Big Brother 21 Spoilers Week 2 Power of Veto Competition Results (07/06/19)

The Big Brother 21 houseguests spent the majority of the day waiting around for the Power of Veto to start, as have we. Anxiety was at an all-time high for nominees Jessica Milagros and Kemi Fakunle, but everyone else was just excited about the possibility of winning a trip to Fiji.

A few days ago, the Big Brother houseguests got a sneak peek at the upcoming Power of Veto competition. Big Brother 20’s Brett Robinson and Winston Hines made a special appearance (via video) to announce the Love Island themed Veto competition. A trip to Fiji (and the houseguests assumed other prizes) would be up for grabs.

This got the houseguests pumped to play for those other prizes. Head of Household Jack Matthews selected Isabella Wang to play in the Veto, Jess picked Jackson Michie to play in it it, and Sam Smith’s name was picked by random drawing. This made this week’s Veto players Jack, Jess, Kemi, Bella, Jackson, and Sam.

Sam, Jackson, and Bella already said they wouldn’t be going for the Veto, but would instead be fighting for the prizes. Jack also wanted to go for the prizes, but Christie Murphy and Jackson said that he should definitely go for the Veto. Jackson said he would rather win a prize, but if it came down to Jess, Kemi, or him winning it, he would have to take the Veto.

With so players actually wanting to win the Veto, this really meant this week’s competition would be between Jack, Kemi, and Jess. Jess was supposed to be this week’s pawn, but her trying to convince Jack and others that she didn’t start the women’s alliance could shift the target. However, Jack still really wants Kemi out the game. This is a must win Veto for both women.

So who won this week’s Big Brother 21 Power of Veto?

Big Brother 21 Spoilers: Week 2 Block Nominations (7/5/19)

On Thursday’s Big Brother 21 episode, Jack Matthews answered the final Head of Household question right to take this week’s critical win. It came down to a red, white, and blue battle between Jessica Milagros and him. Emotions were running high after Jack’s win because Jessica really wanted to win to see her family. Others just didn’t want Jack to win because they knew he might target them.

Jack had a little longer than most Head of Household winners have to decide on this week’s nominees. The nomination ceremony was delayed because of the houseguests and Big Brother 21 crew getting to celebrate the 4th of July. He also had to wait for this week’s Whacktivity competition to take place.

The delay didn’t really matter because Jack had firm targets in mind: Kemi Fakunle and Jessica. Kemi and Jack have been rivals ever since they got in the Big Brother 21 house. Jack tried all last week to get her out of the house and game, but Christie Murphy change of heart killed Jack’s plan last week.
Now with Jack in control, he’s definitely going to try to get out Kemi, or one of her allies with Jessica. Jessica has been trying all week to get girl power brought to the house. She wants the girls to stay loyal to one another. Well, not this group of girls. A few of the women have already told the men what Jessica has been trying to do, which makes her a dangerous player to the men.

Big Brother 21 Episode 5 Recap: Eviction Night for Ovi or Kat?

Tonight’s episode will feature the first live eviction of the summer in the Big Brother 21 house, but will it actually be an eviction? Last week we watched as David Alexander was banished from Big Brother game with promises by Julie Chen Moonves that we had not seen the last of him. Will tonight’s evictee, Ovi Kabir or Kathryn Dunn, have another chance to earn their way back into the house?

In addition, Ovi won the first whacktivity power which entitled him to force the HOH to nominate two new houseguests to the block for eviction.  Unfortunately for Ovi, he won the power a day late and he is now a dollar short with his back against the wall to try and save his game.  Could his Big Brother power could be walking out the door with him tonight? These questions plus many more will be answered on Big Brother tonight.

Power of Veto Ceremony Fallout

Now that Sam Smith won the Power of Veto (POV) and used his power to save Cliff Hogg III, Head of Household (HOH) Christie Murphy was forced to nominate a new houseguest to the block. Her choice was Ovi, which means either himself or Kat will be evicted tonight…or sent into sequester to fight another day.

For the first time ever, the evicted houseguest will not be sent home and will continue to live inside the Big Brother 21 house.  This is all according to our beautiful host who promises this new twist will change everything.  WHOA! Did Julie really just say that the evicted houseguest will stay inside the house?!? WHAT?

Ovi admits that he is very much blindsided by his nomination to the block. Ovi believes he is in an alliance with HOH Christie and Jack Matthews, Jackson Michie, Analyse Talavera called Fam Five. Ovi breaks down in tears to Christie who reassures him that he was only put up as a pawn, and he has no worries this week with being evicted.

Eviction Campaigning

Ovi begins the campaign to stay in the Big Brother 21 house right away. He visits the all of the houseguests to insure he is safe this week from eviction. Although he is the target right now, everyone convinces him that they will not vote him out of the house.

Meanwhile, Kat needs to play it cool as to not put a target on her back, but her paranoia gets the best of her. Instead of laying low, she continually asks everyone if they are conspiring against her. Michie reveals in the diary room that Kat is campaigning to be evicted rather than maintaining control. She is literally exhausting the houseguests with her beyond paranoia attitude.

Big Brother 21 Episode 4 Recap: Who Won Power of Veto?

Christie Murphy is the first Head of Household (HOH) of the summer in the Big Brother 21 house. As many HOH’s wish to accomplish, Christie is trying her best to have as little bloods on her hands this week as possible. Christie has not been a fan of Kathryn Dunn since day one so she was an easy pick for the block.  Poor Cliff Hogg III got the second nod to the block for possible eviction this week.

Who will win the golden Power of Veto (POV)?  Will they use the POV to save either Cliff or Kathryn from the block?  If the POV is used, who will Christie nominate in their place?  All of these questions and many more will be answered tonight on Big Brother 21.
