New Vanderpump Rules Star Max Boyens Apologizes For Saying “N Word” After Racist Tweets Resurface

Up until now, the biggest problem Vanderpump Rules had with Max Boyens was trying to tell him and Brett Caprioni apart. They both have some Scheana Marie-related drama and they look so similar.

Well, now Max may be known as “the one with the racist tweets.” What is going on at Bravo lately? First LeeAnne Locken with the “Mexican” comments. Then a video resurfaced of Brandi Redmond mocking Asians. Now, Max’s tweets from 2012 have resurfaced and he dropped the n-word. A lot.

People reported (with screenshots) that Max previously tweeted, “It upsets me that the word n— is not allowed to be said unless you are black because quite honestly it’s my favorite word.”

In 2012, Max tweeted, “Something about Asians that just makes me want to punch them in the suck hole.” Oh, no. Not OK.

In another 2012 tweet, Max shared, “Theres this girl I see everyday @ school, she looks just like the girl from the movie precious & I’m not just saying this cuz she’s big and black.”

Max apologized for his posts in a statement he shared with Page Six. He told the publication, “I want to sincerely apologize for what I tweeted in 2012 — it was wrong on every level. It is not a representation of who I am. I am shocked I ever tweeted that — and I am disgusted and embarrassed — I am truly sorry.”

Vanderpump Rules Season 8 has already finished filming except for the reunion episodes, so this probably won’t be a storyline. But, will it be addressed during the reunion? If not, it’s bound to come up again on Watch What Happens Live when one of the 19,333,535 Vanderpump Rules cast members appears throughout the season.

Will the resurfaced tweets affect Max’s role on the show or his job at Tom Tom? We shall see, but let’s just hope that this trend doesn’t continue among the Bravolebrities, or anyone else for that matter. It is not OK.

Kristen Doute Says Scheana Marie & Ariana Madix Aren’t Invited To Stassi Schroeder & Beau Clark’s Wedding

Unlike most other reality TV shows, the Vanderpump Rules crew actually does hang out when the cameras aren’t rolling. It’s not like the Real Housewives shows when they take a big break and spend the first two episodes of every season “catching up.”

The Vanderpump Rules socializing and the Vanderpump Rules drama go all year round. That’s why it’s so sad that Kristen Doute is on the outs with Stassi Schroeder and Katie Maloney. Kristen is the one who introduced Stassi and her now-fiancé Beau Clark, yet she wasn’t there when they celebrated the proposal. Stassi’s frienemies (at best) Scheana Marie and Ariana Madix were at the post-proposal celebration at Lisa Vanderpump’s mansion, but Kristen wasn’t. Stassi’s mom Dayna Schroeder confirmed a rift between Kristen and Stassi soon after the proposal, but nothing has really changed. Kristen also wasn’t invited to the formal engagement party a few weeks later. That really has to sting.

In an interview for People TV, Daryn Carp asked Kristen where Ariana falls in the feud with Katie and Stassi. Daryn pointed out, “She’s had trouble with Stassi in the past. They’ve had problems.” And weirdly enough, after so many years of issues, Kristen and Ariana are actually great friends these days. And, yes, I’m still bitter this wasn’t highlighted on the show while it was happening. Major hole in the plot here.

Anyway, Kristen shared, “From what I’m witnessing, a lot of the girls are in Park City right now and Ariana and Scheana weren’t invited.” Katie, Stassi, Lala Kent, and Brittany Cartwright are all in Utah. Seemingly, Ariana and Scheana found out about the girls trip via Twitter. Ariana told a fan, “[I] don’t know anything about this!” and Scheana piped in with “Sames …” You can’t invite everyone to everything, but ouch.

Kristen continued, “I’m hearing that they’re also not invited to Stassi’s wedding and they weren’t invited to her engagement party. So, I wasn’t the only one.” Everyone who watches this show knows that the dynamics are constantly changing. These people can go from being enemies to best friends mid-reunion taping.

Daryn also asked Kristen, “Is there a world in which Tom Sandoval would be invited and Ariana wouldn’t be invited?” Did she not the see preview for next week’s episode with Stassi SCREAMING at Sandoval in Tom Tom?

Kristen told Daryn, “No, I don’t think so.  If anything, I think they would invite Ariana over Tom.” And, yes, as ridiculous as that is, we have seen people on this show invite one person from a couple and not the other to an event. Tom Schwartz went to Scheana’s birthday (the one where Faith Stowers revealed she had sex with Jax Taylor) even though she was on the outs with his wife Katie. Conventional boundaries do not apply in this group

Ashley Jacobs On Kathryn Dennis & Thomas Ravenel Hanging Out: “Toxic Attracts Toxic”

Are the cameras rolling for Southern Charm Season 7? God, I hope so. I just need to know what’s really going on with Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel. No, I don’t want Thomas back on my TV screen, but I would like some explanation from Kathryn about their kids-free hangouts.

How did they go from solely seeing each other in the courtroom to hanging out and posting photos together? That’s great for co-parenting, but is that all? Is there more between the two exes? Thomas’s infamous ex Ashley Jacobs shared her thoughts on the possible rekindling.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Ashley said she reached out to Thomas to “kind of poke fun” at the speculation surrounding him and Kathryn. Specifically, Ashley shared, “I took a screenshot of [the news] and I sent it to him. I said, ‘Congratulations.’ And he has not responded.” Well, why would he?

Ashley elaborated, “My only thought is, if it’s for the children, then great, you know.” That’s not all Ashley had to say though. If the exes are hanging out and it’s not for their children, she doesn’t have faith that a romantic relationship would work out.

Ashley began, “I will never understand. I think, you know, you never realize how toxic something is until you walk away from it — or meet someone who’s emotionally stable — and I’m all about healthy relationships from here on out.” Oh, Ashley. You were a part of that toxicity as well. Let’s not kid ourselves, girl.

The Southern Charm villain alum declared, “I guess toxic attracts toxic.” Ah, yes. That’s why Ashley and Thomas were together for so long.

She continued to go in with the shade: “I think that they’re the only ones that are ever going to be able to see … I think that’s the best they’re ever going to get.”

Alexis Bellino Responds To Shade About Her Makeout Sessions On Below Deck

Is anyone else exhausted from this season of Below Deck? From chef drama with Kevin Dobson to the toxic “Bru Crew” trio of Ashton Pienaar, Tanner Sterback and Brian de Saint Pern, I feel like I have been working a long charter season myself. When loose-cannon Rhylee Gerber is the most likeable person on the deck crew, you know you have personnel problems.

This week, Real Housewives of Orange County alum Alexis Bellino showed up on Below Deck with her boyfriend Andy Bohn in a Bravo crossover move. Admittedly, I was expecting Alexis to be up to her old diva ways. Surprisingly, that hasn’t happened (yet!) as Alexis has been too busy engaging in some serious affection with her man. Kate Chastain and Courtney Skippon made it clear that they were not fans of Alexis’ excessive PDA. Not surprisingly, Alexis had something to say about it on social media.

In a Twitter post, Alexis stated, “Pot calling the kettle black???? Kissing shouldn’t be judged or ridiculed, especially if you are doing it too @kate_chastain and @courtneyskippon !!!! Fun times. We enjoyed every minute on the Valor! Thank y’all! @belowdeckbravo.”

Alexis has obviously watched this season of Below Deck, as Courtney has been romancing with Brian and Kate has had an odd flirtation with boy/man-about-the-boat Tanner. Their behavior is a little different than Alexis making out with Andy in front of strangers like spring breakers, but she has a point–in an Alexis kind of way.

Of course, Alexis had more to say, posting, “TheREAL: 72 total hrs total on the Valor yacht. 5 min total of airtime that u see from that 72 hrs. 7 seconds total of kissing recorded. Several excursions, activities, meals, naps, pools, FUN that you didn’t see. I’ll be showing THAT footage from the Yacht!!! It was a blast! #Luvthecrew.”

If we really only saw five minutes of airtime with Alexis, why did it feel like we watched five hours of kissing time? I won’t quibble with her statistics, however. I don’t think anyone ever wins an argument with Alexis with facts or logic.

In a follow up Twitter post, Alexis added, “We tired after this excursion, yet so thankful for Phi Phi Island tour @belowdeckbravo (and we ain’t kissing, hmm? ) Thx @jakebarrena for your video skills and capturing the REAL!!!!! Many more videos and real behind the scenes coming this week!!!”

Alexis shared a brief video in this post in which she and her man were not kissing–I guess that clears it all up. Advantage, Bellino! I can’t imagine what we would need to see that isn’t already shown on Below Deck, but I will give Alexis her moment in the scorching Thai sun. A sparkling new divorcee is deserving of some me-me-me time.

So, were Courtney and Kate offended by any of Alexis’ comments? A supportive Courtney took to Twitter and posted, “Not sayin’ I blame you for one second.” As Courtney had just hit a rough patch with Brian, it couldn’t have been fun to watch a couple actively engaging in affection with each other. OK–Alexis engaged in affection and Andy looking like he wanted to hide under the nearest deck chair.

Kate is also feeling Alexis amore, posting, “you were one of my favorite charter guests this season! You two make a gorgeous couple.” Considering how Kate feels about many of the charter guests, this is an absolute love fest for Alexis and Andy. Need any bridesmaids, Alexis? Kate would probably love to oblige!

The real drama will continue behind the scenes for the rest of the season with the at-odds yachties. I am crossing my fingers there will be a reunion as I am eager to see how the Bru Crew defends their questionable behavior towards the female crew members. And let’s add Kevin to that dodgy Bru Crew interrogation, too.
