Teen Mom 2 Season 8 Episode 9 : Unhappy Mother’s Day

Teen Mom 2 is trucking along and it’s a lot of the same old same old. Kailyn Lowry and ex Javi Marroquin were on good terms as of last episode, but we all knew that wouldn’t last long and low and behold, it hasn’t thanks to Javi requesting child support. Briana DeJesus is still feeling stressed and overwhelmed that baby daddy Luis isn’t stepping up to the plate and having an upcoming baby shower doesn’t change that. Leah Messer is seeing Ali’s specialist to get some answers on her recent breathing issues and Chelsea DeBoer is guiding Aubree through her last day of first grade. Finally, we have Jenelle Evans and the never ending drama between her and mother Barb about seeing Jace. It’s not quite as bad as last week’s blow up but clearly, there are plenty of leftover feelings in play.

Starting with Kail and Javi, Kail decides that since they are cool (for now), Javi can come over and spend some time with the boys. How nice of her! She is also relieved he’s coming over because she has a lot to do. While she starts to paint the baby’s room, Javi takes Isaac and Lincoln outside and helps Isaac learn to ride his bike. It’s going great and Javi has to ask Kail to come outside to see. She agrees but tells him to make it quick. Once she sees Isaac riding, she is super excited for him and Javi dutifully runs beside him in the street, making sure he’s safe from falling.

Unfortunately, the day is short lived because Javi just filed for child support, unbeknownst to Kail. He tells his friend that he’s not trying to make Kail go broke, but he wants to make sure Lincoln is taken care of now and in the future.

A few days later, Kail is served the paperwork and she’s upset like Javi knew she would be. She doesn’t understand why he is even asking for financial and medical support when he has free child care with his parents plus health insurance through his job. Javi tries to tell her that he’s doing this as a savings for Lincoln’s future but the only conclusion that Kail can come to is that he’s doing it out of spite.

Briana is planning on having a small baby shower for close family and friends and it’s all dawning on Roxanne that adoption is off the table. Briana explains that she just doesn’t have it in her to go through a whole legal process fighting Luis when he will object to the adoption anyway. Roxanne still isn’t convinced Luis will be stepping up since he still hasn’t contributed financially. As much as she wants to give him credit for showing up to a few doctor’s appointments, that’s really not enough at this stage of the game. Briana agrees that he’s not mentally, financially or physically prepared.

Later, Briana shops for last minute decorations for the party and tells her friend Shirley how none of her family knows about Luis cheating on her and them not being together. She doesn’t want to deal with it at the shower, so she texts Luis, telling him that he needs to keep up the appearance that they are still together. He agrees, but it doesn’t sit well with Briana that she even has to do this to begin with.

At the house the rented for the shower, Briana’s grandmother goes on and on about how nice she thinks Luis is and how well he treated her and Briana in the brief interaction she had with him. Grandma finishes by saying that she thinks it would be a beautiful thing to have both father and mother in the picture for this baby and you can see Briana starting to crack a little with these words. The shower hasn’t even started and she’s already stressed out about Luis coming. She tells Roxanne how annoyed she is and Roxanne gets pissed, saying she should be grateful for everyone coming together to support her at her shower. Briana cries alone in the kitchen, overwhelmed by the whole thing.

Leah is in Columbus with Ali to see her specialist about her breathing issues. As the walk into the hospital from the parking garage, Ali stumbles a few times, but insists she can walk on her own without Leah carrying her. Once inside, Dr. Tsao orders heart and lung tests since Muscular Dystrophy is associated with those issues. Leah sits with Ali during all of her testing, anxiously waiting for answers.

Once everything is completed, Dr. Tsao comes in with good news – no heart or lung issues came up during testing and he believes that Ali’s breathing is likely due to allergies and can be managed with an inhaler and some medication. Leah is relieved and as they leave, she immediately calls Corey Simms to tell him they got cleared.

At Chelsea’s house, Aubree is about to have her last day of first grade and she looks adorable in her camo jacket and hair braided. When Chelsea picks her up at the end of the day, she has a little party kazoo to blow for her in celebration and takes her home to bake a cake for the occasion.

Chelsea’s sister is in town from Florida so she brings the kids to her mom’s house to visit. Out on the back porch, the talk turns to the wedding reception and Chelsea says they will likely find a local place where they can throw up a tent and enjoy. Chelsea’s sister thinks this is an awful idea since it will be October in South Dakota but Chelsea insists they can put up heating lamps. This obviously isn’t the response Chelsea needed to hear, given the reception is only four months away and I don’t blame her for being annoyed at the unsolicited advice.

Jenelle is all about Mother’s Day this year and everyone has to know about it. She wanted to have Jace for the day but given the blow out from last week, Barb isn’t returning her calls or texts about it. Jenelle complains to fiancé David Eason that all of the kids get to be with their moms on Mother’s Day except for Jace and David eggs her on by saying how awful Barb is. David assumes that Barb is doing this to spend as much time as possible with Jace because she knows she will lose custody of him in their upcoming court case.

But Jenelle’s visitation woes aren’t over because later, she finds out that Nathan Griffith’s parents are going to be away for the next two weekends and since Nathan has to have supervised custody with Kaiser, now he won’t see him for three weeks. Jenelle wants to offer a visitation meeting in Wilmington so that doesn’t happen, but David, controlling as ever, snaps at her that she doesn’t need to do Nathan any favors. Jenelle backs down and then they argue over the fact that she has to sit outside watching him put down grass when she wants to be doing something for Mother’s Day, which is tomorrow by the way. David curses at her and she stomps inside. The Producer runs in to check on her and Jenelle decides pouting in bed is more worthwhile than going out and doing something without David.

The next day, they have made up and David has Kaiser help him make a chalk board message for Jenelle, which she loves. Barb finally calls to see if she wants to see Jace today but on one condition: David can’t be there. According to Barb, Jace said he doesn’t want to see them if David is there. Can you blame him after the last incident? Jenelle doesn’t believe it’s Jace saying this but Jace refuses to come to the phone and talk anyway, so Jenelle snaps that Jace better get used to David being around since he’s not going anywhere. Barb hangs up on Jenelle, then calls the Producer, who is unwilling to be the go-between in this battle and hands the phone off to Jenelle. They argue some more, with Barb calling David an a**hole and saying she doesn’t want him to be there either since he’s always filming her, trying to catch her doing something wrong. Coincidentally, David is filming their phone conversation as Jenelle berates Barb by saying she’s the grandmother and she needs to know her place.
I’m not sure what place that is but I think we can all agree it’s not a good one.

Big Brother 19 Spoilers: Live Feeds Day 66 Highlights: Kevin Plots an Escape

After 70 plus days, the Big Brother 19 houseguests were finally rewarded with a party. They got alcohol, food, and some games. It was a much needed departure from the usual intensity of the Big Brother game. Prior to the party, people were plotting as usual on Big Brother 19.

Most of yesterday’s Live Feeds revolved around the aftermath of this week’s Power of Veto ceremony. Kevin Schlehuber quietly sulked, Paul Abrahamian kept plotting, Josh Martinez went back into the dark, and Jason Dent wondered if the plan to evict Kevin was really true.

A Scammer’s Life

Once again, the Big Brother 19 houseguests found themselves speculating about Raven Walton’s lies. They once again questioned everything she said and did in the Big Brother house. Yesterday, Paul seemed especially frustrated with Raven.

Meanwhile, Raven took some time out of her day to explain her game and intentions to the camera, aka us. Raven mentioned really needing the money to get a new pacemaker, to live. She also expressed frustration about not being asked by Jason for his vote.

Raven said it was disrespectful that he didn’t even attempt to campaign to her, but this made it easier to vote him out on Thursday. Raven also talked about taking Paul to the final two and her great social game. She took credit for the throwing the Head of Household to Christmas Abbott plan.

Josh Sees the Dark

Immediately following the Power of Veto ceremony, Josh went to the Head of Household room to speak to Christmas. He said the plan  benefits Paul the most, but now he sees how it can benefit Christmas and himself as well.

In Josh’s mind, the Big Brother 19 jury must believe that Christmas and Josh have done nothing in the game. This plan shows the former houseguests a major move from them. By getting the blood on their hands, they can claim evicting Jason as their move, and win some points with the jury.

Kevin’s Plan

After going on the block, Kevin expressed a lot of frustration with the way the houseguests have been treating him. Additionally, he just seems to miss his family. He told the camera that he’s glad he gets to leave on Thursday.

Later, Kevin told Jason that if the houseguests vote Jason out over him, he would walk out instead. This saves Jason and lets him be free of the houseguests. We’re not sure if Kevin is telling the truth or putting on a show for Jason. It could go either way, but we’re sure production will stop him before he leaves.

Real Housewives Of Orange County Recap: Talk Dirty To Me

On last night’s Real Houseiwves Of Orange County we were all shocked when Kelly Dodd flipped her gender-bending shit and called Meghan Edmonds a bad mom because of her shit-stirring. I mean, talk dirty to me indeed, right?!

This is frustrating because Kelly is in the right about Meghan’s behavior but, as always, Kelly’s delivery and her viciousness get the better of her!

The whole thing started off so promisingly – in a baby store. Amid queries about sleigh cribs or modern cages, Kelly joked with Meghan that perhaps she’s “a lesbo” after a drunken kiss with Shannon Beador. They are like waving from the porch on the back of the caboose on the Katy Perry “I Kissed A Girl” train. Boy did Kelly and Shannon moved quickly – from mortal enemies to K-I-S-S-ING. First comes hate, then comes love, then comes Meghan in the middle!

Meghan is thrilled that her interfering and meddling resulted in Kelly and Shannon becoming quite close. All this positive reinforcement apparently encouraged Meghan to do MORE meddling! Cause what could go wrong?! Only that when Kelly met Shannon at the next bar, she noticed that Shannon’s phone was set to record. Oops. When Shannon realized that Kelly realized, she quickly put the phone away, but Kelly knows what she saw, just not Shannon’s intent. In the interest of maintaining this newfound peace and serenity, Kelly decided to speak to Shannon directly and asks Meghan not to say anything.

Does Kelly not know Meghan at all?  Meghan, who when bored and idle turns her attentions to ‘investigating’ others in the interest of Truth! and Justice! Meghan who believes herself impervious to any wrongdoing. Meghan who is a CONSTANT busy-body?! Seems like Kelly temporarily forgot. Like her memory only works in cued-recall based on what cocktail she was drinking when an incident occurred; or showing up at a certain bar triggers her memory.

Meghan is no quiet woman so by the time Kelly arrives home and changes into clothes and nails which perfectly match her kitchen so she can throw a tantrum about rotten tomatoes, Shannon has called to deny recording her! Cause obviously Me-Me-Me-Meghan has me-me-me-meddled.

Kelly is, rightfully, furious. Did I say “rightfully” in my defense of Kelly Dodd? BRB – gotta lie down.

Anyway, yes, Kelly was right to be upset: she specifically asked Meghan, her friend, NOT to say anything because Kelly, who’s been studying Grown-Ups For Dummies, wanted to speak to Shannon in person about it. Further proving that she’s crushing this Adulting thing, Kelly calls Meghan right away to iron the mess out. Meghan is like [shrug] “Sorry, I was bored while nursing and like, I dunno… there’s only so much Love It or List It one can watch, but I swear I just didn’t want Shannon to be upset…”

Meghan claims Shannon can barely work an iPhone, let alone record Kelly… unless, perhaps, Shannon got a little tutorial from Tamra Judge, who would never-ever play dirty, but Tamra can’t hear anyone’s critiques so long as she has a giant industrial-sized janitorial vacuum strapped to her back. Baby’s Got Back… but gots no one’s back.

Vicki Gunvalson is bored and when Vicki is bored she makes rash decisions like internet cheating with Brooks Ayers, or buying a band-aid boat. You know, when your love tank is puttering, it’s time buy a life boat. Vicki loves to rewrite history to her own convenience and Donn got the boat in the divorce, so find another Donn, find another boat!

Poor Donn Steve is the unwitting VICKtim of her plans. Vicki claims Steve satisfies her in every way – sometimes 2, 3, 4 times per day (BARF). How is Coto Insurance operating amid all this, um, extracurricular activity?! Vicki gushes that she “LOVES marriage” and was married for 30 years (only 2.5 of those years happily, the other half: If it’s Brooks, don’t fix it! Just con ’em). Vicki does remember that, regretfully, we’ve been watching her on on TV for OVER A DECADE. We have seen things. Bad Things like watching Vicki be simpering and flirty with Steve, stroking his ‘manly lavender shirt,’ snorting a proposal into her wine glass. Oh Vicki… instead just give Steve a life jacket and an advance warning of rough seas ahead.

Then Vicki has lunch with Meghanny Drew who vows to solve The Mystery Of The Scorned Friend and discover how Vicki believes she was hurt by Tamra and Shannon!

Vicktim isn’t recalcitrant because she has PROOF that David hit Shannon. Texts, and photos, and evidence… oh my! Vicki admits, however, that she shouldn’t have gossiped or threatened Shannon with salacious allegations, so at least there was that small bit of progress… Maybe?

When Meghan advises Vicki to show Shannon this so-called truth, because Vicki balks, and begs Meghan not to repeat it because Vicki will get in big, big, BIG trouble! Again! Meghan and Vicki are so fake over-dramatic about it – Meghan even insisted she has to talk to Jimmy Dad Jeans (if she can find ’em!) about this damning information.

Why is Shannon’s potentially being in a dangerous relationship ALL ABOUT VICKTIM and ME-ME-ME-Meghan?! They both need hobbies, and I don’t mean buying boats or amateur detectiving!

Meghan immediately calls Shannon and Tamra with the full-report. Shannon and Tamra are up to their own sneaky ways, and are caught buying ‘man outfits’ for all the women to wear at a Drag Bingo fundraiser. Shannon decided that since she has a manly body and long blonde hair she’ll transition into her natural state as Bret Michaels of Poison. And since this show is a toxic cesspool of bad, bad blood…

When they learn that Vicktim is still carrying on about this ‘proof,’ Tamra gleefully announces that Vicki can suck her metaphorical balls.

I interrupt this recap because I just remembered that I totally forgot about Peggy Sulahian. It’s probably because Diko gave Peggy $100 and sent her off to NYC to visit a school with her daughter. Diko has a lot of reservations about trusting Peggy, who might get refer to the subway as a sandwich, and Diko doesn’t want his daughter going off to college so far away.

Peggy, meanwhile, allowed her limited understanding of vocabulary to help her realize it’s 2017. I appreciated her belief that Gia needs to make her own decisions, and Peggy is adamant that both her daughters get their degree. I also respect Diko’s concern that NYC is so far, and that he doesn’t want Peggy to push Gia to make a decision.

And I’m beginning to think Diko is a hoarder: he hoards cars, his wife and daughters, and he hovers over Peggy like a butterfly building a cocoon. Peggy can barely buy a bag without him prying it open. Luckily Peggy stands firm that Gia will not be locked in a gilded cage, secured in $60,000 Birkin, and live like Peggy herself does. Maybe Peggy and Shannon should talk… or not, since talking to Shannon literally NEVER goes well.

Back to drag bingo. Kelly and Lydia McLaughlin arrive at Shannon’s to find Tamra dressed as white trash, complete with beer stains on her wife-beater, she’s calling Shannon “my bitch.” Tamra was a natural in the role.

Lydia is uncomfortable. In case you weren’t aware, she’s a christian. And loving and accepting gays was not taught in her sex-ed bible. Lydia decides to go to drag bingo looking like “Charlie Chaplin had a baby with Liza Minelli” and uses this as testimony. At least there will be turkey burgers!

On the bus to Bingo things start to fray – and I don’t mean the mullet wigs! One drink in Kelly gets incensed about Meghan’s meddling. She reveals that Vicki even said Meghan told her how Kelly was talking crap behind her back. Kelly is some prize this season isn’t she? Last year no one could stand her, except Vicki, and now this year everyone is fighting for her allegiance.

And, after a little visit from Tamra’s “psychic friend,” at least Kelly starts to recognize that it’s a calculated attempt to break her and Vicki up and isolate Vicki. Tamra is so pathetically transparent, and much like her White Trash costume, it’s not a good look. Her insides are rotten to the core, and I didn’t see any Jesus in there!

The group of motley pseudo-men met Meghan at Bingo and forced her into a racing-striped jumpsuit and mustache. While that’s happening, Meghan pumps her boobs. Meghan is SO attention-seeking!

Part of going drag for Tamra also apparently meant flexing her faith. Her “gay husband,” (I LOATHE THAT PEDANTIC PUERILE EXPRESSION) Scott, the sometimes psychic and wannabe pop star, continues having ‘revelations’ about Vicki. Scott, as I’m sure you remember, ‘uncovered’ that Brooks was faking cancer – and this sours Meghan because in her mind it was SHE who ripped the chemo turban off the villain’s head. Maybe they can buy an old van, eat a lot of pizza, and team up together with Girly-Girl by their side.

Scott “warns” Kelly that she and Vicki will have a fight, and surprise-surprise – Tamra also got that prophecy! Scott can’t tell what over, or when, or why, but something – something Kelly will do(!) – will gravely upset Vicki. Kelly doesn’t take the bait, nor does Lydia, who is more offended by Scott’s cartomancy than she is watching Shannon get spanked by a drag queen. Yes for a change we got a glimpse of Shannon’s actual crack in lieu of her actual cracking up! It was crack overdose actually, because then Kelly and Meghan also cracked!

It was Tamra who instigated by telling her psychic friend to predict if Kelly was gonna be nice. Unfortunately Meghan found herself on Kelly’s naughty list for pot-stirring under the guise of being a good friend and trying to help. Kelly is correct, but her liquor-loosened lips slosh all over her good points.

Kelly thought Meghan was her friend, but Meghan claims she can’t trust Kelly after she accused Jimmy of having a ten-year affair while Meghan was 7-months-pregnant. Shitty, yes, but haven’t Meghan and Jimmy only been married like 3 years?

Kelly fires back that MEGHAN started it by asking if Kelly had a boyfriend named Blank. Is Blank hot? Tall Dark and Handsome? Rich?! Well, he’s certainly not Michael!

Anyway, this is my favorite part: Shannon gets on a soap box to lecture Kelly that making allegations of someone’s husband cheating is “THE MOST HURTFUL” thing you could ever do, all the while Shannon is sitting next to her BFF Tamra, who not only insinuated David was cheating on Shannon, but repeatedly accused Kelly of cheating on Michael! Kelly, thankfully, immediately yanks up the texts incriminating Meghan (perhaps Vicki needs to take some lessons from Kelly in Text-Accusation Etiquette. Lesson one: Proof is in the iPhone!) and then freaks out at Meghan for bringing this up when they had supposedly moved past it.

Kelly says Meghan is meddling because she’s “thirsty,” and suggests Meghan go home to focus on Aspen instead of going out all the time to get in other’s business. Somehow I think Jimmy agrees… This is hard: I think Kelly is right, but then she, again, takes all her good points and ruins them with her low-blows. Also, Meghan constantly tells everyone how boring motherhood is!

Lydia had scuttled into the bathroom to cry over the reflection of herself in drag, and she came out (zing!) just in time to see Meghan running by in tears with Tamra chasing after her, like: Remember! Remember! Kelly called Tamra a bad mom too! She totally understands! ‘Cause it’s always about Tamra!

Back at the table Shannon, rightfully, lectures Kelly for her mouth, but Kelly feels no remorse. Poor Meghan is shocked that Kelly, who she didn’t think was her friend, would turn on her. And on her way out, de-dragged, she timidly says goodbye to Kelly, but Kelly ignores her. ICE COLD. Kelly should’ve gone in drag as Vanilla Ice.

TELL US – TEAM KELLY OR TEAM MEGHAN?

Vicki Gunvalson & Kelly Dodd Think Their Cast Mates Are “Causing Their Own Demise” By Refusing To Film With Them; Tease Drama During Iceland Trip; Heather Dubrow & Tamra Judge’s Friendship Was “Fake”

As much as I love Real Housewives of Orange County, Season 12 is definitely “off” so far. It is just such a fragmented show with most of the women refusing to film together and there are no real story lines so far. Other than Shannon Beador throwing that plate full of food at Kelly Dodd, it’s been a pretty boring season.

Hopefully that changes, but as of now, the show is in the same place it has been for the past two seasons with Tamra Judge and Shannon refusing to associate with Vicki Gunvalson. The battle lines have been drawn with Vicki and Kelly on one side and Tamra and Shannon on the other.

Vicki and Kelly opened up about the season in an interview with Chicago Splash. The biggest issue is that Shannon and Tamra feel like Vicki attacked their marriages. During that ratchet bus ride in Ireland Kelly screamed at Tamra about rumors that her husband is secretly gay and that Shannon’s husband “beats the shit out of her”- both rumors that were conveyed to her via Vicki.

Watching the show, it is obvious that Vicki still wants to be friends with Tamra and she admitted, “I’m always open to salvageable relationships, but it has to be both sides.” Still, she insists, “They are fixated on the past and they won’t move forward. I am over it, literally. You’ll see coming up that Tamra says I tried to attack her family and attack her marriage. That is not the case.”

She started to say, “What is the truth is [that] Tamra approached Kelly when we were in Ireland and asked Kelly …” Kelly jumped in an shared, ” ‘Did Vicki say my husband cheats on me and my husband is gay?’ And then I said, ‘No, she didn’t say, ‘cheats’ on you. And then that’s when Heather Dubrow goes, ‘You can’t get your story straight.'” When Kelly was asked if Tamra and Heather are still friends, she responded with, “They were never … that was a fake friendship.”

Vicki continued, “Tamra had it in her brain — she never thought it was going to be aired and now she’s fixated saying that I tried to ruin her family. I didn’t try to ruin her family. I don’t care about ruining her family, I’m not that kind of girl. So I don’t understand why she is stuck on this.” To be honest, it makes sense for Tamra to be upset that anyone is spreading rumors about her husband, but Vicki actually does make a really good point: “She is causing it to have so much life when it didn’t have to. She could’ve moved on and not talked about it this year, but she’s playing a victim.”

Vicki insists, “I didn’t go after her marriage; I didn’t go after Shannon’s marriage. They keep saying it over and over and I don’t understand it. If they don’t want to draw attention to it, then why do they keep talking about it? You’re going to see a lot of that this year.”

Even though Tamra and Shannon want nothing to do with Vicki this season, they are actually getting along with Kelly (so far) which is pretty surprising. Kelly said, “I think that I don’t have a problem with anybody until the end. I get along with everybody. But we also laugh and we have a good time. We go to Iceland and some major drama happens there.” Vicki added, “As usual. Every cast trip — it’s crazy. I think it’s a great season.” I beg to differ on that last part, but hopefully it picks up.

It’s definitely a tough season for Tamra so far since her ongoing estrangement from her daughter has become a big part of her story line. Vicki shared, “I texted her and told her that I wish her the very best and I’m sorry she’s going through a tough time. The problem is that it’s never reciprocated with her towards me.”

So far this season has been lacking. Most of the fans can agree on this and it’s because most of the cast refuses to see each other. Vicki said, “They’re causing their own demise. If they don’t want to film, then they can go back home.” And Kelly said, “They’re burying themselves.” And the show. They’re burying the show. Let’s just hope things pick up.

Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, & Jill Zarin Enjoy The US Open- Photos

Unlike a lot of the other shows in the Real Housewives franchise, the Real Housewives of New York ladies actually do seem to have a bond when the cameras aren’t rolling. Most of them have even known each other for decades, so they would probably hanging out (and arguing) even if they weren’t on this show.

Dorinda Medley, Ramona Singer, Jill Zarin, and Jill’s daughter Ally Shapiro all went to the US Open to watch the tennis matches and socialize, of course.

It doesn’t seem like all of these ladies went together, but Ramona did meet up with Jill and Ally based on photographic evidence. Clearly Dorinda and Ramona were there for a promotional event, but it looked like a fun one. Then again, I feel like Dorinda is always having a good time no matter where she is or what she’s doing, so that’s not at all surprising.
