Vanderpump Rules Classic Episode Rewatch: Leis, Liquor And Lies [Season 4, Episode 12]

Does the Vanderpump Rules’ Scandoval have you in a chokehold? As much as I would like to try and pretend that it’s too much, I’m invested. Like how everyone compares not being able to turn away from a car crash or a train wreck. Scandoval is more like watching lightning bolt necklaces strike. But I’m standing outside, Benjamin Franklin-style, with a key and kite in one hand and a Pumptini in the other.

Naturally, fans are doing rewatches. I don’t know if we are all looking for easter eggs that Tom Sandoval was the worst (even though I accidentally found them in this episode). Some of us just miss the old days when this level of toxicity amongst a friend group was sort of tolerated for the sake of entertainment.

So, today I bring to you a Pump Rules classic episode from Season 4, where the gang heads to Hawaii to celebrate, what else? BIRTHDAYS. Only this time it wasn’t Stassi Schroeder’s. So there’s still drama to be had, but at least Stassi isn’t shouting that it’s her birthday and threatening to murder people.

The Gang’s All Not Here

It’s Jason Cauchi Jax Taylor and Sandoval’s birthday and the cast is in sunny Hawaii. But Sandoval has had it up to his overly-processed tips with ex-girlfriend, Kristen “Suck A D–k, Diana” Doute. As a show of support, Stassi stays behind with Kristen, her infamous backhand to Kristen’s face all but forgotten. Except for flashbacks of the incident, which the producers share gratuitously.

Lala Kent has entered the building. Or shall I say the hostess desk at SUR. So has James Kennedy, who is busing tables and waiting for his big break behind another table – the turn table. He’s a long way from being the “white Kanye [West]” but eventually, he will at least get himself into a broom closet turned DJ booth to drop some beats. Just not this season.

Both Lala and James have this flirtation going on. And by flirtation I mean Lala mauling James on the flight to Hawaii but drawing the line at joining the mile-high club. Oh, Lala, I could never stand you, but I at least enjoyed watching you toy with James, the newest Peter Pan on the block.

Jaxin’ Ain’t Easy

The VPR ladies, ever the tight-knit click, have fully accepted fan girl and recent Kentucky transplant, Brittany Cartwright. She has arrived fresh from her farm to be Jax’s live-in girlfriend, therefore, posing no threat to Katie Maloney, Scheana Shay or Ariana Madix. Brittany has her old boobs, a golly-gosh attitude and has yet to claw her way to being a SURver. So for now, she’s settled for Hooters, which she proudly served back in Kentucky. Can we fire off a 21 chicken wing salute for this clueless queen?

Unfortunately for Brittany, she has yet to learn that Jax enjoys lying. Like, reeeeeallllly enjoys it. Almost like it’s his thing. So after Brittany has caught wind that Jax has been flirting with Lala, Jax has plenty of time to think up a lie while Brittany ponders how she’s going to talk to Lala. He’s always one step ahead. This isn’t exactly hard given that Brittany is more naive than fans who thought Jax actually got a job as a social media manager for a hockey team in Florida. If that happens to be you, I have a bar to sell you in Weho.

But Jax is banking on the notion that Lala won’t reveal his mistruths. And he would be mistaken. While Lala initially doesn’t expose him when Brittany confronts her on a Sandoval-sponsored hike, she will get him later.

Nips Ahoy!

Speaking of the Sandoval hike, Lala is about to further alienate herself from the ladies of SUR when she decides to go topless while swimming in a water hole during their hike. A fact that really bites her in the nipple ass later. I personally don’t think it’s a big deal that Lala went topless in front of the guys. What I do think is that Lala enjoys being provocative and riling up the other girls. Wasn’t that why she was brought on the show? I’m going to guess it wasn’t for her yachting experience.

When Lala gets chided for having her boobs out and about, she informs everyone that she lives a very “European lifestyle.” I’ve never been to her home state of Utah but I’m sure it’s the Saint Tropez of the western United States.

While Katie takes issue with Lala being partially unclothed before a newly engaged man (Tom Schwartz), Jax is busy opining about how to get away with gawking. According to him, men have perfected the art of looking without being caught by their significant others. “That’s why sunglasses were invented,” he smirks in his confessional. Well, at least we now know why he stole a pair in next week’s episode. Tell me Jax, does the Sunglass Hut post bail?

Blue Skies…And Balls

Maybe one of the reasons Katie is so annoyed with Lala’s flashing is because her newly engaged man is upset they have yet to consummate their engagement. And is therefore pestering her nonstop. Huge turn-on, ammirite?

In lieu of not getting lei’d in Hawaii, Schwartz has taken to entertaining himself. No, not like that. While Katie sleeps peacefully thinking that her boobs are the only ones Schwartz has seen on this trip, he’s taking naked pics of himself on their hotel balcony. He eagerly shows her a picture of his stark white butt on display, just like that infamous Justin Beiber photo. Katie tries to hide her disgust. Same girl! Not only did Schwartz take the picture, but he posted it to Instagram. Which is the ultimate cringe for a person who is so good at supplying us with endless cringe.

But Schwartz has a guilty conscience too. Because….sigh…he saw Lala’s boobs. Christ on a cracker, again??? Raise your hand if you don’t give a flying pineapple about Lala’s boobs at this point. Schwartz tells Katie about what happened at the waterfall, clearly anticipating that Katie will find out and be mad because he had working eyes that day. Schwartz is playing chess, not checkers on this one. Tequila Katie isn’t exactly activated, but best believe she’s going to put Lala on blast about it later. Because Schwartz can literally show his whole ass to people on social media, but Lala’s fun bags can’t even feel the Hawaiian breeze. I mean, that’s obviously what she was doing – just airing the girls out.

If Flat Irons Could Talk

Lala isn’t the only one airing things out on this trip. Scheana has some dirty laundry for us! Sandoval has discovered that the now former Mrs. Shay was texting Ariana’s mom about how much he sucks. And then he proceeds to show us just how much he sucks by trying to dazzle Ariana with his flat iron. You’re not reading that wrong, you guys. Here is the actual dialogue that I painstakingly transcribed and would humbly like submit to the History of Dumbest Quotes Ever Museum:

Sandoval, holding up his prized hair tool: “It gets up to 220 degrees Celsius, has a kill switch, sleep mode, and gets up to 190 in less than 10 seconds.“

Ariana, not even glancing up: “Cool story, bro.“

And scene! Listen, I am not going to kick Ariana while she is down. But maaaan, it is hard to watch this absolute dork get horny over something you can purchase from Sally Beauty Supply. This flat iron is getting more play than Schwartz at this point.

Flat iron aside, Sandoval is mad about Scheana’s interference in his relationship. And so is Ariana. I mean, I get it. No one wants their bestie texting their mom about how much of a dud their boyfriend is. But at this point, we need a moment of silence to mourn one of the earliest red flags that Ariana ignored.

Say what you want about Scheana, but she really tried to help her friend see the light. She told Mother Ariana that Sandoval was all about himself. And that he acts like he is better than everyone else, leading me to believe he also told Scheana about his flat iron.

But Scheana had Sandoval’s number from the start, so to speak. And it was 220 degrees Celsius. Is Scheana an oracle? Does her new tooth (RIP extracted gray tooth) give her special powers to see the future like Allison DuBois’ e-cigarette? We may never know. If that is the case, I would like to think that Scheana would go forth to use those powers for good. Like warning Lala that a Range Rover won’t be worth it in the end.

The Lyin’ King

After another long day of pretending to like each other, the gang goes out to a Tiki bar. Things quickly turn tense when Jax gets annoyed that James and Lala are making out in front of his face. Brittany is the epitome of “ignorance is bliss” as she sits beside him.

Unable to contain his annoyance at not being able to cheat on his girlfriend when he had the chance, Jax starts with James. The two circle each other metaphorically. In his confessional, Jax proclaims himself to be an alpha and the guffaw I let out was loud enough to wake up my dog. An alpha? On Lisa Vanderpump’s green earth? If we were talking about alphas in nature and I was a lioness and had to pick a mate, I would rather Mufasa myself into a stampede of wildebeests, as witnessed in the Rob Minkoff co-directed classic, The Lion King.

Being the alpha that he is, Jax can’t help but be alpha-level stupid and starts boasting about how invested he is in Brittany. Complete with saying how trustworthy he is. Lala can take no more and has to pull Brittany to the side and explain to her what it means to be born yesterday.

Lala details Jax’s indecent proposal and all Brittany can say is that she’s confused. Babe, that’s not confusion. It’s called denial and it’s not just a river in Egypt. Jax stands by, eager to discredit Lala with his web of lies. Spoiler alert – Brittany buys it. But we fans know better and lest we forgot, here come the producers to show us a flashback. Complete with subtitles of Jax telling Lala he wants to bang her. Oh, and telling her that he’s not really with Brittany. Oh, and that Brittany isn’t moving to L.A. So many lies, and so much footage.

When Brittany takes the side of the alpha male that’s gaslighting the eff out of her castmate, Lala is done. She knows that Brittany is a lost cause. All for a man whose life ambition a few seasons ago was to have his own line of chunky sweaters. Alpha Cardigans & Co., anyone?

But once Brittany knew she could hang up her Hooters tank top by hitching her wagon to a reality tv villain that her mom wants to bone, she couldn’t turn back. It might not be what dreams are made of, but Brittany is the type of gal who looks at a turd like Jax through rose-colored stolen sunglasses.

Hey, it could be worse. She could have ended up with Sandoval.

Gizelle Bryant Dishes On Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Drama With Candiace Dillard Bassett And Heather Gay

Things feel right in the world when a new season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip is on the horizon. Season 3 of the all-stars Real Housewives spinoff premieres this week, and Gizelle Bryant is opening up about her experience filming the show. In an interview with The Sun, she teased that their trip to Thailand was an “all-around good time.” Of course, that didn’t stop her from butting heads with a few of her castmates.

When discussing the upcoming season of RHUGT, Gizelle revealed she clashed with her Real Housewives of Potomac costar Candiace Dillard Bassett. Gizelle dominated season 7 of RHOP after Chris Bassett made her uncomfortable with the alleged private conversation in her dressing room.

During the season 7 reunion, Candiace and Chris held Gizelle’s feet to the fire over the accusations. After the screaming and insults, it appeared Gizelle had been held accountable for spreading a baseless rumor. Still, Gizelle says that Candiace held onto her anger over the situation and brought it to Thailand.

Meanwhile, Gizelle still sticks to her claim that Chris did something to make her uncomfortable. “It wasn’t an accusation. It was reality,” she said. “It doesn’t even really matter to me anymore. I mean, it is what it is.”

On top of the drama with Candiace, Gizelle shared she also went head-to-head with Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Heather Gay. Gizelle didn’t spill the tea about why they didn’t get along on the trip. But, this is just one of those bizarre combinations that make RHUGT so fun to watch. Despite butting heads with some of her castmates, Gizelle insists that Season 3 is lighthearted. She shared, “It was fun drama, it was good drama.”

The RHOP star also teased it wasn’t all arguments and shade during the Thailand trip. She did make some new friends. Gizelle said she bonded the most with The Real Housewives of Miami cast members Alexia Nepola and Marysol Patton. She also connected with Salt Lake City’s Whitney Rose and her former Bravo’s Chat Room cohost, Porsha Williams.

Season 3 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip hits Peacock on March 23rd. Gizelle summed up the season as a “Housewives Olympics” and an all-around good time. After the long, dark seasons of RHOP, RHOSLC, and RHOM, we all deserve a good time.

Gizelle Bryant Claims She “Forgot” To Bring Up Juan Dixon Cheating Rumors On Real Housewives Of Potomac

Another season of Real Housewives of Potomac has come and gone, but Robyn Dixon’s foolish behavior is enough to last a lifetime. At the end of Season 7, Robyn finally revealed (behind a paywall) that Juan Dixon was back to his cheating ways. It was a convoluted story about a woman and a hotel tab that sounded fishy. The only thing it made clear to me is that Karen Huger was right. La Dames, rise.

The truth is that Robyn discovered the news about Juan cheating before RHOP cameras started rolling for Season 7. She just kept quiet and tried to make the Grande Dame look like a liar when she knew what was going on in her home. Robyn thought she had made it through filming the reunion before SELLING the news of her husband’s infidelity. Thankfully, Andy Cohen didn’t let her off that easy and she was grilled with questions about it. As expected, Robyn gave more excuses than answers.

Robyn isn’t the only one getting heat. Gizelle Bryant, her partner in shady crime, knew about all of Juan’s messy behavior too, and decided to keep quiet. Gizzy, the person who brings up EVERYONE’S dirty laundry, conveniently lets Robyn off the hook. Now, in an interview with People, Gizelle is really trying to act like the RHOP fans are dumb.

Gizelle claims to the outlet that due to the timing of Juan’s cheating scandal, it didn’t come up on camera. “I forgot about it, to be quite honest,” Gizelle said. “That situation was like, months and months prior to us filming.” FORGOT??? Girl bye. Gizelle forgets NOTHING except for a sense of style. Don’t play dumb and just say you had your friend’s back — it might earn you a tiny bit of respect back from the fans.

Gizelle went on to explain that RHOP is filmed in a vacuum. Yes, and that vacuum is FULL of cheating allegations regardless of when they occur. She tried to relate Juan cheating on his SOON TO BE WIFE to if she were to bring up her boyfriend cheating in high school. C’mon now. The season was CENTERED around Robyn’s fake wedding to this man. Do you mean to tell me y’all didn’t think a cheating scandal was relevant to viewers getting the whole story? I’m over it, GEB. The RHOP husbands are always doing too much and it makes it worse when Gizzy and Robyn let some skate on by while holding others’ feet to the fire. In the words of NeNe Leakes, these girls are STARLESS.

Below Deck Season 10 Episode 17 Recap:

It’s the last hurrah for Below Deck Season 10. With no reunion ahead, this is the last we’ll see of the yachties for a while. I couldn’t be more disappointed. After all the drama between Captain Lee Rosbach and Captain Sandy Yawn over their management of the crew, I was dying for the crusty sailor and motivational speaker to face off in Andy Cohen’s clubhouse. Then there’s the matter of Camille Lamb and Alissa Humber’s post-production accountability tours. And what about Ben Willoughby’s achy-breaky heart?

For now, this recap will have to get us through. No doubt the internet will reveal the answers to all our final questions over the next several weeks. Right?

The Final Charter

Our final episode for Season 10 was reasonably tame. Though the body-building charter guests looked intimidating, they couldn’t have been a more gracious group. Fraser Olender and his team are exceptionally pleased, given the number of divalicious tagalongs this season has hosted. 

Tony Duarte is honored to be hosting the winningest body-builder of all time on the yacht. Captain Lee joins the guests for dinner, and later the crew performs a Buns and Guns competition where Ross McHarg inexplicably wins first place. Everyone goes to bed at a reasonable hour, there’s not a rude comment or sobbing drunk in sight. Well done, everyone! 

The guests leave a handsome tip the next morning, and Captain Lee reveals the crew has made almost a quarter of a million dollars in tips over the course of the season.

t9 Is For Lovers

Is it a GenZ thing? Why does Camille tell Ben she “doesn’t text”? I feel old. Or emotionally stable. I can’t tell.

Ben calls Camille from the yacht and gets her voicemail. She then sends him a text saying he should feel lucky because she usually doesn’t text. Does she post to Instagram with those thumbs? Ben follows up and asks what will happen when she’s in the States and he’s back in Australia if she’s allergic to texting.

Camille responds that she is simply too overwhelmed to have the Australia conversation right now. Maybe she’ll messenger pigeon him later. But what is Ben fighting for here? A text relationship with someone on the other side of the globe? Aim higher. 

Ben The Romantic

Later Ben talks to Katie Glaser about all the red flags Camille has been waving lately. He realizes he’s been missing some of the earlier signs and he’s been holding himself back from a girl who actually likes him while doing so. After the Buns and Guns party, he pulls Leigh-Ann Smith aside to tell her his feelings. She’s adorably patient with him name-dropping Camille the entire time, too. Leigh-Ann should also aim higher. 

During the crew dinner to celebrate the end of the season, Ben pulls Leigh-Ann in for a kiss. They end up in the hot tub, and eventually in a guest cabin for the night. The next day, both Ben and Leigh-Ann insist they did nothing but chat and share a few kisses during their sleepover. Again, Leigh-Ann mentions Ben wouldn’t stop saying Camille’s name the whole time. 

Ben leaves the boat by himself. He tells Leigh-Ann that he needs to follow his heart for Camille. He’s going to the Dominican to be with Cammy for 10 days, and he intends to be exclusive with her in the near future. I’m so sure. 

Tyler’s Come-Out Come-Up

It’s been a long time coming. Tyler Walker’s main storyline, besides being perfect, amazing, hilarious, and adorable, has been his drive to come out to his parents. During lunch service, Fraser shares his own story about coming out to his mother. Between that and Hayley De Sola Pinto’s encouragement, Tyler finally feels ready to come out. 

Tyler calls his mother from his cabin. He tells her he needs to tell her something, and she quickly cuts him off by saying she’s with his grandma. Though Tyler takes his cue to hold off on baring his soul, his mom leaves him knowing that, “whatever it is, it will be fine.” She assures him that she will love him no matter what, and he breathes a sigh of relief. 

The Final Moments

So here are the final takeaways from the season; Katie ran the anchor during docking, and she wants to return someday as a bosun. I would definitely watch that. Especially if it means never having to host Ross on my screen ever again. Katie acknowledges she could see herself with Ross in the future, but she also knows he is nothing other than a f-ck boy right now. 

Chef Rachel Hargrove leaves the boat saying she no longer has fun while yachting. She tells the camera that she’s too old for this, and she has decided to leave yachting until she’s bored and land-locked. 

Captian Lee’s final docking scene is given quite the edit. Intense momentous music plays despite everything going completely fine. He gives us one final whacky quote before the season ends, calling a missed line “as useful as a screen door on a submarine.” We end the show with a recap of his career highlights.

Tyra Banks Is Leaving Dancing With The Stars After Three Seasons

Once again, Dancing with the Stars is shaking things up. According to People, Tyra Banks just announced that after three seasons on the dancing competition show, she’s stepping away from her role as host. She shared the news in a recent interview with TMZ and revealed that she’s shifting her focus.

“I feel it’s really time for me to focus on my business and my entrepreneurship, and also producing more TV — but behind the scenes. I think it’s time to graduate from the dance floor to the stock market floor. … from the ballroom to the boardroom!” Tyra explained.

The supermodel clarified her decision to leave DWTS, asking the interviewer, “Don’t you think it’s time? Yeah, I think it’s time.” She added, “I’m an entrepreneur at heart. … I think my heart, my soul, is into my business, it’s also into producing new TV. … But, I really, really want to focus on my business, and you can’t do that hosting a show.”

Although plenty of TV hosts also run businesses, we respect Tyra’s decision to bow out from Dancing with the Stars to do what makes sense to her. She joined DWTS as a host and executive producer in 2020 after Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews got the axe. At the time, she shared that she was eager to join the franchise and excited to honor the show’s legacy while adding her own spice. But not everyone was satisfied with Tyra’s special spice. Both fans and DWTS alums criticized her eccentric hosting style, from her over-the-top fashion choices to her alleged “diva-like” behavior.

Despite the lukewarm reception, Tyra continued hosting. Then, ahead of season 31, Disney tapped Alfonso Ribeiro to co-host alongside her. That same season, the long-running series jumped from ABC to Disney+, becoming the streamer’s first live-streamed broadcast.

When the show left ABC for Disney+, the executives described it as a “bold next step forward in the evolution of the franchise.” So perhaps saying goodbye to Tyra is just another small step forward in that evolution.

With Tyra out of the picture, fans are eager to learn if Alfonso will take on the hosting gig solo. Or, perhaps they’ll bring in another DWTS alumni to help him co-host. Either way, we’ll be watching when Season 32 hits Disney+ later this fall.

Kristen Doute Claims That Tom Schwartz Knew About Raquel Leviss And Tom Sandoval’s Affair “A Month Ago”

It may not be the best days of Ariana Madix’s life, but she is getting through just fine thanks to the support of friends and family. Vanderpump Rules fans at large have also rallied around the reality TV star. No one predicted that Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss were hooking up since the summer of 2022. But did anyone know about it before the news broke earlier this month?

VPR alum Kristen Doute made a claim on her Sex, Love and What Else Matters podcast last week. According to Us Weekly, she suspected that Sandoval’s BFF Tom Schwartz knew of the affair “a month ago.” And left it to the cheating duo to sort themselves out and come clean to Ariana.

Kristen revealed, “Schwartz only found out about it a month ago,” and that she and the Schwartz & Sandy’s co-founder were “texting yesterday” about the affair. This would mean that Schwartz knew that Sandoval and Raquel were hooking up in early February.

Kristen claimed that Katie Maloney’s ex-husband told Sandoval to take responsibility. She continued, “[Schwartz] said that he told [Sandoval] he needed to tell Ariana before it blew up in his face and humiliated the hell out of her … Too little too late.”

Despite the uncomfortable situation of their meeting, Kristen and Ariana are now good friends. Kristen dated Sandoval from 2007 to 2013, before he cheated on her with Ariana. So the friends were together at TomTom when Ariana found a sexually explicit video of Raquel on Sandoval’s phone.

Kristen described what went down, “During Tom [Sandoval’s] performance, his phone fell out of his pocket or something and somebody — a mutual friend — picks up his phone, hands it to Ariana. Ariana had his phone and she told me that she just had this gut intuition to look at it.”

Despite being “a trusting couple” (at the time anyway), and Ariana calling Tom “dedicated” shortly before the scandal surfaced, Ariana “just felt like she had to look.” Kristen explained, “So she went into his photos. He had screen recorded a FaceTime of him and Raquel masturbating with each other. That’s the truth.”

With no reason to hide now, Raquel has been “saying that [she and Sandoval] are in love and they have matching necklaces,” Kristen claimed. She also said that Sandoval was “gaslighting” Ariana and “blaming” her for not being “supportive” of his “endeavors.” According to Kristen, Tom told his ex-girlfriend, “You know we haven’t been happy.”

Needless to say, Kristen is Team Ariana. She shared a video on Instagram to support her friend. “I stan Ariana. This is in real-time. I love you so much.”

Some fans pointed out that VPR alum should feel vindicated. After all, Ariana smooched with Sandoval when he was with Kristen. Yet, she gets no satisfaction from Tom and Raquel’s disgraceful behavior.

Kristen took to her Instagram Story earlier to clarify. She said, “I don’t know why I feel like I need to make this clear, but there’s so many people right now wondering if this is making me happy. And you guys, Ariana and I’ve been really good friends for many, many years now. So, I am Team Ariana— all day, every day. That’s what’s up.” She added, “Karma is indeed coming. So Raquel should just move home.” 

The Pump Rules cast dating history is an intricate web. Kristen moved on from Sandoval with DJ James Kennedy. Kristen and James ended their relationship in September 2015. He started dating Raquel and introduced her to the VPR cast. Thanks, James! Sandoval added $25,000K to the budget when James proposed to the beauty pageant queen in May 2021. She called it off in December 2021.

Since then, Raquel has been on a self-proclaimed journey of sexual liberation and self-actualization. It ended the way it did. Raquel fled LA and issued a statement apologizing to Ariana.

Lala Kent Defends Being “Mean” To Raquel Leviss On Vanderpump Rules

Lala Kent isn’t exactly known for being the nice one on Vanderpump Rules. Or anywhere else. But on the most recent episode of VPR, her treatment of castmate Raquel Leviss rubbed some fans the wrong way.

The episode, a girls’ trip to Lake Havasu to cheer Katie Maloney up about her divorce, was cringe to watch as a viewer. It seemed forced and most certainly not an uplifting vibe. The drama was all about Lala and Raquel.

Now Lala is defending herself against those who think she took things too far with (former) “underdog” Raquel. As reported by Page Six, Lala took to her Instagram Stories to remind us why she was being a “mean girl” from the start.

Lala began, “My words are intense. I got that. Things I say at times are completely out of pocket. However, words are words. I’m about actions. Raquel was full of friendly words … her actions, not so much.”

She continued, “Some of you act so brand new to me. You know the drill by now. I’ve never liked Raquel. She’s always triggered me. NOW WE KNOW WHY.”

During an intense late-night conversation with Raquel, Lala expressed annoyance at Raquel’s drinking behavior. The two both went for the waiter and then-married son of Garcelle Beauvais, Oliver Saunders. Raquel ultimately won out, sucking face with Oliver that night.

A perturbed Lala later told Raquel she wouldn’t trust her around her man. An undeterred Raquel quipped that it was a good thing Lala didn’t have a man. But now we know that Lala and Katie’s suspicions were correct.

Just a few weeks ago it was revealed that Raquel and Tom Sandoval have been carrying on a seven-month-long affair behind Ariana Madix’s back. Ariana, who has been with Sandoval for almost a decade, was reportedly “blindsided” and quickly broke things off.

Since then, Lala has been extremely vocal about her support for Ariana. And her disdain for Raquel. The last time she addressed Raquel on Instagram, Lala was seething over Raquel’s legal team emailing out a demand to destroy an explicit video that Raquel sent Sandoval. Which is how Ariana found out about the affair. Lala went on to sell merchandise with a catchphrase that was part of her tirade.

While Raquel is certainly persona non grata now, she wasn’t at the time. And was quick to remind Lala that she slept with James Kennedy when Raquel was still with him. Additionally, Lala has always taken (rightful) heat over her relationship with her former fiancé, Randall Emmett, who was still legally married when Lala started dating him.

But Lala, who has been sober since 2018, noted that she has also made “many bad decisions in the past” while under the influence. “I made decisions I was not proud of. Things that wouldn’t have happened had I been clear and sober. It’s not an excuse, it’s fact,” she explained.

The single mother then concluded, “And unless you struggle with addiction you won’t understand, nor does your opinion have any place on this conversation.”

Bachelor Zach Shallcross Feels “Confident” About His Final Pick; Admits “It Wasn’t Pretty All the Time”

The Bachelor star Zach Shallcross began Season 27 with 30 women competing for his heart. But now that he’s down to his final three, he claims to be “confident” he’s found “the one.”

“I think it’s weird reliving it and watching it — it wasn’t pretty all the time, and it doesn’t get very pretty at later stages,” he admitted, likely referring to the drama coming up next week during Fantasy Suites. “But I truly do believe everything [happened] for a reason.”

“I feel confident,” he told People just prior to the Women Tell All taping. “Very confident, yes, absolutely. I’ve got a big grin on my face.”

Zach confessed to being “very nervous” going into the Women Tell All, saying he’s “not a big fan of public speaking.” That’s pretty obvious if you’ve ever heard him speak. He’s awkward AF, uses too many words (especially the word “like”), and doesn’t consider his listener’s feelings. But he hoped the WTA would give some closure to himself and the eliminated women.

“I think my heart was beating through my throat,” he said about facing all his ex-girlfriends. He hadn’t seen any of them since their elimination, so he was understandably nervous.

“It [almost like] night one again,” Zach said about seeing the women at the WTA. “All these beautiful women that are my exes are now staring at me, and may or may not like me. Honestly, it was a cool experience, though, to get to see them again.”

Admittedly, each rose ceremony grew harder and more painful as the season went on. As Zach developed feelings for women he then had to send home, he got more emotional, too.

“Every goodbye, at a certain point, [was] very hard,” he confessed. “It’s not like you just drop your feelings immediately.” Did you not watch Jason Mesnick’s season of The Bachelor, Zach? He was emotional. In fact, collapsing into a sobbing heap after sending someone home was actually called “going Mesnick” for a while there. But then Jason had other issues, too.

Going into Fantasy Week — or as Zach less delicately calls it, “Sex Week” — there are three women remaining: Kaity Biggar, Ariel Frenkel, and Gabi Elnicki. Despite Zach declaring “there would be no sex of any kind” in the Fantasy Suite, we know from the previews that something definitely happened.

I’m predicting Ariel is the one he’s rumored to have slept with during the overnight, and the other two women will be crushed. Can’t wait to find out!

Another week, another gold mine of Bravo content. I’m personally enjoying the art of it all. Like are we still watching these people as their characters? Or are they just a bunch of camera-hungry vagrants trying to grift off their fans and Instagram followers? And at what cost? Join me for what I’m watching this week. And let’s all laugh together at these self-absorbed jesters, shall we? 

Monday – Below Deck

This week is the finale episode of Below Deck. We’ll watch Ben Willoughby maneuver his way through a haphazard love triangle involving Camille Lamb and Leigh-Ann Smith. Unfortunately, it looks like we won’t be treated to a reunion follow-up with the rag-tag crew of Season 10. Ben, Ross McHarg and Alissa Humber better be thanking their lucky stars for that.

Monday – Summer House 

I don’t know. I sort of love watching this ridiculous relationship between Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard. I am paying good money to my cable company. It makes watching these two completely embarrass themselves for a check feel worth it. The unabashed desperation for camera time helps me feel good about my stance in life, from my couch, writing this opinion. Dark, I know. Join me this week and watch privileged white-collar adults humiliate themselves for some camera time, babe.

Tuesday – Real Housewives of New Jersey 

Similarly, I’m watching Real Housewives of New Jersey like a fly on the fourth wall. What in the hell are the Gorgas trying to pull off this season? We’ve gone from a music career and exploiting prison sentences to local comedy shows and forehead surgery slander. Peak bleak. And before you roast me for defending Teresa Giudice, I’m defending the unhinged masterpiece RHONJ once was. According to my calculations, things took a turn as soon as Joe Giudice left the scene. I know that might be hard to comprehend, but we need more camera-blind ingrates if we want any sort of future for these shows.

Before Hooking Up With Taylor Ann Green, Southern Charm Star Austen Kroll Said Dating Shep Rose’s Ex Would Go Against “Bro Code”

I need some drops for the amount of eye strain I’m going to have by the end of this article. They can only roll so much before the repeated action either throws me into a full seizure or I grab the Excedrin. That’s the price you pay when dealing with Austen Kroll.

Somehow Southern Charm was granted another chance. Because there’s nothing like watching the same fights over and over again. The crew will be down one person with the firing of Kathryn Dennis, but she didn’t show up a lot last season so you might not miss her.

Fans of Southern Charm watched Shep Rose finally get a “girlfriend.” It was blatantly obvious he wasn’t really head over heels in love with Taylor Ann Green. But Taylor thought if she wished hard enough and manifested an engagement ring on her vision board, it would appear. Well, Shep dumped Taylor and her ring finger is still bare. But the rumor mill is buzzing that Taylor hasn’t been crying over not landing an aging party boy with no clear aspirations for the future.

Instead of learning a lesson and using these new tools to move forward in a positive motion, Taylor hooked up with Austen. And here I sit yet again trying to comb through any possible reason this would look like a productive choice. Believe it or not, BEFORE Austen decided to play kissy face with his buddy’s ex-girlfriend, he had reservations about it. With most of Austen’s thoughts, it was only temporary.

According to Page Six, prior to locking lips and possibly other body parts with Taylor, Austen said it would have gone against “bro code.” MY EYES! He told Us Weekly since Taylor was Shep’s lady, it would defy the laws of friendship. But what is friendship when a willing woman is looking your way? Austen said, “[A hookup would] really cross a lot of lines and affect a bunch of friendships.”

Oh well. He added, “I love Taylor to pieces, and I cherish her friendship, and we’ve gotten very close.” Then they got CLOSER. Apparently, their bond grew over a discussion of their mutual break-ups. “She’ll talk to me about Shep, and I’ll talk to her about Olivia [Flowers],” Austen explained. Uh-huh. Nothing like a pity party to ignite those flames of lust.

Sources close to Southern Charm production implied Austen and Taylor tried to get away with the “we only made out” excuse, but allegedly more gets revealed. Additionally, the insider said Austen isn’t the only cast member Taylor has sampled. And that’s fine because she’s single and can do whatever the hell she wants.

Not too sure Taylor’s female co-stars are happy with her recent activities. The insider shared, “The girls don’t f–k with [Taylor] because they know she’s crazy and will do anything to climb the ladder.” Looks like all of the pots will be meeting the kettle in Season 9.

Most Memorable Siblings Of Real Housewives

The Real Housewives franchise focuses on an ensemble group of (allegedly) wealthy women. Their lives are documented for our entertainment, but there’s more to life than a singular cast member. Sometimes viewers get a bonus family member who isn’t a part of the main cast. A relative who unofficially stands as a “friend of” character. Real Housewives of New Jersey fans are delighted by the husbands who often seem to have their own side show going. And then we have… the siblings.

Not the siblings you’re forced to film with a la Joe Gorga and Teresa Giudice. I’m talking about family members who are along for the ride because their sister is on television. Friends won’t ride for you as hard as your direct relative unless you are on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Let’s take a look at some memorable siblings we’ve met on our Bravo journey.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta / Cynthia Bailey And Malorie Bailey-Massie

One of the tensest weddings we’ve ever witnessed is from Real Housewives of Atlanta. When Cynthia Bailey married Peter Thomas, Cynthia’s mom and sister were not feeling the bonds of holy matrimony. In essence, Peter wasn’t a genius with money and had already taken borrowed large amounts from his bride-to-be. Cynthia’s sister, Malorie Bailey-Massie made several appearances on RHOA over the years, but her performance on Cynthia’s wedding day was some grade-A content.

Along with Cynthia’s mom, they “misplaced” the happy couple’s wedding license, which would render the ceremony null and void. At the last minute, the license was “found” and Cynthia went on to marry Peter under the bones of a dinosaur. In 2011 Cynthia said, “I love Peter, and he loves me. Our relationship is not perfect, because we are not perfect. We don’t not always agree on everything, but we have each other’s back 100%. He pushes me and I push him. Our love is not based on money or materialistic things. We have both had plenty of that. I choose love over money every time.” Should have listened to Mal on that one.

Real Housewives Of New Jersey / Kathy Wakile And Rosie Pierri

When another relative Teresa hates joined the show, her sister came along for the ride. Tre’s cousin Kathy Wakile came in to steal Teresa’s thunder because according to Teresa, her family is fame and fortune hungry. Currently, the only person in Teresa’s immediate family to do jail time for being greedy is… Teresa and her ex-husband. Anyfraud, Kathy joined RHONJ in Season 3. As much as Teresa whined about family, her family was the last people she wanted to be around. But that’s okay because Kathy eventually won over Caroline Manzo and found there were people in the cast who would film with her.

Because this particular franchise centers around FAMILY, viewers met Kathy’s sister Rosie Pierri. At the time, Rosie was a breath of fresh air. She was no-nonsense. She took no crap from Teresa. And Rosie enjoyed a wholesome relationship with Joe Giudice that was a pleasure to watch. Often the comedic relief, Rosie would sit in the interview chair while sucking down some Scotch. RHONJ hasn’t seen Rosie since Kathy left the show because they were wished to the cornfield.

Real Housewives Of Miami / Joanna Krupa And Marta Krupa

Real Housewives of Miami is a show with a past. Before there was the RHOM you know now, there was the RHOM of yore. In Season 2, or as we like to call it, RHOM *BR (before reboot), Joanna Krupa appeared as a vision and joined the cast. Much to the dismay of Adriana de Moura. Joanna was a model and animal rights activist. A lot of her storyline revolved around a frustrating relationship with her fiancé and a strained relationship with her sister, Marta Krupa.

Marta might have been wide-eyed, but you got the feeling she wasn’t all that innocent. Aside from the lingering sexual tension that was often in place when Joanna’s fiancé Roman Zago and Marta shared a scene, Marta had no qualms about sharing her secrets with many. In a party scene where Marta may or may not have been heavily intoxicated and unaware of the words coming out of her mouth, she unloaded a previous sexual tryst with Joe Francis. You have to be incredibly sure of your station in life before admitting to that kind of potentially harmful information. We never saw Marta when Joanna left after only two seasons. I’m sure we can all join together and hope her future choices were a lot more considerate than her past.

Real Housewives Of New York / Leah McSweeney And Sarah McSweeney

What is happening with Real Housewives of New York? Did Jill Zarin really blow RHONY Legacy to hell all by herself? We need answers and no one is really talking about it. I am seeing some of the new RHONY ladies in the media, so I guess that’s positive. One cast member we won’t see ever again is the infamous Leah McSweeney. Man, Leah’s fall from grace was fast and it was impressive. She came in and took over, somehow managing to charm Ramona Singer. But her second season was a complete fail.

Fans learned a lot about Leah’s very interesting life and we also got to meet her very interesting sister. Sarah McSweeney showed up a lot, which gave Ramona a sad face. Sarah and her bangs got on Ramona’s nerves after being invited on several outings. Also, Sarah and Leah were paramount in the revelation of Ramona’s penchant for not using a restroom when she felt a knock at the back door. There was a very brief talk about Sarah joining the show, but Leah didn’t last long enough for that to come to fruition.

I’ll say it. I miss Porsha Williams on Real Housewives of Atlanta. I know Porsha eventually became the epitome of extra, but she was such a huge part of the show. This woman gave much of her life to reality television because she understood the game and she understood the assignment. Porsha’s family was always extremely important to her. During Porsha’s more personally trying times, we always saw Lauren Williams show up.

Porsha and Lauren were the real deal. Their relationship on camera appeared to be honest and truly one of the more pleasurable family interactions to watch. Now that both ladies are moms to little girls, I can only imagine it has deepened their already sturdy bond. Lauren did not handle people coming for her sister very well. She excused Kenya Moore from a surprise party for mocking Porsha’s Black Lives Matter participation. But Lauren would also check Porsha when she was acting out of pocket. Porsha repeatedly refers to her sister as her ride or die and Lauren has definitely earned that title. We could all use a little sister like Lauren.
