Cynthia Bailey Was Surprised By How Quickly Conflict Escalated Between Porsha Williams & Marlo Hampton

That last Real Housewives of Atlanta episode was so confusing. Were Marlo Hampton and Porsha Williams actually arguing over the size of a doormat? Obviously, the insults escalated after the original exchange about the doormat, but I just don’t understand how it went from zero to one hundred so quickly.

I can’t help but assume that Marlo was on a quest to rile up Porsha to guarantee some camera time, but other than that, I am thrown off by the doormat drama and so was Cynthia Bailey.

In her Bravo blog, Cynthia admitted that she was a little bit out of the loop when it came to the origins of the Porsha and Marlo confrontation. She wrote, “Porsha and Marlo was seated at one end of the table, and I was seated at the opposite end, so I missed a lot of the initial conversation that sparked the commotion. However, when I did catch on to the doormat conversation, and I thought it was silly and funny. Who cares about the size of someone’s doormat?” Apparently Porsha does.

Cynthia added, “I tried to lighten up that moment by jokingly telling Porsha that I know IKEA has larger ones, since according to Marlo, I furnished my entire house with IKEA. LOL! I actually don’t have a doormat, but you know where I will be getting it from when I do get one! I love IKEA.” I’m just waiting for Cynthia to share and IKEA-sponsored Instagram post after someone in corporate catches wind of that episode.

Cynthia confessed, “I was surprised how quickly Porsha and Marlo’s confrontation escalated. Marlo was not letting up, and Porsha wasn’t backing down. That is not a good combination.” No it wasn’t. And as far as TV drama goes, it was just confusing and pointless. It was tough to be entertained by a doormat-induced drama.

Abby Lee Miller Prison Release Delayed

Abby Lee Miller Is Not Getting Out Of Prison As Early As She Expected

Originally, Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller was sentenced to a year and one day in federal prison in July 2017 after she was convicted of bankruptcy fraud.

She was supposed to get released early on February 20, but that did not end up happening and now there’s no word on when she will be back in the dance studio screaming at her students.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jennifer Myers, a prison consultant and coach (this is a job?) explained why Abby’s early release has been delayed and it actually has nothing to do with Abby herself. It’s all about the prison protocols. Basically what happened is they promised more people that they can go to a halfway house than they actually had room for.

The prison consultant said, “Abby got her official out date, it was Feb. 20. She received that piece of paper that told her that and that she would be going to the halfway house in Van Nuys. You have to make those plans in advance. But clearly, the prison went over budget so she could no longer be released.”

Apparently Abby didn’t get any warning about the change in plans and she just found out about it when it didn’t happen. Apparently, “It was a pretty upsetting thing for her over the weekend to not be able to talk to anybody and find out what was happening. It didn’t make any sense. She had her halfway house plan and they just weren’t communicating with her that it wasn’t happening anymore.”

It is likely that Abby will still get an early release, but it’s unclear when that will happen.
