Another day, another reboot. The CW is looking to bring back one of TV's most iconic dramas ever: Dynasty. Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, the masterminds behind Gossip...
It’s not too surprising that Bethenny Frankel’s daughter Bryn Hoppy is not on Real Housewives of New York. Aside from arguing with other Housewives about their personal lives and promoting her brand, most of Bethenny’s life is shielded from the reality show cameras.
I can’t say that I blame Bethenny after she took the exact opposite route with her exposure and had a spin-off show devoted to her short-lived marriage with Jason Hoppy. I mean she took a pregnancy test on camera. She shared an awful lot back in the day and things did not work out the way that she imagined, so I kind of get why she’s trying to be a little more private these days.

Nevertheless, this is a reality show, so it makes me wonder how much of Bethenny’s actual reality we get to see and why she refuses to have her daughter on the show.
I assumed Bethenny couldn’t have Bryn on the show because her ex husband wouldn’t let her, but in a recent interview with People, she cited other reasons for keeping Bryn out of the spotlight.
Bethenny admitted, “My daughter is not on the show for a couple of reasons. A child with a microphone on them, with a mic pack on them, is not really natural. That’s kind of like working. You have to be somewhere and you’ll have a microphone on you and it’s being filmed.”

I do feel like that would be awkward for a child who is that young to comprehend, but there are plenty of Real Housewives kids who grew up in front of the cameras and so it’s a little bit unusual for the franchise.
Then again, there are so many kids who appeared on reality TV and things did not go so well. It’s hard to tell if that has to do with reality TV or if that’s a result of other factors, but Bethenny cites Kate Gosselin and her family as a cautionary tale that she’s trying to stay away from. “But I would say the way that it was with the Gosselins with all those kids that were working, they had to have a tutor around or supervision. That doesn’t sound natural to me.”
Fair enough, but those Gosselin shows were all centered around the kids so they were filmed a lot more. I’m just wondering why never even see Bryn in the background on Real Housewives of New York. I get the point she’s making, but those are really two different types of shows.

At the end of the day, it seems like Bethenny is trying to do what is best for her daughter.
The Skinnygirl founder explained, “I think kids need stability and to feel calm and proud of their home. She’s an amazing, amazing little girl. She’s so happy. She’s not really aware of what’s going on, which is great. I’m proud of that. It’s been by far the most difficult thing I’ve ever been through.”
It’s interesting though how some Housewives really put it all out there and show everything and then there are others who put a lot of effort into controlling their own narrative on the show.

It looks like the BAU may have just found their Hotchkiss replacement. CBS announced that Damon Gupton has joined the cast of Criminal Minds as a series regular in the wake of original...Congratulations are in order! Kim Richards’s daughter Brooke Wiederhorn has given birth to her first child. This means that Kim is officially a grandmother to a baby boy. Brooke and her husband Thayer Wiederhorn welcomed their son Wednesday night at around 11PM.
As of this moment, there is no word on the baby’s name and there are no pics posted on social media, but I’m sure that both will come soon enough. I mean, the baby was just born. I do not blame the family for focusing on more pressing matters.

Even though there are no Instagrams of Brooke’s new baby, I’m wondering if the special occasion was captured by the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cameras. Well, not the actual birth, but maybe the baby’s camera debut will be on the show. I would not be shocked if it was, but then again, Kim‘s status with the show is often unclear, so who knows.

I’m sure more information will be out soon enough and the baby’s face will be all over the famous family’s social media in no time. I just hope Kim’s sisters Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton were all on good terms with each other and were around to celebrate the major life milestone.

After a season of friendship betrayal, cheating scandals, slut-shaming, name calling, meanness, vitriol, and eating disorders, Sonja doesn’t hesitate to call it “dark” and admit it wasn’t her “favorite season” to film.
However, Sonja believes a little ‘Sonja humor’ could have gone a long way to lightened things up. Sonja still blames Dorinda Medley icing her out of the Berkshires trip for sending everything in such a negative direction.”I felt they could have used a little comedic lift,” she laments.

Yes, Sonja is STILL angry about the Berkshires. Actually, she’s furious at Dorinda in general! Sonja describes her former friend as a user, manipulator, and phony!
“Dorinda calls when she wants something, usually invites or to meet somebody. Then she plays this holier-than-thou thing like she wants to protect me, and that was very flimsy,” Sonja accuses. “I’ve been on the show for so long, I don’t need protecting from my friends! She’s the newbie! You can just tell how duplicitous she is because everyone knows I don’t lie.”
Sonja also blames Dorinda for Jules Wainstein having such a hard time, and for Luann de Lesseps getting together with the philandering Tom. Basically, what are you doing here WITH Dorinda (because she’ll ruin your life!) What’s next – is Sonja gonna blame Dorinda for staining her cashmere?!
Dorinda “brought Jules on [to the show] and practically fed that girl to the wolves,” Sonja complains. “And then she wants to act like she’s there to protect her when she brought her on? The whole concept is duplicitous. You can’t act like you are there to protect people, but then you put the girl on who has an eating disorder and a marriage that’s falling apart.”
Is Jules a 30-something adult, or a child? I’m confused there…
“Then you introduce Luann to a huge playboy,” Sonja scoffed to Yahoo Celebrity. “Clearly, if Sonja Morgan is fooling around with him on the down low, he’s not marriage material. Come on.”
Dorinda isn’t the only person facing Sonja’s wrath – Sonja’s friendship with Ramona Singer is kaput, as in no more Ramonja Turtle Time! “I’m not talking to Ramona,” Sonja confirms.
“When we wrapped, I thought we were cool because she reached out to me and wanted to help me, and then I thought she was being duplicitous as well,” continues Sonja. “I saw she was saying s*** about me and Tipsy Girl when she was shooting with Dorinda. Besides, they both wanted in on Tipsy Girl … so that hurt my feelings. But when you lose that trust, that’s hard.”
Sonja isn’t angry with everyone, however. She and Bethenny Frankel have overcome their Tipsy Girl issues and “are cool.”
Also, Sonja’s friendship with Luann is back on track despite initially arguing over Tom. Apparently, Sonja has realized he’s just so not worth it! Sonja assures, “We always are going to be friends. We’re going to be friends the next 35 years.” That friendship is a mainstay in Sonja’s life and one she plans to keep.
“Luann and I have always had issues with guys,” Sonja acknowledges. “Other than these men, Lu and I are very cool. I’m not a judgmental person, and she isn’t either. She really isn’t. She’s sensitive – people call her names, but I don’t. I think we get through everything.” Everything from pirates, to Tom, Dicks, and Harrys…
Getting through everything also includes Sonja supporting Luann’s wedding journey. “She needs to get down that aisle, that’s it. She needs to get the ring on. She needs to get on with the wedding,” Sonja encourages. “I’ll be there. She wants me there too, of course.”
So the $7 million dollar bankrupt question: After such a negative season will Sonja give Real Housewives Of New York another go? Of course! “Yes, I’d come back. If Bravo wants me and it works for me and my kid, I’m back.”
I think Bravo will always want Sonja back…

It’s safe to say that Trevor Walker getting a plane ticket home on this week’s Below Deck was foreseen by all. Well, except maybe Trevor himself! The SENIOR deckhand – recently demoted to regular old deckhand just before his much deserved firing – spoke with Bravo recently about his short, yet insanely offensive stint on the show this season.
Does Trevor have any regrets about his behavior, especially about the hideous final moments that led up to his firing? Not really. He claims, “I don’t have many regrets other than possibly having a bit too much to drink.” Thus, we can assume Trevor has learned zilch, zero, nada after viewing his drunken rants televised. Interesting.

The night before Captain Lee Rosbach handed Trevor his walking papers, Trevor disgustingly lashed out at bosun Kelley Johnson about marines, fallen soldiers, and “PTSD” bosses. Kelley, a former marine, would not let the inebriated Trevor back on the yacht after his outburst. Trevor’s vile behavior was the last straw for Captain Lee, who’d had a watchful eye on him from the beginning.
But Trevor doesn’t seem to have learned any lessons from this whatsoever. He lamely reflects in his Bravo interview, “When Captain Lee let me go, I was just thinking about the next job and where it would be, hoping for it to be better.”
Um, so he could torture, insult, and creep out people elsewhere on the seas? #ToolBag4Life
Trevor has, shockingly, secured a new position in the yachting industry. Since his time on Below Deck, he brags, “I am the bosun of nine crew on a 151′ yacht cruising the the Caribbean and South Pacific.” Yes, out there somewhere, there’s a tortured deck crew whose actual boss is TREVOR.

Well, he may be employable for now, but I have to wonder how Trevor’s now very public behavior will affect his career in the long run. (Karma, can you hear me!?)
In any case, Trevor does admit there’s no love lost between the crew members of BD and him. He delusionally hopes that time will heal all wounds though! “I am not in touch with the crew at all. I don’t think I made the best impression on them, and I hope distance may make things blow over,” he says.
One question: Who told this person he was special too many times as a child? I need names!

Well this is some bad news for fans of Kathryn Dennis! She confirmed that she’s no longer a part of the cast of Southern Charm for season 4.
Kathyrn took to Twitter to announce that she wanted to be a part of the new season, but they weren’t interested. She shared, “Was excited to show the new me on #SouthernCharm but they aren’t interested. I want to thank my fans for EVERYTHING and wish #SC4 luck!”
Kathryn added, “It’s time for me to focus on my kids and myself. This was the best decision for us! No hard feelings. Good luck y’all! #southerncharm.”
Kathryn headed to California this summer and rumor has it was to attend rehab to get herself healthy and back on track. Thomas reportedly took care of their two kids together while she was away.
She shared her love for the fans who’ve had her back since day 1, “THANK YOU to all my fans who’ve supported me through the last 3 seasons. You guys rock. This was the best decision for my children and myself. No hard feelings and good luck to #SouthernCharm!”
This doesn’t come as a big surprise. Kathryn was the break out star of the reality show and had a lot of tension and tiffs with Whitney Sudler-Smith, who is an executive producer on the show and BFF of Thomas Ravenel. I think some didn’t like how Kathryn became the star of the show and maybe she’s right, that they weren’t interested in showing the “new” her.
As much as we’ll miss Kathryn on the show, it’s probably a good decision for her and her two kids to stay away from this toxic mess.

Southern Charm's Kathryn Calhoun Dennis is leaving the show the way she entered it: With a little bit of drama. Kathryn took to Twitter to tell viewers she would not return to the Bravo...In Vicki Gunvalson’s Bravo blog, the Real Housewives of Orange County star talks about Kelly Dodd‘s marriage, Meghan King Edmonds‘ loss, the Kill All Cancer charity, and insurance, lots of insurance.
Vicki gushes over her fabulous life and how she’s persevering after being “knocked down.” She starts off, “As I sit at my desk at Coto Insurance surrounded by stacks of paperwork that you wouldn’t believe, I can’t stop thinking about how fortunate I am of where my life is compared to this same time last year. My insurance agency is growing more than it has ever has, I am in an amazing relationship with my boyfriend Steve, my children and grandchildren are happy and healthy and I have wonderful friends surrounding me. What more could I want. I think every time life knocks you down, it’s a testament on how you recover from it. I think the tough times are definitely needed in our lives, so we appreciate the good times. I was knocked down harder than I have ever been in my life last year, but I know I have grown from it and learned a lot from it as well.”
On Kelly‘s marriage struggles, Vicki says they’ve all been through those ups and downs on camera and it’s not easy, but Kelly and Mike are working through it. “I have spent some time with both Kelly and Mike these past few months, and they will admit it’s been rough, but they love each other and want to make their marriage work. Kelly has been a great friend to me this season and I only want to see her happy.”
On Meghan’s pregnancy, “I had no idea that Meghan was so devastated after finding out she was only pregnant with one child. Many of you have degraded her for being so upset, but to someone who thought they would never have a child, you have to imagine how sad this news could be. I saw on camera like you all did Jim really showing his true emotions and I’m so glad he was there for her when she received this sad news.”
She is thankful that Heather Dubrow had her back, but Shannon Beador is wearing on her nerves. “I’ve heard it from numerous people what I said at the mud spa to be true, and even Heather heard it too and backed me up. Thank you, Heather. The difference between Shannon and I, is I hope she’s happy, I really do but I’m DONE with her continuing her go on her rants about me, my character, and my family. We have one life to live and my mantra is to be the best you can be while living and to be happy. I’m trying my best, but she is testing me.”
