Serving fashion while pregnant is a tough job. This may not be a look for everybody, but Teresa knows how to make just about anything work. Glowing while just a few weeks out from labor, she matched a casual green top with a tie-dye bandana, complete with standard denim jeans, a small gold heel, and matching accessories. Teresa seems a little out of her comfort zone here, but when you’re the queen of New Jersey, you shine no matter what. Take notes, ladies!

When Audriana Giudice was born, Teresa showed you can still deliver a moment from your hospital bed. The leopard print was all the rage back in 2009, and Teresa was all in. This was such an iconic look, that it was recreated by Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss when she gave birth to her son Ace Wells Tucker in 2016. Sharing this precious moment with viewers was a gift. Teresa has given everything to her reality TV career, and fans are grateful for it.

Teresa kept it classy when promoting her book Skinny Italian. She didn’t need to show off every inch of her body to look good. Caroline Manzo was probably just happy she wasn’t being teased in this book release. Tre dazzled in this short blue dress with a full-length zipper. The silver bracelet complements the color perfectly. And those nude heels? The best finish she could have had for this look. This outfit seemed like the start of a new era of fashion for Teresa that screamed “Fabulicious!”

Ruffles don’t look good on just anybody. Thankfully, Teresa looks fantastic here. She should wear pink more often because the color makes her shine. She could never be accused of wearing an understated earring with these outfits, and the golden bracelet pops. Tre also has that model pose down to a T by this point. This outfit is simple by design, but Teresa ensures it delivers a message: she’s the ultimate Real Housewives star, and nobody can dim that shine.

There is an elegance in simplicity, and it’s often underrated. That is what Teresa is serving up with this stunning look. The black heels match the main color blocking of the dress. Then pairing the color of her nails with the nude illusion cutouts? It is fashion, ladies, and gentlemen. Throw in some light accessories on the wrist, thin earrings, and a hefty blow-dry, and you have what could be considered Tre’s best photoshoot from the past 15 years.

New Jersey reunion looks can be very hit-and-miss. When Caroline called Teresa’s Season 5 look a “Christmas pageant dress,” history was made. But there’s no denying it was a beautiful gown that Teresa looked incredible in. In fact, looking back, she was the clear standout on the night when it came to the fashion game. It’s just a shame that all of the drama and shouting over each other overshadowed it. Still, it’s a reunion that people will revisit for years to come, so the dress will undoubtedly stand the test of time.

This high-waisted black skirt with a matching blouse and black fur coat is something Karen Gravano would be proud of. The red heels are sure to make a statement no matter which room Teresa walks into. Even on that worn carpet. Completing the look are some stunning yet simple silver earrings. She looks regal but ready to kick butt if necessary.

Vanderpump Rules Star Lala Kent Calls Out Raquel Leviss For Tom Schwartz Hookup; Says “I Think It Is Gross And Dirty And Disgusting”

Foreshadowing? Raquel Leviss’ romances are a case study of reality TV imitating life. Raquel chose to pursue Tom Schwartz on camera while hooking up with Tom Sandoval behind closed doors. But her sly mannerisms hold true with both Vanderpump Rules men.

So all the observations about Raquel’s behavior from Lala Kent, Ariana Madix, and Katie Maloney ring eerily true. Just not with the Tom we were expecting.

In the latest Pump Rules episode, Raquel was giddy and squealing about her kiss with Schwartz to all of Mexico. Meanwhile, his ex-wife Katie has been publicly humiliated. The other VPR ladies were rallying to Katie’s defense. Except for the bride, Scheana Shay.

Us Weekly reported on what was said during the explosive episode. As Ariana kindly put it, “I am starting to think that Raquel might actually have feelings for Schwartz because it feels like she’s living in some sort of rom-com. I think she’s the only one in it.”

Meanwhile, Lala was on the warpath. It turns out she gets triggered by Raquel. The former beauty pageant contestant reminds her of the girls that ex-fiancé Randall Emmett liked to romance. So, while the mother of one is defending her friend, it’s really about Lala.

“What I care about is how you affected my friend. I think it is gross and dirty and disgusting. I think you need to go find yourself elsewhere,” Lala said to Raquel during the episode.

She continued, “I think your self-worth comes from the approval of a man which is very sad to me. I think you have a mental breakdown coming. You are going to need some love and support. You appreciate people who bob their head and tell you it is all good,” Lala added.

But the “creepy uncle” kiss with Schwartz is old news. We are six weeks into the biggest upset in the show’s history with the revelation that Raquel was hooking up with Sandoval. And all the intuition the girls had about Raquel in the summer of 2022 really sounds different when watching the episodes now.

Raquel was riding high at the time these episodes were filmed. But now, she is at least giving the appearance of humility and regret.

In a statement of apology to Ariana on March 8, Raquel wrote, “I want to apologize for my actions and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships. There is no excuse, I am not a victim and I must own my actions and I deeply regret hurting Ariana.”

Then, Raquel gave an update on her relationship with Sandoval. “Besides the indefensible circumstances surrounding our relationship, my feelings for Tom have always been sincere and born out of a loving friendship,” she wrote via Instagram. “I care for Tom and I don’t want to label anything or predict what lies ahead. Right now I need to heal.”

Meanwhile, Sandoval’s priority was damage control. Although his lack of contrition is sabotaging the whole exercise. He appeared on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast last week. And gave his side of the story, including how the affair started.

“The feelings were something very, very strong,” Sandoval explained. “Those feelings that I had started to take over in a sense. Logic went out the window. Because I wasn’t experiencing that [with Ariana] — I hadn’t experienced that [before].”

He went on to claim he made a clean break with Ariana in the weeks before Scandoval broke the internet. “Like many relationships, it felt like it became more of like a best friends, family [thing] — sometimes roommates,” Sandoval said. “There were a lot of ways where the relationship was just lacking the intimacy, the connection. We would travel more by ourselves than we would together. I would go to weddings by myself.”

The Schwartz & Sandy’s co-owner also claimed to be taking a break from sexy times with Raquel. He stated, “We’re really good friends. We are not putting any label on it.”

Meanwhile, the prophetic 10th season of Vanderpump Rules continues to get more intriguing.

Kim Kardashian Will Attend The 2023 Met Gala Despite Initial Reports She Was Not Invited

Just when you thought Anna Wintour had come to her senses. It looks like the Met Gala 2023 will be another star-studded glamorous event. I mean, parties don’t come more coveted than the swanky New York City night to show yourself off. Famous celebs come dressed in their finest couture frocks in an attempt to knock the fashion community off its feet.

Sometimes the fashion community is knocked off its feet but it isn’t from an overabundance of class or stunning gowns. They might roll on the floor in sheer misery after witnessing a direct assault to both their eyeballs and any semblance of fashion expertise.

Former Keeping Up with the Kardashian star Kim Kardashian has been a frequent guest of the event in the past. She also has the honor of wearing one of the most hideous memorable outfits the Met Gala red carpet has ever seen.

Kim and her family don’t usually garner the type of attention Anna wants to put on display in association with her events. But The Kardashians‘ popularity and a marriage to a high-profile entertainer afforded Kim slots on the guest list.

In March, the rumor mill was buzzing that Kim and Kompany were not attending the ball this year. Oddly enough, that seems to have been resolved. Page Six has the details. In 2022 the entire Kardashian family “attended [the Met Gala] en masse.” This year insiders shared Anna was making cuts to the guest list and not one Kardashian received the golden ticket.

Looks like Kris Jenner made a call! Kimmy will now head to New York and do what she does best, stare into a camera. Kim probably won’t be the only member of her family to hit the rug. Chances are very good Kendall Jenner will report for duty. This actually makes sense as Kendall is a very sought-after model in the fashion biz.

Last season Kourtney Kardashian attended with Travis Barker and they basically showed as much of their tongues as possible for the photo ops. Honestly, no one needed to see that but fortunately the couple has managed to control their desires lately. Khloé Kardashian also went for the first time last year. I guess her first will be her last because now she’s sitting at home still pining over Tristan Thompson.

After Kim’s initial 2013 debut, she’s been a regular at the Gala. In 2019 she went with a “wet” look created by legendary designer Thierry Mugler. In 2021 she showed up looking like, I don’t know, a Ninja in a face-covering bodysuit by Balenciaga. It really was the perfect piece to wear if you wanted to rob a boutique in the middle of the night but you’d already taken off your thieving make-up. But the stuff totally hit the fan when Kim messed with Marilyn Monroe’s iconic “Happy Birthday” dress last year.

The Met Gala will take place on May 1, 2023, and the theme is, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.” No word on whether or not PK Kemsley will recreate his historic Karl Lagerfeld impersonation and attend on behalf of Karl’s ghost. At this time, we don’t know what Kim will be wearing, but it will probably include a big screw-you in Anna’s general direction.

Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 3 Episode 6: Poor Leah McSweeney Opts For ER Over Whitney Rose’s Healing Journey

It’s hard to believe that we’re already nearing the end of Season 3 of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. The Thailand trip was winding down and somehow, the group of Real Housewives vets made it feel like a month-long vacation rather than just a week. Some of the ladies, like poor Leah McSweeney, were more than ready to go home and never sign up for a Housewives’ show again. Pepsi, the ladies’ Thai concierge, was probably ready for his own vacation.

The latest episode took place after Gizelle Bryant verbally tore up the villa and made Pepsi cry because she couldn’t find “her” bottle of tequila. Thankfully, a trip to the temple and a “tantric” dinner helped the ladies turn a more peaceful leaf (sort of). Here are five of the main takeaways from the most recent RHUGT episode, “Tantric Tantrums.”

Pepsi Turns The Trip Around

The episode kicked off with an exhausted Pepsi who was about ready to kick the ladies out of his villa. Ahead of Marysol Patton’s cockie-making dinner, Pepsi sat the ladies down to tell them that their behavior is unacceptable. “I’m not happy,” Pepsi said, crying. He basically explained his whiplash trying to follow the ladies’ dynamics — they go from screaming at each other one minute to hugging the next.

Leah explained to Pepsi that when she fainted, all she wanted was to hold Pepsi’s hand. It’s a cute sentiment but I’m starting to think that Pepsi was a little more of a host than the head of the resort. He had a lot of emotions invested in the group. Gizelle and Porsha Williams ultimately thought Pepsi just couldn’t handle taking care of a group of bombastic Housewives. “We need a Coke or a Sprite,” Gizelle joked. Girl, you were the one taking shots with the man one second and making him fear for his job the next. No wonder he was such an emotional wreck.

Porsha Needs An Attitude Adjustment

Porsha clearly loved being the veteran star on the RHUGT trip, but by this episode, it started to be too much. It started with Pepsi. I know that viewers aren’t privy to every interaction that went down in the house. However, every time we saw Porsha ask Pepsi for a favor, like going on a KFC run, we never heard her say, “Thank you.” Which just rubs me the wrong way.

Then, Porsha and Leah got into a fight about the Instagram tagging gate. Porsha kept making comments about Leah just wanting an “I was there moment” by beefing with a star like Porsha. It was as much of a reach as it sounds. Porsha just kept telling Leah that despite her not doing anything wrong, she doesn’t like her. It was hard to watch because it actually felt like Leah wanted to have a dialogue with her, but Porsha just kept shutting her down with, “Bye Leah!” Porsha was so obsessed with Leah’s bad attitude affecting the group, but this kind of behavior has a pretty similar effect.

Heather Finally Stops Flip-Flopping

At the same dinner, Heather Gay finally put her big girl pants on and confronted Gizelle. Last week, Gizelle told Heather she didn’t trust her at all and accused her of stealing the tequila, which upset Heather. Heather opted for talking smack behind Gizelle’s back rather than confronting her, but she finally said her peace during the episode. She went as far as to tell Gizelle that she almost flipped the table in her face, so she didn’t leave any part out.

Heather got Gizelle to agree to a reset on their friendship since it started off on the wrong foot. Candiace Bassett praised Heather for finally having her “balls drop” by standing up to Gizelle. Whitney Rose was so happy to see some genuine behavior from her cousin that the two have a beautiful hugging moment. The two snowflakes apologize and proceed to jump into the pool while wearing their expensive microphone packs. All is right with the world.

No Seriously, Poor Leah

The following day the group prepared to visit a Buddhist temple on an excursion hosted by Leah. While all of the ladies got ready to go, Leah randomly started to get violently ill. Remember that it was just a day after she fainted in a store, and now she couldn’t walk a few steps without throwing up. She ultimately couldn’t go to the temple, which is just one bummer. The second was that aside from Pepsi and Candiace, the ladies didn’t seem to really care that Leah was sick. Poor Leah just got even more real.

Leah ended up going to the Thai emergency room to try to figure out what was wrong. Again, the ladies didn’t care. Marysol didn’t even remember that Leah wasn’t in attendance at the temple event. Leah can definitely be a stick in the mud, but it was hard to watch an entire group of women act so apathetic about one of their friends who was seriously sick. They should all be glad that the roles weren’t reversed

Another Whitney-Sponsored Healing Journey

The final event of the episode was a classic Whitney Rose healing journey. She hosted a tantric dinner that was so sexual it was awkward, which is kind of Whitney’s personality. The ladies also got a pole dancing class from some Thai dancers that provided some good entertainment. While Whitney was dropping into the splits from the pole in a dress, Gizelle was spinning around the pole and screaming like she was on a horrifying carousel ride.

The dinner provided Whitney with an opportunity to talk about Justin Rose losing his job because of her reality TV job. Whitney felt vindicated because she made more money that year in her career than Justin did previously. Good for her, but that doesn’t mean we all want to hear about how Justin is good at using his nose in bed. The entire dinner was a quintessential Whitney cringe fest and I was sort of living for it all.

Vanderpump Rules Fans Blast Howie Mandel For Seeming To Justify Tom Sandoval’s Behavior

Fans of Vanderpump Rules are blasting Howie Mandel for “justifying” Tom Sandoval’s cheating on his girlfriend of nearly a decade, Ariana Madix.

In an April 11 interview for the podcast Howie Mandel Does Stuff, the America’s Got Talent judge also caught heat for not doing his homework ahead of time. Apparently, Howie didn’t even know that Ariana and Rachel Raquel Leviss, Sandy’s secret paramour, had been BFFs before #Scandoval became a thing. Page Six spilled all the tea.

As Howie questioned the Schwartz and Sandy’s owner on the podcast, negative comments from Pump Rules fans poured in. “Why is howie justifying this?????” commented one fan. “Omg Howie. Stop,” another added. A VPR fan said, “Omg Howie, you’re embarrassing yourself.”

Many viewers were upset when Howie seemed to jump on the #Scandoval bandwagon in a blatant attempt to attract listeners to his podcast. Especially as he knew nothing about the facts.

“[Bowie] has no idea who [Sandoval] is or anything about the show, shut [up] and let your daughter do the interview,” an angry commenter wrote, suggesting that Howie’s daughter would be better at asking relevant questions. ​”You should not be doing this interview! You don’t know anything Howie!” added another irritated fan.

Possibly the worst fumble of the interview was Howie suggesting that fans should have “empathy and compassion” for Sandoval. That one landed about as well as when Tom Schwartz suggested that everyone should just give Sandy “a hug.”

“You need to be heard,” Howie suggested, “because the narrative is everyone else’s but yours.” The comedian backtracked, “I’m not condoning cheating on a partner…[but] I think some people have to have empathy and compassion. I don’t understand the hatred and the vitriol.”

Really, Howie? Sandy and Ariana were together for over 9 years. They owned a house together. He was sneaking around behind her back and having sex with her best friend. Howie has been married for nearly 40 years and seems to be a devoted husband. How does he think his wife’s friends would feel about him if he were in Sandoval’s shoes? Would he expect them to have “empathy and compassion?” Probably not.

​”Ok I’m done. f–k this piece of vile trash. Howie, lost all respect for you for kissing his vile a$$,” another angry listener reacted. Someone else wrote, “Howie you need to wake up to what’s really going on here Tom is a liar.”

Since news of the affair broke in early March, Sandoval and Raquel have both faced overwhelmingly negative fan reactions. Fans of the show are even taking out their anger on the newly opened Schwartz and Sandy’s bar co-owned by Sandoval and his BFF Schwartz. Ariana’s sympathizers even went to performances by Sandy’s band, Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras, to chant pro-Ariana/anti-Tom sentiments.

At the recently filmed Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion, Ariana had to be in close proximity to her ex and his new girlfriend (aka Raquoval). However, Ariana is a force of nature and can hold her own, as evidenced by the recent promo released by Bravo. In addition, nearly the entire cast had her back — except, of course, for Sandy’s Ride-or-Die Schwartz. Reportedly, Sandoval “went after everybody,” but received very little support from his castmates.

For her part, Raquel seemed unrepentant about the pain she’d caused her former bestie by sleeping with her live-in boyfriend. “The fact that she had not a single tear, no remorse,” a horrified and furious Scheana Shay said on her Scheananigans with Scheana Shay podcast. “She sat at the reunion and did not shed one tear.”

“I know,” added guest and co-star Lala Kent. “She actually smiled! It was scary. It was like watching the Joker.”

Sandoval told Howie that he and the former beauty queen are on “a break” at the moment, following their 7-month affair. I guess it’s just no fun anymore, now that they don’t have to sneak around behind Ariana’s back.

Andy Cohen Says Tom Sandoval’s Interview With Howie Mandel Didn’t Do Him “Any Favors”

Were you confused by the Tom Sandoval and Howie Mandel interview? Apparently, you’re in good company because so was Andy Cohen. During a recent episode of Andy’s SiriusXM show, Andy Cohen Live, he shared his feelings about the unusual sit-down. Page Six covered all of the details. And it sounds like Andy is less than thrilled with Sandoval right now.

They say you shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds you, but Sandoval might have taken a little nibble by doing this Howie interview. Typically, you don’t see Bravolebrities doing tell-all interviews while their shows are still airing. But, by going on the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast and sharing his side of the Ariana Madix cheating saga, he’s getting ahead of any bombshells that are still to be revealed in Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules.

The entire cast of VPR recently sat down for the season 10 reunion. So, why would Sandoval now feel compelled to run to one of the America’s Got Talent judges? According to Andy, he found out about the interview at the last minute. He explained, “I found out about it last week [and] was annoyed on my behalf, on Bravo’s behalf, on the viewers’ behalf.”

It also sounds like Howie found out about Sandoval and Raquel Leviss last week. He flat-out admitted to not knowing anything about Vanderpump Rules during the interview. Between Howie’s unpreparedness and Sandoval’s meandering and contradictory excuses for the cheating scandal, Andy deduced that “neither Tom nor Howie did themselves any favors.”

When discussing the interview, Andy threw a bit of shade at Howie for not doing his homework. We love when Andy gets a little messy. He quipped, “You know what — if I was doing a Deal or No Deal reunion, you know what I would do? I would watch Deal or No Deal to find out what it’s about.”

Andy said he was surprised Sandoval decided to sit down with someone so unfamiliar with the show. “He’s like, ‘I don’t understand why this [cheating scandal] is a big deal,’ but maybe that’s what Tom felt he needed from an interview, so he could just be completely unchallenged.”

The interview with Howie may have allowed Sandoval to go unchallenged, but it was also one hundred percent cringe. So, who’s the real winner here? Andy felt Tom’s interview undermined VPR, but he’s confident that we’ll still benefit from the explosive Pump Rules reunion. He held his own one-on-one sitdowns with Tom, Ariana, and Raquel and teased plenty of drama.

Andy teased, “I’m still looking forward to you all seeing that, and hearing his perspective up against Raquel and Ariana is fascinating stuff, so there’s still more to come.”

Survivor 44 Episode 7 Recap: Love Hurts

Episode 7 of Survivor was by all measures the best episode of the season. But for those rooting for the “nerd-mance” to prevail, it was quite frustrating.

Love comes in all shapes and sizes, but it rarely comes at all on Survivor. When it does, it provides players with the rarest commodity ever to be found within the game: Someone you can unequivocally trust. For Matt Blankinship and Frannie Marin, they had found that in each other. They were two self-proclaimed “nerds” who had found an instant connection. They had hoped that would be enough to carry them to the end of the game. Well, at least carry them further than what ended up happening.

The Devious Snake

From the get-go, Episode 7 was non-stop strategy and drama…exactly the way I like my Survivor prepared. YamYam Arocho was finding it hard to stomach that there had been some votes cast against him in the previous Tribal Council. With nobody in the game other than Carolyn Wiger in his corner, YamYam knew that he had to turn up his social prowess if he was going to survive another vote in this game.

But with the tribes now merged, information was flowing everywhere. Matt had believed he possessed an Immunity Idol until he learned from Brandon Cottom that the birdcage contained both a real and a fake Idol. When Matt had come across his, there was just one in there. That pretty much proved to Matt that the Idol he possessed was indeed a fake. Recalling a strange conversation he had with Danny Massa just prior, he realized that “devious snake” must have the real Idol. Suddenly, Matt didn’t feel all that safe in the game.

Big Twists

Matt’s fortunes wouldn’t improve over the course of the episode. As the tribes entered into the Immunity Challenge area, Jeff Probst dropped more than a few bombs on them. First, this Immunity Challenge would not be played individually, but in teams. The divide would split Matt and Frannie.

When Frannie won individual Immunity for herself, those of us shipping for Matt and Frannie nearly jumped off our couches. All Frannie had to do was throw the rest of the challenge! She had already won herself Immunity. But by letting Brandon win the bigger prize, she would ensure Immunity for Matt as well!

All the stars had appeared to align for Frannie and Matt…until Frannie just kept fighting. She outlasted Brandon, and ultimately sealed her boyfriend Matt’s fate in the game.

The Decision

The most hotly debated topic following Episode 7 was: Did Frannie make the right call in trying to stay in the challenge to win it after she had already won Immunity for herself? This ended up being just Blunder #1 that her alliance would make in this episode. As mentioned before, it is so incredibly rare to see a true power-couple form in the game of Survivor. It has of course happened, but it’s rare…more rare when it’s a romantic duo. The further the pair would last, the bigger the targets they’d become. There’s no doubt of that. But the trade is that their bond becomes stronger too, not to mention their voting numbers.

Frannie exposed Matt to being voted out. She also painted herself as a larger physical threat by winning a challenge. On one hand, I get it…you are on Survivor. You are out there for an adventure and to prove to yourself what you’re capable of. But if you are “in it to win it,” you have to think bigger than personal glory. It was just too risky a move to leave Matt as one of just four eligible people to get voted out.

When It Rains…

For Matt, the other big twist was that he wasn’t allowed to even return to his camp, where he had left his personal bag. So whether his Idol was fake or not (it was), he didn’t get the chance to play it. Also in his bag? His “shot-in-the-dark” which would have given him at least one last gasp at staying alive.

The most painful element of all was that Matt and Frannie did not get a chance to even say goodbye. Matt desperately clung to hope that Frannie might bring his bag with her to Tribal (she did not). Matt’s torch was then snuffed. Poor Matt even sank so low as to offer up a papaya to Jeff Probst, in hopes that his fruity gift might make Probst call off the Tribal Council.

At least viewers and fans can take comfort in the fact that Matt and Frannie will be able to see each other moving forward, with Matt becoming the first member of the Survivor 44 jury. Matt and Frannie will either reunite at Ponderosa (if Frannie is voted out), or Matt will help cast a vote for her to win the game. Either way, things did not shake out the way that Matt and Frannie had envisioned, and it sucks knowing that Frannie had multiple chances to keep him alive in the game, even for a little while.

Taking Control

Even with Matt’s fate seemingly sealed, the game provided yet another twist that nearly saved him. It was a mad-dash through the jungle looking for keys, to open a new birdcage which provided the game a new advantage. It was Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt – a player we’ve seen tragically little of thus far – who found the correct key. The advantage? The ability to “control” a player’s vote at just this Tribal Council.

Heidi – along with ally Frannie – had a chance to use this advantage to save Matt, or at least make things interesting. Everyone in the game knew that Lauren Harpe has an Extra Vote advantage. So had Heidi taken control of, say, Brandon‘s vote and used it against Lauren, that would have sent a signal to YamYam and Matt that they needed to band together and vote for Lauren as well. There’s no guarantee this would have happened, but had it happened, that would have been three votes on Lauren (Matt, YamYam and Brandon’s controlled vote)…enough to send her out of the game. Even if she were to have used her Extra Vote, it would just be her voting along with Jaime Lynn Ruiz…not enough to save her.

So Lauren was able to hold on to her Extra Vote, YamYam was ultimately saved (yay Team Carolyn!) and Frannie must now manage the rest of the game without Matt in her corner. Despite winning, this seems to be a terrible episode for Frannie’s game, no?

Episode Take-Away

Significantly, Danny was exposed during Episode 7 as someone in possession of an Idol, and someone categorized as a “snake.” That’s not good for Danny. Meanwhile, the longer YamYam and Carolyn slip through, the more powerful they become. Carolyn still has a real Idol that nobody knows about, and together they form the unlikeliest of power couples. That is the epitome of danger.

It was good to see Heidi a bit more this week, to see what kind of player she is and where her head’s at. But with all the talk of wanting to make a big move, it seemed like everyone played this week safe. Matt and Frannie are endlessly cute but are maybe the least strategically-minded couple the show has ever seen. At least a power couple was broken up. I for one am still rooting for Frannie, and only time will tell if this was ultimately a good move for her or the beginning of the end of her game.

Vanderpump Rules Star Tom Sandoval Says He “Got [His] Ass Into Therapy” After First Hookup With Raquel Leviss

Ever since the Vanderpump Rules #Scandoval broke, Tom Sandoval proves more and more every day that his thought process is concerning. He seemingly has no remorse for cheating on Ariana Madix with Raquel Leviss after he and Ariana spent years building a life together. Sandoval somehow thinks he can come out of this unscathed and able to move on with a relationship with Raquel without anyone batting an eye. Thankfully, he was wrong and we as VPR fans are crucifying him accordingly. And karma is giving Ariana everything she deserves for having to deal with Tom for so long.

Sandoval recently decided to risk what little of his reputation he had left (including potentially his Pump Rules career) to speak to Howie Mandel about the affair. Did Raquel advise him to do this? Otherwise, I have no idea why he thought it would be a good idea. Sandoval spent the episode of the Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast throwing more wrenches in the #Scandoval timeline and trying to defend his selfish ways. He also dropped a slight bomb that conjures up even more questions than answers. As if we VPR fans have the wherewithal at this point.

On Howie’s podcast, Sandoval admitted that he and Rachel first hooked up prior to Scheana Shay and Brock Davies’ wedding. He claims that right after the event, he did some soul-searching, according to People. “I got my ass into therapy immediately to try and figure out what the hell I’m gonna do,” he revealed. And the subsequent #Scandoval fallout was the result of all of this deep thought and introspection? Make it make sense.

Sandoval doubled down that he’s head over heels for Rachel or something stupid. I’m going to throw up. Another particularly gross part was when Sandoval tried to claim that during the affair, he had a healthy relationship with Raquel. “The environment it created  — the lying, sneaking around —was very unhealthy,” he said. The AUDACITY of this man.

Tom also said that he and Ariana went to couples therapy to work on their issues. While they were discussing their relationship, Sandoval admitted he never mentioned that he was now in love with her GOOD FRIEND RAQUEL. He even said he tried “planting the seed” in therapy that he wanted to split.

Do you want to know the best way to let someone know you don’t want to be with them? You freakin’ TELL THEM, SANDOVAL. Don’t be a coward and enter into a new relationship while you’re still knee-deep in your old one. I want to know if he ever told the therapists about the cheating because, if not, I’m sure they have plenty of thoughts about those sessions in retrospect.

Married At First Sight Season 16 Episode 15 Recap: “Whiskey A No-No”

Last night’s episode of Married At First Sight was juicy! There was a lot to unpack in this one episode. This season is full of all types of drama. It seems like everyone insists on having some type of issue, even if they have to create one. This week, DeVon Franklin steps in to speak with all the couples and help them to navigate through their lingering issues. He definitely had his work cut out for him!

With less than two weeks left until Decision Day, flowing whiskey at a couples’ get-together leads to shocking confessions. One husband’s dancing “misstep” leaves an already unsteady marriage teetering on the edge. Another groom admits that he is in love with his wife, even if she doesn’t believe it. Let’s get straight into the recap!

Christopher & Nicole

Chris was left totally confused when Nicole tried to explain she may not always mean what she says. In her previous relationships, she was left to self-soothe so her default is to separate herself. But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t want validation and support. Sigh! I can appreciate that Nicole really tried to communicate about her issues and her past. But, this could actually backfire and make Chris fearful of the future with her, if she keeps warning him away.

Nicole went shopping with Kirsten for some lingerie to spice things up with Chris. While there, she expresses some doubts about her body. But when she comes out of the dressing room, she looks great. Why are you hiding all of that Nicole? Kirsten does a great job encouraging her to achieve self-love and gave some sexy tips for the bedroom. I truly hope that Nicole can find a way to let her past go and accept that her future can hold great things. If she allowed herself to accept it. It is clear that she is self-sabotaging out of fear, despite Chris being in love with her. Nicole, he is going to get tired of you always creating an issue. He isn’t those other men that hurt you! If Nicole isn’t in therapy, she could benefit from going to work through some of her trauma.

Airris & Jasmine

Jasmine spoke with DeVon about the state of her marriage. She has revealed to the other women all of her frustrations but has yet to fully explain them to Airris. She experienced some issues with self-esteem, due to bullying in her life. DeVon catches the correlation between her suppressing her feelings when she is in stressful situations to how she shuts down with her husband. After some thought, she is finally able to admit she is afraid of hearing a negative response to her feelings. But Jasmine has to have the confidence and courage to confront the issues head-on. Hopefully after this pep talk, she will attempt to have this discussion.

Airris had an interesting conversation with DeVon regarding his marriage. He wants a partner to share his life with, yet he admitted that he wasn’t putting in a lot of effort with Jasmine to potentially have that. One of their major issues is communication. Jasmine is afraid to get hurt. Airris almost seemed content with the way things are. Yes, he made efforts to go deeper in their conversations recently, but what is his intention behind that? Is it truly getting to know and possibly building something with his wife? Or is it just to make conversation? Jasmine seems to think it’s the latter and I agree.

During a group outing, Jasmine admitted in front of everyone that she has been emotional due to the state of her marriage. Immediately, Nicole jumped to her defense and she and several others advised her that it is important to be vulnerable with others. I love how everyone shared their own stories in order to support her. Later, Jasmine reached her limit with Airris. While everyone was dancing, she attempted to dance with him, but he danced with the female instructor instead. Needless to say, he spent the night on the couch. The next day, Dr. Pepper Schwartz came to visit and they discussed the incident. Airris was disappointed Jasmine made a scene and she was proud that she finally stuck up for herself. Let’s hope that Dr. Pepper can make some sense out of this because I have already given up on them as a couple.

Clint & Gina

When Clint and Gina met with Dr. Pepper, she tried to convince them that despite being in the friend zone they could still fall in love. Has she not observed these two during the entire experiment? I think this couple falling in love in the last week is highly unlikely, no matter what they do. Chemistry has to be natural and if you need exercises and pep talks to establish it, then it may not be there. They already stated they are not attracted to one another. Did Dr. Pepper suggest they watch Driving Miss Daisy together to create intimacy? Insert side eye here. What??? It may be time for her to retire if these are her suggestions. Somehow, I doubt that movie nor any other is going to save this marriage.

Shaquille & Kirsten

Shaq’s mom called Kirsten and told her that she needs to be more supportive of her son. He was still upset that she didn’t attend his work event. Kirsten claimed that she has tried to make up for him feeling that way by sending him affirmations and checking in with him throughout the day. But apparently, Mama and Shaq didn’t think it is enough. Now… I don’t know how to feel about this interaction. It is too early for Shaq’s mother to get so involved in their relationship.

During the group outing, Shaq revealed he was once in a dark place and decided to seek therapy. Nicole jumped in and said that she will speak on Kirsten’s behalf and that she is willing to be a support for him. Shaq became visibly upset and walked away. He was hurt another woman had to say what his wife should have said at that moment. He has a point. To be fair, Kirsten didn’t ask Nicole to do that, but it was her silence at that moment that was loud. There is no way I would let another woman tell my man what I can do for him, without affirming that myself. Apparently, on Shaq’s last trip, he found out that he would not be graduating on time. So, he felt very alone when she didn’t come to his event to support him.

DeVon met with Kirsten and Shaq and explained that they need to communicate their expectations clearly to one another. If they aren’t able to do that, neither will be able to meet those expectations. Shaq explained he wants his wife to fully understand his work and show up to his events. In turn, she mentioned that she has shown up for an event and she has supported him in other ways. Devon gave them some great advice. He challenged Shaq not to diminish things that she has done because she missed one event, because it is counterproductive. To be fair, I think it is a bit demanding to expect someone who has only known you for a short period of time to attend every work event if they are out of town. She has attended an event and asked him questions about his job, but personally, I think that expectation is high at this point. Kirsten does convey that although she has been supportive, it will only grow with time.
