people really like that management style, but I also know that not all people do,” Jenna said, “I really need to [work to] accommodate other people’s way of communicating that may not be the same as my own.”

Jenna did have some positive feedback as well.  She had a touching moment with an ailing charter guest that resonated with fans.  The primary was suffering with cancer, and Jenna had a moving conversation with the woman.  It was after the episode aired that a fan reached out.

“This guy contacted me and said that his mother has Stage 4 cancer and that episode really spoke to him,” Jenna explained, “he said his mom had been given a new energy from watching me.”

Jenna connected with the fan, in an attempt to talk with his mother.  She credits interactions like that for keeping her perspective positive.

Jenna said, “what makes me genuinely feel good is making other people feel good.  I guess it’s difficult for me to feel like I didn’t do that at times.”

Scheana Marie Reacts To Vanderpump Rules Editor Getting Fired; Says Lisa Vanderpump Dismissed Her When She Asked For Help

It’s the second coming of Scheana Marie all! A couple months ago, we received confirmation about something Scheana fans had long suspected. Scheana was deliberately being edited in a negative light by FORMER Vanderpump Rules editor Bri Dellinger, because Scheana didn’t “befriend her” outside of the show. Question: how did Bri even get a job editing on this show if she didn’t graduate from middle-school?

Sure, we all enjoyed watching Scheana, at times, be the butt of a joke. But this past season of Pump Rules producers and editors went too far. They crossed a line when they decided to frame Scheana to look like she was hitting on Stassi Schroeder’s younger brother, Nikolai Czermak. Soon after this, Bri shared she was behind the negative edits. She has since been fired, set her social media to private, and remains unapologetic. Now, #JusticeForScheana can really begin.

As reported by Us Weekly, Scheana spilled her thoughts about the shady editing on Maria Menounos’ “Better Together” podcast. “I think people mistake my kindness for weakness and just think it’s OK to always walk all over me …because I’m such a forgiving person,” Scheana said.

She continued (by stating the obvious), “the bitches are winning! They’re the ones with most followers, they’re the ones with the most job opportunities! I’m not a mean girl. Next season, you’ll see more of that Scheana: more outspoken, confident and secure, and not afraid to tell people how I feel. No one is ever afraid of hurting my feelings, why should I be afraid of hurting theirs?” Seriously! I hope Scheana really brings it if VPR gets renewed.

Menounos asked Scheana if anyone else on the cast noticed her negative portrayal. Scheana said, “it’s not that nobody believed me. I think just, everyone else had it better and nobody cared.” She went on to speak some more truths, “we tend to be in a group of very selfish people who, you know, they care about themselves and how they look and once that looks good … [They say] ‘I’m getting everything I want, so I don’t care.’” I can believe that Scheana’s peers on the show wouldn’t care at all. But, it is a bit surprising that Lisa Vanderpump wasn’t more supportive of her bad edit, according to Scheana.

According to Page Six, Scheana shared, “I went to [LVP] last year and she knew I was really upset with how things were going into last season.” Scheana elaborated on this by talking about what went down in a scene that had Scheana crying in LVP’s kitchen: “the whole scene where they do this stupid montage of ‘I’m not jealous, I’m not jealous, I’m not jealous, I’m not jealous.’ I was crying to Lisa, just like begging her to listen to me.”

To this, LVP said, “oh please, stop it. Be professional. Do your job. Stop breaking the fourth wall.” Lisa’s response is interesting considering the fact that she left Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after many years of “bad edits.” LVP also didn’t do her own job when she refused to show up to last year’s reunion. Which was something she blasted Adrienne Maloof for not doing earlier.

Scheana continued, saying, “I’m like, ‘Let’s break the fourth wall. Let’s talk about the real issue. I’m jealous that Dayna [Kathan] is … coming on our show and now is getting to showcase her career when she hasn’t worked a day in her life for this. Like literally, it was just handed to her.” It definitely seems like it. Plus, do we really need to see more of Dayna’s basic standup routine?

LVP “couldn’t be reached for comment,” according to Page Six. The fact that Scheana is even sharing this about LVP is a good indicator that the gloves are off. Let’s hope we see more of Scheana’s “bad side” on the reunion!

Real Housewives Of New York Recap: MOB Life

I love Real Housewives Of New York. Also, I want to hang out with them. The FOMO is worse than ever with this whole quarantine thing and everything. I will drink 10 martinis and lose my mind with Leah McSweeney. I will tear down the genteel (only-in-delusion) Upper East Side establishment – starting with their flowers. I will burn Newport to the ground with a fire of toasted marshmallows and vodka. It will be great. Ramona Singer can take her wannabe elegance and stuff it like a lobster roll.

Anyway, Ramona has invited all the Real Housewives of New York ladies to beautiful and sophisticated Newport, RI where she’s attempting to refashion herself into some sort of elegant grand dame in the search of a wealthy husband. Pssst…. Turtle Time, that ship has sailed. Meanwhile, there is Tinsley Mortimer, whose family actually owns a house in Newport where they spend summers. They winter in Palm Beach.

See, this is why they hate Tinsley. It’s not her screeching, or the whining, or the Power Puff Girl makeup with plastic-y tears, it’s the access. The blue bloodstock that doesn’t come from marrying up, and won’t dry-up with divorce.

Dorinda Medley is meeting them in Newport, coming straight from Blue Stone Manor where she’s supervising the renovation. When Dorinda said a flood I had envisioned a little bit of water dribbling down the wall and I chalked it up to karma for having giant dead fish swooping over the walls where her guests slept. However, seeing the actual scene at Bluestone. HOLYYYYY… I get why she’s so anxious. This is a historic home and to do a restoration correctly is painstaking and nervewracking. That said, I cannot wait until these girls can go back there and trash it again.

On the bus to Newport Leah drops the bomb that she’d like her sister, Sarah, a new mom, to join them for the weekend. Leah says Sarah needs a break and a night away with her new fun friends (re: absolutely batshit crazy old broads they can laugh at) will be perfect.

Also, Leah is going through something with “Pita Chip,” the guy she was dating for his baked goods. They hooked up, then were supposed to have a dinner date but on the day of he never called to confirm, so Leah texted him in a rage and accused him of sucking dick. Now it’s over before it even got started. As a result, Leah is feeling really badly about herself (and hopefully her hair-trigger temper), and she’s too anxious to eat. Which doesn’t mix well with the general extracurricular activity of this group: consuming alcohol.

So about the sister – I am on both sides. Leah should’ve planned this out in advance instead of putting Ramona on the spot. Although I don’t see how it really matters if she joins. However, Ramona, who wants to control the nuance of the group, doesn’t want an interloper she doesn’t know (who likely has more tattoos than Leah) showing up and out-hotting them all in her bikini. Ramona also doesn’t want Leah and Tinsley going off with Sarah to do fun young people things, leaving all the grannies behind to reminisce about their days at Studio 54.

However, Leah tells Ramona she looks 25 and is her surrogate mother, which is … all kindsa MTV Teen Mom weird, but it works so Ramona initially agrees that Sarah can join them for the second night.

Howevrrrrrrrrrr… once they get to the hotel, which is posh and very fancy, and are greeted with gorgeous craft cocktails and a lunch of lobster rolls (which Leah does not eat), Ramona starts having second thoughts and RESCINDS the sister’s invite. Leah will not be told no. Like a child she starts running around the dining room, dancing up and down, begging and whining. She corals Dorinda and Tinsley, and even Luann de Lesseps to agree with her that her sister can come.

Tinsley knows Sarah and co-signs her greatness. Sonja Morgan and Elyse Slaine both say nope. Me thinks they saw Sarah’s Instagram… This is mutiny in the Housewives world. A civil war which will be won by the woman with the most stamina for antics and outrage. Ramona has met her match. Once again Ramona is pressed into saying yes, then they all go to their bungalows to rest up before dinner, which is a clam bake befitting of a Martha Stewart Living spread.

While everyone else relaxes, Leah keeps drinking. Oh, she also calls her sister and tells her to drive up the following day for an overnight.

Ramona and Sonja are of course sharing a ‘cabin’ and it gives them plenty of time to conspire. After thinking about it AGAIN, Ramona decides she doesn’t want Leah’s sister coming after all. This time, away from the persuasive fan dance of Leah waving linen napkins, Luann agrees.

Sonja promises to support Ramona in breaking the news to Leah. Ramona decides she’ll offer a ‘cocktails and conversation’ event at her house as a conciliatory substitution where she can vet Sarah for future reference. Well, we saw how well Ramona’s last cocktail party went when Dorinda got thrown out! Also, I’m so sure Leah and Sarah want to hang out with aging former trophy wives, discussing Tom and Harry’s pass-around dicks. (Which obviously Leah and Sarah would pass on completely.)

At least the beach party was beautiful for about 15 seconds. Ramona even brought plastic crows leftover from last year’s New Years Eve for all the women wear. Immediately Leah decided that the cocktails were too weak, and so too, apparently was the company. She asks the bartender to start making hers double (or triple), and before the appetizers are even served she is literally making love to the stake holding up the pergola. Ramona tries to warn Leah to slow down, but that only makes Leah, a rebellious teen at heart, want it more. Ramona literally yells across the party that Leah is a recovering alcoholic and shouldn’t be drinking such strong drinks.

Ramona is intent to prove her dominance though, both over this trip and her friend group, and by telling Leah that Sarah is uninvited (again). Unfortunately, Sonja is wavering in her Ramotional Support role. Sonja lets Leah sit on her lap. She doesn’t stop her from flinging the flowers. She at one point was dragging Leah by her ankles across the lawn as Ramona literally tried to tackle Leah to make her calm down, but only because Ramona decides this is the moment to inform Leah that her sister is canceled. Ramona literally wrestled Leah to break the news. In response, Leah decides break everything else in sight. Especially Ramona’s ego.

While all this is happening a super trashed Tinsley sits down on Dorinda to slur that she doesn’t want to fight, she just wants to hug. Dorinda is in her Mrs. Medley mode though and chooses to lecture Tinsley (again) on how she’s still not being forthcoming about her life. All Tinsley hears is that Dorinda thinks she has cooties. WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE HER?! NO ONE LOVES HER!!!!!! FROZEN EGGS!!!!!!! I mean can you imagine if Tinsley was acting the way Leah did?  Actually, they might actually like Tinsley then.

Leah does not take the news well. She breaks down into hysterical – fake – sobs and throws herself on the ground. Sonja tries helping her to feet, but only succeeds in taking Leah’s shoes off. Dorinda is chasing her before she impales herself on a lobster fork. Dorinda understands Leah – a kindred spirit in rage and retaliation. Leah, like Dorinda, loves to go hard, and they’re all fine and dandy until you piss them off. Yeah, the difference is that Leah isn’t mean. She’s ridiculous and outrageous and a lot of work to babysit, but she’s not mean. Dorinda is. Also, Leah isn’t bitter to her core, just the sole of her sneakers.

Finally, Ramona realizes that Leah has her beat. If she doesn’t want the entire trip to be ruined she has to agree to let Sarah come. Leah is a master manipulator and I love it! She has stolen Ramona’s crown – literally!! – by ripping it off her head, and now Leah is the one whose tantrums reign supreme.

The next morning Ramona and Sonja are in surprisingly good spirits and Leah is also surprisingly fresh, although she has no memory of what happened the night before. Instead, her night of living ‘Keith Richards Takes Newport’ was cathartic. So she runs into the waves with Dorinda for a baptism.

Elyse is less enthralled. First she tells Ramona she was out of line for inviting, then uninviting the sister. Once she told Leah yes the first time that had to stand. Ramona doesn’t know these proper etiquette rules though. Although Elyse also thought Leah was out of line to ask in the first place.

Elyse lectures Leah about being so drunk and her behavior probably being the reason she doesn’t have a man. Dorinda immediately defends Leah and snaps that Elyse is no psychologist. It’s interesting that Elyse is finally coming out of her shell, and whew this crab is shady!

As they head into town for shopping, Elyse, riding with Ramona and Sonja, complains about Dorinda being a hypocrite and mimics her lecturing Ramona for judging Leah, after screaming at Tinsley for being a materialistic slut. It was, actually, pretty funny. A rare moment when Elyse’s inclusion in this group made sense. However, then shopping happened.

In the middle of a boutique Leah tries to explain why Elyse is out of line to criticize her, but instead hearing Leah she goes a step further by asking what she’d do if her own daughter acted like that. Leah is livid. She storms out of the shop, dropping a slew of F-Bombs, which has Ramona seething with the vapors. She’s mortified. Her reputation! Quick somebody get her an Hermes beach towel to fan her injured sensibilities with! Or a Bloody Mary.

Outside Leah complains that Elyse has no right bring up her daughter and she’s tired of being judged by these hypocrites. I agree. Who is Elyse Slaine in this world? Furthermore, after the way Sonja and Dorinda behaved in the Hamptons and the orchard, Leah doesn’t think her meltdown was all that bad. “I thought I was allowed to chug 10 martinis and lose my mind?” she quips. DING DING DING for the double standard! We need Martin in charge of this ring. And yes, I didn’t see Elyse pulling Dorinda aside to lecture her about the example she’s setting for her daughter by calling Tinsley a prostitute.

What these ladies always need to get them back is a bar. Now Ramona is bemoaning that her childhood issues of being raised in an alcoholic home were triggered by Leah’s outburst. What – Ramona had nightmares of being forced to forage for vodka? It was also embarrassing for Ramona to have to relive these moments of Leah cursing in public in a sophisticated environment like Newport.

Was Ramona the little matchstick girl of the Berkshires or something, looking in through the leaded glass windows of all the mansions salivating over oysters? Ramona claims Leah’s behavior was so traumatic she “blanked it all out.”

Luann immediately calls Ramona out on this BS, and reminds Ramona that she’s been plenty embarrassing all around the world, and therefore has no business pointing the finger at Leah. Furthermore, Ramona didn’t blank anything out – she was blackout drunk too! Dorinda is also on Leah’s side. As punishment for causing Ramona distress, she turns her back on Leah and Tinsley, literally blocking them from the group. Leah gets so upset she leaves the restaurant. Tinsley is used to it. Her eggs, sitting in a lab petri dish, get more attention.

Once again Leah has manipulated Ramona into capitulating. Ramona follows Leah outside to give her a hug and apologize. Ramona is trying this new thing where she connects to young people so her sister-daughter Avery will let Ramona come on spring break and, or teach her to Tinder. Ramona promises to let go of some of her judgements to accept Leah. Well, next week we see that this was all talk on Ramona’s part.

Personally, I love Leah and think she’s shaking up the status quo! Also finally Tinsley has a friend – something she’s so badly wanted for so many years, but that Dale wouldn’t allow her to have.

Leah McSweeney & Her Sister Sarah Claim Ramona Singer “Pooped Her Pants While Flirting With Drunk Maried Men”; Leah Slams Ramona For Getting Avery Singer Involved In Feud

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been yawning my way through the current Real Housewives of New York season. Pretty much nothing is happening other than some overindulgence in alcohol. During last night’s episode, Leah McSweeney was excited to introduce the group to her sister Sarah McSweeney.

Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan were not on board with that plan. They wanted to restrict the Newport trip invite list to just the cast. Leah was not happy about this. Then, Ramona picked at Leah for her drinking, which incited Leah to drink even more… and inexplicably start throwing objects. Yesterday, Leah called out Ramona for being unwelcoming to her sister, among other things. Last night, Leah and her sister Sarah continued to slam Ramona, and eventually, Ramona even got Avery Singer involved in the social media feud.

Last night, Avery watched the episode and posted on her Instagram story “This is next level horrible. I am cringing.” In another, she wrote, “My queen handling this with grace @ramonasinger.”

That’s when Leah shared her own Instagram Story, writing “@ramonasinger are you sure you wanna involve @averysinger in our drama? She’s 25 so she’s fair game to me. In fact I’m closer to her age then I am to you. In another IG Story, Leah wrote, “@averysinger sit down sweetie.” Leah went on to ask, “Seriously why are involving ur daughter @ramonasinger.”

Well, Ramona isn’t the only one whose family member got involved. Leah’s sister Sarah commented on Ramona’s Instagram, “Omg you are embarrassed by my sister @leahmob for entertaining you all at that boring dinner party? I was embarrassed when you pooped your pants the next night at dinner and were still prancing around trying to flirt with drunk married men with ‘soiled’ pants on. [Elyse Slaine] was my witness. But she was being a good friend and trying to distract me from your shit stained pants. And @averyinger please get your mom some depends.”

Leah McSweeney Slams Ramona Singer For Not Wanting Her Sister On Cast Trip

She may float like a butterfly but she sure stings like a bitch! Leah McSweeney has been, I dare say, a perfect addition to this season of The Real Housewives of New York City.

So far, the RHONY newbie seems to have hit it off with each of her fellow ‘Wives. She’s chucked tiki torches in the Hamptons, exposed the ladies to the Russian Bathhouse, stuck up for Tinsley Mortimer and called out everything from white supremacy to Sonja Morgan‘s unending delusions. However, it appears Leah‘s budding friendship with Ramona Singer hits the rocks during the cast trip to Newport, R.I. due to her drinking. Ahead of the episode, she took to social media to address the OG’s issues with her and trust me, it’s a takedown of epic proportions.

Leah kicked off her lengthy post by explaining her state of mind while filming tonight’s drunken antics. “Hurricane season is here and tonight it’s ‘Hurricane Leah,'” she captioned the mirror selfie. “I want to preface this episode by saying I went on this trip to Rhode Island not really wanting to even go. I didn’t know the women that well at this point, and I was in an already-vulnerable mood.

She also addressed the drama surrounding wanting her sister to come on the trip, though it appears part of her caption has since been deleted. “I wanted my sister there for support. She was also six months postpartum and looking forward to her first baby-free overnight trip. Moms: haven’t we all been there?” the RHONY newbie wrote.

Here’s the deleted part: “So yes, I was upset when Ramona rescinded her invite for the third time. My sister is my best friend and beyond. You just don’t fuck with her. Ever!! Did I get wasted and act crazy at dinner? Absolutely. Did I do anything that none of the other women haven’t done before? Nope.”

Leah certainly has a point there. While we have yet to see exactly how naked wasted she gets in tonight’s episode, the other ‘Wives have literally have not a single (wooden) leg to stand on between them if they’re being judgmental. Over the years we’ve seen Dorinda Medley stab herself in the hand while sloshed in Cartagena during Season 10. Luann de Lesseps infamously fell into a bush in Mexico in Season 9. (Furthermore, there’s also, you know, that whole ordeal of getting drunk, assaulting a cop and getting arrested after slipping off her handcuffs back in 2017…) And don’t even get me started on Sonja‘s constantly problematic, sexually aggressive blackouts in virtually every episode.

However, Leah gets back to the problem at hand: that old Singer Stinger. “But enough about me. Tune in tonight for Ramona,” she concludes. “Watch her get embarrassed by MY ‘bad’ behavior. Yes, you heard it right: the woman who defecates on hotel room floors (and expects others to clean it up), who calls her own friends fat, and who tries to flex on IG during a pandemic is supposedly embarrassed that I got shitfaced. Please!”

Several Bravolebrities also expressed their support for the rookie in her plight against Ramona. “So well [said],” Dorinda commented, while Season 12’s unofficial Friend of the Housewives Elyse Slaine wrote, “Love you and love your sister! Glad we got to meet her! I made some mistakes on that trip, and you know I felt terrible about it. Ramona told me to have her back, so I did… Big Mistake!!!”

Even Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jackie Goldschneider also added her two cents, commenting, “Love you girlfriend!! Can’t wait to watch!” (Who would’ve even guessed she and Leah knew each other?)

While we all love when Ramona becomes a complete and total monster, all I can say is step aside and bow down to Leah, bitches. There’s officially a new gangster in town and we have no choice but to stan.

Stassi Schroeder Is Tired Hearing She’s A “Mean Girl” Since She Doesn’t Want To Be Friends With Kristen Doute

Yes. You read that headline correctly. Stassi Schroeder  from Vanderpump Rules is tired of being called a “mean girl.” Newsflash, lady! We are tired of you BEING a mean girl. I love petty drama but ugh. It’s honestly hard to even know where to begin with her. On ean episode this season, Stassi whines (over wine, HA!) to Beau Clark about how she isn’t allowed to “outgrow” her friendship with Kristen Doute. Like who said that?

Stassi is over her former co-witch Kristen. Shocking considering she is still conveniently friends with her ex-boyfriend Jax Taylor who cheated on her, lied to her face, and has generally been a terrible person forever. Stassi was also quick to make up with Katie Maloney when she was returning to the show after leaving post-Season 3. I mean, she can forgive, when it suits her. And rather than keep the peace with her longtime TV bestie, Stassi has taken to her podcast to continue her complaints.

Stassi commented on her issues with Kristen during an episode of her podcast Straight Up With Stassi. According to Us Weekly, Stassi said “I would have been sad [watching the finale] if the reunion went a little differently. But I got so annoyed at the reunion and pissed off at people that I’m like, ‘F—k this anyway.'”

Stassi went on to say, “I’m so sick of people giving me a hard time because I’m not allowed to chose who I want to hang out with.” Girl. Not only was Kristen your sole friend when you returned to this show, you run a business with her. A business you started with the clout you gained from being on a show. A show that she is a part of and helped you reintegrate into. A show that launched your ability to even write a book, have a podcast, and make wearing an outfit of the day something resume worthy.

Stassi continued saying “If I hear that I am a mean girl one more time for making my own decisions one more time I’m going to be like, ‘Fine. I’m a f—king mean girl,’” Okay. So do it.

I need Stassi to find her seat. She is so unable to list one tangible thing wrong with Kristen that in the season finale she makes fun of her using the word “thrive.” Like, good one. That’s really all she had to say, despite claiming, “This is the opposite of a black-and-white situation.”

“These feelings started to develop two years ago.” So bring your 2-year-long CVS receipt of complaints and wrongdoings. And spare me the Brian Carterdetails. Seriously. I’d love some reasonable argument between any of this original cast at some point. They’re all just clinging to the show to expand their appropriately lackluster beer cheese, t-shirt, and hashtag day(?) ventures.

Sassi is seriously so unaware she told her podcast listeners, “We need a spinoff with those of us who are in this transition period…We’re too old to do the stupid s—t I used to do on seasons 1 and 2 of Vanderpump Rules. Life is a little different now. I’ve grown up a tad but we’re too young to be Housewives material. Can someone find a transitional show for us?”

Hate to break it to you girl, but Kristen is already the same age as  Leah McSweeney from Real Housewives of New York. Shockingly Jax is the same age as Teddi Mellencamp from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And you, Stassi, are roughly the same age as Candiace Dillard, Eva Marcille, and you’re DEFINITELY older than the OG baddie Jo De La Rosa. You’re just not as interesting *shrug*
