The Real Housewives of Miami is back for its sixth season, and the show’s off to an incredible start. Among the RHOM cast is Dr. Nicole Martin, arguably the least unhinged member of the group. She knows exactly how to throw petty shade, such as sending a mirror to disinvite co-star Larsa Pippen from her engagement party in Season 5. It was a moment that’ll go down in reality television history.
Nicole’s most divisive storyline, however, is the relationship she shares with her father, Miguel. Some viewers think that she should cut him a little more slack, while others believe he should take some lessons in acting his age.
Thankfully, it appears as though Nicole and her dad are now on the same page, after audiences watched them get a little closer in Season 5. It turns out, Nicole credits Real Housewives of Miami for helping fix that relationship.
RHOM’s Nicole is happy to give a “second chance”

“I think a big journey for me during the last three seasons has been my relationship with my dad, and it hasn’t always been rainbows and butterflies,” Nicole explained to The Blast. “But we are in a much better place now than we have ever been. I think everybody deserves second chances, and I think you only get one shot at this life, especially with family.”
She also revealed that her dad was “in the hospital right now,” (during the time of the interview). So, she was “very thankful to the show for having kind of forced me to address that elephant in the room when it came to my relationship with him, because had it not been for the show, I think I would have swept all those feelings under the rug and never addressed them.”
“I’m happy that we got to a much better place now that he’s not doing so well,” Nicole concluded.

Previously on Bachelor in Paradise, Olivia Lewis has had a hard time hanging onto her men. But now Michael Barbour has arrived in Paradise. Will he ask Olivia on a date? “John Henry who?” Olivia jokes. Here are some highlights from Bachelor in Paradise Season 9, Episode 8.
All the guys are hoping Michael will pick Olivia since she’s been dumped so many times in Paradise. She deserves to be “chosen” by someone, especially after Kat Izzo stole John Henry from her.
Happily, he does choose her, and Olivia’s thrilled. In a confessional, she imagines getting engaged in Mexico, but it turns out she doesn’t even know Michael’s name! I hope somebody told her before they left for their date.
Sitting by a firepit (seriously, isn’t it like 100° in Mexico?), Olivia decides she really likes Michael, and the whole John Henry/Kat situation was a blessing in disguise. She doesn’t want to screw this up. When she gets him back to the beach, she doesn’t want anybody else to touch him, look at him or talk to him.
Wells Adams announces that it’s time again for the Paradise Truth Box. So he pulls out a few of the notes and reads them aloud just to stir up some drama.
“Peter totally shaves his legs.” Who cares?
“John Henry and Kat are going the distance.” Yeah, as far as they can get away from each other. Who put that one in there? It had to be either Kat or her partner in crime Kylee Russell ’cause nobody else really likes Kat.
“Tyler [Norris], everyone knows you’re not that into Mercedes [Northrup]. You’d better come clean ‘cause she deserves the truth.” Yikes! That one hit a nerve. Now Mercedes is insecure. She likes Tyler and thought they were okay.
When she pulls Tyler aside for a talk, he tells her he feels happy and thinks she’s beautiful. But now she’s questioning his motives and doesn’t know if they’re on the same page.
Mission accomplished, Truth Box.
Something wicked this way comes

As the end of Paradise gets closer, couples are starting to think about what life in the real world could look like. Jess Girod thinks she’s finally found her “person” and is looking forward to life outside of Paradise.
Host Jesse Palmer greets her with a hug. “Katie!” he says. “I wasn’t expecting to see you here in Paradise.”
“I wasn’t expecting myself either, but here we are,” she responds.
Katie explains that things just “didn’t work out” with Blake. She hasn’t seen or spoken to him in a couple of years. Even though they ended on good terms, Katie moved on faster than he expected, so he was angry with her.
“I don’t think Blake’s gonna be happy that I’m here,” she says. “I really don’t.”
And on that note, Jesse sends her on down the stairs to Paradise.
Just as everyone’s talking about the day being full of “good vibes,” here comes Blake’s ex into Paradise.
“Hello,” she calls somewhat timidly, as she comes around the corner. Blake looks a little bit sick and like he just wants to disappear.
“Oh, my f*cking God,” he mutters. “I was in love with this girl. I have not seen her in two years. It’s just weird seeing her.”
Blake’s “worst nightmare”

“Addressing the elephant in the room,” Katie continues, “I’m gonna pull Blake aside and we’ll go chat a little bit.” Reluctantly, Blake follows her.
“Why is she even here?” Blake wonders to himself. “There’s not a worse scenario.”
Blake does remember getting voice messages from Katie after their breakup, but he was bitter at the time and didn’t feel obliged to respond. “You were in a relationship,” he continues. “I wasn’t overly excited about that. It was a bit of a dagger. I was like, ‘I don’t owe her that.'”
“I agree,” Katie replies. “That’s why I’ve never reached out since … I really don’t even remember what I said in those voicemails, but if I didn’t say it then, I’m saying it now. I’m sorry that things went the way they did. If I could go back and redo it all, I would.”
As the other residents of Playa Escondida speculate about whether Katie is here to date or for some other nefarious reason, Katie herself explains why she’s here. After admitting that her experience as the Bachelorette didn’t turn out the way she’d hoped, she adds, “Let’s be honest. Who needs dating apps when you can just be a reoccurring contestant on reality TV?” Oh, that’s right. Katie’s pursuing her new career as a standup comedienne these days.
“I did want to be here first,” she adds, “but unfortunately, Blake came first – which as his ex-fiancé, I’m used to.” Ouch. That was unnecessary. Also, nobody laughed. Don’t quit your day job, Katie.
“Tonight I’m not actually here to date,” she continues. “We’re actually turning the Rose Palapa into the Roast Palapa for the first ever Bachelor in Paradise Comedy Roast. Tonight you get to live, laugh, love your way, and extend your 15 minutes of fame.”
They break into pairs and start writing. Olivia says “Everyone is a target. Nobody’s safe.” This could get messy. Olivia’s coming for everyone, especially Kat and Katie.
The BIP Comedy Roast

Jesse welcomes us to the BIP Comedy Roast. First up is Katie.
Katie’s best jokes: “This show is so stupid, it makes John Henry look smart … No surprise Jess’ nickname is Baby Jess since Blake used to make me call him Daddy.”
John Henry: “Olivia – wait – you’re still here?” Oh, that was mean.
Aaron Bryant: “John Henry, his underwater diving has him color-blind ‘cause he can’t tell a red flag from a Homie Hopper.”
Blake: “It’s unfortunate the doctor sent Sam home for constipation. Kat, you’d better watch out. You’ve been full of sh*t this whole time.”
Tanner: “Kat, I know I ruined your birthday, and I’m really sad about how that conversation went. But I really couldn’t tell where your head was at ‘cause your face couldn’t move due to all the Botox.”
And they came just as hard for Jess.
Kat: “Baby Jess, I know it’s been a while since you’ve had a date, but maybe if you took that pacifier out of your mouth, you could start kissing with some tongue.”
Tanner: “Blake, I just actually heard that the same year you got engaged to Katie was actually the same year Jess was born … We were all really, really excited when we found out there was gonna be an ex-Bachelorette on the beach, and obviously we were really hoping for Gabby, but we got Rachel.” Ouch. Rachel didn’t like that one, though she tried to keep smiling.
The beach is on fire

The next morning, even Olivia admits that she thought the roast would be funny, but feelings were hurt. She didn’t enjoy that.
Katie came down to Sayulita and set the beach on fire. Rachel’s crying, Mercedes is angry and Jess’ feelings are hurt. This wasn’t as much wasn’t fun as everyone thought it might be.
The women have the roses, but there’s no joy in Paradise. And there’s a Rose Ceremony tonight. There are currently eleven guys and eight girls, so three of the men will be going home. They should have thought of that before they pissed off all the women.
Before he can even think about accepting another rose from Jess, Blake needs to have a conversation with her. Uh oh. He leads her to one of the daybeds, away from everyone.
“I’m very confused,” Blake says in an interview. “I spent way less time with Katie but still understood the love that I had for her in that time. I’ve spent so much more time with Jess, and I just should have felt it by now.”
I feel a breakup coming on. Brace yourself for the tears. I always felt he was too old for Jess anyway – or she’s just too young for him.
“I feel like I had a real taste of what love is here,” he tells her. “And I feel like we’re not getting there at all.”
Next Thursday is Thanksgiving, so we’ll see you in two weeks for all the drama in Paradise. Enjoy your turkey!

Another week, another preventable disaster caused by Larsa Pippen. The ladies are back in Real Housewives of Miami Season 6, Episode 3. Last week, fans were left on a cliffhanger as Larsa joined Guerdy Abraira for lunch and Guerdy struggled with whether to tell Larsa about the breast cancer diagnosis. Guerdy cried as she recommended Larsa offer “a safer space.”
Larsa Pippen cannot keep a secret (duh)
As Guerdy wept, Larsa demanded to know what the tears were for. Guerdy leaned in and finally said what all viewers knew: “I have breast cancer.” Larsa was (finally) left speechless, but only for a moment. When she did respond, she bafflingly said, “How am I supposed to know that?” Guerdy looked understandably frustrated.
Larsa then began asking how Guerdy knew she had breast cancer. “Are you seriously asking me how I know I have breast cancer?” Guerdy rightfully responded. After breaking it down, Larsa apologized, but in the most stand-offish way possible. Guerdy again asked for a safe space and told Larsa she told her “in confidence.”
To no one’s surprise (especially the editors’), six hours later, Larsa was already spilling the beans. At Marcus Jordan’s welcome home party, she told her friends as well as the rest of the Housewives cast. When Larsa’s friends told her to be a friend to Guerdy, she seemed to struggle to understand the concept.
When Larsa revealed Guerdy’s cancer diagnosis, Lisa, Kiki, and Marysol were understandably distraught. Alexia showed up with Todd Nepola, and she was equally distressed by the news of Guerdy. The ladies were surprised to see Todd at the party, especially since he skipped out on Alexia’s party. Once Marcus walked in, he expressed his surprise to see Todd as well.
Todd explained that he didn’t want to join the party because “people” on the guest list would have allegedly bad-mouthed his family and stepson. Though, Kiki believed Adriana de Moura was being used as a scapegoat. But Todd was ready to move on (a little too quickly). Marcus needed a drink.
Lisa’s stuck on Lenny at Jody’s expense

The group briefly discussed Larsa’s charity basketball game for the next day and celebrated Marcus’ homecoming over drinks. Lisa announced her attempts to become financially independent. Larsa told the camera about her experience of being “trapped” with Scottie Pippen. The men then stepped outside.
With Jody outside, Lisa started going off on Lenny Hochstein. “He doesn’t give a damn about me,” she began. The longer she went, the more her friends tried to get her to calm down. “He has tortured me my entire life,” Lisa said. As Jody went to use the bathroom, the other girls tried to warn Lisa, but she didn’t care.
Jody walked right past the conversation just as Lisa said, “Even though I have Jody in my life, I cry almost every night.” Mayrsol called Jody “a damn saint” for listening to the Lenny stories so often. Lisa would not drop the topic.
Separately, Nicole Martin and Anthony Lopez went shopping for a replacement boat (there was nothing wrong with the current boat, they just wanted a bigger one). The two also discussed their intentions to have a second child.
Julia Lemigova, meanwhile, went to her secret opera lessons. Julia revealed she’d been learning opera in secret because her wife, Martina Navratilova, loved opera more than anything in the world, and she wanted to surprise her wife. While Julia’s technical skill perhaps wasn’t quite there yet, the sentiment was beyond sweet.
Elsewhere, Guerdy and her husband, Russell Abraira, were taking a walk and having a candid conversation (after discussing Guerdy’s “scared of bird phobia”). Russell told the kids about the diagnosis. Liam asked if it was contagious, and Guerdy smiled. Guerdy made sure Russell wasn’t too taxed with her “sh*t,” but he said, “Your sh*t is my sh*t,” and the two had a moment.
The drama’s only just begun

At Lisa’s house, Lisa spoke with Jody on the phone about Lenny, acknowledging that Jody was acting as her therapist. As her kids shouted for her, Lisa just stayed on the phone for a while. Lisa further acknowledged that she was being pulled away from motherhood, blaming Lenny, who allegedly once said, “One day, the kids will see who you really are, then they won’t even choose you.”
Nicole met up with her mom to discuss the new house and other life developments. “We’re trying,” she said in response to baby number two. She further explained that marriage was not a rush for her or Anthony, and she wasn’t worried about how her life would be if Anthony broke up with her.
Julia and Martina met up for lunch where Julia was met with a rude awakening. Due to her opera practices, she forgot the end of Martina’s treatment three days prior. “I genuinely feel horrible,” Julia said, but she couldn’t explain herself since she wanted the opera to be a surprise. Understandably, Julia became emotional due to the remorse.
Guerdy soon joined the pair to get some insight into the cancer treatment process. She admitted her fears regarding chemo and radiation, especially with the void of black breast cancer survivors out there. With many of Guerdy’s fears assuaged, the episode ended with Larsa and Marcus discussing the upcoming charity event, which a teaser showed to be a nightmare between Adriana and Marysol.

Swifties, brace yourself! Next week’s Dancing with the Stars episode is about to be everything and more. The upcoming theme is a Taylor Swift celebration, and all of the teams are going to be strutting their stuff to some of Tay Tay’s biggest songs.
Of course, Taylor won’t be there. She’s too busy running around with her new boo and performing to sold-out crowds. But, Mandy Moore will be guest judging! She did the choreography for Taylor’s Eras Tour, so it’s kind of like the next best thing, right?
PEOPLE chatted with Ariana Madix and her professional dance partner Pasha Pashkov about their upcoming performance for Taylor Swift Night. In the true spirit of T-Swift, Ariana teased that she and Pasha have some exciting Easter Eggs planned for their performance!
For Taylor Swift night, Ariana and Pasha lucked out and managed to snag Taylor’s current hit, “Cruel Summer.” She teased to the outlet, “I think there’s going to be some Easter Eggs, in classic Taylor style.”
Meanwhile, Pasha gushed about the technical aspects of the dance, revealing that they’re doing a rumba. He explained. “In general, as a dancer, when you listen to Taylor Swift’s music, a lot of the songs are perfect for beautiful rumbas, foxtrots, and Viennese waltzes.”
Taylor’s songs might be perfectly matched for a rumba, but Ariana’s life is perfectly matched for a Taylor song. No one navigates a breakup like Taylor, so after Ariana’s cruel summer, this will probably be a cathartic performance.
Of course, Pasha and Ariana couldn’t reveal all of the Easter Eggs they had planned for the performance. But, they did say that their costumes will be a direct nod to an outfit Taylor has worn.
Ariana has been dominating the competition so far in DWTS Season 32. In the past two weeks, she’s delivered killer performances celebrating Britney Spears and Whitney Houston. However, the Vanderpump Rules star hasn’t managed to pull off a perfect score just yet. Perhaps the Taylor Swift celebration will be the night she gets the big 40.

Kyle Cooke has made a rather unfavorable impression on Captain Lee Rosbach by proxy of his friendship with Carl Radke. The Loverboy founder was vocal about his concerns for Carl when he was in a relationship with Lindsay Hubbard. When Carl broke off the engagement with his Summer House co-star, Kyle made interview rounds sharing his opinion and what he had seen when they were filming together last.
As a result, Captain Lee puts some of the blame of the failed relationship on Kyle’s shoulders. So when the two Bravolebrities attended BravoCon 2023, they made sure to stay out of one another’s way to avoid feeling uncomfortable.
Kyle admitted to The Messenger that he “kind of walked by” the Stud of the Sea at the event in Las Vegas.
“I was surprised to hear that Kyle Cooke said he avoided me at BravoCon,” Captain Lee responded during the November 15 episode of the Salty With Captain Lee podcast.
His co-host Sam DeCavalcanti asked if the resulting behavior was a “highlight.” The reality TV star replied, “I don’t know [if it was a highlight]. The fact that I didn’t have to talk to him probably might have been.”
“It was funny just to find out he was actually avoiding me. He flatters me. I think, I am not sure. That was an unusual moment at BravoCon,” he added. It seems Captain Lee’s ego enjoyed the lack of interaction.
Captain Lee had blamed Kyle for contributing to Carl and Lindsay’s split
In a previous podcast episode from November 1, the former Below Deck captain explained why he blames Kyle for adding stress to Carl and Lindsay’s relationship.
“You know know the guy who really kind of ticks me off in that whole situation? Kyle,” he stated. “I think he contributed to a certain degree.”
Referring to the infamous Season 7 argument between Carl and Kyle, Lee added, “Like that one night he got totally sh*t-faced drunk and called Lindsay everything under the book that you could think of in front of Carl. And Carl sat there and took it and didn’t get all bent out of shape and aggressive on him. Which he had every right to do.”
He also took offense to Kyle’s post-split interview comments and found them very tone-deaf.
“Kyle comes out and says he could see the cracks in the relationship. Wake up, you were part of the cracks. You are supposed to be Carl’s best friend, and all you do every waking moment that you’re talking to Carl is badmouthing Lindsay,” he opined.
“Is that what friends do? I feel bad for both of them. I think people that don’t know should realize that they don’t know, and they shouldn’t speculate because their words have impact.” He added: “I don’t know how Kyle and Carl stayed friends.”
Indeed, it’s interesting that Kyle and Carl’s friendship emerged unscathed from the break up mess. But perhaps speaks volumes as to the true underlying issues. As for Lee and Kyle, it seems there is little reason or motivation to mend fences.
Summer House is due to premiere in early 2024.

Kourtney and Kylie actually showed up to film several scenes in the latest episode, which is atypical for the sisters. Don’t get it twisted — Kim Kardashian still carries this family and the show that made them famous. However, it’s nice to see some supporting help. Kim goes Hollywood, for real

Kim embarked on her acting journey this week. She was preparing to join American Horror Story and turned to none other than the theatrical Scott Disick to help her run lines. Scott was ready to support Kim all the way in New York City and split the rent for a place with her — 90 percent to Kim, 10 percent to Scott, of course. Kim took the role seriously by taking acting classes to memorize several pages of lines. She recognized that her goal for 2023 was to slow down.
“That clearly hasn’t worked out,” Kim said. “I’m not going to show up unprepared.”
Khloe cleans her hands of Tristan

Tristan may have finally moved out of Khloe’s house, but he’s still always lingering around in a tracksuit ready to break out a misused metaphor. Khloe partially felt obligated to stay close to her ex as she’s involved in making medical decisions for Tristan’s brother Amari. She promised Tristan’s mom that she would continue to help with Amari before she died.
However, Khloe didn’t get involved when Tristan expressed his desire to apologize to her individual family members for his past cheating. He had apparently spoken to Kris Jenner, Kim, and Rob Kardashian at that point, but not the others. Khloe encouraged the idea but left it up to him to clean up his mess.
“This is between him and each individual family member,” Khloe said. “I think it’s important for him to have these conversations for his own growing journey.” When speaking to her sisters about the idea, Khloe doesn’t lose sight of the immense pain Tristan has caused her in their relationship.
“That’s the biggest mind f*ck of all of this,” Khloe said to Kylie. “You’re all of great fucking things but you couldn’t f*cking be great to me.” And that’s exactly why Khloe should never go back to him.
King Kylie’s starring episode

One person that Tristan had a lot of explaining to do to was King Kylie. Kylie’s best friend Jordyn Woods was in the middle of a Tristan cheating scandal years ago that ruined her best friendship. Tristan took responsibility for ruining that, and Khloe admitted that she had forgiven Jordyn for her part and they were good. Now, Tristan geared up for a one-on-one chat with Kylie.
Tristan came over to Kylie’s for the first time in years for the “long overdue” conversation. He acknowledged that his actions caused her to lose a person who was a major part of her life. Kylie reflected that if the Jordyn situation hadn’t happened, she would still be living with her and, in retrospect, it was probably best for them to grow individually apart. Kylie and Jordyn are apparently on good terms these days, and Tristan asked for Kylie to pass along his apology. Sir, that is probably another conversation you should probably have yourself. It doesn’t make Jordyn’s feelings less important just because her last name isn’t Kardashian/Jenner.
Kim craves the lazy life

Kim was booked and busy in NYC preparing for her TV debut, trying on her dress for the Met Gala, and supporting Kourtney during Blink-182’s stop in the city. She was exhausted and, for the first time in her life, overslept through her alarm. She also was so delirious in the morning during a SKIMS promo that she was spilling secrets to fans without thinking about the future of the brand.
“This whole morning has been a complete foggy dream,” Kim said, half-asleep.
Kim admitted that American Horror Story put her over the edge, but she can’t say no or shy away from a challenge because she feared the opportunity would never return in the future.
“I work hard to make sure it doesn’t go away,” Kim said. “I said ‘no’ to someone and they stopped speaking to me.” Kris remained worried that Kim was going to burn out, but Kimmy clearly wanted to prove to us always that she could do the unthinkable.
Kourtney’s epic comeback

Tristan had a bit tougher time in his one-on-one talk with Kourtney than Kylie. Kourtney showed up with a notebook of grievances and ready to get the hard truth out of Tristan, not flowery language that fits what the family wanted to hear. Tristan admitted it was like being in the principal’s office.
“Tristan and I really have not connected and I just can’t fake it,” Kourtney said.
Kourtney got Tristan to reveal how he feels the day after cheating and realize that he never learned how to love as a child. Tristan claimed that his mom sheltered him from a lot of pain inflicted on her by his dad, so he’s never had to deal with hard emotions. Rather, he masks them.
Kourtney reminded Tristan that he’s made multiple mistakes, including blindsiding Khloe, repeatedly. Then, she hit him with the hardest truth before the show gave us an ominous “to be continued.”
“I don’t think you deserve Khloe or the actions that you’ve done have been something that she deserves,” Kourtney proclaimed. And now, we finally said it.
