Big Little Lies is returning for a second season--yes, this is after winning numerous Emmys and Golden Globes in the miniseries category, a second season was not planned from the start, according...After many seasons of being the most blindly loyal wife of all time to Joe Giudice, Teresa Giudice has finally shared her true feelings about the legal issues her family have endured. After the death of her mother, Teresa expressed how she wishes she wasn’t “away” (in jail) for so long instead of spending time with her mom.
Teresa is talking about how angry she is with Joe and whether or not Teresa will stick by her husband is being used as a story line on Real Housewives of New Jersey. Now, she has fans wondering if she will divorce the man she used to refer to as “Juicy Joe” thanks to a photo that she posted with a divorce attorney.
Us Weekly reports that the photo Teresa shared on Instagram of herself out to dinner with a friend was initially captioned with, “Dinner with a great friend getting great advice.”
Naturally, everyone who saw the photo clicked the username of the person Teresa tagged and saw that her profile had the words “Divorce Attorney” in it. This woman’s profile was public, but now it’s private, which is understandable given the attention Teresa received for this caption.
A lot of people assumed that Teresa’s “great advice” she received from a woman who happens to be a divorce attorney meant that she was considering ending her marriage with Joe before she changed to caption to, “Dinner with a great friend lots of laughs” with the hashtag #webothlovefood.
Divorce attorneys can have friends too. Who would actually post a photo of a meeting with divorce attorney? I believe it is safe to assume that Teresa was just out to dinner with a friend, who just happens to be a divorce attorney, but maybe I’m just naive.
Teresa contemplating splitting from Joe has been teased in previews for the next Real Housewives of New Jersey episode, so maybe she’s just trying to drum up publicity for the show. Maybe it’s just an innocently careless caption? Or maybe she really just gave zero f-cks and posted a photo from her divorce planning meeting. I have to assume it was either thoughtless caption or a part of promoting the show. It would be wild if it was the latter though. That would be truly savage. Then again, she didn’t stick with the initial caption.

I was actually really pleased by last night’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta. In addition to the usual drama and bickering, all the ladies came together to film a PSA produced by Kenya Moore about domestic violence. It was thoughtful, emotional, and really prescient – so here’s to RHOA setting a good example for once! Of course we also had to squeeze in some necessary nonsense.
It’s been THREE long weeks since we’ve checked in on our peaches. They went to San Fran, that ended in disaster, and now the disasters have been toted back to Atlanta in borrowed and fake Birkins and trudged on by Jimmy Choos.
Since Sheree Whitfield has been so open about her past with Bob, Kenya decides to ask Sheree to help with the PSA. It turns out there was some wire crossing – Sheree assumed this meant she was sharing equal billing as producer (with what experience?) and Kenya assumed Sheree would be simply filming a segment and rallying the other participants.
Kenya wants Sheree to stay involved (and she likely doesn’t want anything compromising the project’s famous cameraman), so she puts on her bigger person crown by offering a consolation prize: Sheree can be her intern. So long as Sheree leaves her Kim Zolciak wig in the trashcan from where she dumpster dived it. But Sheree doesn’t work for free. Girl cannot afford to with those mansion taxes and all! Kenya accepts that Sheree can be her intern in spirit. Sheree does work for accolades, so however little work she actually does, as long as she’s passionate about the cause and shows up, she gets the credit.
Of course that doesn’t mean Kenya is actually including Sheree in any of the decision making, which Sheree doesn’t seem to understand. Despite their meeting she’s STILL under the misnomer that she’s part of production. Girl… check yourself!
Also, interestingly, Sheree reminds Kenya that her mocking her for having an abusive partner way-back, is what initially inspired Sheree to share her story. So I guess, that’s one way to turn lemons into vodka soda with lemon. Go Sheree I guess!
Kenya‘s inspired to raise awareness not because Matt Jordan terrorized her last year, but because when she was 16 she was in a physically abusive relationship. All of the sudden, Matt has nothing to do with nothing. Which given his fame hunger, is probably a good thing, but an interesting about-face, right? Just me? I’m mean, I’m fine with leaving any one of Kenya’s fake men in the dust where he belongs.
Cynthia Bailey is at the lake, living mom life. She’s got her cut-offs on, and she’s cooking linguini (or is that angel hair?) for Noelle when Will calls. Noelle and Cynthia act like Obama was on the line, instead of just Will threatening to invite himself over if Cynthia wasn’t making a vegetarian meal. Even though she’s supposed to be ‘dating around and not jumping into a relationship’ she promises him the “whole Thanksgiving turkey” if he wants to drop by right now! Also, Noelle wants to meet him. Ladies – simmer down, your linguini is boiling over! Will doesn’t accept Cynthia’s offer because stage 5 clingers wind up drowning people in their lakes he doesn’t want to drive 200 miles from civilization to interrupt mother-daughter time. So what sides was Cyn gonna offer with that turkey, I wonder?
NeNe Leakes is now BFF with Marlo Hampton. They bonded over the very deep and important things in life: fashion, laughter, and booze. It’s like going back in time to college-friends then you graduate and realize you actually have nothing to talk about but the parties you went to, but we’ll see! Marlo comes over and NeNe fixes her vodka orange in wine glasses, while wearing a kaftan with marabou Choo’s. The whole effect was very Auntie Mame (old movie and musical – so good. Watch now for amazing fashions).
Since Marlo and NeNe are now BEST FRIENDS, and Marlo is jonseing to be a Housewife, she proposes hosting a tea at her house so NeNe and Porsha Williams can have a conversation and become BEST FRIENDS, too. NeNe goes from eating a chip, to cleaning her ear out, to eating a chip again – because the idea of Porsha makes her itch.
NeNe is also shocked because Marlo never lets anyone enter her lair – lord only knows what she has going on at those ‘Hamptons’? A hidden sweat shop? Marlo is actually a vampire, which is how she looks so young? She has geriatric male sugar daddies strapped into a bondage cage while she beats them with Hermes belts and Louboutin Pigalles? Anyway, NeNe will finally get in there – and Porsha is worth that.
Marlo also decides to invite Cynthia as the peace maker. Someone sane has to be there to make sure the whole place doesn’t go up in smoke when Marlo tries to turn the kettle on!
Porsha accepts the invitation, because she and Marlo tentatively started to become friends – over boogers – in San Fran. Also, Porsha gets Marlo’s call while she’s at work and was in a good mood after some heavy-duty flirting with her co-host Rickey. Yes, Rickey of Rickey Smiley. Porsha insists they’re just friends who regularly give each other the sniff test, but after her disastrous blind date Rickey is looking – and smelling – pretty damn good. They did seem to have chemistry.
Of course, the tea was a straight up fiasco. Marlo’s house is amazing, though, and I think based upon her decor and her rather impressive diplomatic skills they should just make her a Housewife already. Unfortunately, neither Porsha nor NeNe were in forgiving moods. Even if Marlo spiked the tea cups with Vodka Cranberry, and Cynthia’s nipple fell out before dessert, dubbing her “Titty Cent.”
NeNe is STILL mad because she was there for Porsha during her divorce, but Porhsa dropped her like last year’s It Bag when her life turned around. NeNe is clutching at two unanswered texts as proof that Porsha didn’t appreciate her enough. Porsha thinks because she tweeted about NeNe’s accomplishment and visited her on Broadway, that they were all-good. Which is shitty friendship politics, of course, but you know I really don’t care. AT ALL. Because it was SO FREAKING LONG AGO. And you know what, Porsha is right – NeNe doesn’t care either, and neither does she!
All NeNe’s heat is for show and it’s obvious, so I’m glad Porsha called her out on this fake outrage and pointed out how stupidly immature and petty it all is. After the disastrous meeting, Marlo sighs that she will never again open up her home to these bad guests. Well, there goes our chance of checking out her basement diamond mine.
Kandi Burruss is having OLG Restaurant issues. Again. They had to fire the general manager and now the actual OLG gang is full of complaints about such trivial maters as the chef’s pants being dirty (they’re COOKING), the location of the hostess stand, and the uniforms. Todd and Don Juan are acting as interim managers but not managing things too adequately from the bar with free drinks, so they bring in a potential candidate who is so sweet, but resembles a potato.
The interviewee did all his OLG homework, though, including pointing out that their Yelp reviews are like 70% 3-stars or less, which means they need Todd to step away from the OLG and back to doing whatever it is Todd does elsewhere. Kandi and the krew appreciate the candidate’s readiness but aren’t sure he can handle taking-on Mama Joyce and Aunt Bertha (who could?!), and we all know Kandi will do anything and everything for her mama.
Kandi also visits Sheree at the Chateau in the one room Sheree’s permitted to enter. I swear the rest is rented out on Air B&B. Anyway, Kandi shares that NeNe has been gossiping that Sheree’s man is a con-artist. Which um, YEAH HE PRETTY MUCH IS, but Sheree is in denial and instead reminds us that both NeNe and Gregg have mugshots in their past, and those in glass houses – or houses made of sticks, other people’s money, and Rent-A-Center shouldn’t throw stones. Wait – am I talking about Sheree or NeNe? I’m getting all my tax issues confused, clearly.
At least Sheree won’t be inviting Tyrone to move into the Chateau upon his release from prison! She ain’t that big a fool. So she claims. Although Kandi admits that she once was. Um, why wasn’t Mama Joyce standing guard?! Or maybe that’s why Mama Joyce IS always standing guard?! Fool her once – you will never get near Kandi’s money again!
For the PSA, Kenya has Shamea Morton and Cynthia’s mother share their stories, and all the Housewives read a statistic about domestic violence from a script Kenya wrote. Some, like NeNe and Sheree, have dealt with partner violence, while others merely have known other women who have, but they’re all participating equally. And this non-drama day came together beautifully as a tribute to the support of women when they put aside their Housewives egos and desperation to impress Andy Cohen as juicy peaches.
Cynthia’s father was so abusive, her mother once pulled a knife on him but stopped herself from using it for the sake of her children, and I cried along with Cynthia. I understand more clearly why Cynthia’s mother had so many reservations about her marriage to Peter. Not that Peter was abusive – at all – but I can see why her mom would be wary of her children’s romantic partners given her past. Cynthia hugging her mom and telling her how proud she was, was a beautiful and earnest moment.
Unfortunately, Sheree was in a car accident on the way to the shoot, injuring her already damaged back, when a woman rear ended her. Kenya got the call in hair and makeup. Just when they assumed she would miss the filming, a tearful and emotional Sheree arrived, barely hanging on. After some hair and makeup, plus support from Cynthia and Kenya, Sheree rallied to do her portion.
Afterwards, the women all hugged and stood together to film the final message. It was emotional and I’m proud of Kenya for pulling this together. I can’t wait to watch it – on national TV, where I think it definitely belongs. Unlike Life Twirls On.
TELL US – SHOULD NENE AND PORSHA LET THIS NONSENSE GO? IS CYNTHIA TAKING IT TOO FAR WITH WILL? WILL SHEREE LET TYRONE MOVE INTO THE CHATEAU?

One of the constant story lines from Season 8 of Real Housewives of New Jersey is the opening of Joe Gorga, Teresa Giudice, and Melissa Gorga’s Italian restaurant. Joe supposedly bought the restaurant without consulting Melissa about it first. Then it became a family affair with all three of them and Joe and Teresa’s father helping out as well.
With all of the publicity around the restaurant, it would make sense for the place to be popping off – especially if Joe, Teresa, or Melissa ever announce that they’re popping in on social media. Now the restaurant is closing down with the hope of looking for a larger location.
Even though the restaurant hasn’t even been open for a whole year, Teresa, Melissa an Joe’s lawyer James J. Leonard told Page Six, “They are in the process of closing down their current location and seeking a larger location.” I love this lawyer. He is everywhere, from Teresa’s book meeting to that Envy fashion show last year. If anyone is loyal to this family, it’s him.
James added, “They are seeking different management to run it.” He didn’t say why the family is seeking different management, but I’m assuming that will play out as a story line next season.
He explained, “Their focus is getting a bigger flagship restaurant in New Jersey and then expanding.” There’s no indication on how well the business is actually doing, but the fact that they supposedly want a bigger location should be a good sign.
The lawyer added, “I would anticipate the reopening of the restaurant to be a family affair and Teresa would be receptive to taking a more expansive role.” Of course. Teresa is the queen of the show and the biggest draw to this restaurant. A bigger presence would only help.

Y’all, cheers to a fresh 2018! What better way to kick off the new year than with Kody Brown’s lustrous lion mane and TLC’s gift that keeps on giving…Sister Wives! As the kids age, the family has no shortage of cringe-worthy courting and mama drama to last well into the next decade. How exciting is that?!?! There are so many more children to marry off or alienate. Meri and Janelle have yet to run screaming from the cul-de-sac compound. I still haven’t figured out what concoction of happy pills are in Christine’s medicine cabinet. Endless story lines. Endless.
Christine is fixing a feast as the Browns prepare to meet Tony’s family. Kody and Christine are nervous because Tony’s parents speak very little English. In fact, Christine is in full blown panic mode because she didn’t publicly accept Tony when she first met him. What will Tony’s mother think after Christine initially disapproved of Mykelti’s relationship with her son? Of course, now Christine welcomes Tony with open arms, but still…yikes. Tony admits that his mom is freaking out too. It is nerve racking to meet such a big family! Christine jokes that Tony believes Kody has four wives so he can relax while they do all the work. Wait, are we sure he’s kidding?
Interrogating Tony about his family, Kody announces there is nothing more awkward than a language barrier. False. Naked men are more awkward according to Tony. Christine questions if Tony’s family has any experiences with polygamy. While they haven’t, he has explained the family dynamic. Tony shares that some of his family members consider Kody to be an idol for having four women. Kody retracts his earlier statement about language barriers. Clearly macho stereotypes translate across cultures.
The wives are scrambling to put multiple giant tables together in Christine’s living area, but it is a tight squeeze to fit all of their guests at one long table. Robyn is distraught. She is a premiere hostess, and there is no room for error when her family is trying to put on their best dinner party to welcome Tony’s crew. Kody is stressing about dividing up the tables. He threatens to walk out of the meal because of the close quarters. How can all of these people eat shoulder to shoulder? Mykelti correctly diagnoses the table stress as anxiety about meeting Tony’s family. She just keeps setting the table and hoping for the best.
Kody quickly retreats from the table engineering to play host to Tony’s arriving family. Christine is in awe of Tony’s mother’s beauty and kindness. She is kicking herself for forgetting the universal language of hugging. Tony quickly interrupts the love fest to make an inappropriate joke about polygamy in Spanish. Apparently, Tony’s role is that of the awkward, pot-stirring jester. I’d say that’s about right!
Kody takes several minutes to drone on in a toast while everyone fidgets in their too close for comfort chairs. Robyn differentiates the meat and vegetarian lasagnas by cheese type and asks Tony to translate for his family. He tells them there is lasagna and lasagna. Bon appetite! Robyn wants to hear stories of Tony’s childhood which forces Christine to interject with a story about six-year-old Mykelti who couldn’t keep her hands to herself because she was a minion of Satan. The Browns are clearly mastering In-Laws 101.
Tony’s mother changes the subject to say that Mykelti makes her home a happy place. Christine teases that her daughter and Tony are straight up chaos in her home. Just kidding, she screeches across the table–this dinner is amazing. After everyone finishes eating, the men and Mykelti migrate to the den to commentate on the women doing the dishes. Kody recognizes that Tony has very traditional gender roles, but he’s got his hands full if the thinks Mykelti will clean up after him during their marriage.
Mykelti wrangles the youngest of the Brown clan to ask if they will serve as flower girls and ring bearer. Truely isn’t excited about her role given she just hung up her rose petal basket from Madison’s wedding. As the evening draws to a close, Kody waxes poetic about whether his loins will come out of retirement for another child. Christine is thrilled to see Mykelti’s bond with Tony’s mother. while she hopes the young couple will wait until they are more financially stable to start their family, she’s ready for a grand baby. Both Tony’s family and the Browns leave the dinner excited about the upcoming nuptials.
While the Brown clan seems to be growing, Meri is considering a big purchase…a bed and breakfast that was once owned by her great-great grandparents but was sold out of the family. She’s been conspiring with Christine’s mom Annie in hopes of buying it back. Their plan is to have Annie live in the home and continue to run the business. The seller asks for a history of the original owners while giving a tour. Meri is keeping her plans a secret to see if it is feasible, and she is concerned her family will not be supportive of the idea. The home doubles as a wedding venue, so perhaps she can save Christine some money on Mykelti’s big day…or any of the other gaggle of children who may one day get married. I haven’t seen Meri this excited since she got her wet bar. Annie is completely on board at the prospect of becoming business partners with Meri as the women giggle about the possible opportunity.
The following day, Meri calls Robyn over to her home to discuss the option of opening the bed and breakfast. She feels that Robyn is her most rational and supportive sister wives. Mariah enters in the middle of their conversation, and it’s clear their relationship is still very strained, especially after Mariah came out as homosexual to her family. As Meri explains further her plans for the bed and breakfast in the home her grandmother grew up in, Robyn is concerned with how often Meri will be away from the family. Meri shares that Annie will run the business, but Mariah asks the realistic questions. How will her mother afford it?
Robyn worries that the physical distance of the bed and breakfast will be Meri‘s escape. After Meri’s catfishing incident, Meri became very distant from Robyn which allowed Robyn to cultivate a closer friendship with Christine. She hopes that by supporting Meri’s new dream, she can prove she’s still a good friend to her as well. Meri can’t even discuss Robyn’s closeness with Christine. Her feelings on their bond is the opposite of a wet bar. Robyn coaches Meri on how to manage her expectations when pitching the idea to Kody and the other wives.
Given that Mykelti and Tony are racing to the altar, the couple has to nail down a wedding venue stat. Sorry, Meri! Kody, the wives, maid-of-honor Aspyn, and the happy couple go to check out some event spaces, and look! There’s Janelle! She quietly speaks on the number of people at Maddie’s wedding in comparison to Mykelti’s guest list. It will be a dry event, and Tony is tasked with making sure his relatives don’t sneak in any six packs. The group is quickly learning that Tony is going to be the bridezilla with his color schemes and lantern ideas. She’s only had thirty seconds of screen time, but I already feel so sorry for the wedding planner if she wins this gig. Kody is shocked to learn the couple is banking on four hundred guests. Do they know how expensive that will be? Meri isn’t saying anything, but you know she hopes this wedding isn’t going to be cutting into her bed and breakfast fund.

It has been a tough few years for Real Housewives of New York alum Jill Zarin and her husband Bobby Zarin. Sadly, Bobby has been battling thyroid cancer with some ups and downs since 2009 which has to be strenuous for both of them. On the bright side, it appears their marriage is stronger than ever.
Although it’s been a difficult period for the couple, there is some nice news for them: they just celebrated their eighteenth anniversary, which is a big deal.
Jill shared a photo on Instagram to celebrate the milestone occasion. She wrote, “Happy 18th! Anniversary to the love of my life Bobby Zarin. Bobby is the most perfect man I know. He never loses anything, never forgets anything and when I think he is wrong… he is always right! I will post some photos over the last 20 years… truly a Love Story. Enjoy! I will be on air The Lisa Wexler Show live right now. Call in! Google it!”
There’s no doubt that the love between these two is real. That was a very sweet message about Bobby… up until the self-promotion at the very end of it. Really, Jill? Was that really necessary? Couldn’t she have plugged her appearance in another post? That’s a #TotalJillMove for sure. The caption was full of heartfelt sentiments unti she asked people to call in and ask her questions and “Google It.” I am all for self-promotion, but only when it is appropriate and that timing was questionable at best.

The cast of Stranger Things is no stranger to an award show red carpet, but it was new for season two addition Sadie Sink. "This is my first Golden Globes," Sink told E! News'...I am a loyal viewer to every single series in the Real Housewives franchise. I’ll stick around for the less than stellar seasons and the newer shows that are still finding their footing. I’ll even watch episodes I wasn’t “that into” multiple times. What I’m saying is that I will consume every bit of Real Housewives content that I possibly can- whether it’s good or bad less than what I expected.
One show that I have always enjoyed watching is Real Housewives of Atlanta. This show has constantly delivered. Sure, there are some episodes that are less than explosive, bu there has never been a whole season of the show that has missed the mark- which is not something that can be said about the other Housewives shows. That’s why I’m so here for The Real Housewives of Atlanta after show that we are about to be blessed with.
On Bravo’s The Daily Dish, it was announced that The Real Housewives of Atlanta After Show that’s starting on January 7 at 9PM. The ladies in the cast will dish on the episode that just aired every Sunday night. I wonder if this will replace their Bravo blogs since most of them never participate in those anymore! I have no idea how far in advanced these episodes have been taped, but I can just never get enough of the Atlanta ladies and their quick quips. They are all hysterical.
There was a short-lived Vanderpump Rules After Show a couple of seasons ago, which I was into (of course). It will be interesting to see if this RHOA after show ends up fizzling out as well. Maybe other Housewives shows will follow suit. I couldn’t even imagine the New Jersey ladies sitting on a couch discussing this season’s episodes. Now that is something I would love to see as well. Then again, I watch everything that Bravo puts out.
