News on the red carpet...Lately, I could not tell if my mind was playing tricks on me, but I couldn’t figure out why Bethenny Frankel looked so different to me these days. Every time I watch Real Housewives of New York, I try to figure out what is going on with her face. I thought that maybe it was just the change up with her short hair cut or that she got a new makeup artist or something, but then I started to look back at some old photos. It was obvious that her jaw looks very different than it used to.
Bethenny‘s jaw used to be a lot more defined than it is now. And Bethenny is always talking about how she keeps it real and she’s already copped to getting breast implants, so I am sort of confused by why she didn’t say why her jaw looks so drastically different. Well, she’s finally come clean about the changes.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, Bethenny finally addressed the speculation about why her face looks like it has changed – spoiler alert: it’s because it has changed. She fessed up, “I do look different. I’ve had Botox in my jaw. You can see that my jaw has completely changed.” Well, yeah. That’s pretty obvious. I’ve never dabbled with the injectables, but I don’t get why someone would get Botox in her jaw of all places.
Bethenny has a weirdly unique explanation for this though: “About three years ago, my dermatologist said to me, why don’t we try injecting your jaw because it’s so tense.” Apparently Bethenny suffers because she grinds and clenches her teeth. I had no idea that dentists could refer patients to try Botox, but maybe things are different if you are a celebrity? I have no idea. It seems like a really strange excuse to me, but Bethenny is usually super upfront, so maybe it is true?

Bethenny admitted that she is happy with the Botox for aesthetic reasons: “I think it’s why I can take a shorter haircut.” Bethenny is adamantly denying going under the knife though, “I have not had invasive plastic surgery, I have not had a nose job.”
I honestly never know what to believe when it comes to these Real Housewives and what they have and have not had done. They are either bragging about their surgeries and tag their doctors in the Instagram post so they can get a discounted (or free) procedure or they are on the other extreme, keeping all of their beauty secrets super private. So it is hard to tell if Bethenny really came clean about everything that she has had done.

We see love! Mike & Molly came to an end after six seasons of love and laugh on Monday, May 16, with a series finale fittingly titled "I See Love." Yes, that means we no...Did the producers of Sister Wives end up with so much extra footage that two hour episodes sounded like a good idea? Are they hoping if they show more of Meri Brown’s catfishing, Nev and Max will suddenly want to collaborate? It’s just too much of a good thing–in this case Kody’s luscious locks–if you ask me.
Kody wants to help Meri feel more love and support, but he’s not sure how to go about it. He believes the therapy session was helpful, but he wants to make sure that the group continues to handle the situation with kindness. Janelle realizes that it’s not enough to tell her that she’s included in the family, they need to show her. Of course, there is other stuff going on with the crew besides the catfishing. Aspyn and Mykelti have come to the end of their year lease, and the sisters are totally over living together. Aspyn is moving back home, but not into Christine’s house because she tends to butt heads with her mother when it comes to how to raise her younger siblings. She’s going to be living at Robyn’s, and Christine admits it will be an adjustment. Mykelti is moving to Utah to work for her dad’s friend as she takes time off from UNLV. College is hard, and she’s not ready to grow up quite yet.

Kody and Janelle’s son Garrison is a rising senior in high school, and he wants to go into the military. He’s already been to see the recruiter, but his parents wish that he’d wait and join the National Guard after college. Garrison believes a good compromise would be enlisting when he turns eighteen even he risks deployment while he’s in college. His older brother Hunter agrees with his folks…Hunter is going to the Naval Academy, and his path with the military will be incredibly different.
If the Browns were all about a theme party last season, this season, it’s just moving and U-Hauls. Mykelti is moving to Utah by herself because she’s gotten a job at a pawn shop. Kody is hoping that this reality check will be just what his daughter needs to come back home in a few months, ready to start back at school. Mykelti is excited about living on her own, so you know she’s not Meri’s child. Speaking of Meri, the producers are capitalizing on her empty nest by making her sit around alone in her house, constantly texting. The catfish drama wasn’t the only secret Meri was keeping from Kody and her sister wives. Her health issues are a big concern for her after her sister passed away from colon cancer. While Meri’s family would probably want to be in the know, she is determined to face it alone. Her doctor has her test results, and everything is normal. Meri chalks up her stomach problems to the stress of being catfished.
It’s Mykelti’s first day on the job,and Kody and Christine pop in to see their daughter. Kody wants to trade his giant Robo-cop watch for a television. Christine freaks out when she learns the watch was a gift from one of his other wives, in this case Robyn. The producers remind Kody that she’ll see this, so he decides to pay cash for the television. He makes a big production over throwing down the bills while he and Christine try to haggle out of not paying sales tax.
After getting his physical for the National Guard, Garrison has asked Janelle to gather the family together for an announcement. He’s in the army, but Kody beats him to the punch with sharing the news. Kody and the wives are extremely proud of Garrison, although they are also terrified at the idea of him getting deployed. Robyn says she wishes she’s hidden his paperwork because, you know, that’s totally something Robyn would do. The next day, a teary Meri confides in the cameraman about how she’s still dealing with the deception and loneliness. She and Janelle are going to counseling to repair their relationship. Janelle hopes that she’ll be able to show Meri she’s on her team.
Janelle, Kody, and Meri’s relationship is highlighted. Janelle and Meri were acquaintances after high school, and Janelle was briefly married to Meri’s sister. Janelle was new to the faith, so she was admittedly clueless. She figured everything would be hunky-dory, but Meri was incredibly jealous. The women’s personalities were so polar opposites. Meri was confrontational and Janelle retreated. When Christine came onto the scene, Janelle describes her as a calming force. Christine served as the go-between and stayed home with Meri, Mariah, and Logan, which allowed Janelle to escape by going back to work. They both describe their relationship as functional but not close. Meri approached Janelle three years ago, but she wasn’t ready to discuss their situation. When a year or so passed and Janelle became ready, Meri wasn’t sure she still wanted it. However, here we are, twenty-plus years and another two-hour episode later, and they are ready to go to therapy together.
But not quite yet…because why else would this episode need to be two hours long if they didn’t drag out every last scenario? First, we have to get through a baby shower for Robyn! Christine is more excited that one should be to be hosting a shower. Here I was, so proud of the Browns for avoiding a party pitfall, but alas, we’ve got another tacky event to witness. Robyn’s niece is also helping throw the shower. She grew up in a plural family and she isn’t opposed to being a sister wife if it’s a strong family dynamic. Christine is freaking out over every little detail, squealing and giggling at the cupcakes and diaper castle in a pitch so high it scared my dog. The guest list is comprised of close friends and neighbors and all of the daughters. The wives all have a wonderful time. They acknowledge that while sometimes a sister wives shower can be awkward since the mom to be got knocked up by their husband, this one was just pure fun and happiness.
The following day, Meri and Janelle head to their therapist, and she suggests reversing roles. Janelle seems to be making a big effort, but Meri seems very defensive. Janelle is aware that she spent a lot of time disengaging because she was intimidated by Meri’s directness. The therapist points out that the women may be opposite, but that means their strengths are different, and therefore complimentary. Both women leave the session feeling incredibly hopeful, and they decide to test their new found relationship by shopping for Thanksgiving decorations together. Meri reveals that she secretly thinks it’s a terrible idea. They are both learning how to communicate and process their thoughts, and had they focused on these things twenty years ago, their relationship would have been vastly different.

Speaking of Thomas, he wonders if Kathryn is sincere or having another of her episodes when she gives him permission to travel to North Carolina, where he gets wild during a night out. Unfortunately the group’s peaceful mountain retreat turns into a volcano of erupting secrets. Friendships are tested and loyalties questioned.
Meanwhile Cameran Eubanks heads to therapy where things don’t go as planned.
Immediately following all those southern fried shenanigans, is Real Housewives Of Dallas. In episode 6, “Locken Loaded,” LeeAnne Locken learns not all friendships will ride shotgun during her frequent trips to Crazy Town.
After LeeAnne and Tiffany Hendra‘s explosive argument, they had a breakthrough about what’s causing their friendship issues! It turns out mutual friend Marie Reyes has been spreading gossip about LeeAnne, who confronts Marie with Tiffany by her side for support.
Stephanie Hollman finds out her diamond bracelet comes with conditions attached when Travis continues to micromanage her and even takes over plans to redecorate their son’s room. Stephanie is not the child, y’all! Brandi Redmond‘s marriage is also having difficulties. When she confronts Bryan about his emotional absence and behavior at her family BBQ, it causes even more tensions and Bryan storms out to avoid her questions!
At least Cary Deuber is happily married! To entice business to their plastic surgery practice, Dr. Mark decides to have Cary model for a sexy photoshoot to feature on their website.

Justin Baldoni isn't necessarily Team Rafael. He might play Jane Villanueva's (Gina Rodriguez) baby daddy (and former boyfriend) on Jane the Virgin, but he's not rooting...There is no way that I am the only one who finds it incredibly hypocritical that Ramona Singer of all people has decided to call some out for partying and embarrassing behavior. I’m not denying that Sonja Morgan likes to party, but I don’t feel like it’s cool for Ramona to talk down to her while filming a Real Housewives of New York episode.
Sonja and Ramona have been partners in crime when it comes to partying on the show, so it is just super weird for Ramona to be such a hater. Plus, if Ramona really did have serious concerns, wouldn’t it be better to talk to a good friend away from the camera crew? Maybe that’s naive of me, but I just don’t see how publicly putting a friend on blast could ever help her out. Well, it looks like Ramona is not done talking about Sonja’s drinking.

Ramona didn’t leave the Sonja bashing to the RHONY episode. Ramona also took to her Bravo blog to voice her concerns about her costar. Ramona claimed, “I have been so there for Sonja for everything, but at some point I have to say my enabling her wasn’t the best thing and now I feel it is time to call her out on her behavior for her own protection.” During a RHONY reunion episode, Ramona herself admitted to pulling away from Sonja to focus on her own divorce, so to say that she’s always been there for Sonja is going against her own words, but anyway….
Ramona also wrote, “I have known Sonja for years. We have been great friends for a long time. When you have close friends and you care about them like a sister, you become concerned about their life choices.” That all makes sense to me, but I don’t think that talking shit about Sonja, ostracizing her, excluding her from events, and lying to Sonja by saying people don’t want her around because of her behavior qualifies Ramona to be considered a “great friend.” Ramona is saying all the right things in this blog, but actions really speak louder than words in this case.
Ramona stated the obvious when she talked about how the cast drinks a shit ton of alcohol: “We all drink socially on and off the show, but when someone is showing a constant lack of control of their own behavior and are not being themselves, it’s time to say something. What do I do when all her friends are noticing it and are now alienating her?” What is Ramona even talking about? I mean this in the least offensive way possible, but what does Ramona mean when she says that Sonja is not being herself. Sonja has been the straw that stirs the drink from the moment she became a Real Housewife. Sonja has always been about partying. Sonja has always talked about her love of partying. So I’m really not seeing any difference in her behavior.
Then Ramona diagnosed Sonja with her own personal judgments when she wrote, “Sonja, at times, doesn’t react well to alcohol. Due to my talk with her, she stopped drinking during our Christmas break and now is back to the Sonja we all love.” I’m not really sure what Ramona is talking about. I’m not condoning alcoholism or making light of substance abuse by any means, but Sonja (like the other RHONY ladies) is a social drinker (until I hear otherwise). I don’t see why it’s so bad for her to get shitfaced and slur on TV, but the other women (Ramona included) can do that and there’s no issue.

It was also weird when Ramona came at Luann de Lesseps during the last RHONY episode for being a “bad influence” on Sonja. I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen Sonja more trashed than when she was best friends with Ramona. Also, I don’t feel like anyone could ever tell Sonja Morgan what to do. She does what she wants when she wants. In her blog, Ramona explained, “Sonja has always told me when Luann is around they stay up to the wee hours of the morning drinking together, and many times when on vacation with them, I’ve had to drag Sonja away from Luann to make sure she would stop and go to sleep. Luann would get angry at me for this, and that’s why I questioned the healthiness of Luann living with Sonja.” It seems to me that Luann and Sonja can handle their alcohol just fine- and at the very least I just don’t think it is at all fair for Ramona to say that she is above them by any means. There have been plenty of times that Ramona has been incoherent on RHONY, but she played that off to be endearing and comedic. I just don’t get the hypocrisy when it comes to her comments to and about Sonja.
Ramona concluded her blog with, “So again, I am just saying how I see it, and it’s difficult at times to express yourself in a politically correct way with certain subjects.” Since when has Ramona ever been concerned with being politically correct? I laughed out loud at that. Personally, it seems like Ramona is pretty sanctimonious and is picking on Sonja to make herself look good. If she was really, truly concerned about Sonja, she would not make several attempts to embarrass her friend on a television show and she would address any perceived problems in private.

NeNe Leakes is one of those reality stars who really thinks that she is above it all. Even though she really has not had success significant enough to shirk off the “reality star” label, NeNe still thinks she is the biggest star on the planet. As such, she has thrown her hat in the ring to give a shot at every entertainment career possible.
So what’s NeNe’s latest job that she’s trying out? Stand up comedy. Sure, she can throw good shade and read a bitch when she’s angry, but I’m not sure if that translates to her being a stand up comedian. And I’m not the only one who is questioning her latest career move. Comedian Luenell recently put NeNe on blast.

I’m all for reality stars exploiting their fame for personal gain, but even I, an admitted reality TV addict, can get skeptical when it comes to them pursuing any legitimate entertainment jobs. I support it when they try to sell message t shirts and alcohol, but it’s tough for me to take any of them seriously as thespian or anything else in that wheelhouse.
To say that Luenell doesn’t take NeNe seriously as a comic would be a major understatement. Luenell went out of her way to screen shot a promotional poster for NeNe’s two night comedy show and decided to go in on the (former?) Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member. After an insanely boring paragraph about how she has paid her dues in the comedy industry including a part where she referred to herself as a member of “a very elite club” (which I personally think is a major stretch in regard to her career), she came for NeNe.
Luenell wrote, “Most of the successful Comics you see on the grind today, touring have been putting in hard work, missing their children’s birthdays, graduations, track meets etc. for years and had to deal w/and work thru the guilt and pain of that on a daily basis. So I just find it Ironic that these days, it seems like any Reality Show celebrity or celebrity of Any type who wants to pop up and call themselves a Comic CAN … but a Comic can’t just pop up and as easily get a Show!” Aside from this being way too detailed for an Instagram caption and suffering through the poor grammar, it just seems like this woman is a total hater. Who cares if NeNe got a comedy gig? It doesn’t take away from whatever she has going on. And if NeNe sucks then this isn’t going to last long anyway, so just let her do her thing. I’m sure if Luenell had the opportunity to skip some steps to get to her current point in her career that she would. Let’s be real here.
Luenell’s insanely lengthy caption wasn’t done. She also wrote, “Anybody can just walk into our profession, grab $$$ and when they get Tired … they just stop and go back to the comfort of television. If I sound salty, it’s because i Am! I am not afraid 2 speak MY truth but believe me, I am Not alone n my thoughts.” For someone who is bragging about having a career based on her speaking ability and a way with words, this Instagram post really isn’t making her look great.
Then I guess Luenell made an attempt to be somewhat nice and refer to NeNe as her “good sister” when she wrote: “I hope my good sister here has a great weekend and a successful run … that is, until she gets bored or tired.” In all honesty, I had no idea that NeNe was trying to be a stand up comic, so now it’s pretty ironic that Luenell is giving this business venture more press than it ever had on its own. If anything, Luenell is helping NeNe sell some tickets to this event and giving her some free PR. Oh the irony. Haters never win and winners never hate.
And you know NeNe, she is always looking for an excuse to clap back and get attention. So of course, she had something to say about Luenell’s comments with an Instagram comment of her own. NeNe came for Luenell when she wrote, “I never said I was a comedian, so be clear about that! I find it ironic that you took the time to comment on the moves I make but you had no problem helping Wendy Williams and you had no problem coming on my show filming with Claudia Jordan.” I’ll never get over NeNe constantly referring to RHOA as “her show,” even though it is an ensemble reality show, she quit the series, and crawled back when she realized that she wasn’t as busy as she claimed to be.
NeNe put the nail in the coffin when she wrote, “If you stop being salty and get out your feelings, you might can start opening up for me … call me, I got a job for you.” She should have just stopped at the part when she talked about Luenell appearing on RHOA because that actually made sense as a comeback.
I hate writing this because I’m just acknowledging two women who are continual attention seekers, but I do love a good cat fight.
