Exclusive: The Anonymous Season 1 Winner Nina Twine Dishes on the Heart-Racing Finale

The family legacy continues! After 12 episodes of deception and strategy, Nina Twine became the first-ever winner of The Anonymous. She outsmarted the competition, and she’s $80,000 richer because of it.

In the season finale, we watched Nina dominate the final Face-Off. She chose to steal Andy King’s box, and it turned out to be the winner. Literally, she took the money right out of his hands.

Now that Nina has her first reality TV win under her belt, Reality Tea chatted through the details of her final Face-Off strategy, and what it means to be the first-ever Anonymous champion.

Nina Twine is here to stay, after becoming The Anonymous Season 1 winner

There’s nothing better than the glow of someone who just became $80,000 richer. When we spoke to Nina, she hadn’t fully had a chance to celebrate the win, but she was definitely riding high.

“Nina is here! Nina knew that, but now y’all do,” she triumphantly declared.

We asked if her phone had been blowing up with congratulatory phone calls, and she admitted that she hadn’t really peeked. She told us that her phone was on “Do Not Disturb” until the end of the day because she’s got her priorities straight. She’s got to work, and it’s that kind of laser-sharp focus that got her to the finish line in the first place.

“I have to take care of Nina first,” Nina admitted. “You have to make sure you’re prioritizing things.”

She continued, “I know what I need to prioritize,” I know what I need to let go. I know how to keep everything moving and keep it straight.”

The secret to a successful Face-Off

Throughout the season, we watched Nina masterfully navigate the game without anyone ever really finding out she was the daughter of Survivor star Sandra Diaz-Twine. A two-time Australian Survivor player herself, Nina made it to the final four with a game packed full of social strategy, all while keeping herself under wraps. Once she made it to the final Face-Off, she had to put it all to the test.

As we saw in the finale, Marcel Cunningham won a perk for the Face-Off that gave him the power to choose the order in which they’d play the game. However, Nina immediately spoke up and asked to go third. Marcel obliged, and the rest is history.

Nina was quick to say she wanted that third position. Is there a benefit to it? Maybe. Nina explained how going third in the Face-Off was a perk for her because it provided the most options. If you’re thinking about applying for Season 2 of The Anonymous, take notes.

“Being first, you only have one option. Being second, you only have two,” Nina explained.

“Being third? You have about three or four, and then the person after that only has one. So that person can steal from three people or get a new box, so the odds are in my favor,” she continued.

Of course, Nina didn’t rely on just that to make it to the finish line. She explained how she spent the entire game studying her competitors. When it came time to make her decision in the Face-Off, she relied on all of that knowledge. But what would have happened if Marcel didn’t give her third position?

Marcel’s game-defining decision

After winning the power of The Anonymous, Marcel had the game in his hands. Not only did he get to choose the order of the game, but he put himself in the ending spot. Obviously, that did not end up working in his favor, but Nina appreciated his Face-Off strategy.

“I would have won whether I was first, second, third, or last,” Nina teased. “But no, I think he made the best decision for himself. I really did.”

We all know that hindsight is 20/20, so Nina said she wouldn’t be surprised if Marcel felt differently about it today. However, she still felt confident that he made the best decision for his game.

“No matter what had happened if I had that win box, I would have done the same thing,” Nina explained.

“Marcel probably would have made the same choice and he would have questioned what I had done, who had it, or whatever,” she continued. “I think he made the best decision at that time for him.”

Why did Nina go after Andy’s box?

During the Face-Off, Andy selected the blue box. When it was Nina’s turn, she decided to steal that box, which turned out to be the right move. She doesn’t have x-ray vision, so what was it that made her grab Andy’s box? Studying.

“I had been in a Face-Off with each and every one of these individuals more than once, so I know what they look like when they have an at-risk or a safety box,” Nina explained.

“I also know I have taken a box from Andy and I did not take a box from Marcel and what their reactions were when I made my decision,” she continued.

“Watching Andy in previous Face-Offs, he moves a lot, he talks a lot,” Nina recalled.

During the final Face-Off when he grabbed the blue box, Nina said his reaction was totally different. He went into silent mode, so to speak, and that tipped her off.

“He just doesn’t move, and I’m like, ‘Okay,'” Nina recalled. “It’s kind of like when you see a kid get caught with something and they don’t want you to see them. I’m like, ‘This is weird.'”

Based on her observations, Nina felt very strongly that Andy had the winning box. Even if she was wrong, she still had a backup plan.

“In all honesty, I really did think he had the win box. I really did, but I thought if he doesn’t, maybe I can give Marcel a chance,” Nina admitted.

“He’s the last person. I can really give some information,” she continued. “But that wasn’t the case, and I wanted to hold on to it. Sorry, Marcel. My lips are sealed.”

Making mom proud and making Nina proud

Going into The Anonymous, Nina had a lot riding on her shoulders as Sandra’s daughter. During the finale, she admitted she felt the weight of her mom’s legacy and how important it would be to take home the win. It’s literally in her DNA!

Now that she has earned her first win, there’s no doubt she has made her mom proud. If you need proof, just check Sandra’s social media. She’s been bragging about her daughter ever since the finale aired. Meanwhile, Nina feels her own sense of pride in the accomplishment, which she knows is just as important.

“As the first-time players for the Anonymous Season 1, we didn’t have any kind of roadmap, so I knew going in there I wanted to contribute to that first roadmap.” Nina reflected.

“I would love for one day somebody to say, ‘I want to play like Nina, but put my own spin on it,’ she continued. “That’s what I want, and that’s what I think I did.”

Larsa Pippen Planning Major Renovation on New House

There’s been a lot of changes going on with Real Housewives of Miami and House of Villains star Larsa Pippen. For several months, she was in an on-again off-again relationship with Marcus Jordan. Last season on RHOM the two seemed inseparable, so it was quite the shock when they broke up. Marcus recently made it known they were officially dunzo – and this time for good. So, with that drama behind her, what’s a girl to do? Why, buy a new home, of course.

When does Larsa have the time to renovate her new property? The entrepreneur confirmed RHOM will be back on our screens, and they are now filming. Larsa also recently filmed House of Villains Season 2. And the model is out on the town and dating again, but “laying low.”

Still, with all that going on, she was able to purchase a home. Larsa recently spoke about her new investment, as well as her past home purchases. She also dished about a potential renovation project.

Larsa was asked on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast if she won the grand prize on House of Villains, what would she do with the money? Which happens to be a whopping $200,000. But to Larsa, that amount was only good for … a closet?

She answered, “Well, I just bought a house, so maybe I would redo the closet or something.” Larsa added, “It’s gonna be so good.” That is going to be some closet!

Meanwhile, Larsa had previously dished on finding her Miami penthouse. She had said, “I looked at so many homes. I just couldn’t find a house that I really loved, and when I walked into this penthouse, I just felt like it was a mansion in the sky.”

But what really made it special was that she had purchased it all on her own. Larsa shared, “I paid for it with my own money, I didn’t use any of my money from my divorce. I’m really proud of myself. It’s my first real investment.” And now she has another new home to call her own.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5, Episode 3 Recap: Fun in Floatopia

We’re back with the recap for Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5, Episode 3. Last week, Gary crashed the tender into the rocks while driving at night. After struggling with dinner the first night, Chef Cloyce knocked it out of the park on night two, even surprising the guests with a little rap. And Daisy made it crystal clear to Gary that she’s not putting up with any of his nonsense this season. Here’s exactly what went down in BDSY Season 5, Episode 3: “Let the Bottles Hit the Floor.”

What happened in Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5, Episode 3?

In this week’s episode, Gary gets frustrated with a deckhand whose inexperience is showing. Daisy discovers that Danni is hypersensitive and easily overwhelmed. A misunderstanding with the chef leaves Daisy steaming that he’s trying to “throw her under the bus.” And Cloyce’s decision to hang out with the guests results in an angry captain wondering if the chef understands that he’s here to work. Here are some of the highlights from BDSY Season 5, Episode 3.

Broken bottles are everywhere when the Parsifal III goes for a sail

Since Gary crashed the prop tender last charter, he pulls out the jet tender for this charter. The problem is that Gary’s the only one of the deck crew who knows how to drive it. So, he gives Emma and Keith a crash course in driving the jet boat. It maneuvers a little differently than the prop boat, so they need to practice with it.

The guests requested to arrive at anchor rather than at the dock. So while Gary goes to pick them up, the rest of the crew gathers in the cockpit to greet them. As soon as the guests settle in and Daisy gives them their tour, it’s time to sail.

Engineer Davide – who once accidentally married another dude – drives the boat while Captain Glenn supervises raising the sails. Once the boat starts to keel, everything below deck begins to slide around. With a crashing sound, several bottles of alcohol hit the floor (hence the name of the episode). Ugh. That must smell terrible, not to mention how much money just crashed to the floor. What happened to stowing everything away, like Daisy said?

Diana is upset about all the broken bottles. “I closed it!” she insists. “It’s a sailing yacht! Fix the f*cking cupboards!” Apparently, the alcohol cupboards slid open, even though they were closed.

Daisy agrees that the cupboards were closed. But now there’s broken glass and splattered alcohol everywhere.

“It’s a complete f*cking sh*t show,” Daisy interviews. There goes her plan to be “super zen about sailing” this season.

“I think I’m getting drunk just from the smell!” Diana says, as she helps sweep up the broken glass.

Emma has a lot to learn about being a deckhand

Chef Cloyce is preparing a paella for dinner. Yum. I’ve always wanted to try that.

“This charter, I’m really looking to prove I am all about being a team player,” he says. “I want to contribute to, hopefully, a big tip at the end of the charter. Someone’s got to pay the f*cking bills around here.”

The theme for the evening is Bohemian Chic, so Daisy tells Danni to just go for it with her table decorations. She’s not worried about it looking tacky. “The tackier, the better,” Daisy says.

As Emma sits on deck looking at her phone, there’s an odd banging sound. After a few thuds, Gary realizes what it is.

“Oh, my God,” he exclaims, running back out on deck. It seems as though Emma didn’t tie the tender up properly, and it’s slipping away. Fortunately, Gary tied the stern up, so it hasn’t gotten totally free. That would have been a hard one to explain to the captain.

“You can’t leave a tender banging into the boat,” Gary says in frustration as he jumps into the tender to check the hull of the yacht.

“Scratches all down the hull,” he complains to Emma, who can only apologize. He shows her how to tie up the tender so it won’t come loose again. Gary might be problematic, but he was right on this occasion.

Danni overthinks the table decorations

Danni is already having an anxiety attack about her table décor. She worries about having her name on something “tacky.”

But Daisy assures her, “I will never, ever let you look bad, okay? You’re doing amazing. I will make sure you’re doing great. You don’t have to stress.”

Daisy clarifies that she should have said, “over the top … like, popping.”

“Think of American Fourth of July,” she explains to Danni, “where they just go super all out. That’s what I meant.”

At least Danni’s meltdown teaches Daisy that “she cares, which is a huge plus. It also tells me that she’s hypersensitive, and I’m gonna have to watch my words.”

It doesn’t seem that’s going to last the entire season, however. Daisy has already been teasing stew drama to come.

Chef tries to blame Daisy for a miscommunication

The guests love their paella and seafood, but there’s a snag with dessert. Daisy asks Emma to tell Cloyce that they’ve cleared the table, so he can heat up the desserts. Emma’s in the galley washing dishes and passes Daisy’s message along.

But somehow, Cloyce doesn’t quite get the message. “[That’s] just not how things work,” Chef says in a confessional. “Deckhands should just be completely removed from the scenario. I need Daisy to come on the radio and say, ‘Hey, we’re cleared.’” He’s a little bit of a diva.

“Me and the chef are gonna fight,” Daisy whispers to Gary.

“A, where do you think all these big, giant plates came from?” Daisy says in a confessional. “And B, communication works both ways. You have a radio. Ask me.”

Don’t mess with Daisy, Chef. She’s the HBIC. You think you’re in charge, but you’re not. Plus, she’s already on edge without Colin.

“I’m on your side,” Daisy vents to Gary. “Don’t f*cking start throwing me under the bus. That was the second [time] he’s tried to throw me under the bus.”

“Cloyce,” Daisy interviews, “back the f*ck up. Do not think that I’m going to be taking this sh*t.”

Glenn loses his cool when he discovers Chef is out playing with the guests rather than prepping lunch

Following breakfast, the guests will be going to Floatopia. The deck crew has blown up all the floaty toys to create a floating island, and Gary located “the perfect location.”

Cloyce tells Daisy he’d really like to go with them.

“How will you make lunch?” she asks. He says he’ll just prep a salad and put some chicken and salmon in the oven while he’s gone. I have a bad feeling about this.

Cloyce interviews, “After quite a few days of hard work, getting some of that fresh Spanish sunshine is quite lovely.”

When Gary asks Cloyce if he needs to take him back to the boat so he can prep lunch, Chef says, “I’m good.”

Meanwhile, back on the boat, Glenn worries, “We’re a bit pressed for time now. Guests eat at four, but we are still leaving at five.”

And when Glenn takes a cruise through the galley, he comments, “I don’t see much prep in here.”

Glenn gets on the radio and asks, “Does anyone know where Chef is?”

When Gary answers that “he’s over here with us,” Glenn nearly loses his sh*t.

“What?! What the f*ck is going on?” Glenn mutters.

When Gary returns to the boat, Glenn tells him, “Chef’s gotta come back in time to prep … Get him back here, NOW!”

“He’s not here to have fun,” Glenn says in a confessional. “He needs to be ready to serve at four … What’s he thinking?”

90 Day Fiancé’s Big Ed Backs Out of ‘Impulsive’ Engagement

Another day, another failed engagement for 90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed Brown. After getting engaged to a 29-year-old fan named Porscha Raemond, the two have called it quits.

It’s a bummer, but unfortunately, we all saw this coming from a mile away. Big Ed and Porscha met at a fan meet-and-greet in a Florida sandwich shop. Within 24 hours, Bid Ed had fallen in love. A month later, it’s all gone downhill.

Big Ed pulled the plug on his engagement

When Big Ed decided to pop the question to Porscha, he obviously didn’t have time for a proper engagement ring, so he had to get creative. He found a paperclip, unfolded it, and fashioned it around Porscha’s finger. It could have been the greatest love story ever told, but Big Ed confirmed via Instagram that he and Renee have gone their separate ways.

In a since-deleted post, the 90 Day Fiancé star admitted that getting engaged was a little “too soon.” After all, he and Liz Woods just broke up (again) earlier this year. He needs some time to focus on himself.

“Love is a crazy thing… I did something that was impulsive, I asked this girl to marry me and after considering… It’s too soon and it’s not really what I want, obviously,” Ed explained.

He continued, “After talking to my family, I realized that I don’t wanna get married. I wanna be single. So I wish her – Porscha – the best in life.”

There’s no word on how Porscha is handling the breakup or if she returned the paperclip ring. Either way, we’re hopeful that she can find Mr. Right, and he isn’t someone from the reality TV world. She deserves better.

The Anonymous Season 1 Finale Recap: The Final Face-Off

We did it, folks! We’ve made it to the finish line of Season 1 of The Anonymous. After ten eliminations, two handle refreshes, one showmance, and a countless number of lies, a winner has finally been crowned. The rest of the players? They walked away with absolutely nothing. Here’s how things shook out on The Anonymous, Season 1, Episode 12, “Welcome to the Finale.”

What happened in The Anonymous Season 1, Episode 12?

DANI declared a winner of The Anonymous, and one player walked away with the jackpot, but first, the final five players battled it out for safety and made a last-ditch effort to add money to the prize pot. By the end, DANI pushed the players into one last Face-Off to determine who would walk away with the cash.

Lilly’s last stand

Before the finale really kicked off, we had some unfinished business from Episode 11. Last week, the players put Andy, Lilly, and Victoria on the chopping block. At the top of the episode, DANI shared the news that The Anonymous chose to eliminate Lilly.

In a flashback, it’s revealed that Marcel won the power to eliminate. Better late than never, right? He justified his decision pretty easily because, for the last few weeks, he’s incorrectly suspected Lilly had been masterminding the eliminations.

Of course, we all know that wasn’t the case. The only real thing Lilly masterminded was her confusing run as Robot. When she revealed that was one of her secret handles, she got a big round of applause from the remaining players.

On her way out the door, Lilly told the cameras that she suspected Christopher was behind her elimination. She said, “Unless you’re a single woman or a beefcake of a man, you have no value to him I hope he doesn’t win.” Yikes! It looks like the #ChristopherIsCancelled party continues.

One last chance at safety

After Lilly’s elimination, DANI told the players there was still one more challenge. They’d have one more shot at earning safety, putting money in the prize pot, and winning the power of The Anonymous.

For this week’s challenge, DANI challenged the players to a twisted game of Connect Four, where she shot a bunch of colorful balls in the air. Most of the balls were useless. They had to catch silver balls to make connections on their game board. Each silver ball earned $25, and the person with the most connections would win safety.

Of course, there was also a twist. Catching a red ball and placing it in another player’s board would block their connection and earn $50. DANI can’t help but make these games as shady as possible.

The game seemed hard enough as it was, and then DANI said, “Difficulty level increased.” All of a sudden, she started spraying them with paint and confetti. Chaos. At least they didn’t have to do math this time.

Ultimately, Christopher wound up getting the most connections. He won safety from elimination, and thus, earned a spot in the final Face-Off, and they managed to get their prize pot up to a cool $80,000, just a little shy of the original $100,000 grand they were promised.

The final Anonymous Mode

DANI explained that there would only be space for four players in the final Face-Off, which meant the final Anonymous would be extra-powerful this time around. It also meant that everyone got extra feisty in the chat. Then, DANI made it even more scarier with another little announcement.

“After this chat, there will be no vote,” DANI warned. “Instead, you’ll go straight to the test after which one player will be eliminated. No goodbyes!”

With no nominations this week, the final chat quickly devolved into pure messiness. Everyone started throwing each other under the bus. Should Andy go home because he flopped in the challenges? Or, maybe it’s time to finally target Victoria since Christopher had a guaranteed spot in the Face-Off?

As the accusations filled the chat, they all tried their hardest to keep their identities a secret, but it’s not so easy when there are only five players.

Marcel’s last-minute winning streak

After the vote, Marcel was declared the final Anonymous of the season. He’s on a winning streak this week, and it’s the best time for that to happen. As the final Anonymous, he got to determine who would move forward into the final Face-Off.

After Marcel made his decision, they dramatically teased who he chose by bringing them out of their hideouts one by one. Slowly but surely, we learned that Marcel chose to kick out Victoria, and she cried in the hideout because she wouldn’t get to say goodbye. 

“DANI, just let me leave. I can’t do this,” she tearfully said from her hideout.

With that, this showmance officially came to an end, but we can’t help but wonder if they’re still talking. It’s just another reason why this show needs a reunion.

Who won Season 1 of The Anonymous?

In the end, Nina was revealed to be the winner of Season 1 of The Anonymous. She managed to get her hands on the winning box, but it didn’t come easily. Here’s how things shook out in the final Face-Off.

Just like the previous Face-Off challenges, DANI had the players position themselves around the colorful boxes. Three of them had “LOSE” written on the inside, and one box had the lucky “WIN.” That meant this could literally go in any direction.

For the first time on the show, DANI made The Anonymous reveal their identity to the group, and she said they would get an extra special perk in the Face-Off. Marcel raised his hand, and we learned he would get to select the order they would play the game. That should have been a game-changer.

Nina said she wanted to go third, and Marcel obliged. He decided the order would go Christopher, Andy, and Nina, and then he’d go last.

This Face-Off was tense, and we finally understood why they made us suffer through this challenge multiple times this season. It was all building up to this. We’re not ashamed to say it was worth it.

The drama started with Christopher, who originally said he had a losing box but changed his answer a few minutes later. Andy grabbed a blue box and said it was a loser. Meanwhile, Christopher was swaying around and being extra, as if he had something to hide.

Nina went up to the table and said, “I think we need to start a different discussion so I’m going to steal a box.” She wound up taking Andy’s blue box. Andy went up for the gold box and claimed it was the winning one, leaving Marcel completely confused.

“All my time here comes down to this, in this moment. Everything I’ve learned every clue I picked up,” Marcel soliloquized. “This is it.”

He decided to pick a new box, the silver one. He said he was going with his gut. Then, one by one, DANI had them open their boxes.

Andy opened his box: LOSE. Chris opened his, and it said the same thing. All of that being extra was just for fun. He joked, “I just had to have fun with it, baby!”

It all came down to Marcel or Nina. They opened their boxes at the same time, and boom! Nina had the winning box and won the grand prize of around $80,000.

“I am the very first winner of The Anonymous!” Nina triumphantly declared in a confessional. “I know my mom is going to be so proud, but she better watch out cuz I‘m coming for that crown.”

Congrats to Nina, but in the true spirit of The Anonymous, it was DANI who had the last word on Season 1.

DANI teased, “The game is now complete. New players required.”

Derek Hough Praises Wife Hayley Erbert’s ‘Miracle’ DWTS Comeback

It was incredibly moving to see Hayley Erbert Hough make her ballroom return. Hayley, the wife of Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough, is back for the first time since her emergency craniectomy last December 2023. And her happy hubby praised her ballroom comeback as a miracle.

The pair took the stage together on the October 15 episode of DWTS. They danced together to Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” on Dedication Night. The performance was touching and poignant and a beautiful celebration of their love and their joy at being back on the dance floor together.

Before Derek and Hayley took to the stage, Derek shared a look back at their bittersweet journey. He recalled the day everything changed for them after tying the knot in August 2023. The couple were on the final leg of the Symphony of Dance tour after DWTS 32 and everything came to a “screeching halt” in the worst way.

Derek recalled how he was on stage and Hayley was supposed to come out. Instead, the stage manager came out and said she wasn’t coming because she was having full seizures and “essentially dying,” Derek recalled. “It’s really hard to even put into words other than just pure fear.”

Hayley was rushed to the hospital and needed to have surgery due to a severe brain bleed. Derek recalled being eternally grateful and relieved that when she awoke, she remembered him. “She was my wife,” Derek said. “And then the journey began. I was so impressed by her strength. She’s my beautiful miracle.”

Hayley said she was stubborn and pushed herself to not only walk but dance again. The two then took to the floor in an emotional performance to rousing applause.

After the dance, Derek gushed, “This dance is just a moment for us to be together on stage doing what we love. The fact that we’re able to dance again is nothing short of a miracle.”

Kristin Cavallari Thinks Britney Spears and Kanye West Have Been Cloned

Conspiracy theories are entertaining, but only to a point. During the COVID-19 pandemic, questioning science and career-dedicated practitioners became the norm. Our current political landscapes have only heightened these hot takes, leaving our country incredibly divided and, to be blunt, angry and argumentative as hell. Now, Kristin Cavallari is entering this chat, so, ugh. Via her massive platform, Kristin has just revealed that she believes the current public-facing Britney Spears and Kanye West are clones, which, what?

Kristin has a podcast called Let’s Be Honest. During a recent episode, she and her BFF, Justin Anderson, began discussing their opinions about natural health options. They then transitioned into conspiracy theories, which Kristen admits she believes.

“I believe everything. Do you want to know my favorite? I believe this, you guys. I wholeheartedly believe what I’m about to say: I think there are clones, okay? And I think Kanye is a clone,” Kristin began, making me say, eh, what now?

According to Kristin, “the Illuminati [and] the cabal … did not like” how Kayne used to call “a lot of people” out publically. “He said, ‘If I go away and I come back and I look different, that is not me,’” Kristin reiterated, referencing a since-deleted tweet from the ever-odd stylings of Kayne.

“What the f*ck happened? He was gone. He gone! ‘Member he fell off the face of the Earth for a little while? Look at him. Compare old photos of him. It’s not the same f*cking person. It’s not,” Kristin expressed, rather enthusiastically.

Oh. That lovely, deserving of-all-the-nice-things woman, who loves to twirl around on Instagram while hurting NO ONE, well, she is not Britney, b*tch, either. “That’s not Britney Spears. Go [and] look at [her] photos! That’s not Britney Spears,” Kristen added.

Cue Justin, noting that he has worked as a hairstylist for Jamie Lynn Spears. “I’ve done her hair a bunch of times. She would tell me,” he quipped, trying his best to bring this conversation back into a non-QAnon-like landing place.

Laughing, Kristin then pleaded, “Don’t cancel me, Hollywood! Let me have my podcast.”

I laughed. But no. Godspeed, Kristin (and society).

Love Is Blind’s Hannah Jiles Responds to Viewer Fury About How She Treats Nick Dorka

We’ve endured plenty of cringe-inducing moments so far on Season 7 of Love Is Blind, but one couple that has been particularly difficult to watch is Hannah Jiles and Nick Dorka. When they came out of the pods, it was unclear if she was even into him. Once they returned to Washington D.C., she criticized him for his living arrangement. It was brutal.

As the season heads towards its conclusion, fans of the show have been critical of Hannah’s attitude. Some folks really don’t approve of the way she talks to Nick, but she recently opened up about how the feedback has shifted her perspective. She’s listening and learning.

Love Is Blind Season 7 update: Hannah Jiles is rolling with the feedback

In a recent interview on The Viall Files podcast, Hannah opened up about what it’s been like watching herself on Season 7 of Love is Blind. She said she “learned a lot” seeing herself on TV.

“For example, I am a very direct person. I know that but I think my delivery is rough — and delivery is everything,” she confessed.

Of course, directness is important on this show because you have to figure out if your mystery partner has marriage potential. You never know who is hiding a criminal history, and Hannah admitted that the pressure influenced her behavior. However, she said that watching it all back felt eye-opening.

“When you can see it you’re like, ‘Gosh that was really harsh.’ So I’ve learned to be kinder [and] work on my delivery,” Hannah shared. “Sometimes just because it’s the truth and it’s what you’re feeling doesn’t mean that you have to say it out loud. Maybe think about it, think about the delivery, be a little softer.”

According to Hannah, the whole experience has been transformative because it forced her to look more closely at what she wants from her partner. In the future, she’s hoping more people will call her out on her delivery. Is Nick going to be involved in that future? That’s still to be determined.

Love is Blind Season 7 is streaming on Netflix, and new episodes drop on Wednesdays.

Picture it: Beverly Hills, 1989. You’re walking down the Beverly Hills High School hallway, and you look to your left. You see Reza Farahan and Mercedes Javid, years before they became the stars of Shahs of Sunset. Then, you look to the right, and you see the Menendez Brothers! Scary, right?

This might sound like fiction, but for some Los Angelenos, it was a reality! That high school was packed with future pop culture icons, and a TikToker recently stumbled across a yearbook that revealed all of the unexpected connections.

Thanks to Ryan Murphy’s Netflix series. Monsters, there’s a renewed conversation around the Menendez Brothers. Some people think Ryan’s adaptation seemed offensive. Others believe they should be freed. We’re just here to talk about the surprising Bravo connection.

In a viral TikTok, a girl flipped through her mom’s yearbook from Beverly Hills in the 1980s, which revealed her mom was classmates with Erik and Lyle Menendez. After the viral video, she did a follow-up video revealing some of the other famous faces in the yearbook.

“Omg, what was in the water in Beverly Hills at that time?” asked one viewer, which is a valid question.

The video then showed snaps of MJ and Reza in high school, during a time when they may or may not have been hooking up. Hilariously, Reza’s cocky attitude was on full display way back then, too. On one page of the yearbook, Reza was asked, “If you were on a tabloid cover, what would the headline say?”

Reza answered, “Playgirl centerfold wins the lottery.”

Ironically, Reza has gone on to be featured in many tabloids thanks to his years of messy behavior on reality TV. However, that all pales in comparison to what wound up happening to some of their other classmates. In addition to the Mendendez Brothers, MJ and Reza also went to high school with Monica Lewinsky. Can you imagine that high school reunion?

RHOP Season 9: How Gizelle Bryant Could Shine Without Robyn Dixon

I still miss Robyn Dixon on the Real Housewives of Potomac. Mainly because she was part of the Green Eyed Bandits duo. But I have plenty of faith Gizelle Bryant will learn to shine on her own without a friend standing next to her.

The pair first met at a charity event but immediately hit it off. So when Bravo was looking for a group of friends for their new Potomac franchise, it made sense that Robyn and Gizelle would be cast. From the get-go, the double trouble twins were inseparable. The series premiere in 2016 showed them instantly taking one another’s sides in a fight with another cast member. One instance occurred when Robyn and Gizelle stormed Ashley Darby’s restaurant Oz. The purpose was to call out the beauty queen for spreading rumors about Juan Dixon. 

Gizelle and Robyn were great at plotting together, and for years the dynamic worked. Sadly, Season 8 felt a bit boring with Robyn’s lack of storyline. Viewers had grown tired of watching her relationship with Juan play out. It always felt like Robyn was hiding something from the show, and finally, the network axed her. Even though the pair were a package, Gizelle was allowed to blossom again in Season 9, assuming she could keep her narrative on track.

Starring in Season 9 of the Real Housewives of Potomac without Robyn is a chance for the mother of three to turn the page. She no longer has to insert herself into Robyn’s messy home life. And she might be able to show a brand new side of her that fans have yet to meet. Recently, Bravo viewers saw Gizelle turn over a new leaf with Wendy Osefo. I know I held my breath, too! But the lunch went swimmingly between the two. For years, the two housewives have failed to see eye to eye, and it didn’t help that Gizelle once brought up rumors about Eddie Osefo cheating.  

But now, without Robyn in her ear, I think Gizelle will judge Wendy for herself and maybe even become “besties.” As the sneak peek of the season showed, Wendy’s friendship with Karen Huger falters a bit, so it will be interesting to see Gizelle swoop in and help pick up the pieces. I like seeing the former preacher’s wife having to put herself out there and make friends. I believe it makes Gizelle more likable! 

Gizelle Bryant’s storyline is perking up

The word on the street is that Gizelle is looking to hand over the spoon to some other pot-stirrer in the group. No longer will she constantly be putting herself in the middle. And we’ve seen evidence of this. After Karen noted that G had forgotten to invite her friend, Karine Jean-Pierre, to the Hattitude Party, Gizelle immediately said she would invite her to the G&A event. The Real Housewives of Potomac star noted in her confessional that she could see the Grand Dame was trying to throw shade, but she wasn’t going to play into it. Gizelle is looking to live her most “zen” life to date.

After the loss of her beloved father, Gizelle shared with fans that she now knows how precious time is. It was nice to see her put so much effort into the brain tumor event, as it showed a softer side of the fan favorite. So she doesn’t want to waste it on being petty. What will help G shine is the ability to focus on herself. As an OG, fans are invested in seeing Gizelle get her happy ending. It’s about time Gizelle focused on this new era of her Real Housewives career and proved why she still deserves a spot on the series.

RHOP needs Gizelle Bryant

Even though some viewers feel that Gizelle would spiral without her sidekick, she is shining bright like a diamond. And it looks like Gizelle has listened to the advice of viewers who often noted that holding grudges for so long isn’t good for reality TV. All followers wanted to see some form of reconciliation, not all-out bitterness. For a moment, it felt as if it could ruin the vibe of the entire group. In reality, Gizelle is an intricate part of the Real Housewives of Potomac. With Gizelle in the cast, it allows other OGs like Karen to volley off her.

Without Gizelle, the group wouldn’t work. At 61, Karen would have no real way of connecting with the younger women. Somehow, Gizzy is the landbridge that connects both age groups. I do not doubt that we need Gizelle to keep the cogs oiled and fully functioning. After two episodes, it is clear that G is ready to shine. All she needed was a little push and to be forced to make more friends.
