Bravolebrities With Books Actually Worth Reading

Carole Radziwill

Bravolebrities and books seem to go hand-in-hand. I wouldn’t dare suggest that every Bravo star is a gentleman (or woman) and a scholar. But some Bravolebrities have really stepped out of their comfort zones to put pen to paper and write about their life experiences, in books that are genuinely worth reading. It’s not that we fans really needed to deep dive into why they are the way we are, but some, I dare say, could be literary classics.

Andy Cohen: “Most Talkative: Stories from the Front Lines of Pop Culture”

Honestly, I forgot the Bravo kingpin penned a book back in 2012, but it wasn’t half bad. The man behind the Real Housewives franchise knew one thing: he loved reality TV. After graduating from Boston University, Andy Cohen had a love affair with pop culture, which isn’t surprising since he has become a pop icon in his own right. The proud St. Louis native really made the pages come to life as he shared his life from a young child to Bravo king.

Between stories and antidotes, fans learned that Andy’s passion really blossomed after he interviewed Susan Lucci for his college newspaper. Andy goes on to tell pretty funny stories about his 10 years with CBS News and encounters with A-D-list celebs. Fans can get a one-of-a-kind glimpse into Andy’s world, which is great for any Bravo fanatic.

 Teresa Giudice: “Turning the Tables”

No one can tell me differently that Teresa Giudice flipping the table in Season 1 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey wasn’t iconic. So it makes perfect sense that the mother of four would use her moment to catapult her into a best-selling book. I’m not ashamed to say I’ve read it, and even though I knew most of the drama, the book pulled me in.

The book was Tre’s first tell-all memoir. She shares what it was like to grow up in an Italian-American family, dealing with reality TV, and finally admitting she went to prison instead of saying she “went away.”

The book featured scans from her personal prison diary and captured some of the shocking moments of her stay in federal prison. The sentence was less than a year, but she learned about prison sex, glam behind bars, and that family is everything. Hopefully, she also learned to read everything ever put in front of her from now on.

Brandi Glanville: “Drinking & Tweeting”

If you’re a housewife who finds herself almost always getting into trouble on social media after a glass of red wine, writing an advice book about it makes total sense. Brandi Glanville has had more than one online feud, so the bad girl of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills decided to write a memoir about it.

In my opinion, the book is a breath of fresh air since she is brutally honest. It also might be an interesting read since she has been back in the headlines for accusing Andy of sexual harassment

After her ex-husband left her to marry LeAnn Rimes, readers could understand why Brandi would get so heated since it seemed she was gaslit a lot when she was married. My only complaint was that, at first, the hashtags were cute. Then they were a little grating. By the end, it made me want to get on a plane, fly to Beverly Hills, knock on her door, point to one of her hashtags, and glare in disappointment. #JustSaying. But I also get the concept since her book was about tweeting. All in all, it made me sympathize with her plight a bit more.

Carole Radziwill: “What Remains”

I always liked Carole Radziwill, and it wasn’t just because she made for a perfect Real Housewives of New York City star; it was because she was, first and foremost, a fabulous journalist. Clearly, I looked up to her, so when she released her memoir about life and death, I had to read it. The stunning and tragic story about her time with John F. Kennedy Jr., his wife Carolyn Bessette, and his cousin Anthony Radziwill really stuck with me.

She lost her best friend Carolyn in the plane crash and only three weeks later lost her husband, Anthony, to cancer. Carole tells a magical story of old-world Europe after marrying her literal Prince Charming, but the story begins and ends with loss, so grab the tissues.

There was never any doubt in my mind that Carole wrote this book, even though some of her RHONY castmates accused her of having a ghostwriter. The story was carefully and intentionally crafted in a way that celebrity memoirs typically aren’t. While Carole’s story would have been compelling on its own, it’s clear that her love of language and telling stories guided this book.

Tipsy Real Housewives Antics That Made Us Laugh

Photo by: Charles Sykes/Bravo via Getty Images

These days, many Real Housewives are noticing that their drinking habits have been over the top. Therefore, several have entered into sobriety, which we’ve loved watching on Bravo. On the flip side, it’s also been fun to watch these stars who have known their limits, giving us comedy gold, not felon vibes. In honor of Erika Jayne‘s hysterical moments in Barcelona, these are the other Real Housewives whose tipsy antics have made us chuckle.

Meredith Marks’ Drunken British Accent

@ChrysoulaPapas/Twitter

During Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4, a slightly inebriated Meredith Marks confronted Angie Katsanevas at dinner. While angrily telling Angie that she “can leave” their table, Meredith’s voice randomly slipped into multiple British accents. We couldn’t help but laugh at home, because this is the type of drunken fighting that makes Real Housewives fun.

Teresa Giudice’s Bachelorette Shower

Bravo/YouTube

Teresa Giudice‘s costars on Real Housewives of New Jersey attended her bachelorette party in Season 13, and zero tables were flipped. Instead, these girls invited the locales to join them in a chugging contest. Watching fans of this series drink alongside this often volatile cast showed us all a fun, lighter side to these ladies. We need more unifying scenes on this series, where the liquor results in comedy, not fights.

Melissa Gorga’s DGAF Drunken Honesty

Bravo/YouTube

When Melissa Gorga entered back into the workforce with the opening of her shop on RHONJ, her husband Joe Gorga belittled her income, basically calling it crumbs to his cake. So when tipsy in Season 9, Melissa’s drunken honesty saw her yelling “f*ck your crumbs” to Joe, who thankfully laughed. Melissa also grabbed Teresa’s chest, a cake was thrown, and everyone enjoyed their night. We loved this scene, where the tipsy Real Housewives came together, and their antics were light.

When Luann de Lesseps Met the Bushes

Bravo/YouTube

When the OG cast of Real Housewives of New York traveled to Mexico in Season 9, the liquor was flowing. After a conversation on the steps leading into their house, a tipsy Luann de Lesseps took one step up, and then one step over, landing directly into the bushes. This moment has been reenacted and shared online so many times, we’ve lost count. Even Luann laughed, making this one of the funnier drunken moments seen on this series.

The Tres Amigas Ringtone Dance

@nocarbsforsam/TikTok

Vicki Gunvalson, Shannon Beador, and Tamra Judge are the Tres Amigas on Real Housewives of Orange County. Well, they were, since this once unbreakable friends group is now DOA, yet, prior to this, these ladies really knew how to “whoop it up.” One of our favorite scenes of theirs was when they were all slightly drunk and a cell phone rang, causing them to dance and laugh, as Vicki forgot how to accept an incoming call. We died, and now, we miss these types of fun antics from the Tres Amigas.

Girls Gone Ojaild

The Real HouseMATES of NY/Instagram

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 3 was one of the greatest seasons for this series, as the laughter far outweighed the drama on this cast. One of our favorite moments with these ladies though was when they traveled to Ojai. Here, a drunken night out ended with a gymnastics and arm-wrestling contest in one of the ladies bedrooms, and it was the opposite of ladylike. We loved every bit of these RHOBH stars in this scene.

Kenya Moore at a Slumber Party

@cicilovesyou/YouTube

Shereé Whitfield hosted a slumber party during Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 14, but it was drunk Kenya Moore who was the real star of this event. While others fought, Kenya took jabs on the chin, laughing and saying that she was “the moment,” before running all over the house, giggling. We love fun Kenya, and we also think that her silly tipsy moves saved this scene on RHOA.

The Barcelona Dinner of our Dreams

CURRENT EPISODE BY CADE/Instagram

This is probably our favorite moment on this entire list. A tipsy and happy Erika is our favorite, which she was both of during the recent cast trip to Barcelona. At a dinner hosted by Sutton Stracke, which included Sutton’s aristocratic friends, Erika interrupted a sweet conversation about Merce Cunningham. Merce was a friend of Sutton’s who had passed away, and Sutton was in pocession of his ashes, which were sealed up nearby.

“Look, can I say something? I know you love Merce, but Merce was in a Ziploc bag,” Erika said. At this point, the other ladies began raising their eyebrows, while also attempting to hide their laughter. In addition, Erika shocked everyone with her wealth of knowledge, which included facts on Beirut and even architecture.

This caused Dorit Kemsley to state, “It’s like watching drunk Rain Man.” We basically laughed all throughout this entire dinner. Truly, Erika’s tipsy statements helped to bring lightness to what could have been a very somber dinner, and on this, we were grateful.

Scheana Shay’s Best Moments on Vanderpump Rules

Scheana Shay

Scheana Shay celebrated 10 years as a Vanderpump Rules cast member in 2023. To celebrate the Good as Gold singer’s reign on the show, let’s take a look back at some of her unforgettable moments.

Here are Scheana’s five best moments on Vanderpump Rules.

When She Wore a Crop Top Wedding Dress

Photo by Greg Doherty/Bravo via Getty Images

Scheana’s Season 3 crop top wedding dress will always be iconic. Scheana was ridiculed for the fashion choice by fans and her castmates. Most notably Stassi Schroeder, who referred to the ensemble as “the ugliest f***ing wedding dress.”

The dress wasn’t for everyone but it was perfect for Scheana. Sure, it was a little over the top but so is she. Like she said, she planned a wedding on a waitress’ salary. Cut her some slack!

She reflected on the infamous dress during a 2021 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, telling Andy Cohen she has no regrets about sporting a crop top on her special day.

She tied the knot for a second time with new beau, Brock Davies in Season 10 of VPR, but this time, she went with a more classical bridal gown. The Bravo star’s second wedding dress was much more glamorous but we still have a soft spot for the first one.

When She Bought Adam a Penguin

In Season 7, Scheana went fully overboard and bought her situationship, Adam Spott, a penguin. Yes, you read that right.

Adam was upset because she went on a date with a male model even though he told her he didn’t want a committed relationship. Classic situationship. She felt bad and wanted to show Adam she cares, so she bought him a penguin. Insane! According to Scheana, the gift cost her $1000, which is a wild amount to spend on someone who is not your boyfriend.

The gesture threw Adam off because you know, they weren’t dating. It was truly unhinged behavior but it was perfect television.

When She Sang Good as Gold at Her Bachelorette Party

Photo by: Charles Sykes/Bravo via Getty Images

Let’s face it, Good as Gold is a bop – to some people. Thank you Uber One ad for giving it a resurgence. We love all of Scheana’s Good as Gold performances but her performance at her Bachelorette party has to take the cake. First of all, being the entertainment at your own Bachelorette party is next level iconic. The performance was so memorable. She wore gold gold booty shorts, danced on the bar, and sang a little off-key. What more could you ask for?

When She Didn’t Want to Ruin Her Eyelashes

Photo by: Eugene Gologursky/Bravo via Getty Images

In the Season 3 premiere of Vanderpump Rules, Scheana confronted Tom Sandoval about the Miami Girl rumor. She got emotional during the scene because she wanted to protect her friend, Ariana Madix. The moment of selflessness was out of character for Scheana and fans thought, “Wow, she’s really changed since Season 1.” However, the sweet sentiment didn’t last longer. She quickly wiped her tears and stated, “I can’t cry because these eyelashes are mink.” This moment still has us laughing and perfectly sums up her personality. She has a heart of gold but she can be a bit vain.

When She Told off Sandoval

Photo by: Charles Sykes/Bravo via Getty Images

Scheana was #TeamAriana in the Season 10 finale. The VPR star told off Sandoval during a scene at her home. Sandoval tried to put the blame on Ariana, saying he felt as though he couldn’t end the relationship because of her mental health struggles. Scheana was not having it. She instructed him on how he should have handled the situation.

“You be a f***ing adult and you have a conversation with her,” she told him. “You fly in [her mom] Tanya, you bring over [her brother] Jeremy, and you have all her f***ing friends there ready to rally around her like we’re doing right now.”

“You literally say I’m leaving, I’m not happy, and then we pick up the pieces that you f***ing left,” she continued. “You don’t f*** her friend.”

Scheana is suchhh a people pleaser, so we were absolutely living for her confrontation with Sandoval. She really had Ariana’s back (albeit temporarily) and we were so proud.

We’re hoping to get some more iconic Scheana moments on Vanderpump Rules during Season 11.

Why Kyle Richards Is Carlos King’s Favorite Real Housewives Star

Photo by Emma McIntyre | Getty Images

Former Bravo producer and commentator Carlos King shared why Kyle Richards is his favorite Housewife. At the time of writing this article, one might consider that an unpopular opinion.

Many Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 viewers found themselves frustrated with Kyle over each episode. The season appeared to be built around the promise that fans would come to understand what was going on with Kyle’s marriage.

However, in practice, Kyle was not all that forthcoming. Fans felt shortchanged and frustrated with the show and with Kyle. Nevertheless, Carlos has defended his position of Kyle as his favorite Housewife.

Carlos felt Kyle stood up for herself

In a recent interview on Two Ts In A Pod, Carlos shared, “Kyle Richards is my favorite Housewife. Everybody knows that; I’ve said it for years.” He further expressed, “When she said it was nobody’s f*cking business, I’m like, it’s my business, though, because I’ve been following you for 15 years.”

Carlos went on, “I appreciate that Kyle is trying to keep the peace.” Huh? “And she’s trying not to reveal much.” Clearly. “Because she still has a young child.” Ah. Perhaps that’s fair enough. However, one might argue that Kyle’s attempts to “keep the peace” by not revealing much has created more unrest.

Moreover, there are other more explicit ways in which Kyle showed she was not interested in keeping the peace, like her bullying behavior toward Sutton Stracke. Still, Carlos shared his respect for Kyle: “For the first time in the history of her career on Housewives, she finally said, ‘I’m not gonna answer that. ‘Cause to her credit … Kyle has always been transparent.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is available to stream on Peacock.

Kathy Hilton Branded ‘Heartless’ for Laughing During Sutton Stracke’s Health Scare

Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, Kathy Hilton and Kyle Richards at the RHOBH Season 13 reunion
Photo by: Todd Williamson/Bravo via Getty Images

Who knew that Kathy Hilton joining the Season 13 Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion wouldn’t be the night’s biggest surprise? Sutton Stracke suffered a medical emergency, which some of her co-stars didn’t seem very concerned about.

Sutton began to shake and Garcelle Beauvais told the medics that she had complained about being hot. Her blood pressure and heart rate were elevated. But don’t worry, guys. Kathy was there to comfort make fun of her friend.

Kathy diagnosed Sutton with hot flashes

Kathy remarked that Sutton was having a “hot flash.” She said, “Sutton, you’re 49 years old. It’s bound to happen.” When Sutton told the medic that she “got scared,” Kathy commented, “Why?” Oof.

Then, as the medic continued to assess Sutton, Erika Jayne, and Kathy enjoyed a little chat. “How have you been?” Erika asked. Kathy replied that she “didn’t get to enjoy” the holidays. Then the duo discussed how Kathy just took her Christmas tree down. You know, the normal things you discuss during a co-worker’s health scare.

Kathy hints that Sutton faked her symptoms

As Sutton was being escorted to her dressing room, Kathy was joking about Sutton leaving. Kathy told her sister, Kyle Richards, “I was about to go after her next.” Kathy continued, “I was about to [go after her]. I think she knew it. It’s a good way to get out of being here,” she added as Erika laughed.

Well, RHOBH fans weren’t happy with Kathy and Erika’s behavior. One fan posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, “KATHY IS WILD FOR THIS! Like what the actual… Did she just drag Sutton while she’s like having a panic attack and then carry on having a casual convo with Erika about the holidays and replying to some texts?”

“So she willed her blood pressure and pulse up to dangerous level. Man, she is amazing,” another user posted. And one user called Kathy, “disgusting and heartless.” The feelings were pretty unanimous, as someone else wrote, “It’s rude and uncaring. Erika cares about no one but herself.”

After her trip to the ER, Sutton shared what caused her frightening symptoms. She was diagnosed with a severe case of bronchitis, dehydration, and exhaustion. “Between those three things, it was the trifecta of sickness, so I had to stay in bed for about 10 days,” Sutton shared. So, I guess she wasn’t faking to avoid Kathy, her supposed friend.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is streaming on Peacock.

Watch: Gina Kirschenheiter Caught Shouting at RHOC Newbie Filming Season 18

Gina Kirschenheiter at BravoCon 2023
Photo by Greg Doherty/Bravo via Getty Images

Gina Kirschenheiter has always been one of the more mellow Housewives across franchises, especially when compared to her Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars. But while her castmates might be called over-the-top, Gina could conversely be labeled as boring.

This is why a recent video that surfaced online caught the attention of Bravo fans. The clip showed Gina yelling at RHOC newcomer, Katie Ginella. See the clip, and the follow-up, below.

RHOC Season 18: Gina calls out Katie for her “BS”

On March 14, reality TV commentator @queensofbravo posted a story from @crystalbehrensrealtor on Instagram. Crystal Behrens was out and just so happened to find the RHOC cast. There, she managed to catch some behind-the-scenes footage, posting a story of Gina yelling at Katie, the new girl on the block.

The audio is rather hard to make out, but as best as can be heard, Gina was filmed saying, “You’re incorrect. You are lying about this and what you’re doing here, Katie, is not right and I’m not okay with it. I brought you in to be my friend – into this group. You’re making your bullsh*t my bullsh*t and I don’t appreciate that.”

Crystal later posted a follow-up with more footage of Gina shouting. She contextualized the scene by writing, “They just finished a bike ride through the vineyards and are now enjoying a peaceful day of winetasting here,” marking Russian River Vineyards as the location. It was even more difficult to hear Gina in this second clip due to people talking over her.

The group referenced a party they’d previously attended. Gina said what sounded like, “We’re going backwards and it’s all falling on me.” It sounded as though she further remarked, “First of all, all I’m hearing from you, Katie, is ‘Do you know how sad I am right now? Do you know what’s going on-” and at that point, the story ended. This could be a juicy new season!

Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18 is expected to hit Bravo in late 2024.

Summer House Season 8, Episode 4 Recap: Groundhog Day

Summer House Season 8, Episode 4 recap
Photo: Santiago Felipe/Getty Images

Welcome to our Summer House Season 8, Episode 4 recap! In this week’s episode, titled “Runaway Bride,” it’s all Carl and Lindsay, all the time. Sadly, the engaged couple is just having the same fight over and over. Lindsay gets aggressive because she’s drinking and accuses Carl of being on drugs. And when they try to talk through their differences, it just ends up in another fight. Here are some of the highlights from Summer House Season 8, Episode 4.

Too much togetherness

Summer House Season 8, Episode 4
Photo: Clifton Prescod/Bravo

Lindsay and Carl are the first to arrive at the house for the weekend. Lindsay makes a cup of tea and is chilling in the backyard when Carl comes out and says, “Come on, babe, hang out with me!”

“What do you want to do, man?” she responds.

Lindsay just needs a little time to herself. “Carl and I are like COVID times, right?” she says in a confessional. “Carl doesn’t have a nine-to-five job, and we’re on top of each other a lot. You need space to miss each other. You need time away from each other to, like, breathe. And then we share a house together on the weekends.”

Everybody goes out to dinner rather than cooking at home. At the table, Lindsay clinks her martini glass to make a toast. “Good vibes,” she says, “but on the real, I’m really enjoying, like, this camaraderie with the group. I think the boys bringing in boy energy is great.”

In response to her recognition, the guys jokingly begin to bark. Dogs in the House!

“Do you hear Carl’s bark?” West asks.

“I don’t want to hear Carl’s bark because I might give the ring back,” she snaps. Wow! That was a little harsh.

The rest of the group exchanges looks, a little stunned, and Kyle mutters, “What?!”

“I feel like hanging out and enjoying each other’s company,” Lindsay continues, oblivious to the crowd. “[I want to do] things together, like, I feel like we didn’t have last summer, especially us [to Danielle] … we’re doing great.”

“That is true,” Gabby agrees. “We are on a different path than last summer.”

“Let’s cheers,” Kyle adds.

Same fight, different day

After dinner, everybody except Amanda decides to go out to the club, but Carl and Lindsay return early. “Can you unzip me, please?” Lindsay asks.

“No, I can’t,” Carl snaps, moving away from her. Wow. He’s really angry.

“Should I sleep in another room?” she asks.

“That’s up to you,” he responds. “I’m not gonna be spoken to the way you are … You’re accusing me of doing drugs, again.”

In a confessional, Carl explains, “We were at dinner. It’s 11:30. I’m tired, and I’d like to go home. She comes with me. As soon as we get in the car, ‘What’s wrong? Something’s wrong with you.’ I’m like, ‘Lindsay, … I’m just tired.’ Not good enough. She won’t let it go, continues to keep going in on it, and then I say, ‘How many drinks have you had?’ And then she goes, ‘What are you on?’”

“I’m not on anything,” he tells her, but she says, “You’re a liar.”

“So infuriating,” Carl concludes. It must be so frustrating trying to maintain a sober life when your partner is drinking, and she was hitting the vodka martinis pretty hard at dinner.

“You can’t accuse me of doing drugs,” he tells Lindsay. “It’s so f*cked up.”

“Carl, do you smoke weed?” Lindsay asks.

“I do, but I didn’t smoke weed tonight,” he responds. That worries me. I know a lot of people who are in AA, and weed is a slippery slope when you’re working on your sobriety. Some people think it’s okay to be “California sober,” but that’s not really sober for most people. Just ask Lala Kent.

Next, she accuses Carl of picking a fight with her when she was the one who started it.

“I’ll talk to you in the morning,” Carl says. “Thanks so much for your support.”

Lindsay vents to Amanda

Lindsay corners Amanda in the kitchen, where she’s making a ramen snack.

“He’s literally, like, the biggest f*cking gaslighter I’ve ever met,” she tells Amanda.

“Lindsay, you’re more stressed than normal,” Amanda comments.

“Everyone wants to pin everything on me, Amanda,” Lindsay says. “He is a f*cking terrorist!”

She says that Carl was picking at her in the car on the way home. “And I’m like, ‘Why are you this aggressive with me?’ And then he’s, like, switching the narrative, and he’s, like, ‘Well, you’ve been drinking.’ If you’re gonna accuse me of drinking, then you’d better come clean.”

“Carl is the most amazing human being ever,” Lindsay says, “but he has a lot of demons. And those demons come out on me.” I think Lindsay’s got a few demons of her own, honestly. She gives as good as she takes.

“It’s a Jekyll and Hyde, smoke and mirrors situation. I’m not joking, and I’m the only human on earth who has ever seen his bad side. No one knows.”

Poor Lindsay. She’s such a victim. I really hope all those people who think Carl “blindsided” Lindsay are watching this season.

Jesse weighs in

Summer House Season 8, Episode 4 recap
Photo: Noam Galai/Bravo

The next morning Carl tells us in another confessional, “What happened in the car, happened. It’s unfortunate that it’s not on camera for you guys to watch, but it’s a reality. I was dead sober. I don’t care that Lindsay drinks, but I care how her behavior changes when she drinks. It’s a key difference. There’s plenty of people that can drink, and they do not turn into aggressive, volatile, detective crazy.”

Jesse asks, “What happened last night, dude? … Like, has she always been like this?”

“At times, yes,” Carl admits.

“So that’s what you’re signed up for,” Jesse shrugs. A lifetime of crazy, volatile behavior. Carl just thought it would get better “as we matured.” I don’t think it works that way, Carl.

“I’m not an expert on long-term relationships,” Jesse confesses. “I’ve never been engaged. I don’t know what I don’t know, but I can’t imagine this is how it’s supposed to go. Shouldn’t [being engaged] be fun? It sounds miserable.”

The housemates offer counsel

Summer House Season 8, Episode 4
Photo: Felix Kunze/Bravo

Amanda asks Lindsay, “What starts the arguments?”

“Anything could start it,” Lindsay says. “He’s always questioning my alcohol intake. So if you’re gonna [do that], I’m gonna start questioning your intake of what you do.”

“You do keep [accusing him of] doing drugs,” Amanda observes. “And we know how sensitive the word ‘drug’ is with him, given his past.”

“I find it hypocritical,” Lindsay says. “If you’re gonna judge me for drinking alcohol, then why can’t I also question you for smoking weed?”

Carl explains to the guys that last night in the car, Lindsay started asking him, “What are you on?”

He gets emotional when he says, “I’ve worked really hard to get to where I’m at, and now two weekends in a row, she’s accusing me of doing drugs or being on something. It’s just really unfair. It hurts.”

“She’s highly irrational,” Kyle adds. “She said point-blank to Gabby, she’s like, ‘Oh, it’s like the old Carl.’”

“It’s not the old Carl,” he responds. “I mean, if she really wants old Carl, I’ll f*cking burn this house down. I’ll drink 15 Loverboys, and we’ll have a real f*cking problem.”

In the car on the way to lunch, Jesse tells Gabby, “I’m Team Carl right now. My boy needs some support.”

When Gabby asks if Carl is okay, Jesse says, “No, he’s not … To work so hard on your sobriety and then to just have your significant other try to … accuse you of sh*t when you’re actually doing the right thing is just so offensive.”

Gabby confesses, “It’s … extremely sh*tty … to accuse someone who is sober that they could have compromised their sobriety. She’s gonna have to own up to that because that’s not okay.”

Making up is hard to do

Carl Radke for Summer House Season 8

Finally, Carl and Lindsay talk. “I just want to hear your perspective of last night,” she begins.

“I’m not doing drugs, Lindsay,” Carl says.

“I never accused you of doing drugs,” she claims. “I said you smoke weed.”

“You said, ‘Are you on something?’” he counters. Carl says he was tired and just didn’t feel like going out.

When she says he was aggressive, he responds that she was swearing, raising her voice, and saying he was “on something.”

“So you’re changing the narrative,” Lindsay says.

“I’m not changing the narrative, Lindsay,” Carl argues calmly. “Just take some responsibility.”

“So it’s okay for you to judge me for drinking,” Lindsay says, “ but it’s not okay for me to ask if you smoked weed?”

“I was sober,” he says. “And you called me a f*cking liar … You [accused me of] doing drugs. I will not allow that because that’s so hurtful, and if you don’t understand why, then we have a bigger problem.”

Lindsay says, “I knew … you were not ready for a conversation. I knew you were too angry.”

And with that, she gets up and walks away. How can you have any a relationship with someone who never takes responsibility?

Back at the house, Gabby tells Lindsay that she needs to take responsibility for her words and the way she communicates with Carl. But, of course, nothing is ever Lindsay’s fault. In a huff, she leaves the house and squeezes out the front gate. Is she going to walk back to New York?

TO BE CONTINUED…

Summer House continues Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
