Our Predictions For Below Deck Season 11

Below Deck Season 11 has just started airing, and yet, we can already sense that rough waters lie ahead. Luckily, we have three known faces joining us out at sea this season. While we will miss Captain Lee Rosbach, we are thankful to have Below Deck Adventure’s former lead, Captain Kerry Titheradge. We are also pretty excited to welcome back Fraser Olender and even Ben Willoughby, for now.

Luckily for Fraser, his interior department is solid. I mean, Cat Baugh is slow, but we’ll give her a beat to settle in before making our snap judgements. Even though Cat’s forecast is currently a tad hazy, we have other bets that we actually feel pretty strongly about. Keep reading to see if you agree with our predictions for Below Deck Season 11.

Captain Kerry Titheradge Will Knock It Out of the Park

Below Deck/Instagram

So far, Captain Kerry is doing an excellent job in Captain Lee’s former wheelhouse. He runs a tight ship, as we saw in the first episode. Prior to the guests coming on board, we watched as Captain Kerry checked both the exterior and the interior’s work, dolling out notes as he saw fit. He then sat down in the crew’s mess, sharing a meal with his new team.

We love that he was hands-on, and that he integrated himself so well with his crew. Overall, we predict that Captain Kerry will knock his first season on Bravo‘s flagship Below Deck series out of the park. Or better yet, out of the water.

Jared Woodin Will Get Fired

Below Deck/Instagram

Jared Woodin is the Bosun this season, but he’s not lasting long. He just presents as someone who is in over their head, but we will give him some benefit of the doubt for the error that’s already occurred on his deck, as Ben failed to convey how many shackles Captain Kerry wanted dropped. That said, Jared’s Instagram features zero signs of life on this series. Our sussiest clue on this matter though is that his bio is missing on Bravo’s website.

Jared will be out shortly. This is the one prediction that we will go ahead and stake our lives on.

Ben Willoughby Will Be Promoted to Bosun

Ben Willoughby/Instagram

When not filming for Below Deck, Ben gained experience as a Bosun on other vessels. Now that he’s back for another season on-air, Ben’s already acting annoyed with his new boss, Jared. Yet, if you ask us, Ben failed to relay the shackles information on purpose. Basically, we think that Ben is gunning for Jared’s job.

If you ask us right now, we’d say that Ben is going to get his much-desired promotion. He’ll be the new Bosun after Jared departs.

Ben Willoughby Will Also Be Problematic

Below Deck/Instagram

The trailer for this season adds another element of shadiness to Ben’s showing this year. This lover of the ladies appears to start trouble within Fraser’s team. On this, we heard Fraser saying, “Please don’t get involved in interior drama,” after we saw a clip of Ben sitting down to relay gossip about Cat to another one of Fraser’s stews.

Likewise, we also saw Fraser saying “f*ck you” to Ben in another future scene, which definitely means that this boat is going to be rocking and that our little returning Geico caveman will likely be problematic af.

More Than One Stew Will Get Fired

Boujee Bravo Bitches/Instagram

We had high hopes for Fraser’s interior team this season. And then, we watched Ben pop off on Fraser in the trailer, saying that Fraser’s “had way more people let go.” We already know that the deck team is likely losing Jared. This means that the interior department will need to lose two stews or more to make Ben’s statement accurate.

Out of Cat, Xandi Olivier, and Barbie Pascual, Cat likely leaves first. Out of the two who remain, we predict that Barbie will be walking the plank next, as the trailers have shown that she and Fraser will be butting heads fairly often.

Chef Anthony Iracane Will (Hopefully) Pull It Together

Chef Anthony Iracane/Instagram

Chef Anthony Iracane put out some beautiful plates. Can we talk about that Lobster Pad Thai? The problem is that he had zero help in the galley, and that, combined with his lack of experience working on yachts, meant that his timing during the first charter was completely off. Can we please get a stew or a deckie down there to help this man wash his dishes, or even to help him prep, as we’ve seen on other Below Deck seasons?

Since we know Anthony has the talent required, we predict that if he can get his timing corrected quickly, he will (hopefully) be able to make it through an entire season onboard.

Fraser Olender Will Bring the Needed Commentary

Fraser Olender/Instagram

Fraser reminds us of Kate Chastain, in so many ways. This makes him the perfect replacement for Kate. Seriously, his wit and snark throughout each charter makes this series so fun to watch. Just like Kate, he says what we all are (mostly) thinking at home. We predict that once again, Fraser’s running commentary will bring the needed laughs throughout each dramatic encounter this season on Below Deck.

He’s also so cute, but if anyone shows this to my husband, then nope, I didn’t write this.

Questions We Have Going Into Summer House Season 8

Summer House Season 8
(Photo by: Felix Kunze/Bravo via Getty Images)

Season 8 of Summer House will premiere on Bravo on Thursday, February 22. The upcoming season may be the most anticipated to date, considering it’s coming on the heels of Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard‘s shocking breakup. Several cast members have teased that fans will have more answers about the breakup when the season airs. We have a lot of questions going into Summer House Season 8, so let’s unpack them together.

What Really Happened With Carl and Lindsay?

(Bravo/YouTube)

What happened with Carl and Lindsay is the number one question on fans’ minds. Although the two have spoken about their breakup in the press, their stories differ. We’re unsure whose story is more credible at this point and we’re hoping Season 8 will provide us more clarity on what led to their downfall.

Linsay has been open about feeling “blindsided” by the split. She appeared on an episode of The Viall Files in November, where she said her ex humiliated her by breaking up with her in front of cameras.

The teaser trailer, released earlier this month, showed a different story. The three-minute video included audio of the former couple fighting and a clip of a minister telling Carl he wouldn’t marry him and Lindsay.

Kyle Cooke also shared his thoughts on the split in an interview with E! News in October. The Loverboy founder told the outlet that Lindsay and Carl have had problems for a while.

“It’s no secret that they’ve been in constant couple’s therapy ever since they basically started dating,” he told the outlet. “From my perspective, there were times where I was like, man, it’s almost like the only time they could communicate on any given week was in therapy. It’s almost like they couldn’t even communicate anymore without a third party,” he added. Yikes.

There seems to be a few contradicting narratives out there, so we’ll have to see how things shake out in Season 8.

Who Is Newcomer West Wilson?

(West Wilson/Instagram)

West Wilson is the newest addition to the Summer House. West is a 28-year-old sports journalist who was recently laid off due to staff changes. According to his Instagram, West splits his time between New York and Miami. West is single so he will bring some fun to the house.

The newcomer seems like a total catch. However, according to Bravo.com, he struggles with commitment. Hmm. We also saw him asking Kyle if he had to “only hit on the single girls” in the trailer, so he could definitely cause some trouble this season. We’re curious to learn more about West.

What’s Going on With Kyle & Amanda?

(Photo by: Eugene Gologursky/Bravo via Getty Images)

Kyle and Amanda Batula always have drama and it looks like this season won’t be any different. In the teaser trailer, we saw the couple fighting quite a bit. At one point, Ciara Miller told Amanda she doesn’t think she has an identity outside of Kyle. Ouch.

Could this be the end for Kyle and Amanda? We doubt it, but we still have many questions about what led to all the fights we saw in the trailer.

Are Paige And Craig Any Closer to Compromising?

We love Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover together but they can’t do long distance forever. In the past, we’ve seen the two struggle to combine their lives. Craig’s life is in South Carolina and Paige’s life is in New York. The Giggly Squad host has said she would be okay moving down south eventually, but the thought alone seems to drive her to tears, so we’re not so sure about that.

In the trailer, we see Paige yelling, “You can’t compromise on anything.” We’re assuming the statement was directed at her boyfriend because the camera showed a close-up of Craig right after. However, production could be purposely misleading us to think the couple is in trouble. We’re super curious to see if the two come to a resolution this season and take a step forward in their relationship.

Why Monica Garcia Is the Best One-Season Wonder Housewife

Monica Garcia RHOSLC

Fans had high hopes when Monica Garcia joined the cast of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City for Season 4. She was funny, relatable, and didn’t shy away from drama. Viewers fully expected to see the brunette beauty next season. However, Monica’s RHOSLC reign came crashing down in the finale when Heather Gay revealed that the newbie was the mastermind behind the Instagram troll account Reality Von Tease. The Instagram page was responsible for spreading rumors about the cast and their families. Once the group turned on Monica, her days on the show were numbered.

After filming the reunion, the newcomer was let go from the network, joining a select group of women who were given the boot after one season as a Real Housewives cast member. Monica certainly sticks out compared to the other one-season wonder housewives. She wasn’t let go because she was boring or lacked a compelling storyline—quite the opposite.

While she may be controversial, she made great TV. Here are all the reasons Monica is the best one-season wonder housewife.

Monica Fit In With the Group

(Photo by: Brett Colvin/Bravo via Getty Images)

To thrive on Real Housewives, you have to click with the ladies. There are feuds, of course, but you must gel with at least one cast member to survive. Prior to the finale, Monica had successfully integrated herself into the group. The ladies even planned a girls’ trip to celebrate her birthday. She was starting to become a part of the group. Lisa Barlow was never a fan, but she won over some of the women.

Unlike other one-season wonders like Cindy Bishop and Quinn Fry, her introduction to the show didn’t feel forced. Monica felt like a natural addition. She knew Jen Shah and Angie Katsanevas, which certainly helped her relate to the other women. And most importantly, she tried. She tried to create a space for herself within the group. Not all newbies can say that.

Monica Had a Compelling Backstory

Monica may be sneaky, but she’s not boring. The RHOSLC star showed up on day one and revealed she was a government witness in Jen’s case and shared she had a months-long affair with her brother-in-law. Woah. Bravo fans love mess and Monica was ready to give it to them.

The Utah native also opened up about her complicated relationship with her mother, Linda Darnell. Monica and Linda’s dynamic wasn’t like anything else we’ve seen on Real Housewives. While at times hard to watch, fans appreciated her openness in sharing a difficult part of her life.

Monic Brought the Drama

(Photo by: Fred Hayes/Bravo via Getty Images)

Oftentimes, newcomers will take a backseat rather than involve themselves in drama, but that was not the case with Monica. She was all about the drama. There was never a dull moment, from her blowup fight with Angie at Greek Easter to wreaking havoc at Heather’s book celebration.

Most one-season wonders don’t have iconic moments, but Monica had multiple despite only being on a one-season. That’s an impressive feat.

Monica Had Great Confessionals

(Photo by: Meredith Andrews/Bravo via Getty Images)

Monica was the queen of confessionals in Season 4. She always had something shady to say about the women, from dissing her co-star’s fashion faux-pas to revealing Jen never had anything good to say about Heather.

For someone who hadn’t been on reality TV before, Monica was a natural in front of the camera, and her confessionals were extremely entertaining. You don’t have to kill it in the confessionals to be a compelling Housewife, but it certainly helps.

Monica Made RHOSLC Season 4 Iconic

(Photo by: Meredith Andrews/Bravo via Getty Images)

The RHOSLC Season 4 finale is the most talked about Bravo moment of 2024. Heather dropping the bomb about Reality Von Tease went mega viral on social media and inspired countless jokes and memes. You have to be living under a rock to not know about, “Receipts, proof, timeline, screenshots!” While Heather is the one who delivered the iconic speech, there would be no Reality Von Tease without Monica.

Monica being unmasked as an internet troll has to be one of the most outrageous storylines in the show’s history—and there have been some crazy ones, so that is saying a lot. The whole story was so perfect that it’s hard to believe it wasn’t scripted. Love her or hate her, Monica helped create one of the best episodes in Housewives history. No other one-season wonder can say that.

Emily Simpson and Teddi Mellencamp Respond to James Kennedy Abuse Claims

The Two Ts In A Pod have expanded their podcast footprint, and their latest entry is called Popping Off with Teddi Mellencamp and Emily Simpson. It’s a Vanderpump Rules podcast. They’re only two episodes in, and they’re already getting messy. In their latest episode, they weighed in on the abuse claims levied against James Kennedy.

James recently catapulted himself into the coveted position of “number one guy in the group,” but allegations about James date back to his romance with Kristen Doute. The VPR alum cryptically hinted that his “dark” truths would come to the surface one day.

Meanwhile, Rachel Leviss has also shared various allegations about James. More recently, she suggested that Bravo rehired Kristen for The Valley to keep her from opening up about James’ alleged abuse. She compared Kristen’s casting on the new VPR spinoff to paying someone “hush money.” On the podcast, Emily and Teddi shared their thoughts.

Emily and Teddi’s hot take on James Kennedy “abuse”

In Pump Rules Season 9, Rachel returned her engagement ring to James during the reunion. She said she did it because it felt like the safest way to have that interaction. Emily and Teddi played the clip from that moment, and then they weighed in on the recurring allegations. Emily theorized that “where there’s smoke, there’s fire.”

“You can only have so many allegations all the time before there has to be some truth rooted in these,” Emily explained. “You can’t just have all these different accusations and they are all just fabricated.”

Teddi agreed, and she called out the rest of the cast for propping James up and elevating him as “the number one guy.” Why would the rest of the cast want to keep an alleged abuser in their midst?

Teddi explained, “When it comes to James and any of these physical abuse allegations when it comes to Kristen or Rachel … all of the women while filming Vanderpump Rules last season supported James.”

“I feel like this is all getting to a point where when you’re in tunnel vision you’re only talking about what is making good TV at that moment and not necessarily thinking of the other situations and not putting past history involved,” Teddi explained.

Meanwhile, on Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules, James has settled into his new position. He’s DJ’ing all over the country. He and his new girlfriend Ally Lewber seem as happy as ever. Still, these allegations of abuse continue to haunt him. Even if the current VPR cast doesn’t acknowledge it.

New episodes of Vanderpump Rules air on Bravo, Tuesday nights at 8/7c.

Love Is Blind Season 6 Trailer Sees ‘Messy’ and ‘Emotional’ Connections

Love is in the air, and drama is in the forecast because Love is Blind Season 6 is right around the corner and we’ve been gifted a second trailer! Netflix’s hit dating show is headed to Charlotte, North Carolina for the upcoming season, where a new batch of daters will have the opportunity of a lifetime to find their soulmate.

Netflix previously shared a trailer for Season 6 that teased a love triangle and a whole bunch of awkward connections. The latest trailer gave us a closer look at the cast and their journeys for love. Of course, it looks like there are going to be some tears shed, both the good kind and the bad kind.

Love Is Blind Season 6’s second trailer revealed

We’re six seasons into Love is Blind, but watching singles struggle to find love never gets old. It’s all fun and games until you’re engaged to someone you’ve never really hung out with in person. In the trailer for the upcoming season, we got a glimpse of how that plays out for some of the Season 6 daters.

“It is scary. This is the rest of my life,” one contestant emotionally admitted in the trailer.

Meanwhile, another person from the pods felt unsure if monogamy was even the right path for him. He told his partner, “I want this to work. It’s just the marriage thing. Can I just be with one person?”

Of course, in typical Love Is Blind fashion, some of the couples partner up but then struggle to actually get down the aisle. One of the daters named Amber “AD Desiree seemed to fall into that category. At the beginning of the trailer, she excitedly shared, “Being engaged is like a crazy feeling. I just want to relish in this moment.”

Then, by the end of the promo, her tone sounded a little less confident. Meekly, she admitted, “Time will tell if I’m bride-to-be or bride-to-be-not.”

This is the kind of mess we live for, so shout out to these daters for putting their love lives on the line for our entertainment.

Love Is Blind Season 6 premieres on Netflix on February 14th. So, if you didn’t already have Valentine’s Day plans, now you do.

Erin Lichy Thought RHONY Legacy Was ‘Cute,’ Denies Cast Mixing

Erin Lichy in The Real Housewives of New York City

There’s been a lot of chatter regarding casting for Bravo staples like The Real Housewives of Atlanta and The Real Housewives of New York. After RHONY’s successful season with their new cast, including Jenna LyonsSai De SilvaBrynn WhitfieldJessel TaankUbah Hassan, and Erin Lichy, fans are curious who among them would make it back to the party.

Will It be the same cast? Could the network bring back former Housewives from earlier seasons? Bravo hasn’t confirmed anything yet. However, Erin spoke briefly with Housewives Nightcap about the future of the show and shot down at least one rumor.

No chance of blending “cute” RHONY Legacy with the New Era, says Erin

Now that RHONY 14 and Legacy are off the air, fans are hopeful the next season of the flagship series could feature some familiar faces. But according to Erin, Sonja Morgan stans can let that dream go.

“I could tell you that we’re not joining forces with Legacy,” she said. “It’s not happening.”

Although the Manhatten native believes the idea of working with veteran Housewives on an explosive season “would be cool,” she noted it wouldn’t make sense for the audience.

“If it’s going to be us and them, it’s going to feel like two separate groups that are, like, almost battling each other,” she said before saying they “wouldn’t be woven [together].”

“I think they’ve had a show for so many years, and now we have a show. It just doesn’t make sense.”

Season 4 of The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, featuring popular former Housewives, including Ramona SingerDorinda Medley, and Luann de Lesseps, hit Peacock in December 2023. Want to know what Erin thought of her predecessors reliving their glory days in St. Barts?

“I thought it was cute, right?” she asked. “It was cute.”

The Traitors Season 2, Episode 7 Recap: Parvati vs. Peter

The Traitors Season 2, Episode 7 recap
Photo by: Euan Cherry/Peacock via Getty Images

Not every episode of a stellar TV show can be great, and it seems we ran into a bit of a dud with The Traitors Season 2, Episode 7. Don’t get me wrong, there were excellent moments, such as Shereé screaming for help while trapped, that’ll be etched in my memory forever. But not being fed a single elimination all episode meant that the game itself remained pretty stagnant. Still, it’s certainly worth a watch. Here’s everything that went down in The Traitors Season 2, Episode 7: “Blood on Their Hands.”

Did Peter accept the offer from the Traitors?

The Traitors Season 2, Episode 7

Peter decided to refuse the Traitors’ attempt at seduction. This means he will remain a Faithful in the game. “I wanna be a part of winning this the right way,” he said in confessional. That man is way too loyal to people. This is a completely different game to the one he thinks he’s playing. But in saying that, he is doing a great job at sniffing out the titular villains. And his alliance is made up of entirely Faithfuls.

Parvati and Phaedra, upon hearing of Peter’s refusal, are shook. Both are worried for Parv’s future in the game, and honestly, me too. I don’t see a way she can get to the end and win this. Nobody in their right mind is going to vote to end the game with Parvati still in it. She is, unfortunately, a dead woman walking.

At breakfast, when it becomes apparent no one has been murdered, talk turns to recruitment. “Raise your hand if you got a letter,” instructs Parvati. But Peter isn’t giving the info up. Not yet, anyway. Oddly, he then says Parvati must be Faithful, because he didn’t get murdered. Parv wants to wipe that “smug smile” from his face.

Peter gets dismissive

The Traitors Season 2, Episode 7 recap

Peter brings his group consisting of John, Bergie, Trishelle, and Peter into a room to tell them what happened last night. Phaedra goes in, but he quickly dismisses her. She runs that right back to the rest of the group, who are PISSED. MJ decides to try and enter the conversation with Peter, but gets the same treatment. So, Sandra forges out a plan. She thinks Peter is a Traitor, and lays out why one of his group needs to go if any of “The Leftovers” are to survive.

“I cannot wait for that smug smile to fall off of his lips when he gets banished,” Parvati says in confessional. She and the rest of “The Leftovers” agree he has to go. But little do they know, they’re not going to get that opportunity this time around…

A hilarious mission banks the group $8,000

The Traitors Season 2, Episode 7

With $25,000 on the line, the group had to split into pairs. They’d be racing into the words, carrying bags full of gold worth various amounts. They ranged from $500, all the way up to $10,000. It was a matter of trust, and apparently, the group trusted Peter and Trishelle to bring home the big bucks. Big mistake.

In the woods were questions that would either send them to the next part of the mission, or a trap. Peter was trapped immediately, as was Bergie. At the second question, MJ and Shereé also lost out, before Trishelle was trapped at the third question, alongside Kate, and Phaedra. Thankfully, the pairs John and Parvati, and Sandra and Kevin, made it all the way to the end of the challenge, banking $8,000.

As they were the fastest to complete the mission, Sandra and Kevin were also granted shields. This would keep them safe from murder. But Alan had another trick up his sleeve…

The Traitors Season 2, Episode 7 had no banishment, but a ceremony of trust

The Traitors Season 2, Episode 7 recap

After some chatter back at the castle, where Peter tried to do some digging with Parvati and Phaedra, but was basically told to go screw himself, Alan took the group out into the woods at the dead of night. There, he told them there would be no banishment tonight, but a murder would go ahead. The twist? Only five people would be up for said murder.

Sandra and Kevin were automatically safe, and could choose one person to save. That person would then choose another person to keep safe, and so on. Sandra and Kevin settled on Shereé, who picked her girl Phaedra following their 20+ year friendship. This was a super-emotional moment for Phaedra, and you’d be forgiven for shedding a tear at home!

Phaedra saved CT, which left MJ upset, but not quite as upset as Trishelle when CT decided to give John safety. John had the final choice of who to save, and much to Parvati’s dismay, he chose Peter. Damn it. The Bachelor was gonna last another day.

“If we’re playing the game it’s not about friends,” CT astutely pointed out. But Trishelle was still “hurt.” She claimed she would have saved CT if it was the other way around. But now, she’s up for murder.

Get it together, Ice Princess

The Traitors Season 2, Episode 7

Traitors Parvati and Phaedra met up in the Turret to discuss who they should murder. Trishelle was on the table, alongside Bergie, Kate, and MJ. Before reaching their decision, Phaedra had some advice.

“You’ve gotta stop acting like an Ice Princess,” she told Parvati. And she said she gave off some “mean girl” energy. Yikes. Parvati didn’t like that one bit, and in confessional, admitted she thought Phaedra would throw her under the bus in future.

“This is gonna be our first kill in a while,” Parv mused. And while she admitted their victim would increase the target on her own back, she went ahead with it anyway.

The Traitors Season 2 continues Thursdays at 9/8c on Peacock.
