Below Deck Season 10 Episode 16 Recap: Piece of Cake

Season 10 of Below Deck has been shifty. We’ve swapped captains, half the stew department, and even love triangles. What a tangled web these yachties weave. Have you been keeping up? If not, I encourage you to catch up with a binge-watch before the reunion. We’re getting closer! With everything that we’ve seen this season and all the casting changes ahead, it’s sure to be one for the books! 

This week, we are welcomed back to Angel. The second most notorious guest of Season 10. I miss LaQuish. Anyways, let’s get into it. Here are the five main takeaways from this week’s episode. 

Angel Finds His Wings

Red Bull gives you wings and a Bloody Mary inside a Bloody Mary gives Angel the sleepies. This walking party foul dozed off on the water trampoline during the mid-day water activities. Captain Lee Rosbach convinces the guests to let Angel fly free, and they untether his floating bed from the boat. He floats away and only wakes up after Tony Duarte splashes him with a jet-ski. 

Eventually, Angel loses his voice, and Fraser Olender realizes this group of guests is actually quite lovely without their boisterous sidekick. They leave a fat $40,000 tip for the crew’s patience. It fuels quite the night out for the cast later in the episode.

Ross Sets A Goal

Bosun Ross McHarg and his deckhand Katie Glaser are openly flirting on deck during the charter. In her confessional Katie shares that she thinks Ross is “doing better.” She says there could be something more between them after the season is over. In his interview, Ross is clear that he sees no future with Katie at all. We also learn he did porn as “just a penis.” Little Mr. Mention It All.

When the crew goes out to party after the charter, Ross seizes his moment to flirt with randos at the bar. He returns to Katie to assure her she’s his “goal” for the evening. It’s repulsive. Even worse, it’s followed by yet another fight where Katie pleadingly calls this tiny-toothed Belieber “babe” and “honey.” She asks him why he’s spending time with people he’s never going to see again over her. Somehow Ross manages to convince her she’s pushing him away. 

In the morning daylight, Ross and Katie seem to mutually agree to keep their relationship fun, and completely non-committal. We’ve heard it before. Luckily we only have one episode left of this disaster either way.

Ben And Leigh-Ann Part 1

I’m enjoying Leigh-Ann Smith and her proud crush on Ben Willoughby. I think she deserves better, but I’m here for her confidence all the same. Rooting for you, Leigh!!

I really couldn’t tell what was going to happen with these two throughout the episode. Ben sure does know how to keep someone on their toes. During the guest’s club-themed party, Ben invites Leigh-Ann over to dance with him. He pulls her in close and says he’s “glad he got her to come [dance with him.]” It was unnecessary and very flirtatious. 

Ben then heads up to anchor watch where he calls Camille Lamb to apologize for missing her call. He tells her he was dancing, and wishing he was with her. He tells the viewers that he hasn’t told Camille about Leigh-Ann because “nothing has happened yet.” Emphasis on yet. 

Goodnight Doritos 

All she wanted was some Goodnight Doritos! Watching Hayley De Sola Pinto and Tyler Walker wasted in the crew mess was the highlight of the season for me. They were eating cake, throwing cake, and vacuuming cake with their nipples out. It was pure bliss. And I’m pretty sure they both literally peed their pants. 

More seriously, Hayley, Fraser, and Tyler have all formed deep friendships this season. They are supportive of each other both on the boat and in real life. Fraser has learned a new role, Tyler has gained confidence in his sexuality, and Hayley got to put those legendary new boobs to work. It’s so nice to watch the true relationships elevate and shine through on a show usually filled with troubled ocean runaways. Watching Tyler slip on the cake and smash his precious head into the wall was just an added bonus. 

Ben And Leigh-Ann Part 2

Leigh-Ann spends the better part of the episode asking everyone for the gory details on Camille and Ben but deciding to continue pursuing him anyways. Who put Ben juggling two women on their Below Deck bingo card this season?  

At the crew dinner, Ben strikes up a casual conversation with Leigh-Ann. He asks about the terrible relationship she just escaped from. At the club, he treats her to a complimentary strip tease. It’s more for him than her. In his confessional, Ben says “I’m cheeky and I just love playing with fire.” It sounds even grosser when he says it. 

Back on the boat, Fraser tries convincing Ben that he should be with Leigh-Ann over Camille. Can’t wait to see how that plays out at the reunion. Ben admits he’s falling a little more every time he talks to Leigh-Ann…and BAM. The teaser for next week looks like Leigh-Ann will get her day in the guest cabin.

Larsa Pippen Reveals She Felt Betrayed By The Kardashians In A Resurfaced Clip

Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen reveals she felt betrayed by the Kardashians in an old clip that resurfaced recently. Larsa used to be besties with the famous family a few years ago. But then the group had a falling out. 

Back in 2021, fans thought Kim Kardashian was throwing a bit of shade at the RHOM star after posting a selfie to Instagram. Her caption read, “They can steal your recipe but the sauce won’t taste the same.” However,  Kimmy clarified quickly after posting that she had no ulterior motives. “I don’t do subs. I want everyone to win.” Kim tweeted, “I just had a good caption LOL.” 

We don’t know for sure what turned the friends into frenemies. Still, Larsa detailed her disappointment in The Kardashians when she received backlash for her dating history with serial cheater Tristan Thompson. According to Page Six, in a clip from a February 2021 Hollywood Unlocked Interview, Larsa said, “Hell yeah” when asked if she felt “betrayed” by Kim and company.

“People were DMing me or writing me on Instagram and stuff, and on Twitter, like, ‘Oh, you’re no longer friends with them because you hooked up with Tristan,” Larsa explained. “I was like, ‘That’s not true.'” 

Larsa has received some pushback about her sketchy falling out with the Kardashian family on RHOM. Adriana de Moura, who isn’t Larsa’s biggest fan, slammed the star during Season 4 for only wanting to hang with their group after the superstar family dropped her.

Adriana took another dig at her co-star in an interview. She said, “Well, you know me, I always speak my mind. I’m trying to embrace her and be nonjudgmental over some personal choices, but she just changed so much, and I feel like she’s really trying to become Kim Kardashian.” 

Despite that, Larsa maintained that she and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim had a solid friendship. As much as we want to know what went down between this group of friends, we’ll likely never know the truth. However, Larsa revealed that her close relationship with Kim and Kanye West could’ve been what led to their downfall. 

“I was best friends with Kim, and I love her and I love Kanye, and I just was the person that was stuck in the middle,” she said during an episode of RHOM. “I took a beating because I was the friend that was basically there and saw everything. And that basically was the demise of our relationship.” 

Nevertheless, the Peacock star shared the former besties have progressed in their relationship. In January 2022, Larsa said, “I feel like we’re in a really good place. You know, I feel like there was a lot [of] miscommunication at the time.” She added, “We’ve all apologized to each other. We’re in a really good place.”

Vandepump Rules Alum Kristen Doute Slams Raquel Leviss; Says She Didn’t “Really Fit In With The Group”

I would love to start this off by saying Kristen Doute has entered the chat. But the Vanderpump Rules alum practically started the chat when Scandoval broke. Kristen was the first to post a pic with Ariana Madix after she found out about boyfriend Tom Sandoval’s shocking infidelity with Raquel Leviss.

People reported that Kristen had some thoughts to share about Raquel and the VPR group. She appeared on an “emergency” episode of Scheana Shay’s Scheananigans podcast. Said Kristen of Raquel, “I have always thought that she and James [Kennedy] are on the same exact level of being an opportunist.”

She added, “I had to remind myself that she was a fan of the show before she was on the show. And not that that makes everyone that way, but like, she didn’t organically really fit in with the group ever, at all.”

Kristen, who had long-term relationships with both Sandy and James, only recently decided to accept Raquel. “I chose — what was it, maybe a year ago — to stop hating Raquel or, like, hating on her,” Kristen noted.

The author and podcast host said that her first real conversation with Raquel was during Lala Kent’s first birthday party for daughter Ocean Kent Emmett. Kristen recalled, “That day at Ocean’s birthday party was like the most intelligent and well-spoken and put-together I had ever heard her be, without kind of barely blinking her eyes and just opening her mouth.”

Kristen went on to muse, “Just like these weird, dumb stares where I’m like, Why are you just looking at me like that? Like, What? Is your brain catching up? Like, I’m confused.” Lol. I think we were all confused by Raquel at one point.

Lala, who was also present for the episode, wondered if Raquel “had an actual conversation with anybody without short circuiting?” My guess is probably not. Then again, I suppose Raquel stopped short circuiting enough to enamor Sandy for the last 7 months.

While the news of Sandy’s betrayal is still fresh, Andy Cohen immediately deployed cameras to catch the drama. The affair will be featured in the current season of VPR, which is airing now. Additionally, the VPR reunion is scheduled to film in just two short weeks.

Aside from the unprecedented tension, there’s also just one teeny tiny problem with the much-anticipated reunion. Raquel’s order of protection against Scheana after accusing her of a “physical attack.” Scheana allegedly hit Raquel once she found out about the news. The incident allegedly happened right after appearing with her on an episode of Watch What Happens Live.

Raquel produced pictures of her eye. One picture featured a bandage on it and the others show a small gash on her eyebrow area. Scheana has vehemently denied she hit Raquel, saying that her claims are “a fabrication.”

But Lala thinks additional safety measures will be taken. “Security will definitely be amped up at the reunion,” she noted.

Scheana quipped, “We need to have cages. Everyone needs their own personal bodyguards.” But the VPR OG cast member probably wasn’t laughing the next day. Raquel filed the order just one day after Scheana recorded the podcast.

Raquel, a former beauty queen, is now known as one of the biggest VPR villains of all time. In a cast full of villains. So that’s saying a lot.

Shortly after Scandoval broke, Raquel told People, “Besides the indefensible circumstances surrounding our relationship, my feelings for Tom have always been sincere and born out of a loving friendship. Knowing how many people we hurt, I need to understand my choices and learn to make better ones.” A statement she also echoed in a post on her Instagram account.

Aside from being public enemy number one, Raquel is still trying to keep a sexually explicit video under wraps. It’s the same video that Ariana allegedly found that exposed the whole affair.

In an effort to keep it private, Raquel sent legal notices to her castmates, including Ariana and Sandy, with a warning not to share the video. A source told People that Ariana allegedly screen-recorded the video and sent it to herself. Her reasoning for doing so is unclear, but her need to have evidence isn’t exactly surprising.

The notice, sent by Raquel’s lawyer, claimed that the video was recorded “illegally” and “without the permission” of Raquel. Her counsel also advised anyone who has the recording to delete it from any “method in which the recording may exist.”

Understandably, no one on the podcast addressed whether or not they had seen or were in possession of the video.

Five Times Tom Sandoval Had Questionable Judgement On Vanderpump Rules

Vanderpump Rules is in full crisis mode. No one had high expectations of Season 10 but the fallout from a nuclear explosion is sure to keep the media busy until the reunion airs. In a cast full of people with a love of themselves and a love of a camera, Tom SandEvil often appeared to have minimal toxicity when lumped together with the group. But praising Tom for being the least problematic is kind of like picking the smartest Kardashian.

Some viewers clocked Tom a long time ago. Never a fan of his and never fell victim to his seemingly good guy persona. These are the people we should have listened to. After the revelation that Tom has been cheating on longtime love Ariana Madix, he has fallen from grace. Swiftly and without haste, the only one standing by Tom now is his work wife, Tom Schwartz.

Former Tom appreciators are currently filled with moments of sincere reflection. Were there signs? Did we miss things because Jax Taylor was always around to keep the heat off? Were we blinded by a man who portrayed someone that cared about others so much he would gladly open his own wallet to help friends? Let’s review some of Tom’s less-than glorious moments, now viewed with a fresh outlook.

Stassi’s Book Party

I have never been enamored of Stassi Schroeder. Her love of Ranch dressing and all things basic only seemed to solidify a lack of substance or any surmountable evidence she functions on a level above Fred Flinstone. That said, in 2020 Stassi wrote a book, Next Level Basic: The Definitive Basic Bitch Handbook. She wanted a book party to be held at Tom Tom. Stassi went through all proper procedures, speaking to Lisa Vanderpump and Schwartz, to organize her event. Sandoval did not feel sufficiently informed and proceeded to engage in a screaming match with Stassi whilst people stared in disbelief. It was ultimately a bad look for Tom because he stood there with a vitriolic smile on his face as Stassi reamed him a new one.

Revealing The Ariana/Lala Kent Hook-up

Things happen when you’re lost under a wave of vodka or… other stuff. Every Pump Rules fan knows the cast has no issue with being sexually free spirits. But sometimes a juicy (no pun intended) situation will take place when no cameras are around. Perhaps it was supposed to be a private moment only shared between the participating members. But if it happened around Tom, he will absolutely make sure he reveals it while filming. During a broseph interlude with Jax, Schwartz, James Kennedy, and Peter Madrigal, Tom joyously told the boys how Lala Kent and Ariana had taken day drinking into a night of deep diving. Ariana eventually called out Sandoval for trying “to sound cool in front of a bunch of guys.” He told her, “It’s not that big of a deal.” That red flag was just waving away.

The Bulldozer

To say Ariana has put up with a lot of crap is an understatement. But she is an adult who makes her own decisions and sometimes we have to live with those decisions after the fact. If your father’s passing leaves you melancholy and your significant other leaves for Vegas, do yourself a favor and leave your significant other. Back in 2015, Ariana was trying to celebrate her birthday. Surrounded by unicorns and bounce houses, she was suffering while celebrating. In an emotional conversation where Ariana basically begs for Tom’s support, he advises her he will be there forever – except for this one time because Peter arranged a bulldozing extravaganza that outweighed Ariana’s mental trauma. There were multiple red flags waving at this juncture.

Miami Girl

Thanks to recent events, Miami Girl is being seen in a whole new light. Once a seemingly desperate attempt by Kristen Doute to catch her ex-boyfriend in a bad spot, Kristen was probably spot on. But the situation was nuts and could only be fueled by someone with a grudge. When Kristen communicated with Annemarie Kunkel on social media, she learned Sandoval did some extracurricular activities when on holiday in Miami. Allegedly. Kristen took it upon herself to fly Annemarie out to California in an effort to parade her in front of both Tom and Ariana while they were at SUR. Tom ran away and Ariana followed him. Because of Kristen’s reputation for stalking being slightly obsessed with Tom, the whole ordeal made Kristen look like a Stage 5 clinger. Hindsight being 20/20 makes me wish Annemarie would make a special appearance at the Season 10 reunion.

The Villain Era

For smart people, Tom has always been a low-key villain. He was shielded by louder, more socially unmanageable folks in previous seasons and it benefited his character arc. After having it all: a beautiful partner, amazing house, participating in two bars with a lot of potential, and starring on a television show, Tom was feeling himself a bit too much. Now everything is at risk. Tom and Rachel Raquel Leviss have been engaging in a months-long affair. His 9-year relationship with Ariana is over. Due to fans boycotting, his businesses are at risk. The extremely careful persona he developed over the years has been destroyed. Rather than come clean to Ariana and disclose his infidelity privately and without humiliating her, he is now weaponizing her mental health. We all see how that worked out for him.

These are just a few of the more prominent times Tom has shown a questionable side on Pump Rules. Now, as he struggles to repair what’s left of his public image, this list could become longer in no time.

Lisa Vanderpump Believes Tom Schwartz Knew About Tom Sandoval And Raquel Leviss Affair

Lisa Vanderpump believes Tom Schwartz knew about Tom Sandoval’s messy affair with Raquel Leviss long before the news broke. Both men have appeared on VPR since Season 1 and have always been best friends. When Sandoval cheated with “Miami Girl” in earlier seasons, the men of the group, especially Schwartz, rallied around him. 

Due to their close friendship, it’s hard to believe Sandoval didn’t confide in his friend about his lack of morals. Page Six reported that LVP weighed in on the scandal on Watch What Happens Live. “I think they are so close he knew something, but we’ll find out,” Lisa said to Andy Cohen.

“I think they are so close, I mean I’d of been less surprised if you said Schwartz and Sandy got together rather than Sandoval and Raquel,” she teased. “I think he sits on the fence so tight it’s up his ass … He tries to placate everything and play both sides.”

In the summer, news broke about Tom Schwartz and Raquel’s scandalous hookup at Scheana Shay’s wedding. The news sent everyone into a spiral, including Katie Maloney. However, this recent revelation puts that dalliance in a new light. 

Former Pump Rules cast member Stassi Schroeder said, “It sounds like something that Sandoval would have come up with. He would be like, ‘This would be a great way to cover up.’ It’s a cover-up. And Raquel [was] like, ‘Yeah.’”

Raquel has been on the outs with the group since the news of her affair hit the streets. Even her ex-fiancé, James Kennedy, is coming for the reality star. According to Raquel’s restraining order, she was allegedly physically assaulted by Scheana. Raquel claims the confrontation left her with a bruised eye.  

“Although I chose to be on a reality show accepting the good and bad that comes with it, beyond my own actions, I have been physically assaulted, lost friendships, received death threats and hate emails in addition to having had my privacy violated,” Raquel wrote in her apology. 

Sandoval also issued his own lackluster apology urging fans to leave his business and Schwartz alone. “Schwartz specifically only found out about this very recently and most definitely did not condone my actions,” he wrote. He later issued a separate apology to Ariana.

Larsa Pippen Addresses Whether Fans Will See Marcus Jordan On Future Seasons Of Real Housewives of Miami

Things have already gotten very serious between the Real Housewives of Miami’s Larsa Pippen and her new boo Marcus Jordan. Back in September 2022, Larsa was spotted by the press getting nice and cozy with Marcus out in public. However, despite the rumor mill going, Larsa maintained she and Marcus were nothing more than friends. 

Then, in a move we were honestly all expecting, Larsa and Marcus became “Instagram official” in January 2023. In a photo she posted to her personal social media page, the RHOM star stood next to her man and captioned it, “Checks over stripes.” For those who may not get the reference, Larsa is pledging her allegiance to the Nike brand (home of the famous Michael Jordan sneakers) over their competitor Adidas. 

And now that the pair have officially let the world in on their special relationship, it seems like everyone has some burning questions. But the biggest of them all: Will Marcus appear on the new season of the Real Housewives? According to Page Six, Larsa wants to create a healthy balance between her career and her relationship. Consequently, Marcus will only appear on RHOM “a little bit,” per People.

“I don’t want to put too much pressure on him. I feel like he signed up for me,” Larsa said.

“I don’t think he signed up for the show, but I do feel like we’re together now, and if there’s events and there’s stuff he would normally go with me, so he’d come there, too.”

Here’s the thing: he did sign up for the show because he’s dating Larsa. The Real Housewives is a pop culture phenomenon. Anyone approached to do the show or who begins dating someone on the show understands what they’re signing up for. And if Marcus isn’t ready for that attention, welp–I hate to break the news–it’s coming. 

Larsa should reconsider how she plans to feature her relationship on the new season of RHOM. After her divorce from Scottie Pippen was finalized in December 2021, seeing the reality star with someone that makes her happy has been one of the only things on the viewers’ minds.

Raquel Leviss Alleges Scheana Shay Punched Her In The Face And Bruised Her Eye

Things are getting serious between some of the Vanderpump Rules cast members. After all of the drama concerning Tom Sandoval and his seven-month-long affair with Raquel Leviss, it’s safe to say those two are on the outs of the group. 

Though production for Season 10 of Pump Rules wrapped a while ago, sources close to production revealed cameras were up and rolling to capture the fallout among the group. “The majority of the cast is expected to gather and film … to share their reactions to Raquel and Sandoval’s affair. Mostly everyone is shook and completely heartbroken for Ariana [Madix],” they said. 

Ariana, Tom’s ex-girlfriend of almost 10 years, discovered his inappropriate relationship with Raquel, when she stumbled upon a sexual video and texts from her friend on Tom’s phone. It allegedly circulated around the group. Raquel’s legal team sent notices to her cast mates demanding they destroy any video or image they have of their client that’s sexual.

After tons of legal documents and fake apologies, there’s still more. Now, Raquel claims that her ex-bestie, Scheana Shay, punched her in the face after their Watch What Happens Live appearance. It allegedly left her eye bruised.

Page Six reports that in Raquel’s restraining order filed on March 7th, 2023, the reality star alleges Scheana “pushed her against a brick wall,” causing “injury” to her head. Additionally, she claims Scheana “punched” her in the face, leaving her with a black eye. 

Court documents allege that Scheana has not apologized to Raquel and is telling their friends that she would “do it again.”  Whew. Buckle up, Raquel, because I think you’re in for a long ride. Quite frankly, Scheana isn’t the VPR co-star she should be worried about: it’s Lala Kent I’d keep my eye on. That girl can read with the best of them, and given the pair’s past, this could’ve been the nail in the coffin.

After news of Raquel’s despicable behavior broke, Lala shared an update with fans. “I usually don’t get involved but now I am activated. I am activated as f—k. Now that I have consent from Ariana… blowtorch, gasoline, grenade launcher, it’s all ready,” she said.

Aside from that, Raquel’s restraining order also claims she has “blurred vision” and “swelling” to her left eye.

Vanderpump Rules Season 10 Episode 5 Recap: Rachel Vs. Lauren

We are five days into #Scandoval. So much has changed since the last time we were together. When we left off, Tom Schwartz was sniffling about “becoming a statistic” in his relationship with Katie Maloney. My how things have changed. Everything we watched tonight was through a “Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval are air-dropping nudes” sheen. I personally found it shiver-inducing. 

We soft open with Scheana Shay and Brock Davies rock climbing and vlogging. By the way, did you see that vlog clip of Raquel walking out of Sandy’s dressing room when she realized Scheana was vlog recording with him? I’m telling you, these tidbits are all I can think about in every scene. Please bear with me as we continue. 

A Life-Partner And A Mistress Walk Into A Boutique

Yup. We start right up with a scene featuring Raquel and Ariana Madix. They’re discussing Raquel’s boldness with Schwartz and her admission to Katie. Ariana says this may be the first time she has been mad at Raquel. It’s so dark. 

In her confessional, Raquel says Katie is hard to read because she “keeps a good poker face.” This is cut with a scene of her standing in a bikini discussing her love life with her boyfriend’s girlfriend. I promise not to dissect every literal second like this forever, but it’s going to take some adjusting. 

WeHo Shark Tank

Lisa Vanderpump is wheeling and dealing like nothing we’ve ever seen before. She makes the voyage to Schwartzy’s and is feeling charitable. She and Ken Vanderpump offer to give their chosen children their investment from Tom-Tom back. Lisa lets the boys know they can re-buy their way into their namesake establishment in the future. What a hilarious way to exploit these ding-dongs for profit. Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving pair! 

Later in the episode, Lisa curates a very forced “girls’ dinner,” and what do you know? Garcelle Beauvais’ son Oliver Saunders happens to be mic-ed and working today! Lala Kent quickly announces that Oliver would be her type if he wasn’t married. Lisa lets it slip that he’s actually separated. It’s almost like she’s producing this moment or something. 

LVP also pitches a sandwich shop location to Katie that’s around the bend from SUR. Katie seems intrigued. It’s fine with me so long as I’m not forced to watch.

Special shout out to the scene of Lisa epoxying a Claire’s statement necklace onto a golden dog statue. 

James’ Sobriety

James Kennedy and Ally Lewber go to lunch with James’ mom. We learn that James doesn’t drink around his mother to “keep it respectful.” Mazel to Mama Jaqueline for her four years of sobriety! 

The conversation turns to James being kicked out of a bar Raquel approaching Ally to review James cheating with Lala. James’ mom takes her opportunity to slam Raquel before she circles back to James’ drinking problem. Good. In her confessional, Ally shares that she found herself attracted to James initially because his sobriety was impressive and “mature.” She reveals things started changing after she caught him secretly drinking in Vegas.

Later in the episode, we watch James and Ally on a foot massage date. Ally tells James directly that she prefers him sober. James thinks that he’s doing just fine with his alcohol intake. He argues that he is maintaining a successful Tuesday night DJ gig. What more does she want from him? In his confessional, James says the next time he stops drinking it will be for himself and not his girlfriend. I’m still rooting for you, dude. Help yourself!

Ariana Grieves

This was tough. We start with Tom and Ariana snuggling their big dog. You remember. It’s the pet internet lurkers allege punctured Doodle-Graham in the throat in the early episodes of the season. No comment. I need to focus.

Ariana puts Tom on doggy medication management duty while she’s away on a girl’s trip in Vegas. Her other dog, Charlotte, is suffering from seizures in her old age. Old Char has been with Ariana since Tom was cheating on Kristen Doute.

Once the Pump Rules girls make it to Vegas, it’s all downhill. We are forced to endure a scene of Ariana crying over her dog’s breakthrough seizures. Watching her express absolute devastation is so heavy with what we know now. *Hugs to Ari* #teamariana

We’re then subjected to a scene of Sandoval and Ariana walking in to have their final moments with the actual love of Ariana’s life, Charlotte. Tom says he’s going to be there for “his girl” through her pain. Repulsive.

Girl’s Dinner

This scene was torture and completely unnatural. No way would these people ever find themselves sitting across from each other at a volitional dinner table. Was it bring your mother figure to work day? This meal had LVP, Raquel, Lala, Katie, and Katie’s actual mom.

Raquel takes ownership of her part in the Tom Schwartz flirtationship before she’s willing to take ownership of her first name. It’s Rachel, by the way. Too bad Katie brought her mommy along for the Vegas showdown. This woman admonishes Raqy for flirting with her daughter’s ex-husband. It was deeply embarrassing for Katie. 

Oliver’s Twist

We learn that Lala hasn’t had sex since she conceived her daughter in 2020. The more you know. During the girl’s dinner, Lala clearly expresses an interest in her server, Oliver. She’s met him before. Not that he remembers. Of course, where there’s a woman pursuing a man, Rachel isn’t far behind. Sloppy banana clip in tow. Look out, Lauren!

Oliver agrees to meet the girls out later for a drink. Raquel parks it directly between Lala and Oliver on a couch. Lala and Oliver are swiveling around trying to have a conversation about their children, but Raquel just doesn’t seem to notice. She’s gone completely Bambi-eyed. Eventually, Lala gives Raquel permission to pursue the soon-to-be single dad, and the rest is history. We end the episode with Raquel and Oliver making out on the dance floor. The fourth wall was left completely intact.
