During last night’s episode of Married to Medicine, the group concluded the Cabo trip. While everyone has fun in the sun, drama rears its ugly little head. Jackie and Buffie have another combative moment.
In Cabo San Lucas, the group participates in a wife swap on the beach! Heavenly Kimes is still angry at Damon Kimes for going to the strip club. Contessa Metcalfe and Scott Metcalfe put on a brave face for the group, but their marriage issues are still apparent. Back in Atlanta, Quad Webb-Lunceford’s divorce proceedings are closer to the finish line. Let’s get straight into the Married to Medicine recap!
When the ladies ask the men about their night at the strip club, you can hear a pin drop because it gets so quiet. It’s obvious Heavenly is still upset about Damon’s involvement in stripper gate. Toya Bush-Harris isn’t worried in the least bit about Eugene Harris because no one has her butt. Simone Whitmore contacts a foundation for the group to give free check-ups.
Later, the cast completes a wife swap activity. This should be good considering this group! Quad and Aydin Huq are paired. Damon and Mariah Huq become a couple as well as Cecil Whitmore and Heavenly. Each pair has to be back to back and get a ball to the finish line. Mariah and Damon win first place. At lunch, Contessa tells everyone that she went to a swingers club by accident. Hmm… are we learning about a freakier side of the usually uptight Contessa?
Everyone parties to celebrate the Day of the Dead. They go all out and get their faces painted, except for Cecil and Damon. At dinner, Simone surprises Cecil with a love letter and the two share an emotional moment. When Simone asks people what they want to leave and what they want to resurrect, Buffie Purselle says she wants to leave pettiness behind. She wants to resurrect empathy. The shade is real!
It’s clear that comment was directed straight at Jackie. Jackie gets defensive and wants to leave toxic friendships, but take home authentic friendships. Chile, these women know they can hold a grudge. This whole situation makes it clear that Jackie isn’t as nice as she pretends to be.
When Quad returns to Atlanta, her lawyer comes over with paperwork to finalize the divorce. She becomes emotional when she realizes it will be the last time she signs her name as Quad Webb-Lunceford. She will be completely divorced after their last hearing. I am not buying Quad’s dramatics. I don’t think she ever really loved her ex-husband. In my opinion, he was only a means to an end.
Jackie is running late to meet Curtis Berry to look at custom kitchen ideas. When she arrives, he tells her she’s starting to make him less of a priority. Jackie is surprised he feels this way because she included him in all the home and work projects that she has been working on. Curtis will never change. He wants to reap the benefits of Jackie’s hard work and control their marriage. After his cheating scandal, Jackie should have left him in the dust.
A therapist pays a visit to Contessa and Scott’s home. It’s not long before things go left. Scott tells Contessa she should go back to school if she resents quitting. Contessa believes Scott turned the kids against her by telling them that she didn’t have to go to school in Tennessee. He claims that is untrue, but footage is shown of him telling the kids that Contessa likes to drag people places.
She dragged him to Atlanta and he is happy she didn’t drag them to Nashville with her. Sigh! Although I think this couple needs therapy. If they don’t let some of these issues go, their marriage is doomed.

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance definitely helped us fill in some gaps about some of these relationships! We learned some key details that only led me to believe that most of these 90 Day Fiance couples are doomed. I know most of these people don’t want to be alone, but geez, there has to be a better way.
Syngin Colchester prepares for a month without Tania Maduro. Anna Campisi worries about her children’s relationship with Mursel Mistanoglu. Blake and Jasmin‘s living situation changes unexpectedly. Michael and Juliana discuss their financial future. Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi are back. Let’s get straight into the recap!
Anna has decided to move forward with this shit show of a wedding. Now that her children know they are being kept Mursel’s dirty little secret, they have very little respect for him. I find it shocking that Anna can’t comprehend why her sons are so resentful of Mursel. Hell, I am an adult and if I was kept a secret, I wouldn’t want to be around him either.
Things come to a head when Anna takes Mursel and her sons to get fitted for their tuxedos. Mursel confronts Anna’s oldest son about his treatment of him. I must admit at times I do feel sorry for Mursel, especially since he can barely communicate with anyone. But I feel even more sorry for the children who have to witness their mother marry someone who doesn’t fully accept them. Despite his religious background and culture, the children only understand they are a secret. It’s clear the kids aren’t fans of their potential step-dad and want him to return to Turkey as soon as possible.
Anna takes her kids to the park to discuss her relationship with Mursel. Her youngest son worries that Mursel will leave. Meanwhile, the two oldest hope that he does. This is a really sad situation. Anna is fighting for a relationship that she isn’t even sure of herself. Let’s be real, she hasn’t had a full conversation of any substance with Mursel since he arrived. If bees are the only thing holding this relationship together, then they are in for a rude awakening.
Michael and Angela are back in all of their insane glory. You may remember this couple from other 90 Day Fiance franchise appearances. But, this time Angela has a fewer wrinkles after getting a ton of Botox injected in her face. She is in wedding mode while Michael prepares for his visa interview.
Michael visits his uncle and aunt’s house to visit the children in his family and talk about his upcoming move. He then visits with friends from the United States to get advice on what to expect living there.
I’m sure when Angela hears there were women at this meeting that she will call off the wedding. Angela’s age and her ability to have children becomes a topic of conversation. I can just see the steam rising from her ears when she sees this footage. If anyone knows Angela, she wants COMPLETE control of Michael and all of his time.
Syngin and Tania have lunch with her mother and discuss her upcoming trip to Costa Rica. He will basically be her mother’s handyman while she is gone. I finally see where Tania gets her demanding demeanor. Tania’s mother speaks to Syngin as if he was a 16-year-old boy while covering her expectations.
As Tania prepares to leave, Syngin realizes he will be living in that shed all alone with no friends or family. Tania is sad to leave, but she isn’t going to let her fiancé stop her from a trip of a lifetime. Oh, Tania.
Although Syngin is being supportive, I think this decision will ultimately affect their relationship. Tania even dares to call Syngin “clingy.” Does this woman not realize that he left everything he knew and loved behind for her? Of course, he is going to want to talk and be around you when there isn’t much else he can do until he is allowed to work. The two share an emotional goodbye and Syngin gives Tania a gift to remember him by.
Emily and Sasha prepare for their trip to America. Sasha has packed little to nothing and doesn’t seem excited at all. Emily may want to get ready to be ex-wife number three. Who moves to a new country with only a few outfits? Sasha clearly always has an exit strategy with women.
Emily is ready to tear her hair out because she is so nervous about her family’s journey to America. Sasha’s parents make everyone sit before the trip, so the spirits don’t get upset. They may need to worry more about their son’s “love them and leave them” spirit. Sasha cries as he says goodbye to his parents and his country.
Blake takes his blow up doll Jasmin to meet his parents and show her new living situation. Shortly after they arrive, his parents drop a huge bomb on them. Due to their religious beliefs, they will not allow Jasmin and Blake to live together under their roof. Not only can they not live together, Blake can’t even be in the apartment with his fiancée unless his parents are there.
I think the only reason that Jasmin cares is because she doesn’t really know his parents and will be forced to interact with them. She probably is relieved that she won’t have to endure Blake every day and NIGHT. I have no idea what he sees in this woman. She has the personality of a robot. She literally has zero interest in getting to know his friends or family.
Michael wants to give Juliana the wedding of her dreams and seeks out the help of a wedding planner. During the consultation, we learn that Juliana has actually been married before.
Michael is going to go bankrupt trying to impress this woman. He is quoted $50,000 to $100,000 for 40 people and doesn’t blink an eye. They better go to the justice of the peace and call it a day. Juliana grew up poor. I doubt she will complain if they have a more low key wedding. Spending that type of money for someone you have to marry within 90 days just seems ridiculous to me.
Michael’s ex-wife/best friend, Sara, inquires about the wedding and even offers to officiate the wedding. Umm… no, you are doing way too much, girl. Michael actually thinks it’s a good idea. When he asks Juliana she quickly says “no.”
Sara goes even further when she asks about whether Michael plans to have a prenuptial agreement. Why he would have this conversation in front of his ex-wife is beyond me. Juliana is completely confused and suggests they talk about it later. Chile, please Michael’s ex knows exactly what she is doing. She drops a bomb and politely leaves as it’s about to explode. This woman is no amateur!
TELL US- DO YOU THINK MICHAEL AND JULIANA SHOULD GET A PRENUP? HOW LONG DO YOU THINK JASMIN WILL BE ABLE TO LIVE WITH BLAKE’S RELIGIOUS PARENTS? IS TANIA MAKING A MISTAKE LEAVING SYNGIN FOR A MONTH? DO YOU THINK ANNA IS DISREGARDING HER CHILDREN’S FEELINGS? DO YOU THINK SASHA WILL BE HAPPY WITH EMILY IN THE AMERICA?

Award season is back! The nominees for the 2020 Golden Globes have been revealed! With just under one month to go until the ceremony, the nominations for the upcoming 77th Annual Golden...Reality TV and documentary shows and specials premiering this week include one more holiday baking competition, plus car shows and several holiday specials.
Last night’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta officially brought the show back to its glory days, and surprisingly it is Porsha Williams and Kandi Burruss who are stealing the show! At least for me anyway…
Ever since Mama Joyce disappeared into the streets, Kandi’s personal storylines have been as exciting as watching Kaela and Todd talk/not-talk paint dry at OLG restaurants. Instead, Kandi has emerged as a sort of omnipotent narrator. A centrist who’s not going be anyone’s ally or enemy. Case in point, she meets Nene Leakes for lunch and has no problem questioning NeNe’s behavior in a way that is direct, but not confrontational.
Kandi is suspicious of NeNe’s invitation from the get-go. The last time they came face to face was at the reunion, where NeNe basically called her irrelevant. But, now, NeNe has been seeing a crisis PR manager life coach. She is reformed so she’s trying to rebuild her career friendships. Basically, if no one on the actual cast will film with her, she has no place in the show. Which honestly that is why NeNe shouldn’t be ON the show.
Over lunch, NeNe tells Kandi she wants to move forward with everyone, except for Cynthia Bailey. When Kandi calls NeNe out for the shady interview she did calling Cynthia “weak” NeNe insists it was justified because Cynthia did many nasty interviews about her. Plus, NeNe has receipts in the form of a secret recording made by a mutual friend where Cynthia is apparently trashing NeNe.
NeNe won’t say who this so-called friend is (production), what is being said, or how she came into possession of it. Nor do we get to hear it. Honestly, this is ridiculous! So the issue is that Cynthia was venting to a friend – privately, outside of cameras – and said some nasty stuff about NeNe? While that isn’t necessarily nice, it’s hardly like trashing someone publicly and it’s something we’ve alllll done – especially NeNe! It is actually farfarfarfar worse that someone Cynthia considered a friend took advantage of her trust and secretly recorded her, then shared it!
The next day, Kandi meets Cynthia and Kenya Moore at a hardware store because we’re expected to believe Cynthia is building a closet for Mike Hill. I know they’re #CHill, but I assume Mike wants the closet to be standing and not collapsing on him before he proposes? Also, Cynthia plans to wallpaper it with photos of her own face just in case he forgets that she’s the love of his life.
Also, what the hell do Kandi and Kenya know about home repairs? Kandi hasn’t even taught her kid to clean a shower and Kenya’s house is sinking into the crater created by Chateau Sheree‘s never-ending basement and sewer needs.
Right near the hatchet section – apt – Kandi informs Cynthia about the secret recording. Instead of being pressed, Cynthia acts like she simply doesn’t care. Now, when Cynthia is actually confronted with these receipts I think she’ll be singing a different tune. But, for now, she is unbothered by what NeNe thinks of her or her actions, or what she supposedly said. Cynthia does, however, suspect Yovanna Momplaisir or Marlo Hampton of being the secret agent, and I agree.
Meanwhile, Tanya Sam takes Porsha to get some manufactured abs. Apparently, if you hook up to some machine for a few minutes it sucks everything in and makes it look like you’ve done a million crunches. Post-baby, and especially post-Dennis McKinley, Porsha is ready to get her best life. Not to meet a man, but to feel better about herself. Good for her!
While Porsha is getting her organs vacuum sealed and souvee’d, Tanya decides they should all go on a reuniting group trip! Tanya disappears from the office and reappears a few minutes later wearing feathers and a sequined bra top because the ladies are all headed to Carnivale… in Toronto. Nope, not Brazil – Canada. Apparently, this is a big deal there. Big enough that Porsha hops off the exam table, forgets all about poaching her fat pouches and starts twerking in her biz-cazsh attire. Now they just have to convince the other women to come along… And they have the perfect event for which to propose this trip: Marlo’s wig launch party.
Marlo decided she’s the next Kim Zolciak by becoming a wig entrepreneur, cause why not? She dubs her collection “HER: Haute, Elegant, Rebel” and invites all the women – even Eva Marcille, who clearly can’t afford good quality faux hair – to her party. Marlo goes out of her way to personally text Eva, promising no drama and beseeching her to come. However, Eva, bless her heart, has something of a spine and is not going to subject herself to more of this fake nonsense.
Kenya also declines the invitation. Which we know isn’t going to be as cut and dry as her not showing up. Even though Porsha doesn’t want to come, knowing NeNe will be in attendance, she is not about to disappoint Marlo. Porsha and NeNe haven’t spoken since NeNe called her fat on social media 6 days after she had PJ. Among other horrible things. And true to form over lunch with Kandi, NeNe went in on Dennis McKinley by accusing him of watching PetCo porn where hot dogs copulate.
Kandi is quick to say she thinks Dennis is a beast, not into beastiality like the blogs claimed. However, NeNe won’t let it go. Where’s her life coach to fix it now?! Could anyone fix that dirty mind and arrogant attitude? Not even Jesus!
Porsha’s plan is to completely ignore NeNe as if she doesn’t exist. When NeNe comes around, making her hellos, Porsha literally turns cheek then goes off in search of the mini hamburgers.
Cynthia knew NeNe and Yovanna would be at the party, so she wears the biggest wig she can find and holds her head up high. NeNe releasing the secret recording isn’t a concern as it turns out. Also, Yovanna actively denies being the culprit when she’s confronted by Kandi (Yovanna is a terrible liar, though).
All of Cynthia and NeNe’s drama is eclipsed when a surprise special guest arrives: It’s Kenya, with a marching band and a huge supply of free samples of her No More Edges product from Kenya Moore Haircare. This is a subliminal message that Marlo has weak edges, and that no one should be wearing wigs to hide their natural deficiencies when they can just have Kenya fix them right up!
Kenya’s products are being sold in Sally Beauty, which unfortunately is in some pretty serious financial distress, so she needs all the advertising and sales she can get. So, why not hijack on Marlo’s wig party? Porsha literally dies and falls on the floor laughing, but immediately calls Kenya out for her nonsense. Tomorrow, Porsha wants to know about edges, but today she is here for the wigs.
Kandi too calls Kenya out on being messy — like she hired a band for this stunt after pretending she wasn’t going to attend. This was not spur of the moment, but calculated shade. Kenya tried to lie and say she had planned to stay home to take Brooklyn to the doctor, but then what? A drummer wearing purple Moore Haircare t-shirts showed up on her doorstep along with several boxes of sample products. It was a sign from the demi-gods, aka Satan, that she had to attend Marlo’s party to spread the message? Anyway, I am glad to see Porsha and Kandi consistently calling Kenya out on her low-down antics this season on Real Housewives of Atlanta. ABOUT TIME is all I can say!
At first, Marlo handled it in stride and cheerfully pretended to welcome Kenya’s products to her event. Porsha is impressed, but when Kenya refused to participate in the party games, Marlo wrenched the cocktail out of her hand and bellowed for security to escort Kenya out. Marlo’s security was asleep in the back or something – or maybe trying on wigs and edge cream, because he never managed to get Kenya.
She actually decided to leave on her own after Marlo started chanting “NO MORE KENYA MOORE!” and tried to convince the guests to do it with her. Marlo even demanded all the other Real Housewives of Atlanta stop interacting with Kenya because they were supposed to be supporting her at HER party. Knowing things were taking a turn for the belligerent, Kenya’s fight or flight response kicked in and she fled. Also – did anyone else think Marlo’s nephews seemed like they were being held hostage?
All of a sudden, in the middle of the drama with Kenya and Marlo, NeNe up and stormed out! Yovanna, her ride or literally die, chases her out to the parking lot and NeNe threatens to beat Yovanna’s ass for touching her car. NeNe announces that she’s too good for Kenya’s nonsense. She will not stoop to being present for an event where this is happening – not even for Marlo!
In fact, it is FOR Marlo that NeNe left. Otherwise, she might have to shove some water, aka Moore Haircare, up Kenya’s ass and cause an even bigger scene. YEAH. RIGHT. In reality, NeNe is pissed because her arrival and the drama that would ensue was supposed to be the MANE attraction (see what I did there). However, Kenya upstaged her.
Kenya leaves the party cackling that she’s a businesswoman and needs to promote her product any chance she gets. Meanwhile, Cynthia tries to make excuses claiming she’s glad Kenya came because it was nice to see her. She is immediately called out by Porsha for even trying to sell that BS. Cynthia knows full and well Kenya was trying to ruin Marlo’s launch to be a bitch. And Porsha is correct!
Furthermore, it’s not pleasant to see that side of Kenya. There is Kenya and Krayonce. Dr. Krayonce, the mad haircare scientist, needs to stay home in her lab perfecting a way to minimize the edges of her horns poking out of her non-wig instead of terrorizing ladies who just want to buy some good hair.

I know that the hyped-up Real Housewives of Atlanta feud is NeNe Leakes vs. Cynthia Bailey. However, I have to be honest: the beef between Kenya Moore and Marlo Hampton is way more entertaining. The two of them are just so shady. They really have no boundaries when it comes to insulting each other.
On tonight’s Real Housewives of Atlanta episode, Marlo hosts an event for her wig line. Of course, has a wig line. Unfortunately, she chose the worst wig in her collection to wear that night. Still, that’s not the stand-out moment from the evening. Kenya barges in with a marching band full of musicians wearing Kenya Moore Haircare logo t-shirts, armed with her products, of course. It is just too ironic that Kenya has a line to take care of natural hair and Marlo has a collection full of fake hair. Their interests are just always on the opposite end of the spectrum, right?
Kenya and Marlo always bring the entertainment, but all roads eventually lead to NeNe on RHOA. NeNe has lunch with Kandi Burruss (how random, right?) and tells her that there’s a recording of Cynthia talking shit about NeNe. She says that a “mutual” friend recorded Cynthia, but she won’t say who. For the record, my money is on Yovanna “That Bitch” Momplaisir. During last week’s episode, she did go to NeNe’s house and Cynthia’s red/read party. Plus, she’s clearly thirsting for a peach.
In other news, Kandi and Todd Tucker continue to work through their parenting differences. There are just so many dynamics at play here. They each have a daughter from previous relationships. They have a son together. And, at the time, they were expecting a baby girl via surrogate. Now, baby Blaze is here, so I am hoping they were able to get on the same page before her arrival.
In case you were wondering when you will get up for a bathroom or snack break tonight, I have you covered. Eva Marcille’s storyline is that her husband is worried about her working too much during pregnancy. No one cares about Eva’s “work.” Thank you, next. How does Eva have a peach? She is just such a yawn fest with one good read thrown in every twelve episodes.
