Battle of the Stews: Who’s Right, Tumi or Natalya?

Bravo/YouTube

Tumi Mhlongo and Natalya Scudder are involved in an intense feud on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 8, but who’s in the wrong? Tumi was assigned as the season’s Chief Stew, after Natalya had served as 2nd Stew during Below Deck Med Season 7. However, when Tumi ran into issues with immigration, Natalya stepped in to fill her position until she arrived.

When Tumi did finally arrive onboard, she and Natalya instantly began to clash. Their relationship has not improved, and their feud has divided fans into “teams.” Keep reading to find out whether we are Team Tumi, or Team Natalya!

At First, Tumi Was In The Wrong

When Tumi first stepped onboard, she was arguably in the wrong during her first interaction with Natalya. Tumi failed to address how hard Natalya worked as Interim Chief Stew during the first charter, which understandably upset Natalya.

The two got into a heated argument within minutes, where Tumi claimed that the boat’s organization was “a s**t show.” This comment was out of line, since Natalya did put a lot of work into making the yacht look nice for Tumi’s arrival. Tumi claimed that she was referring to the structure of the boat itself rather than Natalya’s work ethic, although this seemed far fetched.

Then Natalya Took Things Too Personally

Below Deck Mediterranean recap

During the interior team’s first meeting, Tumi announced that she planned to rank her team as she felt it helped keep a good structure. As Chief Stew, Tumi completely had the right to this, regardless of Natalya’s desires.

Tumi explained that she wanted Kyle Viljoen to serve as 2nd Stew, since he excelled with the guests and service. Natalya, on the other hand, was assigned to be 3rd Stew, since Tumi noted she was great with laundry and cleaning. Jessika Asai, in turn, was assigned as the 4th Stew.

It was evident that Natalya took Tumi’s rankings personally, even though she should not have. Tumi was acting within the limits of her authority as Chief Stew, and she was not trying to make Natalya feel bad by putting her as 3rd Stew. Tumi had a perfectly logical reason for her decision, and even went out of her way to compliment Natalya on her laundry skills!

Now Natalya Is Completely Out Of Line

Below Deck Mediterranean recap
Charles Sykes/Bravo via Getty Images

After the second charter, Natalya began to act completely unreasonable toward Tumi. Tumi made notable efforts to remain calm with Natalya, and listen to her point of view, while respectfully sharing her own. An example of this was when Natalya complained about Kyle not cleaning up the pajama party, which ended at 3 am. Tumi explained that she would rather have Kyle just go to bed at that point, but Natalya refused to comply.

Natalya proceeded to tell the rest of her fellow crew members all about her hatred of Tumi, which some of them began to get sick of. One of Natalya’s favorite people to complain to was Chef Jack Luby, who also got off on the wrong foot with Tumi. However, he admitted that he now had a better opinion of Tumi, and was not interested in what Natalya had to say about her.

The turning point came when Tumi noticed Natalya had failed to fully clean the cabins, which she then conveyed to Jessika. While Tumi should have approached Natalya about it herself, Natalya’s reaction was still unwarranted. Natalya called Tumi over and asked what the problem was, and seemed to completely forget that Tumi was the Chief Stew.

The confrontation got so bad that Captain Sandy Yawn had to step in, and call both ladies to the bridge. Uh oh! In front of Captain Sandy, Natalya quickly declared that she could not work with Tumi. Tumi, on the other hand, laughed it off then realized that she should have responded more professionally. Both women received a warning from Captain Sandy, and were told to figure it out.

After Everything, We’re Team Tumi!

Below Deck Mediterranean recap

After everything that has gone down between Tumi and Natalya, we are one hundred-percent on Tumi’s side. Despite being a bit aggressive at first, Tumi is the Chief Stew and deserves to be respected for that. Tumi also made several attempts to try to work things out with Natalya, which she was not receptive to. While we hope that these two stews can make up by the end of the season, it’s not looking likely.

Real Housewives Who Andy Cohen Grilled the Hardest

Andy Cohen, Erika Jayne
Charles Sykes/Bravo via Getty Images

Andy Cohen is often seen as the King of Bravo who can do no wrong. However, there have been plenty of times when he went in hard on a Real Housewives star during the reunion. To err is human to forgive is divine, but Andy often doesn’t hold back when it comes to putting a certain reality star in their place and, at times, seems to thrive on the drama.

Monique Samuels

During the Season 5 reunion of the Real Housewives of Potomac, Andy was blasted for his lack of journalistic integrity when he interviewed Monique Samuels regarding her fight with Candiace Dillard Bassett. During his chat, Andy came across as unfair and clearly was siding with the beauty queen. Monique was quickly painted as the bad guy, even though it takes two to tango. Bravo viewers found it hard to distinguish between his personal opinion and staying neutral while conducting the interview.

Andy was visibly upset with Monique, noting she wasn’t emotional enough. She said the mother was “matter of fact and dry about the whole thing.” Monique alleged that Andy held her to a different standard than the rest of the women. “I believe that his responsibility should be to get down to the bottom of whatever questions may have been unanswered during the season,” she said. But Andy quickly dropped the ball, enraging Real Housewives fans.

Erika Jayne

Everyone and their mama was coming for Erika Jayne, but Andy also joined in on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11 reunion. Andy didn’t waste any time as he asked the hard questions regarding the embezzlement scandal and financial claims that Erika had no money to her name. He told Erika he was “going to put you on a skewer—and I’m going to fire up the barbecue.”

Andy took it upon himself to ask some hard questions, including, “Why didn’t you leave Tom sooner?'” Erika replied, “Where was I going?” The entire season outraged fans who learned that Tom Girardi was accused of embezzling millions of dollars that were meant for plane crash victims of Lion Air.

Andy kept his promise as he did not back down. “Who believes that Erika did not know anything about what Tom was doing?,” he asked the ladies of the 90210. The question enraged the Pretty Mess singer. “Can someone please back me the fu*k up on what I am saying?,” she asked. Andy went for the jugular, pointing out to Erika, “You were manipulating the narrative by saying the cognitive decline started three years ago. “It lands differently when there are air crash victims.”

Tamra Judge

Tamra Judge
Charles Sykes/Bravo via Getty Images

During the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion, Andy tried to get to the bottom of who called who a loser at BravoCon 2022. Tamra Judge claimed Heather Dubrow had denigrated the entire cast, while Fancy Pants noted Tamra had jokingly said it on her podcast. Honestly, they are both losers for even fighting over the semantics of it all.

While Tamra was trying to defend herself from the line of questioning, Andy interjected. “By the way, you had said terrible things about everyone that was still on the show when you weren’t on the show,” he said. Tamra yelled back, “But we’re not talking about that so fu*k off.” Andy defended himself, noting, “I’m just pointing out that you were calling them losers.”

Larsa Pippen

Radio Andy/YouTube

Andy is known for losing his temper with unruly housewives. The Real Housewives of Miami Season 5 reunion was no exception, as he was caught yelling at Larsa Pippen. The magical mogul didn’t mince his words after Larsa tried verbally attacking Nicole Martin‘s son, who was born out of wedlock.

On his SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live show, Andy gave more insight into the argument. “I usually don’t editorialize, and I did with The Housewives of Miami,” he said. “Basically, Larsa was kind of—it seemed to me—weaponizing to Nicole that her child was born out of wedlock.”

Andy went on to explain, “Like she was saying…I could be calling out that your son was born out of wedlock. Now, when you say, I could be using something as a weapon, you’re basically doing it.” Andy revealed Larsa’s words hit home since he was a single father of two. Hopefully, the host learns from his verbal attacks, but we kind of doubt he will.

Best and Worst Songs To Come From the Real Housewives Franchise

Luann de Lesseps Real Housewives of New York RHONY
Bruce Glikas/Getty Images

In the last 17 years that the Real Housewives franchise has been on television, fans have watched several Bravo stars try their hand at a music career. And while some housewives foray into the music industry felt like a natural fit, others dropped singles that had us scratching our heads.

In honor of the housewife-to-popstar pipeline, let’s take a look back at some of the best (and worst) songs released by Real Housewives stars.

Luann de Lesseps – Chic C’est La Vie (Best)

YouTube/Ultra Records

“Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Countess speaking. We have arrived!” Following the success of her debut banger “Money Can’t Buy You Class,” Luann de Lesseps released “Chic C’est La Vie,” a song about jet setting, being fabulous, and showing off that you know French. Love that!

The song is iconic and remains a favorite among Real Housewives fans over a decade after its initial release. Between the sporadic use of French and the nods to the show and other RHONY cast members, the song feels self-aware and in on the joke. Overall, this one belongs in the Real Housewives Music Hall of Fame.

Ashley Darby – Coffee & Love (Worst)

Ashley Darby/YouTube

We love Ashley Darby but we don’t love her 2018 song “Coffee & Love” featuring Cazanova. This song is rough. Between the auto-tune and the repetitive lyrics, it’s just not a banger. Also, the music video opens with photos of Michael Darby. Jump scare!

Candiace Dillard Bassett – Drive Back (Best)

CANDIACE/YouTube

This song is amazing. No notes. Candiace Dillard Bassett is a woman of many talents and when it comes to her music career, she is certainly one to watch. Her single “Drive Back” is catchy, fun, and Candiace seriously kills it on the vocals. Also, the Real Housewives of Potomac ladies make a cameo in the music video, so overall, it’s just perfect from start to finish.

Gretchen Rossi – The Time Is Now (Worst)

Gretchen Christine Rossi/YouTube

Gretchen Rossi dedicated her 2013 song “The Time Is Now” to her boyfriend Slade Smiley. The Real Housewives of Orange County star performed the song for her beau in Season 8 before asking for his hand in marriage. The song is pretty lackluster and not much to write home about. However, I do sometimes find myself singing it in the shower.

Kim Zolciak-Biermann – Google Me (Best)

Brookes1Fan/YouTube

“Research me, you’ll find me. Click them keys and Google me.” Kim Zolciak‘s song “Google Me” has to be one of the most memorable Real Housewives songs. It’s catchy, absolutely ridiculous, and so fun to listen to.

Simon van Kempen – I Am Real (Worst)

Simon van Kempen/YouTube

RHONY star Simon van Kempen is the only Housewives husband to snag a spot on this list, but unfortunately, his single “I Am Real” falls into the “worst” category. Listen, the song is iconic but I wouldn’t call it…good.

Erika Jayne – XXPEN$IVE” (Best)

Erika Jayne/YouTube

I’m sure you’re not surprised to see Erika Jayne‘s hit song “XXPEN$IVE” on this list. The songstress has released numerous bops throughout her career but we think this one takes the cake.

The song admittedly feels a little dark after everything that has come to light about Erika’s ex-husband, Tom Girardi, and everything he did to achieve their “XXPEN$IVE” lifestyle. But on its own, it is a great song. We are definitely queuing it up on the pregame playlist.

Melissa Gorga – Rockstar (Worst)

Melissa Gorga/YouTube

Melissa Gorga‘s song “Rockstar” may pale in comparison to other Real Housewives bops but we don’t totally hate it. Is it good? Probably not. Is it fun to listen to? Yes!

Luann de Lesseps – Money Can’t Buy You Class (Best)

Ultra Records/YouTube

We couldn’t not include Luann’s debut hit “Money Can’t Buy You Class.” The song is simply a masterpiece and she should have a Grammy. Case closed.

Honorable Mention: Kim Zolciak-Biermann – Tardy for the Party (Best)

Honorable Mention: Melissa Gorga – On Display (Worst)

Kristin Cavallari Clarifies ‘In Love’ Comments About Travis Kelce

(Photo by Randy Shropshire/Variety via Getty Images)

Swifties, stand down: Kristin Cavallari is not trying to snatch Travis Kelce away from Taylor Swift. The former star of The Hills recently raised eyebrows after she made a comment about being “in love” with the tight end. It happened during an interview on her Let’s Be Honest podcast.

Travis was a guest during the episode, and he talked about all of the things that he was looking for in a partner. Kristin said that she had watched his short-lived dating show, Catching Kelce, and she was swooning over him.

Now that we know he’s head over heels for Taylor, Kristin clarified her comments with E! News, and she wants the world to know it was never that deep.

Kristin Cavallari wasn’t shooting her shot with Travis Kelce

During the episode in question of Kristin’s podcast, she definitely dropped the “L” word, which some people took very seriously.

“You were 100 percent my TV crush when the show was on,” Kristin told Travis during the episode. “I was in love with you.”

Fans ran wild with that comment — especially since he became official with Taylor shortly after. Some listeners assumed that she was trying to get a piece of the NFL star herself. However, during a recent episode of E! News, she clarified that this certainly wasn’t the case.

“What’s so funny is everyone was like, ‘Kristin was shooting her shot with Travis,'” Kristin said. “I’m like, ‘I actually wasn’t there.’ If I really have a crush on someone, I’m not gonna tell you I had a huge crush on you and was in love with you. I’ve got more game than that.”

Kristin might be divorced, but she certainly isn’t that thirsty to try to hit on Travis during a podcast interview. Thank goodness Kristin cleared this up because we don’t want our Laguna Beach legend catching heat from the Swifties.

House of Villains Episode 2 Recap: Let the Games Begin

House of Villains Episode 2 recap

E!’s House of Villains is in full swing, and with that comes our House of Villains Episode 2 recap! The first episode was everything and more. Not only did we get a trip down memory lane with OG villains Tiffany “New York” Pollard and Omarosa, but we’re also getting some newbies, like Corinne Olympios from The Bachelor and Bobby Lytes from Love & Hip Hop to keep things fresh as well.

For the Bravo fans, you’ll be happy to hear Jax Taylor from Vanderpump Rules is one of the show’s stars. However, you’ll be disappointed to know he’s one of the three nominees on The Hit List and in jeopardy of being the first sent packing.

However, anything can happen in a game like this, as we’re about to find out. Here’s what went down in Episode 2 of House of Villains, “The Lesser of Three Evils.”

Who needs the $250,000 most?

House of Villains Episode 2 recap

After leaving The Stronghold — the villains’ iconic super fortress — some cast members begin chatting about Omarosa’s nominations. Jax, of course, isn’t too happy about being up on the block. He’s not used to this sort of show. The Pump Rules alum figured you show up, go balls to the wall, and try your hardest to come out on top. He didn’t know that the first to win challenges are almost always considered the biggest threat.

The next day, Jax sits at the kitchen table with his fellow Hit List nominee, Shake Chatterjee, and they give each other the 411 about their home lives. Jax reveals that despite filming this show, he’s rolling in cash. Apparently, the villain has made a whopping $450,000 by doing Cameos (custom videos for fans) alone. And if that’s not enough dough, his wife Brittany Cartwright signed a $2 million contract with Jenny Craig.

From Shake’s perspective, Jax boasting about his sponsorships and brand deals only hurts his game. Do you need to be in the House of Villains if you’ll be well-off, regardless of whether you win this show?

The Love Is Blind star began his crusade against Jax, and he started with Bobby. Shake tells him that Jax doesn’t need the money as badly as the rest of the cast since his family signs million-dollar contracts in Hollywood. But he didn’t know Jax was around the corner listening to his every word.

“Yes, I do need the money,” he says to Shake. “Here I am, trying to be a friend, and you’re talking behind my back,” Jax said. “You don’t live in California, you don’t have a mortgage, you don’t pay California taxes. You live in Florida; you don’t even fu*king pay taxes in Florida.”

House of Villains Episode 2 recap and spoilers: Can Jax earn his safety?

The cast met up with host Joel McHale for their first redemption challenge. Here’s how it works — all three nominees will compete. The winner comes down while the other two face banishment. By then, the rest of the cast will vote out one of the remaining two.

This competition was called Blind Trust. Corinne, Jax, and Shake had to successfully make it through an obstacle course while driving a golf cart … blindfolded. They would be following instructions from their co-driver, a cast member of their choosing.

Shake chooses Johnny Bananas because of their relationship in the house. Corinne picks Bobby and Jax … he picks Jonny Fairplay. One of the most savage reality TV villains this genre has ever seen — that’s who Jax chose to be his partner. Let’s see how this one turns out.

The competition begins, and the first two groups, Shake and Bananas and Corinne and Bobby make it through the course unscathed. Their times are impressive, and they are probably neck and neck with each other. But Jax and Fairplay, on the other hand, was quite the embarrassment. To be fair, it wasn’t Jax’s fault. He had no idea Jonny would sabotage his game to ensure he had no chance of winning. But we are in the House of Villains, dude! You can’t trust anybody.

After the groups finished, Joel revealed the times. To only Jax’s surprise, he and Fairplay came in third. Corinne and Bobby were second, while Shake and Bananas came in first. Now that it’s between Jax and Corinne for banishment, the villains are working, and we know by now that anything can happen.

Who is the house’s target?

House of Villains Episode 2 recap

After the redemption challenge, the cast was off to the races. The girls agreed that Jax was a “douche” that had to bounce. While on the other side of the house, Jax was campaigning for his safety and offering promises he likely couldn’t keep.

Later in the day, while everyone was hanging in the jacuzzi, Shake aimed at Jax. “You remind me of every high school bully I grew up with,” he said before letting him know he wanted him gone. To nobody’s surprise, Jax flew off the handle, letting Shake know he’d gladly go back to jail if he ran into him on the streets of Hollywood.

After some time apart, Jax went inside the house while Fairplay, Bananas, Bobby, and Shake stayed in the jacuzzi. Of course, drinks are flowing, and Bananas is somehow able to manipulate Bobby to go into New York and Corinne’s room to start a little drama.

He happily marched up the stairs and told New York he couldn’t trust her or Corinne because they’d been slandering his name behind his back. New York fired back, letting Bobby know he was out of line.

The next day, Johnny cooked a big dinner for the cast, and it was the first time New York and Bobby would be face to face. “Oh, Bobby, please don’t even start to look this direction,” she told him. Bobby attempted to apologize, but New York wasn’t feeling it. And we can’t blame her. Bobby interrupted the HBIC’s beauty rest.

House of Villains Episode 2 recap: Did anybody go home?

House of Villains Episode 2 recap

Once again, the cast met to gather in The Stronghold. Omarosa sat on her throne while the two nominees stood before their fellow villains. Before they began voting, Joel opened the floor for people to share any final remarks. New York took a moment to say a few words.

“This one right here,” she said, pointing to Jax. “I see your heart. And it’s black, it’s ugly. … I know why you’re in the house. Because you’re a demon, and you’re demon-possessed.”

Not only did it take Jax by surprise, it shocked the entire cast. “I think I’m a good Christian father,” he said. “Do I look like a fu*king demon? I’ve never been called that in my life,” he finished while wiping his tears

But was all of that enough? It was clear the house had their minds made up before heading into the banishment ceremony. To them, Jax is too big of a threat. And keeping Corinne is better for everyone’s game in the long run. Unfortunately, the episode ends on a cliffhanger, and we’re left waiting another week to see who was sent out the front door. But if we had to guess, it’s not looking too bright for our Bravo pal, Jax.

That brings our House of Villains Episode 2 recap to a close! House of Villains continues Thursdays at 10/9c on E! and is available to stream on NBC

Bachelor in Paradise Season 9, Episode 4 Recap: The Paradise Truth Box

Bachelor in Paradise recap
Craig Sjodin/ABC via Getty Images

On Bachelor in Paradise, things had been going great for Samantha Jeffries and Aaron Schwartzman. Actually, poor Samantha has not exactly been “going” anywhere. She’s approaching 10 days in Paradise and hasn’t pooped. The doctor told her last night that if nothing had happened by sunrise today, she would have to go home and seek medical attention.

Unfortunately, sweet Aaron’s Poo Poo Platter from the previous night had no effect. When Dr. Kelly stops by to check in, he tells her it’s time to go – if only! Sam, whose on-screen name title says she’s “Packed But Not Ready to Go,” has to leave to get medical treatment. She gathers everyone together for a sad goodbye. I hope she and Aaron keep in touch. They really seem to have a connection. Or maybe Sam can come back after things work themselves out. It really is a crappy situation.

The ladies hold the power

Bachelor in Paradise recap
ABC/Craig Sjodin

This week the power has flipped again. There are currently 10 men and only seven women in Paradise. That means at least three men are going home.

Brayden Bowers and Kat Izzo started out strong, but as soon as Tanner Courtad showed up and asked her on a date, the registered nurse dropped Brayden like a bad habit. Brayden thinks he got “hustled.” Kat got his rose, then she bit off his head, like a Praying Mantis. He also calls her a “man-eater.” Brayden’s not upset or anything. Be thankful, Brayden. She released you from what could have been a nightmare of a relationship.

John Henry wants to get ‘cheeky’

@johnhenry222 via Instagram.com

Oh! Here comes another cutie down the stairs. It’s John Henry Spurlock from Season 20 of The Bachelorette (with Charity Lawson). He greets host Jesse Palmer and tells him he’s super nervous. John Henry is hoping to meet Kylee Russell. Kylee is a popular girl!

John Henry is an underwater welder. That’s one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. “Underwater in the dark, I’m good,” he says. But the thought of meeting a bunch of beautiful girls in bikinis and drinking margaritas has him terrified. Jesse hands him a date card and sends him on his way.

After getting a very enthusiastic welcome on the beach (the women are all drooling), John Henry opens up his date card: “Let’s get cheeky together.” He pulls Kat, Kylee and Olivia Lewis to talk, and even though he came to meet Kylee, he decides to take Olivia on the date.

Olivia says yes, but unlike any woman before her so far, she first asks to talk to Peter Cappio, with whom she’s been hanging out. Out of respect for Pilot Pete (not that one, the other one!), she wants to give him the courtesy of talking to him before ditching him for another guy. But Olivia came here to meet guys and have fun, so see ya, Pete! And off they go.

Strongest couple on the beach

Bachelor in Paradise recap
ABC/Craig Sjodin

Brayden thinks Aaron Bryant and Eliza Isichei are the “strongest couple on the beach … Nothing is going to come between the two of them.” Oh, don’t say that, Brayden! Somewhere Fate is saying, “Hold my beer.”

And here comes John Buresh, another one of Charity’s guys. I don’t know who it was, but one of the women audibly gasped, “Yes!” when she saw John B. He’s very tall, fit and cute. The ladies are drooling already. After introducing himself, he reads his date card: “Tonight is all about amor.” He pulls Mercedes Northrup and Eliza to chat. Aaron should hold Brayden fully responsible for that. Poor Aaron pulls a beach towel over his head to hide his tears.

When he sits down with Eliza, John B. asks her if she knows what “amor” means. Oh, John. That’s too cute. Of course, (almost) everyone knows that “amor” is Spanish for “love.” Someone forgot to tell John.

Eliza tells John she’s only talked to Aaron but wants to get to know other people. Isn’t this what got you into trouble last summer, Eliza? So, of course, John chooses Eliza and breaks Aaron’s heart.

The Paradise Truth Box

Bachelor in Paradise recap
Craig Sjodin/ABC via Getty Images

Suddenly, Bachelor in Paradise bartender Wells Adams calls out, “Hey, everybody! Come over to my bar!”

Once everyone gathers, he explains, “Sparks are flying, people are making out all over this beach. You guys are Paradising.” Wells adds that every season contestants tell him, “I wish I had said the things that I wanted to say but I was too scared to say them.”

He puts an ornately carved wooden box on the bar, introducing The Paradise Truth Box. “It’s gonna stay here all summer long,” he continues. “Anybody can write whatever they want and put it in that box.” Tomorrow night Wells will open the box and read some of the anonymous comments out loud.

Olivia predicts, “The Truth Box is going to destroy at least one couple.” Oh boy. This should be fun.

Sean makes a play for Jess

Bachelor in Paradise recap
Craig Sjodin/ABC via Getty Images

Speaking of truth, Sean McLaughlin admits that even though he accepted her rose, he doesn’t really feel a spark for Rachel Recchia. He’s pining for the Glitter Girl Jess Girod and decides to take his shot. He pulls her aside for a chat, but she’s just not that into him.

Meanwhile, Brayden sees his opportunity to grab Rachel while Sean’s away. “I think Sean’s a great dude,” the travel nurse says. “I just think he’s an idiot.” Well said. Blake Moynes encourages Brayden to go talk to Rachel. She’s fair game since Sean’s off talking to someone else.

So Brayden goes to Rachel and spills the beans that Sean’s unsure if he wants a relationship with her. This is news to her. She needs a minute.

Sean’s pissed off that Brayden basically “stabbed me in the back.” Hey, all’s fair in love, dude. Brayden’s gotta take his shot, just like you did with Jess.

Rose Ceremony Night

Bachelor in Paradise recap
Getty Images

There are now 12 men and only seven women to hand out roses at the Bachelor in Paradise Rose Ceremony. The men trudge towards the pavilion, many of them uncertain if they’ll get a rose. This may be their last night in Paradise.

After Jesse welcomes the group to the Rose Ceremony, they all head off to the bar for a drink. Wells announces that it’s time to read some notes from the Truth Box, so let’s get to it.

The first one was reportedly from Brayden complaining about Wells serving “half-shots of tequila.” The next one says, “Brayden and Rachel should make out.” I think Brayden’s been stuffing the Truth Box.

Aaron S. gets a little frustrated with the silly comments being read. “There’s a boxful of them that need to be read,” he says, “because no one’s talking to anybody.” So he interrupts Wells, grabs the box and smashes it on the ground. “If this is my last night, I’ll happily go home with two [middle] fingers in the air.”

Wells tells him, “You broke it, you read it.” Let’s go.

The Bachelor in Paradise Truth Box unleashes a she-devil

Bachelor in Paradise recap
Craig Sjodin/ABC

The first one says, “Kat played Brayden.” Yup, she did. That’s true.

The next note says, “Tanner should watch out for Kat.” Another tidbit of truth.

The next one is also about Kat. “I don’t think Kat is watching out for Jess like she thinks.” Brayden really has been stuffing the Truth Box!

Another note tells Brayden and Rachel they should make out (again). Definitely Brayden, who immediately asks Rachel if they can go “talk.” This Truth Box is the best thing that ever happened to Paradise – and Brayden.

So they finally kiss. And sparks are prolific.

While Tanner and Kat are talking, Tanner tells her that Brayden told him to be “careful of Kat.” This doesn’t sit well with her. She goes into a production interview and starts screaming, “Why are we still talking about something that happened days ago?” Everyone on the beach can hear her.

Kat has no regrets and thinks she’s done nothing wrong. She thinks she doesn’t owe anybody any explanation. Kat is leaning into psychopath territory. Tanner should beware be afraid.

A surprising twist

Five guys are going home tonight, so the men are worried and searching for options they may have overlooked. John B. really likes Eliza, but she seems serious about Aaron B.

Aaron S. admits he’s been frustrated with the process since Sam left.

Likewise, Sean realizes he’s blown his chance in Paradise and accepts that he’s probably going home. “I need a gift from the gods at this point,” he says. Sean even quit his job to come to Mexico and compete on Bachelor in Paradise. He prays to the Paradise gods to “please provide someone open to dating someone 26 years old who looks like a Ken doll.”

But wait. What’s that? A pair of female legs are walking down the stairs to Paradise. Who could it be? Please, Paradise Gods, let it be Samantha for Aaron S. Sadly, we have to wait until next week to find out.

Bachelor in Paradise continues Thursdays on ABC.
