I will never forget Teresa Giudice yelling about Danielle Staub being engaged nineteen times during the first season finale of Real Housewives of New Jersey. After all, it did lead to that iconic table flip. Now, Danielle is engaged for the twentieth time (at least according to Teresa’s count).
Danielle’s boyfriend Marty Caffrey reportedly popped the question over the weekend! I’m feeling like the engagement will make into her story line on the upcoming RHONJ season since the show is currently filming!

After the news that Jacqueline Laurita left the show, I didn’t expect much drama from the upcoming season of the New Jersey installment. That’s why I was overjoyed when I found out OG cast member Danielle was back. Love her or hate her, Danielle always brought the drama. Danielle may be a lot of things, but boring is not one of them.
Needless to say, I am looking forward to her Real Housewives return and I’m interested to see how much she reveals about her love life. During her two seasons on the show, Danielle was not at all shy when it came to talking about her sex life, so I can’t imagine that much as changed and I’m so here for it.
According to E! News, Marty popped the question over the weekend and the reality TV cameras were present. So it’s pretty much a guarantee that this scene makes the cut. I mean a marriage proposal is a pretty major thing to leave out.
A “source” told E!, “The day he proposed, Danielle said her life is now perfection.” A reality TV return and a proposal are definitely reasons to celebrate.

I like watching the girls compete on Dance Moms, but Abby Lee Miller is the one who made the show worth watching. So I can’t help being curious about how Cheryl Burke will do now that she’s taking over for Abby. I’m sure she’s a nicer coach and way more enjoyable to be around.
Personally, I think the show would be great to watch if the trash talking between Abby and Cheryl was included in the episodes. These two have had a lot to say about each other in the press. As expected, Abby did not take too kindly to Cheryl describing the girls as “traumatized” thanks to Abby.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Abby said “I think it’s a joke.” Eh. I don’t know. I can’t imagine what it would be like to have Abby yelling at me every day, but then again the money and attention from being a reality TV star would probably soften the blow of even the worst insults.
Abby explained, “In my studio, every single day, I had numerous producers, [choreographer] Gianna [Martello] and some type of child advocate service person who’s the tutor/social worker who is there, who watches … everything that’s said, everything that goes on. So, how could any traumatizing be going on? That’s ridiculous.” I’ve watched every episode and I feel like I would be traumatized if I had to interact with Abby every day. I mean, I was a little bit traumatized watching the show from the comfort of my own home.
Abby continued, “I think that’s a really rough statement and I would never say that about Cheryl.” Of course Abby wouldn’t say that about Cheryl. Cheryl actually seems like a kind and nurturing coach. Abby warned, “I think she needs to watch her mouth.” Those are definitely some fighting words, but Cheryl will obviously have the last laugh since Abby’s prison term is fast approaching.
Abby shaded Cheryl by saying “Doing a show for three weeks is nothing like doing a show for seven seasons. The Us Weekly article shaded Abby’s comment by pointing out that Cheryl was on Dancing With the Stars for nineteen seasons. I hope that this beef ends up making it into the episodes next season.

While we've only seen the trailers, as...After Kim Kardashian was held up at gun point during that horrific robbery in Paris last fall, I figured that everyone in the Kardashian family (and extended family) would have increased their security. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be the case since Scott Disick’s home was burglarized over the weekend.
Thankfully Scott wasn’t home. He was away on a hosting gig in Vegas which was highly publicized which has people wondering if the timing was more than just coincidental. Plus, there are other elements that indicate this break in was most likely an inside job.

According to a report from TMZ, the robbery occurred “through a rear door of Scott’s Hidden Hills home” at around 1AM Sunday morning. Weirdly enough, Scott’s house was burglarized almost exactly a year ago. Is that coincidence? Or is there more to it.

Scott’s neighbors told TMZ that they didn’t hear an alarm go off which raises the suspicion of it being an inside job, but some reports claim it’s because Scott has a silent alarm. TMZ also reports that “there was more car activity than usual at the house Saturday morning” which is very vague, but does serve as confirmation for the “inside job” theory.
Another TMZ article reports that the perpetrator(s) “knew exactly where the security cameras were before breaking into the house through a backdoor because they moved the cameras so they could enter undetected.” Yep, that definitely sounds suspicious to me. Thankfully Scott and his kids weren’t home, but now it seems like he needs to figure out who can’t be trusted in his social circle.

The ONLY interesting part of the last Real Housewives of New York episode was a conversation that wasn’t even filmed between Carole Radziwill and Barbara Kavovit. The conversation was recorded because Carole still had her microphone on, but we never actually “saw” the two of them talking. Not only did Barbara question the then-impending union between Luann de Lesseps and Tom D’Agostino, but it was even more captivating because she fought her hardest to stop the episode from airing.
This woman actually took legal action to prevent the episode from being shown and of course that really just built up the intrigue more than anything. She wasn’t saying anything that the other cast members and even the fans haven’t expressed before, but the hushed tones and the super public legal squabble were the only entertaining aspects of such a forgettable episode.

Carole took to her Bravo blog to discuss her relationship with this Barbara person and the now-infamous conversation that she didn’t realize was recorded.
Carole reminded us all, “Hot mics are notorious. The list of people, who have mic’d and forget, is long and impressive. Bush Jr. called New York Times‘ Adam Klymer a ‘major league ***hole.’ Obama said ‘jackass’ when someone mentioned Kanye West. Our dear President Trump had that little thing about p**sies with Billy Bush.”
Carole referenced one of my favorite scenes in RHONY history: “Hot mics can cause trouble. Remember, for instance, St. Bart’s, Season Six … you know, Luann? Remember when she whispered on the phone in French about her pirate lover, to get her French and American stories straight so her rest-of-the-time boyfriend wouldn’t find out?” Truly iconic.
Carole continued, “Yeah. She remembers it, too. She had a mic. It was on. We’re all mic’d, all the time, they’re always on. It’s this little thing they kind of discreetly weave into our LBDs, then off we go. It doesn’t make a habit of reminding us it’s there. And it’s easy to forget when no cameras are directly in sight.”
And finally Carole got to the much-talked about conversation with Barbara: “So at the end of this episode you heard a conversation between me and a very nice woman named Barbara K., yawn and you’ll miss it.” I was yawning for the entire episode, but this was the only interesting scene.
Carole downplayed the drama: “At the end of the event, after frenzied bidding and maybe a little frenzied booze, Barbara and I found ourselves in a corner comparing our Christmas plans. No cameras, we’d finished filming for the night. (Or so I thought.) But I still had a mic on so some of our conversation was recorded. No secret recording. Just one hot mic. If you read Page 6, you’d think we announced the nuclear codes.”
Did Page Six play up the drama or was Barbara the dramatic one for trying to make a judge prevent the episode from airing? I’ll go with the latter. Carole recalled, “I told her I was going to Aspen, she said she was spending time with family in Florida, then going to ‘the wedding.’ We talked for less than two minutes, Barbara expressed concern about her good friend’s nuptials. It wasn’t unfounded concern. Most of Luann’s friends were concerned. Very concerned (go back six scenes, to watch Ramona [Singer] concerning away with Kathleen and Missy).”
Carole continued with the Countess shade when she asserted, “Luann is lucky to have a friend like Barbara who knows a hell of a lot more than she’ll ever tell. Trust me.” Like what? Now that’s some shit I would love to know. Hopefully Barbara “forgot about the microphone” at another point this season. I would love to hear more, especially since this season has been pretty lame so far- especially in comparison to the epic drama that went down last year.
Carole concluded, “So let’s recap: Avery’s [Singer] wiser than her mother, Dorinda [Medley] likes some free space, Tins [Tinsley Mortimer] is a hot French-kisser and Bethenny [Frankel] sometimes cries. That’s kind of it. Unless you read Page 6. Then, well…you gotta wonder a little.” BARBARA ASKED A JUDGE to prevent a reality TV episode from airing and Page Six is responsible for the drama? Yeah, right.
TELL US- DO YOU THINK BARBARA HAS A RIGHT TO BE UPSET THAT HER CONVERSATION MADE IT INTO THE EPISODE? OR SHOULD IT HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED SINCE SHE (MOST LIKELY) SIGNED A RELEASE TO BE FILMED AT THE EVENT?

Since we didn’t have a new episode of Real Housewives of Potomac last week, I almost (key word, ALMOST) forgot about everything that happened in the last episode with Ashley Darby and her scorched earth approach to gossip. But two casualties that are not about to forget anytime soon are Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant, who let’s face it, doesn’t really have a dog in the fight but just can’t steer clear of a chance to use her highly entertaining shade anywhere she can. And yes, I do find Gizelle to be petty and mean girl-ish but she really does make me laugh so I can’t help but have a soft spot for her whole overblown persona. What would the show be without her?
But back to the beef. Ashley has been running her mouth a little too much about what’s possibly going on with Robyn’s marriage/not marriage to Juan and OK, it is a little weird the extent of her interest in the matter. Why does she care if Robyn gets played a hundred times from Tuesday? Charrisse Jackson-Jordan and Gizelle also tried talking to Robyn about her situation but like true friends, they did it privately and while offering understanding and support.

Which is I guess why Robyn brought Gizelle along to go confront Ashley while she’s pulling a double shift as a bus boy at Oz? Clad in a green lace mini dress, Ashley is rushing around the restaurant like an emu with its head cut off, trying to keep the place afloat on the one night they happen to have more than one reservation. She’s actually so busy that she seems to have lost her damn sense and was actually excited to see Robyn and Gizelle roll up, faces frozen in annoyance, and greets them happily.
Robyn decides she’s going to get right down to business and tells her to stay the eff out of her business. Well, ok then! Ashley is clearly taken aback but doesn’t miss a beat defending herself and uses some weak excuse about how if someone tells her something, she is going to say it. Robyn gets even more agitated and the second her finger goes up, Ashley is telling her to get it out of her face. This just makes Robyn angrier than a kangaroo getting its pouch grabbed and she bosses right up to Ashley, actually sticking her finger in her face.
They trade insults about the state of each other’s lives and Ashley claims she won’t be talking about them anymore because she’s in her own lane, where there is a lot of traffic. Gizelle and Robyn stomp out, with Gizelle pausing at the door to yell at the bar “Who eats emu??” and with that, the green eyed sisters are gone. Ashley immediately goes to call Crocodile Pervee and whine about the encounter.
Monique Samuels is taking a walk down memory lane and treating us to a tour of her humble marital beginnings. She brings her cousin/paid minion to one of her FOUR HOUSES (or is it FIVE HOUSES now that they dropped an all cash offer on a multi-million dollar home in Potomac?) in Ashburn so she can order him to fix thing up to rent it out. While the house isn’t anything to write home about, Miss Mo is hanging onto it for sentimental reasons because that’s where she lived with Big Drawers when they first got married. But the house has even more history since it also served as Big Drawers bachelor pad before she came along and he has the indoor hot tub on a screened in deck to prove it. Eeeesh. Either way, Mo is way too busy to continue being the Property Manager for the Hot Tub Time Machine and has naturally hired her cousin to take over, which he seems thrilled about.
But Monique has to put her marriage first and upon her Pastor’s orders, make more time for her and Big Drawers. So they go fishing by a lake and Miss Mo humble brags some more about how she manages to land such a catch in the form of her husband, who was the Player About Town before she came along. So how did she do it? Well, he kept telling her he didn’t want to settle down and she acted unimpressed and that was the end of that. That’s right people, it takes a lot to impress Miss Mo so don’t come at her with drawers any size below XXXXXXXXL, mmmmkay?
Karen Huger is spending some of her empty-nester free time for the greater good and she is busy working with a charitable organization called PAVE, which helps shatter the silence of sexual violence. It’s a cause that is near and dear to her heart because Karen herself was raped in college. Here we see a whole different side of Karen, one that is vulnerable and strong all at the same time. She explains that it almost ruined her life and how it caused her to build emotional walls to protect herself but ultimately, learned to forgive her attacker. Karen is completely stripped of all of her hard exterior in this moment and we are shown what could possibly be her true self – a woman who has survived something truly traumatic, but is finding the courage to turn it into something good.
Onto someone else who is showing her softer side, Charrisse is out with her daughter, Skylar, buying a fancy journal upon her therapist’s suggestion. She awkwardly tries to explain to Skylar how much her dad loves her but that he’s wavering on his love for Charrisse. I have to feel bad for Charrisse in this moment because she is clearly struggling on how to approach such a difficult family topic with her kids, who are certainly old enough to understand but still need to be emotionally protected nonetheless. Charrisse is also trying to set an example for Skylar, so she doesn’t think this kind of treatment in a romantic relationship is OK. When Skylar says she is used to her dad being gone and feels ok, Charrisse cries and embraces her daughter, feeling the weight of what is happening to her family.
Another family that is pulling apart at the seams is the Dixon family, regardless of how deep Robyn buries her head in the proverbial sand. But the scheduled basketball camp must go on and Robyn is at the helm of organizing it. Because of that, she says she is too busy to “bother” Juan with the rumors of him being out with another woman but we can all see it’s Robyn who doesn’t want to burst her own bubble. Juan eventually storms upstairs to complain to a producer that he’s too old for this and if it weren’t for his kids, he would be long gone. An oblivious Robyn wanders around the house with a smile plastered on her face and it’s right there that we see just how badly she is living in denial.
Despite that deep denial, Robyn has agreed to meet up with Charrisse and resident Bravo therapist, Dr. Jeff, for frittatas and free therapy. Robyn is still against going because she thinks it implies that there is something to fix (ummm there is!) but is willing to listen to what Dr. Jeff has to say. It doesn’t take long for him to crack Robyn and she cries when he gently explains to her that as her boys get older, they will see that their parents aren’t really happy. Therapy is looking better and better at this point and I hope Robyn uses it as an outlet for her feelings.
It’s time for the PAVE event and for Karen’s sake, I am really hoping the ladies can keep it classy, for REAL this time. Karen has the same thoughts and immediately puts Ashley on notice that there will be no tomfoolery tonight. Ashley promises not to start anything and then immediately approaches Gizelle and Robyn to play nice. A little too nice. She claims it’s in the spirit of being mature but come on, we all know she is poking the bear(s).
Karen gives a speech about her experience that is eloquent, heartfelt and empowering, all at the same time. The ladies are in awe of her strength and seem to leave with a newfound respect for the Grande Dame and its well-earned this time.
Unfortunately, Ashley couldn’t let an opportunity go by to make something happen and as the ladies are leaving, she attempts to speak with Charrisse, who is having none of it. She won’t even look in Ashley’s direction so Gizelle has to step in and tell Ashley maybe another time and place would be better. Monique obviously didn’t think that suggestion applied to her and then immediately tells Gizelle she wants her number so they can talk at a different time. Gizelle, being Team Petty For Life, says she will think about it. That was obviously not the response Miss Mo was looking for and gets defensive. Ashley snipes that the menopause is real and I have a little tip for Ashley – maybe lay off the menopause talk because last time I checked, you won’t be young forever. That’s the funny thing about aging – it applies to everyone! Monique whines to Ashley that Gizelle is obviously intimidated by her, which is the only card she can play when it comes to the other women.
Charrisse and Gizelle take off and yes, I know their reactions were childish, but to their credit, anytime someone says they want to talk about something, but not right here or now, it always opens up the door for it to happen right there are right now. So I don’t totally blame them for shutting it down and heading out, leaving a trail of frost in their wake.

Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy are out for redemption, but could an injury sideline their plans for the top prize? The Dancing With the Stars pair are going into the season 24 finale in...I’m all for using reality TV to do something significant and spread awareness for causes that matter. With that said, I also have to admit that the last Real Housewives of New York episode was rather forgettable. As far as the story lines go, pretty much nothing happened. Again, I want to emphasize that I think it’s great that the whole cast was genuinely charitable, but the episode itself was just a little blah. Nevertheless, Bethenny Frankel had some interesting things to say about Ramona Singer after the episode aired.
Of course I’m happy that there wasn’t actually a scandal disrupting a charity event, but maybe there could have been a hook up or some humorous quotes to get me through the episode? Is that asking for too much? Apparently so.

Bethenny talked about the start of her B Strong charity in her latest Bravo blog entry. She wrote, “To launch #BStrong my charity for women in crisis is an honor and a gift that I hope to share with women who cannot help themselves. We are just getting started.” Good for her. It’s nice to see Bethenny using her Real Housewives platform to do some good in the world.
The one interesting thing about this event was that Bethenny’s boyfriend(?) Dennis Shields was present for a hot second. Bethenny shared, “My dear friend Carole [Radziwill] was kind enough to donate $1,000 that morning and Dennis was so generous to donate $10,000. I’m sure many of you want to know about the mystery man.” Yes. The fandom has many questions, but all Bethenny revealed was “He is a good person and has been a friend for decades that I care about very much.” As a friend? More than just a friend? What’s the deal, B?
Bethenny declared, “At the moment, I am not in a relationship by choice. I really choose to spend my time with my daughter and working on passion projects such as this very important charity.”
I thought that maybe it would have been awkward for Bethenny to be in the same room with Tom D’Agostino after she infamously revealed his Regency make out session last season, but even that went well. Bethenny said, “The Tom thing was fine. Luann [de Lesseps] is right that he just moved to the next topic. Who could blame him? They are getting married, he has made his share of mistakes, but I wish her the very best. I hope this really works out.” I guess we shall see…
It’s clear that Bethenny vs. Luann is so last season. Of course, the major beef of this season is between Bethenny and Ramona Singer. Still, when I say “beef,” that might not be the right word since Bethenny just wants nothing to do with her and there’s no real back and forth between them, but I’m sure there’s a showdown coming at some point this season. Otherwise, I would be severely disappointed.
Bethenny explained, “As I told Dorinda [Medley], if something or someone isn’t working in your life, remove it. Ramona doesn’t work in my life, so this relationship has shifted. I wish her all the happiness in the world.”

50 years later, there might finally be justice for Sister Cathy Cesnik. The Keepers' director Ryan White worked on the seven-episode docu-series for three years before its May 19...As much as the cast tries to make Kathryn Dennis the villain on Southern Charm, at this point the audience has really turned against Landon Clements. From flirting with everyone, to being malicious toward Kathryn, to that weird sexual tension with her and Thomas Ravenel, the list of off-putting behaviors just keeps on growing. When she joined the show, Shep Rose had a thing for her, she didn’t go for it, and eventually she professed her love for him because she had no story line on her own. Now, there seems to be a lot of tension between Landon and Shep and I’m not talking about the sexual kind.
Shep (just like the rest of the viewers) is not a fan of Landon’s “I’m better than you” attitude. Ever since he called her out for her obnoxious comment about hanging with “billionaires” and “not millionaires” it’s clear that she’s been trying to instigate him.

Shep had a lot of insight to share during an interview with Kate Casey for her Reality Life podcast. Kate asked what we were all wondering about Landon: “Do you feel like her persona is accurately portrayed on TV?”
Shep said, “She shoots herself in the foot like I’ve never seen, but we have people on this show who I think all shoot ourselves in the feet. If I introduce something, I have to be cognizant of the fact that a million and a half -or however how many people are watching- and it better be defensible. I better have a good reason to say something nasty or do something. I’d say that about my life too, but you’ve got to be a little extra careful [on a TV show]. I don’t know. Sometimes I feel like she doesn’t have that governor inside her that’s like ‘How is this going to do you any good?’ by saying this thing.” She clearly doesn’t, but I’m sure that there are plenty of overzealous trolls who remind Landon of everything she says on the show in her Twitter mentions after each episode ends.
Shep also pointed out the contradiction in Landon’s personality: “She says she wants peace and love, but she can be kind of aggressive. She has two people living inside her, I think sometimes. I love the hippie girl- the smiling, laughing hippie girl, but sometimes this other girl comes out and I think that’s when we have problems between she and I. And I think that’s when the audience has problems because the audience is paying attention. You can’t get anything past them.” Exactly. No one is here for Landon or her desperation.
As much as I love Shep and anyone who calls out Landon for her antics, we all have to admit that Southern Charm is basically the Thomas and Kathryn show- which has to be very exhausting for Shep. He admitted, “I don’t really care. If it means I can take a break and giggle in the corner with Cameran [Eubanks], that’s what I would rather do.” I get that, but Shep and Cam in the corner is not my ideal show.
Shep continued, “I get frustrated. I don’t know who to listen to. Thomas has the bigger microphone sometimes and he gets the benefit of the doubt so that’s when I defend Kathryn, but then she does something so outrageous.” I can’t imagine being friends with both of them. That has to be so stressful to be in the middle of.
Shep added, “She’s always in control around me. I don’t see crazy on her. I see crazy on Thomas, but I see him more. They can both be very charming and god darn psychopathic. I like them both for a lot of different reasons. They’re cool by me. I don’t have a problem with them.”
