Adiós, Miami! At least that’s what Dr. Nicole Martin is saying when it comes to her nuptials to fiancé Anthony Lopez. The Real Housewives of Miami star got engaged on New Year’s Eve 2021 while on vacation in Aspen. So it only makes sense that she is finally moving on to wedding planning.
Now she’s telling People that after attending multiple destination weddings as guests, she would like one of her own. Nicole began, “I just love the idea of the destination wedding vibe. In Miami, you get married, you’ve got four hours, and the party’s over. But when you travel, you’ve got a welcome night, then you have a day party, then the night party, and it’s four or five days where you really get to enjoy your people,” the bride-to-be explained.
So where is she thinking? Nicole said they have “thrown around the idea” of St. Barth, Greece, and Saint-Tropez. Overall, the couple is just hoping for “something fun.”
Given their busy schedules, the anesthesiologist hasn’t set an official date. But said they have “always been the type of couple that likes to do things on our own accord.” Nicole added, “People are like, ‘OK, you get engaged, you get married, then you have a kid.’ We were like, ‘Oh, f— it. We’re going to have a kid,’ and then we were like, ‘We’re never going to get married, and he’s like, ‘You know what? Screw it. Let’s get engaged.'”

The couple met at the Wynn Resort lobby in Las Vegas in 2015 and share a young son together. “When it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be,” Nicole shared. She also gushed that Anthony is “incredibly handsome,” and is “funny, and he’s sarcastic.”
Aside from all of Anthony’s attributes, Nicole stated that they “complement each other in the best ways.” Especially since they’re both “ambitious individuals.” She elaborated, “It’s hard to find someone that wants to see you succeed. I feel like people just don’t want their partner to do well because they want to keep them in a box or they want to keep them in a cage, but I feel like we both give each other the space to spread our wings,” Nicole added.
The RHOM housewife concluded, “At the end of the day, if you give your partner enough space, they’re always going to come back. It’s kind of like that whole bird in hand, let him go. And I just feel like we’ve got this thing where we just give each other the support that we need to grow.”

Katie Glaser is sounding off on the latest personnel move aboard the St. David. The Below Deck Deckhand recently shared her thoughts on Captain Sandy Yawn's decision to fire Stew Alissa...Luann De Lessep’s cabaret show is on a roll this week! First, a fan threw up on the former Countess from laughing too hard. Now Dorinda Medley was kicked out for allegedly being drunk. Believe it or not, these are completely unrelated stories. Never an uncool moment for the retired Real Housewives of New York ladies, I guess!
According to Page Six, money cannot buy you elegance or class. An allegedly “drunk” Dorinda was escorted out of Lu’s cabaret show after she was rude to staffers. A source close to Lu revealed that Dorinda was reportedly asked to leave and that she’s “been permanently banned from the club by management, never to step foot in there again.”
The source added, “She made several staffers actually cry, she was really drunk and kept yelling, ‘I don’t get paid to be here!’” Dorinda’s rep denied the claims. Dorinda supposedly left the event because she was suffering from a “routine cold” and didn’t want to “expose others.”
Her rep said, “She wanted to make her exit prior to the crowd exiting so she wouldn’t expose others to her cold, she arrived right at the start of the show for the same reason.”
Dorinda’s publicist continued, “She was never intoxicated and made no one cry, one of Luann’s cabaret employees was kind enough to order her an Uber to get safely home. The club never asked her to leave and you can confirm with ownership she would be welcomed back any time.”
The cabaret venue did not return requests for comment. Page Six also obtained a video of the event. Apparently, Dorinda was seen dancing near audience members and was not avoiding close contact as her rep had claimed.
An audience member also tattled to Page Six and co-signed the original source’s claims. They said that Dorinda appeared to be “drunk” and was in some type of disagreement with a staff member. The drama!
“When we got [to the lobby], it appeared she was in a convo with someone, a young woman manager, so we waited for a pic, but we quickly realized that this was not a convo and Dorinda was yelling at the woman and getting in her face,” the fan reported.
“The woman was very professional and took it. Dorinda was going on about how she basically was bringing liveliness to the show. It was almost as if Dorinda was implying she was the one that was getting the crowd riled up and causing them to have a great time,” the fan added.
There are claims that Dorinda returned to her table minutes later. The fan continued, “She was clearly drunk and getting drunker as the show progressed and she kept jumping up to be included in the show while Luann was on stage. The way she is on ‘RHONY’ was exactly as she behaved that night.”
Another lurker claimed, “One of the employees told us on the way out that [Dorinda] was drunk and rude to staff and that’s why they asked her to leave, especially since she thought she didn’t have to pay her tab which is what started all the madness.”
According to Page Six several other people who claimed to have also attended the show confirmed the incident on social media. Meanwhile, Dorinda went on Instagram Live to deny everything.
“No, I wasn’t escorted out — I left,” Dorinda announced. “No, I left because I was tired.” I’m sure our girl just needed to get home to a little wine, a roast chicken, and some Ghost Hunters.

The tides are turning over in Below Deck land. We’ve replaced 50% of the interior crew since Captain Sandy Yawn joined the boat in Captain Lee’s stead!
When we picked up for this week’s episode, Alissa Humber was in the bridge with Ross McHarg as a witness. Never a good sign. Sandy was just finishing her lecture on insubordination and the hierarchy of yachting. Let’s get into it!
So yeah, Alissa is hanging up her hat as a “workhorse.” She was fired for calling Captain Sandy by her first name the day before. Ross is instructed to escort Alissa off the boat, and I guess this is the closest they’ll get to a first date. At least on camera.
After her lecture from Sandy, Alissa gives a curt “thank you” before walking out of the bridge and mumbling “that was so funny.” When she recounts the story to the rest of the crew, she tells them she was fired for “literally nothing.” Love that narrative for her.
Sandy gathers the remaining crew to assure them that the malicious gossip will no longer plague the boat. She then calls chef Rachel Hargrove to the bridge to have a secret u-rah-rah without all the little people. So long as we don’t have to endure another volleyball scene, I’ll take it.
The guests walk down the boardwalk in their full pageant gear, and I just know it’s going to be good. I didn’t expect it to be turkey-club-sandwich-in-a-cloche good, but I really am loving this messy, needy bunch.
As soon as the group of pageant queens set sail, LaQuish gets to work. LaQuish may be the only charter guest to get her own bolded name on this website this season, and she has earned it. Just before lunch is set to come out, LaQuish requests a club sandwich for only herself. The entire thing goes uneaten while she sits at the lunch table, banging her cutlery, literally yelling “luuuuuuuunch” into the Caribbean seascape. It’s very annoying but also hysterical. I can’t help but think, ‘What would Alissa say about this?’
Later in the evening, LaQuish has Tyler Walker tuck her into bed in the main salon. She has him fetch her a sheet to set up on the couch, and that’s where she sleeps. On a couch on a mega yacht. She’s roughing it because the rooms are too small and “creepy.” Totally makes sense. Later, she asks Rachel to make her a 24-karat gold-wrapped steak. She came to do it all.
Sandy has already put in a call for a new stew. In the meantime, she offers to help the interior with turndowns. Tyler is assigned to train Sandy, and I can feel his annoyance for having to explain starching, folding, and towel pick-up to a fill-in. This man with his obsession for perfection does not see cleaning cabins as a group project. Just get out of his way already!
The guests also have a lot of preferences for their food. One is gluten-free, another is on an anti-inflammation diet, and then there’s LaQuish. Fraser Olender is threatening to crack in his confessional, but he seems to be holding things together thus far. He admits that he feels better without Alissa on board. In his words, Sandy helped him drop the weights he didn’t know he was carrying. I’m actually just happy to have this entire dynamic resolved. Hopefully, some fresh drama is on the way!
Yes, they’re still happening. Let’s start with Ross and Katie Glaser.
Ross had a moment of sadness when Alissa left the boat, which I found unexpected. He semi-acknowledged his fling with Alissa in his confessional. I felt like that was a rookie mistake for a nearly 40-year-old man who exploits his bosun status for the female gaze. We’ll relive this moment at the reunion. More predictably, Ross spends the rest of the episode commenting on Katie’s body in a bikini and overusing the word “hard.” Katie is making plans to break up with Ross after the charter, but let’s wait and see how that turns out. She’s tricked us before.
Now onto Ben Willoughby and Camille Lamb. Because yes, they are still a thing, too. Ben wasted no time in calling Camille to tell her the good word about Alissa’s firing. These two apparently have plans to meet up in the Dominican after the charter season is over. Again, let’s wait and see how that turns out. It’s only a matter of time before Ben’s ex-sext buddy joins the St. David cast and crew!
This week’s episode ended with two slight twists. For one thing, Captain Lee gave Sandy a ring and told her he’ll be back on the yacht in a couple of days. Wahoo!!
More hilariously, Hayley De Sola Pinto was caught gossiping about the pagent queens and rolling around on the beds by one of the charter guests! The secondhand embarrassment was so serious. As soon as she saw the guest walk in Hayley stood up straight, started fixing the duvet, and repeated how loved the intruder is. So good, and so bad. I cannot wait to see how this turns out.

Another Below Deck season 10 crew member has set sail from the St. David. Four weeks after Captain Sandy Yawn fired Stew Camille Lamb for slacking on the job, Stew Alissa Humber was sent packing...We’re back for another installment of What I’m Watching This Week. Last week, Bravo was leaning hard into their recent overuse of cliffhangers and “To Be Continued” teasers. Do we owe this new pattern to binge-watch culture? I do love a good rewatch myself. If you’re all caught up on Bravo and reality TV right now, join me for what I’m watching this week!
Okay– so it wasn’t an official cliffhanger, but we’ve had to wait an entire week to finally see the first reunion episode for Season 7 of Real Housewives of Potomac. Somehow production managed to squeeze out three reunion episodes for us. I hope the RHOP men came prepared. We can look forward to Ashley Darby giving the details on her prenup with that weird giggly elderly man. We’ll also have to relive another attack on Chris Bassett followed by more Peter Thomas content. I’m mostly here for Karen Huger’s attack on Juan Dixon. Apparently, she has receipts for us!
Watch on Bravo Sunday at 8 PM ET.
What is going to happen with Alissa Humber this week on Below Deck? When we left off, Alissa was called to the bridge by Captain Sandy Yawn with Ross McHarg present as a witness. That’s never a good sign. Alissa had given Sandy some serious attitude at the end of last week’s episode, referring to her captain by first name only. And this was immediately following a lesson on the hierarchy! The horror! We’re still waiting to learn who the mystery blonde yachtie from the mid-season trailer is here to replace. Seems like we’re getting closer to the answer.
Watch on Bravo Monday at 8 PM ET.

Season 7 of Summer House is almost unrecognizable. For one thing, there are only three men in the house, two of whom are in long-term relationships. Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula are doing the same-old basic storyline we’ve seen over a thousand times. First comes love, then comes marriage. Third comes a season to talk about fertility, and by Season 8 we might just have a baby in a baby carriage. They’re even shilling their side hustle in nearly every scene. You could follow any rando from your graduating high school class for the exact same content, but why not join me by watching these rich east coast blondes instead?
Watch on Bravo Monday at 9 PM ET.
Yet another cliffhanger and this one left me in a serious panic. When we last left the Real Housewives of Miami ladies, Adriana De Moura was about to get her newly lifted ass handed to her compliments of Alexia Echevarria. Adriana is bothered because her foot was injured after some lighthearted roughhousing between the women in the Bahamas. Though the injury was a mistake, it’s unacceptable to Adriana. She tries to express her turmoil to Alexia by likening the situation to Frankie Rosello’s accident which left him with a life-altering traumatic brain injury. It was bad. And say what you will about Alexia the Cuban Barbie, I can’t wait to see how she takes this rage out on the group.
New episodes are released Thursday on Peacock.
Downfall: The Case Against Boeing is a great documentary streaming on Netflix. If you’re interested in more than just the Tom Girardi of it all, this film has you covered. It follows the rise and fall of Boeing’s adherence to safety standards in the airplane industry which eventually resulted in the Lion Air and Ethiopian Airline crashes, killing over 300 people. Though the crashes happened in 2018 and 2019, the systemic issues between engineering standards, safety procedures, and profit feel very timely.
Stream on Netflix now.

Forget winter, adaptations are coming! With the recent successes of House of the Dragon, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and The Summer I Turned Pretty, it's a great time to be a reader...If no one has said it, I’ll go ahead. Dancing with the Stars is not the same without Tom Bergeron. He was funny. He was an experienced personality. And he was replaced by Tyra Banks so she could wear elaborate outfits and smize at the audience.
Tom hosted DWTS for 28 seasons. Over that long period of time, he was able to create many memories. Recently he took to Instagram to reflect on some good times. He also shared what he misses most about the dance show days.
It wasn’t learning new hot moves or meeting exciting people. Heavy. shared Tom’s unexpected revelation. He posted a photo of himself flying through the air a la Luke Skywalker and said, “I’m often asked what I miss most about the dance show. It’s easy… the zip lining. #throwback”
Mirrorball champ extraordinaire Alfonso Ribeiro commented under Tom’s post. He wrote, “I remember when I got stuck. Not the best memory.” I guess we can’t all get our jollies from randomly flying over people’s heads.
For roughly 15 years, Tom presided over DWTS. Before the start of the show’s Season 29, Tyra took his place. Alfonso joined Tyra prior to Season 31 of the ballroom dancing competition.
The executive producer that fired Tom only spent five seasons at DWTS and is already gone. Tom and co-host Erin Andrews had no desire to leave, and many viewers still prefer the duo over Tyra heading the show.
The professional dancers also didn’t appreciate the structural alterations the now-departed executive producer made. He swapped out the episode opening dances for a spectacular entrance for Tyra to show off a spangly frock. #justicefortomanderin
If you miss Tom as much as I do, don’t fret. He has “multiple TV projects” standing by. Dancing with the Stars will be back later in 2023.

If you were surprised to learn that Paris Hilton and Carter Reum welcomed a baby boy into the world earlier this year, you weren’t the only one. Even her family didn’t know about the surrogate pregnancy. The socialite and reality TV star is currently gracing the cover of Harper’s Bazaar. In the surprisingly candid interview, she gave fans a peak into her new life as a wife and a mother. In her chat with the publication, she shared the great lengths that she and Carter went to keep the news of their baby a secret.
Of course, it’s not totally unheard of for a celebrity to keep their surrogacy journey private. However, it’s shocking to learn that even Paris and Carter’s families were kept out of the loop.
“My entire life has been so public,” Paris explained in the cover story, as reported by Page Six. “I’ve never had anything for myself. We decided that we wanted to have this whole experience to ourselves.”
The couple, who tied the knot in November 2021, went to great lengths to keep the news of the pregnancy from leaking. When Paris went to the hospital, she wore a brunette wig as a disguise. She even lied to her house staff, telling them that she was having her house painted to keep them away. It all worked because the world was super surprised when she announced the birth of her son.
The announcement came via Instagram with an adorable picture of her holding her little one’s hand. Just before the Instagram post went live, Paris and Carter filled their families in on the exciting news. Can you imagine Kathy Hilton’s reaction to finding out about her surprise new grandson? She must have been thrilled. Or, was she still too busy recovering from the last season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
RELATED: Paris Hilton Skipped DJ Gig For President Joe Biden To Attend Britney Spears’ Wedding
Paris also teased that she and Carter probably aren’t done growing their family. She admitted wanting more children and recently completed her seventh egg retrieval. She told the outlet, “I’m more interested in babies than billions.”
Although Paris is putting babies over billions, she isn’t interested in immediately throwing her baby into the spotlight. So far, we’ve only seen a glimpse of the baby’s hand, and the couple hasn’t revealed his name. Paris did share that she likes to sing her baby her iconic pop song, “Stars Are Blind,” which is kind of the cutest thing ever.
While Paris and Carter keep their growing family private for now, it likely won’t stay that way for too long. Peacock just greenlit Season 2 of Paris in Love. So, If the first season followed her wedding to Carter, then the second season will undoubtedly touch on the love she’s found in her new motherhood journey.

Wes Bentley knows good things rarely last forever—especially in the world of prestige television. After Deadline reported earlier this month that Yellowstone was planning to move on from star...When we left the motley Vanderpump Rules crew, Tom Schwartz was using his divorce from Katie Maloney as an excuse for hanging out with Randall Emmett. What a choice! Lala Kent was clear with Tom that he needed to stand for something in their friendship, and if he was going to choose her repulsive cheating ex, she would cut Tommy out of her life. Fair enough.
This week, we start strong. Tom Schwartz is in a bucket hat. A clear signal that it’s only a matter of time until he’s trying to find an inexperienced 20-something to solve his self-inflicted problems. Make yourself a pumptini and join us!
The episode starts off with Tom Sandoval and Schwartzy receiving sage advice from their business partner, Greg. Greg tells the boys that they should consider hiring people who can do their jobs to work at a Daily Mail soft-opening party. Someone needs to get these kids a notepad for these life lessons because quickly, Schwartz begins asking applicants questions about their taste in floppy hat fashion. Then the boys do some trapper keeper schtick thing, because what’s a Tom and Tom scene without a childish gimmick?
Greg is completely embarrassed about his partnership with the Toms. At the Daily Mail party, he pulls Lisa Vanderpump aside to let her know she has completely failed in rearing these two for the industry. What did he expect? I’m pretty sure her own son is still bussing tables. Lisa basically laughs in his face and that’s that.
This is a Raquel Leviss fan page now. You’ve been warned. I’m absolutely obsessed with this Bambi-eyed goddess. She’s giving us everything as she makes her way through a long-term breakup. Early in the episode Raqy and Peter Madrigal are on their “casual” date. Peter thinks this means wearing a white T-shirt. Raquel thinks this means crying in public over her final pageant competition and her current battle with depression. She’s not holding back at all and I am captivated.
Raquel admits things have been hard since her split from James Kennedy. She’s having to pay for her own life, and, in her words, “it’s expensive.” I’m still rooting for Raquel to pursue her master’s in occupational therapy and leave this group behind. Raquel also reveals that seeing James with Ally Lewber has made her realize she may not be over her long-term relationship like she had previously thought. Again, I’m just loving her shamelessness. And not a trapper keeper, brass instrument, or instruction manual cocktail in sight! Pure realness. We need that.
For his part, James is eating lettuce out of Ally’s mouth in a public setting in broad daylight. He’s stroking her straight-cut brown hair and telling her he’s never seen another woman with such beautiful locks. In her confessional, Ally admits she feels James is moving a little too quickly. It just keeps getting bleaker and bleaker for these men, I swear.
RELATED: Raquel Leviss Reacts To News That James Kennedy Cheated On Her With Lala Kent
Katie and Lala have a spray tan date, and Lala is going ga-ga for Katie’s bawdy. Katie admits it’s the first time someone has complimented her tits or ass in years. I truly feel for this girl despite finding her mostly unbearable for the last nine seasons of this show.
Lala shares that she’s been texting the man she met at James’ gig in the last episode, and she wants Katie to join her for a group date. Should be fun, so long as Katie can get away from being the sole caregiver for her dogs. Apparently, Tom is still relying on Katie to take care of his doggy-parenting chores. He doesn’t seem to understand Katie no longer owes him anything, and that includes handling his responsibilities.
Lala later attends tea with LVP. Lisa says what we’re all thinking, and questions how Laler was able to ignore every single red flag Randall waved in her direction. Lala maintains that she was just young, dumb, and in need of a Range Rover. She breaks down sobbing over the bloated grifter, but I’m not letting her off the hook for this cluster-f**k of a relationship just yet.
Scheana Shay and Ariana Madix head over to Raquel’s new apartment to have some girl time. Am I the only one who thinks Ariana has risen to the level of Next Level Basic around here? The sea-creature extension moment was a little to “trapper keeper” for my taste. Just me?
Raquel shares that she recently learned about boundaries, and I feel like I’m watching her grow up before my very eyes. Scheana encourages Raquel to use her newfound confidence to be honest with Peter about her feelings. Raquel admits she has no interest in making out with Peter when she’s sober, and Ariana calls her the Forrest Gump of dating in her confessional. The comedy chops on this one.
Later in the episode, LVP pulls Peter aside to remind him it’s not 2012 around here. He can’t be having sexual or romantic relationships with his underlings anymore. Was that really normalized in 2012, though? I always thought Lisa was just exploiting her employee’s lack of knowledge regarding boundaries for ratings on her show. The entire explanation was uncomfortable. To make matters worse, Raquel follows it up by breaking things off with Peter for the simple fact that she’s not attracted to him anyways. Painful.
Just typing it gives me the ick. Then we have to ensure the Toms making spitting and swallowing jokes over cocktail tasting. I don’t want to overuse the “B-word”, but it’s giving Next Level Basic, and I’m bored.
So here we are, at Schwartz and Sandy’s, which has yet to actually open. The final scenes of the episode are the Daily Mail soft-opening party for the bar. Tom and Katie see each other face-to-face, and they confront the reality of their bummer relationship. Katie calls Tom out for never choosing her over anything, and Tom just keeps repeating his lackluster regrets.
Scheana also pulls Schwartz aside for a little heart-to-heart. Tom tells her he hasn’t been dating much because he still feels married and that would be like cheating. Someone explain to me how Tom is more loyal in divorce than he was in his marriage. Just like his middle-aged bucket hat, it’s not making any sense. Scheana then asks Tom to interview on her podcast. And we all know how that turns out.

We love a girl with a goal, and Gia Giudice has a big one. Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter is in the early stages of a legal career. And she has some big plans for the future. According to Page Six, she wants to use her legal knowledge to have her father’s immigration status “reevaluated.”
Gia’s goal might sound lofty, but she’s already making some solid steps in building a legal career. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star is currently a senior at Rutgers University. She is majoring in criminal justice and minoring in sociology.
She’s also been interning at two law offices. One internship is with an immigration attorney who expressed interest in her father’s case. “They were interested in possibly, potentially looking at his case again — just in the future, if they would be able to do anything for him,” she explained of her employer.
Gia continued, “I was like, ‘Honestly, Dad, yeah. Like, this could be amazing.’ And it’s been so cool, like, just seeing other immigration cases that are completely different than what my father’s [was] and just the situations that these people have been put through.”
Gia’s dad, Joe Giudice, was deported back to Italy in 2019. His deportation followed a three-year prison stint for fraud. Since then, he’s relocated to the Bahamas to make family visitations a little less complicated. But Gia wants to see her dad back in the United States.
RELATED: Joe Giudice Says He’s Launching A Legal Consulting Firm
“We have such a big family, and no matter what the situation is, gathering all of us to go visit him [is hard]. Even though he did move to Bahamas for us, for him to be closer, for the flight to be easier … like, plane tickets are still crazy expensive, and especially when everybody has off around the holidays [and] the airlines jump the prices up,” Gia explained.
“It is hard for everybody to see him, rather than just one person being able to come here, like during holidays or birthdays, would just be like a dream come true,” she continued.
Gia noted that he was never a “flight risk” or a “threat to society.” It’s not like Joe was scamming elderly people or allegedly misappropriating funds from plane crash victims. She added, “I just feel like that if that whole aspect of it can get reevaluated, that maybe he could have a chance of coming back temporarily here and there.”
Although Gia’s got some big goals for her career, she is surprisingly grounded in discussing her future plans. It’s something you don’t often see in kids who grew up on reality TV. She shared that she plans to head to law school after graduation from Rutgers this spring. Plus, she’s already got another internship lined up with a human relations law firm. So if Joe can hold on for a few more years in the Bahamas, Gia might really be able to make some change.

Real Housewives of New Jersey never wastes any time introducing plenty of dramatic storylines to carry us through the reunion. We’re just a couple of episodes into Season 13 and there are already so many feuds to keep track of. It doesn’t help that we have three newbies in the mix who are earning their spots on the Teresa Giudice show.
The latest RHONJ episode finally shows the tension between Tre and the Gorgas boiling over. Melissa Gorga can’t bite her tongue any longer and isn’t ready to feel the love love love with Tre. Check out the five main takeaways from RHONJ Season 13 Episode 2, “Family, Family, Family.”
We’re only two episodes into this season of RHONJ and I can already tell MelGo is going to get on my last nerve. Sometimes, I can sympathize with Joe Gorga and his wife because Tre is stubborn and very often wrong. But it seems like the tension is different this year, especially as Tre enters a new, calmer phase of life with Luis Ruelas. The Gorgas seem hung up on appearances, like taking red-carpet photos with Tre or being involved in her wedding, rather than working on genuinely repairing the relationship outside of the TV show.
MelGo and Tarzan spend plenty of one-on-one time (on camera, of course) venting about Tre and Luis, but it comes to a head during the episode. The infamous seating chart at Tre and Luis’ engagement party was brought up, where the Gorgas allegedly sat at the “friends” table rather than the “family” table. Tre tries to say it was a mistake and that MelGo actually wanted to sit at another table, which activates Melissa. She tells Tre she’s done hearing her speak about “family, family, family” when they can’t even get along.
The entire conversation seemed overblown (as most Real Housewives fights) and shouldn’t have been a catalyst to such a relationship-altering decision like Joey skipping Tre’s big day. IDK, are other people actually siding with the Gorgas on this one? It’s clearly a layered issue, but I’m not buying their “poor me” excuse any longer. Also, I’m seeing Melissa as an instigator rather than a peacemaker, which will never be the right answer.
Dolores Catania is done being seen as an RHONJ sidekick. Not only has she found her new man Paul Connell, but she also fully embraced her Paterson Dolores side. She’s putting her foot down with Frank Catania when it comes to setting boundaries in their relationship. Mostly, Dolo is spending her screen time calling out the so-called “C. U. Next. Tuesday” that she thinks Jennifer Aydin is.
Jennifer is forever my problematic fave. It doesn’t even make sense why she and Dolores are fighting to this extreme. Dolo takes being a friend so seriously that Jennifer throwing a few digs was enough to ruin their tight bond. At Danielle Cabral’s house party, Dolo is less than enthused to be reunited with Jennifer so quickly after their last brawl. “I’m gonna smash her f–king face in,” Dolores says under her breath. See — she’s cutthroat this season and all of the RHONJ ladies better watch their backs. Especially Tre, who is caught dead in the middle of this losing battle.
Tre is knee-deep in wedding planning and sparing no expense. The party of the year has to have everything — a massive guest list, circus performers, fireworks, the whole nine yards. The first step is sending out invites, which is no small feat for a popular girl like Tre. While the invites were beautiful with etched glass and fresh flowers, Tre didn’t expect a little disaster called Ramona Singer to come crashing in.
If you remember back to Tre’s road to the altar, Ramona was so excited to get invited. In fact, she couldn’t help herself from sharing the private details of Tre’s ceremony with her TONS OF INSTAGRAM FOLLOWERS. Classic Ramona. Tre is seen in the episode stressing about redoing the details and fixing the mess that Ramona made. It’s a fun moment to see a mention of the Real Housewives of New York OG who we probably won’t see much of on TV anymore. She may be gone, but never forgotten.
It’s only right to take a moment to honor the addition of Danielle Cabral to RHONJ. She’s a Jersey girl through and through. Her home life is interesting as she’s fabulous, but still on the humble side. She can’t get over the Taj Mahal that is Jennifer’s massive house in Paramus. It’s relatable to see a Housewife who is nervous to host a party at her house because it isn’t as big as her co-stars. Also, her kid gets a bonus point for his hilarious “adult” British accent that included dropping an F-Bomb. Reality TV gold.
Danielle really shows us who she is in this episode with her mozzarella-making party. She has a background in party planning so it’s over-the-top, even in her so-called humble abode. The ladies have fun (honestly, a little too much) watching a hunky Italian stretch fresh mozzarella in the backyard. “A bunch of sick f–ks right now getting turned on by cheese,” Dolores screams at one point. These light moments are mixed in with all of the aforementioned screaming matches, but that’s what keeps it interesting. Have I mentioned I freakin’ love RHONJ?
Jennifer and Margaret Josephs were on a good track toward reconciliation for about two seconds. That is, until this episode when Marge learns that Jennifer was digging up dirt on her. Jennifer reveals that one of Marge’s ex-besties reached out to give her and Tre some tea on her old friend. They confirm that the woman told them that Marge is a pot stirrer who does her own digging, but the more interesting part was a secret they kept under wraps. Jennifer says she won’t reveal it unless Marge really does something to make her mad, which doesn’t seem like it’ll take long. I was relating again to Danielle during this scene who was dying to know Tre and Jennifer’s dirty little secret.
At Danielle’s party, Margaret confronts Jennifer about stirring the pot. It escalates quickly, even though Jennifer owns up to it. Marge just won’t hear Jennifer out and then starts accusing her of having “marijuana paranoia.” Girl, what? Margaret doubles down in a gross way that Jennifer needs therapy and help, which is just mean girl behavior. It’s safe to say the majority of the RHONJ girls love a little gossip. It seemed overblown for Marge to get this upset about Jennifer, especially knowing that Messy Jen might have some secret dirt up her sleeve.
