Meet The New Real Housewives Of Orange County Season 12 Cast Member Peggy Sulahian! Plus, See The New Trailer

Is it July 10th yet? The Real Housewives of Orange County is back for season 12 and they’re bringing the 100th Real Housewife, Peggy Sulahian, along for a ride on the crazy train!

Bravo just released a new sneak peek of the drama to come on season 12 and also a set of new cast photos.

Vicki Gunvalson and her family are back to showcase Vicki’s business expansion and her attempts to fix her broken relationships with the ladies. And also to show off her boyfriend, Steve Lodge.

Tamra Judge is still feuding with Vicki and attempting to fight off those gay rumors that surround her husband, Eddie Judge. Tamra reconnects with Lydia McLaughlin in a Bible study class and Lydia tries to play peacemaker between the ladies. Lydia also introduces us to newbie Peggy (see her bio below).

Shannon Beador tends to her marriage (please no more AFFAIR TALK this season!), works on her health and dotes on her new dog, Archie.

New mom Meghan King Edmonds also returns this season, struggling with those new mom woes: no sleep, surging hormones and dealing with Jimmy Dad Jeans.

Judging from the sneak peek, Kelly Dodd is smack in the middle of the drama once again. According to Bravo, her marriage “is still complicated, but when Tamra and Shannon befriend her, it makes everyone around her question what her motives are.” This ought to be good!

The show returns to us on Monday, July 10th and we cannot wait!

Newcomer Peggy Sulahian’s bio by Bravo: Born in Armenia, Peggy lives a life of luxury in the exclusive Crystal Cove community with her custom wheel mogul husband Diko, and their three children – daughters Giovanna, 19, Gianelle, 17 and son Koko, 9. After losing her mom to breast cancer at the age of 51, Peggy made the difficult decision to undergo a double mastectomy when doctors recently found a lump in her breast. As she prepares for reconstructive surgery, she wastes no time inserting herself into the drama, but often finds herself lost in translation amongst the women.

Did you even go on vacation if you don’t document the entire trip on social media? Apparently not – especially these days.With that said, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga has been posting a lot about her St. Barts trip on Instagram. I mean, why not? She looks bomb. She can (most likely) promote her store by wearing a new outfit in each post. And most importantly, her fans can keep up with her life in between seasons.

Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann Enjoy A Beach Vacation With Their Kids- Photos

I’m ninety nine percent sure that it’s too late for me to get adopted, but if this was a realistic possibility, I would love for Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann to take me in. I feel like they are always on these tropical vacations and that is a family tradition that I could really get behind.

I have no idea where Kim and Kroy are this time- which is probably a good thing given all of the recent stories about reality star security breaches these days- but they are on a beach (again) and I’m so jealous (again).

I know that Kim is a pretty polarizing character among the Bravo fandom, but even her biggest haters have to admit that they would love to be a Biermann– at least for (what I perceive to be) the constant vacations. I feel like they are always on a beach somewhere and I am so envious. Please adopt me. Or at the very least bring me on vacation as the token photographer to take the adorable family photos.

It really did look like Kim, Kroy, Ariana Biermann, and the four little ones had a lot of fun during their last trip. Check out the cuteness in their photos.

Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 Episode 9 Recap: Pool Party Like it’s 1999

I don’t know about you guys but I am still recovering from all the kangaroo caprese salad and Tasmanian devil poppers from the Oz Critic’s Choice Dinner last week on Real Housewives of Potomac. Aside from the food, Ashley Darby calling her dinner something straight out of an award show format was pretty lofty, especially considering the food critics weren’t really choosing anything, more like getting a free dinner in exchange for filling out a comment card. But despite my snide assessment of the details, it was a clever move on Ashley’s part to get her restaurant some exposure and convince her controlling Aussie husband that she’s not the only one who thinks the menu well, sucks.

As Ashley reads through the comment cards on the new menu, she is pleasantly surprised about how good the feedback was and it only reinforces her belief that Aussie food is not the way to go (duh). There is only one thing still standing stubbornly in her way – Michael. He shows up with his tail in between his legs, offering a tepid apology that becomes pointless when he blames his threat to shut down the restaurant on her not acting like a team player. Now Ashley was no saint during that argument, but I could see how she would flip her sh*t when idea after idea of hers has been shot down and she just wanted to do one thing on her own for the betterment of Oz without her old curmudgeon of a husband putting the kibosh on it. Michael’s apology doesn’t really land and while he says he wants to work through it, he’s still ignoring how discounted Ashley feels in their partnership.

So the Real Housewives of Potomac have their proverbial plates full of conflict and not just of the marital kind. Gizelle Bryant and Monique FIVE HOUSES Samuels have been feuding from the jump and it’s not a good look for the group. Says who? The Grande Dame herself, Karen Huger, that’s who. For whatever reason, probably boredom Karen needs to be the peacemaker for these two alley cats and decides a dinner would be the perfect way to broker a cease fire. Charrisse Jackson-Jordan comes along for the ride because she can never miss a chance to make it about her (more on that in a few).

After a little bit of small talk and Gizelle not even bothering to look in Monique’s direction, Karen finally pushes them to solve their problem. Monique claims she just wants Gizelle to get to know her, and then she can hate her. Sounds about right! Gizelle can’t even respond without choking on what she’s about to say, which Miss Mo thinks is God himself choking Gizelle for the lie she was about to tell. As if God doesn’t have better things to do than worry about this nonsense! While Gizelle tries to recover, Monique barrels ahead with all of her grievances. Ok, back to back….to back, they do look pretty bad for Gizelle. The pettiness is palpable! But Gizelle knows that Monique hasn’t been the little angel she is making herself out to be in all this – she did call Gizelle a trick. Or was it a stuck up trick? Either way, we now have to suffer through Mo’s definition of what a trick actually is. In my world, a trick is a hoe. But in Miss Mo’s world, where she doesn’t curse and tricks are for kids, it means childish. Come on now, Monique, you know that is not what you meant. She defends herself by saying she wanted to apologize for that but Gizelle refused to give her phone number out and therefore, disrespected her again. Gizelle remains calm, like always, and you can see how much that gets under Monique’s skin when she gets loud over a simple hand waive from Gizelle.  The ship is way off course and Karen and Charrisse try desperately to right it, but to no avail.

Finally, Charrisse tells them that it’s not really about them anymore, but about her and she needs her friends to get along so they can support her with all the hardship in her life right now. What on earth is she talking about? Looks like someone has been spending too much time closed up in their champagne room sniffing the fresh paint. Everyone say it with me: this is not about you, Cha Cha!

Onto more pressing issues for Monique: she has a first birthday party to plan and you know it has to be over the top to make up for her insecurities. As she busies herself working out to get bathing suit ready, she fills Big Drawers in on the details. Held at one of their FIVE HOUSES, specifically, the 26 acre lake house that’s two hours away, there will be a petting zoo, face painting, clowns and hired nannies to watch the kids. Big Drawers mentions a budget and Monique gives us some fuzzy math on how the $30K she is spending is really in line with the $20K budget he imposed. Either way, Monique is spending the equivalent of someone’s yearly salary on a first birthday party so let that sink in.

When Karen isn’t busy brokering peace between cast mates, she is getting all cash offers on her house from China. You heard right, someone from far far away, who doesn’t care about trivial things like updated kitchens, is going to pay all cash for Karen and the BBG’s crypt home of memories. While all cash is good, this means Karen and the BBG don’t have much time to get out and find a new home so they are facing a rental situation. Karen is surprisingly OK about that for someone who can’t even fathom an open house. And to raise even more eyebrows, she is actually considering housing options outside of Potomac. Say what?? Yes, Karen says it’s only 20 minutes away and her title knows no zip code. So not only is she downsizing her home but she is also moving out of the place she has christened herself the Grande Dame of. Does something in the outdated kitchen smell off to you? Yeah, me too. But Karen insists this is all a good thing and tells the BBG they are close to putting this all behind them so they can get back to partying like it’s 1999.

Speaking of 1999, Karen is at Charrisse’s house, lounging by the pool in a bathing suit, cover up and heels. She’s there to discuss planning a girl’s trip and wants Charrisse to help her. They settle on Bermuda and argue over who gets to plan the damn thing.

Robyn Dixon has finally decided it’s time for therapy after a conversation with her mother about the state of her marriage/not marriage. While she insists she doesn’t need therapy, she thinks maybe it would help her to talk. She sits down with the therapist and glazes over the details of her one and only real relationship ever and discovers that the common theme is her lack of trust in others because of Juan’s cheating. When the therapist asks if she wants love, specifically with someone else, Robyn skirts around the question but ultimately answers yes. It’s hard to tell if she really wants it or if she is just agreeing to it since she knows Juan is likely out there dating too. But her homework is to define trust, write down some examples of it in her life and then go on some dates. Yes, Robyn is being instructed to go on a date with someone who isn’t Juan.

It’s time for the first birthday party of the ages and Monique is zooming around her lake house on a hover board in some bathing suit straight out of the Fredrick’s of Hollywood collection. I know Monique is from Jersey so is that why she is always dressed like a RHONJ cast member circa season 2? Monique is stressed out for a multitude of reasons (none of which are important) – her caterer and valet are late and according to Miss Mo, things have to be perfect because you only get one first birthday party. Correction: Monique only gets one first birthday, because I’m pretty sure her daughter doesn’t give a flying fig about having a valet.

The rest of the ladies arrive and Ashley is in heels so high, she can barely make it across the grass. She’s also solo, saying Michael is at the beach house. Robyn shows up solo too, claiming Juan is busy with basketball camp which translates to his new girlfriend. We also get to meet Monique’s dad, who Ashley expertly points out is younger than both her husband and Karen. Ha! She busies herself talking to him and getting some serious marriage advice at the tiki bar.

The housewives (minus Gizelle because she wasn’t invited) assemble to talk about the Bermuda trip and Charrisse and Karen snap at each other over who is in charge again. Karen makes a comment about Charrisse being balanced for now and you can tell this isn’t going to go away any time soon. When they meet a few days later, Karen finally concedes to them both hosting a day, but refuses to say they are co-hosting the trip. For Charrisse’s part she refuses to admit she is assisting Karen because Cha Cha is no one’s assistant. Good lord, WHO CARES? They finish up with Karen asserting that they need to be an example for the rest of the women and if that’s the case, they are all screwed.

Michael is back from the beach house and trying to get on Ashley’s good side since their fight so he takes her to sculpt some clay and make phallic references. Ashley is still hanging onto their big blow up and doesn’t seem to be getting the reassurance she needs. She asks Michael if he thinks they are still in love with one another and he responds with a “yeah” and doesn’t even bother to ask her if she’s still in love with him. He moves on to asking about their baby plans and Ashley admits that’s not on her radar with all the problems they are having. Michael seems genuinely surprised by this and you can see how disconnected they really are. Ashley is looking forward to going away on the girls trip to Bermuda because she could use some space. You have to know your marriage is not on the right track when a few days of nonstop bickering with a bunch of women sounds better than spending time with your husband!

Rich & Kathy Wakile Visit Italy To Research For Their Upcoming Restaurant- Photos

Even though Kathy Wakile is no longer a Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member, she is still traveling and hustling like one. Just like the current cast members, Kathy and her husband Rich Wakile made a trip to Italy. It sure looked like a fun trip, but they also used it as an opportunity to research for their upcoming pizza restaurant.

Interestingly enough, Kathy’s estranged cousins (who are still thriving on RHONJ) Joe Gorga and Teresa Giudice just opened up an Italian restaurant in New Jersey along with Kathy’s cousin-in-law (a title I made up) Melissa Gorga. At this point, it is a rite of passage for reality TV stars to start their own restaurant, but very few of them survive. It will be interesting to see which family restaurant ends up being the most successful.

One one hand, Joe, Teresa, and Melissa have the powerhouse that is Real Housewives of New Jersey to help promote their restaurant. on the other, Kathy and Rich have gone to great lengths (literally) to research for their restaurant and it looks like they might be importing some ingredients from Italy- an assumption I have made based on some vague photo captions.

Personally, I feel like you can’t have too many Italian restaurants, but I have to admit that I thrive on the potential drama of one establishment succeeding more than the other. Whether you’re #TeamKathy or #TeamGorga, if you appreciate Italian culture, you will enjoy the photos from Kathy and Rich’s trip.

Kandi Burruss Almost Quit Real Housewives Of Atlanta Because Of Phaedra Parks’s Lies

The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion aired a while ago, but I am still reeling from THE LIES (said in a Kandi Burruss voice) that came undone. I’m sure Kandi feels somewhat vindicated after Phaedra Parks (reluctantly) admitted that she lied to Porsha Williams about Kandi’s attempt to drug and rape Porsha, but it was still a tough year. In fact, Kandi almost quit the show.

I have no idea what “almost quitting” means. I feel like pretty much every longtime housewife “speaks out” about “considering leaving” the show at some point. I don’t know if it’s a play for attention, an increased salary, or a genuine revelation, but it’s just all too common. Nevertheless, this Kandi situation is one of the most (if not the most) extreme story lines in Real Housewives history. So  I don’t blame her for wanting to walk out. It’s not like she needs the money.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Kandi admitted, “During season 9, I was feeling like I might want to leave because there was so much hate from fans online and I was having trouble because, how do you defend yourself from a lie?”

Kandi continued, “I’ve never had drama like that that lasted the whole season. It was very sh–ty.” After such a long time on the show, this was the first time that the whole season focused on Kandi. That had to be stressful. Plus, I feel like pretty much everyone with a soul is on #TeamKandi after those reunion episodes aired.

Kandi said, “But now I’m extremely happy that people were able to see the truth. Sometimes I thought people would never know the truth and it would have been a stain on me forever.” That accusation went beyond the typical gossip and drama that goes down on these shows. Phaedra and her sidekick Porsha definitely crossed the line with this one. So it’s really not at all surprising that the article mentions that Kandi hasn’t spoken to Frick or Frack since the reunion was filmed.

Real Housewives of Potomac’s Monique Samuels Disturbed By Ashley Darby’s Behavior Toward Michael; Plus, Join Our RHOP Virtual Viewing Party

The entire Real Housewives of Potomac cast was a little shocked over the Darby showdown on last week’s episode. Monique Samuels is the latest to share her two cents on the marriage and business trouble plaguing Ashley Darby and her husband Michael.

First, she weighs in on Karen Huger‘s photo shoot. Monique says she’s all for capturing these moments in time and even has had them done as a couple with her husband. “I love that Karen finds ways to keep her man smiling. That’s what it’s all about! Keep your marriage fresh and young will make it last forever.”

Monique shares in her blog that Ashley Darby and her husband Michael’s fight was hard to watch. “I cringed inside the entire time and couldn’t wait for the argument to end. It was very ugly. I’ve always had the mindset to respect my husband, while he, in return, loved me. The way Ashley spoke to Michael was so disturbing to me. There was a time when I was dating my now husband and he expressed to me the importance of respect and being mindful of the way I spoke to him, especially in public. As I watched Ashley and Michael, it made me think of the “young me” and what my husband and I would look and sound like had I not fixed my mouth and delivery during an argument.”

Monique thinks the problem is the blurred lines between business and marriage. “Ashley seems to be confusing “business” Michael with “husband” Michael. She’s mad that he treats her like a child in business and she wants respect but she forgets that respect is earned. Whether she likes it or not, Michael has been successful in business so she has some proving to do. I’m sure as the restaurant grows and becomes more successful, Michael will recognize that and feel more comfortable about the investment he made. She must also not allow the success or failure of the restaurant determine the outcome of their marriage. Marriage and business are two separate entities. You can put a dollar amount on a business, but not on love and marriage.”

Monique was a little appalled by Ashley’s negative comments, “I could tell there was some tension when Ashley and Michael were giving their welcome speech before we began eating. I couldn’t believe she joked about never going into business with your husband in front of everyone. Ouch!” Monique adds that if they can get a better routine going, it could work just fine.

Her advice to Ashley? “Create office hours. That was the best thing Chris and I did when we started working together over 10 years ago. They should establish times to speak about work and then everything else should be dedicated to the reasons they fell in love with each.” She continues, “There has to be a cut-off or the lines of business and pleasure will continue to be blurred. I would also suggest getting marriage counseling. You don’t have to wait for there to be an issue to seek wise counsel. Just remember that the marriage was in place before the restaurant. The success of the marriage should not be predicated on the restaurant. Michael made a financial investment into this restaurant because it was something Ashley wanted.”

On tonight’s RHOP: “Gizelle faces some harsh payback when she is shut out of Monique’s lake house summer bash. As Karen closes the deal on the sale of her Potomac home the reality of having to move sends her looking for a distraction. Ashley reveals a decision about her and Michael’s future after their big Oz blow out. Robyn finds herself in therapy after everyone questions her relationship with Juan. Karen’s scheme to “getaway” with a girls’ trip to Bermuda goes awry after she decides to kick her planning partner, Charrisse to the curb.” The action kicks off at 8/7 C.
