It’s a week of milestones for the ladies of Real Housewives of New Jersey as they celebrated proms, graduations, and birthdays galore.
Teresa Giudice sent Gia off to prom wearing lots of shiny, sparkly makeup. Cause obviously no Giudice is compete with out an orange glow! Gia at prom though – what an OMG moment! Is she really this grown up?!

Gia has literally lived a lifetime on Bravo, and she seems to be the only level-headed, adult member of the Juicy clan, so at least Teresa has done that right. Gia looked lovely and happy. Sadly her dad Joe wasn’t there as he lingers in prison pumping iron.

Dolores Catania‘s son Frankie also went to his senior prom where it appears he kept his shirt on and wore a suit. Then the entire family headed to University of Delaware to watch Dolores’ daughter Gabby graduate. Congrats.
Siggy Flicker‘s beloved obsession Joshua escaped her clutches and managed to sneak his girlfriend out. No doubt Siggy cried, chased the limo down the driveway waving a hanky, and then threw herself on the ground in a fit of bawling because her Joshy is grown up and left her alone with only wine for consolation.

Phaedra Parks‘ divorce from Apollo Nida is far from over, but her love for him sure got a proper Phuneral By Phaedra. With her Real Housewives Of Atlanta career also dead, Phaedra is moving on and opening up about her complicated divorce process and being a single mom.
Of course, just when Phaedra is emotionally done with all things Apollo, she’s forced to confront him again in court with a re-divorce. “[The divorce] was finalized last year in July so of course that obviously made me assume I had regained my independence and a new start,” she admits. “So to be placed back into a position where I have to do it all over again … it’s disheartening, but it’s a process and I can’t obviously change it.”

Phaedra has “made some motions” to contest Apollo’s claim that he was blindsided by the divorce filing and his recent request to have their prenup considered invalid because it was signed before Phaedra was earning a Real Housewives paycheck.
Phaedra denies that Apollo was ever “out of the loop,” insisting, “He was very active throughout the process.”
I believe the only reason Apollo is fighting for more money is because he owes more than $2 million in restitution, but considering the he’s not contributing any child support while locked up, you would think he’d be gracious about the whole thing. This seems to have been his plan all along. Lie down with criminals, wake up conned I suppose!

Being “basically at the beginning part of the divorce” again is “very frustrating” for Phaedra. “It’s very expensive, it’s very emotionally draining and quite time consuming. It’s a very difficult process and it’s unfortunate that it was overturned but it is what it is and so I’ll go through the process again and we’ll see what happens this time.”
Phaedra adds, “Hopefully it won’t take as long as it did the first time.”
In other Apollo news, recently he’s been out of contact with their sons because he’s reportedly in solitary confinement. Perhaps he’s saving those phone calls for his new fiancé Sherien Almufti?! Ayden and Dylan’s relationship with Apollo has certainly suffered from his incarceration. Phaedra reminds us that Dylan “was barely a year old” when Apollo went asunder “so he doesn’t really have the recollection of Apollo like Ayden has.”

“Ayden of course has very fond memories of his father,” Phaedra tells Us Weekly. “He realizes that he’s in New Jersey, but as far as specifically, Apollo told them, but I don’t think they appreciate really what being incarcerated means. Because they are at such a tender age, that’s not something I’m really honing in on.”
Phaedra is considering bringing the boys to visit Apollo this summer but hasn’t committed.
For sure, though, Phaedra is returning to Flint, MI, for another year of her summer camp, but this time she’s taking the boys with her instead of Kenya. They’re also taking trips to Florida; Utah, to see some national parks; Arizona, for the Grand Canyon; and Italy for a week. Oh… how the other half lives… the Real Housewife half that is!

This week, Real Housewives of Potomac showcased a fight between Ashley Darby and her husband Michael Darby.
When he failed to support her plan for a more American-friendly menu for their struggling Australian-themed restaurant Oz, Ashley told Michael she was sick of him treating her like a child instead of an equal partner. Then she threatened to leave him. In her blog, Ashley admits that she should have given Michael more notice about her plans for the menu reveal event. “It was the beginning of a miscommunication that snowballed,” says Ashley.

Ashley explains, “I assumed Michael would agree and we would have a killer event that would prove all of the naysayers wrong. In hindsight, I could have taken a different approach and discussed my rationale for planning the dinner with Michael further in advance.”
About the fight in the parking lot, she shares, “The air between Michael and me was already sour because we had been going back and forth on the logistics of the evening for a couple of days. In addition to the anxiety of hosting influential food bloggers, I was arguing with my right-hand man, putting my anxiety at a higher level than I’ve ever experienced. I hate arguing with my husband – life is hard enough game without battling your teammate. Because both of us care about Oz so much, it was hard to go into the night without our usual solid foundation.”
Ashley acknowledges that both she and Michael are guilty of having “egos that get in the way” of their relationship.
“And on that night my bruised ego caused me to say horrible things to the man that I love. I winced when I heard myself talk about massaging his feet and rubbing his back – those are the two things I miss doing the most since we shifted our focus and energy to the restaurant. As the night went on, I think our shared love for our first ‘baby’ brought our relationship back into focus. It pains me to see that we ever got to that point, but neither of us is perfect, and neither is our relationship. What it boils down to is, finding our unity even through this storm, and we are a constant work in progress.”
About apologizing to Charrisse, she insists, “I am genuinely sorry to Charrisse Jackson Jordan. In my anxiety I misdirected my anger toward her when I needed to concentrate on what was actually bothering me – the frustration of finding balance and peace in my personal life.”

“Part of the experience of being a Real Housewife is being able to see yourself for who you truly are because we share the intimate details of our lives with the world,” reflects Ashley. “These ladies are on the journey with me, so I want to aim to help them understand me as best I possibly can. I give them my true self – they can take it how they please.”
Ashley admits in her blog that threatening to leave Michael was a knee jerk reaction – one that she didn’t mean – to their fight.
“That ultimatum came out of a paramount amount of frustration. Michael and I had gone through ebbs and flows with the restaurant up to that point, so I was not in a good space. Even though I was upset, it was not prudent for me to say something as drastic as threatening to end my marriage because of a business. One of the things I am working on (with the help of a professional) is saying what I actually feel versus what I think will get the most reaction. My true feelings are far more important than leaving a mark.”
In the end, Ashley says that Oz is in a much better place these days, but sadly, her marriage is still a work in progress.
“Oz is doing much better now that we have found our groove, but we are still working through the toll it took on our relationship. I would be lying to you if I said we were back to the crazy, doting couple we used to be. We still love each other and the connection that Michael and I share is very powerful. I am optimistic that we can overcome these hurdles and be stronger in the end, but even if we can’t recover and decide to part ways, I will always cherish him.”
