Matt Clines -- 5 things to know about the houseguest competing on Season 19 of Big Brother.

As the season finale of Little Women: LA approaches next week, the drama has reached an all time high – even for Terra Jole’s group of argue-maniacs.
In her blog, Terra recounts what went down on that boat in Alaska between Briana Renee and her serial-cheating husband, Matt Ericson [Grundhoffer]. And if you can believe it, there was actually more putrid filth coming from Matt’s mouth than even the editing allowed! Terra also lays blame at pretty much every one else’s feet for her own problems. So, business as usual.
Terra begins by recapping the “boat of infidelity,” commenting, “If anyone is ready to get off this boat, it’s me. I wish there was an ‘intervention’ over what we are all hearing. Hearing Briana getting stepped on by Matt again is making my ears bleed. The last thing I want to do is butt in again to protect Briana and have the tables turn on me when it’s actually their own marriage problem. Personally, Briana needs friends — and help. Her self confidence is so low that she feels Matt is the best she can get.”
In her People blog, Terra shares some behind the scenes moments that didn’t hit the air – and because they involve Matt, they are of course totally vile and disturbing. She writes, “What you didn’t see in the footage was that Matt was yak’n about how his family never trusted her and they made him an extra bank account for a rainy day like this. Plus, he doesn’t get enough sex, etc. … puke, etc. How twisted and messed up are you to tell your wife that in front of everyone? Then, Briana is acting like there are things she needs to change! GIRL, he just admitted to cheating on you!!!!!! Get me off this boat, I’m feeling less intelligent just hearing all of Briana’s ignorance!”
So, let’s get this straight: Matt is claiming his parents set their unemployed, deadbeat son up with secret funds just in case Briana dumps his cheating, lying, abusive butt out? Oh, that is RICH. Small suggestion to Matt for future financial planning: GET A JOB.

After expressing support for Tonya Banks’ plans to marry Kerwin, Terra launches into her assessment of Jasmine Sorge’s beef with her. She defends, “Ironic that the one person that I’ve done nothing to wanted to have the notorious intervention. Girl, bye. What was I addicted to? Arguing? I’m fighting for something that I feel strongly about and you’re fighting me because I’m fighting? Huh??? Don’t get me wrong, I love Jasmine, but pick your battles. Why fight for other people’s issues? It’s exhausting and frankly not worth your oxygen!”
But we all know that Terra’s issues have always – and will always – be about Christy McGinity Gibel. Terra writes, “Here’s the truth. Do I care about Christy? No. Do I care if we are good or bad? No! Honestly I’m just over holding on to resentment. The fact that Christy got a taste of what I went through with the bar fight ‘concussion’ fiasco, and can’t let this video that she did go, is just as dumb as us being friends.”
Even when Elena Gant tried to share her issues with Terra’s horrific behavior, Terra chalked it up to Elena being a “fake friend,” focusing again on her feud with Christy rather than her own ridiculous behavior.
Terra argues, “Elena backing up Christy is just a sad excuse for her having issues with me. She doesn’t give two hoots about Christy!!! Elena just doesn’t know how to voice to me how she really feels. Even hearing her state that she wouldn’t have apologized to me if she didn’t think I had cancer … well I don’t, so why do you pretend to be my friend? The layer of fake on a real friend sucks the most. It makes me question if she really is a real friend. Personally, this trickles back to DWTS. She hasn’t been okay with me since then.”
Next week’s LWLA finale previews Kerwin asking Tonya to marry him, Briana and Matt going to counseling (in preparation for their spinoff), and Terra finding herself without many friends left, which is exactly what she should expect after acting like a tyrant. But I’m not sure she’ll see it that way.

Big Brother 19 kicked off the first night of live feeds. A week of no feeds left most viewers scrambling to figure out what happened in the Big Brother 19 house. Apparently, a lot!

We missed some major Big Brother action, including a huge alliance forming, some showmances, and a self-eviction. We watched the first few hours of Big Brother 19 live feeds to gather information on all the dramatics going down in the game. Here’s our first Big Brother 19 live feeds highlights recap: Night 1:

Most Big Brother fans are already moaning about the possibility of showmances, but it seems like they’re going to be a lot of them this season. However, the only official showmance seems to be between Jessica Graf and Cody Nickson. Yes, the only person who can make Cody crack a smile actually likes him too. Shocker.
Cody and Jessica have no problem showing their affection, they have already been kissing and straddling, and it’s only day 9 in the Big Brother 19 house! Apparently, their showmance has created a bit of tension. Alex Ow made it known that she finds Cody attractive, and according to Alex, Jessica is jealous of that fact. This tidbit will be important later on in this summary.
An unofficial showmance is happening between Mark Jansen and Elena Davies, who have already kissed. However, things aren’t as smooth for them. Mark seems unsure of the status of his showmance with Elena. He discussed it with Dominique Cooper. Dominique also mentioned that Elena is a little jealous of Mark and her friendship. This could lead to trouble in the future for Mark.
Christmas Abbott and Paul Abrahamian are starting to develop a flirtmance. Raven Walton also has a flirtmance with Paul, and also with Matthew Clines. The rest of the Big Brother 19 house seems showmance free for the moment.

In the first few hours of the Big Brother 19 live feeds, we didn’t get a confirmation on who won the prize, and who got a punishment. However, apparently the whole house is aware that someone got a reward and punishment. Ramses Soto told Jillian Parker that he was the one to receive the punishment, and she should stay away from him to not face the consequences of his misfortune.
However, her and Alex have become outcasts in the Big Brother house. Therefore, there is a chance Ramses used this line to distance himself from Jillian, to protect his spot in the game.

Cody seems to have succeeded in forming his ultimate alliance, but a few players have changed. Dominique and Mark confirmed that they’re in an alliance together with Jessica, Cody, Matt, Elena, and (possibly) Raven. We have yet to confirm the other members of this alliance. However, Josh Martinez mentioned him, Jillian, Alex, Jason Dent, and Kevin Schlehuber being outcasts. It also seems like Ramses, Christmas, and Paul Abrahamian aren’t included in the big alliance, but not outcasts enough to be huge early targets.

A lot of people hung out in Cody’s HOH room, and fawned over Jessica and him, including Paul. The two seem amicable. So we’re not sure if their one sided feud still exists. Josh may have garnished enough hate from Cody and everyone to minimize Paul’s target…for now.

We saw a little of this on last night’s Big Brother episode, but the Josh hate has grown. Josh’s big Miami personality seems to have turned him into the most hated Big Brother 19 player (by the house). He spent most of the first few feed hours isolated. People also sat in rooms discussing his behavior. It’s not looking good for Josh’s potential game. If he doesn’t win POV, or HOH, next week, we expect the entire house to target him.

The Have-Not room includes a bed with spikes. We also know Jillian, Ramses, Josh, and Jason are the current Have-Nots. There might be a couple more players (like Alex) but it wasn’t confirmed in the first few hours.

The circumstances surrounnding the sudden end of Megan Lowder‘s game is still unclear. However, some sort of fight happened between Josh and Megan, and possibly more houseguests. The houseguests seem to imply that she hit him, or almost did. Basically, all the lies and listening to conversations caught up with Megan. Players called her out on it, and she couldn’t handle the tension. The diary then called Megan in, and she spent three hours in there before leaving the Big Brother 19 house.
We’ll have to wait until Sunday’s episode to see all the drama surrounding Megan’s early exit.
Due to her exit, Cody, as head of household, had to nominate someone else. He put Alex up next to Jillian. Alex believes it was due to jealousy, because she believes Jessica feels threatened by her possible crush on Cody. We’ll have to wait and see about that on Sunday’s episode as well.
The first couple hours of Big Brother 19 feeds were exciting, so hopefully it continues this way. Make sure that if you’re interested in seeing the live feeds, you sign up for CBS: All Access. It was a messy first night, it’s just going to get messier from here.

Abby Lee Miller will self-surrender to prison and begin serving a one-year sentence for bankruptcy fraud on July 12. Instead of contrition, remorse, or humility after pleading guilty to hiding $750,000 in her bankruptcy filing, Abby continues to maintain her innocence and insist she’s a “nice Catholic girl” who was an unwitting victim of other’s financial schemes.
“It’s a little surreal. I know that I am not a criminal mastermind,” the Dance Moms star decried. “I listened to the wrong people. I trusted people.”
She also argued that so many of her educated, successful friends were shocked by news of her indictment, thereby proving her innocence. “They were shaking their heads like, ‘This is not Abby Lee Miller! She is not a criminal mastermind. She doesn’t even know how much money’s in her purse right now.’ And that’s the truth.”

Abby blames herself on one count, though. She faults her own benevolence for the unintentional law-breaking. She was too concerned with creating amazing futures for her dancers to deal with finances.
“I just never had to take care of the money, so I didn’t. I put someone else in charge of that, and that was wrong,” she bemoaned. “I was so worried about the dancing and worried about these kids that aren’t my own kids and making stars and making them winners, I didn’t worry about my own win in business.”
Finally Abby is forced to confront reality. “So many things scare me,” she admitted. Like her creature comforts, of course! Will she be able to sleep in socks?! “Because my feet cramp. Yup, I know that may sound silly,” Abby acknowledged, “but that is an actual fear.”
And quite contrary to her Dance Moms persona, Abby doesn’t plan to practice her terrorizing tactics to intimidate some fellow prisoners. She was advised: “‘Keep your mouth shut, stay to yourself. If there’s an argument, if something’s going on, just look the other way, walk away.””
“That’s not me! That is not me – at all!” she conceded. What is ‘Abby‘ is getting right up into the mix, but her fellow prisoners won’t be Christi or Kelly, and the stakes are much higher than solos, pyramid pecking orders, or being ‘The Next Maddie‘.
Also, sucking up only endears Abby to dance moms. She hopes her fellow prisoners will stay very far away from her. She confessed to Extra! that she has serious concerns about “rape, molestation, sexual harassment” while locked up. “I don’t want anyone to think I’m patting myself on the back — I’m not,” she elaborated. “But I hope that, you know, they’re like, ‘Ewwwww…’ Maybe that’s something I shouldn’t worry about?”

“I have to stay busy. If I thought about it every day, I’d just sit around and cry.” Well, maybe Abby will discover yoga like fellow reality star/convict Teresa Giudice did. Perhaps there’s a reality show in that… Teresa and Abby open a yoga studio to deal with post-prison life?! You know you’d watch.
Of life after release, Abby is flippant. “I don’t believe that people change. I think that I can learn from this, absolutely. ” Perhaps Abby should take a couple math classes while locked up?

The Den of Temptation officially opened on last night’s Big Brother 19. Host Julie Chen informed viewers that they could vote on who gets enticed with the week 1 temptation. This Big Brother 19 twist involved three weeks of safety for one houseguest. This might completely throw a wrench into the new HOH’s plan.

Tonight’s Big Brother 19 episode revealed who won the first Head of Household title. After an intense competition, he or she reigned supreme. The first HOH has a lot of power because he or she could set the tone for the season.
Read on to see who won the first Big Brother 19 Head of Household competition.
Big Brother 19 held its first Head of Household competition on the second night of Big Brother premiere week. The competition involved Nicole Franzel reentering the house as host of the head of household battle. The players had to divide themselves inTo teams. The team colors were orange, yellow, blue, and pink, and there were four players on each side.
The players had to move themselves on a vine to get from one side to another. Once they got to the other side, they had to grab an apple, and then carry it back. The first two teams to get all 7 apples faced off for Head of Household.

The first two teams were blue and pink. The blue team had Paul, Mark, Raven, and Megan on it. The pink one had Matt, Cody, Dominique, and Jessica. The blue team let Paul fight for HOH, and the Pink team let Cody.
Cody and Paul had to then try to balance apples on a tree. The different color apples had different size weights. The first player to get all their apples balanced, and then run and hit his buzzer won.
Cody Nickson won the first Big Brother 19 Head of Household competition.
He then nominated Jillian Parker and Megan Lowder for eviction.
However, he might try to backdoor Paul…unless a Den of Temptation saves him.

Last night’s Big Brother 19 premiere left an explosion on the house. It set a tone that anyone could leave the game at any moment. This makes fighting for power in the Big Brother 2017 game even more important, whiich makes tonight’s head of household competition one of the most important ones of the season.

Unlike entering the Big Brother house first, sorry Alex Ow, there is no curse associated with being first HOH, and how it affects the rest of your game. If anything, being the first head of household usually helps it. Winning HOH lets you form strong game ties at the beginning and cut critical deals.
You’re also more likely to be invited into a big alliance if you hold the power. Additionally, the first head of household gets away with moves that would hurt a player later on in the game. Tonight someone wins this coveted title. Will they use their new Big Brother 19 power for good or evil? To find out, read our Big Brother 19 premiere night two recap below.

Last night, Big Brother 19 host Julie Chen announced that each week America gets to tempt houseguests with possible prizes. These prizes will generally relate to power, safety, and money. During the two hour Big Brother 2017 premiere, she announced the first one: The Pendant of Protection.

The Pendant of Protection grants one Big Brother 19 houseguest safety for three weeks. Julie also mentioned that with each prize comes a punishment. Big Brother fans had until today at 12:00 PM PT to vote on who they wanted to receive this power. Once a player receives a power, they cannot go back to the Den of Temptation. A player also can refuse their offer.
Today, a Reddit user discovered that the CBS source page revealed the next two Den of Temptation offers. The first one is called the Ring of Replacement. This has the power to:
The winning houseguest will be tempted with the Ring of Replacement, which will give them the power to play in any Veto Competition they want this summer! If they’re not one of the six houseguests playing, they can swap places with one of the three players chosen by random draw. The Ring of Replacement can only be used once, but remember, every temptation comes with a consequence.
The next power is called the Halting Hex. It works like this:
The winning houseguest will be tempted with the Halting Hex! Whether on the block or not, they can halt any one of the next four evictions during the live show, making it a non-eviction night. But remember, every temptation comes with a consequence.

The Ring of Replacement and the Halting Hex can extremely alter the game. The Ring of Replacement can easily save a player from being backdoored. It can also ensure someone has no chance to fight for their safety.
The Halting Hex can completely give someone another life in the game. We wonder what punishments could be in store for the Big Brother 19 houseguests with such extremely powerful rewards. It will be an interesting Big Brother summer for sure.
