Candiace Dillard Bassett and her fine-looking man, Chris Bassett, are expecting their first (likely) sassy, definitely precious child together. Their exciting announcement arrived a few weeks after Candiace publicly disclosed her exit from the Real Housewives of Potomac series. Starring (and expertly reading her costars for filth) on Seasons 3-8, Candiace was transparent about her IVF journey on RHOP. She also shared that she and Chris went “through with a successful egg retrieval,” resulting in six viable embryos. Candiace is now pregnant and pleased, but underneath her excitement lies one understandable area that still fills her soul with dread, aka the stretch marks demon(s).

Like her or not, one can never deny Candiace’s heightened level of wit. In all situations, both the good and the bad, she had a clap-back on deck, ready to fire at random. Unfortunately, her quips sometimes landed below the belt, causing tensions amongst her cast. After a heated Season 8, Candiace exited stage left, but this does not mean her wit also dropped off and died.
Case in point, check out her recent statement on X, the artist formally known as Twitter. Her copied and pasted post below hysterically references her stretching belly and the marks that are popping up on her skin.
This post reads: “Let me tell you something. I will not be smited [by] the demon of stretch marks in the 11th hour of this pregnancy. My stomach is starting to itch more and more and the enemy will not prosper around my belly button or anywhere else on my body. I rebuke it, OK?! REBUKE!!!”
I love females, sometimes, because the comments that rolled in were all supportive AF. Recommendations of oils, creams, belly masks, and vitamins equally flooded her post because women can (and should) rise to the top to support other women. Even the ones they have never met.

Friendships were repaired and broken again on Season 2 of Real Housewives of Dubai. Caroline Brooks had a falling out with Caroline Stanbury over newbie Taleen Marie. Then Brooks got into it with Taleen because she called her a beggar. And the biggest fallout was between besties Chanel Ayan and Lesa Milan. They were at odds over a little voice note drama and Ayan’s new friendship with Stanbury. To top it off, Taleen and Lesa got into it over Lesa’s spa day. Phew! With only the RHODubai Season 2 finale left, will the ladies be able to make peace with one another? It doesn’t seem likely.
The RHODubai Season 2 finale sneak peek is packed full of drama
In Bravo’s sneak peek, the group meets up for some midmorning champs to wash down the drama from the previous night. What starts off as chill quickly goes left. Taleen decided it would be a great idea to apologize to Lesa in front of the whole group. Girl, no. Why wouldn’t she just pull her aside like she did with Stanbury? Needless to say, this approach did not go well for her.
Taleen apologized for jumping into Lesa’s spat with Brooks. She reasoned she just wanted to have her friends back. But then Taleen told Lesa it was “uncalled for” coming at her during dinner. Any goodwill was now out the window, and Lesa was activated.
Lesa clapped back that Taleen did things that “irritate the sh*t out of me,” such as “chiming in when it’s not necessary.” Maybe so, but that hot mess behavior is why Taleen had an excellent debut on RHODubai. The ladies then told Lesa not to say that Taleen didn’t have a business. Lesa chalked it up to arguing, but Taleen felt differently. Taleen asked if Lesa was apologizing, and Lesa said, “You can’t be bitchy and not expect to be called a bitch.”
In her confessional, Taleen joked there should be a drinking game every time Lesa called her a bitch. However, the group didn’t find it funny, and all walked off. Taleen then threw her hands up and shouted, “I apologized!” Lesa responded, “F*ck your apology, bitch.” Clearly, any peace within this group was out of the question.

The world stopped when pop stars Charli XCX and Lorde dropped their remix of “Girl, So Confusing.” The smash hit had many listeners re-examining their friendship breakups and wondering if they too could “work it out on the remix.” The song also inspired a TikTok trend. Fans posted photos and videos of feuding celebrities or TV characters with the “Girl, So Confusing” audio in the background.
Naturally, I couldn’t help but apply the concept to the Bravoverse. There are countless Bravo feuds that I’ve been waiting with bated breath to be resolved. It’s no fun seeing your favs fight. In honor of the TikTok trend, I’ve compiled a list of Bravo feuds I hope will be resolved soon.
Here are three Bravo feuds that could benefit from working it out on the remix:
Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill
There once was a time Real Housewives of New York stars Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill were tied at the hip. They formed a friendship when Bethenny returned to the franchise for Season 7. Their close bond continued until the end of Season 10 when all hell broke loose. There were a myriad of reasons for the “breakup.” They fought over subjective text messages, a charity event gone wrong, and who a man in a scarf liked more (cue eye roll). However, the crux of the fight seemed to be Bethenny’s abandonment issues. She felt hurt and dismissed by her friend.
The women were never able to repair the friendship. They continue to throw digs at each other in interviews to this day. During Bethenny and Jill Zarin’smending fences episode on the Just B podcast, Jill asked if Bethenny would be interested in having Carole on the podcast. B was firm that she had no interest in burying the hatchet with her former friend. Carole said the same in an interview on SiriusXM. She told the host that Bethenny was using her to “construct a storyline.”
A reconciliation between these two Alphas seems unlikely but a girl can dream. I miss their friendship. It was a joy watching them take on New York together.
Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards
Bethenny and Carole’s friendship breakup was based on silly disagreements but nothing is more unserious than Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards feud. Lisa cut Kyle out of her life over PUPPY DRAMA.
In Season 9 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dorit Kemsley adopted a dog from Vanderpump Dogs named Lucy Lucy Apple Juice. Unfortunately, the dog allegedly had behavioral issues and she didn’t feel comfortable having the pup around her kids. She thought she gave Lucy away to a loving home but Vanderpump Dogs was alerted that the dog ended up in a kill shelter. The RHOBH cast became suspicious of Lisa after stories about the situation started popping up in the press.
Her cast members suspected she planted the stories, which caused a whole lot of drama. Lisa seemed the most hurt by Kyle’s questioning given their close friendship. She and Kyle were such a funny duo on RHOBH, but Kyle accused LVP of lying right to her face and that was no bueno. Lisa isn’t quick to forgive (and maybe she shouldn’t forgive at all), so I’m not holding my breath for a rekindling, but it would be iconic if these two came together again.
Listen, the Season 14 finale was rough and gave us little hope that these two hot-headed Jersey girls will be able to resolve their issues. However, Teresa did say there was some hope for her and Marge at the end of the Finale Watch Party. When she was asked if there was a world in which she would forgive Marge, she said it was possible if Marge got down on her knees and apologized for everything. Now, I don’t think Marge would ever do that but the statement did give me some hope for the future.
Jersey is in a tough place right now with the cast so divided. The women may be replaced if they can’t find common ground soon. Teresa won’t film with Melissa but she may be willing to talk to Marge to save the show. It’s unlikely but it could happen. Here’s hoping Dolores Catania can create some peace between the two.

There was something about Dance Moms: A New Era that had me feeling nostalgic. Maybe it was Glo Hampton’s voice sounding an awful lot like Abby Lee Miller. But then it hit me. There were some pretty humorous moments. Between the middle-aged mothers trying to live vicariously through their daughters and the tiny dancers saying the darndest things, there were moments of gold when it came to the reboot. Let’s take a look at the funniest moments from Dance Moms: A New Era.
Smiley wasn’t the best dancer. Everyone knew it, but Ms. Glow wanted to shut her mother, Dominica, up, so she was given a duet. The duet was to be danced during pride week and revolve around a very specific storyline. Ms. Glo wanted to tell the story of two young girls in high school falling in love. However, the major problem was that Smiley and her dance partner, Lily, didn’t have chemistry. In a savage move, Ms. Glow kicked Smiley out and added Ashlan. This left Dominica pissed as she said, “It’s not my fault that Lily and Smiley look like lesbian twins.”
Ashlan was the star of the show and gave main character vibes this season. Even though she kept crying, it probably got her what she wanted at home. She struck me as a pre-teen who was very sensitive and overwhelmed. But when she was on, she was on. Ashlan was all about giving face, and finally, Ms. Glow handed her a solo. But it came with some red tape. Ashlan was told she would have to do some research on the beauty queen who was murdered on Christmas Day.
The tiny primadonna even had to make her own costumes. Ashlan did not do well under pressure. On the day of the competition, she once again took out her rage on her mother. While Lisa was trying to be the hype woman for her little girl, Ashlan sat pouting, stating, “I kind of know how JonBenet felt.” Do you, Ashlan? This, perhaps, was one of the most humorous moments.
Mina, the meanie
The whole scene with Mina ripping apart Smiley was insane. Mina was a total mini-girl boss in that scene. Most 8-year-olds I’ve met know that’s way too mean to say out loud in front of that many people. But the lack of filter was comical to watch. Mina was caught saying, “It’s her problem she is crying. I’m not upset that she’s not in the group. I don’t care. I did hug Smiley and wished her the best for her.” At this moment, even her mother, Min, points out, “You’re a mean girl.”
But Connie, Lilly’s mother, even joked, “I’m scared of Mina. Have you seen Mina’s mother? It’s no surprise she is the way she is.” Mina kept going with her tirade, noting, “You cry. You need some time to yourself. She needs to do it for herself. Other people can’t do it for you. I’m not mean right now. Just care about yourself.” Honestly, I love Mina. I don’t care how harsh she is. The unapologetic Mina ends her rant, stating, “She has brain cells too… but she has a little more beauty.”
As I stated above, Ashlan was on a pre-teen rollercoaster when it came to her emotions. But If I were Lisa, I might have found a new activity for my daughter because the stress of dance was obviously way too much. But the stress caused Ashlan to deliver some pretty funny moments. After yet another long rehearsal, Ashlan was in tears and trying to calm herself down. While talking to the camera, she said, “I’m at the point where I need some coffee.”
The producer asked, “Is that coffee, Ashlan?”
The blonde smiled through tears as she said, “No, it’s cherry coke. “
From Episode 1, it was pretty obvious that Audrey was Ms. Glo’s favorite. But when Gina was brought in to give Audrey a run for her money, the move really upset Audrey, making me think it wasn’t the only thing living rent-free in Audrey’s basement head. The craziest interaction was the way Audrey was so nasty to Gina in the backstage dressing room. Gina had just stated she didn’t want the rivalry to ruin their friendship.
But Audrey asked, “Have you gotten better this season? Can you even do a front punch? You can barely do a back tuck.” Talking down to your teammate is one thing. But to make a girl who is two years younger than you feel back for not having advanced tumbling tricks is just plain mean. But Gina got her revenge and ended up winning with her solo.
TELL US — CAN YOU THINK OF ANY OTHER FUNNY MOMENTS FROM DANCE MOMS: A NEW ERA?
The Browns never thought their polygamous family could be left in ruins. But they also had never met Robyn Brown. It felt like the fourth wife of Kody Brown made it her mission to divide and conquer when it came to the plural family. Kody treated her like a queen and often put her on a pedestal. Robyn was seen as the crux of all the issues due to her alleged manipulative ways. Even though she claimed she wanted to grow old with her Sister Wives costars, her actions spoke a different tune.
As Season 10 gets ready to premiere, Robyn is acting as if Kody has turned her off. The patriarch has been whining and crying for years, not about how he is the victim. He has isolated himself from his three other wives and older children. Could it be that Robyn finally has had enough and has been given the ick? She might be better off going at it alone for a while, but surely that would devastate Kody.
Kody Brown hasn’t been the nicest
For the most part, Robyn has been the neck that turns the head when it comes to major decisions for the family. Fans have watched multiple seasons where Robyn has gotten her way. However, Robyn isn’t blind to the fact that Kody has taken his anger out on his first three wives. More than once, Kody has called them names like “princess” and “lazy.” It is not exactly how a husband should treat his spouses, but Robyn has escaped unscathed until now.
The Season 10 trailer showed Kody freaking out in the presence of Robyn. Even though Robyn is once again crying, it feels like she is starting to understand why Meri Brown, Christine Brown, and Janelle Brown all decided to uproot their lives and move on to greener pastures. In the trailer, Robyn notes, “I feel like the idiot who got left behind.” Could it be that the mother of five finally understands her husband is a loser in aluminum?
Robyn Brown and Kody Brown are on the rocks
A source close to the Brown family shared with The US Sun that “Robyn and Kody are not doing well. They have been very unhappy. I mean, they’ve been unhappy since everything fell apart, but even more so now, it’s getting worse.” It’s no surprise that the couple are struggling. A big reason for their marriage’s demise is how angry Kody is. The source added, “He’s just really mad at the world right now. Kody is not who he used to be at all.”
“He’s completely changed. He’s angry, and he’s volatile, and he doesn’t like anybody who’s not worshiping him.” Kody has always had a major God complex. In Season 8, he noted that he should have never given the wives their freedom or allowed them to have minds of their own, saying, “I’m going to be the head of my household again, and so I’m not going to be circumvented in that,” Kody said. “And so if everybody’s willing to conform to patriarchy again, I guess, because I’ve been fighting to make everybody happy. My bitterness is that out of trying to do that and not having the family that I had thought about and designed.” Spoiler alert: nobody was willing to bow down to Kody.
Kody Brown has become controlling
The gun salesman is trying to hold onto any sense of control he once had. But the moment is fleeting, like trying to catch a snowflake before it melts. The source explained that Kody has become “very controlling,” which in turn has made Robyn “submissive.” Allegedly, Kody is “controlling so much of her life right now,” and she is “not happy.” I mean, who would be happy? I imagine Robyn is plotting her escape as I type. Even though she is the clear villain of the series, she is also one smart cookie. I can’t imagine Robyn would stay one minute longer if it meant she was being disrespected.
The insider elaborated that Robyn used to be a social butterfly, which included family visits and talking on the phone with friends. But apparently, this no longer happens. If the trailer is any indication of their issues, it doesn’t look good. While standing out in the snow, Robyn is caught saying, “I’m having a hard time feeling like I’m losing respect for you.” Even though Robyn has often been the scapegoat, she has kept Kody in line when it comes to expressing his sour opinions. Maybe she is just tired of being his carer.
Kody Brown is turning into Robyn Brown’s ex
As the trailer ended, the TLC cameras zoomed in on Robyn, and she noted, “This is not the way it was supposed to go.” What’s worse for the fourth and favorite wife is the fact that her beloved Kody is slowly morphing into her ex-husband, David Jessop. The source noted, “Kody is turning into a mirror image of David. She took her kids away from him and took his parental control away. You think she’s going to stick around for this? No. Robyn chose to divorce David, stating there was serious marital discord in the home.
It seems like Robyn is putting her foot down, and I can’t blame her. The insider shared, “Robyn is not committed to staying if things don’t change. That’s just what it has come down to. Their marriage is not going to sustain this kind of control. She’s not going to let her kids be raised in the same volatile, angry state that her other kids were raised in.” If Robyn does leave, Kody will have no choice but to finally face the fact that he has been the problem all along.

One can never have too many friends in life. And the newest season of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is proving that sentiment with the addition of Meili Workman. The unknown, about-to-be-known Bravo personality is joining Mary Cosby, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Angie Katsanevas, Meredith Marks, and Whitney Rose. The trailer is already promising some major drama between the returning cast, and newbies are also looking to make a splash.
Meili is a Taiwanese-American beauty. According to the Bravo press release, Meili has “her hands full as a model with four young children and husband. As she and her husband work to keep their romantic spark alive while raising their children, Meili is re-finding her identity outside of motherhood.” The release goes on to share that Meili is ”Originally from California. Meili was raised LDS and moved to Utah to be more involved in the church, but ultimately decided that the faith was not for her.” However, we don’t know if she left on her own accord or was cast out by the elders.
Meili’s Instagram bio notes that she is also trying to homestead in her Homeowners Association. Creating your own homestead is popular in Utah and basically consists of running a small farm. The family is self-sustainable and usually has its garden and chickens. Meili has posted photos of working in her vegetable garden and cooking with her eggs, so she is pretty good at it. The model is joining the cast as a friend of Whitney’s. This should be interesting since Whit is known to love involving herself in drama.
Meili definitely lives a very busy life with four kids and a husband. On social media, she shared that she married Ty Workman after only having known one another for six months. But now they have been together for ten years. According to his LinkedIn, her husband, Ty, works at CUI as a commercial insurance agent. His job is to safeguard businesses and their assets. Ty has been working at CUI for less than a year. Previously, he worked as a Senior Account Executive at Domo Inc. Ty graduated in 2013 from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Science.
The couple’s four kids range from 10 to 2 years old. The model has been very open about her struggles as a mother on her social media pages. Meili has openly spoken about her postpartum battle. In one honest post after the birth of Acre, she wrote, “The house is a mess, the dishes and laundry have not been done, we’ve eaten out more times than I can count, I’ve bled on our white linen couches and have filled a trash bag full of MY diapers. Yet, our hearts have never been so full.” Meili also shared this would be her last child, which is a whole coping process of its own.
Before it was revealed that Meili was cast, some negative press surrounded her. Bravo has never been great at performing their due diligence when it comes to a solid background check. But, surprisingly, the network would have missed some very damaging social media remarks that definitely didn’t sit well with viewers. Meili was caught making some controversial remarks on Facebook via Reddit. Reality Tea reported that Meili wrote, “I don’t think children know they are transgender.” The second issue was a response to a comment which read, “Abortion is murder, 100 percent.” The mother of four added, “agreeeee.”
In another comment, Meili wrote, “Sexual orientation is attributed to BOTH nature and nurture.” This is not a promising start to Meili’s Bravo career. I can only hope Meredith Marks, who is a staunch supporter of gay rights, calls her out on these remarks. Some followers feel she will fit right in as a Season 3 friend.
Only time will tell if Meili will be a fan favorite or the newest ice queen.
TELL US — ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING TO KNOW MEILI ON THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF SALT LAKE CITY?
Most people leave a reality show kicking and screaming. Jeremy Simon from The Bachelorette isn’t like most people, and he’s totally at peace with his exit from the show. After Jenn Tran sent him packing in the latest episode, he opened up about why he had “no regrets” about his experience.
Jremey got eliminated from the show after the hometown visits. While in Jeremy’s hometown, his family made it pretty clear that they weren’t seeing it for Jenn. Bless them for their honesty.
At the rose ceremony, Jenn officially called things off with Jeremy. She felt like he just hadn’t opened up enough. Then, in a confessional, she explained that she just didn’t see a future with him.
“Even though it ended like this, I’m at peace with it because I know that whoever is in there will take care of you,” Jeremy told Jenn upon his exit from the show.
After his elimination aired, Jeremy spoke to People and delivered the most nonchalant exit interview you’ve ever heard. He’s still at peace about not finding his happily ever after with Jenn. He explained that he wouldn’t have done anything differently on this show, even though he did learn some lessons.
“I think you need to have a best friend in it,” he explained. “But also I guess that I did try to open up and be vulnerable.”
He continued, “Maybe if I’m ever in an intensified two-month relationship program again, [I’ll] maybe open up sooner. I don’t really have any regrets though.”
The Bachelorette continues on Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.

For those of you keeping track at home, it only took nine months of dating for John to pop the question. Interestingly, they’re citing their past relationship failures as what helped their partnership blossom.
Alexis confirmed the engagement with a sweet post to her Instagram. She uploaded a picture of her and John, with huge smiles on their faces. The only thing bigger than John’s grin was the ginormous rock on Alexis’ finger.
“On Cloud 9 [party emoji], celebrating 9 months of love and laughter, and looking forward to my forever with you,” Alexis captioned the picture. “Every moment together has been a gift. I am so in love with you and the beautiful life we’re building together. And the answer is 100000000% yes.”
In a statement to People, a representative for the RHOC couple confirmed that this was the real deal. Alexis and John got engaged on Tuesday, August 27 while celebrating their nine-month “anniversary.” The two took a trip to San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California when he popped the question.
“John and Alexis are happily engaged, and look forward to their long future together as husband and wife,” the representative confirmed.
Of course, it feels like just yesterday that John was in a serious relationship with Shannon Beador. Plus, Alexis was engaged to her ex for three years before calling things off in September 2023. When John and Alexis had a chance run-in at The Quiet Woman, they wound up bonding over their broken hearts. Now, they’ve found their happily ever after with each other.
“The two have been supportive companions as they navigate newly single life,” a source close to the couple explained. “This common background paired with a mutual attraction has made it easy for Alexis and John to form a natural connection.”
The new season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is premiering in September and fans can be excited about the new addition to the cast. Bronwyn Newport, Lisa Barlow’s friend, will hopefully bring a much-needed backup for the Vida Tequila owner. She’ll also be a breath of fresh air, as it is always intriguing to get to know a new housewife.
A lot can be garnered from the RHOSLC newbie’s social media. Not only is she successful, philanthropic, and chic as hell, but Bronwyn is actually on the path to getting her United States citizenship.

On August 27, Bronwyn posted the exciting update to X that she had passed her citizenship test. The reality TV star dressed for the occasion in a bright red suit accessorized with a tote showing a USA flag motif.
“Today was such a special day! I took & passed my citizenship test! Waiting now to take my oath to become a US citizen & hopefully get to vote this November! It is such an important responsibility of each citizen! Are you registered & ready to vote!?” she captioned the post, and included a link to the country’s official voter registration website.
Bronwyn’s got a message. And it’s in line with the one on her website. The new reality TV star is a “dedicated liberal political activist.”
It will be interesting to see how she interacts with the RHOSLC group. According to her bio for the season, the former Broadway producer will cause a “splash.”
“New housewife Bronwyn arrives in couture with her over-the-top fashion and a sense of humor as sharp as the diamonds she wears. A longtime friend of Lisa Barlow, Bronwyn makes a splash with the ladies with her outrageous, fabulous, and confrontational style,” the bio reads.
