Real Housewives of New York Season 15, Episode 6 Recap: A Shot of Mess-cal

Last week, the Real Housewives of New York cast celebrated Jessel’s birthday. In Real Housewives of New York Season 15, Episode 6, they’re celebrating Erin’s successful Mezcal business. In tonight’s episode, Erin and Abe threw a party to celebrate their business “Mezcalum” and the cast showed up ready to sip on some delicious drinks.

If you missed the fun, don’t worry, we have you covered.

Here is everything you missed on RHONY Season 15, Episode 5, “A Shot of Mess-cal.”

What happened in Real Housewives of New York Season 15, Episode 6?

Real Housewives of New York Season 15, Episode 6 mostly centered around Erin and Abe’s party but some other stuff happened too. Jessel and Pavit decided to go to couples’ therapy, Brynn got to work on her app, and Racquel continued to plan her engagement party. I’ll be so real with you, it was a boring episode for the most part.

Keep reading for a more detailed recap of tonight’s episode:

Erin plans her party and Jessel plans her future

The November 5 episode began with Erin and Abe preparing for their Mezcalum party. The couple launched the brand last year, joining the ranks of other Real Housewives with liquor brands. Erin explained that she and Abe fell in love with the spirit a decade ago during a trip to Tulum, Mexico. She says she wanted to “bring Mezcal to the States.” Uhhhhh. I mean, should you tell her or should I?

While Erin and Abe were party planning, Jessel was getting her nails done with her mom, Nilam. I was so excited to see Jessel’s mom! She’s an icon and I’ve missed her presence on the show.

Jessel spoke to her mom about how she and Pavit are not on the same page about welcoming another baby. Jessel wants to have a daughter but Pavit is not on board. I worry it’s a lost cause. Pavit’s been pretty defiant about not wanting another kid. Maybe he’s worried it will interfere with his food influencer lifestyle. Jessel is not ready to give up hope. She tells her mom she wants to go to couples therapy with Pavit to “improve their communication.” Translation: she wants a third party there, so he can’t dodge the baby conversation.

Racquel opens up about her divorce

Jessel isn’t the only RHONY cast member embarking on a new chapter. Newbie Racquel is about to go public with her engagement to her partner Mel. She spoke about her hesitation during a lunch with Ubah and Sai. She explained that she and her ex-husband kept their breakup on the down low for a while, so when she began dating Mel later down the line, people suspected she had an affair. Then, Racquel said the criticism was hard on her and Mel, especially since none of it was true.

Over in Grammercy Park, Brynn is hard at work on her app, which she says is about “relationships, dating, and flirting.” I think this is a great move for her. If I wanted flirting advice I would definitely go to Brynn. That girl knows her stuff.

In a confessional, she says she is the “co-founder” and “chief marketing officer” for the app. Good for her. Hopefully, those “Brynn doesn’t work” allegations will finally be put to rest now.

Jessel and Pavit address the baby question…

Later on, Jessel and Pavit grab dinner to discuss their communication issues. Jessel wants to talk about baby number three but her husband wants to talk about the quality of the chicken. He’s more interested in his food influencer career. Yeah, they definitely need a partial third party to step in here.

She finally gets him to address the topic and it doesn’t go as she hoped. Pavit is not bending on the baby conversation. Jessel refuses to accept that she won’t have a daughter, so she suggests they go to therapy to discuss their issues with a licensed professional. He eventually agrees but only if he can make the arrangements.

Racquel and Mel also have a tough conversation over a meal. The two grab lunch together after checking out some art and a touchy subject arises. Racquel has been open about her difficult relationship with her mother, who was not very supportive of her coming out. She shares that her mother stopped visiting when she got divorced. She’s upset that her mother cannot accept her reality and her relationship with Mel.

The two talk about the real possibility that her mother will not come to their engagement party. In a confessional, Racquel gets emotional over the topic, sharing that she feels as though she’s lost “some of her [mother’s] love” since coming out. Now this is when these shows shine. When they get super real. Racquel is a fabulous addition; this was so sad, but props to her for sharing.

The RHONY ladies gather at Erin’s party

The last chunk of the episode takes place at Erin and Abe’s party. The women show up in style to celebrate their friend’s success. Erin, per usual, can’t help but engage in a little gossip (love that about her). She tells Ubah and Sai that Brynn was talking a lot of sh*t about them while they were out shopping for Jessel’s Clueless party.

Honestly, she could’ve said more. Brynn called Sai “a miserable troll that lives under the Brooklyn Bridge.” Erin saying she was “talking sh*t” was putting it lightly. Sai doesn’t understand why Brynn is still upset and I agree! I’m so confused why Brynn is so upset with Sai. She’s apologized like 10 times. What more can she do?

Brynn gives the girls the cold shoulder

Brynn arrives at the party and completely ignores the women. Awkward. She bides her time by flirting with Erin’s rich dad, which makes Erin nervous. She’s not looking for a new stepmom. In a confessional, Sai throws shade at Brynn for her flirtatious behavior.

“I don’t know why Brynn’s being weird,” she told producers. “She walks by our table, schmoozing with Erin’s daddy and then she gets upset that there are all these sugar daddy stories. If it walks like a duck…”

Ouch. Yeah, something tells me Brynn is not going to be happy about that.

Brynn finally decides to address her issues and takes a seat at the table. Reader, you may expect that a huge fight erupts but this is not the case. Ubah tries to create conflict with Brynn but it doesn’t go anywhere. Ubah then (out of nowhere) throws a jab at Jessel for being a “basic b*tch.” The whole scene is confusing and I’m unclear about who has beef with who.

I gotta be honest, this season is turning out to be kind of a mess. I want to love it but all the drama seems forced. I’m starting to miss Bethenny Frankel … I hope these ladies pull it together soon and this season takes a turn for the better.

The Real Housewives of New York is available to stream on Peacock.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5, Episode 5 Recap: Nice Guys Finish Last

We’re back with the recap for Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5, Episode 5. Last week, Chef Cloyce was late serving lunch, and the captain wasn’t happy about it. Daisy hired a mermaid and a DJ to celebrate the primary guest’s 60th birthday, while Cloyce’s birthday cake was a disaster. And Danni and Diana bickered over who does cabins and who gets to do service. Here’s exactly what went down in BDSY Season 5, Episode 5: “Bean Counter.”

What happened in Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5, Episode 5?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5, Episode 5

In this week’s episode, Gary gets more frustrated with Emma in direct proportion to her own anxiety about her job performance. Danni thinks Keith should lighten up and be more flirty with her, but he’s just trying to remain professional in front of the guests. Danni’s ability to banter with the guests and make “the perfect three-bean espresso martini” annoys Diana. And despite Keith’s interest in Danni, she ends the evening swimming in the bay and making out with Gary. Here are some of the highlights from BDSY Season 5, Episode 5.

More cooking, less swimming this charter

Charter number three is a “quick overnight charter,” according to Captain Glenn. Tiffany and Daniel from Dallas are the primaries. Tiffany was on The Real Housewives of Dallas. I never watched that one, but I’ve heard she’s a great woman.

Daisy gives Cloyce a pep talk and assures him that “we are in this together.” Hopefully, he’ll get his act together this charter and “bring up the bar.”

No swimming this charter,” Glenn reminds him. It doesn’t seem like there will be much of an opportunity if it’s just an overnight – but let’s see how it goes…

Gary questions Emma’s lack of deck skills

Gary’s getting more frustrated with Emma. “I’m slowly starting to realize that her work ethic is not all there,” he says. “There’s no motivation or drive.”

The guests are only on the boat for one night, so as soon as they leave the harbor, it’s time for a sail. When Glenn wants to tack in the other direction, Emma is too slow pulling up the “lazy sheet,” and they lose the wind, coming to a standstill.

“Timing is very important because you can lose the wind,” Glenn explains. “If the timing is wrong, it’ll mess everything up.”

Finally, Glenn radios Emma to find out what she’s doing. “I can’t bring any more out at all,” she responds. “Nothing more is coming out.”

“This is f*cking ridiculous,” Gary complains, going to check on his deckhand. He tells her to throw her body weight into pulling the line out, and it begins to move.

“F*cking hell,” he mutters, walking away.

“Parsifal’s the biggest boat I’ve worked on,” Emma says. “Gary comes down on his f*cking white horse with his cape flying in the wind. And, of course, maybe I’m doing it wrong, and I’m just a poor little weak girl, and I can’t do it … I’m just f*cking inept.”

Later, Gary goes to the captain and asks to chat. “It’s come to my attention that Emma’s a lot greener than we originally thought,” he says. “There’s a lack of urgency, lack of drive.”

Glenn thinks she just needs to understand “what’s going on with the sails” and tells Gary to keep working with her and see if she improves.

The missing espresso bean signifies bad luck

It’s Japanese night on the Parsifal III, so the guests of course want Japanese food.

“I am not an experienced Japanese chef,” Cloyce says in a confessional. “But sophomore year of high school, when we studied world cuisine, honed my craft in the Asian cuisine department. But that was a while ago. So, this is either going to be incredibly chill, or this will be the worst thing I have ever done.”

One of the guests requests an espresso martini, but when Diana delivers it, he says, “Excuse me, this is bad luck. It’s missing one bean.”

There are only two coffee beans floating in his drink. “I love health and wealth, but I need the happiness.” I did not know that, and neither did Diana.

But rather than apologizing and bringing him one more bean, she snaps, “I’m giving you decaf from now on.” Huh? That’s NOT how to treat a guest.

“Yeah, she hates you, bro,” one of his friends laughs.

“Diana, even if they’re an assh*le,” Daisy tells her, “Try not to let it get to you.”

Diana insists she was only joking and she doesn’t care, Daisy reminds her that “they care.”

When Danni makes him a second one with three beans in it, he says, “That’s what I’m talking about! Three-bean classic. Cheers to health, wealth, and happiness.” He gives Danni a hug and says she’s the best. Diana looks less than pleased.

“It’s annoying to my ego,” Diana interviews. “Go f*ck yourself.”

Emma’s anxiety gets the best of her

Emma’s got the anchor watch. Sadly, rather than finishing her work and monitoring the anchor, Emma falls asleep in the cockpit. When she wakes up, she has to scramble to finish all the cleaning she was supposed to be doing overnight.

“I definitely noticed a lapse in where I thought the boat would be in the morning,” Keith says. “At this point, the boat should be 100% dry.” He tells Gary that the deck was soaked when he got up.

“So what happened with rinsing the boat last night?” Gary asks Emma.

“I rinsed the boat last night,” she says. She doesn’t tell him she fell asleep and didn’t rinse it until 6:00 am.

At dinner, Emma and Daisy take a smoke break away from the rest of the crew. Emma tells Daisy that she feels like she’s screwing up and having anxiety about not doing a good job.

Daisy advises her not to take Gary’s criticism to heart. “The more you let it eat at you,” Daisy tells her, “the more you’re going to ruin your own experience.” Daisy’s had her own issues with Gary.

Emma’s anxiety is making her feel sick and shaky. She goes outside to get some air, and Daisy tells her she needs to drink some water “even though it tastes gross.”

“Emma’s definitely struggling,” Daisy says. She’s really hard on herself and in her own head. Emma decides to go back to the boat and get some rest. Daisy explains to the rest of the crew that she thinks Emma has heat exhaustion.

Danni finally gets the attention she’s been looking for

Keith thinks Danni’s being “cold” to him tonight, so he says, “Let’s get a drink and go chat.”

Danni feels like Keith decides when they can have fun. “I’m constantly flirting,” she says, but he refused to banter when they were on the cliff together. But he explains that he was trying to be professional in front of the guests. He’s not wrong.

“We’re here to do a job,” he says.

But when they go to the dance club, Danni switches her attention to Gary, which annoys Keith. Daisy consoles him in the cab on the way back to the boat. “Don’t ever be apologetic for being sensitive,” she tells him.

“Keith is such a nice person,” Daisy interviews. “He’s good-looking; he’s hardworking; he’s funny; he’s charming. I think he’ll be a great partner. That’s really unfair, but nice guys finish last.”

Back at the boat, Gary and Danni are in the hot tub together. She’s loving that he’s finally giving her the attention she craves. But will Gary and Danni’s hookup just cause more drama between her and Daisy?

They end the evening by jumping off the boat into the water and making out. “Whoops,” she says.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Ryan Reynolds Sent DWTS’ Danny Amendola and Witney Carson a Video After Deadpool Dance

On October 22, Danny Amendola and Witney Carson performed a Deadpool & Wolverine-inspired jazz routine on Dancing with the Stars.

The dance was part of Disney Night on the show. Following their performance, Danny and Witney said they would “freak out” if they heard from either Ryan Reynolds or Hugh Jackman.

Days later, as they prepared for their Halloween Night dance, the partners got their wish. And they did, in fact, freak out when Ryan Reynolds posted about their Disney Night performance on social media.

Ryan Reynolds sends some love to Danny Amendola and Witney Carson

“We were at rehearsal when [Danny] reposted the first time … Then I posted it separately on my page,” Wintey told Us Weekly. “And then [Ryan] reposted mine, which was really cool … And then we sent him a video just, like, thanking him for reposting us and giving us credit. It was just really cool. He’s a cool guy.”

According to Danny, the Marvel star responded to their video with one of his own. “[He] just [showed us] love and [said he] appreciate[d] the support,” Danny shared. “Obviously, Deadpool’s a lot of people’s favorite movie, so it was good to get that support from him.”

The pair’s routine, inspired by Deadpool and Wolverine’s opening fight scene in the movie, earned them a score of 27 points. Witney’s choreography was set to ‘NSync’s iconic “Bye Bye Bye,” which was also used in the film.

Danny and Witney continue to do well in the dance competition and so far have avoided being eliminated. Following an Election Night break this week, DWTS will return on Tuesday, November 12, for the show’s 500th episode special.

Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+.

Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, Episode 5 Recap: Blast From Everyone’s Past

Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, Episode 5
Photo Credit: Shannon Finney/Bravo via Getty Images

Welcome to the recap for Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, Episode 5. Last week, Jacqueline and Jassi went toe to toe for the role of Mia’s sidekick. Jacqueline made it clear she was number one, but she wasn’t happy about it. Gizelle and Karen have moved on from event-gate and are friends once again. But Karen stirred the pot when she told Stacey the group found her boring. At the end of their first night in Lake Norman, Mia casually dropped the bomb Karen might have been with another dude. Oop. Here’s exactly what went down in RHOP Season 9, Episode 5: “Blast From Everyone’s Past.”

What happened in Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, Episode 5?

Karen’s butt dial mystery was cleared up, but Mia dropped another twist in her confessional. Jacqueline and Karen continued their takedown of one another, with The Grand Dame winning the argument yet again. Mia then came for Keiarna for defending Karen. Ashley jumped in and took it one step too far, sending Keiarna off in shock. Wendy’s birthday brunch ended with a bang when Stacey told Karen several members of the group thought she needed to go to rehab. And then we were left with the dreaded “to be continued” once again.

Wendy officially turned the big double 20

We picked up right where we left off. Mia had said Karen butt dialed her and slipped, “Those girls think I’m with Ray.” Karen said she was probably talking with her driver. She had pulled over and asked him to come pick her up. Karen added that she always does that. Mia cut her off with a “not always.” Eesh. Mia said she decided to drop this after three years because Karen had called Jacqueline a liar. Karen swatted away the daggers with ease. She said this still didn’t vindicate Jacqueline, but “good try.” But what Karen didn’t know was that Mia said in her confessional that the butt dial really happened the next morning. The twists keep on coming!

The group had one hour to go until Wendy turned the big 4-0. Mia joked with Ashley and Jacqueline that Karen was calling her blogger brigade to dig stuff up on her. Stacey got a FaceTime from TJ and introduced him to Wendy and Jassi. Wendy joked they were the “virgin couple that met at vacation bible school … like, take me out the group chat.” It was a few minutes to midnight, and the group counted down to Wendy turning 40. It was a cute moment. In her confessional, Wendy felt at peace with this new decade because of all her accomplishments. But will she ever make that 3-Wick candle?

Mia and Gordon’s relationship status: it’s complicated

Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, Episode 5

The next morning, Mia and Jacqueline met by the pool to chat. Jacqueline said she was feeling okay about last night, but Karen was a tough nut to crack. Mia decided she’d had enough of that storyline and moved on to Gordon instead. She explained Gordon had been blowing up her phone bright and early over an Instagram post of her and Inc. Jacqueline wasn’t surprised. In her confessional, she shared that Mia needed to cut the cord with Gordon, and it probably wasn’t a good idea they were living in the same building.

Mia told Jacqueline that she was sticking by Gordon’s side. Not only because he is the father of her children, but because of his mental health. If Gordon wanted her there, she would be there. Jacqueline advised she might want to stop saying she loved him as he clearly wasn’t over her yet. Needless to say, they were in a complicated relationship. Meanwhile, Gizelle got to see her daughters graduate. She was officially an empty nester. Gizelle noted it was bittersweet because it was the “last of the last for me.” We then got a lovely montage of the kids and Gizelle’s dad. Gizelle concluded, “My kids are amazing, ting!”

Keiarna and Mia have a flute-off

Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, Episode 5

There was a fantastic brunch buffet of waffles and fried chicken to celebrate Wendy’s birthday. And then it all went downhill from there. Mia announced their plans for the day were to go meet Dr. McDaddy. I’m sure that’s exactly how Wendy wanted to spend her big day. Gizelle improved the mood though once she called Wendy and said she was on her way. Karen noted that Gizelle and Wendy had come a long way. Wendy agreed; she was all about “moving forward and being open.”

Jacqueline then jumped in and said, “You gotta let things go. When you hold grudges, it’s gonna make you a bitter old bitch.” Record scratch! Jacqueline denied she was alluding to Karen, but the message was loud and clear. Keiarna had enough of how Karen was being treated. She said, “What the hell was that, Mia? Not a three-year throwback.” They then broke the fourth wall and argued who really needed a flute. Mia then asked, “You wanna talk about your drug dealer boyfriend, maybe?” And right on cue, Ashley confirmed the rumor.

Keiarna turned it right back around and asked Mia about her past. Mia then went pretty low and referenced the altercation Keiarna got in last season. She said, “We know you know about the streets, stitches.” Jassi tried to redirect the attention back to Wendy’s birthday. However, Ashley thought it was an appropriate time to ask Keiarna if she still had a scar. Keiarna stormed off, leaving everyone in shock.

Karen brings back the classic insult “dingbat”

Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, Episode 5

It was the brunch that never ends. Keiarna came back and told Ashley she was off-limits from any personal questions. However, Karen couldn’t let the mouse go and went after Jacqueline again. She accused her sometimes partner Patrick of having 25 convictions. Jacqueline said there was an internal investigation, but he had a new job on the police force. In her confessional, Karen said she was “spewing facts” about Jaqueline because she had been an “enemy” to her.

Jacqueline then told Karen she was blowing up what she said out of proportion. Karen told her she had defamed her to the group. She added that she was well respected, to which Jacqueline snapped, “With two DUI’s?” Then Karen went into her old-timey insult arsenal and said, “I don’t have two DUI’s, dingbat!” Much more creative than dropping the F-bomb. Wendy then corralled the troops to cheers to having a good day. A little too late, but here’s to hoping.

The group then split up to gossip about what just happened. Mia showed Ashley and Jacqueline the receipts of Karen’s DUI allegations. As the three tried to figure out the proper wording for “those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones,” Stacey briefly joined them. She asked, “Why does everybody have a hard on for Karen?” The sexual frustration was real. Mia then showed Stacey the receipts and said she thought Karen needed to go to rehab. Stacey ran right back to Karen and spilled the tea. She asked her, “Should I be worried about you?” To be continued …

Real Housewives of Potomac continues Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.

Sister Wives Star Meri Brown’s Official Release From Marriage: Everything You Need To Know

Sister Wives star Meri Brown.

Sister Wives fans always knew that Meri Brown was getting the short end of the stick when it came to her marriage. The patriarch, Kody Brown, found it hard to care for her during the last ten years. Perhaps it all came down to a lack of trust due to her catfishing scandal. But viewers and I think their demise started early on in the relationship. But Meri is now a free woman and looks forward to leaving Kody in the dust.

Meri Brown has left the building

After 33 years of unwedded bliss, Meri is officially a single woman. In a clip for next week’s Sister Wives episode, the mother of one noted that she had texted Kody, letting him know she was starting the church process. Even though they were not legally married at the time, Mormons believed that they were still spiritually married, and that needed to be rectified. Meri opened up about having a tough conversation with her church leaders that was ultimately “heartbreaking.”

In the clip, Meri revealed she got what she had asked for. The TLC star stated, “I was granted what is called in our church a release, which is the equivalent of a divorce.” Meri added, “It was a very, very hard conversation. Hard meaning heartbreaking because this is not what I wanted to do. This is not what I intended when I married Kody.” Meri explained that the marriage release meant that she and the father of 18 no longer had any attachment. So they wouldn’t be kept “together for eternity.” The clip recorded Meri saying she was “completely done” with her ex.

What do the Mormons believe about spiritual marriage?

As Sister Wives fans know, polygamy is the act of having more than one wife. And it is illegal in all fifty US states. However, Fundamentalist Mormons believe that a man can be spiritually connected to more than one woman. In Season 1, Kody and his family fled Utah for fear of persecution. In Season 1, Kody explained, “It’s just not something I’m comfortable imagining. The vulgarity of you with two husbands or another lover sickens me. It seems wrong to God and nature.”

The Mormon religion believes that their founder, Joseph Smith, was ordered by God to marry multiple wives, which is why the spiritual unions are treated as binding pacts. The church believes that if a husband and wife are sealed together in the temple, they can be together in the celestial kingdom. But thankfully for Meri, the church now believes in divorce. Mormon President Gordon Hinckley’s words: “There is now and again a legitimate cause for divorce. I am not one to say that it is never justified. But I say without hesitation that this plague among us, which seems to be growing everywhere, is not of God, but rather is the work of the adversary of righteousness and peace and truth.”

Kody Brown claims he never loved Meri Brown

So even though Meri was legally divorced in her eyes, the Mormon church needed a bit more. This is why it was so important for Meri to jump through the religious hoops to receive a cancellation of the sealing, which required approval from high-ranking church officials. For Meri, if she ever wanted to remarry, she would have to cancel the sealing before her second wedding. On a hypocritical note, the men are allowed to be sealed to multiple women and do not have to cancel any sealings to remarry in the temple. This could explain why Kody was so uninterested in the whole ordeal.

Kody was happy to release himself from his first wife even though he never responded to her texts. Since Season 18, Meri has been unsure about the divorce process. Even though Kody neglected Meri, she hoped her marriage could be saved. But not even homemade Rice Krispie treats could satiate Kody’s cruel appetite. At least now, Meri can start rebuilding her life and hopefully find a soul mate who wants to be with her.

Jersey Shore’s Top Five Best Moments of All Time

Jersey Shore cast

In December 2009, MTV viewers were gifted the gift that literally kept on giving. The Jersey Shore was a show that I have always loved because it is so dumb but embarrassingly relatable. The early days of the show were SO entertaining. It was a perfect mix of people. The show had heart, humor, and demanding situations and mirrored what life was for in the early 2000s for most. As I felt nostalgic, I thought I’d take a look back at some of the most memorable moments of all time.

1. Jersey Shore Season 4: The Situation hitting his head against the wall

For many, “hitting your head against the wall” is just a figure of speech. But for Mike Sorrentino, they were words to live by. During Season 4, the entire cast traveled to Italy to film abroad. Mike had isolated himself from the entire group. Between his constant fighting with Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and his inability to tell the truth to his housemates, everyone was over The Situation. He grew tired of The Situation’s antics. In a desperate attempt and drug-induced moment, Mike became so heated he literally head-butted a cement wall. The wall attack left fans’ mouths on the floor, and Mike was concussed and left with a neck sprain. While the move was extreme, the rest of the house did end up feeling sorry for Mike and rallied around him during his time of need.

2. Jersey Shore Season 3: Snooki gets arrested on the beach

As a Jersey girl, I’ve been to Seaside every year of my life. But I’ve never seen anyone get arrested while sunning themselves. But leave it to Nicole Polizzi to find herself in the custody of the Seaside Park police after a drunken protest. During Season 3, Snooki had one too many Jager bombs. The tiny meatball wanted to go for a stroll on the boardwalk but instead became a public nuisance. It turns out that a whole day of drinking doesn’t mix well with a reality TV star.

Even though her roommates tried getting her back to the shore house, the police got to Snooki first. MTV cameras caught the moment Snooki was handcuffed and pushed into a police cruiser. Snooki tried to convince the public she was really a “good person,” but in the end, you just can’t be drunk in public. I think it is safe to say she learned a valuable lesson on that sunny day.

3. Pauly D’s stage five clinger

Perhaps one of my all-time favorite Jersey Shore moments was when Pauly DelVecchio found himself a boardwalk stalker. Pauly D was all about GTL and the ladies during the early days. But he hadn’t prepared for one of his women scorned to fight back. While at Bamboo, the DJ met an Israeli woman named Danielle. While she was ready for a full-blown relationship, Pauly wasn’t prepared to settle down just yet. In turn, viewers watched as the playboy made other plans with his roommates and didn’t extend an invite. While playing games and riding his favorite ride, he noticed his “Stage five clinger.”

Danielle tried to insert herself and even yelled at him over the phone. She eventually showed up and begged Pauly to go home with her. Instead, the MTV star decided to have a stern talk, making sure she got the message that he just wanted to be friends. The moment was uncomfortable but made for great TV.

4. Jersey Shore Season 2: The NOTE

Sammi Giancola and Ronnie never had the best relationship. In fact, it was pretty toxic. But I can’t deny that I use “Staaahhpp” at least once a week. Even though it took Ronnie and Sammi years to figure out they didn’t belong together, Snooki and Jenni Farley tried to speed up the breakup process. But the mystery letter backfired severely. The letter was a huge part of Jersey Shore’s history and an iconic moment in pop culture. The family has always been big on loyalty, but the girls didn’t like how Sammie was being treated.

In Season 2, Snooki and JWoww wrote an anonymous note to inform Sam of Ronnie’s cheating ways. Sadly, Sammi forgot not to shoot the messenger as she aimed her rage at her two friends. The fight went down in the kitchen and spanned two episodes. In the end, Ronnie got off, and Sammi tried to land a punch on JWoww.

5. Jenni Farley punches Mike Sorrentino in the face

While in Atlantic City, Jenni became so fed up with The Situation that she delivered a roundhouse that was heard worldwide. Jenni was the strong girl of the house and she never let anyone walk all over her. So when a mix of too many drinks and getting kicked out of a nightclub combine, Jenni turns into The Hulk. The dance enthusiast blamed Mike for their departure, but The Situation didn’t seem to be upset. When back at the hotel, Jenni ambushed her roommate and tried to punch him numerous times. And right when you thought it was over, Jenni landed a brutal backhand. Needless to say, that hit stung.

Why Sister Wives’ Janelle and Christine Brown May Be Going Too Far Dissing Kody

Now, before I get all the Sister Wives fans coming after me and the article, let’s set the record straight. I don’t think Kody Brown will ever win the Husband of the Year award. But I am starting to wonder if he is getting just a bit too much hate. As the saying goes, it takes two to tango. So, I can’t imagine the demise of three relationships being all Kody’s fault. As we know, Meri Brown cheated, and Christine Brown had a jealous streak. While Janelle Brown just fell out of love. So, it doesn’t seem fair that Kody keeps getting walloped by his former wives in the press. But that is just my opinion

Christine Brown and Janelle Brown are on a heated press tour

The shade is flying out of Christine and Janelle’s mouths after the start of Season 19 of Sister Wives. The former wives of the polygamous patriarch aren’t holding back their true feelings regarding their disdain for Kody. And let me tell you, the hate shines through during each interview. Both women stopped by the Radio Andy podcast to promote the show but went into more detail than expected about their personal lives. As the interview ended, the women were asked to describe Kody in just three words. And the reviews from his former spouses were not nice. Christine piped right up, joking, “Just three?”

The mother of six then bluntly answered, “Deadbeat dad. Sorry, that’s two, but that can be two. Deadbeat dad and … oblivious.” Janelle, who has always been kinder to Kody, out of all of his wives, took a softer approach. She shared that her word choice was “charismatic.” Janelle defended her choice, adding, “Come on… when he walks into the room, he’s very charismatic.” However, Christine’s anger with her ex was still too fresh to agree. But Janelle revealed she was “over it.”

Christine Brown is suing Kody Brown for custody of their child

But Janelle didn’t only have sweet things to say about Kody. As viewers saw during Season 18, she found herself in a major fight with the patriarch, which ended in a door slam and her telling him to “f*ck off.” During her interview, Janelle added, “I do think he’s selfish. I do. And I do think oblivious is probably good. Like, he seems to be sort of like, I don’t know, like the reality is bewildering to him.”

The “We Hate Kody Brown Club” has been ongoing for a few years. And I’m sure Kody is less than impressed. It didn’t help his confidence when Christine slapped him with a lawsuit last month. Kody’s second wife is asking for child support and full custody of their 14-year-old daughter, Truely Brown. Christine filed the paperwork on September 16 and also asked for the court to establish the paternity of Truely since Kody was never named on the birth certificate. On top of that, Christine also asked for a domestic relations injunction that would stop both her and Kody from harassment, domestic violence, canceling or modifying services, and taking the children for nonroutine travel.

Should Kody Brown be cut some slack?

I know this is a touchy subject, but the man has been through the wringer. If he isn’t being yelled at on the show, he is being torn apart in the press. Sister Wives viewers know that Kody is no saint. In fact, he is quite the sinner, especially when it comes to ditching his children. As a bitter man, he cries and throws tantrums, but is this just Kody trying to process his feelings? Yes, to an extent, I would argue that it is. But recently, I have found myself sympathizing with the polygamist, especially as his wives tear him apart.

Since the day Christine left, she has not stopped throwing little digs at her former husband. Even though she is now remarried and claiming to live a very happy life, she can’t help herself from bashing Kody. There has been more than one time that Christine and her husband, David Woolley, have posted on IG about him. First, the “queen” comment poked at Kody’s “princess ” comment. And then there was the nacho photo, which I admit was pretty clever. But at what point is it just too much hate? Won’t anyone think of the patriarch (insert high pitch church lady voice here)?

Which Pop Songs Best Represent These Bravo Romances?

All the best pop songs are about failed romances. There is no better muse for music than heartbreak. In the same vein, relationship drama makes for great reality television. Bravo relationships, like pop anthems, are all about drama.

In honor of this natural pairing, we’ve compiled a list of pop songs that perfectly sum up some of Bravo’s most notorious relationships.

Please, please, please – Sabrina Carpenter – Ciara Miller and West Wilson

Lyric excerpt: Heartbreak is one thing, My egos another, I beg you don’t embarrass me, motherf*cker

Ciara Miller found love (or at least a summer fling) with West Wilson in Season 8 of Summer House. The newcomer had no trouble adjusting to the group and was easily embraced by his housemates and viewers. He was so popular that viewers were delighted when fan-favorite Ciara became interested in him. We were excited to see her with someone new after witnessing her trainwreck romance with Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll.

She approached the romance with caution and took things very slow. After all, she was burned by a Bravo star in the past. Fans had high hopes that the relationship would continue but unfortunately, West couldn’t play the long game. At the reunion, Ciara tearfully explained how she felt played by her co-star, who continuously downplayed the seriousness of their relationship even after they slept together. Not cool, dude.

I think Sabrina Carpenter’s single “Please, Please, Please” perfectly sums up West and Ciara’s romance. She wanted him to prove that he wasn’t like the others but in the end, he couldn’t live up to the hype.

The Grudge – Olivia Rodrigo – Ariana Madix and Rachel Leviss

Lyric excerpt: And I doubt you ever think about the damage that you did, But I hold onto every detail like my life depends on it, My undying love, now, I hold it like a grudge

Olivia Rodrigo’s 2023 song “The Grudge” is about feeling betrayed by someone you felt close to. The song immediately made me think of Scandoval. The lyrics question how a person could be capable of such a betrayal, which I’m sure Ariana Madix can relate to.

Many fans have speculated that the tear-jerker is about Taylor Swift and the infamous copyright battle over Olivia’s song Deja-Vu. The song does feel like it is more about a friendship betrayal than a romantic one. The lyrics made me think about Ariana and Rachel Leviss’ friendship, especially because of one lyric that says, “Do you think I deserved it all? Your flowers filled with vitriol?” In the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 episode Secrets Revealed, Rachel brought Ariana flowers the day after she slept with her boyfriend. It almost fits too perfectly.

Bye – Ariana Grande – Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor

Lyric excerpt: Didn’t think you’d lose me, Now it’s just too late to choose me

Ariana Grande’s 2024 hit “Bye” is about choosing yourself over your marriage. I, of course, thought of Brittany Cartwright. The Valley star filed for divorce from her husband, Jax Taylor, in August 2024 after six months of separation. I think all Bravo fans were happy to see Brittany break away from that relationship. She deserves so much better. As Ariana Grande said, “Boy bye!”

Sharpest tool – Sabrina Carpenter – Tom Schwartz and Jo Wenberg

Lyric excerpt: We were goin’ right, then you took a left, Left me with a lot of shit to second-guess, Guess I’ll waste another year on wonderin’ if, If that was casual, then I’m an idiot

Sabrina Carpenter’s song “Sharpest Tool” is about a situationship in which the line between relationship and casual is seriously blurred. I couldn’t help but think of Tom Schwartz and Jo Wenberg. In Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules, Tom Schwartz confused the hell out of the Hairstylist. One minute, he was making “jokes” about them getting married and the next, he would act like she was delusional for thinking they had a future together. I couldn’t help but feel bad for Jo. He was sending her so many mixed signals.

I knew you were trouble – Taylor Swift – Britani Bateman and Jared Osmond

Lyric excerpt: I guess you didn’t care, and I guess I liked that, And when I fell hard, you took a step back

I’m living for Britani Bateman’s relationship drama with Jared Osmond on Season 5 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Jared is waving red flags and Britani is simply pretending not to see them. We’ve all been there. Their toxic dynamic reminds me of Taylor Swift’s 2012 hit, “I Knew You Were Trouble.” He’s bad news yet she can’t help but be with him.

Meredith Marks Reveals When Lisa Barlow and Angie Katsanevas Feud Really Started

Lisa Barlow Angie Katsanevas feud

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 started off with a bang for Lisa Barlow and Angie Katsanevas. Lisa had told Angie that she was upset about Whitney Rose calling her a “villain.” There has to be worse things than being called a villain, right? However, the besties quickly turned frenemies once Angie betrayed Lisa’s trust. She went behind Lisa’s back and told Whitney about her complaints. This was the beginning of the end of their friendship. Or was it? Meredith Marks believes it started to fall apart much earlier.

Meredith Marks spills the tea that Lisa Barlow and Angie Katsanevas’ feud started last season

Angie telling Whitney what happened really lit a fire under Lisa. She yelled at Whitney and Angie and even threw a glass. What a way to kick off the new season! Still, Angie met up with Lisa for lunch to talk things over. But Lisa pulled a Meredith and disengaged. And Meredith was not surprised.

Meredith was on Watch What Happens Live and told Andy Cohen when she believes their issues really started. A caller asked, “How surprised were you by Angie and Lisa’s rift considering how long they had been close? And do you think it’s a red flag that Lisa has had issues with everyone in the group?”

She responded, “So, everyone has had issues with almost everybody in the group. It’s no more of a red flag than any of us should be setting off.” Lisa has definitely felt like everyone has to come at her. When can a girl just take a break and enjoy her Wendy’s?

Meredith continued, “Angie and Lisa’s rift, was I surprised? No, because I sort of felt it all brewing. There were things I saw that happened last year that set off red flags for me. So, I was not terribly surprised. I hope they resolve it, you know.”

There was no more tea on what Meredith saw exactly that set off red flags for her. However, we still have a long way to go this season, so maybe she will drop the bomb later on. In the meantime, we can at least enjoy that Meredith and Lisa are finally in a good place again.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
