Lala Kent Asks For Donations To Humane Society For Her Bridal Shower Instead Of Gifts

Lately it seems like it’s impossible to have any Vanderpump Rules content without a wedding being discussed. Between Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s nuptials to Lala Kent and Randall Emmett’s upcoming day, it’s like everyone has suddenly decided that getting married is the thing to do. Even Stassi Schroeder got engaged last year. Not that anyone cares what I think but personally, I’m not here for all the wedding story lines. I like my Vanderpump Rules as God intended it: a bunch of drunken kids going out, fighting and all sleeping with each other. If I wanted to see weddings in my reality shows, I would just change the channel and find them. But enough about me.

Lala and Randall have been engaged for some time now, so it’s only natural that Lala has some upcoming wedding events to keep her and her friends busy. One of those such events is her bridal shower. But much like everything else she does, Lala is planning on doing it her way.

Unlike Brittany’s very traditional shower, Lala is going a different route, deciding that she’s asking for donations to the Humane Society rather than bridal shower gifts. Lala has long been a champion of animal rights so this isn’t a surprise. What is surprising is that she didn’t ask for those donations to be sent to Vanderpump Dogs, right?

Lala is clearly excited about her big day, regularly posting to her Instagram how happy she is to become Mrs. Emmett. One post she shared is an image of the two, her standing on a ladder in a wedding dress (very Carrie Bradshaw) while Randall gazes at her from a Director’s chair.

Lala captioned it, “You’re the love of my life. I love the way you hug me. I love the way you build me up. I love the way we bicker. I love the way we make up. I cant wait to be your wife. Thank you for your vision.”

In another image shared, this time of her bridal shower invite, a small note at the bottom reads: “In lieu of gifts please donate to the Humane Society of Utah.” The ask is not only an homage to Lala’s home state but to her dedication to helping animals in need.

Danielle Staub Doesn’t Regret Pulling Margaret Josephs’ Hair, Says She Wishes She Did It Sooner

When it comes to Housewives we can’t seem to get rid of, the first person who comes to my mind is Danielle Staub. Ever since she first graced the screen on Real Housewives of New Jersey, she has held on for dear life. Even when she was demoted to a “friend,” Danielle made sure every scene she was in was all about her. Who could forget her whining over and over about her wedding for all of last season? You know, the wedding that lasted longer than her actual marriage.

Part of why Danielle is so entrenched in RHONJ is her ability to have longstanding feuds with a main Housewife. For years, it was OG Teresa Giudice. Once they finally made up in what could only be described as a story line of extreme convenience, she moved on to a feud with Margaret Josephs. Things really went sour when Margaret didn’t roll over and kiss Danielle’s ring over the whole wedding. It just went downhill from there. So downhill that it culminated in an epic showdown of water being thrown, ponytails being pulled and purses being dumped, all while the rest of the cast chugged sipped and wished they could just get back to buying $600 candles.

Instead of feeling some kind of remorse for inflicting physical violence on someone else, Danielle, true to form, is doubling down with her evil self. In a recent article by TooFab, Danielle does some major revealing about her thoughts on what went down and how she feels about it. And it’s a doozy. When asked on Bravo’s “RHONJ After Show” why she thought Teresa egged her on to yank Margaret’s ponytail, Danielle said, “I don’t know. I don’t wanna do what they do. I don’t wanna pretend to know what anyone’s thinking when they say stuff. And that’s my only regret, is that she had to tell me to do it. It felt good.”

She continued, “All this time, I thought that I’d be mortified when I saw it play out.” But instead admitting, “Total opposite! And I am not a violent person. And again, remember, and she knew this, I come from a long history, from very early in my childhood, of abuse. I’ve been everything, every form of abuse. There’s only so much a person’s gonna take before they just start to push back. And I did. And I don’t remember, I saw red. My only regret is not doing it sooner! And having somebody tell me to do it.”

Let us not forget the shop owner lurking in the background, who Danielle says came up with the idea in the first place, “I can’t speak for Steven. I can say Steven’s just a great guy, and I feel really bad that Margaret was even invited that day, because not for nothing, she doesn’t shop there. She couldn’t afford to.” As if Danielle could.

As seen in the season finale, the shop owner wasn’t the only one who was behind the idea to pull ponytails. It was revealed that Teresa was in on it too. When asked if she and Teresa ever had a conversation about keeping quiet about Teresa’s role in the whole thing, Danielle said she didn’t think a conversation needed to be had. “No, it’s not something — I just hold people’s stuff,” Danielle explained. “I hold it. I carry it, and it’s f–king heavy. And I’m not gonna do it anymore.”

Danielle continued, “So I could really care less what people tell me to do. I’m gonna do it my way and in my time, and I was just done holding it. It’s not something bad! It’s not like I said something terrible about Teresa! I’m the one that did it! So I was kinda shocked that the reaction was the way it was. I mean, if I had given away a secret like, oh Teresa had sex with somebody, like she did about me, I can see getting mad about that.”

She goes on to defend Teresa, despite throwing her under the bus during her conversation with Melissa Gorga. Danielle says,“But listen, I’ve forgiven Teresa for so much,” she went on, “So much. So much worse than that. She called me a prostitution whore in front of my children, flipped a table at me. If I wasn’t important enough to her to forgive me, which, I shouldn’t have even needed forgiveness. It should’ve just been understanding. Like, so big deal? Danielle said it, I did it. That’s all she would’ve had to say. The fact that things have panned out the way they have, it was just an agenda.”

Only someone as warped as Danielle would be mad that she didn’t get the true credit she deserved for physical violence. This only furthers my theory that Danielle would do anything to stay relevant to the show. 

Too bad for Danielle that it didn’t work this time.

90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days Episode Recap: Great Expectations

You would think anyone who is cast on 90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days has seen this show in the past. If that is true, I am having a hard time understanding how they keep finding such naive and desperate people to participate. Have these people learned nothing!  There are some who have relationship issues that may have a chance. There are others that are basically walking around with rose-colored glasses on during an apocalypse.

Darcey Silva tries to decode mixed messages from Tom Brooks.  Yolanda has a confusing conversation with Williams. Geoffrey begins his journey to Russia. Avery seeks her parent’s approval and Lisa‘s friends are concerned for her safety. Let’s get straight into the 90 Day Fiance recap!

Darcey, 45(Connecticut) & Tom, 39 (England)

Their backkkkkkkkkk! Viewers should already be familiar with Darcey, who has already been around the 90 Day Fiance block a couple of times.  First, she appeared on the show with her younger ex, Jesse Meester, and now with Tom.

Both Tom and Darcey previously appeared on season 3 of Before the 90 Days. The crazy couple faced many ups and downs throughout their relationship and ended the season on uncertain terms. Darcey is famous for her meltdowns and being thirsty to get married. Now, she is back for another shot at love.

I see the only thing that has changed since we last saw Darcey is more lip fillers and self- tanner.  Tom is still basically avoiding her and she still wants attention. Even her own twin sister, Stacey, wishes she would just move on.

Tom video calls Darcey after not speaking to her for quite some time. He informs her he will be in New York for a meeting and would like to see her. Darcey is fearful he may be coming to break up with her in person. When Tom attempts to rush off the call, Darcey tells him she isn’t sure if she will be available. Girl… we all know you will be at that meeting with bells on to see Tom.

Lisa, 52 (York, Pa.) & Usman “SojaBoy,” 30 (Nigeria)

Lisa is headed to Nigeria in just a few days to finally see her man, Usman. It’s obvious when they video call him she is still extremely insecure about his career and his fans. Lisa demands that when she arrives that he completely focus on her throughout her trip. Good luck with that! She is also nervous that Usman’s mother may not give her blessing for them to be married.

Lisa meets with friends to discuss her upcoming trip to Nigeria. The first question is why an established entertainer would want to leave that behind too come to America. During the conversation, she shares her disappointment that a Nigerian woman was his leading lady in the song that was supposedly written for her. Insert side-eye emoji. Chile, please! It was a love song that could be about anybody. Lisa insists that she and Usman are soul mates and won’t listen to anything her friends say that contradicts that claim.

Lisa’s friends stop by to bring her some condoms before her trip. She makes it clear that she will not be using them. SMH! On the way to the airport, her friends inquire whether Usman and his male roommates could be scam artists aka “yahoo boys”. Does this woman have no fear? I hope she is staying at a hotel.  There is no way in hell I would stay anywhere with several men I don’t know.

Ed, 54 (San Diego) & Rosemarie, 23 (Philippines)

Ed is planning to go to the Philippines in a few days. He is totally shocked when he learns from a coworker the living conditions he will probably endure during his trip. But that isn’t the biggest shocker, Rose’s sister reached out to him asking for money.  He fears that his new love may be involved and they could be attempting to take advantage of him. Umm…. Duh!

Why would Rose’s sister think it’s appropriate to ask a man her sister has only talked to for 3 months for money? Ed, if this is happening after a few months, you will be sending money every week to the entire family very soon.  The mayo he puts on his hair must be going to his brain he doesn’t see the set up here.

Ed’s friend comes to visit him as he packs for his trip to the Philippines. He literally has packed everything under the sun, including an engagement ring. He is extremely nervous about finally meeting Rose in person. He has been hiding not only his height, but the fact that he doesn’t want any more kids. Apparently, Rose, a single mother of a son wants another child when they get married.

Ed calls his daughter before he gets on the plane for his big trip. It broke my heart seeing him tearfully creating a video message for his daughter. She calls him back to say “safe travels”, which is their custom before any trip. Hopefully, these two will be able to work things out when he returns to the states. I understand Ed’s desire to be in a relationship. He hasn’t been with a woman in 28 years! I can also understand how his daughter is disgusted by his relationship with a much younger woman in another country. The whole thing gives me creep vibes.

Avery, 32 (Seattle) & Ash, 38 (Australia)

 

Avery and Ash have a conversation about their future. She has doubts about whether he is truly genuine or just tells her what she wants to hear. She will definitely find out when she travels to Australia to meet Ash and his son in person. I have a feeling things aren’t going to go as planned on this trip. Avery, there is a reason your intuition is telling you not to trust him. I guess we will just have to wait and see if her senses are correct.

Avery confesses to her family she is in a long-distance relationship with a man she never met. Everything was going well until she reveals her plan to go to Australia for 2 weeks to meet Ash. Naturally, they are concerned for her safety as a woman traveling alone to another country to see someone who is virtually a stranger.

Yolanda, 51 (Las Vegas, NV) & Williams, 40 (England)

Yolanda discovers when talking with her daughter that she isn’t sure which airport she should fly into when she visits her boyfriend, Williams. When she calls to get the name of the airport, he rushes off the phone. He then sends confusing texts that don’t give a real location or airport. Girl, are you serious!? This guy has all the signs of a catfish. He doesn’t even seem to want to speak with you on the phone, let alone see you in person.

Okay, Yolanda, girl, you can’t be this naive. This woman wants love so desperately; she is willing to ignore HUGE red flags. What is sad is she wants to bring her daughter along on this wild goose chase throwing caution and common sense to the wind. Even her daughter is alarmed by the call she witnessed and the fact Williams couldn’t give them basic information.

Geoffrey, 41 (Knoxville, Tenn.) & Varya, 30 (Russia)

Varya meets with her girlfriends who all think she is cray for meeting Geoffrey alone for the first time. They manage to convince her to at least not to stay in the hotel with a man she barely knows.

Little does she know there is a lot more to Geoffrey than she’s heard so far. He has neglected mention his criminal record and time in prison. When he arrives in Moscow, the two share a huge hug and tears of joy. But things get awkward quickly when they attempt to make small talk. The vibe is definitely off with these two. I’m not sure if Geoffrey is just nervous about his secrets or doesn’t have any game.

Life After Lockup Recap: Royal Flush

No other show on television gets as crazy Life After Lockup. Michael Simmons finding out on last week’s episode that Sarah Simmons had custody of the kids was wild. He had no idea about it at all. Total blindside! Speaking of love triangles, Lacey is flirting with disaster right now. She ran right to John after learning Shane cheated, but is that a better option? Neither men appear to have their lives together.

I don’t know what is going on with Marcelino Santiago, but he better not break Brittany Santiago’s heart. She doesn’t deserve it! Whatever he is hiding, he needs to come clean ASAP. On the crazy side of things, Andrea Edwards has totally lost it. She’s convinced Lamar Jackson is cheating and won’t listen to reason. She won’t even hear him out. Could Lamar have actually stepped out on his wife and risked his future?

Andrea & Lamar

Andrea attacking Lamar is so wild. So much anger in such a little person. Lamar says the condoms are not his and they are his brother’s. Andrea needs to take a moment to breathe and think rationally. Her reaction is not rational whatsoever.

Lamar tries to call his brother for clarification. Hopefully, he can put an end to this madness. Angry Andrea is a lot more terrifying than I expected. She became so incensed so quickly. I thought Lamar was about to be ended right there in that moment. RIP. His brother confirms he had condoms, but Andrea doesn’t care at all.

They show Andrea and Lamar in their confessional interviews, and they’re fighting there too. Out of everything they’ve been through, this might be the thing that breaks them. I’m not sure they can ever come back from this.

Obviously Andrea is overreacting to this condom thing, but I get she doesn’t want an STD. That’s a big concern of herself. Luckily for Lamar, she agrees to believe the condoms weren’t his. Well not for long. She’s very back and forth about what to think.

The issue boils down to the fact that Andrea doesn’t have as much control over Lamar now that he’s released. Life is different than it was when she was talking to an inmate. He’s a free man now, and they need to learn how to have better open communication.

Angela & Tony

I feel like Tony is manipulating me because I’m starting to dislike him a little less. He’s making an effort to show Angela how much he loves her, so he’s trying at least. He set up a gorgeous romantic dinner in the backyard, and it’s actually really nice.

The trust was destroyed between them. However, there’s a chance that it can be rebuilt. There might be a happily ever after for these two after all. I never thought I’d be possibly rooting for this couple, but here we are.

Tony wants to get married as soon as possible, and he wants to do her beach wedding. Alright, my heart sank a little bit. I’m not sure I want her to take THAT step with him quite yet. Go a little slower. Don’t get conned Angela. Make sure it’s right.

Cheryl & Josh

I was hoping after they broke up on the last episode, I’d never have to see Cheryl again. I was wrong. What did I do to deserve enduring this angry woman for another episode? FML.

I forgot she had a whole family. It’s good she’s actually spending time with him. She says she felt herself falling out of love with him. Good. He doesn’t deserve to deal with someone like you for the rest of his life. Nobody can fulfill the whack job needs that Cheryl has in a man.

Josh has been working a lot since the breakup, but the future is bright. Josh is saving a ton of money and might get the ankle monitor soon. He loves Cheryl’s loyalty, but he doesn’t want to feel trapped anymore. All I’m hearing from his comments is that he is free to breathe and live his life.

Cheryl thinks love is out there still in the form of a new inmate. Some people never learn from her mistakes. Cheryl might be doomed to repeat the same vicious cycle forever.

Clint & Tracie

Tracie Wagaman’s been missing for two days. WOW. Clint Brady is going to lose so much money if she doesn’t resurface in time. He wants her to want to get help, but she’s not about it at all. Why would she not want to get help? Better yet, why would she want to showcase herself on this show if she wants to keep using? I’m baffled.

I also want Clint to stop calling her his goddess. Please save us from that image. Tracie begs Clint over the phone to give her the drugs she stored in the house. What the hell?

She’s going to do hard time over this if she can’t get her act together. The worst part of this situation is the stress on Clint’s poor mother. She just wants the best for her son, but he is so determined to make things work with Tracie. It’s beginning to look like things will never get better between the two of them.

He agrees to stay with his parents while he figures out the ordeal with Tracie. That’s for the best. Some additional distance from Tracie is the smartest thing he can do for himself right now.

Lacey, Shane, & John

Lacey is actually spending time with her kids which is a refreshing sight. Unfortunately, it was just to tell her dad about her encounter with John. He has no comprehension of why Lacey is messing around with John or why Shane cheated.

Lacey sure knows how to pick em! All her father cares about is the welfare of the children which is as it should be. Lacey on the other hand is preoccupied with playing mind games with two felons. I guess getting good content for her amateur porn channel is more important than a normal life for her kids. She disgusts me.

Nothing about this woman is genuine. She thinks Shane has been using her all along, but she’s used both men since Day 1. Why do people like her and Michael always want to cry victim? Give me a beak.

Lacey’s father confronts Shane about cheating on her, but they bond over hate for John. Her dad wanted to tell Shane everything about John, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it. While they’re talking about that, Lacey calls John and asks him to take his shirt off.

WHAT A MESS OF A PERSON. She’s all over the place. Does she know how to be an honest person at all? How can she be so mad at Shane when she lies to both of them all the time?

Marcelino & Brittany

Marcelino’s cousin James calls Brittany to see where he is, but this is not good. Marcelino told Brittany he would be playing with his cousin, so she’s getting nervous. He’s never lied to her, but something is clearly up.

We saw him go into some strange woman’s house last week. What is he doing behind Brittany’s back? Whatever is happening isn’t good for their marriage at all. If he had nothing to hide, he wouldn’t be lying or evading her calls.

We know the truth about what Marcelino is doing with that random woman. He’s meeting with poker coach. I didn’t even know that existed, but do your thing man.

She wants to help him “not suck”, but he doesn’t want to hear what she’s saying. She’s telling him that he is playing all wrong. I’m glad she’s giving him some good advice, and I hope he listens carefully. It’s also good news that he’s not having an affair or anything like that. Hopefully things get better for Marcelino with his poker game. He has a lot ridding on the success of his game.

Sarah, Michael, & Megan

Michael does not react well at all to Sarah’s news that she was allegedly granted full custody. I don’t know how true it is, but she definitely deserves to win. Michael isn’t fit to parent at all. He’s way too focused on his Cash App flavors of the month.

Sarah’s therapist confirms what she’s saying to be true. She legally has custody of these children. Michael feels totally blindsided and betrayed. He wants to go to court to deal with it, and his reaction makes Sarah feel bad for him.

Michael is so good at manipulating and playing the victim. He’s hurt so many people throughout his time on the show, so I don’t feel bad for him. Karma doing its finest work.

Michael tells Sarah his new girlfriend’s name is Maria, and she recognizes it from his bank statements. Maria is just a blip on the radar Sarah, don’t worry. Michael will be on to the next thot soon I’m sure.

Also, where does Megan J fit into this story moving forward? She doesn’t really have a place. Michael actually refers to Maria as the love of his life which is so laughable. Also, why are they dragging their feet with this divorce? Get it over with!

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL HELL WAS MICHAEL SAYING WHEN HE WAS TRYING TO SAY STRATEGIC? Someone get this man some subtitles. That was not at all how anyone in the history of the world has ever said that word. I watched it a solid seven times in an attempt to process it.

Michael thinks deep down Sarah still wants to be with him. I’m not even sure anymore. I’ve been saying that for the last few weeks, but I see that many of you disagree. Whatever is going on with these two is purely toxic for all involved. He actually thinks they’d get back together quick if he wanted to make that happen. What an ego! I might actually throw up.

Sarah sitting in the middle of a parking lot yelling at Michael is a little much. Stand up and act like an adult. When she finally stands up to speak to Michael, she asks if she’s his enemy. He looks like he’s at a loss for words. For once in his life, Michael has nothing to say.

To no surprise at all, Michael says the feelings between he and Sarah are still there. WHAT WHY? Don’t do this to me. Sarah says she and Michael have the potential to be best friends. LOL. Alright. I think co-parenting is the way to go with this one. Limit the amount of one on one contact unless it’s about the kids.

Michael is going to be spending time alone with the girl’s at Sarah’s. I don’t know about that one. Maria is going to flip out when she learns about this. She already has a ton of opinions about the situation, so Sarah is in for some trouble. I want Maria to go away and leave them all alone. Why does she think she has a say about ANY of this?

Michael agrees to spend the night at Sarah’s to be with the girls, but now he has to tell Maria. She says she’s okay with it, but he lies on the phone. WHY IS HE LYING? He tells her it will only be a couple of hours, but he just told them he was staying overnight. However, all in all, this is weirdly the most likable Michael has ever been on this show.

Hey everyone who said I was wrong about Sarah wanting Michael, how about that? What do you think of her saying that Michael is still her man? CLEARLY THERE ARE SOME LINGERING FEELINGS THERE.

Vanderpump Rules Star Scheana Marie Reveals That Her Cousin Has Been Missing For Days

Scheana Shay has been a staple of Vanderpump Rules since its inception. Sadly, we have some heartbreaking news in her life to report on: her cousin Phil Tate has been missing since February 25th. He was last seen at the Westmont Village retirement facility in Riverside, California and a Silver Alert has been issued by the California Highway State Patrol.

Scheana issued a plea to help with the search Friday on Instagram, telling the public that her cousin suffers from dementia and diabetes. He has been spotted three separate times in the Mission Grove Shopping Center on February 26th but there have been no leads since.

Scheana’s family gave a statement to People magazine saying, “We are sad, scared and desperate to find Phil as he has been suffering from dementia in the last year and is unfamiliar with the area where he was reported missing. Phil currently resides on a ranch and loves the outdoors more than anything so he is most likely to be found in open land rather than the city, but anything is possible at this point and we are keeping open minds during our search.  We love our Phil and just want him back home with us.  If you think you have any leads, big or small, please contact 911 as the Riverside Sheriffs Department and the Police Department are working around the clock on this investigation.”

Scheana also posted to her Instagram stories saying, “My mom and I are here in London feeling helpless. We still haven’t found him, so anyone in the Riverside area, please keep your eyes out.” Castmate Lala Kent also shared the Silver Alert on her Instagram , tagging Scheana’s mom with the caption, “URGENT. If you see this man CALL 9-11. He needs our help.”

Scheana’s mom pleaded on social media, “He is not from the area so he will definitely be confused and disoriented. I will continue to report this all on here because the power of social media is SO insane, I never know who might see this and be able to provide ANY information to help.” She added, “Both the Riverside [Sheriff’s] Department AND the Police Department have been searching tirelessly for the last 48 hrs.” She also has an Instagram highlight on her page with additional information about her cousin.

We truly hope that Phil is found quickly and safely.

Tensions Continue With Kenya Moore & Marc Daly On Real Housewives Of Atlanta Tonight

It’s been so awkward watching Marc Daly’s interactions with Kenya Moore, I mean “Ken.” The tension is palpable and the love is, well, seemingly nonexistent. Even Kenya’s biggest haters can’t help having sympathy for Kenya watching her forced interactions with Marc.

On tonight’s Real Housewives of Atlanta episode, all of the cast members and their husbands attend Marc’s charity event. All of the couples seem pretty lovey dovey and then there’s Kenya and Marc, who are far from that. Not only that, but the ladies cannot help gossiping about the tense interactions between Mr. and Mrs. Daly. Will we actually see their split on the show? That’s the word on the street. And to be honest, I’m really not surprised. What does surprise me is Kenya’s interest in rekindling their romance.

Aside from Marc’s charity event, the ladies attend the baby shower that Cynthia Bailey throws for Eva Marcille. Will it be a day full of love and optimism in honor of baby Sterling? Hopefully, but this is Real Housewives of Atlanta, after all. It’s tough for them to get through any kind of event without some sort of shade or drama.

And speaking of shade and drama, NeNe Leakes is dreading the upcoming Real Housewives of Atlanta trip to Greece. I don’t blame her for that one. Those trips look like they are way more stressful than they are actually fun. I honestly view them as work obligations more than an actual vacation.

NeNe calls up her girl Wendy Williams to get advice before the trip. Wendy encourages NeNe to be loving and positive, but I just can’t imagine NeNe following that advice. Ever.
