Season 44 of Survivor has given birth to a new romance. An actual romance—not just a showmance! On the Soka tribe, fellow nerds Frannie Marin and Matt Blankinship hit it off from the jump. Their fellow Survivor competitors noticed their bond. It certainly put a target on their back as a “power couple” in the game.
Sadly, it wouldn’t be an issue for long. Matt’s fortunes tumbled when the immunity challenge divided the competitors into two teams. Damn you and your surprises, Jeff Probst! Frannie and Matt were on opposing teams. The person who lasted the longest from each team won individual immunity, and the last person also won it for their entire team.
Frannie won individual immunity for herself. If she dropped the ball (quite literally) that she was balancing, she would keep Matt’s team from going to Tribal Council. If she kept competing and won, then Matt would probably be banished to the jury. You guessed it—Frannie went for it and slayed that challenge.
Oh, and the security software engineer left his bag, which contained his “Shot in the Dark” advantage, at camp. Oops! In fairness to Matt, he had no way of knowing that he wouldn’t be returning to camp before the next Tribal Council.
Matt recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about his time on Survivor and gave an update on his relationship with Frannie. Matt reflected on his decision not to bring his bag. “For the record, I was not the only one who left their bag. I was the only one for whom it mattered, but I was not the only one who was slipping up in that way. I’m kicking myself for that one,” he explained. Ouch!
So, how did he feel when Frannie kept competing instead of ensuring his safety in the game? Matt stated, “I’m genuinely so proud of her for winning the immunity and setting the tone in this way. I don’t fault her at all for wanting to compete and wanting to win.”
He continued, “I mean, okay, I was hoping that I would be safe in that moment. It was a complicated feeling for me as well, because actually — and I don’t think they showed this in the episode — but when Brandon [Cottom] dropped the ball, I had a moment of joy, actually. I was so excited for Frannie. I was putting myself in her shoes, being like, ‘I’ve won the challenge!’”
He added, “And then I had a turnaround of like, ‘Oh s—. Now I’m screwed.’ The emotional response came before the logical response.”
Although his stint on Survivor may have ended abruptly, Matt walked away with the real prize- a love connection! Matt and Frannie are dating in real life. I always root for love!
“We’re still going strong. Obviously, there is so much chemistry there. We’re two dorky magnets. We couldn’t stay away from each other,” Matt remarked. “And we knew the whole time. I think of myself as a very logical, smart guy. The one thing you come into Survivor and not do is get into a showmance ’cause it’s a terrible strategy, but we literally couldn’t help it. So, yeah, we’re still going strong. We did get Ethiopian food. We’re planning that road trip. We’re making it happen.”
Still, finding a deep romantic connection on Survivor is rare. “You prepare for this game, but you could never prepare for that, right? One of the things I told myself going out there was to just sort of embrace whatever the experience had for me. I think I really did that.” But his feelings for Frannie were too strong to ignore.
“For me, that connection is so strong. That relationship with me and Frannie is so beautiful and so pure. It would be a disservice to me and a disservice to her to not allow that to flourish, regardless of game, you know? I’m the real winner of Survivor 44,” Matt said.
Viewers will have to wait and see how far Frannie makes it in the game. At least the duo can still gaze longingly at each other during Tribal Council. And who knows? Maybe this couple will follow in the footsteps of Survivor legend “Boston Rob” also known as Rob Mariano and his now wife, Amber Mariano. Once in a while, love does triumph on this show.

Kathy may not be renowned for her fashion moments on the Real Housewives, but she has definitely turned some looks in her time. Here we take a look at some of her best, most stylish moments across the years.
Kathy can be seen here taking part in a mother-and-daughter fashion show, with both a young Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton by her side. Having brought two more fashionistas into the world, it was clear that Kathy had to prove her credentials. She did exactly that with this zebra print ensemble, strutting her stuff down the runway with the little ones in hand. The extravagant large necklace makes a statement: this is a woman who has money and isn’t afraid to flaunt it.
As the years went by, Kathy would go for more understated looks. This gorgeous dress with a floral print is one example of that. It maintains her status as a fashion icon, but in pairing it with a cardigan she is giving off an air of modesty. Those shiny heels that effortlessly match the color of the floral print show that Kathy is somebody who thinks through every facet of her ensemble. This may be simple, but time went into making sure it was executed perfectly.
It can be hard not to go overboard when you’re attending an event such as an official Golden Globes Party in Beverly Hills. To see Kathy was able to draw attention in something as modest as this outfit is a feat in itself. Sticking with the color white from head to toe, she gives off an air of innocence. Kathy wears her signature blonde locks down with this look, and the small tilt of the head only serves to ramp up the angelic vibes she is giving off.
Showing a little leg in this look, Kathy wears a stunning kaftan-esque dress that looks like she has just descended from Mount Olympus to share her gorgeous fashion with us mere mortals. The light turquoise color combined with the gold effects both around the neck and extended to Kathy’s choice of jewelry, purse, and heels makes for a defining ensemble. It might not be what she wears around the airport, but it’s a look that will stick with her fans forever.
When you’re a woman of such status as Kathy, you realize you don’t need to wear outlandish outfits to gain attention. Sometimes you can step out in a simple black dress with red heels and an eye-catching brooch, and that is enough. Kathy looks as if she is one of Hollywood’s finest, and that’s about as accurate a description as you can give to the reality TV star. She knows she looks good, and she isn’t afraid to pose up a storm in front of the cameras.
Another day, another red carpet Beverly Hills event for Kathy. There are 10s across the board for this stunning red gown, which gives her a light airiness and allows the star to glide across the matching red carpet. The simple threaded design across either side of the torso area does enough to push this into stand-out territory. While the red of the purse is a slightly different tone, it elevates the ensemble and cements it as a real classic from Kathy’s back catalog of fashion moments.
Keep it casual, but make it fashion. That’s what Kathy has done with this summer vibes look. Strutting her stuff in Los Angeles, she wears a gorgeous blue throughout her entire ensemble. While the top she has chosen is a basic one, she has paired it with patterned airy pants that showcase her eye for fashion. Sometimes when you’re as recognizable as a member of the Hilton family, you want to have a day away from the fans. In wearing this outfit, Kathy maintains some sense of privacy, while still delivering style.
Sometimes you need to pick a dress that is easy enough to move around in. One that floats with you, rather than working against you. In fashion, you can trade off comfort for jaw-dropping style and moments. Fortunately, that’s not something Kathy has to do. She looks absolutely incredible in this free-flowing number, with a simple pattern that screams understated elegance. The shawl she carries along with her to keep her warm is the perfect finishing touch.
When Kathy has to pull out all of the stops to make a statement, she does exactly that. During the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, she delivered an awe-inspiring bubblegum pink dress with a gorgeous train. All of which draped to the floor. The bell sleeves are VERY Hollywood, and the top-handle bag she chose to pair with it in silver completes the fashion offering. Raising money for a good cause is at the heart of what any Real Housewives star worth their salt does. Kathy attended a Women’s Cancer Research Fund event earlier this year (2023), and wore the iconic pink synonymous with the fundraiser when doing so. The look is sophisticated from the waist up and brings in a dash of punk energy with the netted dress from the hips down. The feathery pink bag is a unique piece, and works expertly with the rest of the outfit.

The only thing better than a big soireé is an even bigger wedding. You can absolutely count on Bravolebrities to bring the bling and bring the sting that comes with getting the bill. With wedding season on the horizon, let’s look at a few of the most expensive Bravo weddings.
Back in 2010, Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel was pregnant and in love. Fast forward to 2023 and Beth has been in love about 3 or 4 times since she sent Bryn Hoppy’s dad packing. But before Jason Hoppy became enemy number one, he became Bethenny’s husband number two. Luckily for Bethenny, Bravo threw a wedding spinoff her way and maybe handled a bit of the cost.
Bethenny’s Getting Married? captured all the antics as Beth prepared to head to the altar and have a baby. The RHONY spinoff saw Alex McCord and Ramona Singer attending the big event. The ceremony was held at the Four Seasons where the price can shoot as high as $200K. Bethenny had a small event, with only 80 guests in the Pool Room of the venue. Additionally, her dress was gifted, as the engagement announcement brought offers of gown designs for free. The honeymoon for the new couple was also at no charge. At the time, Bethenny said, “I’m paying for guests, and there’s probably some perks that Bravo’s worked out. Any perks that Bravo’s worked out, great!”
In addition to an expensive wedding, she didn’t have to fully fund herself, the photos from Bethenny’s marriage went for upwards of $25K, which sparked a bidding war between media outlets.
Well, this goes to show just because you don’t have a lot of money doesn’t mean you can’t spend a lot of money. Unfortunately, it also shows sometimes true love doesn’t last forever (see previous entry). Eva Marcille wasn’t on Real Housewives of Atlanta for long, but she did a lot during her tenure. She got married, she had kids, and she took Marlo Hampton for a bus ride that Marlo is still trying to recover from.
When Eva married Michael Sterling (RIP Relationship October 2018 – April 2023) she didn’t intend to spend a whopping $350K on the nuptials. Initially, Eva planned on shelling out between $80 – $100K, which is nothing to sneeze at. The couple also implemented a “No kids, no plus ones, and no ankles” policy at the shindig. According to BET, Eva spent $1,000 per her 235 guests to ensure a good time was had by all. The cost of her flowers was $20K alone. Eva didn’t let financial rumors plague her on this one. Not even NeNe Leakes’ sour puss could take the shine off of Eva’s expensive day.
Speaking of Ms. Leakes, her second marriage to Gregg Leakes was also a show-stopper. When the RHOA OG tagged Gregg in for number two, Bravo gifted her a whole spinoff called I Dream of NeNe. This 2013 affair had NeNe in two wedding gowns and a ton of headlines. One of her dresses was rumored to cost about $20K and was encrusted in Swarovski crystals.
The total for NeNe’s joyous occasion clocked in at about $1.8 million. Guests attended the lavish ceremony at the InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta Hotel. In a twist that surprised almost everyone, in July 2013, NeNe was sued by her wedding planner. TMZ reported the company behind the event planning alleged NeNe didn’t pay her bills in full. Dream Design Weddings wanted over $889,900 from NeNe for their troubles.

We all remember this one. In Season 2 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump’s dreams came true. LVP was thrilled when her only daughter Pandora Vanderpump Todd finally got engaged to Jason Sabo. As soon as Pandy nabbed that ring, Lisa started the planning process. She wanted an extravagant but intimate gathering and brought in Kevin Lee to make it chi-chi-chi. There was an air-conditioned tent with flora and fauna galore. The price of the wedding invites was a whopping $15K and featured a huge box people probably didn’t know what to do with.
Over 200 people attended Pandora and Jason’s event and the total cost was around $1 million. Surprisingly, the gown was a mere $6,000 and included hand-sewn roses with diamonds. I’m sure it comes as no surprise the theme of the afternoon had an obvious pink hue with suspended floral arrangements and flowers encompassing the chandeliers. If you watched the action go down on RHOBH, it was truly a glamorous and romantic little get-together.
Here’s an interesting one. It might be for the best, but the total cost of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice’s wedding to Luis Ruelas hasn’t been fully revealed. Because Teresa has had previous large financial issues which resulted in prison, and Luis filed bankruptcy, I’m kind of glad we don’t know what they actually spent on this… lowkey affair. That said, it’s safe to assume because all of Teresa’s fake wedding hair cost $10K, this was probably a VERY expensive afternoon. BTW, the majority of the high hair cost was the $7K worth of human hair and about 1500 bobby pins. That’s not me being sarcastic. Those are legit numbers.
Tre’s dress was designed by Mark Zunino. His gowns go for roughly between $3K and $5K. It featured 300 yards of hand-draped English netting and the train was over 100 inches long. The couple held court at Park Chateau Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, NJ where wedding packages can reach $350+ per person. About 220 people showed up, but her brother and his wife stayed away. Fun fact; because Ramona Singer leaked Tre’s wedding invites, more security had to be hired which shot up the total cost.

Season two alums Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson were among several stars...Kyle Richards is in the middle of filming Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ lucky number Season 13. At least they’re hoping it will be luckier than the last few seasons. Kyle recently organized a fantastic charity event to raise money and bring awareness to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. In May 2022, Kyle lost her best friend, Lorene Shea to suicide, and the function was held in her honor.
Well good on Kyle for that, hope it was a success. The night of music was attended by everyone who loves and supports Kyle. Some of her current and former co-stars showed up, but there were a couple of noticeable absences. Camille Grammer 007 was there. Of course, John Mellencamp’s daughter checked in and probably arrived early enough to assemble the step and repeat. But it looks like Lisa Rinna’s name was on the milk carton instead of the guest list. Apparently, Kyle and Lisa’s friendship is in the danger zone. Page Six was at Kyle’s NAMI event and shared some details.
There doesn’t seem to be much love lost after Rinna was bounced from RHOBH. After Kyle’s sister Kathy Hilton had a decidedly unenjoyable cast trip to Aspen, Colorado, things went downhill for both the sisters and Rinna. Kathy was accused of homophobic slurs, threatening Kyle’s family, and having a giant meltdown that scared poor Rinna. Since Rinna was the big spoon that stirred that pot, her relationship with Kyle broke down as a result.
“Uh, well, we had sort of a falling out last season with what happened with my sister, so obviously, that changed a lot of things,” Kyle said. Thankfully Kyle did remember her manners when Rinna was axed, so they have been in contact. “I haven’t seen her, but we’ve sent each other text messages and DMs,” she added.
Kyle shared she doesn’t like to cling to the bad energy in life, which is probably easier when you still have a job. “I don’t like to hold onto any negativity. I just want to move on from that,” she shared. But it sounds like ‘ole Kathy might still be hanging on to some negativity. That said, Kyle has hope.
“Well, we’re family. You know, it’s happened before, and we’ve fixed things,” Kyle continued. Sure it’s happened before, but has Kathy ever had her reputation called out on national television before? At this point, Kathy isn’t even filming for RHOBH and Kyle’s other sister Kim Richards was pulled for duty.
Kathy and Rinna’s dispute found Kathy receiving love from the masses after saying Rinna identifies as Hollywood’s biggest bully. Kathy also issued an ultimatum saying she would not return if Rinna and Erika Jayne stuck around. So technically we don’t know if Kathy’s absence is because EJ is still kicking or she’s just sick of Kyle. At any rate, Kathy denied all accusations of saying mean stuff about Kyle and Kyle told Rinna to keep Kathy’s name out of her mouth. It was… a lot.
So we’re going in with cautious optimism for Season 13. Rinna and Kathy might not be speaking to Kyle, but it seems Kyle is not not speaking to anyone. We do not currently know if Rinna, Kathy, and Lisa Vanderpump have formed a secret girls’ only club in the wake of the controversy.

He’s hosted dozens and dozens of reunions and always holds it down and gets the goods. Meanwhile, Netflix just had an epic flop when trying to produce a live Love is Blind reunion. So, the Real Housewives executive producer shared his thoughts. As Us Weekly reported, he dished about the magic it takes to craft a perfect reunion and why a live taping should have never been planned in the first place.
Andy chatted about the Love is Blind reunion fiasco during a recent episode of his SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. When dishing on Netflix’s mishap, he didn’t mince his words. “Live reunions are a very bad idea,” Andy explained. “There is a reason we don’t do reunions live.”
Maybe someone at Netflix should have asked Andy for this advice before millions of Love is Blind fans sat in front of their TVs, staring in disappointment because the reunion didn’t air on time. Netflix later blamed the fiasco on technical issues. However, Andy asserted that outside of potential technical difficulties, there are more reasons why a live reunion is just a bad idea.
He explained, “There is a reason [reunion episodes are] edited down. We could talk about a topic on a reunion taping for 25 minutes, for 45 minutes before really getting to the heart of something.”
Andy is used to hosting reunions where everyone constantly talks over each other when he’s trying to ask questions. He explained that editing helps production pick out the important moments from the sitdown that might have otherwise been missed.
Andy continued, “Reunion shows are almost like a fishing expedition. You’re talking about different topics [and] you don’t know what’s going to land [or] what’s going to hit. By the way, a lot of times people will have incredible one-liners that no one in the room really heard because someone on the other side is talking. So we go through the footage, we hone it, we edit it [and it] is finally shaped.”
Ultimately, the Love is Blind reunion failed to deliver anything incredible. Many fans are petitioning for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey to be removed as the hosts. Maybe Andy can take over since he’s such an expert on this stuff. During his radio show, he explained that hosting a reunion is an art.
Andy said, “By the way, you want them to be feeling the most intense feelings that they can about the seasons. That takes time to shape and craft. There’s an art here. You can’t just bang it out and say, ‘OK, we’re doing it from 9:00 to 9:59 and that’s when the reunion’s going to be.'”
He is speaking from a place of expertise, but even he learned this lesson about live reunions the hard way. Back in 2011, the Real Housewives of Miami tried a live reunion. The cast crammed into the Watch What Happens Live clubhouse and talked over each other for 40 minutes straight. That was the first and last time Andy did a live reunion. Let’s hope this is the first and last time Netflix will try it, too.

When I’m not watching the Real Housewives, I’m likely keeping up with them on social media. Between some of our favorite ladies in Thailand to digesting the latest Scandoval news, it can be hard to keep up in real-time. But, when you’re a devoted Bravo fan like me, following along is par for the course. Keep reading to see what you might’ve missed on social media this past week.
Hopefully, you’ve been keeping up with Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. In case you haven’t, what you need to know is Gizelle Bryant, and Porsha Williams are WORKING. Sure, most viewers are upset because of their feud with Leah McSweeney and Candiace Dillard Bassett, but hello… is that not why we watch? In my mind, this is classic Housewives. Gizelle putting on a show about her missing bottle of Clase Azul, whether produced or not, had me on the edge of my seat. However, her antics didn’t sit well with the rest of the ladies. Or even the staff.
At the end of episode five, titled “Oh Bottle, Where Art Thou?”, cameras cut to a crying Pepsi as he struggled to locate Gizelle’s missing bottle of tequila. The next day, when he shared his displeasure with the other ladies, Gizelle and Porsha made it clear they were NOT apologizing for fighting. Of course, once fans saw this clip, they started coming for Gizzy — hard, too.
But Pepsi posted a new update on his Instagram and told everyone that he and green-eyed-bandit #1 are A-OK. At the end of his post, he signed off with, “Love you.3000.” Now, I’m not sure what the 3000 reference means, but from the looks of it, Pepsi has some fond memories with Gizelle and the other ladies. Gizelle even commented herself, adding, “Love you Pepsi!”
After attempting to escape the drama surrounding his salacious affair with Raquel Leviss, Tom Sandoval from Vanderpump Rules let loose on Mirval Arizona Resort & Spa after they hinted at his stay on their Instagram.
“I’m beyond disappointed in Mirval Resorts and their decision to post to their Instagram account this past weekend alluding to me staying there this week,” he wrote in his IG stories, captured by Queens of Bravo.
“They claim to be a refuge for wellness and betterment, but that is obviously false,” he continued. “They’d rather feed into the negativity and spectacle that has engulfed my life.”
Remember Tom — no one made you cheat. You brought this upon yourself. Now, you must pay the price. Oh, and no one feels sorry for you. Well, maybe, except for Tom Schwartz. However, his judgment skills are questionable, too. Perhaps that’s why they’re real-life besties.
Do you all remember Bille Lee from VPR Season 6? Well, she’s back in the mix. Kind of. Recently, she made headlines as she was spotted stepping out with Tom Scando Sandoval several times over the weekend. And to no one’s surprise, Ariana Madix fans are in an uproar. Rightfully so.
An online user posted an interesting take shared by the popular Instagram account, Comments By Bravo, questioning Billie’s motives. After being reportedly fired from VPR following her 10-episode run, Ariana was the only Pump Rules cast member by Billie’s side—often defending her from vicious trolls on social media. And this is how she repays her? Got it.
But it’s not just the fans coming for Billie—try a heated Kristen Doute, too. After calling her out for crying alongside Ariana about Tom’s unforgivable affair, Billie responded with a statement.

Not only has she provided us with some memorable television moments, but some iconic fashion looks over the years. Ramona stepped onto the reality TV scene looking like she was made to be in front of the cameras. This classic look screams New York City lady. A fur jacket was the perfect remedy to the cold that often blasts down the city streets. The shiny bronze dress worn under the fur pops against the cobbles of the city. Completing the look with the long heels, Ramona instantly proved that she knew how to throw an exciting outfit together. And she wasn’t done there.
Ramona is no stranger to gala dinners. So it’s no surprise that she knows exactly what to wear in order to stand out from the crowd. Here, she has opted to upgrade to gold. A fitting choice for the self-described icon of New York. The pattern on the dress here gives a message that it is clinging to a woman’s shape who comes from money. Ramona is rich, everybody, and she isn’t afraid to flaunt that wealth! Some may call it overkill, but you cannot deny the sense of style.
The dress Ramona wears here looks purple from some angles, and sapphire blue from others. It’s a truly magical number and one that really lets her shine. The choice to pair it with silver heels was a brave one, but it has paid off. From the painted nails to the simple accessories, and of course the glamorous earrings, Ramona has put together another knockout ensemble. Five seasons into Real Housewives, it would be hard to keep these fashion wins coming, but she has done it with a smile!
Simple. Elegant. Those are the choices made with this stunning and classic outfit. Ramona probably wasn’t going to take anybody for a ride on the Ramona-coaster in these clothes. Instead, she seems ready for a relaxed rest of the day. Once she’s got off the red carpet, of course. Ramona keeps it simple again with her accessories and has gone for a black and white color combination on the heels, with multiple straps. Not mind-blowing, but that’s not what Ramona needs to do.
If there’s a New York City housewife who knows how to wear a patterned dress, it’s Ramona. She proves that exact sentiment here, in this black piece that stole the show at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2016. When you’re surrounded by countless famous faces, you have to make an effort to stand out. Ramona does that with this look, without trying too hard. The devil’s in the details, and Ramona shows she knows exactly what she’s doing, as she matched the blue of her bag to the polish she painted on her nails.
Ramona doesn’t let her age define the clothes she wears, and that is something to be celebrated. While a lot of Real Housewives would opt for simpler clothes that don’t make as much of an impact in front of the camera, Ramona decides to go all out whenever she is given the opportunity. The lace woven throughout this outfit gives off an air of sultriness, but also innocence, grace, and dignity. Wearing black and white from head to toe was a great choice, and those heels are to die for.
There have been some incredible looks at the Real Housewives of New York City reunions across the years. The one New York City star we can always count on to bring the fashion is Ramona. This golden gown was her most memorable reunion look. When she wasn’t caught up in the dramas that a reunion can bring, she was shining on the stage. It’s hard to stay angry at someone who looks so good, so perhaps that was Ramona’s strategy going into this one. Drama does seem to follow her around.

You would have to be the biggest of all super fans to know how many times Ramona has appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. Looking back at her many appearances, this look that Ramona wore on WWHL stands out among the crowd. Despite pink looking absolutely ravishing on her, it’s not a color that Ramona wears often. The gown has some intricate patterns and design features. It’s clear that Ramona has let her hair down in choosing this outfit, and we’re grateful to her for that.
This platinum princess knows exactly how to capture the attention of photographers at any high-profile event. Ramona attends the 2022 Angel Ball here in New York City, and looked the part. If you saw this picture and didn’t know who Ramona was, you would be forgiven for thinking she had been plucked out of Hollywood. This is a glittering sequined gown that reeks of femininity. From her makeup to her earrings, to the shining silver handbag, there’s not a thing wrong with this fashion moment.
