Sorry Christmas, but Big Brother 19 is really the gift that keeps on giving. Last night’s first Big Brother 2017 live eviction did not disappoint; it had tears, fights, and blindsides. It was a night of Big Brother Live Feeds gold.
Most of the drama revolved around Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf’s reactions to them being completely blindsided by Jillian Parker‘s eviction. Of course, they weren’t pleased about it, but they took the drama to a new over the top level. We were very entertained.
Most of the Big Brother 19 morning feeds focused on Josh Martinez deciding what to do with his vote. The previous night, he decided to vote with his friends, Alex Ow, Jason Dent, Ramses Soto, and Kevin Schlehuber, but in the morning, he changed his mind.
Paul Abrahamian and Christmas Abbott made sure that Matthew Clines and Mark Jansen promised Josh their loyalty and protection. This made him feel comfortable enough to vote with their side. Of course, we know that he (and Kevin) did vote against their friends, which resulted in an 8 to 4 eviction of Jillian.
Immediately following last night’s Big Brother 19 episode, the Candy Crush themed Head of Household competition happened. It didn’t last long before Paul won it (with the help of his power alliance).
The house then further began to implode.
Last night, we found ourselves impressed by Kevin’s gaming skills, because he made his alliance believe that Ramses betrayed them. He voted out Jillian, not him. Alex, Cody, Jessica, and Jason completely believed Kevin. They all labeled Ramses a snake and traitor.
Meanwhile, the opposite side knew that Ramses didn’t vote with them. Therefore, they also called him a snake and traitor. Besides Cody and Jessica, Ramses is in the next worst position of the Big Brother 19 house.
Everyone knows Josh voted against Jillian. He made it worse by trying to defend his actions to Jessica, Cody, and Alex. None of them wanted anything to do with him, but Jessica and Cody took it a step too far by calling him a baby, not a man, a ‘victim noises’ maker. Just a lot of low blows.
Eventually, Josh ended up in the bathroom in tears. Dominique Cooper proceeded to comfort him. Josh continued to cry but felt better about his choice to pick Paul’s side.
Paul told Matthew and Raven Walton that he wanted to nominate them as pawns. This made it a lot easier to backdoor Cody. Matthew and Raven seemed on board with the plan, until a conversation later in the Head of Household room.
Mark, Elena Davies, Christmas, Matthew, and Raven made him rethink his plan. They felt it was too risky. However, Paul questioned whether they’d really vote out Cody, so he was stubborn about his decision.
However, the alliance persisted: they wanted him to nominate Alex and Jason as pawns. He started to see the light, and then spoke to Kevin, Alex, and Josh about possibly going up as pawns.
Kevin got really upset about this possibility, so he told the outsiders (including Jessica) about Paul’s plan to backdoor Cody, which Cody already suspected. Eventually Paul settled on using Josh and Alex as pawns. Both of them agreed with reluctance. This decision might come back to haunt Paul because he had already promised Josh that he would not use him as a pawn this week.
The nomination ceremony takes place later today. We shall see if Paul has another change of heart.

At this point, no one trusts Phaedra Parks at all. She had the most disgraceful exit in Real Housewives history after she got called out on her heinous lies during the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion. Now she’s just glossing over the fact that she lied about Kandi Burruss wanting to rape Porsha Williams as if it’s no big deal.
No matter how many Bible verses and inspirational quotes Phaedra posts on social media, pretty much no one is going to look past Phaedra’s shadiness. So I have no idea why she thinks she is fit to be a politician. Political jokes aside, who in their right mind is going to trust Phaedra enough to vote for her to take on any sort of position? Nevertheless, Phaedra is delusional enough to think that she has politics in her future.

According to an article from Essence, Phaedra declared, “I love politics!” So do a lot of people, but that doesn’t mean they should all run for public office. Phaedra doesn’t even have the Real Housewives fandom behind her, so I have no idea who she thinks is going to support her.
She even had the nerve to say, “People want a new voice and I can lend my voice to that.” Really? Who are these people that want Phaedra to be their voice? Phaedra having a better chance at winning a political position than being a reality TV cast member is the most insane notion I’ve heard in a while.

As per usual, the Southern Charm fandom was not feeling Landon Clements this season. From her penchant to flirt with anything that has a pulse to her incessant giggling at unfunny moments, (most of) the viewers were not picking up what she was laying down. So of course, she decided to make up with Kathryn Dennis to save some face at the last minute for peace and harmony.
It’s too little too late, but apparently Landon didn’t have as rough of a time at the reunion taping as most fans suspected. That does make some sense though, since Andy Cohen has much bigger fish to fry with the real stars of this show: Kathryn and Thomas Ravenel.
Landon told Bravo’s The Daily Dish, “This reunion was much better than the last one.” Let’s just hope that “better” doesn’t translate to “boring.”

Landon went on to add, “The last one was a little scary, but this one was I think everyone’s really growing up and is articulating their thoughts and opinions and able to at least sort of sit down to the mediation table.”
Of course Landon had to bring up Kathryn: “I mean obviously Kathryn, she’s going through a lot right now.” When is Kathryn not going through a lot? She and Thomas are always in the thick of drama. So that’s really not surprising. Landon is obviously trying to repair her image added that Kathryn handled it “graciously,” adding, “It is an uphill battle for her and I just wish her the best.”
Sure you do, Landon.
Landon also teased, “There might be some things that aren’t fully finished.” Well that’s what Season 5 is for.

Big Brother 19 started with a bang last week, and has not let fans down in the least during it’s second week. Tonight’s eviction came as a complete and total shock to the evicted houseguest (HG), who admitted this was not the outcome that she expected in the Big Brother 19 house. Then again, this is Big Brother and no one should expect the expected.
When Paul Abrahamian presented the house with his Pendant of Protection, Cody Nickson, AKA the Sniper, had his Power of Veto (POV) replacement nominee plans fall apart right before his very eyes. The Pendant granted Paul 3 weeks of safety from eviction. Therefore spoiling Cody’s plans to backdoor Paul in week 2 of Big Brother 19. With his back against the wall, Cody nominated one of his own teammates to the block, Christmas Abbott, and created instant mayhem in the Big Brother 19 house.
After Cody’s replacement nominations, the Big Brother 19 houseguests reacted with feelings of complete chaos, including his own allies. Cody had not shared with anyone, including his own showmance partner Jessica Graf, that he had planned to backdoor Paul. Once the cat was out of the bag, Cody’s trust quickly dissipated throughout the house. Many felt as though Cody had gone “rogue” and impacted their games unbeknownst to them. Typically moves like this are a one-way ticket to quickly meet Julie Chen.
Paul was quite surprised that Cody had tried to backdoor him this week. He informed the houseguests that he now knew whom he could and could not trust in the Big Brother house. In addition, Paul intended to play the victim for as long as he could, to continue to stir the “chaos” pot in the house, and most importantly, sit back and watch as havoc unfolded. Cody definitely is on everyone’s short list for eviction after this “rogue” move backfired.
Once the Big Brother 19 house settled down for a bit and the dust settled, Christmas was bound and determined not to let all of the chaos deter her morning dance with Jason Dent. The 2 went to the backyard to partake in their morning ritual. Unfortunately, Jason slipped sending Christmas to the ground in pain.
After a trip to the Emergency room, fearing her foot was broken, Christmas suffered from torn ligaments in her left foot. She came back to the Big Brother house on crutches with a cast on her leg. Deciding to play through the pain, Christmas is still a Big Brother 19 houseguest. Either Christmas or Jillian Parker will be the second HG evicted from the Big Brother house.
Julie Chen announced that it was time for the live vote and eviction:
By a vote of 8-4, Jillian was evicted from the Big Brother 19 house. Jillian was completely floored that she was evicted from the Big Brother 19 house, as she had been told by the HG’s that there would be a tie vote. With a tie vote for eviction, the Head of Household (HOH) breaks the tie by casting a vote for eviction. Jillian was told by Cody that he intended to vote out Christmas, which left Jillian in the Big Brother house. As always with Big Brother…Expect the Unexpected.
Big Brother 19 has been unexpected and has certainly not disappointed thus far.

Right now Paul Abrahamian is way ahead in the Cody Nickson versus him battle on Big Brother 19. Not only did Cody fire and miss at Paul during the third Big Brother renom ceremony, but then Paul stole all of Cody’s allies away, including his most trusted one, Mark Jansen. This forced Cody to make a new team.
Cody’s new team (which are very loosely alligned–they have no real loyaty towards him) wasn’t strong enough to take out one of Paul’s allies Christmas Abbott. This put Paul way ahead in numbers and power. Cody’s Big Brother 19 game almost already seems over.
So tonight’s Head of Household competition basically came down to whose side would possess the power this week. So who wonn the second Big Brother 19 Head of Household competition? Read below to find out MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD. PROCEED WITH CAUTION

The comp that they played for this week’s Head of Household competition was all about Candy Crush. CBS decided to do some early cross promotions this year with this theme. It was a very similar competition to the one Paul hosted on Big Brother Over the Top.
Houseguests needed to look through an assortment of candy colored balls for tickets. They then could exchange those tickets for balls, or give their tickets to someone else. Once a player exchanged his or her tickets for balls, they had to make as many attempts as they had balls to throw.
The player to get the ball in the hole first became this week’s Head of Household. They player was….Paul Abrahamian!!!!

The Big Brother 19 night 1 eviction came down to Jillian Parker, Christmas Abbott, and Cameron Heard. The votes were very low for Christmas (with only two votes) and Jillian (with only three votes), so Cameron got the majority with eight votes. It was one of the first three way vote split in Big Brother history, which set Big Brother 19 up for an unpredictable voting pattern.
Tonight continued that pattern with a split vote between Jillian and Christmas. Head of Household Cody Nickson set the stage for an unpredictable week in general when he nominated Paul Abrahamian, who has three weeks of safety, and Christmas as Paul’s replacement. This went against his original alliance. It also blindsided the entire house because none of them had a clue about Cody’s plan.
The votes during tonight’s Big Brother 19 first live eviction came down to whose side do you want to support in this battle: Cody’s side (which meant you voted out Christmas) or Paul’s side (which meant you voted out Jillian). All week, the votes changed by the hour. In the end, it came down to what Josh Martinez would do with his vote.
He could either tie it all up by voting Christmas out, which would lead to a 6 to 6 vote. This outcome gave Cody the deciding vote. He would vote out Christmas in the result of a tie. If Josh decided to vote out Jillian, it would be a 7 to 5 vote annd Jillian would leave.
So what did Josh do? And did everyone on Big Brother 19 stick with their side of the battle field? MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD. PROCEED WITH CAUTION

The Walking Dead sent shockwaves through its fandom when it killed off Steven Yeun's Glenn. Yeun had been with the series since its start and his character met a gruesome end at the hands of...Ashley Darby sure changed tactics this season on The Real Housewives Of Potomac, inserting herself as resident production puppet sh*t stirrer extraordinaire! Now, Ashley says she’s in a “transitional phase” in her life since filming wrapped, but still has some choice words for her cast mates – especially the Grand Dame of Somewhere, Karen Huger.
In her blog, Ashley explains why she ended up attending Karen’s “exotic” anniversary party after almost not being invited (and all but begging to be): “I would have had a serious case of fomo (fear of missing out) if everyone else got to see Karen’s new digs and I didn’t. Even still there were dangling question marks just waiting for answers.”
Despite Karen’s insults, Ashley seemed more than happy to attend the soiree – side eyeing Karen’s new, empty, suspicious digs along with the rest of the ladies. She comments, “I would have been more than happy to share in Karen’s joy of her new home if she were actually honest about the questionable circumstances. When she lashed out and called me an idiot, it was further proved that there’s more to this unexpected move than a few Benjamins.”
As for her own questionable circumstances – namely her restaurant, “Oz,” that she shares with hubby Michael – Ashley claims things are looking up. Maybe. Kind of.
Ashley gushes, “Oz has really improved! It was quite a challenge opening my (Michael’s resume is quite impressive) first business in front of America. Hiccups, as well as trial and error, are natural progressions with any new business. While we are constantly a work in progress, I am happy to say that we have made great improvements.”

These improvements include brunch buffets and happy hours, which are now apparently revolutionary concepts in the restaurant biz! Ashley says, “Overall we are on the up and up with no end in sight.”
The real question on everyone’s minds during RHOP’s finale centered on the mystery of Karen Huger, though – and just why, how, and when she moved to Great Falls…??? Ashley explains her reaction to the house itself, which was enormous and furniture-free. “Karen’s house was, as she put it, ‘not my taste,’ but hey I don’t have to live in it. Even with the glitz and glamour of the party, the house is too big and in desperate need of a makeover. The only thing I could think of for Karen moving to this house is her desire to have a better kitchen. I think she was tired of hoping that linoleum flooring will make a comeback.”
Despite their questions, Ashley says everyone had fun at the party, albeit thoroughly grossed out by Karen and Ray‘s super uncomfortable public kissing spectacle. She snarks, “I think we can all agree that this was a major step up from Karen’s other events. I actually enjoyed the belly dancers and the food was bomb! I could’ve done without the kiss, though – the visual of Ray inhaling Karen’s face will forever be etched in my mind.”
Well, we’ll just have to wait for next week’s reunion to see how the group reacted to all of the behind the scenes shade throwing done this season, much of which came directly from Ashley, herself.
Ashley concludes in her blog that she’s in “a very transitional phase of my life right now. Oz is in a better place, thankfully, and I’m pursuing my love of fitness, yoga and meditation. Personally, things are still up in the air as Michael and I figure out if and how we can conjoin our two lives even though we are at different phases. So I’m just going to keep working hard, smiling big, and trying to stay happy!”
