Below Deck Season 11 Premiere Recap: Anchors Awry

Welcome to the Below Deck Season 11 premiere! In this week’s episode, called “New Capt, New Rules,” not only is there a new captain on board, but there’s a whole new crew. Captain Kerry takes over the helm and realizes he has a crew that needs whipping into shape. The new bosun makes an error that could have led to disaster (and he should have known better). And the new chef needs to pick up the pace. Here are some of the highlights from Below Deck Season 11, Episode 1.

There’s a new sheriff captain in town

The show opens with Captain Kerry piloting his own speedboat toward the yacht. “I was born for this life,” he tells us. “Adventure and danger for me is just another day … The easiest part of being a captain is driving the boat. The hard part’s the crew.”

Kerry’s worked on yachts all over the world, but this is his first time in Grenada. “Grenada’s a stunning location, but it’s very, very challenging. The winds are incredible. [There are] a lot of reefs in the area, many of them aren’t marked. It’ll slice you open like a tin can. This is not going to be a pleasure cruise, but I like it that way.”

Once everyone’s checked in, Captain Kerry calls a crew meeting in the Sky Lounge. At the top of his list is his crew’s physical safety and mental health. “But don’t take my kindness for weakness,” he adds. “I will f*ckin’ turn in a heartbeat if you start taking the piss.” In other words, Captain Kerry better not catch you messing around and not doing your job.

“You work hard, you’ll be rewarded,” he adds. “You f*ck around, you’re off the boat.” Seems fair. The first charter starts tomorrow, so it’s time to get the boat in order.

Preparing for the first charter

When provisions arrive on the dock, everyone helps carry the groceries into the galley. But Chef Anthony gets to put everything away. It’s a lot of work, and storage is spread all over the boat.

“Come on, Anthony,” he pep-talks himself. “Because we can, and if we can we f*ckin’ do.” He’s got to find places to store all the food, and then be able to remember where he put it. He’s running up and down the stairs to the below-deck storage. It’s kind of exhausting.

“In my restaurant in France,” he says, “it was, like, 18 employees. So I can just work, work, work, work, and be a chef and stay in the kitchen. As a yacht chef, you are the only one. You know? It’s all over the place. I gotta, like, run to the bottom, to the top, go back up to the galley … Maybe it’s not too late to run, Anthony.”

Meanwhile, Captain Kerry wants to be sure everything is perfect for the charter guests. So he makes a quick tour, alongside Jared and Fraser, to see how things are coming along. He even looks inside the toilets in the guest cabins to make sure they’re clean. That’s a pretty detailed inspection.

“I can’t run the entire boat by myself,” Kerry admits. “A good crew can make a bad captain look good. And a bad crew can make a good captain look bad.” In the end, he tells Fraser, “I’m very happy. I think the guests will be as well.”

Chain of fools

Once the guests are settled, it’s time to leave the dock. Reaching their anchorage, Captain Kerry tells Lead Deckhand Ben, “We’ll get the first shot [of the anchor chain] out fast. Then we’ll decide how much more we’re gonna put out.”

“Thanks, Cap,” Ben says and heads out the door. But apparently, he fails to convey this information to Bosun Jared who puts two and a half shots in the water.

When Jared tells the captain he’s dropped two and a half shots, Kerry swears, “Sh*t,” under his breath. He radios back, “I asked for one shot when I was talking with Ben … One shot, not two and a half.”

Jared radios back, “I apologize. I did not receive that transmission … I should have asked.”

“If I haven’t [told you how much chain to put out],” Kerry continues, “you need to ask me. Let’s start pulling up some chain. There’s too much chain out.”

But Ben tells Kyle a different story. “I was going to do the anchor,” he says. “But then, Jared comes down and he’s like, ‘I’m gonna go do the anchor.’ And now he’s blaming me.”

Meanwhile, Captain Kerry says, “I’m worried we just dumped everything on top of the anchor.” That could cause a problem if the anchor gets caught in the chain … [If] the boat moves back, it can dislodge the anchor. You drag that anchor, you hit the rocks, someone’ll get hurt. Thankfully, you can correct it … [But] it makes us look like amateur hour.”

Eventually Jared radios, “That’s one shot at the water line … straight up and down.”

The captain tells him, “All right, let’s lock it down there.” But Jared’s gonna hear more about this later, you can be sure. This conversation is not over.

Miscommunication corrected

While the guests are enjoying lunch, Jared and Ben are down in the laz recapping the anchor issue.

“I thought he was gonna tell me over the radio when I was dropping it,” Jared says, “how many shots, but…“

“Yeah, thanks for throwing me under the bus, though,” Ben responds.

“What do you mean?” Jared asks.

“When he said, ‘I told Ben one shot…”

“I didn’t hear that,” Jared says.

Ben reminds him that he said, “I didn’t get that info.”

“My bad, bro!” a shocked Jared answers. “I didn’t hear ‘Ben’ at all!”

In an interview, Ben clarifies, “I didn’t tell Jared to drop one shot. But if you’re ever on the bow, ready to drop the anchor, you check in with the bridge on how [much anchor to drop]. He should know that. Maybe he’s nervous, I’m trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. It’s Charter One. We’re just getting all the cobwebs out.”

Tears in the galley

“I’m really impressed by [Anthony’s] food,” Fraser interviews. “However, the galley looks like a bomb’s gone off!” Who’s gonna clean that up? In the end, he sends Cat to help Cheffie clean up.

While the guests are entertained, Captain Kerry decides to do another walk-through of the boat. Wow. People think Captain Sandy’s a micro-manager! This guy’s doing toilet inspections.

“Interior, interior,” he radios. “Can I have someone, please, down [in the] starboard aft cabin?” Uh oh. Did he find more smudges on the mirror?

Turns out somebody forgot to do the fancy fold on the toilet paper. But the rest is “quite pretty.” Whew! I was scared for them for a minute.

While Cat’s still trying to get the galley straightened up, Barbie is giving her little tasks and has her running up and down the stairs doing her bidding. Finally, Cat tells Barbie that Fraser told her to get this galley cleaned up for Chef, so she can’t help her right now.

Barbie says, “Fine,” and walks away. But then she does a very passive aggressive interview about how Cat’s “so slow … Pick it up, girl.”

Cat’s feeling the pressure and after Fraser tells her she can take a break, he finds her crying in the crew mess. “You okay?” he asks her. “What’s wrong, darling?”

She tells him she’s just feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, and he assures her she’s doing fine and there’s just a learning curve. He gives her a hug and tells her to enjoy her break. He says she should go up on the deck and get some air before going back to work.

Running back up the stairs, he mutters to himself, “She’s not gonna last.”

Dinner disaster

Below Deck Season 11 premiere
Photo: Bravo

Dinner is running late. The guests are at the table, but Chef’s still putting the finishing touches on his food.

“Maybe it’s because I am French,” he says. “It’s in my culture. But perfection [is] very important for me … It’s like with a woman, you need to take your time, you know? If you wanna make her happy, and so with food, I guess it’s the same.”

Fraser’s stressing. Dinner was scheduled for 8:00. It’s now 9:50 and the entrée has yet to be served. Captain Kerry is observing from the doorway of the galley. That’s got to be stressful.

“Welcome to Hell,” Anthony jokes.

Finally, the guests receive their main course at 10:22. A graphic on the screen tells us it’s been an hour and 22 minutes since the last course. This doesn’t bode well for Chef Anthony.

A little later, Captain Kerry is on the bridge listening to the radio chatter. Fraser is asking Chef if he can speed up the next course. Ben is asking if Jared has the list of things Kyle needs for tomorrow. Cat is asking Barbie for help, but Barbie puts her off.

Kerry admits he’s just getting to know everybody. “The jury’s still out, but I’ll change you out if you can’t do your job.” I’m sure he will.

Below Deck airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo.

The Bachelor Season 28, Episode 3 Recap: Mrs. Right, Crazy Tennis Tourney, and Girl Drama

Welcome to our recap for The Bachelor Season 28, Episode 3! In this week’s episode, nine women compete in the first-ever Mrs. Right Pageant on the first group date. One lucky lady gets to ride the waves with Joey Graziadei on the one-on-one date. On the second group date, eight women compete in the first-ever Bachelor Open. Last week, Joey had nine brides, but this week, he’s courtside at the craziest tennis tournament you’ve ever seen. Everyone is a good sport and has fun, so Joey calls it a success. Here are some of the highlights from The Bachelor Season 28, Episode 3.

Jesse explains it all

It’s a new day, and the ladies are looking forward to just spending some time with Joey. Jesse Palmer walks into the house. They must have had a heads up that he was coming because everybody was waiting expectantly on the living room couch. What’s up, Jesse?

“You are the 18 women who made it through the week,” he begins, “which means that you’re the women that Joey really can see a future with.” Oh, I doubt that, Jesse. They just can’t let him send them all home too early in the season. There’s a format he has to follow. I’m sure there are some duds in the group. He just has to carry some of them along for “entertainment.”

“This week there will be two really fun group dates,” Jesse adds, “and one very romantic one-on-one date.” All the ladies react with oohs and ahs.

With that, he whips the first group date card out of his back pocket and places it on the coffee table. Wishing them all the best, he makes his exit, while Jess hops up to rip open the card.

“Edwina, Kelsay A., Lexi, Allison, Madina, Chrissa, Lea, Sydney, Maria: I’m looking for my Mrs. Right. — Love, Joey.”

Looking for Mrs. Right

Meanwhile, Joey is waiting in a theater downtown for the women to arrive. “Mrs. Right just means the perfect person for me,” he says. “So today should be a good way to have some fun, and I’m hoping they can open up and be themselves … I am here to find my Mrs. Right, and I hope that I can be their Mr. Right.”

When Joey gathers the women on the stage, he tells them there are some more ladies “who wanted to be her and join us.” Some of the women look less than pleased about sharing Joey with even more girls. But when he calls them out from backstage, they turn out to be four of Gerry’s girls from The Golden Bachelor. It’s the “ASKN” ladies: April, Susan, Kathy and Nancy. “And if you’re askin’,” they say in unison, “we’re telling.” Cute.

These women are making a career out of having been on that show! Good for them. Get that paycheck!

“There is no better way to help [Joey] find Mrs. Right,” Kathy says, “than to have a pageant!” They have only one hour to rehearse before they have to perform in front of a live audience. The pressure’s on!

They will compete in three categories: the Lazy Sunday Fitwear, the Q&A, and the Talent Show. Oh, boy. Get ready for some questionable “talent.”

First-ever Bachelor Nation Mrs. Right Pageant

Jesse Palmer welcomes the audience to the first-ever Mrs. Right Pageant! The talent ranges from singing acapella (Edwina) to a gymnastics demonstration (Madina and Maria). But Sydney has been in pageants before and scoffs at their efforts. Let’s see what she’s got.

For her talent, Sydney does a cheer. She starts with, “L–O–V–E! Joey is the one for me!” and moves on to “Mrs. R–I–GH–T! Mrs. Right … That’s me!” It’s pretty weak, and the Golden Bachelor ladies exchange some looks. She gets some lackluster applause from the audience.

Next, Lexi claims to be the World’s Best Kisser and asks for Joey’s help to prove it. She asks for music and lays a big, sloppy kiss on Joey that lasts several seconds. Nobody wants to watch their boyfriend kiss someone else, and the other women are not amused.

And the winner of the Mrs. Right title is … Lexi! Joey decided she should win because she surprised him with that kiss.

Lea interviews that some of the other women think, “Lexi put less effort but got more reward.” Don’t discount sex appeal, Lea. Lexi just had a better idea, and Joey dug it. Sadly, it wasn’t enough to earn her the date rose. Kelsey gets to take that one home.

“Love is a wild ride”

The Bachelor Season 28, Episode 3 recap
Photo: Disney/John Fleenor

Jenn gets the one-on-one date. The next day, she and Joey walk into a surf shop. They’re going to pick out two wetsuits and two surfboards, and they’re going surfing! If he lived near the water, Joey thinks this is what every day would look like with his partner.

Joey has visions of him and Jenn in a bus with surfboards on top and a couple of kids in the back. He gives her a surf lesson. Though she’s never quite able to stand up on the board, she does have a lot of fun and thinks she’s conquered her fear of the ocean.

Later, Joey and Jenn walk into the Hollywood Forever Funeral Home. Is that where they’re having dinner? That’s a little creepy.

When they sit down at their table, Joey confesses that he felt some butterflies today. Jenn agrees that she did, too. He’s excited to learn more tonight, and she hints that there’s “a lot that you don’t know yet.”

Because of the way she grew up, Jenn felt unlovable and that she would never find someone. Her parents fought a lot when she was growing up, and Jenn was left to take care of herself. She and her dad have no relationship. But seeing what a good person Joey is, she realizes what she’s been missing in her life, and she feels ready for a relationship now.

Joey asks Jenn to “Come with me,” picks up the rose and they walk outside. Suddenly there are light-up drones in the sky. They make sparkly designs and then spell out words. “Today has been … a dream. Jenn, will you … accept this rose?” And of course, she says yes.

The Bachelor Open

Photo: Disney/Stephanie Augello

Back at the house, the group date card arrives. “Katelyn, Autumn, Rachel, Daisy, Evalin, Kelsey T., Starr, Jess: I’m done playing singles. – Love, Joey.”

Joey’s been playing tennis since he was 13 years old. It’s what he does for a living, so he’s really excited to share his passion with the women today. Everybody’s warming up when Jesse Palmer rocks up with his air horn. Uh oh. I have a feeling Jesse is here to make an announcement.

“I didn’t just come by here today to watch you all train,” he says. “How do y’all feel about a little head-to-head competition? Ladies, there’s something that I [forgot] to mention. Let’s just say, you’re gonna find out once you go to the changing rooms.”

Jesse welcomes everyone to the first-ever Bachelor Open. But this isn’t your average tennis tournament. Autumn and Daisy come out dressed as babies, in giant onesies wearing bonnets and waving their baby bottles. They’re wearing bibs that say “Cry Babies.”

Starr and Rachel are “Hot Dog and Bun.” “We’re gonna ‘mustard’ all the confidence, but these ladies better ‘ketchup,’” they say. Ouch.

Katelyn and Jess are “The Beehive.” Jess is a bee, and Katelyn is the hive. Katelyn says they’re about to “buzz all over this court.”

Kelsey and Evalin are “Lobster and Butter.” They promise, “The claws are coming out!”

And the winners of the Bachelor Open are Lobster and Butter. That was the silliest tennis tournament ever, but everybody had fun, and that’s exactly what Joey wanted.

“This is probably the best date ever,” Joey says. “I’m so happy with how everyone fully leaned into it and had a great time. What more could you ask for?”

The After Party

The Bachelor Season 28, Episode 3
Photo: Disney/John Fleenor

Sitting around a fire pit, everyone says they had so much fun at the tennis tournament today. It was all fun, no drama! In a voiceover, Joey admits that he’s “starting to have real feelings about these women … It just keeps getting better and better.”

When Rachel comes for some one-on-one time, she goes in for a hug and one of her earrings gets caught on his sweater. One of the crew has to come and separate her earring from Joey’s sweater. Rachel tells Joey that he reminds her of the good qualities in her dad, and Joey says it just makes him “feel so special.”

In the end, Joey gives the date rose to Katelyn.

“Mean Girl” drama

The Bachelor Season 28, Episode 3 recap
Photo: Disney/John Fleenor

Back at the house, Sydney and Lea are talking about the “Mean Girl” (Maria). Sydney thinks that Maria is “intimidated by me ’cause I’m the only one who stuck up for Madina.” This is unnecessary drama. Didn’t Maria and Madina already make up? Apparently, they forgot to tell Sydney.

“I don’t like Maria,” Sydney says in an interview. “And unfortunately, I’m associated with this drama, but, like, I am not the drama. I am not the person that’s the mean girl.” Yes, you are absolutely the drama, girl, and it’s not a good look.

Even though she says she’s “not one to tattle,” Sydney decides to do just that. She’s going to tell Joey that Maria’s a Mean Girl. And I think it’s gonna blow up in her face.

Worst pool party ever

Photo: Disney/Gizelle Hernandez

Everyone’s looking forward to the cocktail party tonight … until Jesse shows up. Guess what?

“Joey doesn’t want to have a cocktail party tonight,” Jesse announces, as smiles disappear. “He just can’t wait to see you all … so we’re having a pool party!”

Rather than having a barbecue, ABC squeezes in a little product placement when Jesse announces that they’re having KFC! Who doesn’t love a little sodium-infused, greasy fried food? They even have Colonel Sanders floaties in the pool!

But Sydney’s on a mission to get the Mean Girl sent home. Why doesn’t Madina tell her they already made their peace? Let’s watch while Sydney self-destructs.

Joey and Sydney sit down to talk. She tells him that after his talk about bullying the other night, Maria immediately started attacking Madina. When she told Maria to back off, Sydney became Maria’s target. Joey’s not happy to hear this.

“She verbally attacked me,” Sydney claims. “She called me embarrassing, weird, and dumb.”

Joey’s shocked and upset. He thanks Sydney for sharing this information and has no reason not to believe her. So, he goes to find Maria.

In the meantime, the other ladies are feeling the tension between Sydney and Maria. “This is the worst pool party I’ve ever been to,” Rachel sighs.

When Joey asks Maria to explain, she says she’s been bullied and would never want to treat someone else that way. Her feelings are hurt. Joey can see that she’s hurt and confused, which makes him question Sydney’s story. He really didn’t foresee the girl drama. I think Joey needs to talk to some of the other girls and get some clarification.

The Rose Ceremony

Here comes Jesse with his clinky Champagne Glass of Doom. The pool party that never was is over. There were no chicken fights. Nobody even went in the pool. Thanks, Sydney. Joey needs time to think before tonight’s Rose Ceremony.

Going into the rose ceremony, most of the women are upset that they haven’t had time with Joey. Sydney’s made-up drama with Maria disrupted everybody’s day.

Nevertheless, roses go to Lexi, Lea, Kelsey T., Rachel, Madina, Daisy, Jess, Edwina, Autumn, Allison, Maria, and (the Final Rose Tonight) Sydney. Ugh. I had hoped he’d send her home. She’s too much with her “poor little victimized me” act.

“Coming into next week, I’m going to put my energy into what matters,” Sydney interviews. “I’m not going to let the Mean Girl win. It has to be done, and I’m the only one that isn’t afraid of her.”

Next week, not only do we have two two-hour episodes of this show on Monday and Tuesday (Bachelor overload incoming), but there will be a two-on-one date starring Sydney and Maria. Who will be sent home?

Be sure to stick around for the final scene of Jesse Palmer floating in the pool and eating chicken, while he practices his lines. “Ladies, it’s the final rose tonight,” he says. “Why do I even have to say that? Everybody can see there’s only one rose left.” Perfect!

See you next week!

The Bachelor Season 28 airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.

The Valley Bios Offer Insight Into Bravo Newbies Jason and Janet Caperna

Look out world, we got some new Bravolebrities coming in hot! Bravo recently announced the Vanderpump Rules spinoff The Valley, starring ex-Pump Rules stars Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute. While we’re excited to see some familiar faces, we have to take a minute to meet some of the newbies, Jason and Janet Caperna. Who are they, and how did they wind up on Bravo?

Meet Janet and Jason

According to Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Janet is the one who has the connection to the VPR cast. She’s been friends with the VPR crew for years and used to live in West Hollywood.

If you’re a hardcore Pump Rules fan, you might recognize Janet as the former co-host of Scheana Shay’s podcast Scheananigans. She used to go by Janet Elizabeth. The two of them fell out and there were rumors that she was joining Vanderpump Rules Season 8. Obviously, that never happened, but she remained close to the cast.

Janet is married to Jason, and the two of them tied the knot in 2022 in a super lowkey ceremony. She said they went to a place with a neon sign and paid $180 to make things official.

“I had the huge wedding the first time with like a 300-something guest list,” Janet said. “With Jason … I was like, ‘We can go to the courthouse. We can do like a little backyard thing, whatever.'”

Last year, Janet and Jason welcomed their first child. The Valley Season 1 promises to show them navigating their lives as first-time parents.

Career-wise, Jason is a lawyer, and Janet has recently stepped into her new role as a stay-at-home mom. She used to be an executive assistant but is taking time away from her career to focus on motherhood and, of course, focus on being a reality TV star.

We’ll get to meet the Capernas and learn even more about them when The Valley premieres on Bravo in Spring 2024.

Erika Jayne Featured in Trailer for The Housewife and The Hustler 2: The Reckoning

Erika Jayne in the Housewife and the Hustler 2
Photo Credit: ABC News via YouTube

On Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, we’ve been watching Erika Jayne desperately try to force herself into a redemption arc. Every week, she says in her tagline, “The best part about losing everything is getting it all back.”

In real life, Erika is far from redemption and even farther from getting it all back. Remember Hulu’s shocking documentary, The Housewife and The Hustler? It’s getting a sequel. ABC News Studios and L.A. Times Studios just announced The Housewife and The Hustler 2: The Reckoning, and it looks like Erika is back in the hot seat for her involvement in Tom Girardi’s allegedly fraudulent lifestyle. You can check out the trailer below.

This story isn’t over

At this point, it probably seems like we’ve heard everything there is to hear about Tom’s supposed crimes. However, this new documentary seeks to continue the investigation. It promises to give light to untold stories of how Tom’s allegedly fraudulent behavior impacted everyone around him. It also aims to answer the lingering question we all have: what did Erika know?

Shockingly, the documentary will also show Erika meeting with some of Tom’s alleged victims for the first time. In the trailer, we get a glimpse of the awkward sit-down. Our fingers are crossed that Erika might show an ounce of sympathy or accountability in this documentary. The teaser doesn’t leave us with much hope.

In the clip, a victim asked, “Erika, why did it take you so long?” Erika simply replied, “I was never asked to do this. Nobody was really interested in my side of the story.”

In the past, Erika’s attitude has been cavalier regarding the alleged victims of Tom’s alleged crimes. It will be interesting to see how coming face-to-face with them impacts her behavior moving forward. Also, how will the RHOBH ladies react to seeing Erika take this step?

The Housewife and The Hustler 2: The Reckoning drops on Hulu on Monday, February 12. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Bravo, Wednesday nights at 8/7c.

Brynn Whitfield Filming RHONY Season 15, Freezing Her Eggs

It’s hard to believe that The Real Housewives of New York Season 15 is right around the corner. Season 14 wrapped up in October 2023, with Brynn Whitfield and the rest of the gang being absent from screens ever since.

In truth, it feels like only yesterday that Bravo announced their plans to reboot RHONY completely with an all-new cast. It was an unprecedented move but one that paid off in the end.

Fans may still be partially divided on which Housewives deserve to return for Season 15, but at this point, they should be happy to receive any confirmations, good or bad. And Brynn, on top of giving a life update, just released some important news.

What Brynn’s been up to between Seasons 14 and 15?

Brynn Whitfield on Instagram

In a recent Q&A on Instagram, Brynn urged fans to ask her “a question about egg freezing!” One fan asked, “Are you going to do another round?” Brynn replied, “Yes! I think late summer / whenever we wrap filming season 15.” She further wrote, “I’m so thankful I got 15 eggs, but for peace of mind I would love to have 25-30.”

She also added, “My dream is to have 2 kids minimum, ideally 3. And because you can’t know the quality of eggs until you use them i.e., create an embryo, I think more eggs would give me peace of mind…” So, there’s a little insight into what Brynn’s been up to since Season 14’s end. On top of that, many were glad to know Brynn would be returning for Season 15.

Several RHONY fans took to Reddit to discuss Brynn’s return and speculate on who else would make it into the Season 15 cast. “Wonder who else has already signed their contract,” one user wrote. Another expressed, “holding out hope that it’s true that they are combining old and new RHONY.”

Jax Taylor’s Worst Seasons of Vanderpump Rules

(Photo by: Charles Sykes/Bravo via Getty Images)

Jax Taylor was the self-appointed #1 guy in the group on Vanderpump Rules from Seasons 1-8. During Seasons 9-10, Jax was a no-show. On Instagram, he posted (and then deleted) a statement, expressing how it was time for him to move on. Yet we all knew the truth back then; Jax was canned by Bravo.

Wildly, Jax will reappear in Season 11. Apparently, he filmed alongside Tom Sandoval. Maybe these scenes will shock us all. Perhaps we will finally see a mature Jax who is a solid friend for the underdogs, which Tom currently is on VPR.

We aren’t holding our breath on this though. You see, for years, Jax wasn’t a great human. He lied, cheated, stole, and raged against everyone who tried to hold him accountable. While he did make us laugh, his antics were often dark and over the top, especially during the following seasons on Vanderpump Rules.

And no, we didn’t rank these in any particular order, because they’re all equally rough.

Season 1 – A Birthday, a Brawl, and an AA Dump

Peacock/Instagram

When Season 1 aired, Jax was dating Stassi Schroeder. Yet, he cheated on her so often that, at one point, she ditched him for a guy named Frank Herlihy. Therefore, when Stassi’s birthday rolled around, she uninvited Jax and brought along Frank instead. Unphazed by a woman’s boundaries, Jax pulled up to Vegas anyway, shocking his VPR castmates in turn.

When he arrived, all hell broke loose. At first, Frank called Jax out for treating Stassi poorly, and Jax’s words back sucked. “Keep it. Go. Taste mine. Go taste it,” he yelled, inferring that Stassi was his discarded property, and so Frank was now getting his used goods. Ew.

Then, the two little boys went outside to the parking lot, where they ripped off their shirts and fought. Finally, in the Season 1 finale, Jax admitted that he did in fact cheat on Stassi during a different Vegas trip, which resulted in the woman actually getting pregnant with his child.

Have no fear for single Jax though, because he went on to date Laura-Leigh, who was struggling with addiction. One of Laura-Leigh’s dates with Jax involved him accompanying her to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting. Shockingly, Jax dumped her shortly after, because he couldn’t handle this level of baggage, which, pot, black, etc. Season 1 of Vanderpump Rules basically solidified the fact that Jax wasn’t ever going to be the nice guy within this cast.

Season 2 – A Doute and a Jail Cell

Bravo/YouTube

Jax and Stassi were still weirdly hanging out in Season 2 until the rumors surfaced that Jax had cheated on her with her best friend, Kristen Doute. When the truth surfaced, revealing that they banged, Stassi backhanded her friend while the guys grossly supported each other. Ugh.

In an unexplainable nod, Jax also disappeared for a few days, and when he materialized, he said that he’d been in jail. His detail given was that he had to trade a loaf of bread for toilet paper in the clink. At the reunion, Stassi expressed her thoughts on this all being a lie. In turn, the fans theorized that during his absence, he was actually holed up at Kristen’s.

Overall, Season 2 was another bust for our boy Jax.

Season 6 – Cheating on His Kentucky Muffin

Bravo/YouTube

By the time that Season 6 rolled around, Brittany Cartwright and Jax were an item. Even still, Jax cheated. Faith Stowers was his partner this time, and on-air, it was alleged that their tryst happened with a 95-year-old woman nearby. This was a woman that Faith was taking care of, but Faith has denied parts of this claim since with People.

“I didn’t sleep with him in front of nobody… I guess my take on it is that I slept with someone without doing my research. You know, he told me one thing, it was another thing,” Faith said.

Making matters worse, the women banded together and called Jax, with Brittany demanding to know how many times Jax had slept with Faith. When she wouldn’t accept his BS, he raged, yelling things like “don’t do that to me,” and “shut up,” right before she dumped his ass. Truly, Jax’s behaviors towards the supposed love of his life sucked during Season 6.

Season 8 – The Wedding Groomzilla

Bravo/YouTube

Brittany took Jack back, and in Season 8 their wedding, which stretched out over far too many episodes, occurred. This season, Jax’s behaviors intensified, but no one called him out, which was hard to watch. Pasta will do that to a man…

To recap, Jax told Sandoval that Ariana Madix was “being a bitch.” Then, Jax blew up at the annual SUR photoshoot simply because Lisa Vanderpump had the audacity to comment on his tardiness. He also failed to show up for the cast’s beach clean-up day and lost his mind when he was challenged on why he didn’t attend.

Also, the pastor that they had chosen for their wedding ceremony held very conservative views, so when Sandoval questioned Jax on why he’d picked someone who wasn’t LGBTQ+ friendly, Brittany jumped in, yelling for Jax to knock out Sandoval. Almost everyone breathed a sigh of relief when these two were canceled after this season.

Online, though, the spiraling continued. Jax went on his Instagram Lives, spewing nonsense about how Brittany thought that he was cheating, alongside his intense love for the gym and his distaste for the fans’ opinions. Now, only one question remains. Have Jax and Britt matured, or will their new spin-off, The Valley, become a similarly disastrous series to watch?

The Top 10 Priciest Real Housewives on Cameo

(Photo by: Charles Sykes/Bravo via Getty Images)

If you need a gift idea for a Real Housewives fan, we’ve got you covered. Over on Cameo, many of these personalities are hawking personalized videos, which you can purchase for your loved ones. Or yourself. That said, several of these Bravo stars aren’t cheap.

If you want a bigger name, then get ready to spend an arm and Aviva Drescher’s leg. If you’re curious about just how high these prices can go, you aren’t alone. We were, too. Here are our findings, which list the top ten priciest Real Housewives on Cameo.

10) Margaret Josephs and Joe Benigno – $199

Margaret Josephs and Joe Josephs
Margaret and Joe/Cameo

Margaret Josephs and her husband Joe Benigno are a package deal on Cameo. These two Real Housewives of New Jersey stars are newer, charging $199 per personalized video. They have no reviews, but they do have a decent average video length of 1:45. Despite being newbs, this pair charges a lot, so they are in spot number 10 on our list of the highest priced Real Housewives on Cameo.

9) Danielle Staub – $199

Danielle Staub
Danielle Staub/Cameo

If you are missing Danielle Staub’s messy energy, then you’re in luck. This former RHONJ star is on Cameo, ready to make all of your dreams come true. For $199, Danielle will create a personalized video for your chosen recipient. With 21 perfect reviews underneath her (likely) fashionable belt, Danielle’s poised at spot number 9 on our list of highest priced Real Housewives on Cameo.

8) Cynthia Bailey – $199

Cynthia Bailey
Cynthia Bailey/Cameo

Cynthia Bailey formerly starred on Real Housewives of Atlanta, yet currently, she is popping up over on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, in a limited capacity. As for Cynthia’s Cameo game, she charges $199 for each personalized video made. Cynthia’s videos are perfectly rated, with 66 reviews, which has helped to boost her ranking here. This places Cynthia at number 8 on our list of priciest Real Housewives on Cameo.

7) Karen Huger – $200

Karen Huger
Karen Huger/Cameo

Karen Huger brings the shade over on Real Housewives of Potomac. For $200 a pop, she will also bring her signature humor and wit to a living room near you. Karen’s services are not rated perfectly, but her only review that brought this score down didn’t offer anything negative. It simply just gave thanks to Karen, because really, some people are impossible to fully please, ammiright?

Even still, the Grande Dame comes in at spot number 7 on our list of priciest Real Housewives on Cameo.

6) Shereé Whitfield – $250

Shereé Whitfield
Shereé Whitfield/Cameo

Shereé Whitfield is not only drawing a paycheck from RHOA, but she’s also earning $250 each time someone books a personalized video from her on Cameo. Unfortunately, Shereé has 2 out of 9 reviews that are low. “My name was mispronounced despite writing it out phonetically so I didn’t end up using it” was the reasoning for one, while “it was for my partner and not my friend” read another.

Shoot your shot, if you still want, on Shereé, who is wearing her joggers in spot number 6 on our priciest Real Housewives of Cameo list.

5) Dorit Kemsley – $250

Dorit Kemsley
Dorit Kemsley/Cameo

RHOBH star Dorit Kemsley has prices in the high range over on Cameo. For $250, Dorit will send a personalized, wordy video to anyone, anywhere. Luckily for Dorit, she has 13 perfect reviews, so if you can afford her, it’s likely she’ll produce a hit. Overall, Dorit is holding it down in spot number 5, here on our list of priciest Real Housewives on Cameo.

4) Teresa Giudice – $250

Teresa Giudice
Teresa Giudice/Cameo

While RHONJ’s resident table-flipper Teresa Giudice similarly charges a $250 price tag for her personalized videos, she has 373 reviews, so her rank gets a bit of a boost. That said, her review section has several low marks, including many with only 1-star. From mispronouncing names, which let’s be honest, tracks, to reading directly from the scripts several buyers sent, there’s no guarantee that your money tossed will be worth it. Even still, Teresa is expensive, and is at spot number 4 on our list of priciest Real Housewives on Cameo.

3) Marlo Hampton – $500

Marlo Hampton
Marlo Hampton/Cameo

Marlo Hampton is another RHOA star with high Cameo prices, charging $500 per personalized video sent. Out of her 15 reviews, all are perfect, sans one. “Hey Marlo—I guess the instructions weren’t clear because we really need YOU to show that screenshot on your phone. You read out ‘show the screenshot’ where we need you to do it,” it reads.

Oopsies. As the rest of her reviews are solid, we know that Marlo can deliver. We also know that Marlo won’t do so for cheap, as she is all the way up at number 3 on our our list of priciest Real Housewives over on Cameo.

2) Nene Leakes – $600

Nene Leakes
Nene Leakes/Cameo

NeNe Leakes no longer stars on RHOA, but she’s still iconic. In turn, Nene charges $600 per personalized video on Cameo. Basically, Nene knows that her fans will pay for her commentary and her wit, and she’s even more “rich, b*tch” because of this very fact.

Truly, NeNe is a Real Housewives star to consider booking, but, as she’s at number 2 on our list of priciest Real Housewives, you’ll need to get ready to spend some serious dough for her Cameo.

1) Kenya Moore – $1,000

Kenya Moore
Kenya Moore/Cameo

Kenya Moore is twirling all the way to the bank. Seriously, she’s charging $1,000 every time a personalized video of her is ordered on Cameo. We can’t hate Kenya’s hustle. If she ever gets kicked to the curb following an RHOA series reboot, Kenya can remain “gone with the wind fabulous,” as she is the highest-priced Real Housewives star over on Cameo, for now.

Crystal Kung Minkoff Feeling ‘Very Good’ About Dorit Kemsley Shade

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 might just be Crystal Kung Minkoff’s season thanks to her newfound beef with Dorit Kemsley. On top of that, Crystal’s amped up the heat on fans’ least favorite newbie, Annemarie Wiley.

For those not in the loop, Crystal got fired up when Dorit referred to her as a “child bride,” despite being married at 24. True, her husband was about 20 years older than her, but Crystal was by no means a child bride. So, Crystal took to Instagram to clap back, comparing the strength of her marriage to Dorit’s.

From there, without Dorit having to make a move in response, Crystal also shaded Dorit’s Beverly Beach website – a now broken domain. Recently, with some newfound hindsight, Crystal shared how she felt about her attacks on Dorit.

Crystal felt Dorit took it “too far” with marriage jab, so hit back with her own shade

During an interview with E! News, Crystal was asked to share her reflections on her recent beef with Dorit. “I usually don’t clap back on social media,” she said. “I usually like, lay low. But, you know, when you take it too far, meaning my marriage … I’m gonna protect him and me.” She summed it up by saying, “So, yeah, that’s what happened, and I feel very good about it.”

The interviewers then brought up Crystal’s ongoing beef with Annemarie Wiley this season. After showing a clip from Annemarie during an After Show suggesting that Crystal was jealous of her life, Crystal shared her thoughts. “I just think this is who she is,” Crystal began.

“That she sort of blurs the line – that I’m jealous – ‘cause I was very clear I wanted to go to medical school to become a surgeon and she went to nursing school,” Crystal laughed a bit. “So that’s, sort of, that’s who she is. And no, no one’s jealous of Annemarie’s life.” One of the interviewers responded aptly: “Oof.” Yeah. Big oof to Annemarie.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 continues Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.

Lala Kent Thinks Rachel Leviss Is ‘Going About It All Wrong’

Lala Kent has some new thoughts to share on her former Vanderpump Rules cast member, Rachel Leviss. Those who’ve followed the VPR drama closely know that Rachel decided to part ways with the show late after Scandoval last year.

No one knows exactly what went down in the room where it happened, but whether it was an issue of money or mental health, Rachel decided she would not come back to Pump Rules. But that didn’t mean she was going to stay out of the limelight completely.

Rachel decided to start a podcast, perhaps in the hopes of building a brand independent from VPR. But up until now, she’s mostly only discussed Pump Rules on her pod. And Lala had some thoughts on Rachel’s approach to fame.

Lala to Rachel: “We don’t care about your side”

During a recent Watch What Happens Live appearance, a fan asked Lala if she’d listened to Rachel’s new podcast and if she had any feelings about Rachel that had evolved. “I don’t listen to her podcast,” Lala said. She admitted she’d heard a portion of it from her brother. As to whether Lala felt any differently about Rachel, she said, “I think she’s going about it all wrong.”

Lala explained, “If you’re gonna have a podcast, you should’ve come back to VPR, strap on your ovaries, and then like, also from a business standpoint, you would’ve had hella seasons of a podcast. And instead, like, what? You’re gonna ride the coattails of Scandoval? Like, it’s dyin’ out. We don’t care about your side.”

When asked about Rachel’s claim that Tom Schwartz knew about Scandoval from the beginning, Lala sarcastically responded, “Ya don’t say?” Lala then reflected on the Season 10 reunion, conceding, “That was the moment. And I feel like it was the most beautiful thing to watch … I know that this season is gonna look different because … now, dust has settled.”

Vanderpump Rules Season 11 continues Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
