Real Housewives Of Miami Season 5 Episode 9 Recap: Larsa Pippen Starts Beef With Nicole Martin

It may be a new year, but it’s just another week for an absolutely must-watch episode of Real Housewives of Miami. Season 5 on Peacock is dynamic for so many reasons aside from the disaster that is Lisa Hochstein’s divorce. Every lady brings something unique to the series that’s a mix of humor, drama, and genuine life that’s truly a joy to watch. Seriously, I could watch Marysol Patton avoid goats in diapers while rummaging for vodka in Julia Lemigova’s house on a loop for life.

Peacock recently aired the ninth episode of the season titled “Hot Off The Press” which basically turns Page Six into an unofficial mojito holder. It’s another episode featuring Lenny Hochstein torturing Lisa, Larsa Pippen being messy, and all of the other goofy moments that make Miami so great. Here are five main takeaways from the latest RHOM episode.

Larsa Gifts Nicole A Storyline

Larsa is not taking off her messy boots during Season 5 of RHOM and I’m kind of living for it. Would I want to be her friend? Absolutely not, but it makes her much more of an entertaining TV character. This week, she beefs with Nicole Martin. It honestly feels like this is the first time I’m even mentioning Nicole’s name in an RHOM recap which is unacceptable for any full-time cast member. Unless she’s making her husband fly the ladies around in a private jet, Nicole is pretty low-key. She’s exactly someone I would want to be friends with IRL, but she needs to step it up a bit by Real Housewives standards.

Anyways, Nicole has an issue with Larsa because Miss Messy always brings up that Nicole’s ex-husband was a teacher. Yes, it’s petty which is why it’s entertaining. Nicole feels like Larsa is belittling her ex’s profession because she won’t stop mentioning it. The doctor tries to express to Larsa that she feels that it’s condescending, but Larsa doesn’t take to the civil conversation kindly. She basically brings up another massive bomb that people allege that Nicole sleeps with every doctor at the hospital. “Who are you to judge me?” Larsa quips at the end before the dreaded “To be continued.” Larsa is using her fighting words this season, but maybe Nicole should be 1% thankful. Larsa did give her a storyline this season to make her last through the reunion. Miss Pippen has her producer hat on at all times.

Life Is Weird On Planet Lenny

Lenny is back to more antics in the press this week. The RHOM episode kicks off with the ladies discussing the tabloids and how Lenny gave a statement to Page Six about the divorce and his new girlfriend. This is just days after Lenny told the outlet that he and Lisa were hunky-dory, further proving to me that this man is senseless. He isn’t even sleeping in his family home, yet is eager to find Lisa a new place to move so he can kick her out, with or without the kids. Lenny’s new girlfriend also took advantage of her 15-seconds by giving statements to the press, which royally pissed off Lisa.

After reading the B.S. from Lenny’s girlfriend, Lisa calls her ex to let him know that she doesn’t condone his disgusting behavior. She goes as far as to tell him that if he cared about the kids that he wouldn’t be letting his girlfriend air out dirty laundry, and Lenny snaps back with a dry “F–k you.” So harsh. The most absurd part is that a mere 20 minutes after the call, Lenny texts Lisa and asks her to pick a few things up from the grocery store for him. You couldn’t pay me enough money to live inside of Lenny’s brain for a day, let alone have to deal with him as a partner. “Lenny has lost his mind,” Larsa says bluntly. You could say that again.

Julia Is A Rare Gem Of Real Housewives

There is not and will not ever be another Real Housewives star like Julia. Not only is she the first full-time cast member in an LGBTQ+ marriage, but she’s an absolute ray of light. The ongoing Lisa and Lenny drama inspired her to be more mindful of her relationship with Martina Navratilova. She decides to play cupid by recreating their first-ever date night at their Miami home, and it’s the first time the two had dinner alone in nearly a year. Martina is absolutely smitten by the gesture. The wholesome scene was a nice reprieve from all the darkness in Real Housewives these days.

Julia is not only a fun wife but the ultimate friend. She joins Adriana De Moura while she gets a Brazilian butt lift (inspired by Larsa). Adriana asks her friend to tell her a funny story to get her mind off the pain. First, Julia has to avoid fainting at the sight of a needle going into her friend’s butt, proclaiming it to be the reason she doesn’t get Botox. See, an absolute gem.

Anyway, Julia tells the “story” that she and Martina are going to have another child. They’re looking to adopt, which Martina was hesitant about in the past but opened up to because of how much Julia hates being an empty nester. The pair are going to start their journey of looking for an older kid to adopt, and Julia even told Adriana that she could be the Godmother. Every single scene with Julia just puts a smile on my face, and she’s definitely part of the reason for RHOM’s charm.

Alexia And Frankie’s Inspiring Growth

Alexia Echevarria’s experience as a mother has not been easy, particularly after Frankie Rosello’s accident. She may not be the perfect mom (we’re not even going to get into the Peter Rosello of it all), but it’s clear she has an undeniable love for her kids. It’s what inspires her to host a Miami store opening to raise money for a charity that supports adults with “unique abilities” like Frankie to find success independently.

Frankie has been involved with the organization as he was given a shadow, which is similar to a life coach, that helps him plan his future. “It hit me that Frankie was growing up and I needed to make him more independent,” Alexia says. It can’t be easy to lead your children to success as they enter adulthood, let alone someone with the challenges that Frankie has overcome. It’s admirable to see Alexia do her best and accept outside help so that Frankie can live his own happily ever after. Every scene with Alexia and Frankie involving the event was absolutely heartwarming. Their story is such a raw depiction of real life that isn’t always a focus on reality TV. When it is, it’s a beautiful moment to watch.

Lisa’s Friends Think She’s In Denial

Lisa has remained adamant that Lenny totally blindsided her with the divorce. Even in this episode, she insists to Marysol that she and Lenny were fine in their relationship a few weeks prior. However, the Cockie Queen doesn’t accept the answer so easily, citing the “chaotic universe” of the sultry parties hosted at the Hochstein house over the years. Marysol tries to help Lisa see the good on the other side, but Lisa keeps saying she wishes that Lenny would snap out of it. “All I know since I’ve been in Miami is Lenny,” Lisa cries. She even admits she would have stayed with Lenny for life and changed his diapers in old age, which is why her friends believe there might have been writing on the wall.

Later, while Alexia and Marysol are out to dinner, two of their friends approach them and start to discuss the Lisa and Lenny drama. One of the men expresses surprise that the two were even married up to that point. Alexia starts to reflect on her previous marriage, where she said she and her ex-husband put on a “front” to the public despite being totally separated. “As a woman, we always know. We always see those signs,” Alexia says. “Whether we choose to act on them is different.” It sounds like Lisa may have had blinders on and Lenny’s aggressively public behavior is his way of proving to her that it’s over. It doesn’t condone any of his actions leading up to the split, but it does provide some interesting insight.

Brandi Glanville Was Surprised By Lisa Rinna’s Departure From Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills; Says “She Adds A Lot To The Show”

Given Lisa Rinna’s long and strong eight-year run, many were stunned to hear about her exit from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. After being pressed about her questionable behavior at the Season 12 reunion, the housewife famously yelled at Andy Cohen to put her on pause. Some fans had been calling for her firing for a long time, and many suspected Andy and Lisa’s close relationship was essentially keeping her safe. Thus, the Bravoverse was shocked when Andy finally did put the housewife on pause January 5, 2023.

Ex RHOBH housewife Brandi Glanville shared that surprise and dished about it on a recent episode of E! News. The reality star explained, “I didn’t see it coming honestly because I do feel like she adds a lot to the show. But I do think that it was much needed. And she’s very happy about it, she’s fine with it. She’s like I look forward to the next chapter and she’s very okay with it,” Brandi added.

Given all the drama Lisa did bring to the show, and that there wasn’t an obvious misstep that led to her exit, Brandi is confident the housewife of eight years will be returning at some point.

She explained, “With Lisa we are friends and I feel like she’ll be back. I feel like she needed a pause, just because her mom passed away during shooting. She didn’t really get a chance to mourn that.” As viewers recall, Lisa expressed her mother’s passing had a huge impact on her during the latest season as she struggled through the grieving process. Much of her behavior she partly blamed on her struggle with losing her mom.

Brandi shared the sentiment, explaining, “I feel like a lot of her antics were because she didn’t have a chance to you know mourn her mom, and all of the stuff. Sometimes you do need a break, it’s a very taxing show.” If anyone can commiserate, it’s Brandi who was previously the center of drama during her tenure as a full-time housewife during Seasons 3-5.

Aside from Lisa’s exit and potential return one day, we hope this paves the way for some new (or returning?) ladies to bring something to the table. Perhaps the long anticipated and hinted at Brandi comeback is indeed in the works. Stop teasing us Andy, and make the announcement already! Either way we look forward to getting another taste of her on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip- Ex Wives Club later in 2023.

Kathryn Dennis Confirms Southern Charm Exit

It’s time for Bravo to throw in the towel on Southern Charm, or at least have a major cast overhaul. It was just confirmed that Kathryn Dennis will be leaving the show after eight seasons. Kathryn has been the sun that Southern Charm orbits around, even though Austen Kroll and Craig Conover like to think they are. Kathryn has spent the majority of her adult life in front of the cameras. Now that she’s headed out the door, it feels like the end of a strange era.

Kathryn confirmed to Page Six that she’s leaving the show. She did not comment on the rumors that she was laid off for being difficult and not showing up to filming, but are we shocked? “It hasn’t always been easy, but I’m so lucky to have had reality cameras there, capturing so many moments that I’ll never forget (and a few, even, that I’d like to),” Kathryn’s statement reads. Girl, you can say that again. Austen and Shep Rose’s latest crop of girlfriends just cannot compare to the chaos that is Hurricane Kathryn. They’re just not built that same way.

Kathryn didn’t clarify whether or not she quit or was fired, or if she’ll be appearing as a friend during Season 9. Regardless, it’s just ludicrous. What’s next, Madison Lecroy is going to depart the show? The last thing Southern Charm needs is less funny women to make it worth watching amid all of the Peter Pan antics. It seems like an opportune time for a pause, especially considering Leva Bonaparte’s Southern Hospitality is hitting its first-season stride. Craig and Austen will get their much-needed camera time on Summer House in the meantime.

It’s hard to think of Kathryn’s future without Southern Charm. The good, the bad, and all of the ugly of her personal life have been made so public in the past decade or so. For one, her financial future is a bit of a question mark. Also, it feels sad to see her story end without major growth for her. Kathryn is always dealing with issues in her personal life, whether it be involving romantic relationships or custody battles. It would have been nice for her to stay on the show long enough to have some sort of happy ending. It’s just a prime example of real life not mimicking the stories we see in movies. Even though many of these Charlestonites like to romanticize most aspects of their lives.

What Are These Three Former Housewives Doing Now?

Do you ever wonder what happens to a Real Housewife after they leave/are fired/make their grand exit from the show? I do. All the time, actually. Some housewives I miss more than others, but I’m always curious about what their lives are like after being a reality star. So here are three former housewives and what they are up doing today.

Carole Radziwill

[Princess] Carole Radziwill was a polarizing figure on Real Housewives of New York. Initially, she was the 50 something cool girl with quite the pedigree. She was close friends with John Kennedy Jr. and his wife through her marriage to Anthony Radziwill, who just so happened to be a Polish Prince. Much to the chagrin of a mere Countess Luann de Lesseps. Carole was also a longtime journalist and best selling author.

So the “writer girl” who refused to grow up seemed to charm RHONY fans. That is until her fall out with insta-bestie Bethenny Frankel. The fight seemed to be the catalyst for Carole leaving the show after 6 seasons.

Since then, she hasn’t shied away from criticizing her former castmates and the show that put her on the map. While she might have burned her Bravo bridge, it’s a good thing she had a back up plan. Carole went back into journalism as the Managing Editor for Town & Country magazine. She has also written for the New York Times and remodeled her well-known Soho loft apartment. Remember how much she hated those stairs?

As for her long-time boyfriend and former chef to Luann, Adam Kenworthy, the May-December romance broke up years ago, but Carole shared last year that the two remain friends.

Gretchen Rossi

Oh my god, good old Gretchen “Bass Lake” Rossi. Last summer, I did a rewatch of Real Housewives of Orange County and it definitely gave me a new perspective on the trophy fiancée/singer/Pussycat Doll guest star/former housewife. Previously, I couldn’t stand her. But my rewatch made me feel bad for her. Not just because of the infamous Naked Wasted episode, but because of the relentless bullying by her castmates.

Unfortunately, by the time she started dating notorious housewives thirsty boy, Slade Smiley, my feelings changed. It was hard to root for Gretchen when she stood by as Slade relentlessly tried to make himself relevant on the show. And when she popped the question after years of turning him down, it all seemed like one big ploy.

While the two are still together, they never actually did get legally married. But the two welcomed daughter Skyler in 2019 after a difficult journey with IVF.

As for a paycheck, it looks like Gretchen has focused on being a social media influencer. Which has drawn plenty of criticism given her penchant for using Facetune on both herself and her baby daughter. Sadly, it looks like both Gretchen Christine Handbags and Gretchen Christine Beaute no longer exist. But what I really want to know is whatever happened to that Rolls Royce?

Yolanda Hadid

This one is a doozy. Yolanda Hadid Foster Hadid joined Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for Season 3. The former Dutch model didn’t exactly sit well with viewers. She was the uber rich wife of music writer and producer David Foster. And I’m taking RICH rich. David is reportedly worth $150 million. Prior to David, she was also married to another Uber-rich, Mohamed Hadid, with whom she had 3 children.

Those kids, Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid and Anwar Hadid, have all gone on to have successful modeling careers. Most notably Gigi and Bella. And that’s no surprise, given how Yolanda pushed them. She caught a lot of heat for telling Gigi to eat an almond on a shoot when she said she felt weak. But her exit from the show was after her extensive yet mystifying health issues. Lisa Rinna ultimately accused her of having Munchausen syndrome, and Yolanda was done. She left the show after season 6.

Nowadays, Yolanda is divorced from David and living on a Pennsylvania farm about 15 mins from where I live. Fun fact – I ran into her at Starbucks and even if she is a monster, she is a very fresh-faced and beautiful one. She didn’t have a stitch of makeup on and she was glowing. I’m sorry to report this, Yolanda haters!

Unfortunately, for Yolanda, that reputation of being a monster has followed her, most recently with a very publicized alleged fight with Gigi’s former boyfriend and father of her child, Zayn Malik. Because of the fame of the former One Direction singer, the press was all over this one. Yolanda stayed mum on the situation and continues to post pictures of her quiet farm life on her Instagram.

Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City Season 3 Episode 14 Recap: Bad Mormons And Bad Behavior

This is the Season 3 Real Housewives of Salt Lake City finale. Let’s get right to the recap!

Heather Gay Wrote A Book?!

This week’s excuse for an extravagant party was Heather Gay’s Book Cover Reveal. The book is not even out yet, but they have a cover! Let’s have a party! Who knew Heather could even read, let along write a whole book. But who am I kidding? She most likely had a ghost writer.

Hostess Heather was the first to arrive at the party’s location. Giant decals of her book’s title, Bad Mormon, were plastered on the windows overlooking the city. Heather made a beeline for the bar as soon as she walked in the door, proving right away that she is, in fact, a Bad Mormon.

In a confessional, Heather admitted to hoping that if a fight should break out (as they usually do in this group, especially if Jen Shah is in attendance), it would take place right in front of the Bad Mormon windows, which would be super on-brand for these women.

Lisa Barlow complimented Heather on how much better her formerly black eye looked. “It’s totally gone!” she remarked.

“Just like the memory of it,” Heather quipped. Although as Lisa reminded her, the memory will never go away and her eye will continue to be the topic of conversation for a long time, especially since Heather refuses to share what happened.

When Whitney Rose made her appearance, she and Heather exchanged a warm hug, just like they always do. But Heather admitted in an interview that their relationship seemed “tainted.” She really hoped they can somehow mend their friendship and get back to the way things used to be. Then why were you so mean to Whitney when you went to her house Heather? Sometimes the Beauty Lab owner seems to have multiple personalities, and they contradict each other.

Meanwhile, Angie Katsanevas told Whitney and Lisa that she was definitely planning to have a word with Jen, since she’s heard that Jen has been spreading the story that Angie was the one responsible for Heather’s black eye. (See? Lisa was right. This subject is never going away.) Sweet little mild-mannered Angie K. punched twice-her-size Heather in the eye? As Whitney said, “That’s ludicrous.”

Either Jen is a pathological liar or she’s trying to divert attention away from herself, cause everybody knows it was Jen who gave Heather the shiner. As Angie said, “[Jen’s] been the violent one, she’s been the aggressive one. We’ve all seen it.” Angie even suggested that Heather and Jen were having a sexual relationship, doing “Barbie scissor kicks” with each other and that’s how the shiner happened. Lisa and I both thank you for that visual, Angie.

And right as Angie finished her graphic tale, Jen and Coach Shah made their entrance. Great editing, Bravo. Coach and Jen were immediately pulled aside by Chris Harrington and Angie Harrington for a heartfelt and tearful apology for the fake ShahXposed Instagram account that Chris so childishly created online. Coach very graciously accepted Chris’s mea culpa (I don’t think I would have) and agreed to move on. Everybody hug!

Choirs And Confrontations

Next, Heather’s community choir gave a performance of “Amazing Grace” in the venue’s courtyard. They wore black robes that looked more like graduation gowns than choir robes. And the “singing!” Oy vey! Lisa asked, “Am I on key? I have no idea . . . I know a lot of other people aren’t.” Listening on the sidelines, Meredith Marks’s deadpan expression reflects the pain of everyone watching at home.

In her production interview, Jen and her stupid little black hat tortured viewers with a rendition of “Shah-mazing Grace.” My ears are still bleeding.

Next Heather made a rambling speech about being a bad mormon who still hopes to be a good friend to everyone, as she unveiled the cover of her upcoming book. Hmmm, for someone who claims to be such a “good friend” to everyone, she sure gave her cousin Whitney a beatdown in her own backyard in last week’s episode.

Even though she thought it was a “great cover,” Lisa wondered, “What’s gonna go inside? . . . It’s like me having a Vida Tequila party with no tequila. It’s crazy!” Angie K. highlighted the obvious with, “Um, nothing like being invited to a book party with no books for sale.”

While Whitney was talking with Jen about how things between the two of them went sideways in San Diego, Angie K. decided to take the opportunity to talk to Jen about the rumors she’d heard. No, Angie! Don’t do it! This will not go well. Danna Bui-Negrete courageously foolishly volunteered to go with Angie to confront her. Sensing a disturbance in the force, Meredith told her husband Seth, “Let me go see what’s going on over here,” as she excused herself to join the others.

Angie K. Shows Her True Colors When She Questions Jen’s Mental Health

Whitney and Jen were still going around in circles about what took place in San Diego and the status of their friendship, when Angie K. butted into their conversation and bluntly told them to “wrap it up,” because she wanted to start her own fight with Jen. Heather made a good choice when she told a friend, “Go eavesdrop on that convo. I do not want to be a part of that,” as she headed off to hide in the ladies’ room.

When Angie K. told Jen about the rumors saying it was Angie who was responsible for Heather’s black eye, Jen immediately denied it, “That is a lie. I never said that . . . That is not true.”

Feeling outnumbered, Jen called Coach over for backup, so Angie directed her indignation at him. “Coach, [Jen] gets abusive and bully-like to people like me who have had her back.” Next she questioned Jen’s claims that she had been “pushed to the brink of suicide” and wanted to know if it was “all fake.” Oh, no she didn’t! That’s not cool, Angie. I’m in total agreement with Jen on this. You don’t ever question someone’s mental health or whether they tried to take their own life. That is “beyond f***ed up.”

As security escorted Jen out of the party, Angie continued to look for support from the other women. Heather wanted to know what Angie’s objective was for confronting Jen, since everybody knows there’s no winning with Jen.

Jen calmly told Coach, “Baby, let’s go.” No screaming? No broken glass? This is not the Jen we’ve all come to expect.

Jen Finally Admits Her Guilt

Four days before her trial, Jen sat on the front steps of her house and talked with her mother Charlene. She reflected, “The next time I come home, I’ll either be guilty or innocent.” Her mom assured her she’ll be innocent, but Jen looked pensive.

Her mom reminded her that in the Hawaiian and Tongan cultures that Jen is descended from, “you’re always surrounded by your ancestors.” She told Jen, “When you walk into that courtroom, before you walk in . . . you call your grandma and your grandpa and your dad and everybody, and they’ll be right there with you.” Jen’s mom was so sweet and supportive of her daughter. She truly believed she was innocent, as she waved goodbye to Jen and Coach on their way to the airport.

Three days before Jen‘s trial, Heather and Meredith were in New York City to support Jen in court. Meredith shared that there’s really not much they can do for Jen at this point, other than just physically be present.

In a flashback filmed the day before, Jen begged Heather to keep an eye on her family for her should “the worst thing happen” and she’s found guilty. Jen confessed to Heather that she was really scared, as anyone would be facing years in prison and being separated from their family.

Heather and Meredith met with Jen and Coach in their hotel room. Coach seemed at peace with whatever the outcome would be. He talked about the difficult conversations they’d had with both their sons, Sharrieff Shah, Jr. and Omar Shah, and said, “We’re gonna be fine. We want a certain outcome, but regardless, God is with us. I know that we’ll be fine.”

Two days before the trial, Meredith, Heather and Seth Marks enjoyed an al fresco lunch together in NYC. Seth expressed how much he wanted to support his friend Coach during this process. Coach is not only a business man, but he’s an attorney, so he was reading all the legal documents and witness statements. Coach was having a tough time, and Seth really wanted to be there for him as a friend.

Seth addressed the elephant in the room, “Have either of you ever asked Jen if she’s guilty of any of these charges?” Heather and Meredith exchanged wide-eyed looks. Heather answered, “When your friend looks you in the eyes and says, ‘I’m innocent of this,’ you say, ‘Then I will support you in whatever path you’re gonna take.'”

Seth asked Heather if she would still be a ride-or-die friend if Jen is, “God forbid,” found guilty. Meredith chimed in, “If, in fact, Jen is proclaiming her innocence when she’s really guilty and not taking accountability to the victims of what she did, that’s a really big problem for me.” [Spoiler alert: Meredith is about to have a really big problem with Jen.] Heather had her arms crossed defensively and looked pissed.

Meredith also pretty smartly added that while the trial is pending, she didn’t really want to know any of the details of what happened, as that would put her at risk of being questioned by the investigators. And she had “no interest” in that.

Later back at the hotel, the three women were having some snacks while Jen told them about her day. She found out that her friend and assistant Stuart Smith had testified against her and called him a “piece of sh**.” Jen said she wouldn’t be in trouble at all if it weren’t for Stuart. So she expected him to take a fall for her? Stuart has a family, too, Jen.

These words appeared on the screen, “On July 11, 2022, Jen Shah pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud. She has been sentenced to 6.5 years in prison.”

Making Peace With Jen’s Fate

A couple of days later, Heather and Lisa met for lunch back in SLC. Lisa said when she heard about the guilty plea, “I was angry. I was sad. Confused. I’m like, wow, this is who she is. This is a bad, awful thing she’s done.”

Heather admitted to being “overwhelmed with grief” about the whole situation. Both women were sad that Jen was going away “for a decade.” This was before Jen was sentenced to 6 1/2 years. She has a 16-year-old, and Lisa talked about all the family milestones Jen would miss while she’s in prison.

Heather had finally realized that her ride-or-die insisted on her innocence until she realized she couldn’t “get away with it,” and only then did her story change. Neither woman had believed that Jen was capable of her crimes or that she would ever plead guilty. They were both totally in shock.

But Heather dropped a big bombshell, when she theorized that Coach could have been involved in Jen’s scam. When he realized that she wasn’t going to get away with it, he told her, “I’ll take care of the boys, and I’ll see you in 15 years.” That sound you just heard was my head exploding.

Heather has seen the light regarding Jen Shah. And it’s a lot.

Cheryl Burke let a couple of things go in 2022 but it wasn’t necessarily an easy transition to handle. The Dancing with the Stars vet announced her departure from the show she considered a “second family” for 26 seasons. The other thing Cheryl said good-bye to was approximately 168 pounds of man when she filed for divorce from Matthew Lawrence, brother of the guy who said “Whoa!” as his main party trick in the early 90’s.

Cheryl actually met her now ex-husband when Joey Lawrence appeared on DWTS. They had a relationship for a little under a year. The Universe brought them back together in 2017 and Matthew and Cheryl went on to get engaged in May 2018. They wed 12 months later but when Covid hit in 2020, the couple experienced “prolonged estrangement” and Cheryl filed for divorce which was finalized in September 2022.

Along the way, Cheryl was very open with her social media followers about the emotions and struggles she’s experiencing going through the divorce and maintaining sobriety. Now it kind of looks like ‘ol Matty has moved on and it appears Cheryl might be pissed. According to Page Six, Cheryl may or may not have implied Matt moved on too quickly in an Instagram Story post that wasn’t exactly cryptic.

Four months after Cheryl and Matt’s divorce was final, he started chasing waterfalls with Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas from the supergroup TLC. Cheryl wrote, “That was fast…” over a black screen.

Is it difficult when your ex moves on? Yes. Do you really need to go full petty on Instagram of all things, thereby showing him and the rest of the entire world how bothered you are? I guess in this case, also yes. It doesn’t help that she posted it just hours after Chilli’s rep confirmed the romance to media outlets.

Legal docs read that Cheryl cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for divorce but she also kind of implied some cheating had happened in other social media posts. Matthew and Chilli had been spotted in Hawaii back in August 2022, but the divorce papers were initiated earlier in February of the same year.

Chilli’s rep said she has “never seen her [Chilli] this in love” and Matthew has already met her family. The rep added the relationship turned lovey dovey around Thanksgiving and to that I say – sure, Jan. In Cheryl’s defense, it must sting like holy hell to see this stuff blasted all over the internet, but also it’s okay to, you know, take a break from the internet.

Cheryl is not going to let this stuff get her down, she’s determined to have a better 2023. She recently posted a TikTok clip dancing and dousing herself in perfume with the caption, “Mood going into 2023,” and the hashtag “#causeimgood.” Hope she can hang in there and #stayofftheinternet for at least two weeks until this blows over.

In 2017, Real Housewives of Atlanta peach Kenya Moore secretly tied the knot with Marc Daly in St. Lucia. If a cast member on a Real Housewives show doesn’t have their wedding filmed for the franchise, is it even legally binding?

Kenya and Marc welcomed their precious baby girl, Brooklyn Daly, in 2018. Say what you will about her shady ways, but Kenya is an excellent mother. But when Twirl’s RHOA co-stars saw the tension between Marc and Kenya, it was a shock.

Their relationship imploded during a charity function that Marc was hosting. The couple’s squabble was caught on camera.

The way that Marc belittled Kenya on the show was disturbing. Every time Marc called her “Ken” in that tone I bristled. Even Marlo Hampton remarked, “It’s like, I like cringe when I see him and her on the show.”

In September 2019, Marc and Kenya decided to separate. And in August 2021, Kenya filed for divorce, stating that the marriage was “irretrievably broken.”

People reported that Kenya was a guest on Tamron Hall and discussed the status of her divorce. Host Tamron Hall shared a clip of Kenya and Marc from an appearance in September 2019. “There are certain shows that haunt me to this day. Yours was one of them,” Tamron stated. “You were here on the set. You were talking about love with Marc.” Marc discussed being “supportive” in their relationship. Everything looked perfect, but the duo decided to split just three days later.

Kenya explained, “We were having problems and there was always this hope that we could get over it, that we could go to counseling, and that it could be better. Doing your show was a highlight because it was the first time he was really supportive of me,” she said. “Our whole family was together.”

She continued, “When we got back to Atlanta, we did a filming for Real Housewives [of Atlanta] and it was like this huge event that we had put a lot of energy into. It was a struggle just to work through our differences even during the show. A lot of it was exposed, just how we weren’t getting along or weren’t on the same page,” the former Dancing with the Stars competitor added.

“As I said before, I felt like my voice was stifled a lot because I felt like I had to be a certain kind of wife to get along with him and his personality. That’s not what a marriage is about,” Kenya said. Amen!

Tamron noted that in the old clip, Kenya bowed her head when Marc stated he was “supportive.” Tamron asked, “Were his words not ringing true or what you presented to us not real?”

“Everything I do is real. However, it was up and down,” Kenya remarked. “He supported me in my business at times, but he never supported me when it came to the show. In the beginning, he refused to film.”

Tamron quipped, “Is that a bad thing? People go on the show and then their marriages end, or they end up in jail.”

“It was the way in which he could’ve supported me and that never happened. I protected him as much as I could. I protected our marriage as much as I could. There were signs in the very beginning before he ever stepped foot on the show,” Kenya said.

“In fact, I was very adamant about telling the producers, ‘I’m not going to put him on the show if that’s something he doesn’t want to do and it’ll affect our relationship in a negative way,’ I said no. But it was the other stuff that was going on,” she added.

Kenya said during the RHOA reunion in September 2022 that her divorce was still ongoing.

Let’s hope that it wraps up soon so Kenya can move on with her life.

Diana Jenkins Confirms Her Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Exit

So I must admit, Lisa Rinna’s shocking exit from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills definitely caught me by surprise. But this new tea regarding Diana Jenkins‘ departure from the series has me smiling from EAR TO EAR. Yep, you’re reading that correctly. Diana — aka snoozefest — is OUT of the winner’s circle over in the 90210 after just one season.

I knew Diana would be a one-season wonder after her first few episodes. Let’s face it– she’s boring, she’s problematic, and was one of the biggest followers I think I’ve seen on this show. Actually, in the last few episodes where she completely phased out, I didn’t notice a bit. And what really confirmed my suspicions that she wouldn’t be back was when she was rolled out onto the reunion stage on a television screen for a good 15 minutes.

In a statement to People, Diana wrote, “As many of you know, Asher and I are expecting our second child later this year. You also know that due to many factors, this pregnancy is considered high risk and I am on doctor-advised bed rest. To that end, I am not able to devote myself fully to filming the next season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

“I would like to thank Bravo and Evolution for allowing me to focus on my pregnancy, and for their support and understanding. I promise to continue sharing my fertility journey with you,” she continued.

Now shade aside, I wish her and her family the absolute best in their pregnancy and continuing to grow their family. That’s a special gift she should be able to enjoy stress-free. Do I 100% believe her? Not really. Many Housewives have filmed while pregnant and shown their highs and lows. I believe Diana would’ve absolutely come back if they offered her the chance. I guess, like Rinna, it was a “mutual decision“.

Either way, Diana was clearly not the fan favorite. She was involved in several incidents — one being seen as allegedly racist by many fans — that just didn’t paint her in a great light. I definitely didn’t vibe with her, and I certainly don’t think the other ladies vibed with her, either. Oh well, better luck next time, Diana.

In 2023, we all need to find someone who has our back the way Harry Hamlin has Lisa Rinna’s back. He’s always in her corner, even when the rest of the world is not. Because as Housewives fans rejoice over Rinna’s exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Harry is still cheering on his wife.

Rinna announced her exit from RHOBH last week, sending a shockwave through the Housewives fanbase and leaving a massive hole in the cast.

“This is the longest job I have held in my 35 year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series,” Rinna said in her announcement. “It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”

Reactions to Rinna’s exit have been everywhere on social media, but we were all wondering what her husband had to say about it. Of course, no one wants to see their spouse get fired. So, during a red-carpet appearance, People asked Harry to comment on his wife’s surprising departure. Although there must be some tense feelings in their household right now, Harry was nothing but positive about Rinna’s retirement from the Housewives.

“[It was the] correct decision, the right decision to make at this point after eight years,” Harry explained. “I think she took it as far as she could take it, and she elevated the show.”

It’s hard to imagine Harry Hamlin sitting down and watching an entire season of RHOBH to comment accurately on his wife’s performance, but we can all admit that his wife had some high highs over the years. Did she “elevate” the show? Perhaps it depends on the season. We can’t take away her iconic moments over the years, but did she elevate Season 12? That’s debatable.

In talking to People, Harry acknowledged that it was time for them to “move on” from the reality show. He said, “Eight years is a long time to do anything, the same thing over and over again. It’s time to move along.”

So, what does moving along look like when you’re a self-proclaimed “a**hole with iconic hair and big lips?” According to Harry, there are a few options on the table. He told the outlet, “We’re both very busy … and then she’s already talking to studios about getting going on something else, so I think we’re going to be really busy over the next few months.”

Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City Star Whitney Rose Seemingly Shades Jen Shah’s Sentencing

Now for the reactions. After Jen Shah was sentenced to 6.5 years in federal prison for fraud on January 6, 2023, it was inevitable that her Real Housewives of Salt Lake City co-stars would weigh in. Especially after the wild season we’ve been watching with Jen’s erratic emotions and hot temper towards her castmates.

The infamous Jen flaunted her ill-gotten gains before her televised arrest on Season 2. She continued to proclaim her innocence until reality hit her square, and then remorse became the emotion du jour. Jen, understandably, was buckling under the pressure on Season 3, and took her emotions out on the group.

Page Six reported that Whitney Rose is the first RHOSLC housewife to take a public swipe at her former co-star. She took to her social media to share pictures of her recent visit to Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and Julia Fox.

The Wild Rose beauty founder captioned it with, “Season 3 of RHOSLC was a lot and very heavy. Wrapping it with such a fun show was the perfect send off to a difficult season. The darkness is gone, lightness is upon us.”

Without naming names, the intention was made clear, especially with the timing of the post being mere hours after Jen’s sentencing in New York. With incarceration ahead of her, one can presume that Jen will not be re-appearing on RHOSLC.

Whitney’s followers were quick to comment. One wrote, “The darkness was just sentenced to 6.5 years in prison.” Another added, “The darkness is gone is really sending me [laughing emoji], the shade is real (and hilarious!).”

But Whitney wasn’t done yet. The reality star then posted a selfie to her Instagram Story. She was pictured in her car, busting out a cheeky smile. “What a day…” she captioned the pic.

And who could blame Whitney for enjoying some retribution? Fraud charges aside, the 36-year-old had some of her own beef with Jen. Jen had previously accused Whitney of having connections to a Capital rioter, something she adamantly denied. Not only that, cast mate Lisa Barlow jumped in to suggest Amerca’s newest felon focus on actual legal issues.

But all Jen’s drama on RHOSLC will pale in comparison to 6.5 years in federal prison for defrauding the elderly out of millions of dollars. True reality has finally hit home for the mother of two. She made a public apology after the hearing.

“I am profoundly and deeply sorry,” Jen sobbed as she faced her husband Sharrieff Shah and sons Sharrieff Shah Jr. and Omar Shah in court. To her victims, Jen admitted her actions went “against” the “humility and loyalty and respect” that she claimed she had. Jen concluded by admitting that she “hurt innocent people.”

Real Housewives Of Potomac Season 7 Episode 13 Recap: Sparks Fly In Mexico

The Real Housewives of Potomac continues to give us everything and more, with shade like no other and fresh drama each and every week. Season 7, Episode 13, titled “Sisterhood of the Traveling Beefs,” took viewers on a rollercoaster of emotions. From a surprising feud between Jacqueline Blake and Mia Thornton to the huge blow-up between Charisse Jackson Jordan and Karen Huger, I think that’s only scratching the surface of what’s to come.

If I know the Housewives, we’re also going to get a continuation of Ashley Darby and Candiace Dilliard-Bassett’s argument from Karen’s live show regarding her friend’s allegation about her husband, Chris Bassett. And who knows, we may even see Candiace vs. Gizelle Bryant again as well. In the meantime, here are five takeaways from the latest episode of RHOP.

Robyn’s Wedding That Never Was

So I am a huge Robyn fan. I’ve loved her since the first season of the show. I was so excited for her when she got engaged because I knew that would secure her at least another season or two as she preps for her wedding. Well, now we’re two seasons later, and she’s barely given us anything. In this most recent episode, she invites a custom stylist to fit her husband, Juan Dixon, and their two sons, Corey and Carter, for tuxedos.

Now that Juan has agreed to sign the prenup, she can actually plan her wedding (so Robyn says). She told this wedding planner their hope was to get married in July. When they filmed this scene, July was 40 days away. Stop the lies, Robyn! My personal theory is they met before as a family to decide what to say and hired this guy to come over with a measuring tape to give the producers content.

Let’s be real, no Housewife is planning a super low-key wedding with literally no one but themselves, not even their parents, yet film the entire process leading up to it. Be for real with us! Clearly, we know it was all for show because they didn’t obtain their marriage certificate until August. In the words of Charisse Jackson Jordan, “Liar!”

RHOP Vacation In Mexico

Finally! The cast trip is finally here. True Housewives fans know this is where sh–t goes down. Or hits the fan. Whichever you prefer, but before we get to the drama, Karen let the viewers know that she would be co-hosting this trip with Ashley because it’s her birthday. Ashley has taken control of the activities and plans to put the ladies through a rigorous schedule while there. No sitting by the pool and sipping margaritas. Ashley wants to ensure the ladies are sightseeing and appreciating the culture around them. I can respect that. And it’s better content for us as viewers, anyway.

The Fall-out Of Jacquline And Mia

Welp. We’re finally here. The part in the season where Jacqueline and Mia’s friendship starts to crumble. Throughout this entire episode, we were able to see a closer look at Jacqueline and Mia’s friendship. Mia shared that she’s been frustrated with Jacqueline because, at the time, she would always ask Mia to watch her kids, take care of them, and feed them. Mia grew increasingly tired of that. I don’t blame her at all. Those are not her children, and she shouldn’t feel obligated to have to care for them.

While the ladies were on the plane to Mexico, Mia and Jacqueline had a heated discussion about parenting. From what the rest of the cast was saying, the conversation centered around them not agreeing on how to raise their kids. Mia said that Jacqueline said, “It takes a village to raise a family, but you wouldn’t know nothing about that.”

Oof. I don’t not believe Mia. However, we know she likes to add a little extra sauce to her stories to make them interesting. And these girls have been friends for 20 years. There’s no way Jacqueline would say something so insensitive when she’s been open about her childhood trauma, right? Well, I guess she did, and here we are.

When the ladies were finally off the plane and seated, the cast tried to get Mia and Jacqueline to discuss their problems. Both of them at the time were saying how they’re sisters, and they fight like this all of the time, and they’ll be fine in no time. Jacqueline said she felt this was their worst fight of all time. Mia disagreed — reminding her of the time she threw a brick at her in the 11th grade because she wouldn’t let her copy her math homework. Yikes. This friendship sounds pretty toxic, and if it were me, I would’ve dipped a long time ago.

After Mia brought up the brick throw, Jacqueline said she felt Mia needed “more d–k.” Mia didn’t respond very well to this. She told Jacqueline not to “try me” before eventually channeling her inner NeNe Leakes, saying, “Keep your legs closed to married men.” Mouth drop. Hello?? What is happening here!? Damn, Mia! This is your bestie. Even if that’s true, you’re airing her out like that?

Besties no more

After this explosive fight between now-former besties Mia and Jacquline, the ladies head outside to the beach to meet a shaman. Of course, we’re used to seeing these sorts of spiritual ceremonies taking place on the Real Housewives franchise, and they typically tend to be a bit of a healing moment for the ladies who have major beef to work out. However, whatever this shaman did clearly didn’t work. Because as the ladies were wrapping up and making their way around the group with hugs, Mia tried to hug Jacqueline, and she got an extremely cold shoulder. It looks like when Jacqueline screamed, “I’m done with you,” to Mia, she meant it. And truthfully, I think that’s the healthy thing to do.

Charisse Vs. Karen Part 1

Since the beginning of the season, fans have thankfully been reintroduced to Charisse. A Season 1 OG who carried the first two seasons, alongside Gizelle, when they fought over the “firefighter boyfriend” comment Gizzy made on Watch What Happens Live. After exiting the series at the end of Season 3, she’s now in a recurring role. However, that doesn’t mean everyone was excited to welcome her back to the Potomac circle.

Karen, for some reason, has a huge issue with Charisse. None of us know why, but would love, love, love an answer so we can make sense of the drama between these two. At Robyn’s wacky tacky family fun day event, Charisse showed up, and as soon as she did, Karen ran to the opposite side of the field, claiming to not feel well before swiftly leaving the scene.

Gizelle and Robyn were saddened for Charisse because she was the only cast member who didn’t receive an invite to Karen’s live show event. The ladies were specifically confused because Karen went out of her way to invite ex-Housewife Katie Rost. And she even invited Jacqueline, who’s also an official “friend-of” this season. So why couldn’t Cha Cha get an invite? Gizelle let it be known she would get to the bottom of it on their trip to Mexico.

During one of their group dinners, Gizelle eased the two ladies into having the conversation, and it didn’t end too well. Although we got a typical “TO BE CONTINUED” cliffhanger, the little snippet we saw before looked promising. Charisse banged the table, Karen followed suit and even shouted with her finger in Charisse’s face, “What you will NOT do is talk about my mother.” Whew. Ok, Karen. I don’t think she was talking negatively about your mother, I think you just want a reason to blow up so the ladies won’t question you, and you can disengage from this conversation without giving the ladies the real reason why you guys don’t get along.
