Raquel Leviss Will Compete In Miss California USA Competition

Raquel Leviss is re-envisioning the direction for her life.  After ending her engagement to James Kennedy late last year, it seems that the Vanderpump Rules beauty’s personal life isn’t the only arena that is evolving. Certainly having time and energy to focus on oneself can work wonders for ambitions and dreams.

Indeed, Raquel is a seasoned pageant participant. She’s mentioned her pageant career in prior interviews, but a recent post on social media shared some news about that career.  According to a recent Instagram post, Raquel is currently preparing for the Miss California USA competition however, she anticipates that it will be her last performance.

Raquel had just completed a photo shoot for the pageant before posting an image of herself sitting in her car.  She labeled the moment,”bittersweet,” People reported.

“I just wrapped my last ever Miss California USA headshot,” Raquel wrote. “It’s so bittersweet knowing this will be the last time I compete in a state pageant.  Fingers crossed that it won’t be my last pageant ever and that I will have the opportunity to represent California on the Miss USA stage.”

Raquel reminisced about what she enjoyed the most about competing, and the impact it had on her.  She continued, “You may know me as the ‘the pageant girl’ but my one wish is to debunk the stereotype that comes to mind.  Through this experience I’ve met some of the most kindhearted girls who truly want to leave a positive impact on our world.”

The famously soft-spoken Sur waitress seemed to find her voice on Vanderpump Rules Season 9.  Maybe enough confrontations with Lala Kent will do that to a person, but Raquel also credits participation in pageants.  She explained, “the two things I have always strived for, as I completed on and off throughout the years of my young adult life, were self-improvement and building confidence.  Looking back at the times I did compete, I truly see such a beautiful transformation and I owe a lot of that to pageantry.”

Raquel added, “I am so proud of the woman I have become.  My thoughts and opinions are not only important but they are kind and beautiful.”

Championing her fans to work on their own self-esteem, Raquel then shared some advice.  “A unique perspective is meant to be shared,” she wrote, “if you have self doubt, try to understand why you’re seeking approval from others.  Then turn around and give your younger self the validation that you have always deserved.”

“Smiling and tearing up,” Raquel concluded. It seems she is having difficulty concluding this chapter of her life. Certainly, pageantry was a very influential part of her life.

Contrast this with her reaction after splitting up with James.  Hey, when it’s time to move on, you know. When VPR costar Scheana Shay had Raquel on her “Scheananigans” podcast, she asked her to describe the breakup.  Raquel responded, “So I just told him, ‘Truly, my heart isn’t in it anymore. I don’t appreciate the way that you treat other people; it’s not how I treat other people.'”

Below Deck Down Under Recap: Tears Of A Crocodile

No more Mr. Nice Captain. All season long, Captain Jason Chambers has tried to be more cool older brother than demanding boss. But he’s finally reached his (still rather sedate) boiling point with Chef Ryan McKeown. In truth, it’s surprising that a confrontation has taken this long. What with Ryan’s poor attitude about doing literally anything asked of him by the guests. I mean, this entire argument with the captain started with the chef blatantly refusing to use the squid the guests caught as part of his dinner menu. Like, that’s not that difficult of a request, bro. They’re quite literally handing you the sea creature. Plus, he ends up cooking the squid anyway after the guests ask him point blank about it at the table. It’s just too bad Captain Jason can’t find an immediate replacement given the necessary quarantine period required for new crew.

While Benny Crawley entertains the guests with another round of night fishing, Captain Jason goes straight to Aesha Scott to dish about his clash with Ryan. Which seems like an odd move as the captain of the boat, but OK. He wants the three of them to meet after the charter to squash all the underlying issues. But we can all guess how well that’s going to go…Meanwhile, Chef Ryan goes to bed irritated as ever. And Aesha leaves a mountain of wine glasses in the galley for Magda Ziomek to wash on night shift. Hmm..is she still punishing the third stew? Either way, it’s certainly not helping the growing animosity Magda’s started feeling towards her boss.

It’s only a short, two-day charter for the bachelor party, and the next morning it’s time to head back to dry land. And before she’s even awake, Magda‘s already in trouble. Aesha‘s annoyed to find a solitary glass still in the sink. Stuck in the middle, Tumi Mhlongo posits that the crux of the issue is that Aesha’s “friends first” management style doesn’t exactly do Magda, who needs a firm hand, any favors. And she’s not wrong. The deck crew is also on Jamie Sayed‘s bad side. He’s mad at Benny for leaving the deck a mess overnight despite having to entertain all the guests. And he snaps at Brittini Burton when she asks if they can start switching off going down into the chain locker. Apparently this is the bosun’s version of better leadership.

Things are chilly between Captain Jason and Chef Ryan, too. But there’s no time to address the tension yet, because they have to get breakfast served and the guests back to shore first. As the buck’s party entourage make their way off the boat, Culver Bradbury gets particular compliments for his performance as Keith Stone, Exotic Dancer from the night before. And Captain Jason gets a custom captain’s hat and the envelope full of tip money. Before the tip meeting, he also reaches out to a yacht staffer to get resumes for new chef candidates. Sorry, Ryan, that’s kind of what happens when you blatantly disregard the captain’s feedback to his face.

The tip meeting is the first thing to go well for pretty much the entire episode. Not only were the group of guys relatively easy as guests come, they also left a tip of $17,600. That totals out to $1,460 per person for a little over two days work. And that’s not all! Since they’re officially halfway through the season, Captain Jason gifts the crew with a day off. They’ll be going on a crocodile safari. Which judging by Culver‘s reaction, is apparently his greatest dream in life. Jamie, on the other hand, gets the disco ball helmet of shame for all the little ways his team continues to drop the ball. Though obviously, he thinks either Benny or Brittini should be the one wearing the glittery dunce cap.

Dismissing the rest of the crew, Captain Jason calls a private meeting with Aesha and Ryan. Though the chief stew already knows she’s not the one in trouble. So it all comes across as a bit of a song and dance aimed at singling out the chef. He specifically calls out Ryan’s attitude. And warns that he’s not above making him walk the proverbial plank if things don’t change, and quickly. And would you look at that? Rather than lash back, the conversation actually prompts an apology from Ryan. Ok, sure, he claims it was only out of spite as to not give Aesha the satisfaction of seeing him get fired. But it still happened.

Captain Jason also has another fire to put out. That being Magda‘s constant phone use. We learned last week that she’s running through five gigabytes of data every day. Which I didn’t think was important enough to warrant a mention in my recap. But apparently it’s issue worth having a proper sit-down over. (Is the crew on some sort of temporary family plan? Why isn’t Magda alone responsible for how much data she uses? Also have they heard of unlimited?)

Another successful charter means it’s time for another crew night out. And was I the only one who caught the girls quoting Ja’mie: Private School Girl on the van ride to the restaurant? How very Australian of them! On a smoke break away from the table, Magda complains to Tumi about the issues she’s having with Aesha. But the only advice the second stew has for her pal is to learn how to be the very best she can at her job. And hopefully let the petty drama roll off her back. But speaking of petty drama, little grievances continue erupting over dinner, whether it’s Benny accidentally spilling prawn juice on Jamie or Brittini playfully calling him a “b—h” for not knowing a song by The Beatles.

The next morning, it’s the crew’s day off. And it’s time to go find some crocodiles in the wild. All narrated by Crocodile DunCulver from the confessional chair, of course. While Captain Jason takes Stacie the blow-up doll to the wheelhouse, the crew heads to the Prosperine River. And suddenly it feels like something straight out of Survivor: The Australian Outback. As a native Australian, Jamie‘s too cool for the crocodile excursion. But the rest of the crew are losing their minds over spotting the reptiles in the wild. Back at the boat, the captain’s having significantly less great of a day as he finds trash bags filled with maggots and rotting seafood that failed to be unloaded with the garbage.

At lunch following the crocodile tour, Magda and Ryan sneak off to commiserate over their shared disdain for Aesha. The chef claims he can see how Aesha mistreats Magda at work. And the third stew is more than happy to finally get the validation Tumi refused to give her the night before. Meanwhile, the lowkey sparks continue to fly between Culver and Brittini as Jamie gives them a free bachata dance lesson on the beach. It seems the entire crew is fully in support of this potential showmance happening. And you have to admit the way Culver says “Brittini” in his Southern frat boy accent is pretty gosh darn adorable…

As the night wears on, Chef Ryan‘s attitude only gets worse. And he tries roping Tumi onto the Aesha hate train, but the second stew isn’t having it. Instead, she defends her boss, and appropriately shades Ryan via confessional for daring to question anyone else’s work ethic. And later, Jamie finally reveals why he’s such a stickler for safety, opening up to the crew about a time he tried to save a 12-year-old Chinese boy who drowned, but couldn’t resuscitate him. However, down at the other end of the table, Ryan and Magda would rather continue to bash Aesha than listen to Jamie’s story.

Unable to take any more of the backbiting, Tumi brings Aesha to the bathroom and tells her everything Ryan and Magda have been saying behind her back all afternoon. You can cut the tension with a knife when the two stews return to the table. Aesha expects it from Ryan, but she feels especially betrayed by Magda. What a perfect time to head back to the boat! Instead of confronting the duo, Aesha retreats to her cabin, where she eventually breaks down in tears to Brittini. But what she doesn’t realize is that Ryan can hear every word she’s saying from his own cabin. He’s furious to discover Tumi snitched on him. And promptly storms up to the hot tub to confront her for spreading what he claims is “false information.” And with that, the episode ends with Aesha in tears, Ryan screaming at Tumi, and Tumi laughing in his face as she tells him to “suck [her] d–k.” Yikes.

Peacock Adds Next-Day Streaming For Current Bravo Shows

Streaming services are so popular these days, it tends to make me wonder why we all jumped to get rid of cable TV in the first place. Truthfully, those of us who are reality TV-obsessed only need a few channels — Bravo, TLC, just the essentials. The endless launches of new streaming services tend to be annoying and only further complicate the way we watch our favorite shows. Well, that was the case, before NBC gifted us with the blessing of Peacock.

I’m the last person to celebrate having to subscribe to another monthly bill, but Peacock has been delivering for the $5 a month price tag or whatever it costs. The streaming service revived the Real Housewives of Miami from the dead and somehow made it better than before. It was definitive proof that even the Real Housewives formula can use a shake-up from time to time. Since then, Peacock has only been further expanding the Bravo empire with more shows, and we should all be thankful.

Now, there’s even more exciting news about the streaming service. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Peacock has begun offering next-day streaming of shows that are currently airing on Bravo. That means if you can’t stay awake to see your favorite stars on Watch What Happens Live or you have a date night during the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion, you can easily catch up the next day.

Peacock was planning to roll out this feature in September. Unlike Sheree Whitfield’s She by Sheree joggers, this gift has come early. The news comes just in time for the new seasons of classics like Real Housewives of Atlanta or Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. If your household was getting sick of the amount of Bravo TV you have playing on a regular basis, it’s best to warn them that this function is probably only going to further escalate that so-called “problem.” As for the rest of us, it’s time to sit back with a LoverBoy a la Summer House (or a glass of Luann de Lesseps‘ Fosé) and enjoy even more of our favorite shows.

Real Housewives Of New Jersey Season 12 Reunion Part 1 Recap: A Family Divided

This reunion feels like it might be the most dramatic one in years for The Real Housewives of New Jersey. There’s the Louie Ruelas of it all. There’s also what appears to be the final nail in the coffin of Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga’s fake relationship.

These looks got a lot of flack online, but I think these ladies look great for the reunion. Jersey doesn’t get enough credit for their reunion looks. They’re nowhere near as horrendous as some of the other cities tend to be.

Teresa’s not supposed to yell because she’s not cleared by the doctors to do so. We’ll see how long that lasts because she’s not someone who typically sits there quietly. She’s going to talk her talk and scream in the face of opposition.

A Friendship On The Rocks

Jackie Goldschneider says she doesn’t fear Dolores Catania. However, Dolores’ was exhibiting some anger that looked like it was on the verge of something physical. There was no reason to refer to Jackie as “this”. She was speaking the truth at that moment because Dolores teeters the fence far too often.

Dolores feels like she was a good friend to Dolores. Jackie feels like she was the same. However, it seems like Margaret Josephs was playing both sides of the fence in the Jennifer Aydin/Dolores feud. Every year at the reunion it comes out that Marge is doing more fake and fraudulent shit. How are they not clued into how she operates?

Jennifer wants to know if it was Dolores or Frank Catania’s plan to bring the digging for dirt up on camera. She feels like Dolores has jumped shipped to be besties with Marge. Considering Dolores and Margaret used to be mortal enemies, it’s a little weird.

Jennifer thinks Dolores had a hidden agenda because she didn’t want her to look bad. She feels like it was all a way to protect Margaret. Woah. I kind of like this, because these two having a falling out, is needed for this group. The dynamics have gotten stale, and something needed to have a shakeup. This is perfect. ‘

Margaret tries to say that Dolores has defended Jennifer for a long time. However, Jennifer’s sick of it.  Jennifer is always going toe-to-toe with these women at reunions. She’s always forced to be on the defensive.

Dolores is shocked because Jennifer has been saying she’s not a good friend. She can’t believe the things being said about her in the press. Dolores is disgusted by all of this, and Teresa tries to stick up for her.

Dolores and Jennifer go back and forth telling each other to shut the f**k up. Everyone at this reunion is against Jennifer, except for Teresa. The only thing I don’t agree with is Jennifer trying to pin everything on Margaret. Let’s be clear, Margaret didn’t hurt a happy home. She may have brought something up and allowed it to resurface, but she didn’t make something up out of thin air.

Jennifer’s defending her emotions which I feel like she was entitled to do. Jennifer says she changed her emotions toward Jackie after actually hearing what she said about Bill Aydin. It wasn’t the massive dagger that Dolores was trying to make it out to be. Dolores was twisting it to use it against Jackie.

Jackie’s right to defend herself, but Teresa doesn’t see it that way. She’s trying to push a narrative that Jackie was being mean-spirited. Tre also calls out Jackie for ghosting her as a friend after her fallout with Margaret. They were never close friends like that, but please go on.

Teresa calls Jackie a bitch, so there goes any progress they ever made. Tre’s so classy. Jennifer calls out Jackie for being an insecure follower to Margret. Speak your truth!

Jennifer is seemingly done with Dolores. She’s tired of the way Dolores minimizes her friendship. I’d assume their dynamic means these two are likely both returning next season. As of now, I wouldn’t mind seeing Jackie get demoted or cut from the show. I’m still on the fence about Teresa and without Teresa, it doesn’t make sense to have Melissa.

Teresa’s Love Bubble

Teresa says Margaret was going after Louie’s life, and he never signed up for it. Man, that’s tough because he always knew she was a public figure. Unfortunately, that comes with the territory.

I don’t understand why Teresa’s so committed to saying Marge started the rumors. These were out there forever before Marge ever said anything. Whatever.

Louie is the opposite of Joe Giudice, and they’ve allegedly never fought. He’s so hot-tempered, so it’s difficult to believe that. Teresa believes she was never in love with Joe, which is so crazy to hear. She used to go to war with her costars about that man. Yet, somehow it comes across like everything that was ever said about him was true. Their marriage wasn’t the cookie-cutter crock of shit she was making it out to be.

Dolores backtracks and changes the tone of her dog analogy about Teresa. Of course, she did. She’s forever one of Tre’s little soldiers.

Teresa reveals that she hasn’t decided whether or not to get a prenup. Please get one. This man is red flag central. Everyone’s also confused about why Dolo wasn’t invited to the engagement party. Somehow Melissa was invited, but not her longtime friend. ODD.

Teresa’s asked why Melissa isn’t in her wedding, and she reveals everything. Teresa says they aren’t close. Melissa says when Tre was in prison, she was the one taking care of her dying mother. She doesn’t want Teresa to take anything away from her.

Melissa says for she and Tre to stop faking that they have a relationship. We’re finally getting somewhere. The fake shit is dropped, and these two can finally get real again. Margaret tries to comment on it, but Teresa tells her to shut the fuck up and calls her a stupid bitch. Is this her swan song?

Teresa gets pissed off because Melissa didn’t marry Joe Gorga after she had her baby. She wanted her to move the wedding until after she had it. That’s so weird and hypocritical.

A Family Divided

Teresa can’t remember a time that she had her brother’s back. Nobody in that family ever practices the loyalty they preach. Both Tre and Joe suck at being loyal to each other. It’s never going to change. Also, this show has torn their family apart. I’d imagine things were better before money and fame got in the way.

Melissa flips the script and says Tre should’ve had her back after Jennifer got physical with her. Not only that, but she also wanted Tre to intervene after her brother was called a crook by Jennifer. These are all valid points, but both Teresa and Melissa are hypocrites.

I don’t think it’s that weird the girls didn’t enjoy Joe talking about their father. They should all stop badmouthing each other in the press. It’s not that difficult. I hate seeing a family rip each other to shreds on our screens.

Joe sends his anger toward Jennifer, but this is more about Teresa and Melissa/Joe. Although, Teresa saying Joe’s a bitch boy for being on Housewives is a little low. That’s so fucking degrading. Why is she so nasty to them?

Joe takes the stage and is openly hurt about Teresa not including Melissa in the wedding. Melissa says Louie only calls Joe to talk about the show. That’s it. Melissa is poking a ton of holes into Tre’s narrative about being all about family.

Joe and Teresa are falling out right before our very eyes. Joe can’t even get a word in edgewise, and Teresa’s so stuck in the past. It’s funny because I started the season a big Tre fan and someone eager to rid the show of Joe and Melissa. However, this time I think Tre’s the one who looks bad.

Melissa/Joe and also Teresa all claim to be the only ones who try in these relationships. One of these sides is wrong. If everyone was trying their best to be a real family, they wouldn’t be arguing on TV like this. What we are seeing is years of a sham relationship cracking into tiny little pieces.

Joe walks off the stage and says he’s done. He quits. This is the end of the road. He says “fuck you people” and walks off the set. He screams for Teresa to be a sister once in a while. WELL DAMN.

Marlo Hampton Slams Kenya Moore For Betraying Cynthia Bailey

Marlo Hampton is certainly trying to make her mark. The longtime “friend of” was finally upgraded to full time housewife on Real Housewives of Atlanta this season. But according to Marlo, not everyone on the cast is happy she’s finally holding a peach.

As reported by Reality Blurb, Marlo is accusing veteran Kenya Moore of not being excited for her. Said Marlo, “It’s just sad. I deserve this seat at the table.” She added, “You know what? It’s my season. I came in here as the hero. I think Kenya’s a little delusional.” Meh, delusional is thinking that you’re immediately the hero after spending 10 years on the sidelines.

After patching things up with Kenya at the end of last season, Marlo said she was ready to continue the friendship. She shared, “I came right into this season being an amazing friend: 10 toes down, being a friend, that’s supportive, going above and beyond.” Marlo said that they even “unblocked each other” on social media but now, they keep each other at a distance.

Marlo stated that she saw Kenya in a different light when she was featured on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. She elaborated, “One thing Granny always said, ‘You can’t hide your authentic self,’ the real Kenya is going to shine bright, like a diamond.” Marlo continued, “The same way she poured that drink on [Ramona Singer], the same way she back-stabbed [Cynthia Bailey], who’s so sweet and has rode for Kenya for years? For her to betray Cynthia, I know you’re not the friend for me.”

As we saw in the premiere, questions about Marlo’s finances are coming up. Something Marlo doesn’t appreciate coming from Kenya. Said Marlo, “It’s embarrassing. I’m getting paid, if they don’t know when I post, I’m getting paid on the platform I’m on, that’s OK. I don’t live above my means. I live in a townhome that’s paid for. Do you think, I’m just broke? Like, I wasn’t smart enough to have investments or properties and different streams of income? It’s insulting.” As for the allegations on having a sugar daddy, Marlo asked, “It’s been a decade. Where are your receipts?!”

Finally, she concluded with a major dig, “Kenya is rusty, dried up and tired, and a has-been, and I want her to stop worrying about where my money comes from. She needs to worry about making her some money.” Truly asking, how can one be a “has-been” when they have been a main cast member on RHOA for 10 years? Just in the last year alone, Kenya was on Dancing With The Stars and RHUGT, where she was a fan favorite. I would like to see Marlo’s resume, please.

Love her or hate her, Kenya has proven her worth as a housewife. Marlo is just getting started. So let’s see what she brings to the “Le Table.”

Selling Sunset Star Christine Quinn Left The Oppenheim Group

After five binge-worthy seasons it looks like things may over for Christine Quinn at the Oppenheim Group on Selling Sunset. The season five finale episode left things open-ended after Christine was caught trying to buy clients from her one-week maternity leave replacement, Emma Hernan. Christine was called in to the realty office to speak with her superiors on the matter, but instead, she no-showed the appointment.

For the first time ever, fans of Selling Sunset will be treated to a reunion episode. This hallmark moment was presumably when viewers would learn about Christine’s fate with the Oppenheim Group. Unfortunately, Christine contracted COVID, or something, and wasn’t able to make the reunion taping. Not even a video call!??!

Lucky for us, a source revealed to Us Weekly how things end for dear Christine. It was reported that she is no longer with the Oppenheim Group. The source said, “It was Christine’s decision to leave the Oppenheim Group.” How convenient! Christine’s bio has also been cut from the brokerage’s website according to the source.

Christine’s disagreements with Jason and Brett Oppenheim doesn’t start and stop with her ethics, apparently. It’s also reported that she has left the company because they were not forward thinking enough with their use of cryptocurrency. Said Christine, “A lot of brokerages are very wary about accepting crypto because they don’t understand the inner workings of it, so that’s why it’s very difficult for agents to do these transactions.”

Christine told Forbes earlier this month, “A) the brokers don’t know anything about crypto; B) don’t know how to do it; and C) don’t understand how reliable and how safe it actually is. The process that RealOpen [the company she cofounded with her husband] uses is absolutely reliable and fool-proof.” Weird that she wasn’t sharing her botox and burger or caviar and couture gimmicks, if you ask me.

While we know the series is green lit for two more seasons, there is no word yet on plans for season six for Selling Sunset. With the exit of Christine, the split of Jason and Chrishell Stause, and the promotion of Mary Fitzgerald, it’s anyone’s guess what things could look like.

Mary Fitzgerald Thinks Christine Quinn Faked Covid-19 To Skip Selling Sunset Reunion

Christine Quinn was the straw that stirred the drink in season four and season five of Netflix’s Selling Sunset. She accused her replacement, Emma Hernan of being “the other woman” in her previous relationship with Peter Connell. She also tried to lure Emma’s clients away by using cash offers (allegedly).

Season five was set to be Christine’s reckoning. It is the first ever season of Selling Sunset to film a reunion. As luck would (or wouldn’t) have it, however, Christine didn’t make it to the reunion taping. Apparently she tested positive for COVID right before filming.

There has been a lot of suspicion surrounding Christine’s convenient viral infection. Should we state the obvious? She has a lot to answer for with her cast-mates and coworkers. Not for nothing, Christine had a baby in season four. That said, she has pretty much succeeded in avoiding any of these women for longer than 30 minutes since her iconic wedding in the season three finale episode.

According to Page Six, Mary Fitzgerald isn’t believing what Christine has to say. When asked by a reporter outside the Oppenheim Offie whether or not she believed her co-star, Mary replied, “No. I mean, me personally? No, because we all tested on Tuesday and then again on Friday.”

Mary claimed that Christine’s results were negative during both of her tests, so she should have been able to tape on Sunday. Mary speculated, “Probably because she didn’t want to face everything she’s done.”

“I mean, that would be my guess, but it’s sad because we all showed up. We didn’t want to have to talk to her about her actions, and I’m sure she didn’t want to have answers for her actions. So, we didn’t want to be there talking about it either, but it’s our job. We’re doing it.”

Mary was also asked whether or not she thought the show could survive without Christine in the mix. She rolled her eyes and said, “I think it will be fine without her,” before conceding that keeping Christine around might be what’s best for the ratings.

“Thankfully it’s not my job. I don’t want to have to make that decision,” Mary continued.  “I think Christine is great for the show. I just don’t think she’s good for the office. But she’s good for the show, so I’ll let that be Jason [Oppenheim] and Netflix’s decision.”

The Summer House Season 6 Reunion Trailer Is Here

All good things must come to an end. This season of Summer House is no different. And while I couldn’t stand much of the dynamics this season, I still appreciated the opportunity to hate. I think we can all agree by now, watching two grown and conventionally successful women fight over Austen Kroll was absolute torture.

The Summer House reunion teaser was released in time for the finale episode to air. During the video clips, provided by Us Weekly, it seemed like everyone had something to say about the Ciara Miller and Lindsay Hubbard thirst-off. Even chronically absent Alex Wach made his thoughts on the matter known.

During the reunion clips Alex is seen telling Ciara and Lindsay, “I also don’t get it. I don’t understand why you’re fighting so much for literally, like, the Honda Civic of male attractiveness.”. Where has this guy been all season!? Please bring him back for more! Things only got shadier from there, too.

Ciara tried to defend her position with Austen saying, “He did get an earful off camera,” followed by Lindsay asking, “Is that when you guys hooked up?” I’m STUNNED. Even Andy Cohen seemed bewildered. He said, “I’m surprised to hear you hooked up with him after all that.”

Of course there will also be plenty to see between Danielle Olivera and Ciara. These two will re-hash the wine glass incident, as well as what took place during the show’s airing.

Other notable moments in the reunion trailer include the tension between Paige DeSorbo and Lindsay. Paige somehow scored a seat next to Andy, which I can’t understand. She’s also directly next to Lindsay who she refuses to look at through the duration of the taping. At one point Paige tells Carl Radke, “Carl, I understand that you want to defend her the whole time, but she can talk.”

Carl and Lindsay’s relationship is full force at the reunion, with the two seated together. We will also get to see what the couple’s reaction is to the other house-mates snubbing them for likes on Instagram. (What??? Who knew?!)

Of course, there was a segment of the video dedicated to Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s relationship. Kyle was questioned about whether he was married to work or to his wife. He seemed to deflect the question before Andy pressed him to give a real answer. Honestly, I am not sure who cares. Aren’t we all still drained from that wedding?

90 Day Fiancé Recap: Pinot You Didn’t

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé, was full of reunions and drama. Many of the foreign fiancé’s are just arriving to start a new life in the United States. Although they are wide eyed and excited, they may not find everything is as they thought. Everyone is looking for opportunity whether that is as a parent, partner or a lavish life. But from the look of things, I think this is going to be one hell of a ride.

Bilal finally comes clean to Shaeeda.  Emily’s first-day request stuns Kobe.  Miona meets Jibri’s skeptical parents. Biniyam’s confession to his sisters doesn’t go as planned.  Yvette welcomes Mohamed to the United States. Let’s get straight to the recap.

Bilal, 42 (Kansas City, Missouri) and Shaeeda, 37 (Trinidad and Tobago)

Bilal is still feeling disappointed about Shaeeda reaction to what she believed to be his humble abode. But when she wakes up the next morning, she quickly apologizes for her behavior. Apparently she was tired and in shock that she left her life for someone who may not be who she perceived him to be. Whew… At least she said something because I was looking at her with the side eye. Although, I understand her concerns, many of the things she said were not only insulting but bratty. Bilal leaves the house for errands and she immediately calls her mother and complains about the situation. Her mom gives her some sage advice. She encourages Shaeeda to give him a chance to prove that he is a hard worker and can be a good man. Good luck with this one, Bilal. I think you may have found someone who is more interested in your money, than you.

Bilal finally takes Shaeeda to his real home, under the guise of going to his mother’s for lunch. When she finds out she will actually be staying in a “nice” home, she can’t contain her joy. I almost don’t feel she deserves the gifts and things he prepared for her.  In a post interview, she admits to being frustrated that she was put through “hell” in the first house. It also is a sign that he doesn’t totally trust her. Well, after her behavior, maybe he shouldn’t trust you. She seemed more excited about living in a nice house, than actually spending time with the man she left everything for. Was she searching for love or opportunity? I will let you be the judge.

Yvette, 48 (Albuquerque, New Mexico) and Mohamed, 25 (Egypt)

Yvette excitedly picks up Mohamed up from the airport. He gets his first taste of America when he is able to express affection in a public place. Despite her excitement, she is secretly worried that their cultures may too different. He will have to adjust to a totally different way of life in New Mexico. When they arrive home, he is happy to see a big home and all of the effort she has made to make him comfortable. She even framed a picture of Mohamed and his mom. The only thing that is missing is a bidet, which is very important in his religion. I’m not sure how this all will turn out in the end. Mohammed admits to looking for a mother figure and wife. Although Yvette is older, that is a tall order for a relationship.

Ariela, 30, (Princeton, New Jersey) and Biniyam, 31 (Ethiopia)

Ariela and Biniyam will be moving back to the United States very shortly. There is just one issue, he has not told his family yet. They have been living and raising their son in Ethiopia, but their relationship has been quite the roller coaster. Honestly, I didn’t think these two would have made it this far. Their relationship is riddled with trust and communication issues. Now they are hoping for a fresh start in New Jersey.

Biniyam finally reveals to his friends that he and Ariela will be leaving to go to America in three days. He shares his main reason is so that he stays in his son’s life. But he also wants to continue his relationship with Ariela. The only issue is that his family still is not aware of this decision.  Later, Biniyam’s family and friends arrive to his video premier party. Although his sister’s don’t know about the bomb about to be dropped, they don’t seem happy to see Ariela. He then tells his family he is moving the next day, in front of everyone. SMH! This has disaster written all over it. Just as I expected, they are extremely upset. Biniyam should have known better than to wait to the last minute to tell them something so sensitive in public, at the last minute. An argument ensues between Ariela and Biniyam’s sisters and things escalate when a drink is thrown in her face.  Whew! This whole situation is a mess. I don’t think there is any coming back from this. Maybe this could have been avoided had Biniyam just manned up and told the truth.

Jibri, 28 (Rapid City, South Dakota) and Miona, 23 (Serbia)

Jibri picks up Miona from the airport equipped with everything from cowboy hats to pink boots. I guess he knows the way to his girl’s heart because she loves her gifts. But she makes it clear she isn’t willing to be a cowgirl for long in South Dakota. Mona is accustomed to big city living and Jibri’s hometown isn’t exactly measuring up.

When Miona and Jibri arrive at his parent’s house and they instantly like her. But that doesn’t stop them from laying down their rules and trying to get to know Miona better. Jibri gets frustrated when he feels his fiancé is being grilled on her first night. Honestly, I think it could have been worse. Many parents wouldn’t have allowed them to stay in the same room until their married. This is going to be interesting to see just how long Miona will be able to endure prairie life.

Emily, 29 (Salina, Kansas) and Kobe, 34 (Cameroon)

Emily picks Kobe up from the airport and he can’t wait to finally see his son in person. But unbeknownst to him, she has other plans in mind.  Instead of going straight home, she wants the night to themselves before meeting with her family. Her idea doesn’t go over that well. Naturally, he wants to meet his son after never having the chance to fully be in his life. In a post interview, he shares that he feels Emily is being selfish, but reluctantly agrees. Why does their date night need to happen when he first arrives? Could they not go to the house and allow him to meet everyone and settle in and have a date the next weekend? She even admits in an interview, that she wouldn’t have agreed as a mother yet didn’t hesitate to put him in that position.

At dinner, Kobe becomes uncomfortable when he realizes that there isn’t much diversity in Salina. Things get tense, when Emily demands to know how much money he has with him. She reminds him that he still needs to buy her a ring and they have to pay for a wedding. Wow! Maybe this is a conversation you could have off camera. I’m sure as a man who isn’t going to be able to work for many months doesn’t want to spend all of his money on their wedding. Also, I’m sure he isn’t comfortable with anyone taking care of him, so to badger him about it on his first night on camera, just feels wrong. He claims when they lived in China together he paid for most things, so I don’t think he is looking for a free ride.

The peaches are back! Finally, The Real Housewives of Atlanta are back on our screens. Everyone’s favorite OG (not named NeNe Leakes) is back! She by Sheree is the MOMENT! Not only that, but Marlo Hampton finally has her peach. This season is going to be GOOD.

The season kicks off with Kenya Moore practicing her dance moves. I guess she was able to show her Dancing with the Stars stuff after all. I guess you shouldn’t always believe rumors. Big props for Kenya’s success.

Kenya loves her dance partner, and it looks like she might be smitten. I mean, I can see why. He’s quite easy on the eyes and an incredible dancer.

Kandi Burruss drops by the dance studio to hang with Kenya. The newest peach holder Marlo is there as well! My new favorite thing is Marlo introducing herself as if we haven’t known her for years. Embrace your newfound peach status. We are LIVING for this moment.

Anyway, Kandi says people still don’t know what Marlo does for a living. She owns and operates a fashion showroom that rents out designer pieces. That’s not what I was expecting.

Marlo’s planning a gala to introduce her business to everyone in Atlanta. This is Marlo’s moment. If someone doesn’t show up with a drumline, I’m rioting.

Kandi shades Marlo for riding the fact that she dated a billionaire for all of these years. Forget all of that though because SHEREE WHITFIELD IS BACK! Who gon’ check her boo?

The first question when Sheree arrives is Kenya asking about Tyrone Gilliams. However, Tyrone is FINALLY home. No more prison bae. He’s on the outside as a free man. I can’t believe she waited this many years for Tyrone. That’s commitment.

Unfortunately, Tyrone was paroled to Philly, so he can’t come to Atlanta yet. In terms of the group, Kenya and Sheree are in a much better place because Sheree doesn’t think Kenya’s a mean girl anymore.

Sheree’s not giving Tyrone any of that good time loving which has all of the ladies flabbergasted. DID SHE WAIT THIS ENTIRE TIME? Lord.

Kenya and Marc Daly are still married in the world’s longest divorce. This is approaching Bethenny Frankel levels of length. Why can’t she fully pull the plug on this sham of a marriage? It’s time.

Marlo asks Kandi if she and Todd Tucker are sleeping together five times a week and giving blowjobs. Well, damn, Marlo. That’s direct to the point. However, Kandi and Todd aren’t doing as much because they’re always tired. Marlo says Kandi should quit one of her many jobs to have sex with her man. She has her peach, and she’s trying to give the world’s worst life coaching.

A Marlo solo scene! Now that she has her peach, we can finally see a glimpse into her elusive personal life. She’s still raising her nephews because their mother is currently in prison. It’s a lot for her to take on, and this is so much longer than she ever expected.

Marlo thought the boys were staying with her for a weekend, but now it’s approaching three weeks. Her life changed overnight in her new role as their primary caretaker. It’s a side of Marlo I never thought we’d ever get to see. It adds so much depth to her.

The boys’ lifestyle is more extravagant than they’re used to, so she wants them to never forget where they came from. I love getting to see a softer side of her. She’s not entirely about the drama.

Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman are still on their bullshit. Their marriage gives off the weirdest vibes. She already feels somewhat disconnected from the rest of the group. Eh. I’m trying to be open-minded about Drew this season, but she makes it difficult. Last season, she was doing the most.

Drew introduces us to Sanya Richards-Ross who already has electric energy. She’s going to be a great addition to the group. Drew wants Sanya to be involved in her 21 days weight loss program. Eh.

Drew was approached to be the face of this, and now it’s taking off across the nation. Sure, Jan. Drew says she was a track star in high school and could’ve gone to the Olympics. The two of them race to see who the fastest is, and naturally, Sanya smokes her.

Drew’s workout is honestly embarrassing in comparison to Sanya. This makes Sanya confused as to how Drew has her workout program. Same girl.

Drew doesn’t know where she fully stands with Ralph because new issues have arrived. These two are forever giving us messy marriage problems. Drew found messages on Ralph’s phone from a woman wanting to give him a massage. Read between the lines Drew. I mean, come on.

WOW. We get to see Kenya’s daughter on the show this year. Her face doesn’t have to be blurred out. I guess progress is being made with Marc.

Marlo sends all of the women the most extra invitation ever. A woman dressed for the Met Gala shows up at all of their houses and gives an invitation from a computer. Everything was great until she brought out the computer. The execution was off with this one.

Sanya’s family moved to the United States when she was 12, but Jamaica still has her heart. She’s been with her husband for more than half of her life. I’ve only been married for six months, so I couldn’ve even imagine that timeline. That feels like a lifetime! I hope to achieve it.

Sanya doesn’t want to have another child because she thinks it’ll negatively strain her marriage. Some marriage tension right out of the gate. That’s tough. Please don’t start the same way Drew did. It’s weird when we don’t know you. Let us in gradually because it’s too much too soon.

Drew’s launching a meal prep business and asking Sanya and Kandi to give some feedback. Drew claims she lost 25 lbs in three weeks, but everyone thinks she got the mommy makeover. They feel duped by the words coming out of her mouth.

Ralph walks in during Drew telling Kandi and Sanya about his relationship with the assistant. He walks in and immediately gets defensive. He’s making a ton of excuses for his highly inappropriate relationship with this woman.

This all is coming off iffy because his track record sucks. This is another bizarre moment. For the weirdest thing of the night so far, there was a commercial featuring Sheree and Kenya in the multiverse.

I’m kind of excited about Marlo’s event. This is her first big moment as a peach holder. This could be a make-or-break moment for Marlo. I expect her to pull out all of the stops for this to impress the other women.

All of the women are confused about how Marlo’s company works. How does Marlo get the pieces she’s showing off? The event space looks expensive, but, weirdly, there’s just a bunch of mannequins lying around.

Drew doesn’t want any drama with Kenya, so it seems like they’re genuinely starting fresh. Everyone’s waiting around for Marlo to show up because she’s highly late. The event itself has no food, so everyone’s standing there confused and hungry.

Drew tells Kenya she knows they didn’t connect last season, but she wants a clean slate. Thankfully, Kenya’s willing to start over with her. She’s ready to make nice since their fight wasn’t that deep.

Marlo finally makes her grand entrance to her event, and it’s underwhelming. She’s renting out HER clothing. That’s sort of weird, but alright. This event is lackluster, to say the least. If I wanted to rent someone else’s clothing, I’d look on Poshmark. Period.

Kenya thinks this misses the mark when it comes to business and production. I can’t put into words the scrunchie on my wife’s wrist that Marlo’s wearing. This is making everyone reignite the question as to how Marlo’s making her money. How can she afford this because we’ve never seen her have a real job?

Marlo already feels disrespected by Kenya and starts dragging everything about her. She even says Kenya needs to get her house pressure washed. Marlo doesn’t waste any time and immediately confronts Kenya about her comments.

Kenya won’t talk to Marlo because she’s hurting. However, even though everyone commented on Marlo’s show, she’s only directed her energy at Kenya, Drew, and Kandi. It’s Marlo reading everyone at her party for no real reason for me. I LIVE.
