Melissa Gorga Has “Hope” Watching Season 13 Of Real Housewives Of New Jersey Will Help Her And Teresa Giudice; Co-Stars Disagree

Melissa Gorga reveals her hopes that Season 13 of the Real Housewives of New Jersey will help her and Teresa Giudice mend their broken relationship. The pair have been in an intense fight since their forthcoming season was airing, and by the sounds of it, things were heated between the two families.

When asked what makes this upcoming season different, Melissa told US Weekly, “Unfortunately, you’re gonna feel like it’s the beginning all over again. That’s what’s unfortunate about it,” she added.

Earlier seasons of RHONJ featured a lot of family drama between Joe Gorga, Joe Giudice, Teresa, and Melissa. Physical fights, verbal insults, and estrangement. Viewers should buckle up because it sounds like we’re set to go down that road again.

The family’s fighting has gotten so bad recently that not only was the RHONJ panel split in two at BravoCon, but they are also having separate holiday parties this year. Melissa revealed, “There will be sprinkle cookies everywhere.”

Even though we have several weeks until the new season airs, Melissa said she’s hopeful about the newest season potentially bringing them back together. “I always hope it’s gonna help and I truly do from all angles, but sometimes it doesn’t because we end up on that couch in the reunion wanting to go crazy,” she explained.

Jackie Goldschneider, another Jersey Housewife who knows a thing or two about fighting with Teresa, said she’s sure season 13 will not fix the beef between Teresa and Melissa.

“No, I can say with 100 percent confidence, no matter how bad the fighting in the season is, it’s worse when you’re watching it back and all the social media fighting goes on. Social media is a disaster,” Jackie stated.

I would have to agree. Social media has really put some Housewives in a very bad spot, and some just don’t care. At this point, we know the Giudice’s unfollowed the Gorgas.

Melissa said their newest fight is a “slow burn,” while her bestie, Margaret Josephs, agreed.

“I never thought it was going to explode the way that it did. I think that we have some new ladies on the cast that bring some great moments,” Margaret said.  She continued, “And I think that’s really what makes [season 13] different. I think our cast has been so amazing. The last few years we haven’t had any change.” Margaret added, “And I think adding the new ladies into the mix brings a new perspective.”

I can’t wait. I’m always excited for RHONJ to air because their cast does the best with concealing the season’s stories and protecting the tea from spilling. That always makes my viewing experience much more pleasurable.

Lisa Hochstein Says Lenny Hochstein’s Request For A Divorce “Was A Knife To The Heart”

The Real Housewives of Miami Season 5 has just launched on Peacock, and it is everything. Not only are the ladies clocked in and ready to go, we KNOW that we’re getting one of the most intense Bravo divorces ever when it comes to Lenny Hochstein and Lisa Hochstein.

When talking about the day Lenny asked the RHOM star for a divorce, she told People, “It was a knife to the heart.”

“My life changed completely in the blink of an eye — and I didn’t see it coming whatsoever,” she said. Fans familiar with the show could probably see this coming. Lenny wasn’t very affectionate towards Lisa during Season 4, so seeing the headlines that he had a girlfriend while still married was not a shocker at all.

“I still can’t wrap my brain around the day he told me he wanted out,” Lisa said, which apparently happened a few days after the couple filmed an event for RHOM. “We were sleeping in the same bed for the last 15 years up until that day he told dropped the bomb on me. And now, suddenly, he wanted out? I felt so blindsided,” Lisa added.

There’s an intense hot-mic moment that happens at the end of episode 4, where Lenny spills the beans to his friend about wanting to separate from Lisa. Clearly, I wasn’t there, but I’m curious if Lisa really was as blindsided as she says she was. I mean, Lenny is NO Mauricio Umansky here, but still. No idea at all?

Lisa said, “He wasn’t sympathetic or empathetic at all about it either.” She continued, “It wasn’t a, ‘Let’s sit down and have a talk. I’m sorry that this isn’t what I want anymore.’ It was a cold, ‘I’m going to start dating, whether you like it or not,’ basically. It was completely shocking and devastating.” Lisa added, “I just couldn’t believe that the man I had been with for this long was treating me this way.”

Lisa said that she was committed to working on issues with Lenny to ensure they were in a better place for the sake of their children. “Obviously, anyone can see watching the episodes that our marriage wasn’t in the best place,” she explained to People. “But I was trying to be a great wife and trying my hardest to make us strong again.”

The RHOM star stated, “I was cooking his favorite meals, creating happy memories with our kids — anything I could do to repair it. So it wasn’t that I was ignoring our problems, I was just desperately trying to fix this. And the best I could just wasn’t good enough for him,” she added.

It pains me to hear her say this because she is not the cause of Lenny being unfaithful. That’s something he has to work out between himself and a therapist. In the meantime, Lisa, we got you! The fans are watching and already having a field-day with Lenny and his side-chick on social media. This is your year, and I’m here for it.

Taylor Armstrong Dishes On The Upcoming Season Of Real Housewives Of Orange County; Teases “New Drama For Me”

Taylor Armstrong, the first Housewife to transition from one franchise to another, is dishing all about the newest season of the Real Housewives of Orange County, and whew, y’all, it sounds juicy!

Fans haven’t seen Taylor appear on the Real Housewives franchise since her seasons on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Taylor appeared as a full-time Housewife until she departed from the series at the end of Season 3.

Now that she’s back in the Housewives world, she told Life & Style there’s “a lot of backside drama” in her newest reality television venture.

“A lot of beefs need to unravel,” Taylor stated. “I kind of watch it like [the fans] do, but I hope they’ll enjoy my participation and a bit of new drama for me, of course,” she said.

Fans were extremely excited to hear of Taylor’s jump from RHOBH to RHOC. It’s something new for the franchise, and if done well, could be something we see a lot more of.

Although she appeared on Season 2 of the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, that was a limited series that didn’t allow viewers to see where Taylor is today. In season two of RHOBH, Taylor and the rest of the cast dealt with the aftermath of Russell Armstrong’s tragic suicide. Before that, Taylor would share publicly that Russell had been abusive in their marriage.

Life & Style reported that Taylor opened up about the abuse in her marriage during an episode of Housewife to Housewife with Jill Zarin. “Having the cameras around made me feel more protected in my marriage and all of the violence that was going on in my life.”

Over ten years later, Taylor is back on reality television and showing viewers what she’s been up to since making the move to Orange County from the 90210.

“All the Beverly Hills girls are my family, and the Orange County girls are new to me. So, I’m really just getting to find out how to fit into a new genre and a new way of life,” she explained. “My parents have lived in Orange County since I was 17, so it’s not a new home turf for me, but it’s definitely a new cast vibe,” Taylor stated. “So I’m excited to see how the viewers feel about that.”

I don’t know about everybody else, but I’m definitely excited to see this crossover. Bravo is like the gift that keeps on giving. New casts, rebooted shows, an “all-stars” version of the Housewives but in RHUGT form? C’mon! I’m living for this. And Taylor, you spiced it up on season 2 of Ultimate Girls Trip so I can’t wait to see what you bring to RHOC.

Jenna Lyons Was “Surprised” By Lizzy Savetsky’s Real Housewives of New York Exit

This new rebooted version of the Real Housewives of New York will be good, but nowhere near as good as it would have been with our original NY cast. After hearing about Lizzy Savetsky’s shady exit from the newly re-cast RHONY, Jenna Lyons, another cast member, gave her perspective on the situation.

“I think everyone was surprised,” she told Page Six. “I think, you know, it’s a complicated situation, but I’m really, like, for sure [wishing] the best [for her.]”

Hmm. What complicated situation could she be talking about here? After reports started to break that Lizzy would exit the series due to the anti-Semitic hate she received, she took to Instagram to confirm the news herself.

“Unfortunately, from the time of my announcement in the cast, I was on the receiving end of a torrent of anti-Semitic attacks. As this continued, I realized that this path was no longer right for me and my family,” she wrote. A Bravo spokesperson also commented, “After thoughtful consideration and discussion with Lizzy, we have reached the mutual conclusion that Lizzy will not be a cast member on RHONY.”

Shortly after Lizzy’s exit was confirmed, another report came out that detailed Lizzy and her husband, Dr. Ira Savetsky’s, alleged involvement in a behind-the-scenes moment that involved racist language and another cast member. Last season on RHONY, Ramona Singer was accused of using alleged racist language. An investigation cleared Ramona. I’m sure Bravo can’t have another situation like this on their hands.

Consequently, that’s when conversations surrounding the couple’s exit began. Despite their boot from the show, Lizzy has been keping Bravo fans up to date by letting them know how she’s been coping over the last several weeks.

“Things that help me when I’m feeling dark: Prayer- just talking out loud to G-d and asking for strength in the face of things I can’t control,” she said in her Instagram Story. “Meditation- pausing to focus on gratitude and open my heart to understand my fellow humans.” Lizzy also said “talking it out,” or even “helping someone else.”

Although they won’t be filming together any time soon, Jenna said, “It’s actually been really fun. The crew is incredible. The women are amazing.” She added, “I’ve been having a great time. … I was a little nervous, obviously, but it’s been great.”

Bethenny Frankel Calls Jeff Lewis Bitter For Being Fired From Bravo During WWHL

Bethenny Frankel’s Watch What Happens Live appearance recently caused quite a stir among Bravo fans. The former Real Housewives of New York City star sat down with Andy Cohen and Jeff Lewis to discuss her newest podcast, ReWives, and to spill some piping hot tea. It’s been a minute since she was last on WWHL.

It started off intense. Andy and Bethenny immediately went at it on WWHL, addressing the things Bethenny has said since she left the show in 2019. After a heated back-and-forth moment about her new business venture, Jeff chimed in, seemingly being shady. Jeff said, “No one has a recap show for Housewives,” Page Six reported.

His comment hit like shade, and Bethenny took it as shade as well.

Bethenny reiterated that her new podcast differs from other shows like Two T’s In A Pod with Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge because she “wasn’t let go by Bravo.” She was also sure to let Jeff know that she is not a “disgruntled employee.”

Uh, oh. You’ve woken up the beast, Jeff. Bethenny is an OG Housewife and the fans love her. Mainly because she knows how to go there when prompted. Give us a show, B! We miss you!

After letting the audience know that she was not fired and in fact, chose to walk away from RHONY both times, Jeff admitted that he was “fired” from his Bravo show, Flipping Out. Bethenny stated, “Right, and that’s why you’re so bitter.”

“No I’m not bitter at all. I landed in a better place,” Jeff explained. “That’s what they all say,” Bethenny shot back –clearly annoyed.

“No, I really did, like, I’m happy,” Jeff said. After a moment, Jeff added, “Wow, someone is so defensive.”

Bethenny has been in defense mode for the last several weeks after announcing her new podcast. She’s been dragged by Luann de Lesseps, Andy, Jeff, and some fans about her choice to link herself to the Real Housewives franchise after bashing it for years.

Personally, I think Bethenny has every right to share her perspective in this new show. She did live it and it’s her story. And let’s be honest, most Bravo fans LOVE Bethenny. She’s asked back on RHONY after every season. That alone proves her impact.

Anyway, I’ll be listening and cheering you on, B! I Can’t wait to see what’s next.

Why Family Karma Is The Most Wholesome Show On Bravo

It’s now considered a treat when a Bravo show doesn’t revolve around throwing wine glasses across a table or the crew of a yacht isn’t making sure their blood alcohol content is straight vodka. Sometimes the network throws us a bone with a new series that features other cultures.

Family Karma premiered in March of 2020 and had a pretty good first season. It doesn’t receive the promotion like a Real Housewives show, but it made it to Season 2 and counted it as a win. Despite Covid disrupting the entire world, Family Karma returned for Season 3 and it just might be the most uplifting show Bravo currently has on their programming schedule. Time to review just why Family Karma should be on your play list, and why it’s the most wholesome show on Bravo.

The Cast Actually Knows Each Other

Unlike a lot of the programs we watch, this cast wasn’t thrown together in a quick effort to push out content. Cameras follow several multi-generational families originally from India who are living in Florida and navigating their lives, relationships, and careers. This is a very close-knit group and everyone knows everybody else’s business, but it leans more towards family bonds than allowing hearsay and rumors to destroy relationships. Brian Benni, Bali Chainani, and Amrit Kapai created the show and not for nothing, the concept is simple but the product is fascinating.

The Relationships

Aside from the families, there are numerous couples within the group. Anisha Ramakrishna’s search for love under the hopeful gaze of her family was shared over the first two seasons. We found out in Season 3 she is newly engaged, but to whom is a mystery. Brian continues looking for his perfect partner, after breaking up with his physician-girlfriend, Monica Shah, last year. And then we have Vishal Parvani and his new wife Richa Sadana. This one was a true journey that dealt with scary mother-in-laws and an inability to grow up. But the best relationship of all has to be Amrit and his husband, Nicholas Kouchoukos. Funny thing about Family Karma, you will see disagreements and strife, but you also see people actually willing to work through hardships without resorting to juvenile tactics.

Amrit and Nicholas

Amrit comes from an extremely traditional culture that has specific views on same-sex relationships. This topic is handled in such a gentle and loving manner, especially when Amrit wanted to share his joy with his grandmother. Cameras captured Amrit struggling with the thought of being rejected for loving a man, and what happened was the exact opposite. Amrit’s mother and father embraced Nicholas and helped him to nurture the union. It was an extremely positive experience to watch, and the outcome is about to give us the best wedding we have seen in years.

The Aunties

Basically the mothers of the group are classified as Aunties and they know everything even if you think they don’t. They share information, gather for drinking and discussing, and make attempts to keep everyone on track. They gossip, they have spats, but once again we see disagreements in a civilized way we aren’t normally accustomed to.

Family Karma is the ideal reality television show — superb editing, a ton of drama, and genuinely interesting relationship and family storylines. The rich past shared by all the characters is, in fact, a major draw to this show. Too many Bravo series clumsily piece together a cast of characters who, while they may hang out in similar social circles or even be close friends, aren’t truly deeply ingrained in one another’s lives outside of the show’s environment. If you want a good show minus the heavy, dragging you down type of drama, you need to be watching Family Karma.

Real Housewives Of Miami Star Alexia Echevarria “Expected” Lenny Hochstein To Cut Off Lisa Hochstein Financially Amid Divorce

Real Housewives of Miami star Lisa Hochstein was reportedly “blindsided” by her husband, Dr. Lenny Hochstein’s decision to divorce. Lenny has a girlfriend, model Katharina Mazepa. Katharina alleged that Lisa was aware of her relationship with Lenny. Meanwhile, poor Lenny was fading under the stress of dealing with both his wife and his girlfriend.

In a hot mic moment on RHOM, Lenny admitted to a friend that “in a couple of months, I might be single, too.” I love a good hot mic revelation.

Finances are another flashpoint between Lisa and Lenny. Lisa was asking for spousal support. According to the court documents, Lisa makes a cool $30,000 per episode of RHOM. Lenny is reportedly claiming that Lisa makes enough cash to support herself.

The couple share two children. In court documents, Lisa stated that she tried to “buy diapers and food for their minor child,” but “the credit card declined.” Lisa also accused Lenny of failing to put money in her account for “several months.” This divorce is beyond messy.

Lisa’s co-star Alexia Echevarria weighed in on the couple’s divorce. Alexia told Page Six that she wasn’t surprised that Lenny cut off Lisa’s access to the credit cards. “That’s very expected,” Alexia explained. “That’s the move that all the men try to do. They try to cut off the woman. That’s a typical move.” It’s still cold.

Alexia continued, “Luckily for Lisa, she has her own money, and she works, and I know that she would never not buy diapers for her children or food or any of that. She can provide for her kids, “she added.

In Alexia’s view, “money is the root of all evil” in high-stakes divorces. “Since there’s money, this is what money does,” Alexia stated. “The schoolteacher and the fireman that are married and get divorced, none of this is happening in their lives — because there’s no money.” She added, “Well, not this kind of money.”

According to court filings, Lisa asked for Lenny’s tax returns for 2008 and 2009. “Women like to get back at men because they’re like, ‘You did this to me, now you’re going to pay for it,’” Alexia remarked. “That’s what it is. And the men like to keep their money so they can spend it with the next woman. So, it gets ugly, it gets nasty and that’s expected,” she added.

So, how is Lisa doing now during this divorce drama? “I’m very happy that Lisa’s been able to move forward in the sense that she’s accepted all of this and she’s focusing on her and her children and just moving forward because it’s over,” Alexia stated. She continued, “And why would you want to be married to a man like that anyways? You already saw his true colors.”

Alexia once considered Lenny her friend. “It really affected me because I had a friendship with Lisa and Lenny and a few months prior, we were in Aspen skiing together and having dinner,” Alexia stated. “I’m so disappointed in him, the way he handled [his split from Lisa].”

This split was a dumpster fire from the beginning. Now Lisa has a juicy story line about Lenny for the next few years.

Kim Kardashian Hires Pianist To Wake Up Her Kids With Christmas Songs

While we may like to think that some celebrities are just like us, The Kardashians  definitely are not. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars live life on another level.

Kim Kardashian is now selling her unique brand of home décor. The items are made of concrete. How cozy! But if you are in the market for an 8-pound garbage can, Kim’s your girl! It retails for only $129.

On November 28, 2022, Kim and her husband, Kanye West, finally settled their divorce. Kanye, or Ye, will share custody of their four kids: sons Saint West and Psalm West and daughters North West and Chicago West. Ye is responsible for 50% of the children’s educational expenses and their security expenses.

Ye will also be handing over $200,000 each month in child support. Hopefully, Ye will stop sharing his family’s private issues on social media.

Page Six reported that Kim has a unique way of her waking up her kids during the holidays. The children wake up to Christmas tunes performed by pianist Philip Cornish. He is not just a pianist. He’s a Grammy-winning pianist.

Kim shared a video in her Instagram Story. “It’s that time of year,” Kim stated. “@Philthekeys comes over every morning to wake my kids up by playing the piano while the mad morning rush is happening to calm their little souls and fill it with beautiful Christmas songs,” the Skims mogul added.

In the clip, the pianist played holiday tunes on an all-white piano near a twinkling Christmas tree while Kim’s kids could be heard in the background. Another short clip showed Psalm relaxing underneath a blanket and listening to the music.

I feel cheated. I have to listen to an alarm clock in the morning. As you may imagine, some social media users felt that Kim’s annual tradition was tone-deaf.

Celebrity blogger Amanda Hirsch posted a hilarious video of Kim’s pianist, followed by a woman banging on a kid’s keyboard on Instagram. And the opinions soon followed. “She’s so out of touch, it’s gross,” a user wrote in the comments. “And this is why she needs that 200k/month child support,” another wrote.

“I guess rich people don’t use spotify,” a follower commented. “Why do I feel like North doesn’t even like this and wakes up and makes a face or makes fun of it lol,” a fan said of Kim and Ye’s eldest daughter.

Other social media users felt that Kim was trying to “deflect” from the backlash against the fashion house Balenciaga. “Look over there…. I didn’t denounce deplorable behavior against children!” the follower wrote.

The New York Post reported that Balenciaga came under scrutiny after they launched an ad campaign featuring toddlers carrying BDSM teddy bears. Kim didn’t denounce the fashion house immediately.

“As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images,” Kim tweeted. “The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period.” Kim declined an offer to appear in Balenciaga’s 2023 campaign, per Page Six.

If Kim is being this extra before the holidays, I can’t imagine what her kids are going to receive for gifts.

Meredith Marks Weighs In On Whether Jen Shah Should Be At The Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City Season 3 Reunion

I have to admit, with Jen Shah’s sentencing date looming around the corner, I have been plugged in! I’m listening to all of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star’s prior interviews, rewatching the Hulu documentary about her, and listening to podcasts all about her case. I need to be prepared to jump into the conversations happening among Bravo fans regarding the drama of it all.

And now, Meredith Marks is jumping into the conversation, and it sounds like she’s still on team Jen. US Weekly reported that the RHOSLC star shared her opinions on the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.

“[I hope] she has a chance to have a voice,” Meredith stated. “Look, she’s been a huge part of not just season 3 but this entire, you know, show, and for her to not have a chance to close all of that out?”

Meredith is absolutely right. Jen has been a focal part of this season and the entire series. There’d be no Seasons 2 or Season 3 if it weren’t for Jen and Miss Mary Cosby. They quite literally paved the way for the rest of the ladies to walk through and create subpar storylines. The real grande-dames of this series are Jen and Mary.

Meredith continued her statement by adding, “You know, obviously, as this season progresses and transpires, she’s hearing things she didn’t know about. That’s what happens to all of us. So for her to not have a chance to address that, to me, would be very sad,” Meredith said.  And to be honest with you, I’m not too worried about Jen’s beef this year. I care more about what’s going on regarding her legal woes. Period.

At this point, we all know what comes next for Jen this season. Her sentencing will be huge, and although it won’t be filmed, you can be certain Bravo stars will talk about it. As they should.

We have no idea if Jen is returning to season four of RHOSLC. It’s likely that she won’t, but hey, I’m trying to be optimistic here for her sake. Although what Jen is being charged with is heinous and super upsetting, my heart does ache for her knowing she could potentially be locked away in prison for several years. Anyway, don’t forget Jen’s sentencing is scheduled for January 6th, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. ET.

Lenny Hochstein Says He'll Be "Single Soon" In New RHOM Hot Mic Scene

I’ll start by saying this: every rebooted show ever needs to take notes from the cast of producers of the Real Housewives of Miami. Peacock has executed their new series flawlessly, and based on fan reactions, they are doing a fantastic job.

Maybe it’s because the cast of RHOM has been off the air for so long, but these ladies came back guns blazing and ready to show viewers that they belong in this franchise. Thanks to stars like Larsa Pippen for clocking in and putting in the work and Lisa Hochstein for showcasing her messy, messy divorce with her husband, Lenny Hochstein.

By now, you’ve all heard of the news surrounding the couple and their ongoing drama. It’s been intense. Like, very intense. However, for those who had watched Season 4, Lisa and Lenny’s divorce announcement really didn’t come as a shocker to anybody. At least for me. And then, Lenny got online and joked about the stresses of being a husband and boyfriend. Whew–that’s when I was really ready to see this all play out.

In a shocking hot mic moment from RHOM, per Page Six, Lenny could be heard telling his friend that “in a couple of months, I might be single, too.” After being pressed a little harder about their issues, Lenny said the couple’s problems were “the same stuff it’s always been.”

When speaking about Lisa and her mindset, Lenny gave specific details. “I do anything I want whenever I want, and you stay home and go to work and come back,” he said.

The heated scene ended with Lenny’s friend saying he didn’t want to see the pair get divorced. “I do,” Lenny responded.

Oof. Guys, this is just MESSY. I’m genuinely interested in seeing how the rest of this season of the Real Housewives of Miami plays out. Lisa’s divorce will undoubtedly be one of the season’s biggest storylines, with fans paying close attention to catch all the details before the divorce story starts to air. Either way, what I do know is that this is Lisa’s year. She’s taking it all.

Survivor 43 Episode 12 Recap: Major Blindside Sets Stage For Finale

Wow. That word is not only my reaction to tonight’s episode of Survivor, but it’s also all that the blindsided victim could manage to say after finding himself on the wrong side of the season’s biggest move.

Jesse and Cody were tight. So tight, that Cody never, ever saw it coming. If trust is the only form of currency that the players have out there in the game (as has been stated countless times throughout this season), then you could say that Cody’s entire portfolio was invested in the bank of Jesse. Sitting pretty with just six players left in the game, this power couple also had two Idols, and seemed like they were going to masterfully pave their path to the Final Three. That is, until Jesse made a legendary blindside. Not only one that sent a shell-shocked Cody to jury, but one that all but guarantees that Jesse will be this season’s Sole Survivor.

Did Gabler plant the seed for what Jesse ended up doing tonight? Gabler – the guy “hiding in plain sight,” and who is so invisible to the others that he has just a scarce chance at winning – did tell Jesse earlier in the episode that he was in Cody‘s shadow. That Jesse needed to carve out his own game or suffer the fate of a split jury who wouldn’t be able to differentiate between the moves made by Jesse, or that of his closest ally Cody, should the two be sitting in front of the final jury. Jesse has proved way smarter than that though, so while Gabler might have been on to something, I find it highly unlikely that that’s what ultimately persuaded Jesse to make this move. No, this assassin must have figured out at some point that he’d have to take out Cody, albeit for the same reasons laid out by Gabler.

This was undoubtedly one of the best moves of the season, and it creates a tragic end to Cody‘s Survivor story. I absolutely loved Cody, and wouldn’t be surprised if we see him play the game again. He was just an entertaining dude. But as great a social and strategic game that he played, he put way, way, way too much trust in Jesse. I can’t remember, in the history of Survivor, a player being completely OK with having someone else hang on to their Immunity Idol for nearly the entire game. Like, what the hell, for real? It’s an understood and accepted practice for a player to keep possession of their own Idols/Advantages…we’ve seen desperate players over the years hand over their Idols/Advantages as an act of building trust, but never have we seen someone so casually allow someone else to possess their most valued power in the game. It’s a testament to Jesse‘s social game that he was able to get Cody to trust him so blindly, but frankly, tonight’s blindside should have never happened had Cody even had a baseline awareness of what has up until this point been an understood norm. You just don’t do what Cody did, and I’m sure this decision will eat away at him for the rest of his life.

Jesse not only made a big move – skyrocketing him as the front-runner in the eyes of the jury and the audience – but he did so in a way that also managed to flush the Immunity Idol of his next big target, Karla. With mere seconds to react, how could Karla not play her Idol? Having herself cast her vote for Owen, the minute that Owen had Immunity, the outcome was a complete unknown. She had to play it, in her mind. And Jesse hedged his bets, correctly, that she would indeed spend her Idol.

The cherry on top is that even after all of the fireworks, Jesse STILL has one more Idol in his possession, one that nobody in the game knows he has. He can use it strategically to ensure who his next target is, or he can use it casually…but there is zero chance that he WON’T use it at the very next Tribal, when it’s the last chance to play any in-game advantages. This means that no matter what, Jesse will make Final Four, and that means that the only way that he can lost the game at this point is via the fire-making challenge. Because let’s face it, he wins the game in a landside should he sit next to any remaining combination of players. He has a shot to win Immunity at Final Four, but even if he loses and isn’t chosen to go to the finals by whomever does win, he still can earn his way there by making fire. So no matter how bad Karla, Cassidy, Gabler and/or Owen may want to get Jesse out of the game, this is his only scenario where he won’t be discussing his game with the jury from Final Three.

So it’s worth repeating: Wow.

Episode Take-Away: No question one of the best Tribals of the season, and I was simultaneously impressed by how dominant Jesse continues to be, while also feeling super-shattered that Cody was sent out the game. I just can’t believe what rationale he might have to explain why he would let Jesse hang on to his Idol, not just for this Tribal, but for the last several. It makes no sense and it’s maddening to see such an otherwise strong player make such a boneheaded judgment.

At this point in the season, I would usually go into detail as to each player’s chances of winning the game, but there’s never been a more clear-cut winner than Jesse Lopez. And as much as I like Jesse, I feel like his gameplay has set up what will be an anti-climactic Finale. Why? Well, odds are that if Jesse makes Final Three, that he will clearly win. Boooooring. But if Jesse does end up losing the fire-making challenge, it will somehow feel deeply disappointing. We would also end up with a winner that just wouldn’t feel satisfying. Owen? A very likable guy but a player who has had little control over his own game and has more often than not been on the wrong end of the vote. Karla would be great, but her gameplay the last few episodes would almost make it feel like she “backed-in” to the win, and wouldn’t be as satisfying as I might have imagined it would have felt a few weeks ago. Cassidy is also likable but it just doesn’t feel like she’s playing a winning game. And while I would personally love Gabler winning this season, it just doesn’t seem like he has any real chance in the eyes of the jury. So really, what other outcome can there be for this to have a fulfilling ending, other than seeing Jesse come out on top?

We will find out soon enough. Survivor 43 three-hour Finale is next Wednesday, and we’ll have a chance to see how Jesse closes out an absolutely stellar overall performance…or we’ll see how he manages to screw it up.

“This birthday just means relaxation and decompressing and resetting,” Trista shared with People. “Plus, palm trees make me happy!”

While in the Caribbean, the group, which included fellow Bachelorette alum Kaitlyn Bristowe and her fiancé Jason Tartick, enjoyed snorkeling and diving.

“Ryan took a bath the other night just as the sun was setting,” said Trista, whose seaside bungalow came complete with a butler and private infinity pool. “It was the most gorgeous setting,” Trista remarked. “It’s just dreamy.”

For Trista‘s birthday party, the six couples all dressed in white and enjoyed a dinner of Chilean sea bass, surf and turf, and a tropical fruit platter. They dined under the stars, overlooking the ocean. Trista blowing out sparklers on her chocolate cake was the climax of the meal.

“Everything [was] just stunning,” said Trista. “I feel really blessed to be able to make these beautiful memories with the people I love.”

The relaxing getaway was also an opportunity for Trista to reflect on the past few years and all that they have to be thankful for as a family. “I have to remind myself that every day that we have on this planet can be taken away in a heartbeat,” she stated.

People reported that in 2017, Trista suffered a life-threatening seizure, the cause of which was never explained, while on vacation with her family in Croatia. Then in 2020, Ryan, a fit and active dad to their two teenage children, started feeling “really, really drained,” he recalled. “My body hurt, I had zero energy and even getting up from the couch seemed impossible. And then, it just started spiraling rapidly.” It was over a year before they finally got a diagnosis of Lyme Disease, per People. He’s still undergoing treatment to this day.

“I’ll be honest, I don’t like getting older,” Trista confessed. Who does? “I don’t like aging in the least bit, and the changes in my body and the creaks and all of it. But the alternative is not what I want!” Trista said. “I want to watch my kids grow up and grow old with Ryan,” she added.

“We have had struggles, but I’m happy that Ryan and I are happy and healthy,” Trista said. “I feel really lucky. It’s a good life, and I’m thankful for it.”

And she still looks pretty darn good in a bikini, especially for a 50-year-old woman.

Trista and Ryan have been through a lot together in their nearly 20 years as a couple. They set the bar pretty high for Bachelor Nation and have to be the record holders for longest relationship in the franchise. Happy birthday, Trista!

Will Bachelor Nation's Becca Kufrin And Thomas Jacobs Televise Their Wedding?

Former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin and her fiancé Thomas Jacobs are planning a wedding!

After watching the blossoming of their romance on the 7th season of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021, fans may be hoping to see a TV wedding. But don’t hold your breath for bride-to-be Becca to “do the damn thing” with cameras rolling.

“I think right now we would probably say no to a TV wedding,” Becca recently told E! News. “At least the vows and the ceremony I would want to keep more intimate and have that just be between us and our families. The party, if that were to be on TV, I wouldn’t say no.”

After having so much of her life exposed on reality TV, especially the nasty filmed-as-it-was-happening breakup with Bachelor star and then-fiancé Arie Luyendyk Jr., can anybody really blame her for wanting to keep her special day private, for close friends and family only?

Following the brutally heartbreaking end of her engagement to Arie, Becca was given a second chance to find love when she took over the lead on Season 14 of The Bachelorette in 2018. She was the one offering the roses this time, and ended the season by getting engaged to medical sales rep Garrett Yrigoyen.

Garrett and Becca were engaged for two years, before splitting in 2020 over differences in their core values.

So while everything is still in the planning stage, Becca hasn’t entirely ruled out the possibility of a televised wedding. “I understand people have been with me since the beginning. They know me from The Bachelor, getting proposed to multiple times and not seeing that full story come together,” she explained. “I understand why people would want to maybe see that at some point. But if it happens, it happens. I’ve learned I can’t say no to anything, because when I say no, it always ends up happening,” Becca added.

The Minnesota native stated, “If it can be done tastefully and respectfully and true to who we are, maybe. I’m not saying yes. I’m not saying no.” I can see how letting ABC pay for everything would be tempting though. Weddings are expensive!

After Becca took things into her own hands and proposed to Thomas in May of this year, he followed suit with a proposal of his own — and another engagement ring — in October, cleverly staged at a pumpkin carving event. Becca joked at the time, “I never thought he’d actually propose after I just got done stabbing a pumpkin and had pumpkin guts under my fingernails!”

Now that they’ve begun actual wedding planning, the couple still needs to finalize some crucial details, like settling on a date and a location. “We initially wanted to do it around my dad’s birthday, just because it has such a special date,” Becca shared, as a way of honoring her late father. “We’re hoping October, but we want to keep it very small, very intimate so it would just be immediate family.” Becca continued, “We might elope. We would love to do it in Ojai, which is such a special place to us. But then we’re thinking maybe in January of 2024, we have a big party like ’20s-Gatsby-champagne-towers theme, where it’s more of just a celebration,” she added.

One thing attendees can expect is for the wedding to “not be traditional by any means.” Becca just wants everyone to have “a blast.”

“We’re going to have food trucks and games and a live swing band there,” Becca stated. “Most of my family and friends will be traveling [from] Minnesota, so I want it to be more of an experience for them, where they can celebrate all weekend and not just four hours of a ceremony and a sit-down meal. I just want everyone to mingle and have a good time. That’s what we’re aiming for.” She added, “I say that now, but we don’t have anything set.”

Sounds like it’s going to be a fun party, and I can’t help but hope we get to see Becca finally tie the knot, after all we’ve seen her go through. I find it hard to believe she would turn down the assist with the expense once she really gets into planning.

At any rate, I wish Becca and Thomas the best. Here’s to a happy life together!
