Lisa Vanderpump Admits Her Vinny Skirt Comment Was Wildly Inappropriate; Defends Her Sense Of Humor

In this week’s blog, Lisa Vanderpump ponders the questions of how to move forward with Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson after last season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She admits she may have been inappropriate with her humor and is a bit skeptical of her co-stars.

She starts off commending PK for the job well done on Dorit‘s birthday party. She says it was hard to navigate the event with Eileen and Rinna present. “I had already encountered Lisa and Eileen a week previously. We acknowledged each other briefly, but it was a fairly benign interaction and little conversation had taken place. What is one to do in these situations? What is the perfect remedy to moving ahead and having some sort of civility between you when previously it had been so ugly? I don’t have the answer, but I stand resolute in the fact that I can’t be hypocritical…”

Lisa admits that maybe her humor is a little too provocative but she still can’t believe that Eileen was fishing for yet another apology over something from so long ago. “I live my life coupled with humor, and as I watch this episode, I know that maybe sometimes I am too provocative in my running commentary as I maneuver my way through the party, but I was absolutely earnest in my offer of condolences to Eileen initially. Her mother had passed and regardless of the tension between us, I was sincere in my acknowledgement of her grief.” She continues, “When she remarked that she believed I was possibly going to apologize again, I was incredulous and exasperated by the fact she could possibly conjure up the notion of a possibility of me apologizing again, after the endless litany of apologies I proffered last year. In the world I live in, it is not necessary to keep repeating the same scenario over and over again, as if to tweak a performance until it measures up, so to speak.”

On her interaction with Lisa Rinna at the birthday party, “Rinna approached me in a vaguely conciliatory manner, informing me of something I was well aware of…”She was hard on me.” No…surely not, being called an evil, manipulative liar, too funny. Of course she wants to move on. I would too if I had challenged a friendship with no regard for the history between us.”

RELATED: LVP SAYS LISA RINNA ISN’T PLAYING WITH A FULL DECK

On that cheeky comment to Eileen about Vinny having his head up someone’s skirt, “Yes, I was wildly inappropriate in a jesting manner when I uttered the retort to Eileen regarding Vinny, most definitely a retort to see if we could actually go a whole season dwelling on something I had said…but I think she was wise to me. She knew I was looking for a reaction, and she wasn’t going to give me the satisfaction of rising to the bait. Goody, maybe there was hope for us after all. Maybe we could indulge in playful banter and relax a little.”

Lisa promises quite a roller coaster season, “The road to the finale is full of twists and turns, but we had an amazing experience traveling together and investing in each other’s lives. The dynamic changes with the integration of a new friend and actions are sometimes misconstrued. As of this moment in time, the moments that we witness now, is a rather different dynamic than where we stand today, so savor the nuances as we continue our journey.”

You have to admit that situations/wrongdoings/incidents do tend to linger far too long on RHOBH.  The Beverly Hills ladies seem to drag it on for several seasons, whereas on RHONY they move on and get over shit a LOT faster.

Don’t Be Tardy Season Finale Recap: Matters Of The Heart

Don't Be Tardy season finale

Don't Be Tardy season finale

OK, Don’t Be Tardy fans and haters, we made it through another season of Kim Zolciak Biermann’s life, just barely. Between health scares and the stress of just living la vida Kim, some episodes, we were hanging on by a thread. Or so Kim would have us believe. She still managed to deliver us her most expensive baby yet, her skincare line Kashmere, which I’m sure is selling like hot cakes in the link of her Instagram bio. As for long suffering husband Kroy Biermann, his football career still hangs in the balance (although if you follow any Kim news at all, you already know he was signed and then released from the Buffalo Bills).

Since the launch of Kashmere, Kim has been having some “weird” symptoms that she’s chalking up to the stress of self promoting a skincare line while simultaneously having a birthday party. I mean, can you guys imagine the stress? And you thought your life was hectic *snort*. Anyway, this brings Kim to an appointment with her cardiologist.

CLICK CONTINUE READING FOR MORE!

Unfortunately, there was an abnormality on Kim‘s recent EKG and it’s cause for concern. Kroy, ever the wordsmith, chalks it up to changes. What changes specifically? All kinds of changes – physically, spiritually, you know, all kinds.

Don't Be Tardy season finale recap

Speaking of changes, Brielle has a new man in her life named Michael. Michael is a minor league baseball player and a major league snooze fest, if you ask me. But Brielle is anxious to show him off to Tracey so they video chat him, with the most boring results ever. Judging Michael’s enthusiasm for the whole conversation, he either just woke up from a nap, or maybe a coma. The conversation doesn’t last long and they disconnect so Michael can go back into his coffin for the day.

As complicated as this new romance could get with Brielle moving to L.A. – wait, sorry, we are now find out that Brielle is not in fact moving to L.A. because her gig as an unpaid intern at Access Hollywood didn’t work out. Oh and she’s IN LOVE with her new man, which means she’s really not in a hurry to head across the country. And what’s not to love? These two clearly have so much chemistry! They both say “yeah” a lot and ummmm, what else? Help me out here, guys.

So Brielle’s staying put in Atlanta, where the Chick-fil-a flows freely and she doesn’t have to beg her parents for a $3,100 a month condo because she doesn’t want to sit on a toilet someone else has used before. At this point, I would like to direct Brielle to the Teresa Giudice section of our Real Housewives history book.

Don't Be Tardy season finale recap

Regardless of the fact that Kroy won’t be playing in Atlanta anymore and the family will be moving soon, Kim and Kroy need to finally enroll the boys in school. They bring KJ, who is five years old and “brilliant” (Kim’s words). So brilliant that he uses curse words just like a real adult. Kim decides that the school they visit isn’t the right fit – KJ is too smart to be put in the same classroom as kids over the age of six who don’t swear and probably wear their Batman baseball caps straight. KJ might not be enrolled in school, but he does have his own golf instructor so rather than waste any more time checking out kindergarten, he hits the golf course #priorities.

The family is still trying to figure out what the heck Brielle is going to do with her life and continue discussing her relationship at the dinner table. Brielle couldn’t care less and is listening to her man’s minor league game being streamed on her phone. Ariana decides to cut the crap and points out that Michael will never want to be with Brielle once he finds out how she really lives her life (as a slob).

Kim muses about how important it is that both Brielle and Ariana step up and help her around the house since she is so stressed. One look at Brielle’s room and I’m going to guess that’s as likely to happen as KJ going to school this year. Maybe Kroy should offer a thousand bucks to run a vacuum instead of attending a few hours at the funplex.

Don't Be Tardy season finale

Kim and Kroy head to the doctor, large coffees in hand, to find out what Kim needs to do about her abnormal EKG. The doctor can’t really tell Kim much without knowing some extra details about her family history and orders a treadmill stress test plus blood work. Some of Kim’s symptoms are deemed “normal” and some “not normal” and Kim leaves without any real answers. The only answers we get as viewers is that Kim continues to undergo testing in Atlanta and that Kroy was signed and released from the Buffalo Bills, which we already knew.

Here’s hoping Kim gets the treatment she needs and lays off the Kashmere so she can get back to a less stressful way of life (and dare I say and appearance on Real Housewives of Atlanta???).

Survivor Finale and Live Reunion Recap: Transformers

Survivor finale

Survivor finale

The ultimate generational battle between Millennials and Gen-Xers has finally come to an end, and there is a clear winner: Us. Yes, the audience came out on top this time, bearing witness to a great, unpredictable season of Survivor that just kept picking up steam and never stopped getting better. That held true all the way through tonight’s two-hour finale, as well as one of the better, tighter reunion shows in recent memory. It was a fitting end to one hell of a season.

Of course, tonight they crowned the Sole Survivor of Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen-X, the 32nd person ever to hold that title.  Thank you for being here and sticking through this truly great season…and you’ve come this far, so we might as well journey through one last recap before you catch your breath and ready yourself for Season 34 next March (and it looks promising…more on this later). Let’s do this!

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE, AND THIS IS YOUR LAST *SPOILER* WARNING!

Well I am rarely correct with my predictions, and have never, ever predicted a winner from the season’s beginning. And even though this season threw me for more than a few loops along the way, and even defied my expectations from episode to episode by going against traditional “norms” of editing, I called Adam as early as the Premiere Episode as being one to watch since he seemed to be getting the “winner’s edit” right out of the gate.

Adam is a worthy winner, an imperfect winner for sure, but a worthy one. His game was all over the place, but he navigated it beautifully and was able to surround himself with bigger fish throughout. He incorrectly played more than one Idol, but to even come in possession of so many was a testament to his game. It’s always great to see a super-fan living out his ultimate Survivor dream, but there has never been such an incredible emotional backstory that I can ever remember. It’s not uncommon for players to go out and play for their families, or their loved ones, but what an incredible story, to have not only come out to play Survivor after Adam’s mom received a devastating diagnosis, but to win the game.

As we learned at the Live Reunion Show that followed, the story becomes even more heart-breaking, to learn that Adam raced home after the show, only to have his mom pass away just one hour after he got there. Putting this in perspective, he even reminded us tonight that this is his real life…yes, it is a touching story for all of us to hear and go “aaaaawwww,” but this is the reality that he is living in every day. Imagine yourself in Adam’s shoes for one moment, and you’ll begin to see just how incredible his Survivor experience really is.

Before I go any further, I want to throw out the website where you can help donate to lung cancer research: Su2c.org/survivor. As Probst explained, a company (I forget which one) offered up to $100,000 in matching donations. Adam also announced that he would be donating $100,000 of his million dollar winnings to the cause as well.

Survivor winner Adam

Pivoting awkwardly back to the game, let’s talk about how Adam got to his million dollar prize! When the Finale began, Jay was more than a little bit upset that he played his Idol at the last Tribal Council, but that would not be the last Idol he would get to play. Well, technically, it was the last REAL Idol that he got to play, because he ended up playing a fake Idol in what was just an epic first Tribal Council of the night. But after having spent his REAL Idol, Jay’s days were numbered simply based on how big a threat he was to win this thing. Here was a likable guy that had dominated physical challenges down the stretch and who had played a great social game. As he should have been, Jay was everyone’s number one target should he lose Immunity…which is easier said than done. But when Jay got out to a huge early lead during the first Immunity Challenge, he failed to cover up his puzzle combination, which allowed all of the others to steal it and quickly catch up to him. It didn’t help his game that David was the one that ended up winning, as he was the other major threat left in the game.

But David had meticulously crafted a fake Idol, stealing beads and other items over the course of the entire game, and even went so far as to hide it in a painted coconut, along with the official instructions parchment that David had found with his Idol. Brilliant, if it worked! And boy did it work. Not only did Jay play this fake Idol at Tribal, but he got all cocky about it. Probst just loves moments like this, and when he proclaimed, “This is NOT a hidden Immunity Idol,” it was truly tragic to see Jay’s reaction, as it slowly sank in that he had been duped in a major way. On par with most everyone else this season, Jay gracefully, hilariously, left the game.

Survivor finale

Prior to this Tribal, Jay had done everything in his power to shift things his way, and it nearly worked. He started by stealing David‘s Reward Challenge with the advantage that was gifted to him by Adam…he then chose David and Adam to eat the steak dinner with him. This was a great move to get the major players at the same table, and Jay’s magic worked on David, who seemed more than willing to keep Jay around and target Bret instead. It was Jay’s yin-yang and soul-brother Adam who was immovable. Adam simply needed Jay to go. I’m not quite sure we’ve ever seen such a complex love-hate relationship on Survivor than the weirdness that exists between Jay and Adam.

Also at this first Tribal, the mysterious “Legacy Advantage” was used by Ken. It was revealed that the advantage was that Ken would get Immunity at that first Tribal Council, and it did negate the sole vote cast for Ken (by Jay). Ultimately though, this was a twist that didn’t work out all that well, and for all of the build-up and mystery surrounding it, it sort of landed with a thud. Oh well. For every good game twist that’s introduced, there are always a few Medallions of Power…but kudos to the show for always trying to come up with new and unique twists to introduce into the game. It’s to be expected that not every single one of them will be a winner.

So with Jay out of the game, the attention turned towards getting rid of David, but as Bret said, it’d be simply if only we weren’t dealing with crazy people. After having been Immune with the Legacy Advantage and with his physical competition out of the game with Jay, Ken ended up winning Immunity which meant that David was going home. Except he didn’t. Adam was gunning for David, and David for Adam, but miraculously, Adam found a hidden Idol…on Day 37. I, for one, felt this is a bit too late in the game to introduce new Idols into play, but Adam found it and played it, although it ended up not having much impact. Instead of voting out David, Hannah flipped on Adam much to his chagrin, and decided to send Bret out of the game instead.

S33_Ep14_SG_179

A word on Bret: He was another great character this season, who shared what Probst called “the moment of the season” when he revealed that he was gay to Zeke during a Reward Challenge. He simply was on the wrong side of things through much of the game, but he played tough and hard down to the end. Although it didn’t appear so at first glance, Bret actually had a lot of people rooting for him on jury, so had he been allowed to get to the end, he just might have had a case to win. But it was not to be. Bret’s exit left only four in the game: Hannah, Adam, David, and Ken.

How do you top off a great 39 days on the island? How about with one heck of a nail-biter Final Immunity Challenge. A game of concentration and patience ended in a tie between Hannah and Ken, and then literally at the buzzer, Ken was victorious. It was a thrilling finish. Heart-pounding. And all for naught if you’re Ken. Even though he was Immune for the final three Tribal Councils, he found himself in the awful position of either choosing to take David with him to Final Three, where he would lose for sure, or to vote David out and take his chances with Adam. Poor Ken decided to backstab his closest ally, David, whom he had aligned with back on Day Three. For a guy who talked constantly about loyalty and honesty and integrity, this move against David seemed awfully hypocritical.

Hannah, Adam, and Ken then faced the jury, and it was a breath of fresh air to see a mostly un-bitter jury…which I had called the rarest of Survivor rarities. The greatest development of all was that Hannah came into Final Tribal ready to win. Man did I like her at Final Tribal! She came in guns-a-blazing, and knowing that this jury would respect game-play, she forcefully tried to convince them that she had strategically mapped out all of her big moves, and that Adam was mainly along for the ride. At one point, I even had sort of felt a wave of momentum swing her way, and thought my goodness, Hannah could actually win! I had theorized that she could had she sat next to Bret and Ken and argued the same exact way, but we’ll never know how that might have went. But it was a great, great Final Tribal performance for Hannah.

Ken, poor Ken, realized early on that he had no chance, and even though we the viewers knew this, it was still sad to watch. Ken, as was pointed out, is a great guy and played an amazing old-school game that centered on integrity and loyalty. Had he played 10 years ago, he might have been a great winner. But there is no room for such nobility in today’s Survivor game, for better or worse. Still, it was tough to watch the jury pile on Ken, or dismiss him altogether.

Survivor finale Hannah

When the Final Tribal ended, I thought that Hannah had made a good case for herself, but I still felt like Adam held the edge. I didn’t see a unanimous winning vote coming Adam’s way, but that’s exactly what happened. Yes, Adam Klein, the 25-year old Homeless Shelter Manager from San Francisco, a Millennial, is your Sole Survivor and winner of Season 33. He is also the youngest winner ever, and the fifth to ever win by unanimous vote.

Episode Take-Away: While watching this Finale, I just was in awe over how good this season was and how the Finale lived up to what had preceded it. Just a remarkable finish. From the fake idol, to the aggressive game-play, the twists and drama just never stopped coming. And while I felt myself rooting for David tonight, Adam being the winner definitely does this season justice and doesn’t feel like a deflation, like last season did after Michele Fitzgerald won. It was maybe the most likable cast ever assembled, and I just hope that this so-called “evolution” of the game stays true…because I love watching a group of players who are not afraid to play the game, make big moves and when they get beat, have the respect for the game to still cast an objective vote for winner.

Ken getting no winning votes was expected, but I really thought Hannah may have nabbed one or two. Hannah’s pitch at Final Tribal ultimately came across as too little too late, as perception is everything on Survivor, and the perception was that she was a “flipper” and was often unsure about her own game-play.

I usually love returning player seasons (and I know some hate them), but on the heels of this all-new, amazing cast, I’m almost disappointed that next season, Season 34, will feature all returning players, because I feel like I’ll know what to expect from them. And that, I don’t like. But let me remind you of Cambodia and Heroes vs. Villains…often times the returning player seasons are among the best ever, so I’m more excited now than ever for next season to roll around.

Survivor reunion

Live Reunion Show: Of course, the major take-away from the Live Reunion Show was the preview of Season 34, which is officially called “Survivor: Game Changers.” It will feature all-returning players, eight of which were officially revealed tonight:

  • Newly-inducted Survivor Hall of Famer, Tony Vlachos, winner of Survivor: Cagayan
  • Tai Trang, Survivor: Kaoh Rong
  • Caleb “Beast Mode Cowboy” Reynolds, who was medically-evacuated from Survivor: Kaoh Rong
  • Fan-favorite Ozzy Lusth, who will now be playing for a fourth time
  • Cirie Fields, now playing for her third time
  • The only two-time winner in Survivor history, Sandra Diaz-Twine
  • Ciera Eastin, who appeared on the “Second Chance” season and who is now apparently getting a third chance
  • Millennial vs. Gen-X’s own Michaela Bradshaw

In addition to hearing more about Adam‘s mother and her tragic battle with lung cancer, the Live Reunion Show focused primarily on the transformations that many of the players had out there on the island this season. David, Zeke, Bret and Hannah all shared how the show has changed them, for the better. Probst briefly checked in with Michaela, Will, Sunday, Jessica and Chris, but sadly Paul, CeCe, Lucy, Rachel and Mari were not heard from at all. Oh, and you might be interested to know that the famed showmance known as #FigTails is no more…with the minor issue of Taylor having had a pregnant girlfriend back home apparently being the sticking point. Whoops, I hate when that happens.

Andy Cohen Gives Kim Zolciak Hell For Denying Plastic Surgery; Kim And Kroy Address KJ’s Cursing

kim-zolciak

kim-zolciak

After the season finale of Don’t Be Tardy tonight, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann were in NYC to hang out with Andy Cohen in the Clubhouse on WWHL. They discussed viewer concerns over their kids’ swearing, Kim’s possible nose job, and more! Kim even answered a few questions about her former Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars.

Andy plays a montage of the Biermann kids and their potty mouths.  Andy asks where they got those mouths and Kim laughs, “I have no idea.” (More on this later in the show)

Andy then shares that back in 2009 when Kim was on the show, she had a gig at a gay bar right after WWHL and Andy went along to introduce Kim. They recently noticed on the ad for the event that Erika Jayne actually opened for Kim way back then before they ever knew her!

Kim shares an update on her heart, “I have irregular heartbeats which isn’t uncommon when you have a device put in your heart, but it happened like six months after I had it put in. I’m good. I’ve been running every night, trying to kind of get my heart in better shape.”

Andy asks if it’s possible that Kim‘s lips have gotten bigger since he last saw her. “No, I haven’t had them done in a while.”  Andy doesn’t believe her and says “Sweetie, you need to stop, okay?” She swears no. Andy doesn’t let up and says he feels like both she and Brielle (who is the ‘bartender’ for the night) have gotten their lips made bigger since the last time he saw them. Kroy says it’s makeup.

Andy plays a game with her, asking questions about her former Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars.

  • Was she surprised that Cynthia and Peter split? “No.” Does she think Cynthia should get back with Leon? “I don’t know about that.”
  • Does she think Phaedra knew that Apollo was up to no good while they were together? “How could you not? Yes!”
  • Kenya said last year at the reunion that she ‘lives for Kim’ but does Kim like Kenya? She says no and that she’ll share the details with Andy later.
  • Is she friends with NeNe still and what does she think of NeNe’s new nose? “Our friendship is fine, we don’t talk all the time but we text or whatever. Brielle just saw her last week out to dinner. Her new nose…I’ve seen some pictures of her. She looks good.”
  • Has she been to Chateau Sheree and was it worth the wait? “Yes, it’s beautiful.”
  • Has she paid Kandi any of the Don’t Be Tardy residuals? “You know that was thrown out of court because she was OVERPAID? The judge threw it out.” Andy gives shady side eye and Kim says “It’s documented, you can pull it up.”

The first caller of the night asks Kim if she thinks her cursing in front of the kids will have a negative impact on them later in school? “No. KJ is in school, he’s in kindergarten and he knows, he’s always known, when he’s able to cuss and when he’s not. So, no, it’s not an issue at all. In fact he’s one of the best behaved and his teacher says he sets a perfect example every day, so…”  Andy shares with her that they received those questions the most tonight, about the kids and cursing.

Andy asks Kroy his opinion on it since he’s more of a “straight arrow.”  Kroy shares that it’s proven and there are studies that have shown that a person who curses is more honest and can handle stress better.” Kim says “Google it!”

After a commercial break Andy says that Kim shared with him that KJ was given an award at school for being “most Christ like.”

A caller asks Kroy about his free agent status. “I am currently still a free agent. I have not retired. Right now I’m just kind of waiting to see what pops up.”  Andy asks what Kroy’s agent has to say about his exposure on the show. Does it make Kroy more marketable or less marketable? Kroy says it doesn’t have any affect on it. Andy thinks it’d be a big draw to get fans in the stands.

The next caller asks Kim to please, please, please admit what work she’s had done to her face. Kim is irked. “Oh my God.” Andy butts in and says “You won’t admit your nose job, which we KNOW you’ve had.” Kim is irritated and says “Can I show you something? If I’ve had a nose job, don’t you think my septum would be in place? (she tilts her head back) Because it’s not! I mean, seriously, my nose is not straight. My nostrils would be straight as well.” Kroy got a little offended and Andy says “Kroy, I’ve known her longer than you have!” Kroy tried to deny that that was true. Andy says “Hello, I’ve known her since season 1! You met her in like season 3…”  Andy is pleading with Kroy to admit that Kim had a totally different looking nose.  Kroy blames it on four pregnancies and Kim agrees and then says that’s what happened to her lips, too.  Andy is NOT having it. “No, NO!”  Kim tells Andy to Google it.

A viewer asks Kroy what his first impression of Kim was when they met and has it stayed the same throughout the years? “My first impression was that she was a very vibrant person, a no-bullshit straight shooter. Someone who was in control and had a good life ahead of her and that’s true.”  Andy says “the one thing I love about Kim is she has not changed since I met her.”  Kim says that Andy hasn’t changed either and then snipes at him about how he STILL doesn’t invite her to parties, and says that even in his book he admits that he didn’t invite her to an after party he was having after a night when she was on WWHL.  “August 15th, 2015!,” Kim recalls. “Read Superficial and you will see!”

Another fan asks why Kim thinks Kroy would be a good fit to co-host with Kelly Ripa on Live.  “Kroy is very well spoken, he’s super funny. He’s hot. He’s very educated. He’s very well rounded. I think being a dad, being a football player, being on TV, you know?”

Someone asks if Brielle is going to be allowed to move to Chicago since her boyfriend Michael was traded there. Kim says “Brielle is not moving anywhere until she has a ring on her finger.” Brielle chimes in to say she agrees with her mom but that she’s 19, almost 20, and if she does want to leave, she can. Kim reiterates that she doesn’t think it’s good to move in with her boyfriend until she has a ring. Andy asks Brielle if she has a job at this point. Kim quietly says “she’s my assistant!” and Brielle says “yes, I have many.”

Andy then pulls up a split screen – on one side is Kim and her nose from season 1 and her current nose on the other side. Andy says “So you don’t think that nose is a LITTLE different, Kim?” She exclaims “NO!” Andy makes her turn her head into the same pose as the photo from season 1 and he’s just floored that she continues to deny. It’s completely different. Andy says he could look at this all day.  Kim comments that everything has kind of changed and Andy quips, “yes, it sure has.”  Kim says again that if she’s going to have a nose job, it’d be a hell of a lot shorter.  She says she’s been honest about everything else she had done – her tummy tuck, her boobs, etc, so why would she not be honest if she really had a nose job?

Andy shares that Kim is going to be the last Real Housewife to be on WWHL in the old clubhouse and says they had some great memories.

NeNe Leakes Celebrates Her 50th Birthday At A Surprise Party Thrown By Gregg Leakes

NeNe-Leakes-Surprise-Party-Gregg-Leakes

NeNe-Leakes-Surprise-Party-Gregg-Leakes

I know they had their ups and downs in the past, but for the past few years NeNe Leakes and Gregg Leakes are really the epitome of #RelationshipGoals. I hate employing such an overused hash tag, but it really is true. They truly seem to love and support each other whenever possible. Gregg stepped his game up by throwing a surprise birthday party for his wife.

Gregg even got NeNe’s (on again) bestie Cynthia Bailey to help him out by distracting NeNe so she would be surprised. Props to Gregg for pulling one over on NeNe. I’m not trying to throw shade, but it is very clear that NeNe runs things in this relationship, so surprising her is no small feat.

NeNe’s girl Cynthia posted a pic of what looks like NeNe’s entrance at the party and she genuinely seems surprised. Along with the pic, Cynthia wrote, “Thanks Gregg for giving me the impossible task of trying to keep your wife @neneleakes busy today (without spilling the beans) while you planned her 50th Birthday Celebration.” It’s nice to see that Cynthia and NeNe are not just on good terms, but that they are really close again. I always loved their friendship and their feud was just way too much for me to watch on Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Even though the party worked out perfectly, Cynthia did admit that she did a have a little trouble getting the birthday girl to her own party. Cynthia wrote, “Although we almost ended up at our favorite sushi spot (that’s another story) instead of the party, somehow I managed to get her butt there.” Thankfully Cynthia was able to to persuade NeNe to show up at her own party. That would have been mad awkward.

NeNe didn’t have too much to say about the party on social media, but she did share a video of Keke Wyatt performing at the event. All NeNe wrote with the pic was, “They got me #surprised at work  @Keke_wyatt sanggggg.”

I’m not sure about the whole guest list for the event, but NeNe’s frienemy Kenya Moore was present as well, but then again I did see the two of them hanging in a recent Instagram photo on both of their pages, so I’m not super shocked. Kenya and Cynthia, newly dubbed as Kenynthia, posted the same selfie on their Instagram pages. With her post, Cynthia wrote, “Happy Wednesday@thekenyamoore #nenesbirthdayparty #kenynthia.”

No worries though, Kenya also posted a sweet pic of the three of them that did include birthday wishes for NeNe with such a Kenya caption: “Happy Birthday#richbitch I like that @rollsroycecars your hubby got u #boss#StillHereStillFabulous #rhoa #queens.”

I’m just so curious about whether or not any other RHOA cast members or alums attended the event. Of course, I checked everyone’s Instagrams, but as of now I don’t have any more info to dispense. Nevertheless, it seems like NeNe’s 50th year is off to a fun start.

Montauk Residents Are Against The Show Summer House & It Hasn’t Even Aired Yet

Stassi-Schroeder-Summer-House-Twins

Stassi-Schroeder-Summer-House-Twins

The fact that Montauk residents are against Summer House is not at all surprising. I know the Bravo reality TV show has not even aired yet, but there were reports that people were annoyed when it was filming, so it was inevitable that they were going to be upset when the previews started to surface.

Obviously, there is going to be even more protest once Summer House episodes start airing on Bravo. The same thing happened with Jersey Shore and pretty much any reality show with a location that’s integral to its story lines and marketing. The irony is that all of the protests against these reality shows bring them even more attention and possibly increase viewers.

CLICK “CONTINUE READING” FOR MORE!

In a not-so-subtle move to generate buzz, two twins from Summer House had lunch with Stassi Schroeder during the last episode of Vanderpump Rules. Obviously, they’re trying to go for some sort of crossover effect and bring the Vanderpump Rules viewers into the Summer House fandom before the show even begins. It wasn’t organic to see the twins at SUR and it felt too contrived, and that is saying a lot coming from reality TV addict like myself.

I’m going to give this show a chance because I give every Bravo shot a chance, but for people who have a mind of their own, I doubt they were impressed by the little taste we got from the Vanderpump Rules guest appearance. The people of Montauk are also unimpressed with the show and there has been a lot of protest against it, of course. According to Page Six, Montauk’s Chamber of Commerce does not approve of the show and claimed it was not even really filmed there.

The Chamber of Commerce president Paul Monte said, “Bravo falsely puts out that Summer House was filmed in a Montauk house.”

That’s not a huge deal. I mean, most of the Real Housewives shows aren’t even filmed in the city that the title claims. Many of them live a little outside of the city and just claim it as their own. Maybe I’m the only one who isn’t offended by the misleading location of the series? I really don’t care about that as viewer. I get the point. Montauk doesn’t want tourism from the show to de-class the place and make it less exclusive than it’s supposed to seem be. I just come from the “all publicity is good publicity” way of thinking when it comes to reality TV-driven tourism and increased profits for local businesses.

RELATED: Montauk Residents Complain About ‘Summer House’ Filming

Still, the president added, “In fact, the house was located in Amagansett. Furthermore, the producers were denied a permit to film on public lands anywhere in East Hampton Town, and that includes the hamlet of Montauk.”

This man emphasized the same point that we have heard throughout the years with other reality shows when he added, “We are very concerned that this show promotes a false picture of Montauk as a raucous party town, when in fact, the complete opposite is true.”

Even if Montauk is not a “party town,” the people on the show like to party and the show is about those people, not the town as a whole or its residents.

It never made sense to me when people just criticized an entire community for the actions of a few people on reality TV. Maybe I only feel this way since I am from New Jersey and had to respond to a lot of Jersey Shore criticism back in the day. My point is, anyone with a half a brain would realize that this show is about the individuals on it and it would be dumb to characterize the entire town for the actions of a friend group on summer vacation. People need to chill out, look at the glass half full, and enjoy the increase in revenue from tourism. Every “classy” location has ratchet people in the midst. Just accept it and move on.

TELL US – ARE PEOPLE JUSTIFIED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT SUMMER HOUSE CAPITALIZING ON MONTAUK? OR ARE THEY OVERREACTING?

Eileen Davidson Is Over Addressing Lisa Vanderpump’s Beef With Her

LVP makes a bad joke to Eileen

LVP makes a bad joke to Eileen

If I was Eileen Davidson, I would really be going in on Lisa Vanderpump following that last episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Not only did LVP continue to mess with Eileen, but she also made an extremely inappropriate and out of nowhere comment about Eileen’s husband Vince Van Patten. Plus, LVP made up with Lisa Rinna and not Eileen, which didn’t make much sense to me.

Nevertheless, Eileen is so over her beef with Lisa. Or at the very least, she is not mentioning it much these days; Eileen is more than happy to talk about all things RHOBH except for LVP. She conveniently leaves any mention of Lisa or her various nick names out of the conversation. Yet, the tension between them is beyond obvious, so she’s going to have to publicly address it eventually.

CLICK “CONTINUE READING” FOR MORE!

Although I’m personally over Eileen and LVP passive aggressively digging at each other for over a season, I do think it’s kind of strange that Eileen doesn’t even want to address it now. In her most recent blog entry (and the one before that), Eileen doesn’t even address Lisa by name. She just alludes to being over talking about this shit – a sentiment that I can relate to!!

I don’t blame Eileen because I would be scared to mess with Lisa, but she already has, so she might as well keep going with it unlike everyone else who backed down from LVP – well, except for Brandi Glanville, but that didn’t go so well for her. RIP to Brandi’s steady paychecks from Bravo.

RELATED: Eileen Davidson Wants To Put Last Year’s Drama Behind Her

Even though Lisa Vanderpump was extremely rude to Eileen the entire episode, and even had the audacity to say that Eileen’s husband Vince was busy “up other women’s skirts” at the party, Eileen weirdly doesn’t mention that at all. Meanwhile, Lisa is pulling this shit about how she stands her ground and sticks up for herself in the face of adversity when she was such a shit stirrer last year. On an other note, it’s so weird how I absolutely worship LVP for being a great boss and role model on Vanderpump Rules, yet I can’t deal with her passive aggressive tactics and Ariana Grande up-do on this season of RHOBH. It’s a real Jekyll and Hyde situation there.

The only thing that Eileen mentioned about Lisa didn’t even directly call her out, but I do actually agree with her sentiment, “It became evident that some of us are still looping a broken record, trying to rewrite history, and others are trying to move to the next track. I know, I am, for one, the latter. Everything else about the subject has already been said. Moving on…”

RELATED: Lisa Rinna Dishes On Drama Between LVP and Kyle Richards

That’s all I want too. I just want to move on. I hated Season 6 of RHOBH, and I want it to remain in the past.

This season, I want Eileen to call Lisa out for the NEW offensive shit that she ends up saying since that is inevitable. Let’s leave the past in the past.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK EILEEN IS REALLY OVER HER BEEF WITH LVP?
