There’s no question whether the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4 will be spectacular. And thanks to Andy Cohen, he gave us precisely the confirmation we needed.
The Park City, Utah ladies have been underway filming their fourth season since February 2023. Following the sentencing of former Real Housewives star Jen Shah for her role in defrauding the elderly, it seemed the network was ready to give this beloved city a fresh spin.
According to sources, Mary Cosby will be back in the fold in some capacity following her disappointing exit following Season 2. “Mary wanted to come back,” they revealed when cameras started rolling in February. They continued saying that Mary “was grateful for the time away from the cameras,” but she’s eager “to get back in the mix.”
Viewers also can’t forget the drama between co-stars Heather Gay and Whitney Rose. Their beef started during Season 3 over pretty rumors and continued in Phuket, Thailand, during the Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip. They didn’t leave on the best note, and per Andy’s latest comments, I wonder if the Salt Lake cousins brought the energy the last season lacked.

Andy’s latest publication, The Daddy Diaries, is the gift that keeps on giving. From behind-the-scenes details about NeNe Leakes and their unfortunate falling out to Lisa Rinna’s unforeseen Real Housewives of Beverly Hills exit, this book is essentially the sequel to Not All Diamonds and Rosé. I mean, talk about the OG bone collector.
During one of his book tour stops, Andy revealed a special text message he received from a producer on RHOSLC. “FYI, SLC trip and finale — INCREDIBLE,” the text read.
This info comes just days after insiders revealed Lisa Barlow and Whitney have been feuding during this season’s filming. “The women recently got into it with each other, and their conflict is expected to bleed into the Bermuda trip,” a source said.
We still have some time before we get a trailer or premiere date for the newest season of Salt Lake City, but for now, we’ll keep an eye out on the ladies’ social media accounts to see if there’s anything new to report.

The filings are in. The rings may be off. They’ve unfollowed each other on Instagram. What’s happening now?
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann are still living together. Or, at least that’s what’s being reported. It’s being spread about that the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Don’t Be Tardy, and NFL family are trying not to run into each other in their own home.
Everyone’s still living together I guess. Tom and Ariana, Katie and Tom did for a bit. Let’s see, Kenya and Marc were never living together, but he still wants a piece of the house. Regardless, it’s not ideal when two people part ways especially if they still love each other, or have children.
Say what you will about Kim. Say what you will about Kroy. I thought they were a match made in heaven and would be together forever. Nothing is set in stone though, right? Maybe they will work it out. Please Kim, make the ring mean a thing.
Neither has expressed wanting to leave. Actually, back in November Kim expressed she was only leaving if she chose to. And in his divorce filing, Kroy mentioned he wants ownership of the house. If money woes are what’s standing between these two, I’m punting the idea – sell your home.
The Biermann estate is worth at least $2.5M. Their loan of $1.65M was taken out in 2012, and it’s realistic to say they’ve been paying for a decade, and are now caught up. If they sold their home, maximized their brands, and got out from under their tax burden they’d have a lot more room to maneuver. They actually have a lot going for them, and they also have two adult children at home who are eligible to work.
Are they ready to change their lifestyles? Possibly cut down on box deliveries? Or is there another game plan we don’t know about?
Kim hasn’t posted an update to her 3.4M followers so it’s hard to say what she’s doing behind the scenes (other than Biermann’s Closet), but I’m sure we’ll find out in due time. Kroy hasn’t posted in forever and a day, but indicated on his bio that his ring did mean a thing. He also has a profile pic of him and Kim.

It’s good to see her back in her form. She had that hot moment where they made it seem like she didn’t have any money for glam. But her Instagram is in full swing. In fact, this isn’t the only time she’s served us Barbie recently. Back in January, she posted another believable mannequin pic – a Kenzo Paris sweater/skirt ensemble. Very 1970’s chic, and accessorized with a beret and black pointed stilettos. She was in town for Paris Fashion week, hit up the Kenzo Paris show, and even spent time with Lisa Rinna at the Hôtel de Crillon.
What else is Erika doing? Filming for Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and probably getting ready for her upcoming Bet It All On Blonde residency in Vegas. Come August, you can find her at the House of Blues living her dreams through mid-December.

The ladies of the Real Housewives of Atlanta never disappoint. They always bring the drama, and the humor, that viewers love. This was the season of Donkey Booty versus Stallion Booty. And we were introduced to two new Atlanta peaches. The legendary Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore joined the cast. I don’t think that RHOA was ever the same. Let’s review some of the bombshell moments from Season 5.
Phaedra Parks invited Cynthia Bailey to her son Ayden Nida’s birthday party. Cynthia was out of town, and Phaedra understood why she was missing the event. Well, NeNe Leakes turned up with a recording of Phaedra talking about Cynthia. That’s right- Phaedra’s donkey booty butt-dialed someone else and she was recorded insulting Cynthia.
She said, “But I don’t even give a f**k about her coming.” Knowledge is power, so Cynthia invited Phaedra out to eat so she could confront her. When Cynthia asked Phaedra if she made the comments, the proper Southern peach explained that she does not use that language. Perish the thought! And she denied ever uttering those words, even though they were recorded. Then Phaedra tried to distract Cynthia with an itchy bug bite on her breast. Props for trying to deflect, Phaedra. But that scene was awkward.
All the ladies convened to plan their trip to Anguilla. Kim Zolciak, who was very pregnant and pissed that she had to downsize to a condo, showed up. She made her husband, Kroy Biermann, wait in the car.
Kim came up with a million excuses why she couldn’t attend the trip. Her due date was as shifty as Phaedra’s was in Season 3 of RHOA. Finally, Kim admitted that she and Kroy were going on another trip that same week. The ladies were furious, as they had changed plans and missed out on business opportunities so that Kim could attend.
Kim stormed out of the restaurant and slapped a cameraman. “Get the f–k out of my face!” she screamed. Kroy came to her rescue and started yelling at the camera crew. He even threatened them. And with that, Kim exited the franchise.
During the Anguilla trip, Porsha and Kenya started arguing about Porsha’s charity event. You know, the one where Porsha called Kenya “Miss America” instead of “Miss USA.” According to Kenya, that was more proof that Porsha wasn’t being invited to any Mensa meetings.
Porsha told Kenya that her behavior and constant griping were disrespectful. As the argument intensified, Porsha called Kenya “ghetto” and “a hood rat.” Kenya repeatedly called Porsha a “b*tch” and a “non-factor.” The two ladies almost came to blows, but NeNe pulled Kenya to the side. NeNe scolded Kenya for screaming. But then, Kenya stated that she is “gone with the wind fabulous” before twirling away in her dress. At that moment, a Real Housewives icon was born.
Kenya invited Porsha to sit down and talk. Kenya wanted to explain to her fellow newbie that she was merely a pawn being manipulated by Phaedra. Porsha denied it and said that she makes up her own mind. Welp, that is a scary thought.
After the two began to bicker, they left and continued to argue on the sidewalk. “Don’t contact me to come meet you and whatever else with your ashy feet,” Porsha announced. “Bye, Ashy!” she yelled. Kenya laughed because her issues could be resolved with some lotions. Porsha’s issues? Not so much.
Kenya decided to throw an Iconic Black Women In Film party. Of course, Kenya assigned all of her fellow peaches a character. Poor Porsha was told to come as Halle Berry in BAPS. While Porsha didn’t have reservations at first, she started to feel like she was being set up.
Kenya went as Foxy Brown. Cynthia was Diana Ross from Mahogany. Kandi Burruss was Tina Turner. But when Porsha arrived, she was oozing fabulosity as Dorothy Dandridge.
The hostess claimed that there was a performance that evening that Porsha ruined by not showing up in her assigned costume. Kenya had Porsha thrown out, but Cynthia and Kandi decided to leave with her.
NeNe arrived and told Kenya that she was wrong for kicking Porsha out. Kenya allowed Porsha to return and even issued a lackluster apology.
Porsha and Kenya may have been the newbies, but they carried much of the season with their feuds. Season 5 gave us some memorable quotes. And Kim exited as a full-time RHOA cast member. These ladies continue to captivate their fans every season.

Kim Zolciak was living her life in a routine ever since she met Kroy Biermann on Real Housewives of Atlanta. She was squatting in her mansion like a princess in a castle. She passed the time by wearing her tragic wigs and drinking wine out of red solo cups. Oh, and we can’t forget her habit of being pretty problematic. Most Bravo fans didn’t need to pay much attention to Wig aside from her financial debacles because it was the same old story. That is until her house really started to crumble.
Kim and Kroy recently announced that they are going through a divorce. They spent years together and share several children with one another, so it was a shocking revelation. It’s obvious this split is messy, as is anything that ever involves Kim. Fans, for now, will be stuck watching the drama play out on Instagram since Kim hasn’t been on RHOA in a few years. Thankfully, Kim uses her social media to word-vomit her stream of consciousness, so we’ll probably get most of the tea.
Kim and her entire family live their lives on Instagram. Like, social media might be one of the family’s major streams of income as of 2023 (allegedly). I’m pretty sure her young children each have their own pages filled with sponsored posts and they probably don’t even have their own phones yet. It’s also why Kim’s online behavior since the split has been interesting to observe. She hasn’t posted anything outright about Kroy, but eagle-eyed fans noticed that Wig is doing some work in the shadows.
Kim followed in Brielle Biermann’s footsteps and unfollowed Kroy on Instagram. Kroy had also unfollowed Kim and it’s unclear who cut the virtual cord first. Kim and Kroy’s Instagram pages are still loaded with photos of one another during their happy times. If this divorce continues gaining messy momentum, it’s only a matter of time until those photos become a distant memory as well.

Watching the latest episodes of Vanderpump Rules is like a modern sleuthing caper. It’s giving Agatha Christie vibes. No, we aren’t hunting a killer. Just a sly weasel and his shameless mistress. Clues are piling up, and isn’t everyone looking for the double-meanings in each sentence, glance, and confrontation? We know how the story ends. The question is how did Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss navigate their trysts around Ariana Madix? And the whole VPR crew for that matter.
Tom Schwartz is the presumed accomplice due to his proximity with the cheating duo. His ex-wife Katie Maloney knows best how much Sandoval influences him. And Katie supports the theory that Schwartz was in the know for quite some time.
The Something About Her co-owner shared a new theory with Bravo executive Andy Cohen. She appeared on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live to react to the most recent VPR episode.
Andy asked Katie if her former line of thought was still valid. In a previous interview, Katie labeled Schwartz as a “decoy” that was “duped” by both the cheating parties.
Now, the reality TV star suggests Raquel was functioning as the sole instigator, playing all sides at once.
“I think, right after the wedding, after him and Raquel kissed is when Sandoval told him, because I think Raquel was playing funny games with Sandoval. Maybe trying to make him jealous because you know, ‘Well I’m single I can do what I want. You have a girlfriend, so I’m gonna go kiss your friend,'” she explained.
The kiss with Schwartz gave Sandoval a motive to tell his friend about the affair. It also functioned to keep Raquel in line.
Katie continued, “And so Sandoval came and put a kibosh on it and told Schwartz that him and Raquel have a thing going on so Schwartz wouldn’t pursue Raquel. That’s my theory.”
Sandoval, of course, wouldn’t have to worry about Schwartz spilling his secrets.
“So now Schwartz knows about it. But Schwartz isn’t going to do anything about it because Schwartz has been Sandoval’s like, vault for years,” she concluded.
There you have it sleuths. Katie has presented a highly plausible explanation based on her intuition of Raquel and the well-documented spineless demeanor of her ex-husband.

Welcome to Plathville can be a frustrating show to watch. The series revolves around the Plaths, an ultraconservative family who, in the kindest of terms, value family, religion, and traditional roles. But if you were to ask Olivia Plath, she’d give it to you a bit straighter than that.
Olivia married into the family when she got together with her husband, Ethan Plath. Olivia grew up highly conservative but broke free of that lifestyle when she was a teenager. Her rejection of such values often caused her to butt heads with Ethan’s parents, Barry and Kim. As with other conservative reality TV personalities, Barry and Kim aren’t exactly beloved by fans. On the flip side, because Olivia would stand up for herself and her husband, she quickly became a fan-favorite.
Olivia is a photographer by trade and does a lot of her business through Instagram. But recently, she informed her followers and any potential clients that she’d be taking a break from social media, prompting any business inquiries to come through email.
Olivia explained on Instagram that she was “taking some space” due to the loss of her brother, Micah Meggs. She said, “I lost a younger brother last night to an unexpected accident and I need some clarity and space for grieving. Unfortunately, reality TV stars aren’t immune to tragedy.
Micah was riding his electric bike on a major highway in the evening when he was struck by a car driving in the same lane going in the same direction. He is the ninth of 10 children, all of whom survived him, along with his parents, Don and Karen Meggs.
Due to a brachial plexus injury at birth, Micah lived with cerebral palsy. His loved ones asked that no flowers be given, and instead, donations be made to the United Brachial Plexus Network (UBPN). Perhaps some good can come out of this through those donations. Olivia certainly is the type of reality TV personality to support a good cause.

Season 3 of Real Housewives of Atlanta gave the fans every type of drama imaginable. Viewers witnessed a wedding, a marriage gradually falling apart, and an over-the-top baby shower. And some shocking secrets were also revealed.
Two new cast members, model Cynthia Bailey and attorney Phaedra Parks, joined the Atlanta ladies. This duo gave us some of the most memorable moments of the season. Let’s take a stroll down memory lane and revisit the bombshell moments from season 3 of RHOA.
Phaedra Parks brought all of the refined manners of a proper Southern lady. She was an attorney and was married to Apollo Nida. And Phaedra was expecting her first child. She had a maternity photoshoot with her husband. Let’s just say I will never look at a pickle the same way again.
But Phaedra gifted us a Kentucky-derby-themed baby shower that was one for the ages. Kim Zolciak rolled up late and without her hat. Phaedra made a grand entrance and later tripped the light fantastic with Dwight Eubanks. It looked at times like a beautiful wedding. And Kandi Burruss coined a term for Phaedra’s amazing rhinestones on her eyelashes: “boughetto.”
NeNe Leakes and Gregg Leakes’ marriage was certainly under a magnifying glass from being on the show. Look at how many Real Housewives marriages have failed. What seemed like a happy marriage was starting to show signs of stress. Gregg claimed that fame had swiveled NeNe’s head and changed her. He even went on a local radio show to express his frustrations…with the world. NeNe met with a divorce attorney to discuss her options. The couple’s once strong relationship was in a surprising downward spiral. Their marital issues would continue to play out during Season 4.
Phaedra claimed that she was unaware of when her baby was conceived. Or her due date. I think that most moms out there knew that this was beyond fishy.
There was some funky math going on. Especially when the RHOA cast members tried to figure out Phaedra’s miraculously shifting due date.
The mom-to-be even announced that she was being induced early. Say what? She called out Kim, who was a registered nurse, for questioning her baby’s due date.
When Kandi went to visit Phaedra in the hospital, she discovered the truth. Phaedra’s son was conceived out of wedlock, which was a big issue in her family. So, Phaedra decided to try and keep the truth from them.
Cynthia, Sheree Whitfield, and Phaedra were anxiously awaiting Kandi’s tour bus in Miami. The ladies were going to celebrate Cynthia’s bachelorette party. But Kim, NeNe, Kandi, and Kim’s assistant Sweetie Hughes were embroiled in a battle on the bus. NeNe was pissed about life in general.
So, she started telling Kim that she treated Sweetie like “a slave.” NeNe claimed that Kim was disrespectful to both her and Sweetie. The fight escalated from there. NeNe got out of her seat and headed right over to Kim. Kandi was in the middle, and other people held NeNe back. This was pure rage, and it was frightening to watch. Kim decided that her friendship with NeNe was over.
But the argument continued when the group left the bus. NeNe and Kim continued to squabble, and NeNe threatened to “snap” Kim’s neck. It was just the relaxing and rejuvenating time that Cynthia was hoping for.
I adore a Real Housewives wedding. I’m here for the dresses, the tears, the gigantic floral arrangements, and the food. But when Cynthia was preparing to wed Peter Thomas, their path to the altar was far from smooth. Peter explained to his bride-to-be, just weeks before the wedding, that they were in financial trouble. The stress of the situation took a toll on Cynthia.
Then Cynthia’s mother and sister tried to persuade Cynthia not to marry Peter. They worked out a unique angle. They hid the marriage certificate. But Cynthia insisted on marrying her groom under a canopy of dinosaur bones at a museum. And they say romance is dead.
Of course, we all know that the couple eventually ended up in splitsville. But their union spawned many more seasons of drama.
Season 3 of RHOA proved why this franchise was must-see television. It was like living through all of life’s biggest transitions in one epic season.

Andy hits The View! If you didn’t know, Andy Cohen released his new book Daddy Diaries, that tells his relatable story about being a single dad. It also incorporates other facets of his life such as: working in entertainment and his glitterati-type relationships. So, what could Andy have to say on The View? Well, it was more than the book – he teased the Vanderpump Rules reunion.
We’re waiting! The reunion is right around the corner, and the events have played out in the press for months. #Scandoval has taken the nation by storm, and The View host, Alyssa Farah Griffin, wanted the scoop on what’s to come. Andy described Tom Sandoval as “a shell of himself” during the reunion. He actually used the words “shaking” and “thin.” Was this stress manifesting (like Scheana Shay watching the trailer), or, could Tom be less than sober? Who really knows.
Andy did announce that the first interview with Ariana Madix is on Watch What Happens Live – Wednesday night after the finale. I’m sure we’ll get the lowdown from Ariana on how she is, her impression of the episode, and all these events in her life we’ve been hearing about. Girl is doing everything: playing a cop in a Lifetime movie, going to Coachella, traveling to Mexico to celebrate others, and even attended the White House Correspondents Dinner with Lisa Vanderpump and Ken (knows when something is not right) Todd. Don’t forget, Ken is the one who told us that Raquel stayed the night at Tom and Ariana’s when she wasn’t there.
Apparently, Ariana’s reunion vibe is leaning in the direction of “angry”. I think the whole thing is going to be a hot mess. The cast can’t even go to the beach together without trying to rip each other apart. If LaLa Tupac Kent says she went too hard, it went pretty far. I sometimes (i.e., always) wonder if anyone apologizes to anyone after these things? Or if anybody wants to improve?

Oof. This was another rough one. Welcome back to another week of Vanderpump Rules. We’re only an episode away from the highly anticipated reunion. For now, it’s like we’re looking into another dimension. A time before everyone knew about Scandoval. Next week, that all changes!
Last week, Tom Sandoval was getting caught in a lie thanks to Lala Kent. This polyester putz was lingering at a BBQ with his mistress while his girlfriend was home grieving the loss of her grandmother. This week, Ariana admits she’s bothered by Tom’s behavior, even if just for the fact that it opens their relationship to more scrutiny. Aim higher.
What Tom Tom lacks in staff, they make up for in jewel-toned velvet. Sandoval and Tom Schwartz are celebrating the arrival of a gigantic booth they’ve been needing. Just in time for nothing, because they’re still nowhere near opening. It’s borderline impressive.
Sandoval started complaining that Ariana Madix isn’t obsessed with him like she used to be. Schwartz added that they are acting more like roommates lately. Especially the part about hooking up with each other’s friends. Don’t forget they are both in on Scandoval at this point. In his confessional, Sandoval tried to look sympathetic. It’s not easy for him to always be wrong. He needs someone dumber than him, remember?
There’s a scene where Sandoval and Ariana talk about Tom’s lie during the barbecue. Tom and Ariana both agree that she finds him annoying to be around. She tells him that he peacocks for everyone else but is as unimpressive as a 40-year-old alcoholic around her. She deserves better. And he hates that she’s willing to say it.
Later, Raquel Leviss pulls Ariana aside to ask how things are going with Tom amid all the rumors. She specifically asked about their sex life. It’s harrowing. Ariana explains that she and Tom spend no time together and she cant be intimate with an emotional stranger. Ariana blames her own body as one of their problems, and Raquel starts crying for her. She turns this into a female empowerment moment. A dark day for the herstory books.
Meanwhile, Schwartz is enduring the full wrath of Katie Maloney following his make-out with Raquel. Schwartz upholds Brocade, and restrains himself from admitting Raquel was probably just using him as a prop. All this while he copes with the fact that the sandwich shop is opening before his bar. Did I mention his pits smell like “dirty new shirt” and lemons?
Get this woman a purple drink to spill in slo-mo. Teri Maloney came to play. She had a sit-down moment with Schwartz at the SUR afterparty. He tells her that he wasn’t thinking about Katie when he was making out with Raquel in Mexico. Teri tells him that is a slap in the face.
Later, Raquel approaches Katie to congratulate her on the sandwich shop ask why she speaks to Schwartz the way she does. I think this was supposed to be her big finale moment. The thing we were all supposed to talk about at the reunion. Which brings me to my next point. This season would have been nothing without Scandoval, and that pains me to admit.
It also pains me to be on Katie’s side in an argument. That is how utterly indefensible Raquel’s actions are at this point. Teri decided to speak on it, and she tries to reason with the youngster. Bambi rolled those eyes, though, and Katie went off.
After Mrs. Maloney told Rachel to shut up (gasp!) everything goes haywire. Sandoval jumped to Raquel’s defense and started yelling at Katie. So then Ariana yelled at Tom. Raquel tells Katie she is just jealous, and Katie shoos Raquel away. She isn’t going to be told how to live her life by some 28-year-old pageant dropout. She’s in her beret era.
After everything, Tom Sandoval sits himself down to mansplain Katie’s feelings to Teri. At the same time, Ariana is sobbing on Lisa Vanderpump’s shoulder. She was wailing that she wanted to go home. She’s struggling with the fact that she loves both Raquel and Katie and it’s hard to watch them fight. This poor innocent lamb.
There’s nothing else like it. Katie follows Schwartz outside to question his loyalty once again. For some reason, Raquel showed up to the conversation to try and explain she actually is an empathetic person. Okay then, dear. Katie basically calls her a ho, and I’m having flashbacks to the “I call it like I see it” shrug that haunts Lala to this day.
Raquel tries to tell Katie that her actions with Tom were not meant to be malicious, but the producers give us a flashback of her saying she could give a f-ck if Katie cared. And we could give a f-ck about your pick-me $700 necklace, Rachel.

It’s been some time since Todd and Julie Chrisley reported to prison to serve their lengthy sentences after being found guilty of fraud charges. Together, the couple will serve a combined 19 years — away from the cameras, away from each other, and away from their family.
Even though this has to be a difficult time for their family, Todd, Julie, Savannah, and Chase Chrisley have all stuck together despite the challenges.
“I don’t owe the public an explanation. I don’t need to explain how I feel to anybody, other than the people that I care about and that I love,” Chase said in December 2022. “Obviously, what we have been going through is hell. It is a terrible, terrible situation. But I have to try and find the good, even in the darkest time.”
After the jury reached a verdict, their networks axed the family’s several reality shows. However, according to Savannah’s newest revelation, the family could be back on our TV screens before we know it.
In a new episode of her Unlocked podcast, Savannah mentioned she and her family were working on new projects they were very optimistic about.
“I’m so excited. We actually are filming a little something on May 5, so that will be very exciting,” she said. “In the coming months, you’ll hear some fun news about people that we’ve partnered with. And I think it’s gonna be a really fun healthy partnership.”
Savannah didn’t reveal too much about what precisely this new partnership is. Still, the audience assumes it’s a docuseries-style project which will capture Savannah and Chase figuring life out with their younger siblings after sending their parents off to the slammer.
“You’re gonna have all the uncomfortable conversations,” she said. “You are going to see how we’re navigating as a family through having two parents that are incarcerated. You’re gonna see how my grandparents are dealing with things, how Chase and I are dealing with things, him and the wedding process, how I do not necessarily agree with it.”
Right now, there’s no premiere date or official announcement for the reality family’s latest show; however, Savannah promised her listeners she’d be showing up as her most authentic self. And because of that, fans may give this new series a watch.

Hello, Good Vibe Tribe! First of all, apologies for my absence last week. Did I … miss anything? Oh wait, that’s right. Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke are engaged! Did anyone see that coming? Surely not Danielle Olivera, who ended last week’s episode completely blindsided when Kyle Cooke shared the news with the entire house. So let’s start there, shall we?
While Carl and Lindsay celebrate their engagement with production at the scene of the crime, err, proposal, Danielle is busy totally spiraling back at the house. In fact, it’s pretty telling that the reaction of the entire house to the news is, well, complete silence. Until Kory Keefer breaks through the tension with a hearty “Oh sh-t!” And there’s a second surprise: they all have to go to the engagement party! Like, right now.
Danielle was unprepared for any of this news. And promptly bursts into tears, feeling the kitchen for the backyard, where she collapses into Mya Allen’s arms. She doesn’t even know if she’ll be invited to the wedding of her two best friends at this point. As she tells Kyle, there may not be any friendship left to salvage at this point.
Danielle’s reaction to being in the dark even leads to production breaking the fourth wall to comfort her as she hyperventilates in the bathroom while everyone else gets ready for Carl and Lindsay’s surprise engagement party.
As it turns out, the aforementioned engagement party isn’t just a spur-of-the-moment thing. Carl put a ton of planning into it, even flying Lindsay’s parents into the Hamptons for the first time. He also got Lindsay’s *other* best friend to come up from Washington D.C. for the moment. Which means, by my count, that he told numerous other people he was getting engaged — Kyle and Chris Leoni among them — without giving Danielle any sort of heads up. Ouch.
However, Danielle can’t keep her cool at the party. In the minutes leading up to the happy couple’s arrival, she tells every person she talks to that she has no idea Carl was proposing. She’s boiling to the point that you can see it spilling over. She just can’t help herself. It even leads to a tense, bitter exchange of words with Lindsay’s other BFF Dannia — the one Carl informed three weeks beforehand. Double ouch.
By the time Carl and Lindsay show up, Danielle manages to plaster on a smile and go along with the celebration. HubbHouse maintains the narrative that she was completely taken by surprise by Carl’s plan, but let’s be real. Would a type A control freak like Lindsay leave her proposal up to someone — anyone! —else? Paige DeSorbo calls B.S. in her confessional, pointing out the shoulder pads. The perfectly curled hair. All the signs Lindsay knew it wasn’t just a casual bonfire on the beach. And hey, good for her for being camera ready. We’d expect nothing less.
But the weekend’s not over yet. So the next day, Carl’s planned a beachside game of flag football for the whole house. Except he’s not in the best mood since Kyle pulled him aside at the party the night before to tell him Danielle was hurt and upset. (Time and place Cookie, time and place!) He informs Lindsay of Danielle’s reaction as they set up the beach. Which naturally activates HubbHouse to the nth degree in terms of getting defensive. From her POV, Danielle should know exactly why she was left out in the cold.
An afternoon of sand and tackling commences. Several housemates’ faces feel the effects — Mya doesn’t seem to understand that pelting Gabby Prescod in the kisser with the ball isn’t the way to score a touchdown.
After the game, Samantha Feher pulls Kory aside for as close to a DTR as they’re going to get. As a couple, they’re so cute and I kind of can’t help shipping them honestly. So I’m not mad at all when Kory sweetly admits he like-likes the blonde newbie and wants to see where things go after the summer.
Cut to the last weekend of the summer. It’s Labor Day weekend and Craig Conover is joining Paige in the Hamptons. Robert Sieber’s also showing up on the first night with Danielle. And Ciara Miller’s back too after being MIA for the engagement weekend. Basically, after however many weekends a summer lasts, we might finally have the entire cast together. Where is everybody going to sleep?
Lindsay’s furious with Danielle, even declaring in her confessional that she’s done with the friendship. Carl, meanwhile, is feeling guilty. But put a pin in the drama because first, the whole crew heads to a pool party somewhere in the Hamptons. Which is the perfect opportunity for Robert to pull Carl aside for a chat.
Robert’s angry that Carl didn’t even bother to reply to his congratulatory text. But he’s not here for himself, he’s here to advocate for Danielle. Carl’s excuse is that he didn’t tell any of the girls in the house. Which is even more insulting for Danielle to be considered just another girl in the house rather than Lindsay’s best friend. And one of his best friends, frankly. Remember the Tres Amigos? (Note for all future Bravolebrities: labeling yourselves the Tres *anything* never ends well.)
Both Robert and Carl both handle the conversation calmly, even when Robert points out that Danielle took a glass to the chest while defending her erstwhile bestie last season in her fight with Ciara. However, it all becomes too much for Carl when Robert turns the subject to his and Lindsay’s relationship and calls the couple “two people who got engaged that we knew one time.” So he storms off, and when Kyle tries to follow with cameras, he retreats even furthering, flipping the cameras off in the process with a “To Be Continued…”
