Married To Medicine Recap: Revenge Of The Sip And Paint

Last night’s episode of Married to Medicine was very interesting to say the least. The men had their revenge on the ladies after Toya’s scandalous Sip and Paint party. I couldn’t help but find it funny that Hellishly’s “buddy” finally gave her a taste of her own medicine even if it was involuntary.

Contessa Metcalfe and Scott Metcalfe get into a heated argument. Jackie Walters finally apologizes to Buffie Purselle. Quad Webb-Lunceford gets a special girl’s night. Damon Kimes winds up in the doghouse with Heavenly Kimes. Let’s get straight into the Married to Medicine recap!

The Married to Medicine ladies and their husbands are still in Cabo enjoying their trip. Simone Whitmore suggests an honesty game for the group. Sigh! These games never go well. The questions get messy with topics like cheating and a list of issues the group has had in their relationships.  Simone asks if a couple can get through one person working in another state. Scott questions if it’s okay if a spouse yells at another in public. Contessa says that Scott has actually yelled at her in public and she had to walk away.

When Simone asks if a person needs permission to change careers and go back to school, Mariah Huq says that every decision made affects everyone in the household. Contessa thinks there is a double standard for men. She feels women always have to make sacrifices in the relationship. Men aren’t told to put their families first like women.

Damon Kimes would support Heavenly deciding to leave dentistry. When Heavenly says that’s what a man does, Contessa interrupts to say that’s what Damon would do, not all men. Scott chimes in and says that Contessa going back to school complicated things in their household, but he supported her. Contessa gets upset and storms from the table.

Buffie goes to check on Contessa. Scott tells everyone that things could have been simpler if Contessa went to school in Atlanta. Meanwhile, Contessa shares that Scott never brought the kids to visit in Nashville. In an interview, Contessa says she loved being in the Navy, but quit when Scott decided he didn’t want to keep moving around with the kids. Buffie agrees that it’s a double standard, but emphasizes that communication is very important. They have to work on their issues if they want their marriage is going to last. Although there is a double standard, Contessa can’t truly believe constantly uprooting her young children’s lives is a good choice.

Later that night, Simone wants to have a Living Single Night for Quad without the men. Cecil Whitmore takes the guys out to dinner and the strip club. Umm… something tells me that this won’t go over well with some of the ladies.  Before the party, Jackie pulls Buffie to the side to finally admit she was wrong for telling strangers that Buffie is infertile. Although Buffie appreciates the apology, she feels Jackie should have known better. After the way the way Jackie acted when Buffie told her she was hurt by the comments, I wouldn’t have accepted an apology or anything else from her.

At the party, the ladies play Shag, Marry, and Kill. Meanwhile, Cecil and the guys hit the strip club. One stripper gives Damon a lap dance and propositions him for sex. When they get to Quad and ask her who she would marry, Heavenly names the rapper Common. She then adds that Quad already slept with Common. Quad denies that this ever happened. I could see Quad lying about sleeping with Common, but I can’t see a woman like Quad being his type at all.

The guys don’t make it back to the hotel until around 2:30 in the morning. Aydin Huq tells Mariah where they went. Eugene Harris tells Toya all about the stripper giving Damon a lap dance. Damon is woken up by Heavenly asking him where he went the previous night. He admits they went to the strip club. Heavenly is livid when she learns that a stripper was in his lap. Damon reminds her that a stripper grabbed her at Toya’s birthday party.

Heavenly goes to talk to Simone and Jackie. It’s clear she is trying to hide her anger, but eventually admits she doesn’t want any woman touching her man. Maybe Heavenly’s marriage isn’t perfect after all. She seems very insecure for someone who is a self -proclaimed relationship expert.

90 Day Fiance Recap: We Need To Talk

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance didn’t disappoint!  We definitely learned a lot more about the couples and their laundry list of issues. The desperation is real! You have to have just the right amount of optimism delusion to deal with some of these problems in a relationship with people you barely know.

Mike learns more about Natalie‘s past. Anna Campisi wonders if she is making the right decision. Anny worries Robert is still holding on to his exes. Emily doubts Sasha‘s dedication to their new family. Jasmin’s meeting with Blake‘s friends doesn’t go as expected. Tania reveals she’s leaving her fiancé to fend for himself for a month. Let’s get straight into the 90 Day Fiance recap!

Mike, 34 (Seguim, Washington) and Natalie, 35 (Ukraine)

It’s the morning after Mike’s arrival to the Ukraine. He is treated to breakfast and pressure for a baby by Natalie. He jokingly calls out for Natalie’s “mama,” but we all know he was hoping for any way to get out of that conversation. Natalie, you haven’t even been approved for a visa and you are already ready to trap the guy. Mike wants to wait until they are more settled before they have any children.

Natalie takes Mike to meet her best friend who worries Natalie’s heart will be broken again. Mike reveals that although he respects Natalie’s religion, he doesn’t share her belief in God.  Natalie’s friend is concerned they will have issues in the future due to their different views. I’m surprised Natalie is so open to the relationship considering how important religion is to her.

Natalie shows Mike her morning exercise routine and stresses the importance of health. Wow, talk about a hint. Things go from an easy-going jog to a serious training session pretty quickly. When Michael brings up Natalie’s ex-husband, she becomes very upset. In an interview, we discover she left her ex because she wanted to have kids in the future.

Anna, 38 (Bellevue, Nebraska) and Mursel, 38 (Turkey)

Anna is totally overwhelmed by all of the wedding preparations. She attempts to have a conversation with Mursel Mistanoglu about his concerns, to no avail. After some prodding, he admits it bothers him that he has heard the kids calling him “stupid.” Anna reaches her breaking point when she is unable to get anything more out of him. While trying to have a serious conversation, Mursel just laughs at her frustration.

Okay… this is just laughable at this point. Why would anyone want to marry someone they can’t even have a basic conversation with? Anna, girl, it’s time to cut your losses! Even if they have great communication, he still is hiding her children from his family. That alone would be reason enough for me to walk away from the relationship.

Anna goes wedding dress shopping and looks like the total opposite of the blushing bride. She feels pressure to find the perfect dress that she likes, but is also conservative enough for her Muslim fiancé.  After finding her dream dress, Anna breaks down in tears as she contemplates whether she is making a mistake.

She sounds less than convincing while she keeps repeating “he’s the one.” Sigh! This relationship is just wrong on so many levels.  Literally, the only thing holding this relationship together is their love of honey.

Robert, 41 (Winter Park, Florida) and Anny, 30 (Dominican Republic)

 

Anny is not letting go of her issues with Robert keeping pictures of his exes on his social media.  She demands that he erases every photo with him and any other woman. Robert claims he wants his kids to be able to see the pictures one day.

Robert takes Anny for a day of boxing to release their tension. For some reason, the training session becomes pre-marital counseling. Ummm…. Why the hell are they telling this man all of their business? It’s obvious these two are both stubborn. Why can’t they just compromise? He can delete photos off of his social media profiles, but keep the others on his computer if he wants his children to see them one day. Robert, you have four baby mamas, can you really blame Anny for being a little insecure? I would be watching him like a hawk as well!

Robert meets with Bryson’s maternal grandparents about how they treated Anny when they met. The grandparents have several concerns about Anny and actually ask if he is using her as a maid. Ummm… some of the questions may be legitimate, but they are definitely the wrong messengers. They may want to focus on their own daughter who abandoned her son rather than worrying about Robert.

Michael, 41 (Greenwich, Connecticut) and Juliana, 23 (Brazil)

Michael and Juliana go furniture shopping for their new home. Juliana falls in love with an ugly $14,000 couch, but Michael decides to keep looking for something more reasonable.

Juliana thinks Michael is “mean” when it comes to his credit card. Ummm… he can’t be that mean since he allowed her to keep the car she bought within weeks of coming to America. If she thinks Michael is bad, she would think I was a monster! That car would have been returned immediately and she would no longer be an authorized user on my card.

Nonetheless, it seems all of Juliana’s dreams are coming true. Michael has bought them a large house to share. Her old home in Brazil could fit inside one of the rooms.

Emily, 28 (Portland, Oregon) and Sasha, 31 (Russia)

Emily and Sasha have taken the baby home from the hospital. We get to see him grow by the months. Sasha forgot to apply for the baby’s passport when he was born, so they have been forced to wait to go to the U.S., despite already being granted approval for a visa.

During the past 6 months, Emily has grown increasingly frustrated with Sasha’s lack of interest in their child. Ummm…did she forget how easily he left his other kids? Emily is concerned about leaving the baby with Sasha when she looks for a job in America.

Hopefully, she has some family who can check in on the little one. If the man only spends 5 hours a week with his own child, he may go crazy trapped in the house with the baby all day.

Tania, 29 (Colchester, Connecticut) and Syngin, 29 (South Africa)

Tania takes Syngin to meet her extended family. While there, she drops a bomb on everyone.  As if they don’t have enough problems, Tania is reducing their 90-day deadline by a month. She is going to Costa Rica to learn about herbalism.

Sadly, it might actually be a welcome break for poor Syngin. Tania definitely wins the award for team “too much”! I couldn’t imagine living in suca small quarters with her breathing down my back with demands all day.

Blake, 29 (Los Angeles, California) and Jasmin, 27 (Finland)

All I can do is shake my head on this one. Jasmin doesn’t seem into Blake at all. I am getting Caesar Jr. vibes from Blake. It becomes even more apparent when Blake invites his friends to meet Jasmin for the first time at the hotel pool. After barely interacting with his friends, Jasmin excuses herself to go lay down in the room.

In an interview, she says “I’m here to marry Blake, not his friends.” She couldn’t even pretend to be semi-interested. I don’t care what anyone says, this woman is only marrying Blake to get a visa to live in LA with her sister. Wake up, Blake!

Blake takes Jasmin to dinner and tries to discuss her walking out on his friends. Mid-conversation Jasmin basically tells him to shut up. She coldly turns to him and says that she usually doesn’t talk during meals.

Wow, Blake how many hints do you need that this girl is just not into you? He seems to think her blunt demeanor is cultural. I’m sorry, but I am not buying that excuse this time.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta Recap: ShadyQue

Last night the Real Housewives Of Atlanta were read, right and blue when Cynthia Bailey threw her annual “BaileyQue” (for the second consecutive year in a row). Of course, one person was glaringly absent from the guest list, and that would be Nene Leakes!

Since NeNe can’t find anyone else to film with her she has to make amends with her lackey, Marlo Hampton. NeNe has Marlo and her nephews over for lunch (to spill high tea?), and also drags blast from the unfortunate past, Yovanna along. You’ll remember Yovanna as “that bitch” who got super drunk at some weird boob-themed couples dinner and accused Eva Marcille of pretending not to remember her from college.

It turns out NeNe has been using Yovanna to infiltrate Cynthia by sending her to ‘support’ Cynthia’s wine cellar. Cynthia is stupid enough to fall for this and apparently indulged in her own products. Then, she talked shit about NeNe to Yovanna. Yovanna is all too thrilled to run back to Ms. Leakes with the report. NeNe insists this is Classic Cyn-Cyn, who just pretends to be ‘Cynthia’ but is really two-faced and aggressive behind everyone’s backs. How convenient that both Marlo and Yovanna will be at the BaileyQue!

Meanwhile, Kenya Moore meets Porsha Williams at some mommy and me dance class. Kenya wears heels, Porsha twerks, and Porsha has Pilar dressed up like the Chiquita banana girl. Their dance moves are not the only thing out of step, though! After class Kenya confides in Porsha that she hasn’t had sex with Marc Daly in months and Brooklyn shares their bed nightly. Porsha is aghast.

Kandi Burruss continues to remain above the fray and on the sidelines of drama. For last night’s scintillating storyline she moved 16-year-old Riley to an NYC apartment so Riley can intern with Kandi’s attorney. Kandi is shelling out $5,500 per month so Riley and a chaperone can live in a fantastic place. However, Riley still complains that she’ll have to make ice using an ice cube tray. Riley has never seen one. Or a bottle of cleaning spray…

Meanwhile, Kaela, Todd Tucker‘s daughter who is 23 and along for this apartment reveal, gets nothing from her daddy except trips to the strip club. Kandi certainly spoils Riley, but Riley seems like a grounded and sweet kid. Kaela also seems like a nice girl, though.

Cynthia tried to make her party baby-free, but Porsha is still struggling to find a good nanny and things with Dennis McKinley are inconsistent at best. Porsha has her mom, Diane, helping, but she’s also working so everyone is stretched to the limit. Until Porsha can find someone she trusts, if family isn’t available, Pilar goes where she goes.

I’m frankly confused about Kenya’s situation. Marc apparently doesn’t want a nanny around his daughter and doesn’t ever want to be away from her – even though he lives halfway across the country and Kenya appears to have pretty full-time childcare. Yet, Kenya claims Marc makes all the decisions.

The theme of this year’s BaileyQue is “If you don’t wear red, you get read,” but the unofficial them is BABIES!

Kenya asks if she can bring Brooklyn to Cynthia’s party, but Cynthia says no. Kenya is pissy in response. Then Porsha calls to explain that she’s training a new nanny, but doesn’t trust her alone with Pilar yet. Cynthia relents. Then, she calls Kenya back to say Brooklyn is welcome. Unfortunately, it’s too late. Kenya is irritated and snaps that she has it figured out.

Kenya is also pissy with Eva for some reason that makes no sense. She is overreacting about Eva not bringing her kids to the Barbie party and pre-supposing its a judgment against her when really who wants to bring your kids anywhere if you can get someone to watch them? Including Kenya, which is her whole issue with Marc!

In retaliation, Kenya decides to regift a doll Eva gave to Brooklyn by passing it along to Porsha because Kenya doesn’t want its negative energy and insincerity. This is a low-rent version of the Blue Bunny from RHOBH. Giving a baby gift – even to people you don’t particularly know or like – is called being polite. And at least we know Eva’s mother raised her right.

Kandi warns Kenya this is a bad idea. But, when is Kenya ever deterred from being ‘gone with the wind fabulous’?

Eva arrives first to the party and Cynthia admits that Kenya is annoyed over Brooklyn not being included. Eva is not impressed with these ‘over-the-hill’ helicopter mommies who don’t understand the social protocol for parents. I agree — not everyone wants your baby or small child at their ever event and that’s OK. If you can’t find child care, or don’t want to, don’t attend but don’t badger the host about allowing your kid to come (this also goes for Porsha). Also, I say this as a mother of two young kids.

Kenya shows up with gorgeous lobsters and crab, and a stank mood about Eva and Cynthia.

Before Kenya even has time to start with Eva over the doll, drama erupts between Cynthia and Yovanna over what Cynthia supposedly said behind NeNe’s back. According to Cynthia, she was upfront with Yovanna from the jump that she could tell NeNe everything Cynthia said. Oh really?

Then, Porsha finally arrives and this BaileyQue transitions to a baby shower. First Porsha spreads Pilar, plus Lauren and the nanny, all over Cynthia’s living room. Then Tanya Sam hands over a baby gift. So, then Kenya sidles over with the doll. At first, Porsha is excited, then she realizes she’s seen this doll before … When Eva gifted it to Kenya!

To Porsha’s credit, she immediately tells Kenya this shadiness is not OK. She refuses to be complicit in it. Especially since they are just building their friendship and she is in no mood to be dragged into some nonsense like a rag doll over what is essentially a rag doll. Porsha goes outside to tell Eva what’s going on. She decides, right then and there, they’re going to talk it out and squash this.

Well, I don’t know if ‘squashing it’ happened exactly, but there was a lot of interrupting and Eva insisting that whatever Kenya thinks she said about her having bad energy and not trusting her around her kids, isn’t true. Sure enough, the editors roll the tape of Eva explaining you just never know what to expect at a Real Housewives Of Atlanta event so she decided to leave her kids at home. Also, Eva is pregnant. So two small kids, plus being pregnant, plus any potential drama – yeah, definitely not!

Instead of trying to make this about the here and now and take responsibility for never actually going to source, Kenya attempts to bring up some long-dead argument about Eva accusing Cynthia of paying Mike Hill to date her. When Cynthia tries to shut this down, Kenya snaps at her to be quiet. And Cynthia comes right back at her with a no, you be quiet. Like two sisters squabbling over the TV as children.

Kandi is shocked to see Kenya dragging Cynthia in front of everyone, with no respect for her as a grown woman. Agreed. Although this is Cynthia’s own fault. She has created this paradigm, like Marlo said, of befriending strong personalities but allowing them to overrun her so that when Cynthia does have an opinion it is drowned out or silenced. Even her choice of partners fits this mold.

Finally, Marlo shows up with a two-faced wig and all the animus in the world for Eva. Right after Cynthia mentions that Marlo was super positive in NYC in trying to bring her and NeNe together, Marlo starts in on Eva for being fake and living above her means.

Honestly, what is Marlo’s issue with Eva, again? Basically, Marlo started shit with Eva and is mad that Eva won’t take it and can get her right together with a read that is so tight it’s basically ClifNotes. Why does Marlo care about Eva’s finances when the rumor around ATL is that Marlo has many married sugar daddies paying her bills? She needs to sit down in her borrowed Cha-Nel and channel her efforts into getting a job.

The entire thing is so tiresome, even to Eva. She just decides to go home. She only came for the food anyway. When Cynthia returns from walking Eva out she declares that she is too a strong woman and will put any of these bitches in their place … Um, after like, she has 6 glasses of wine and a personal bodyguard, plus a read-writer.

Then it’s time to play Shady Games. There are awards for Best Twerker (Shamea Morton), Shadiest (Marlo) and Best Read (Eva, but she wasn’t here so it went to Kenya by default). Eventually, it’s time for the much exalted “Thirst Trap” award. Kenya nominates Marlo – a solid choice, but Yovanna, speaking as NeNe’s mouthpiece, tries to nominate Tanya. Why is never explained. That’s when Porsha slips the award right where it needs to go – on THAT bitch’s head. Porsha points to Yovanna’s Instagram, where she is drunk grinding to herself, as all the proof of thirst we need.

Finally, Marlo turns these shady Olympics into something positive when Cynthia whips out the “Most Insecure” award. Marlo decides they should all be open about their insecurities – starting with herself. When it comes to Kenya, she admits her insecurity is never finding unconditional love. Then, she won’t elaborate further on why she feels that way. Porsha can sympathize… she knows full well what it feels like to be in a distant marriage (ahem Kordell).

This is all very sad.

Reality TV Star Thanksgiving Photos: Tinsley Mortimer, Kenya Moore, Kathryn Dennis, & More!

Most people celebrated Thanksgiving with their families and significant others. But, get ready for this one: Kenya Moore and her daughter Brooklyn Daly went over to Sheree Whitfield’s house. Yes, you read that correctly. They left Moore Manor for Chateau Sheree. Is this Sheree’s way of trying to weasel her way back onto Real Housewives of Atlanta? If so, I am all for it. I don’t understand why they let her go in the first place. She filmed all of those collect calls with her prison boo and she knows how to read a foe to filth. The campaign for Sheree’s comeback starts now. Or at least it does in my eyes. I just want to know where Marc Daly spent Thanksgiving.

Real Housewives of New York star Tinsley Mortimer used Thanksgiving as an opportunity to show off the $300K engagement ring Scott Kluth gave her on social media.

Southern Charm “villain” Ashley Jacobs spent the day working as a nurse. I guess the reality TV star thing didn’t quite work out. Then again, actually helping people in a hospital is a way better career path. Props to Ashley.

Other reality TV stars also took the time to give back to others on Thanksgiving. Real Housewives of Atlanta “friend” Marlo Hampton volunteered at a food bank. Tanya Sam did a charitable Turkey Trot that morning. Good for her: being physically active on a holiday and doing so for a philanthropic cause.

Vanderpump Rules darling Brittany Cartwright went back to Kentucky for Thanksgiving with the family. RHONY alum Bethenny Frankel and her daughter Bryn Hoppy escaped the fall weather for someplace warm.

Porsha Williams and Dennis McKinley celebrated their first Thanksgiving with daughter Pilar Jhena McKinley. Ashley Darby’s son Dean had his first Thanksgiving too.

NeNe Leakes Finds Out Cynthia Bailey Trash Talked Her On Real Housewives Of Atlanta Tonight

The passive-aggressive feud between NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey continues tonight on a new episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Yovanna “that bitch” Momplaisir (the woman Eva Marcille “didn’t remember” last season) comes to NeNe and Marlo Hampton with some tea about Cynthia. Apparently, Cynthia said it’s a “burden to be friends with NeNe” and that their friendship was toxic, which shocks absolutely no one. And, yes, NeNe is still filming her scenes without any full-time cast members with Marlo. This has to end sooner or later, right? NeNe can’t film the whole season by herself.

Meanwhile, pretty much every other cast member and Marlo gets together at Cynthia’s home for an event. Kenya Moore comes for Eva over those comments Eva made about why she didn’t bring her kids to baby Brooklyn Daly’s party. Before all that, Kenya re-gifted a doll that Eva got for Brooklyn by giving it to Porsha Williams for her daughter PJ. Am I the only one getting flashback to that bunny incident with Kim Richards and Lisa Rinna?

Kenya’s marriage troubles continue. I am all for love, but, I feel like it might be in Kenya’s best interests for this marriage with Marc Daly to fall through. Yes, they announced their split in September, but no one has actually filed for divorce. Kenya wants to work things out, but I don’t.

Kandi Burruss takes her daughter Riley Burruss to New York City for her summer-long internship at a law firm. Apparently, this visit prompts her to worry about how she and her husband Todd Tucker parent differently. In case you forgot, Todd told us a couple episodes ago that he took his daughter to a strip club, which didn’t sit too well with Kandi. Now that Kandi and Todd share a daughter together, they’re going to have to agree when it comes to strip club etiquette those parenting decisions.
