Our Predictions for the End of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6

It’s hard to believe 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 6 is already over two months in. Season 6 has introduced a diverse group of cast members, each of whom is battling their own obstacles. Shekinah Garner and Sarper Guven are one of two returning couples, along with Statler Riley and Dempsey Wilkinson. Both of these couples have learned more about one another this season, which has led them to question if they’re a good fit.

On the other hand, Season 6 also features four new couples. James Solis moved to Indonesia for his wife Meitalia Tantri Solis, which has proved challenging. To make matters worse, James and Meitalia are at a standstill on the matter of having children. Another American who moved abroad for love this season is Josh, who traveled to China for his wife Lily. The pair have good chemistry but often argue when it comes to money.

Over in Iceland, Corona Blakey and Ingi Hilmar are struggling to see eye to eye. Corona wants more from Ingi, who seems more intent on taking things slow. Finally, Joanne DiGesu flew to Ireland with her two sons and best friend to introduce them to her husband Sean. The only kicker is that she didn’t tell them she was married until after they met him. Based on everything that’s gone down so far, here are our predictions for the rest of Season 6!

Shekinah and Sarper will work through their issues on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way

Despite running into a few ups and downs this season, Shekinah and Sarper will probably end up just fine. The couple’s most heated arguments started over a vanity, which caused Shekinah to leave Sarper’s apartment. After meeting up with Shekinah to apologize, Sarper agreed to go to therapy to help their relationship.

Sarper also surprised Shekinah by taking her to a junkyard to smash his infamous liquor bottles. Shekinah explained that the bottles were representative of Sarper’s past, so it meant a lot to her that he destroyed them. Furthermore, Sarper also burned his black book, which had a tally for each of the 2500 women he had slept with. Sarper is taking serious steps to prove himself to Shekinah, which will likely pay off for him.

Statler and Dempsey might break up on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way

Since Statler arrived in England, she and Dempsey haven’t been able to get on the same page. Statler expressed concerns over Dempsey hiding money after she had gone into debt to afford their new van. Dempsey didn’t seem to understand where Statler was coming from, which created tension between the two.

Problems escalated for the couple when Statler had a panic attack on a ferry ride. Dempsey took it personally and got annoyed that Statler was bringing down the mood. This caused Dempsey to suggest that maybe she and Statler just didn’t understand one another at all. Statler, on the other hand, felt hurt that Dempsey would try to end things during a panic attack of all times. Things aren’t looking good for Statler and Dempsey right now and it wouldn’t be a surprise if they split by the end of Season 6.

James and Meitalia will continue fighting, but stay together

James and Meitalia have already had a ton of fights this season. First, Meitalia felt frustrated with James for lying about bringing their dog Jojo to Indonesia. After James arrived in Indonesia, Meitalia felt pressured about having to constantly translate things for him. James, on the other hand, felt stressed over finances.

The biggest problem for the couple, however, has been the topic of children. While Meitalia is intent on being a mother, James revealed that he was unsure he wanted to have kids. The news devastated Meitalia, who was visibly annoyed with James. Despite their many differences, however, it seems like nothing will tear James and Meitalia apart. The couple is madly in love and that probably won’t change.

Josh will continue adjusting well to life in China on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way

Out of all the American cast members this season, Josh has had the easiest time transitioning to life abroad. Josh hadn’t been to China before moving there but had no trouble feeling right at home. Between Lily’s delicious food, and his love of Chinese culture, Josh hasn’t exactly been missing America.

While Josh and Lily have had a few fights during Season 6, they always resolve them quickly. The couple’s relationship isn’t in any real danger and Josh’s easy time adjusting to China has certainly helped with that. Josh is having the time of his life with Lily in China and will likely continue doing so.

Corona might leave Iceland

Corona and Ingi have faced several obstacles this season and their future isn’t looking so bright at this point in the season. One of Corona’s biggest concerns about moving to Iceland was giving up her spot in a prestigious midwifery program. Corona planned to continue pursuing her dream in Iceland but has now hit a major roadblock. Courses are only offered in Icelandic, which Corona doesn’t speak.

Between this and her doubts about Ingi, it’s possible that Corona may leave Iceland by the end of the season. Corona is ready to get engaged to Ingi but it’s evident that he isn’t there yet. Perhaps Corona will try to get her spot in the US program back before it’s too late.

Joanne and Sean will make their marriage work on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way

Joanne and Sean were the last couple introduced this season but their story is one of the most interesting. After meeting through Joanne’s psychic medium business, the pair quickly fell in love. In fact, after a few trips to Ireland, Joanne decided to marry Sean on a whim. Neither Joanne nor Sean told their loved ones about the marriage.

During Season 6, Joanne brought her two sons and best friend to meet Sean. They were understandably stunned when Joanne dropped the bomb that they were married. Things got a little awkward but Joanne’s friend eventually congratulated them. Despite this bump in the road, Joanne and Sean’s relationship is incredibly strong. It seems like this couple can get through anything, even hiding their marriage from everyone for two years.

Mia Thornton Enjoying ‘Hotter Than Ever’ Romance With Inc

Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9 is right around the corner, and Mia Thornton will be debuting her relationship with Incognito. The two had reconnected shortly after her divorce from Gordon Thornton. We don’t know much about their relationship quite yet; however, Mia is sure to share some piping hot tea in the new season. In the meantime, we have a sneak peek into their “hotter-than-ever” romance and what’s to come for them on the show.

Last season brought the shocking revelation that Mia and Gordon were separating. Then Mia dropped another bombshell; she was moving on with her boyfriend from high school, Inc. And surprisingly, the couple is still going strong.

Bravo’s The Daily Dish reported the details of their relationship and the messy drama to come. Per the show’s press release, “Mia Thornton‘s life is what you’d call complicated. She’s in the process of getting a divorce from Gordon while her relationship with her new man, radio personality Inc, is hotter than ever. If that wasn’t enough, the ladies are questioning some of her actions, making it hard for her to know whom to trust in the group.” Karen Huger and Mia need to make up ASAP! Mia needs a ride or die in her corner. 

And she sure could use a friend to help get through the drama shown in the Season 9 trailer. Mia “endured a tense moment involving her estranged husband and current beau.” Afterward, Gordon stormed off, and Mia told Inc, “This is a can of worms you opened.” Does anyone have any popcorn?

Regarding her relationship with Gordon, Mia wanted to clarify that she would have left him regardless of whether Inc was there or not. There was that little matter of public shaming, after all. Mia told Andy Cohen, “Even if Inc wasn’t in the picture, Gordon and I were definitely still on the road of separation.”

It will be interesting to see this trio’s dynamic in the new season. One thing is for certain: when it comes to Mia, it will be anything but boring.

Bachelorette Jenn Tran’s Controversial Ex-Fiancé Devin Strader Had 2017 Restraining Order

Just when you thought he couldn’t get any worse, Jenn Tran’s ex-fiancé, Devin Strader proves you wrong. In addition to breaking off their engagement and sliding into the DMs of other girls, he also had a restraining order before appearing on The Bachelorette.

That’s right, Devin was arrested seven years before he appeared on the reality dating show. Information that probably would have been important for Jenn to have during her slightly controversial season.

Red flags flying for Devin Strader

Devin was already a bit sus during the Bachelorette. Everyone said he had a lot of potential red flags. His behavior after the season only confirmed those red flags even more, like breaking off his engagement, sharing private messages, and apparently sliding into the DMs of other women.

Not surprisingly, that’s not all. In 2017, Devin was arrested after he allegedly burglarized the home of his ex-girlfriend in Louisiana. Entertainment Weekly obtained an affidavit that his ex-girlfriend also filed a restraining order after the incident.

The woman was not named in the arrest warrant by the Baton Rouge Police Department. She told the police that she and Devin had recently broken up and he lived near her. The woman claimed that he allegedly burglarized her home and a diamond necklace Devin gave her was allegedly missing.

She also alleged to the police that Devin had come to her house banging on the door and screaming at her. This is what caused her to file the restraining order. And then allegedly later that evening Devin made a fire with what appeared to be the actual restraining order. 

While the burglary arrest affidavit was public record the restraining order was sealed previously. It included a handwritten account of a woman that claimed Devin “spit on her and threw a drink at her” and that he “put her in a chokehold.” Since the documents were sealed The Bachelorette crew did not find it in their background search.

So it looks like Jenn dodged a bullet. Time will only tell what other red flags Devin might be hiding.

Monica Garcia Joins House of Villains Season 2, but Not How You Think

Who knew we needed a House of Villains and Real Housewives of Salt Lake City crossover? RHOSLC alum Monica Garcia will be joining House of Villains Season 2, but not as a cast member. Instead, she will be narrating what’s going on in the show. This is amazing news for those bummed that Monica won’t be joining Season 5 of RHOSLC. And for those who don’t know who Monica is, get ready to meet one of the most memorable Bravo villains of all time.

Monica was a one-season wonder during her time on Season 4 of RHOSLC. How many others were able to sit next to Andy Cohen at the reunion for their first go around? And Monica got that coveted spot when Heather Gay outed her as part of Reality Von Tease, a gossip account that exposed Jen Shah.

While Monica wanted to come back to the show, allegedly, other cast members said they would quit if she did. So it’s only natural that Monica would join House of Villains instead. For those who need a refresher, House of Villains features reality TV’s top baddies as they compete for $200,000 and the title of America’s Ultimate Supervillain.

Monica shared, “I’m back, b*tches! That’s right, it’s the one and only Monica Garcia. And if you thought you knew me from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, think again. Because this time, I’m not just stirring the pot. I’m narrating the whole damn show!”

She continued, “Welcome to the House of Villains, where the baddest of the bad go head to head. And who better to tell you all about it than me?!” Agreed, Monica was an excellent choice. Monica then concluded, “I think that’s enough of a Von (Tea)se for now.”

Luckily, we won’t have to wait long to hear Monica in action. There will be a two-night premiere starting October 9. And there is no doubt Monica will have clocked the “Receipts! Proof! Timeline!” for the entire cast of House of Villains.

Artem Chigvintsev Requests Joint Custody of Son in Nikki Garcia Divorce

Pro dancer Artem Chigvintsev responded to his estranged wife Nikki Garcia’s divorce filing with his own paperwork on September 13. Artem listed their date of separation as August 29, the same day he was arrested for domestic violence by the Napa County Sheriff’s Department. He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, which is standard under California’s no-fault divorce laws.

But unlike his estranged wife, who requested sole custody of their son, with her ex having visitation rights, Artem requested shared custody of the four-year-old. In addition, Artem asked for Nikki to pay alimony and legal fees, while in her paperwork, she requested the court terminate both parties’ right to spousal support.

What we know about Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Garcia’s ongoing split following his arrest

The Napa County Sheriff’s Office’s Public Information Officer told E! News that Artem was taken into custody on August 29. He was arrested shortly after 10 a.m. under California penal code section 273.5 (a)PC, which relates to acts of violence against a spouse or other cohabitant. He was later released on a $25,000 bail.

Since her husband’s arrest, Nikki has been seen on multiple occasions without her wedding ring. Sadly, the couple had just celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary only days before the incident. They married in Paris in 2022, their wedding documented in a four-part E! television series, Nikki Bella Says I Do.

The NCSD has not released the name, gender, or age of the alleged victim. We also do not know the individual’s relationship to Artem, in the interest of victim privacy.

“When someone is charged with felony domestic violence,” said the Public Information Officer, “usually this means there is a visible injury or credible eyewitness. Our deputies felt comfortable arresting him on felony domestic violence charges.”

“Of course, this could change with more evidence that might come through,” he continued. “But at the time of the arrest, the deputies felt it was a felony charge instead of a misdemeanor.”

Though neither party has publicly addressed their breakup, Garcia’s rep told E! News on September 12, “[Nikki] continues to ask for privacy for her and her family at this time.” Meanwhile, Artem was supposedly not scheduled to participate in Season 33 of Dancing with the Stars; even before the arrest.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 1 Recap: Dropping a Bath Bombshell

Welcome to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 1 recap! In this week’s episode, called “Costume or Couture?” Lisa invites all her “friends” to a Valentine’s party, which quickly degenerates into shouting and arguing, so the usual then. Lisa is upset with Whitney for calling her a “villain” on Nick Viall’s podcast. Meredith is upset with Whitney for veering into Meredith’s commercial space with her jewelry line and her bath products. Angie brought her own list of grievances against Meredith, and everyone is demanding apologies. Here are some of the highlights from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5, Episode 1.

Besos, Bitches!

Say what you want about Salt Lake City; it sure is pretty. After some lovely drone shots of the Wasatch and Oquirrh Mountains, we zoom in on Lisa and her sister-in-law Kim stepping out of a car at the Blue Sky Ranch.

Apparently, it’s a Valentine’s party, and Lisa’s called it “Besos,” which means “kisses” in Spanish. Lisa wants to remind her girlfriends that she loves them … “some more than others.”

“Last year wasn’t the easiest,” Lisa tells us, flashing back to the dinner in Bermuda where they all confronted Monica. “There was so much turmoil with my friends. It’s not the first time we’ve gone through it, but it’s the worst time we’ve gone through it. I think that brings all of us so close together.”

Lisa questions Whitney’s friendship on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5

“Two Weeks Earlier,” we see Lisa telling Angie and Heather (who’s lost A LOT of weight since last season and looks great) that she’s inviting Whitney, even though “she was rude about me on a podcast.”

On the podcast, Whit told former Bachelor Nick Viall that Lisa never apologizes for anything. “She doesn’t care about anything else other than being right,” Whitney said. “Lisa’s always been the villain!”

Angie and Mary are besties this season on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

Mary and Angie arrive together. They’re friends now. They even bought the same sunglasses, though in different colored frames.

It all started with Angie giving Mary a heads-up at the Season 4 Reunion that she had lipstick on her teeth. Now they’re besties with matching Burkins and everything. Mary even invited Angie to Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party, which I understand is a big deal.

For her part, Mary feels Angie “brings a genuine side that really cares about me.” Awww! Mary finally has a friend – outside of Meredith.

Heather shows up in a red pleather dress with three-dimensional hearts all over it. It’s pretty cute. “You know I love a theme,” she squeals.

“You look pretty,” Mary says. “And thin!”

“I finally cracked the code,” Heather tells us in a confessional. “I lost 25 pounds, and now Mary Cosby loves me.” She does look like a different person, but we all know it was Ozempic (not that that’s a bad thing).

“I’ve gone from ‘inbred,’” Heather jokes, “to pretty and thin. This is the start of a beautiful relationship.”

And here comes our newbie, Bronwyn Newport. She’s wearing a white dress printed with red kisses and a giant red, furry heart jacket. Talk about being on theme. Everybody stops and turns to watch her arrival.

My friend Google tells me that Bronwyn is a successful Broadway producer and a fashionista. Lisa tells us she’s always “over the top” and lots of fun. She has six dogs, a teenage daughter named Gwen, and a husband “who’s just a little bit older than me.” She’s 38, while he’s 65.

Meeting the “friends” for RHOSLC Season 5

We also meet the “friends of” for the season Meili Workman and Britani Bateman. Britani is a “messed-up Mormon,” according to Heather, who she’s known for a few years. She was dating Jared Osmond, “which is the Mormon equivalent of dating Prince Harry,” until the day of the party.

As Britani sits down with Bronwyn and Mary, she makes a bad first impression. “Bronwyn, I love your costume!” she says – a major faux pas. “Oh, Lord. She done called it a costume. I’m done,” Mary laments. “That’s fashion, honey.” STRIKE NUMBER ONE.

Mary then takes to confessional to joke Britani took “about 17 German Shepherds to the groomer, and then she made a coat, and then dyed it burgundy.” It’s all fun, camp drama, until Mary opens up about her past.

She says that she has a room full of clothes, because when she was younger, she and her siblings didn’t have much. To which Britani responds, “So you became a hoarder.” STRIKE NUMBER TWO.

Britani tries to reel it back, by saying she “was there” as she “grew up poor.” She also admits to putting food in her purse. STRIKE NUMBER THREE. “Well, I wasn’t poor, I didn’t say that,” Mary bites back. And it’s “not okay” to put food in your purse.

Audiences better keep a close eye on the dynamics between Britani, Bronwyn, and Mary.

Is Whitney encroaching on Meredith’s territory?

Meredith’s also got a bone to pick with Whitney. First, Whit came out with a jewelry line (Meredith has a jewelry line). Then she came out with a line of bath products, while Meredith says, “Everybody knows the bath is my thing.”

At the party, she approaches Whitney and asks, “What’s up with the bath bombs? … What is your problem with me?”

“I have no problem with you,” Whitney responds. “You’re reading way too much into this.”

In a confessional, she adds, “I am genuinely concerned that Meredith is spending too much time in the bathtub … I think everything is starting to shrivel up and prune, including her brain.”

“If you loved me as a friend, you would have picked up the phone and [told me you were] doing this,” Meredith says.

“If you were a friend, you’d know I’ve already sold bath bombs,” Whitney says. “That’s how I launched my business … You bought Iris and Beau [Whitney’s business] and put it in your store.”

“You didn’t have bath bombs when I bought it,” Meredith says, but Whitney insists she did.

Whitney admits she’s sorry she didn’t send Meredith a box of bath bombs with a note saying, “You’re gonna love these!”

Some people make lists; Angie brings a scroll

As Whitney and Meredith wind up their conversation, Angie asks, “Can I have a minute to talk to Meredith?”

“Heather made me aware that you are wanting an apology. I’m happy to give you an apology, Meredith,” she says, pulling a giant scroll out of her purse. OMG, what is this?

“[But] here’s a few things that I’d like an apology for,” Angie says, untying the scroll, which unwinds to the ground. Jeeze Louise, could this woman be any more dramatic? Everyone’s jaws drop, including that of a horse munching hay nearby. It’s just so silly.

Angie wants Meredith to apologize “for suggesting I’m involved in organized crime [the “Greek Mafia” accusation from last season], for encouraging [Monica] to sue me and take my home, threatening rumors about my family, threatening rumors about my business, perpetuating rumors on Twitter …”

Everyone’s amazed that Angie brought a scroll. “Where do you even get a scroll?” Whitney wants to know. She went to the crafts store, bought all the materials, and made it. That’s where she got it.

“This is some calculated sh*t!” Heather laughs. Angie went to a lot of trouble to bring a prop to Lisa’s party. She’s really working too hard at “making good television.”

“You should be ashamed of yourself,” Angie concludes.

“We’re finished,” Meredith snaps and walks away. That went well.

In a confessional, Angie says she thought Meredith would laugh off the list, but “Meredith has no sense of humor. I think it went down the drain with her dirty bath water.”

Bronwyn tries to broker peace on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

Finally, Lisa says, “Let’s go eat.” Someone raises a metal door, and they can all go inside and be seated at the table.

At the table, Angie and Meredith are still bickering about who owes who an apology. It’s so silly. Finally, Bronwyn says, “Can you just draw a line and say, ‘We’re gonna start from here. We’re not gonna talk about the past stuff anymore.’ Let’s just draw a line and keep going.” Sensible advice.

Even though Angie agrees, she can’t stop talking about it. Let it go, Angie.

“Can we do it now?” Bronwyn repeats. “Let’s do it now.”

Even though she says, “Okay,” Angie keeps talking about Meredith telling someone to “take her house.” They should not be seated near each other.

After Bronwyn’s third attempt at making peace, Heather gives up and puts a napkin over her face. “I am over it,” she sighs.

Lisa and Whitney go at it

At the table, Whitney mentions Lisa’s toast when she said they had things to talk about. “What’s going on?”

Lisa’s angry that Whitney made her podcast about “me, not about you.”

Whitney says that Lisa heard it as being all about herself because she’s “self-absorbed.” Ouch.

“You lied about me to disparage my character,” Lisa fires.

Whitney objects to being called a liar. And off we go.

“Lisa’s calling me a liar over how I feel is Narcissism 101,” Whitney says in a confessional. “You can’t tell someone that they’re lying about their feelings. It’s like me telling Lisa, ‘Diet Coke [Lisa’s favorite] is not the best. You’re lying! Diet Pepsi is the best’ … You f*cking liar!” LOL.

When Whitney lets it slip that she heard Lisa was complaining about her just this past week, Lisa knows it was either Angie or Heather (see above) and demands, “Who told you?”

It was Angie, but Whitney doesn’t want to throw her under the bus. But when Heather says it wasn’t her, Angie admits she was the one who talked to Whitney. Lisa goes ballistic. So much for love and besos.

This argument makes no sense to me. Finally, Lisa insists Whitney lied about her, and Angie was disloyal to her, throwing her drink and shattering the glass for emphasis. That’s gonna come out of your deposit, Lisa.

The look on Bronwyn’s face is priceless. She’s like, “WTF did I sign up for? This is crazy.”

“I have not done anything besides call you a villain,” Whitney says, “which I stand by.”

“I will be your villain, bitch!” Lisa claps back. “Game on. You want me to be your villain, I’ll be your villain.”

“I have never lied,” Whitney responds, to which Heather lets out a huge cackling laugh.

“I love Whitney,” she interviews, “but this is what drives me crazy. She spins the truth to fit her own narrative where she can do no wrong. I’ve seen Whitney do this time and again, and it’s incredibly frustrating.”

“You lied about me and the book,” Heather tells her. “And you lied about giving approval [for what she wrote in the book].” Didn’t Heather spend years lying about her black eye? But it’s not over there…

“You accused me of lying about my father’s memorial,” Meredith adds. “That’s the most hurtful thing a ‘friend’ has ever done to me … You accused Mary of running a cult and being a predator … You’ve accused everyone in our core group of having affairs.”

“You chased me out of a bar [in Bermuda],” Heather throws in, “and you screamed, ‘You exploited my vagina!’ … That was a f*cking lie, which makes you a liar.”

I think Lisa made a mistake with the open bar. Some of these “ladies” have been way overserved.

Just say you’re sorry you hurt her “fillings” and move on, Whitney. You’re all just going around in circles, and it’s making me dizzy.

Finally, Whitney reaches her limit. Miss Healing Journey holds up her middle finger and says, “F*ck you, Lisa Barlow.” She was backed into a corner, so she bit.

“You can leave,” Lisa tells her. “There’s the door.”

Before leaving, Whitney turns around and accuses them all of “weaponizing her trauma” against her. Heather certainly did that once upon a time, but this time round? That’s unclear.

Also, did anyone peep the band members laughing their asses off when Whitney walked out? Classic.

Bravo Fall Schedule 2024 Revealed: When to Watch New RHOSLC, RHONY, RHOP, and More

The air is feeling crisp. Slowly but surely, the leaves are changing, and the pumpkin spice crazy has officially taken over. Fall 2024 is here, folks, and thankfully, Bravo is going to have us covered with a lineup of all-new lineup of shows. The 2024 Bravo Fall schedule has arrived!

Over the last few weeks, Bravo has been hitting us with trailers for new seasons of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, The Real Housewives of New York City, and most recently, The Real Housewives of Potomac.

Now, the network just announced its full programming schedule for Fall 2024, and it’s enough to keep us cozy through all of the “ber” months. They’re pretty much guaranteeing that we have something to watch every single day of the week.

• Sundays, 8/7c: The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 7 (premieres on October 6)

• Wednesdays, 9/8c: The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 (premieres on September 18)
• Thursdays, 9/8c: The Real Housewives of Orange County continues with new episodes of Season 18.

In addition to new seasons of coast-to-coast Housewives franchises, there’s a new season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht on the horizon and more. Above is a day-by-day breakdown of when you can watch all of the new shows this fall.

Of course, you can cap off all of these shows with brand-new episodes of Watch What Happens Live, which airs at 10/9c Sunday through Thursday night. Our guy Andy Cohen will help us process all of the drama, like he’s been doing for the past 15 years.

On Fridays and Saturdays, you’re allowed to take a little bit of a Bravo breather. Or, you can log into Peacock and catch up on anything you missed. They’ve got pretty much the whole Bravo vault available to stream.

RHONY Newbie Rebecca Minkoff’s Father Named in Wrongful Death Lawsuit

When Bravo announced Rebecca Minkoff as a new cast member of The Real Housewives of New York City, some fans immediately cringed because of her association with the controversial Church of Scientology. Now, just in time for the RHONY Season 15 premiere, her father has been named in a wrongful death lawsuit. It all links back to the church, and the details are disturbing.

Rebecca’s father is Dr. David Minkoff. He owns a clinic in Florida called LifeWorks Wellness Center. According to Radar Online, David has been added to an ongoing lawsuit involving the suicide of a woman named Whitney Mills.

To understand Dr. David, you first have to look at his past. In 1995, he became involved in a case with a woman named Lisa McPherson. She died while under the care of the Church of Scientology. The subsequent lawsuit resulted in a $100,000 settlement and Dr. David losing his medical license. What is it with the world of Housewives and public medical callouts? Allegedly, he prescribed sedatives over the phone to third-party church staff handling her care. He never even met her.

Despite the suspended medical license, he continued to “treat” patients at his clinic. Whitney, the woman at the center of the latest lawsuit, became a patient in 2015.

According to the complaint, LifeWorks diagnosed her with ovarian cysts, Lyme disease complications, and various other conditions. Before her death, she complained about deteriorating mental health symptoms. Her complaints included “anxiety, insomnia, hallucinations and the sensation her skin was burning.”

Rather than accessing her mental health concerns, the complaint alleges that Dr. David solely focused on her physical ailments and prescribed her a bunch of experimental drugs and herbal remedies. He even prescribed her ivermectin, which became well-known during the coronavirus outbreak as a dangerous, unproven remedy.

The complaint against Rebecca’s father includes allegations about the communication he had with his “patient” before her death. She’d reach out to him complaining about her mental health struggles, and instead of offering medical treatments, his suggestions aligned with Scientology practices. The lawsuit seeks to prove that his lack of medical care resulted in her death.

Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos ‘Was Feeling Really Guilty’ Dating After Late Husband

Joan Vassos had a hard time processing her circumstances after her late husband, John, passed away. Filming The Golden Bachelorette only complicated these feelings further.

When ABC first announced Joan as their pick to spearhead the new spinoff, fans expressed their support. Some folks were a little too excited, inundating her with unwanted attention by way of d*ck pics. But even that wasn’t the most difficult thing.

No matter how Joan’s season might end, the journey wasn’t all smooth sailing. The sexagenarian had to come to terms with grief over her late husband. She couldn’t help but feel that she was hurting her husband. So, how did she carry on?

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Joan discussed the difficulty in dating with her husband’s memory. “My husband passed away during COVID and I really didn’t embrace the whole mourning thing,” Joan explained. “I was in charge of being strong. I just buckled down and ignored it.”

Nevertheless, Joan explained that she “had to face it” on The Golden Bachelorette. “It was in my face that I was feeling really guilty, honestly, about having feelings for somebody else. I almost felt like I was cheating on John, which is crazy because he’s passed away.” Joan said The Golden Bachelorette’s team of psychiatrists helped her process her guilt.

Before John passed, he reportedly told his wife, “I want you to find somebody. You are the greatest wife in the world. I don’t want you to be alone. I want you to find somebody.” Joan said that she eventually “felt comfortable” sharing about John with contestants. “Keeping his memory alive didn’t seem like I was being weird,” she explained.

Her openness allowed her potential suitors to discuss their late wives as well. “It opened up the door to talk about people that were really important parts of your lives.” Joan added, “I went from not being able to think about him … to the point where now I’m feeling so much better about it.”

The Golden Bachelorette premieres Wednesday, September 18, at 8/7c on ABC.
