Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 9 Recap: This is Not the Brat Summer I Thought We Were Headed For

Welcome to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 9 recap. Last week, Bronwyn and Todd hosted a couples’ weekend in Palm Springs, but Todd said he wouldn’t tolerate any bullsh*t. Bronwyn was hurt that Meredith and Lisa took Heather’s side in their fight without listening to Bronwyn’s account of what happened. When Lisa decided to call Heather while they were in the hot tub, a fight ensued. Todd told John that either Lisa had to stop the fighting or they would have to leave. Keep reading to see exactly what went down in the RHOSLC Season 5, Episode 9: “Revenge is Best Served in Coach.”

What happened on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 9?

RHOSLC title card

In this week’s Super Sized episode, more arguing makes lunch very uncomfortable, until Seth breaks the ice with an asparagus joke. Things get heated at Todd and Bronwyn’s anniversary party, but the night ends well. Angie asks about Bronwyn’s daughter Gwen “reconnecting with her grandparents” and gets shot down immediately. The couple enjoy a day at the Thermal IndyCar Race Track before flying commercial back to Salt Lake City, and Lisa has a tantrum about having to fly coach. Here are some of the highlights from RHOSLC Season 5, Episode 9.

More fighting over lunch in Thermal/Palm Springs

As they sit down for lunch, Bronwyn interviews, “There’s just nothing else we can do next after a contentious morning than just sit down and break bread together. Bon Appétit!”

Things are definitely tense. Suddenly Lisa decides to speak up. Wait, what happened to sitting down one-on-one?

“We didn’t get to finish our conversation,” she starts. But Lisa can’t stick to the subject at hand and drags Whitney into it.

“I could have sworn I was about to get an apology from Lisa,” Bronwyn says in a confessional. “I still want that apology, but it takes Lisa so long to get to an apology that by the time we almost get there, someone else is mad at her about something totally different.”

Todd’s had enough of the bickering and tells Bronwyn he’ll be in the other room. But his wife urges him to stay.

Meanwhile, John thinks Lisa is being persecuted unfairly. “Whose turn is it next to yell at Lisa?” The man must love her because he can’t see how crazy she is.

After John steps in and seemingly settles the fight between his wife and Whitney, Bronwyn confesses, “All we needed was the men to come and solve our silly little women’s problems. The end!”

A voiceover announces, “Next time on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.” Just kidding!

As everyone’s starting to settle down, Shawn says, “Did you call my wife a f*cking bitch?” And we’re off again.

Suddenly, Seth asks, “How many people here, when you eat asparagus, can smell it in your urine?” And just like that, the tension is broken.

Todd and Bronwyn’s Excellent 10th Anniversary Party on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

“I would go to the opening of a can of tuna fish,” Bronwyn proudly proclaims. Girl loves herself a party, and she’s certainly going to throw a big one for her and Todd’s 10th wedding anniversary. “This is a big deal!”

Looks like Todd sprung for the $4 million diamond necklace after all. The caption says, “Bronwyn’s anniversary present,” as he fastens it around her neck. Wow. It’s gorgeous, but what I could do with even a fraction of that amount?

So this is an actual party. Other people are invited, and there’s a mariachi band. I love me some mariachis and margaritas!

During dinner, Angie brings out whiteboards and Sharpies. Apparently, in honor of Todd and Bronwyn’s anniversary, they’re going to play The Newlywed Game. Do we have to? This is so overdone.

When the question is, “Who apologizes first?” Seth’s answer is, “Sorry, good morning.” Meredith laughs, “He’s got more to apologize for.” There’s obviously some tension in that marriage.

Next question is, “What’s your favorite sexual position?” I would be tempted to answer, “None of your f*cking business,” but I wouldn’t be playing this stupid game in the first place.

Next question, “Who is your wife’s least favorite person at this table?” Now I see how Angie got that center snowflake. This is not going to cause trouble at all. Angie’s got her own spoon, apparently.

Are we all just “beating a dead horse?”

The conversation shifts. Lisa still thinks Justin owes her an apology, but Lisa says she was just “frustrated” with Justin because what he was saying was a lie. Oh, we’re back to this now. Can’t we just play nice at the dinner table?

“I am so over this argument about who started the Alibaba rumor,” Bronwyn says in a confessional. Bronwyn says she’s almost to the point where she wants to confess that it was her just so they can move on. In fact, she jokes that she might use Todd’s phone later to start a new Twitter rumor so they can finally “talk about something else.”

Justin finally acknowledges that his reaction to Lisa calling his wife a liar was probably stronger than he meant it to be, and he apologizes. In return, Lisa apologizes for putting him in that position. Yay! Are we done now?

In the spirit of bringing up things we all thought were settled, Meredith tells Shawn that her feelings were still hurt that he never apologized for commenting on her son Brooks. Shawn thought they were good, and in fact, doesn’t even remember saying anything about her son. But Seth pulls up a headline on his phone that says, “Shawn Trujillo Accuses Meredith Marks of Using Her Son Brooks After Gay Rumors.” Look at Seth with his good taste in entertainment websites.

“Proof, biotch!” Seth yells triumphantly. What happened to the men staying out of the women’s business?

“A headline from a random blog proves nothing,” Angie says in a confessional. Hey, Reality Tea is not some “random blog.” Puhleeze. Show some respect, Angie!

At last Shawn says, “If I said anything demeaning against Brooks, I’ll certainly apologize, but I haven’t done that.”

Finally, Meredith realizes she’s “beating a dead horse,” and she’s moving on.

Angie unknowingly steps into a minefield on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

Attempting to change the subject, Angie brings up what she thinks is a happier topic and asks about Bronwyn’s daughter Gwen “reconnecting with her grandparents.”

“No, Gwen is not reconnecting with her grandparents,” Todd says sternly. “We are not going there … That’s worse than what you’ve just been through.”

“It was a surprise when that came up with Lisa and I,” Bronwyn explains. “Not all surprises are happy in the moment.”

Todd acknowledges that Lisa’s intentions were good. “Lisa didn’t mean to step on a minefield,” Bronwyn adds. “I’m the one who showed her the picture. It was an accident.”

“This is over,” Todd says. “It’s not a minefield. It’s not even a field we’re walking into. This is not gonna happen. This is over.” Todd is very protective of Bronwyn’s daughter. He’s helped raise her for the past 10 years, so he doesn’t want to see her hurt.

“It’s done,” he announces. Subject over. How was that minefield, Angie?

In a confessional, Todd sums up: “It’s a personal issue for Gwen and Bronwyn … It’s no one’s business to discuss at a dinner table.” I totally understand his feelings on the matter.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City are off to the races at the Thermal Club IndyCar Race Track

Apparently, the rest of the night went well. There was a drone show with hearts in the sky (does anybody else get the feeling that Todd is stinking rich?), they played pool, and the ladies all sat in the hot tub without screaming at each other.

“Waking up this morning,” says Whitney, “aside from a slight hangover, I think we’re all in a better place.”

And they’re off to the races. Literally. Their destination is the Thermal Club IndyCar Race Track. It’s very exclusive (I Googled it).

“Bringing the girls to a race would be one thing,” Bronwyn explains. “But this is super VVIP … Indy is important to Todd and I in that it was one of our first dates.” Todd is very close friends with retired Indy driver Davey Hamilton. Bronwyn contacted him and had him create an exciting experience for the group.

They get to meet Indy 500 Winner Josef “Ken” Newgarden, who’s racing today. He’s very cute. Seth asks “for a friend” if he’s single, but he is not. “Sorry, Heather,” he says.

They also get to visit the pit, where all the cars are serviced during the race, before retiring to their private suite to watch the race.

Bronwyn asks Lisa, “When you’re done taking selfies, can we chat?” Bronwyn wants to finish “whatever happened” yesterday.

But the racetrack is not the best place to have a heart-to-heart. It’s very, very noisy. Finally, Bronwyn gives up trying to talk above the engines, and they agree to pick it up back at the house.

Bronwyn and Lisa finally talk without resolving anything

Bronwyn and Lisa dip their feet in the pool. “I think me being friends with your friends has changed things between us,” Bronwyn tells Lisa. “And I don’t totally know why?”

“I felt like Heather was upset,” Lisa explains.

“I don’t know what Heather did when she left,” Bronwyn says. “But I sat in my house in tears. I know you’re saying that Heather was … explaining her side, but Heather also dropped some bombs in there, like, I’m two-faced, and I’m conniving, and I’m mean, and that’s nasty, Lisa.”

“Lisa’s unwillingness to [defend me] tells me that she feels a way about me that I didn’t know she felt,” she adds in a confessional.

“I felt like I was in a hard place,” Lisa says. She didn’t like being in between her two friends.

Bronwyn feels like Lisa’s more concerned about Heather’s feelings than hers. “I don’t need you to be worried about my feelings,” she says. “But I was crying that day, and I’m on the verge of tears right now … Do you think it’s fair for her to say I’m terrifying?”

Realizing who she’s talking to, Bronwyn says, “I’m gonna put the bar all the way on the floor so you can trip over it. Is your experience of me that I am two-faced?”

Rather than just answering the question, Lisa repeats it back to her, which infuriates Bronwyn.

But in a confessional, Lisa admits, “It’s hard for me to answer this question because I do think [Bronwyn is] two-faced sometimes. I don’t feel like I can trust [her] 100%.”

Finally, Lisa admits to feeling bad that Heather left Bronwyn in tears. She agrees that there’s a huge misunderstanding between them.

Bronwyn just needs a little more balance. She needs her friend to support her.

Is anyone surprised that Lisa Barlow is too good to fly coach?

I guess they’re not taking the private jet back to Salt Lake City, cause Bronwyn’s booked them all on a commercial flight. As everyone’s checking their seats, Lisa has a mini meltdown.

“I don’t carry Coach, and I don’t fly coach,” she says. “No one wants to be the last one to get off the plane.” It’s no wonder Lisa’s friends all seem to turn on her when she acts like this.

She tells Angie that she needs to get to the airport so she can “fix” her ticket. Lisa needs an upgrade, stat!

“It’s a small plane,” Angie tells her. “You’re never going to get first class in this plane.”

Bronwyn explains there are only four seats in first class, so she puts herself and Todd in first class and the rest of them next to their husbands in the best seats available. She’s paying for everything, after all. Pay for your own PJ if you’re not happy, Lisa.

“Lisa losing her mind about a 47-minute flight in coach is not the brat summer I had hoped we were headed toward,” Bronwyn interviews. I had to Google #bratsummer. I had never heard that expression before. I’m officially old.

“I have already gotten Lisa a private plane,” she adds. “I have gotten her a gift; I have gotten John a gift; I have gotten them a rental house. She can sit in coach for 47 minutes. She’s gonna be fine.”

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Erika Jayne Gives Dating Life Update: ‘I’m Very to the Point, and Men Don’t Like That’

Erika Jayne RHOBH

I think we can all agree that dating can be frustrating. But dating as reality TV star Erika Jayne takes it to the next level.

The controversial Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmate split from her disgraced husband Tom Girardi four years ago. Since then, she’s openly admitted that she’s had her fun. That doesn’t mean she’s off the market.

Erika recently explained why she’s raised her standards and stayed single.

Erika Jayne is doing fine on her own

On a recent episode of Two T’s in a Pod, the How Many F–ks singer shared that she’s not even on the celebrity dating app Raya. “I probably should be on there, but I’m not,” Erika said. “Does anyone know how to get me on? I have no [idea].”

Erika noted she could benefit from the dating app because of her approach when talking to men out in the wild. “I’m very direct, I’m very to the point, and men don’t like that,” she explained.

Even so, the 53-year-old bombshell has a good reason for wanting to meet someone in person. “I never look at men and find them attractive,” she told host Teddi Mellencamp. “I always say this. I’m never looking at the way someone looks, necessarily. I’m always looking at the feeling I get from them.”

During an August appearance on the pod, Erika declared she is “never going back” to dating again. She also revealed that marriage is off the table for now. “I don’t feel that that’s where I’m at,” Erika stated.

She continued, “I have a lot of work to do and I really just want to be successful on my own. I have, for my first time, my own thing. For real, for real. And being a grown-up, you know? Like this isn’t being 20 being married to your husband, and having a child. This is Erika out on her own, doing it, and it feels good.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 premieres on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Survivor 47: Who Could Win and Who Has No Shot

Survivor 47
Photo Credit: Robert Voets/CBS via Getty Images

Survivor 47 is heating up with only 10 castaways left in the game. Now that the merge phase has begun, the competition is really on. Everyone is out for themselves and tribe loyalty is a thing of the past.

We’re getting down to the wire, so let’s take a look at the players left in the game and decipher who could win it all.

Here are the players I think have the best (and worst) shot at winning Survivor 47…

Genevieve – Could win Survivor 47

At this point in the game, Genevieve Mushaluk is my winner’s pick. I’m impressed with her gameplay so far. She flew under the radar at first, allowing bigger personalities in the Lavo tribe to do her bidding. Her alliance with Rome Cooney kept her safe. She had Lavo’s most unpredictable player in her back pocket and used him to do her dirty work.

Unlike him, she didn’t isolate any members of her tribe. Everyone trusted her and wanted to work with her, which is not an easy feat. She played it safe at first but when the opportunity to take out a major social threat presented itself, she took it. Kishan Patel would still be in the game if not for Genevieve. She looked at the tribe dynamics and realized getting rid of Rome wasn’t in her best interest. From there, she flipped the vote and orchestrated Kishan’s blindside. Genius.

Once the tribes disbanded, Genevieve was determined to make the Merge. She found an advantage that gave her a leg up in the first challenge and gave her access to the Merge feast. In the second Immunity Challenge, she (along with Teeny) won safety for her team, protecting them from Tribal Council.

One of Genevieve’s most impressive qualities is her adaptability. She protected Rome when it was advantageous for her but when he became too much of a liability, she cut him loose. She replaced him with Andy Rueda, who like Rome, was looking for someone to trust.

She’s made some big moves but has also managed her threat level. She doesn’t seem to be on anyone’s radar. I would be more than happy with a Genevieve win.

Kyle – No chance at winning Survivor 47

I like Kyle Ostwald but I don’t see a win in his future. He’s won Individual Immunity two weeks in a row, which will raise a few eyebrows. He’s proven to be a physical threat and that kind of player usually doesn’t do so hot once the Merge arrives. Now that it’s an individual game, there’s no reason to keep a player like him around.

To make matters worse, he lost his number-one ally last week. Tiyana Hallums’ shocking elimination put Kyle in grave danger. If Tuku needs to offer a sacrificial lamb, it will be Kyle’s head on a stick. There is no way Caroline Vidmar, Sue Smey, and Gabe Ortis are turning on each other.

I don’t see a clear path to the end for him unless he puts in some serious work. He’s a great player, so I hope he’s up for the task but we’ll have to see.

Andy Rueda – (Surprisingly) could win Survivor 47

Andy’s game has been insane. He had a public meltdown at the first challenge, left his Shot in the Dark lying around in plain sight, and walked away from an Immunity Idol for no reason. I know, I know, but Survivor loves an underdog. It is a miracle Andy is still there and that has to count for something, right?

He’s not playing a brilliant game but he’s also not a total idiot. He knows he’s at the bottom and he’s taking steps to change his trajectory in the game. He’s formed alliances with Genevieve, Sam Phalen, and Sierra Wright, who all have a vested interest in protecting him.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Andy is still in the game come finale night.

Sue Smey – no chance at winning Survivor 47

It pains me to say Sue has no chance at winning but I just don’t see it. She hasn’t played a bad game by any means. She’s done quite well in challenges and even found an Immunity Idol. However, her relationship with Gabe will be the death of her. Her loyalty to him is perplexing. She won’t even entertain flipping on him. If she goes to the end with him, he will take credit for every move she made and she’ll walk away without a single jury vote. If she wants a shot at the million, she needs to send him off to Ponderosa.

I wish I had more confidence in her but I haven’t been impressed so far. She acts annoyed when players want to talk strategy, which infuriates me. THIS IS SURVIVOR!!!

Teeny – Could win Survivor 47

It’s easy to root for Teeny Chirichillo. She’s played a great social game and last week, she won safety for her entire team, which is sure to earn her some brownie points.

She’s a superfan, so I feel confident she won’t stray away from big moves but unlike some players, (cough, cough Rome), I trust she will be able to play the game without becoming enemy number one. I think she’s someone people would be excited to vote for in the end. Survivor can be a bit of a popularity contest and Teeny is the people’s princess. I would be satisfied with a Teeny win.

Survivor 47, Episode 9 Recap: Nightmare Fuel

Jeff Probst Survivor
Photo Credit: Robert Voets/CBS via Getty Images

Tonight’s episode of Survivor was jam-packed with drama. Promises were broken, plans changed, and one player orchestrated her third blindside of the season.

Last week, the Gata tribe lost Sierra thanks to Genevieve’s master plan. This week, another player fell victim to ringmaster Genevieve

If you missed tonight’s episode, don’t worry, we have you covered.

Here is everything that happened on Survivor 47, Episode 9.

What happened on Survivor 47, Episode 9?

The castaways once again competed for power in tonight’s episode. Gabe won his first Individual Immunity Challenge, while Caroline lost her vote. Back at camp, the castaways talked targets. There were about 4 different names thrown out but in the end, the group settled on Sol, who became the 9th person to leave the Island.

Keep reading for a more detailed recap of tonight’s episode.

Sam and Rachel regroup after losing Sierra

Episode 9 began with a conversation between Gata members Sam and Rachel, who just lost their ally Sierra in a shocking blindside. Sam is upset about the vote and says he and Rachel cannot trust anyone.

I understand Sam’s feelings at this moment, but I think he will come to realize Sierra’s elimination may have improved his chances in the game. His threat level has decreased now that the “Gata duo” is no more.

Her elimination gives him space to make new relationships and strengthen fractured ones. You can argue he lost two allies in that elimination because Andy flipped on him, but I don’t think that relationship is entirely lost. Sam should blame Sierra for sidelining Andy and forge a new path with his scorned ally. Sierra’s absence may also strengthen his relationship with Rachel, who previously Sam always treated like a second fiddle to his number one.

Rachel explains her Shot In the Dark move

After Sam is done talking about how the Lavo Liars will feel his wrath for taking out Sierra, we finally learn why Rachel used her Shot In the Dark.

In a confessional, she explains she had a bad feeling during Tribal Council but wasn’t sure if she was the target. She decided to use her Shot In the Dark to see how the castaways would react. She suspected she was safe because of their calm demeanor when she played it, so she decided to hold onto her Immunity Idol.

This is a brilliant strategy and has strengthened my already fond feelings about Rachel’s gameplay. She’s proving to be quite a strategic player. Unfortunately, she’s not skating by undetected. Caroline and Genevieve have clocked how intelligent she is and tried to make her the target last week. Her relationships with Sol and Teeny saved her, but who knows what will happen if she’s vulnerable this week…

Rachel and Andy form a new alliance

Andy goes on a damage-control tour after blindsiding his former tribe members. He tries to smooth things over with Sam, who doesn’t seem ready to talk game with him quite yet. His conversation with Rachel goes better. She knows it’s better to have Andy as a friend than an enemy. They decide to work together in the game.

She asks Andy who he is worried about and he says Kyle because he’s won so many challenges. Rachel agrees and says Caroline and Sue would be down to assist them in getting him out if he ever loses a challenge.

Kyle isn’t the only Tuku member in trouble this week. Sam has a conversation with Lavo, who suggests they take out Gabe this week. They think he’s a sneaky player and would prefer to take him out sooner rather than later. As a Kyle stan, I’m so relieved to hear this plan. I found myself nodding at the TV screen. Yes, go for Gabe!

Who won the Survivor 47, Episode 9 Immunity Challenge?

Tonight the castaways competed in pairs. The first two pairs to fall lost their vote and the final two pairs won a food reward. Once only two pairs were remaining, the challenge transformed into an Individual Immunity Challenge where only one castaway would be granted safety. In the end, Gabe won out against comp beast Kyle. Teeny, Sol, and Kyle joined Gabe for a Survivor feast, while Sam, Andy, Caroline, and Rachel went on a journey in hopes of getting their lost vote back.

The four players who lost their vote competed in a challenge to regain their power. Sam, Andy, and Rachel won their vote back, while Caroline remained voteless.

Who went home on Survivor 47, Episode 9?

Back at camp, the castaways were scrambling to come up with a name. Most of the group wanted Sam to be the vote but Genevieve had a different idea. She pitched flipping on her fellow Lavo member Sol. I love her so much. She brought in Tuku, who agreed to vote with her. She made the mistake of telling Rachel, who told the plan to Sam. He promised not to tell anyone but, of course, he ran to Sol and told him everything. The two tried to flip the vote on a Tuku member last minute but they were unsuccessful.

At Tribal, Sol was the 9th person voted out of Survivor 47.

Survivor airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.

Brittany Cartwright Reflects on Filing for Divorce From Jax Taylor and What Surprised Her

Brittany Cartwright’s mind is abuzz after filing for divorce from Jax Taylor. And yet, her mind wasn’t entirely where she thought it would be when making the final judgment.

Nevertheless, she is happy for herself and we’re happy for her. Catching Jax with other women was a dealbreaker unto itself, and that wasn’t his only problem. Jax took a brief stay at a rehab clinic, but Brittany said even that didn’t help. Regardless, by that point, she’d made up her mind.

Brittany has reflected publicly on the situation again ahead of The Valley Season 2. These public reflections had Jax posting on his IG Story about “having a rough time.” But no matter the river he cries himself, Brittany certainly won’t be shedding any tears.

Brittany Cartwright felt relief from her divorce filing: “This is done”

Brittany recently appeared on Bravo’s Hot Mic Podcast. During her interview, she discussed the things that surprised her about the upcoming season of The Valley. “In my own life,” she said, “me actually going through and filing was kind of, like, a surprise. Cos I wasn’t sure when I was gonna do it, how I was gonna do it, if I was gonna do it.”

By Brittany’s own admission, she didn’t quite feel as expected when actually filing. “I felt relieved,” she explained. “And, like, I wasn’t in there crying my eyes out like I thought I would, and it just kind of made me realize, like, yeah, this is done. This is done.”

Reportedly, at the time of filing, Brittany gave herself certain reassurances. She told herself: “I have to do this now before I back out – before he gets out of the mental health facility and pulls me back in. I have to do it now while I’m feeling strong, while I’m so angry. I’ve just gotta get it done.” So, Brittany pulled the trigger and didn’t look back, not a single tear in her eye.

The Valley is streaming on Peacock.

America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Season 2 Confirmed at Netflix

America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders

We’re doing cartwheels and blasting Thunderstruck over this news! Netflix just announced that America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders has been greenlit for Season 2! We’re about to get an even closer look into the iconic cheerleading squad and all of the insane drama that goes into making the cut.

Netflix announced the news about Season 2 in a teaser showing a few of the squad members hitting some choreography before laying out their pom-poms in the shape of the number two. Check out the announcement below.

Cheering for Season 2

Season 2 will follow the NFL Dallas Cowboys cheerleading squad all the way through the 2024-25 season. Just like last season, the drama kicks off at the high-stakes audition, where the ladies have to prove that they have what it takes to don those iconic white cowgirl boots.

The news of America’s Sweetheart’s renewal comes amid a shakeup in the unscripted side of Netflix’s business. Two top executives recently exited the company, and they brought in former NBCUniversal boss Jeff Gaspin. In an interview earlier this year, he teased that there would be some changes in their approach to reality TV.

“The difference from the past is we want to focus on bigger formats, more of what you would call broadcast-style shows versus the cable-style shows. I’ve done both in my career from running NBC to running Bravo, so I’m familiar with both and I really do understand the difference,” he revealed in an interview with Deadline.

With that in mind, we’re left questioning the fate of shows like Selling Sunset or Too Hot to Handle. America’s Sweethearts, however, seems to be an exception. Netflix considers this show a “docuseries,” and the platform has an ongoing relationship with the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to America’s Sweethearts, they’re working on a separate docuseries exploring the history of the Cowboys organization. Plus, the upcoming Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson boxing match is set to take place later this month at the AT&T Stadium, the home of the Cowboys.

Season 1 of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is streaming on Netflix. Stay tuned for updates on Season 2.

Big Brother UK Fans Furious as Latest Twist Could Evict Fan Favorite Housemate

Big Brother twist UK

Big Brother fans in the UK are furious. This week, the show introduced a twist in its final week which could not only steal money away from the prize pot, but see a fan favorite housemate evicted, whether or not they’re at the bottom of the public vote.

In the UK, Big Brother works very differently to the US. Evictions take place on a weekly basis, and usually, the public decides who to evict in a public vote. Now in its final week, the British public are voting for their favorite housemate to win. But a shock twist means that one housemate has the opportunity to put three of their fellow housemates in danger. The person receiving the lowest votes out of those three will be evicted in ninth place.

This means that, hypothetically, the three housemates with the most votes to win from the public could be put in jeopardy. The housemate who would finish third if the vote between all nine housemates was held today, could then go home in ninth place.

Big Brother’s latest twist hasn’t made anyone happy

Speaking to the house, Big Brother explained: “Housemates, congratulations on making it to the final week … Housemates, the final and the prize money is nearly within reach and for one of you today, that cash will be even closer. That’s because, Big Brother is about to open a very special room in the house. The Vault. Here the prize money can be played for, and game changing decisions will be made.

“One of you is about to be given the chance to win up to £10k. Which one of you that is, will be left up to fate. Will one housemate go and collect the golden envelopes from the hatch and place them on the table.”

An early press release has revealed that Segun – who is near or at the bottom of numerous polls for favorite to win across social media – claimed the golden envelope. This afforded him the opportunity to steal cash, and place other housemates in danger.

“The fact that they didn’t tell us this on Friday when they opened the vote, and waited until it was closed on Sunday before revealing it, tells me they knew it was controversial and get a reaction,” one fan posted on X, formerly Twitter.

“Genuinely the worst production decision this show has ever made,” another said. Others suggested that complaints should be made to OFCOM, the regulatory and competition authority for British broadcasting.

Whether or not that will gain any traction remains to be seen. For now, exactly who will go home will be revealed in tonight’s (November 11, 2024) show.

Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX in the UK.

Love Is Blind Showrunner Unhappy Fights Weren’t Filmed: ‘Detriment’ to the Couples

Love Is Blind Season 6

The Love Is Blind showrunner, Chris Coelen, has some strong feelings about the state of his show. His frustrations aren’t related to the multiple allegations of behind-the-scenes mistreatment. It also has nothing to do with all of the backlash some of Season 7’s cast members have received. Instead, Chris recently explained why he wanted to see more on-camera fights.

If it’s not on camera, did it really happen?

In Season 7 of Love Is Blind, there were a handful of disagreements between the couples that happened off-camera, causing everyone at home to feel left out of the loop. When it was time for the reunion, we had a full list of unanswered questions.

For example, Alexandra Byrd and Tim Godbee broke up on camera during an argument that seemed like it was about napping. It was odd, and it seemed like it came out of nowhere. What we didn’t see was a handful of off-camera quarrels leading up to that moment.

We’re thirsty for drama, so this is obviously bad for the viewer. However, the show’s creator explained why this off-camera drama isn’t good for anyone involved. In an interview with Salon, he made the case that it’s a “detriment” for couples to withhold their truth.

He explained, “It just creates a negativity. And the people who are much more open about, ‘Hey, I’ve got an issue, “Hey, I’m feeling a certain way’ . . . ultimately, whether they work out or not, benefit from that.”

With that said, Chris noted that there are sometimes moments when the cameras just aren’t rolling. The show doesn’t film 24/7, so he said they rely on the cast members to be honest about what’s happening in their relationships. That doesn’t always happen.

“We just want to know what’s the truth, what’s happening,” Chris explained. “And so then you try to fill in the gaps.”

When talking about Season 7, Chris did commend Tim and Alex for addressing their issues at the reunion. Still, he felt like it would have been more meaningful if it happened during the “experiment,” even if their fate remained the same.

“The point isn’t that they get engaged, or [whether] they get married or not,” Chris explained. “The actual question at the heart of the series is whether that feeling, that love that many people describe, is that enough to survive whatever the real world throws at them?”

He continued, “And the people who get the altar and say yes, say, ‘I do,’ you know, the fact that 11 of those 13 couples who have done that so far are still together. . . supports the theory and the idea of what the show really is about.”

Season 7 of Love Is Blind is streaming on Netflix, and Season 8 drops on February 14, 2025.

TELL US – WHAT WERE YOUR THOUGHTS ON TIM AND ALEX’S SUDDEN BREAKUP? DO YOU AGREE WITH CHRIS THAT COUPLES WOULD BENEFIT FROM ADDRESSING THEIR ISSUES ON CAMERA?

Why JT Thomas Will Be Missed on Southern Charm After Quitting the Show

JT Thomas Southern Charm

Over the years, the cast of Southern Charm has had to say hello and goodbye to multiple cast members. First, we lost Cameran Eubanks, who just didn’t want to deal with the petty drama. Then, Chelsea Messer and Naomie Olindo. Shortly after, we said goodbye to the show’s villain. Kathryn Dennis. On November 8, 2024, JT Thomas announced he would quit Southern Charm before its Season 10 premiere in December. I am a JT apologist, but I do tend to like a thirsty newcomer. Dare I say, I am going to miss the guy.

JT Thomas was the class clown of Southern Charm

Now, before we start, I realize I’m in the minority regarding missing JT. After reading a few comments, many of you seem to feel he added nothing to the show and were happy to see his backside. I, however, disagree. JT was a nice addition and added some much-needed comic relief, because some of the stuff he came up with was hilarious.

I’m not afraid to admit that I laughed hard at him running after his Uber. The man is awkwardly funny. Picture a young Martin Short. Another classic scene for me was when Craig Conover asked him to be his Valentine. He noted, “Well, I asked my mom, and she said no, so sure.”

But perhaps the funniest moment provided by JT was when he told Austen Kroll he had a demon inside him. After Andy Cohen asked how he was doing, JT bluntly stated, “I think I’m going to perform the first-ever f*ck boy exorcism.” It was refreshing to see a guy on the show that was awkward and vulnerable.

JT Thomas was an amazing Southern Charm pot stirrer

Some viewers may have found JT a bit grating, but he only ever said what we were thinking when it came to calling out his co-stars. In Season 9, JT had been standing up for the little guy (no pun intended), and it all came to a head during the season finale.

JT struggled with Taylor Ann Green not wanting him all season, especially since he was an “actual successful, good, positive man.” The Pillows and Beer podcast host had no idea what he was getting himself into. Next thing he knew, JT was shouting, “You’re a snake and a coward. You have been the genesis of why there’s so much pain and tears. Everyone here has said you are an arm’s-length friend who cannot be trusted around any woman.”

The man wasn’t wrong. And fans enjoyed the shade. After being called a “child,” JT didn’t hold back, telling Austen, “You’re a little boy who cried wolf wrapped in a 6’5″ frame.” Naturally, the Trop Hop owner lost it and pushed JT right off his perch stool. From Episode 1, it is evident that JT was a shaken, not stirred, kind of guy. And I will miss his ability to get under the guys’ skin.

JT Thomas was the gentleman Southern Charm needed

The moment Taylor walked into the room, JT was smitten. The guy never stood a chance. Taylor eventually placed him in the holding pen called the friend zone, but JT still showed viewers how a man with manners really treats a lady. The man with a possible Napoleon Complex was a knight in shining armor for the women of Southern Charm. He didn’t hold back his opinions of Shep Rose, who he noted lacked “respect for women.” Shep likely needed that wake-up call.

And it wasn’t just Shep’s inability to keep it in his pants that annoyed JT. The two-season wonder was given the ick when Shep drank out of the milk carton and didn’t appreciate the OG not telling everyone he had COVID-19 when in the Carolina mountains. Bravo’s knight in shining armor also rode into battle for Madison LeCroy after Austen talked down to her. It was really nice to see one of the guys stick up for what was right for once. Whatever JT does next, I wish him well. During the premiere, I’ll make sure to pour a drink out in his honor.

Southern Charm is available to stream on Peacock.

Bachelorette Alum Jason Tartick Not ‘Mentally Ready’ to Date After Kat Stickler Split

Don’t even think about asking Jason Tartick on a date right now. He’s not interested. The 36-year-old Bachelorette alum isn’t ready for romance following his recent breakup with Kat Stickler. Jason has a new focus moving forward after being unlucky in love twice in the last couple of years.

Honestly, it shouldn’t be too surprising that the Bachelorette alum isn’t ready to move on from Kat just yet. It’s only been about three weeks since he announced he had broken up with the influencer in what they called an “amicable split.”

“It’s fair to say that I love hard with all my heart and fall fast,” Jason wrote in an Instagram Story announcing the breakup. “Sometimes in life, that works out and other times it doesn’t. This time it didn’t.”

Although it had been less than a month since the split, a reporter from People asked him about his future dating plans. They caught up while attending Heidi Klum’s infamous Halloween party, and Jason quickly explained that he was not in the “mindset” for dating.

“I’m mentally not there right now,” Jason admitted. “I’m just trying to take care of myself right now.”

Fortunately, Jason seems to be moving into a new phase of the breakup. He’s not wallowing inside and binging on ice cream. He said the Halloween party was his first time getting “out and about” since the split, so that’s a big step.

He noted, “It’s good to change it up a little bit.”

The Bachelor Nation star first confirmed his relationship with Kat earlier this year. It was his first public romance since ending his engagement to Kaitlyn Bristowe. When those two called it off, Jason said he was experiencing “tidal waves of depression.” With that in mind, it’s probably wise for him to take a break from dating. Refresh and reset, Jason!

TELL US – DO YOU THINK IT WAS APPROPRIATE TO ASK JASON ABOUT DATING SO SOON AFTER HIS BREAKUP? HOW LONG DO YOU THINK HE SHOULD TAKE BEFORE GETTING BACK OUT THERE?

The Sister Wives Cancelation Rumors Explained

Sister Wives cast

Since 2010, TLC’s hit show Sister Wives has been a staple on the network. Viewers have come to know Kody Brown and his four wives after watching them through multiple life milestones. The series initially showed a jovial polygamous family navigating the roads to living a more accessible life. However, as the years went on, Kody started to lose sight of his dream, pushing Christine Brown, Janelle Brown, and Meri Brown away. The seasons have fallen behind on filming, and now fans are bored. So, could Sister Wives be heading for its last chapter?

Where did the Sister Wives rumor originate?

Some Sister Wives viewers started to freak out after a viral Facebook post went live noting the show’s cancellation. The post appeared on several Sister Wives groups and seemed genuine. The image was convincing as it showed the network’s featured photo with a big red “Cancelled” stamp over it. The blurb noted that the once-popular series would be coming to an end after Season 19. However, there has been no official word from the network. And we’ve had false alarms before.

But it is hard to deny that Season 19 is only six episodes in, and fans are bored out of their skulls. TLC has fallen behind with filming for the past two seasons, with the newest season being taped in 2022. Loyal viewers have been getting real-life updates on the cast’s social media and feel that this is all old information. TLC has yet to put out an official statement regarding the future of their show, but there have been some Easter eggs hinting at the show’s end.

The Sister Wives theme no longer exists

At the start of Season 1, Kody noted, “Love should be multiplied, not divided.” But the father of 18 is singing a very different tune. Viewers started watching the series when the family all lived under the same roof in Lehi, Utah. Their lifestyle was foreign to most viewers, and the premise was interesting. However, fast forward to the present day, and fans are now watching Kody live a monogamous marriage with his fourth and favorite wife. The family is split as Janelle has moved to North Carolina and Meri and Christine to Utah. It seems complicated to film a family series when they are no longer together.

Christine has also moved on. Once Kody’s third wife, she was now moved on to a new marriage with David Woolley. It also doesn’t help that the Sister Wives showcases his disgruntled relationship with many of his older children. Kody took his COVID-19 rules too far and alienated his offspring, causing fights among fights. As a viewer, it’s been hard to watch the children become upset, and Kody’s constant spiraling has grown old. Frankly, the fans have been left confused by the plot of the once-popular franchise.

Fans of Sister Wives are voicing their concerns

TLC is very aware that fans are disappointed with the last few seasons of Sister Wives. And viewers are not holding back by how disheartened they are. For instance, almost no one is interested in watching Robyn Brown cry for the millionth time about being unable to sit on a porch with her sister wives through her twilight years. I believe there is a chance that the Sister Wives, as we know, could be coming to an end. But I think TLC is more than happy to sort a spin-off of some sort. Fans have noted they would be more than happy to see Janelle and Christine flourish in their lives. Janelle recently announced she was starting her own farm, too. So the material is there!

Even Meri, Kody’s first wife, noted that the show would eventually have to come to an end. While on The Sarah Frasher Show, Meri noted, “Is it on the downhill? I mean, we have been going for so long. It is not something that is going to go forever. It is just not. No show ever goes forever. But you cannot predict it either. I do not think that we ever would have thought that we would have gone this long, and we have. People like the drama.”

Sister Wives remains in limbo as fans are learning not to believe everything they read online.

Why RHOP’s Karen Huger Needs to Be Given Grace Amid Season 9 Drama

Karen Huger of the Real Housewives of Potomac has always been a formidable force. As an OG of the series, Karen likes to hold herself up on a pedestal, and she often refers to herself as The Grand Dame. But in recent years, Karen has taken a bit of a tumble from her high horse. And the rest of the women are not letting her indiscretions slide. In the most recent episode, Mia Thornton made sure to hold Karen accountable for her DUI. But did Mia and the cast take the attacks a bit too far?

While driving from the airport, Mia tried to get some answers about Karen’s court date. But the mother of two refused to say a word. Karen hardly got a chance to eat her scrambled eggs the morning of Wendy Osefo’s birthday because she was getting annihilated from all sides. Mia revealed that Karen had butt dialed her three years ago. The former stripper shared that she heard Karen cackling, saying, “Those girls think I’m with Ray.” Even though Karen brushed it off as a conversation with her driver, Mia wasn’t relenting. Mia dropped the news because she felt her friend, Jacqueline Blake, was being attacked by the OG for no reason. It was clear Karen felt backed into a corner after being bombarded with rumors and questions.

She finally lashed out at Jacqueline. Karen accused her partner, Patrick, of having 25 convictions. We all knew what Karen was doing. She was blowing the smoke onto someone else to save herself. Karen is great at “spewing facts,” but personally, I think she was tired of constantly defending herself against this group of friends.

Calling Karen Huger names wasn’t cool

Both Mia and Jacqueline went hard for Karen this past week. As Jacqueline tried to give a questionable toast to the birthday girl, she slipped and noted, “When you hold grudges, it’s going to make you a bitter old b*tch.” Yikes, ladies! Save something for the reunion. Karen sat idly by as she let her two frenemies chat sh*t. But again, I think you could tell the name-calling was wearing her down.

For Mia, spilling the tea about Karen made sense. She told Page Six, “She had spent the entire day coming after my girl … I just felt like she was trying to accuse Jacqueline of being a liar and that she’s not telling the truth and that she makes things up.” Multiple Real Housewives of Potomac cast members have claimed to have been butt-dialed by Karen, including Gizelle Bryant. On Sunday’s episode, Ashley Darby added, “The streets have been alive with some of Karen’s forays. I’ve heard some things, seen a couple things. So I believe with every fiber of my being that Mia and Joy are telling the truth.”

Does Karen Huger deserve a break?

Karen’s trial for her DUI is coming up on December 16. Until then, the RHOP star will keep her cards close to her chest. However, it feels like she has already been judged by the masses. I am a firm believer that you are innocent until proven guilty. Do I think Karen did something wrong? Yes. But I will be waiting until the trial to be given the facts. It must be exhausting for Karen to have to put on a brave face through filming. In this fan’s humble opinion, Karen, from day one, has been the villain we all love to hate. But even villains need to be given a day off every once in a while. That said, I don’t think Karen’s indiscretions should be ignored.

But I think her costars should have thought about her feelings just a bit more. Once again, Season 9 was filmed during the same months where Karen lost her mother. She obviously had the DUI charges, and her marriage to Ray Huger has once again been called into question. There is only so much one person can take. So, in the spirit of the holiday that is approaching, maybe Karen should be given just a bit of grace. Maybe the ladies should have talked to her privately instead of airing her dirty laundry. But sadly, I doubt Karen will be able to catch a break because Mia and the rest of the ladies are ready to see Karen squirm in the hot seat.
