Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard Star Jasmine Ellis Cooper Reveals Pregnancy

Congratulations are in order for the Coopers! The Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard power couple are expecting their first child after enjoying their first year of marriage together.

Silas Cooper and Jasmine Ellis Cooper were newly married when they filmed the premiere season of Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard. Fans enjoyed getting to know the couple’s dynamic, though a few moments raised eyebrows. Such as Silas complaining that his breakfast schedule was thrown into shambles.

But with their debut on reality TV successfully behind them, Silas and Jasmine are thrilled to share their special pregnancy news with fans.

Jasmine plans to balance motherhood and her career

The 31-year-old reality TV star exclusively revealed her pregnancy to People. She spoke with excitement of entering the “mom era!”

“We have been trying for a little while. It’s not like we were preventing, to be honest. One day, I was just feeling a little weird and, you know how you have a gut feeling? I took a test and it came out positive,” she explained.

Jasmine gushed about spilling the beans to her husband. Of course, she wanted to make the moment special. Silas received the news in the most heart-warming manner.

“Everything in my mind that I had envisioned on how I was going to tell him — because we’ve both wanted to be parents and build a family — completely just went out the window. I literally just ran into the other room, I jumped on him and said, ‘We’re pregnant! We did it!'” she revealed.

“He got really emotional and shed a tear or two. It was really exciting and very simple. I wish I would have documented it, but the way he reacted is cemented in my brain,” Jasmine continued.

Did the other Martha’s Vineyard stars know?

The couple share a very special link with their Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard co-stars as Jasmine was newly pregnant while filming. She chose to keep the news under wraps until she passed 12 weeks gestation. Once that critical point was crossed, she told her co-stars that she and Silas were expecting a baby boy.

“Initially, just my family knew. And then we found out that we were having a boy, which is really exciting,” Jasmine explained. “Going into this season filming Summer House, I knew that I was going to let them know, but I really wanted to cross over that barrier from first trimester to second trimester, so as soon as I was in the clear and that second trimester hit, I let my castmates know.”

“The way it plays out this season is actually really funny. Some people maybe suspected, but for the most part, I don’t think they had any idea. It’s going to be fun for the viewers to watch. I know that it’s going to be really special,” she added.

Jasmine is currently handling the pregnancy without the comfort of her husband close by. Silas is currently deployed in Poland and the two keep in touch “via WhatsApp.”

The separation has not dampened Jasmine’s excitement though. She has a name picked out already and is “excited to join the boy mom gang.”

Her pregnancy has been going smoothly. Jasmine has no complaints, “outside of the cravings (savory, spicy foods) and Pilates getting a little harder to do, it’s been really beautiful. I think my son is really doing me well.”

Reflecting on a year of marriage

Reflecting on the first year of married life and all the surprises that came with it, Jasmine acknowledged that is “was not the easiest.”

“It was very complex and we were pulled in so many different directions,” she said. “So to be at this point now feels like a blessing, like a reward for just staying committed to our family. It’s exciting and I know that it’s hard for him, being so far from me. He’s always worried if I’m okay, if I’m eating enough, if I have everything I need, and I have to reassure him that we’re good. I have an amazing doula, an amazing hospital that I’m going to give birth at, and I’m holding it down over here while he’s holding it down for the country over there.”

Silas and Jasmine are “looking forward to learning each other in this new way,” as they step into the roles of parenthood. Jasmine has high hopes for her child’s future.

“I think Silas is going to be a phenomenal role model and father, and just having fun moments at home,” she gushed. “Him being able to come home to the family we’re building is what I look forward to the most, the little moments like the movie nights, the forts, the trips, the weird things that kids do. I’m looking forward to that and all the holidays for sure.”

As for her own feelings about becoming a mother, Jasmine is hoping juggle a career and a baby.

She concluded, “It’s really special to approach motherhood, knowing all the phenomenal stories centered around youth and children that are out there. I’m looking forward to getting my career out there, and my biggest hope is to continue to collaborate with people I want to work with, telling the stories I want to tell outside of Summer House: Martha’a Vineyard, so I’m looking forward to balancing that with motherhood.”

Baby Cooper is due to enter the world in February 2024.

Paul and Trish Have Major Fight in Big Brother UK: ‘You Are a Bully’

Tensions reached boiling point in the Big Brother UK house last night (October 2, 2023), as spinoff show Late and Live was forced to cut away from the drama. Now, it’s been revealed that Paul and Trish had a huge fight following Paul’s childish behavior towards the other housemates. Here’s everything that went down, which will play out in tonight’s episode.

Paul attacked Noky, so Trish stood up for her

The drama started after fan favorite housemate Yinrun was rewarded with a party for passing a secret mission. She was only able to select six housemates to join her. She chose Chanelle, Jenkin, Tom, Trish, Dylan, and Noky. Paul later took it upon himself to try and ruin the party because he wasn’t invited, throwing balls of cling film down at the partygoers. “Your little dickhead party, I’m sick of it,” he said to them.

He then broke into the party, taking two of the cocktails over to the sink, and threatened to pour them away. “Let’s play a game,” he said. Jenkin hit right back, saying, “Play your own fucking game, you prick. Paul, grow the fuck up you fucking child.”

Noky, simply watching the drama unfold, was then attacked by Paul. “What are you staring at?” he asked, before she replied, “You, of course.”

“You’re strange, you just stare at me and don’t say a word,” he snapped. “Weird.” Trish then returned to the party, and Noky filled her in on the interaction.

“You are a bully,” Trish shouted to Paul from downstairs. “Why am I a bully?” he asked. “You know why you’re a bully, don’t act stupid,” she said. “Calm your voice down Trish,” came the response. “Are you talking about Noky, is that what you’re talking about?”

“So you know? So you know who you’ve been bullying?” Trish hit back. “You are a bully.”

This isn’t the first time Paul has had Noky in his sights. He told her that he thought she was “fake” one afternoon, before getting into her bed later that night and threatening to get his “arse” out on the sheets. When she returned to the bedroom, and found Paul in her bed, Noky looked incredibly uncomfortable.

Of course, the first line of defense for a bully is to say that they were simply trying to joke around and have a laugh. Expect plenty of that when Paul is asked to explain his actions. Hopefully, he’ll be evicted from the house in tonight’s double eviction.

Southern Charm Season 9, Episode 8 Recap: Bra Gate

There is nothing like a Southern Charm guys’ weekend, especially when the former king of chaos, Shep Rose, deems that a getaway is very much needed. Thankfully, Shep and his silver spoon are able to whisk his friends away to his family home in the North Carolina mountains. Sadly, the vibe gave more of a Cabin in the Woods feel as Rod Razavi discovered that there had been a secret rendezvous between Olivia Flowers and Austen Kroll. Grief will make you do some crazy things, like get back with an ex-boyfriend who walked all over you. Here’s everything that went down in Episode 8 of Southern Charm Season 9.

The clean up

After a tense dinner in honor of Olivia, the new Southern Charm episode opens up with JT Thomas and Rod cleaning up the clubhouse. Sadly, some of the mess just couldn’t be swept under the rug.

Austen and Olivia decided to meet up and tackle their journey to healing their friendship, though again, the Trop Hop brewer isn’t exactly best friend material. Austen opens up about what he has learned in therapy, sharing that he has learned he has to open up to those close to him in his life and let them know how he is feeling. He then goes on to tell Olivia just how important she is to him. Yet, he still betrayed her…

Austen then shared that the naked photo between Taylor Ann Green, who is clearly no choir girl, and Whitney Sudler-Smith “threw me for a fu*king loop.” Olivia added, “That was such a strange decision.” Naturally, Olivia’s curiosity spiked as she asked the 36-year-old Charlotte native if he had ever received a nude from Taylor, with Austen noting, “I never got a nudie from Taylor.” The ever-manipulating Austen shared that the revelation of a nude pic had made him sad and felt Olivia didn’t care about their friendship. Yes, folks, he is just reeling her in.

While Austen is talking about feelings, the cogs are turning in Olivia’s head as she voices her concerns, sharing, “I want to be able to trust you and get back there, I just don’t know how.” Somehow, Austen takes the criticism on the chin, claiming he understood, telling Olivia, “I do love you, and I know that I’ve hurt you, but I just know that you and I are supposed to be in each other’s lives.”

Shep is peeved in Southern Charm Episode 8

Meanwhile, Shep decided to take it upon himself to confront his longtime friend, Whitney, about accepting the nude selfie from his former lover. Angrily, Shep tells Whitney, “You should have told me about the nude photo just right off the bat. And you showed it to everyone else. It’s not cool.” Whitney, who is 55 and should definitely know better, revealed he thought that the message was “just a joke” and didn’t intentionally hide the information from Shep as he says, “Just so you know, I deleted it.” Yet Whitney acted as if he wanted a gold medal for pressing erase. Shep really stood up for Taylor as he urged his friend to support Taylor as she still was spiraling from their breakup.

Bra vs. bro

The party bus headed to Linville, North Carolina, was everything you thought it would be. Craig Conover was asking some tough questions. The Sew It Down South founder jokingly (we hope to God) asked, “Do you think panda bears are real? I really wanted them to be real.” JT, the scholar he is, happily tells his deluded friend that pandas do exist. Craig then responded, “There’s just no evidence.” Jesus, take the wheel.

Upon arriving at the cabin, the men of Charleston start drinking and cooking heart-shaped burgers in honor of Valentine’s Day. The dinner topic of whether Austen and Olivia hooked up came to light. Rod, who honestly I am rooting for and shows that we as viewers deserve a better quality of guy on Southern Charm, tells JT that a friend of his had been over to Austen’s home and saw an unclaimed bra sitting on the ottoman. Cue the Scooby Doo music.

Rod sorrowfully notes, “He had Olivia over, so this is assuming that’s hers.” Craig steps out after recovering from the idea that pandas will never exist (dummy) and calls out Austen. The very single lad states, for the record, “We met up in the morning for coffee just to talk. And then we went to lunch, and she literally was like, ‘Honestly, I just want to watch a movie at your house. That’s just what we do. We used to do it so often. I was like, ‘Yeah, of course.'”

Something smells fishy, and it’s not the heart-shaped burgers. Austen had a whole story down – they watched Olivia’s favorite movie, Three Quarters, they laughed, they joked, and “then guess who left her fucking bra on like my little pouf?” Ugg, it all feels so gross that Austen is all but bragging about yet another conquest.

Thankfully, JT came to the rescue and defended Rod’s honor, noting how upset he really was about the issue since he had been courting her. Rod pipes up, explaining, “I heard that Olivia and you hung out on Thursday, and then I was out with a girlfriend of mine, and she told me that there was a bra on the ottoman.” A hush came over the dinner table, with everyone holding their breath.

Austen wasted no time clapping back, saying, “Nothing happened. We cuddled a little bit. She kissed me right on the chest, and she fucking left.” The episode ended with the two talking in private and Austen doubling down that nothing happened. But we know Austen, and we know his track record – something is bound to bubble to the surface.

Shannon Beador Sentenced to Three Years Probation for DUI, Prosecution Rips Judge for Not Sending ‘Serious’ Message

Get ready to celebrate, Shannon Beador fans! Your favorite drunk driver has been to court and will remain unincarcerated. But did you really think Shan would see any severe consequences from her DUI and hit-and-run arrest?

Of course you didn’t. In a moment she’s likely not to forget if she even remembers it at all, Shannon drove while intoxicated back in September. She ran into someone’s home and then parked her car in the middle of the street. When cops found her, Shannon blew 3x over the legal blood alcohol content.

So let’s take a look at what the Real Housewives of Orange County star will face going forward, now that her life of crime is in the rearview. Hopefully. TMZ has all of the details.

3 years probation …

In a very quick court session, prosecution wanted jail for Shannon but the judge said “Nope!” Instead, she’ll get three years of probation. Shan will also have to complete 40 hours of community service and she must attend a 9-month alcohol program. There will also be some miscellaneous fines and fees for her to pay.

The judge dismissed Shannon’s one count of hit-and-run property damage probably because she’s already paid for the repairs in full. She also apologized to the homeowner for taking out their curbside appeal.

Orange County D.A. Todd Spitzer sounds like he’s more of a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills kind of guy because he wanted the judge to put Shan in jail for 30 days. Obviously, the judge wants her to make it to BravoCon.

The D.A. continued sharing his thoughts after the trial was over. Needless to say, he is incredibly unhappy Shannon’s consequences weren’t more harsh. ”Driving under the influence must have consequences,” he began.

“When a judge gives someone who not only drove with a blood alcohol level of .24 – three times the legal limit – but then ran away from the scene of an [sic] DUI collision a slap on the wrist, you are sending a message that DUIs are not serious crimes that demand accountability,” he added.

The D.A. continued his rant, ”Judge London clearly felt otherwise and not only gave her a court offer, but dismissed the hit and run charge in the interest of justice. This is not justice. We as a society need to wake up and address the very real – and often deadly – consequences of driving under the influence.”

While nothing was mentioned about Shannon’s driver’s license being suspended, I found this regarding California law: “If you are convicted of a first-time DUI in a California criminal court, the conviction automatically triggers a license suspension of six months under Vehicle Code 13352. Once you are convicted, the court notifies the DMV, which imposes the suspension.”

So if nothing else, Shannon will be off the road for at least six months. Stay safe Newport Beach!

Real Housewives of Miami Season 6, Episode 1 Recap: The Drama’s Already Started

Real Housewives of Miami Season 6 is here, and has some living up to do. Season 5 was one for the books, capped off with an explosive three-part reunion that Bravo was quick to remind us of. Season 6, Episode 1 opens with some of the hurtful remarks, mainly from Alexia Echevarria. To make amends, Alexia planned a party that, perhaps expectedly, went off the rails soon enough. But how?

We flash to one week before the party, where Alexia sits with her husband Todd Nepola on the beach, telling him about her plan to host a party with the theme of “Nuevo Horizontes” – new horizons. An opportunity to have dinner and “forget about the past.” Todd said he’d definitely show up.

Alexia and Todd also discussed Todd’s nine-minute social media apology to Anthony Lopez, husband of Dr. Nicole Martin. Alexia told the cameras she wished Todd had keyed her in on the plan to publicly apologize. In Nicole’s confessional, she acknowledged that the apology was nice, but wished it hadn’t been public. The other Housewives slammed Todd for the apology’s length.

Meanwhile, Larsa Pippen and Lisa Hochstein were getting cozy on a yacht with their new beaus, Marcus Jordan and Jody Glidden respectively. They briefly discussed Lenny Hochstein, and Lisa said Jody was taking it all like a champ. If Jody is everything he appears to be, Lisa may have struck gold.

Meanwhile, Nicole and Anthony were checking out their new digs when they received a visit from Guerdy Abraira. At the same time, Larsa revealed she was still bitter over Guerdy’s comment that Larsa was the fakest Housewife. Guerdy, however, had bigger fish to fry.

Guerdy told Nicole that her gynecologist wanted her to come in for a biopsy related to pain in her breasts. Nicole went into doctor mode and explained everything it could possibly be, telling her friend, “Don’t think worst case scenario.” Speaking of medical scares, we then checked in with Julia Lemigova and her wife Martina Navratilova.

Martina was diagnosed with throat and breast cancer, coming out on top in the end, but still recovering as RHOM filming began. Julia made it clear she’d be the ultimate caretaker, preparing smoothies and soups for her wife in between all the animal care. Julia also revealed that Alexia had been checking in after apologizing for her behavior at the reunion.

Alexia, Marysol, and the Adriana of it all

As Lisa went in for her first deposition, Alexia was partying it up with Marysol Patton and Kiki Barth on the beach. When Alexia told them about the Nuevos Horizontes party, Kiki asked if Adriana de Moura would be invited. Neither Alexia nor Marysol were ecstatic about the idea, given Adriana’s comments last season, at the reunion, and on her press tour.

Still, Kiki encouraged Alexia to make amends. Lisa, meanwhile, finished up her deposition in hopes of avoiding a support hearing. While alone with the cameras, Lisa received a call from Lenny, where the former told her estranged husband to Venmo her before he ended the call.

Later, Alexia met up for drinks with Julia, and the two discussed the prospect of inviting Adriana to the party at week’s end. Julia told the cameras she feared that Marysol was committing “emotional blackmail” against Alexia. Something Kiki and Julia said must’ve gotten through to Alexia because she agreed to go sit down and speak with Adriana.

24 hours later, Adriana and Alexia did meet up for food and drinks. But Adriana immediately started things off on the wrong foot with her giant white flag and outfit with peace and love signs all over it. “I come in peace,” Adriana said. Alexia was not feeling it. “Why do you always have to show up with a prop? Do you think that makes things better?”

Nevertheless, the two were able to converse. They were surprisingly civil, all things considered. They addressed all of their past comments and emphasized the times when they’d found common ground in the past. The two held hands and apologized to each other. With all said, Alexia invited Adriana to her party.

Of course, it didn’t take long for Adriana to pull an Adriana, who, on the way to the party, accused Alexia of judging her. She accused Alexia of elitism coming from Todd’s money. What’s worse, Adriana was in the car with Kiki and Julia, the two women who stuck their necks out for her. Julia expressed her frustration in a confessional, and the two defended Alexia, explaining how willing she was to reach out to Adriana.

In preparing for the party, Alexia called Marysol to inform her of the invitation to Adriana. Alexia knew Marysol would be upset and began crying, but not just because of Adriana. Todd was suddenly MIA, telling his wife he wouldn’t show up to the party, the supposed reason being he didn’t want to confront conversations about Anthony.

Alexia cried and begged Marysol to come to the party since Todd wouldn’t be there to lend support (like he promised he would). Marysol, conflicted, said, “Maybe I show up, maybe I don’t.” Classy. Marysol hung up on Alexia without giving a straight answer. Still, the party started on a high note as Housewives and partners started filing in and socializing happily.

Larsa, however, was still hung up on Guerdy’s comments and served plenty of side-eye when the event planner walked in. Eventually, Larsa dropped all pretense and confronted Guerdy about the “fake” comments. Guerdy said Larsa had been dismissive of her, in particular, over comments she made about Lisa’s divorce, and at the reunion during an argument with Alexia.

Nuevos Horizontes turns sideways

Marysol showed up right in the middle of the fight and was not impressed. In the middle of the argument, Larsa claimed, “I’m matching your energy, boo,” and Guerdy decided she was done with the conversation. When alone with the cameras, Larsa supposed Guerdy’s comments were just a press move.

When everyone began asking where Todd was, Alexia decided to gather the group together for a chat. Alexia attempted an apology and her desire to start anew. She then admitted that she was also “wondering where’s Todd.” Still, she thanked her guests for showing up, especially Marysol. That’s when Julia said, “I’m actually surprised to see you here, Marysol.”

Things just devolved from there. Julia accused Marysol of selfishness and wanting to harm her best friend, and Alexia didn’t step in, telling cameras, “Sometimes … I feel like you have to fight your own battle.” The men started filing out one by one, and Alexia gave them some of Todd’s cigars to go out and smoke.

What’s going on with Guerdy in Real Housewives of Miami Season 6?

The women went on arguing, though Guerdy tried to stop things before stepping out herself. Russell Abraira went to check on his wife who was crying and said, “I can’t take this … I don’t want to be here.” As everyone started filing out, Nicole asked if Guerdy was okay, saying she could see in her face that something was wrong.

Larsa attempted to confront Guerdy again, and Guerdy pulled her aside. Through sobs, she told Larsa to “Stop, stop, stop. Look at me. I’m gonna need you … When I ask for you, come for me. When I ask for you, be with me.” Larsa was understandably confused. The women speculated on what was going on with Guerdy.

A rewind to the day before; Guerdy sat with Russell in a park. “They didn’t think it was gonna be anything,” she said. “This stupid thing is now invasive. I don’t know if I want to use the word cancer … Do not even say the word.” But Russell was at a loss for words.

Love Island Games Episode 1 Recap: First Cast, Couples and Bombshells Revealed

Love Island Games has finally arrived on Peacock: Episode 1 saw the first 12 Islanders introduced, and they were immediately thrown in at the deep end. A challenge saw the ladies get the power to choose the initial couples, with host Maya Jama overseeing proceedings. There was also some excellent narration from the legendary Iain Stirling, plus a couple of Bombshells were thrown into the mix. Here’s everything that went down in Love Island Games Episode 1.

While we know a lot of Love Island contestants will be making their way to the villa, these 12 were the first to be revealed for Love Island Games. In Episode 1, they each arrived at the villa with high energy. It’s going to be an interesting season for sure. But, as we know, when Bombshells arrive, everything can change. That high, positive energy, could turn into manipulative, and even negative energy at any point. I say, bring on the drama. Looks like producers thought the same, judging by the end of this premiere episode…

Love Island Games: First challenge revealed

In the first-ever Love Island Games challenge, the women had to collect hearts in a game called “All Spies On Me.” There were a total of three to find, with a bunch of different tasks to complete including the popping of balloons, jumping through a (paper) wall, and diving into a huge tank of water. One hilarious moment came when Cely attempted to jump through the wall, and the wall pushed back. Even Maya couldn’t stop herself from bursting into laughter. An excellent way to get things started.

Who is coupled up in Love Island Games Episode 1?

At the end of the first challenge, the results were revealed. Lisa and Imani were the only two ladies to collect all of the hearts, and so they got to choose their partners first. Justine and Cely each collected two stars, so their choices came next. Liberty made the penultimate choice, and Jessica was left with Steph; something she didn’t mind, as she noted he was in her “top three.”

How are the couples getting on in Episode 1?

Most of the couples are getting along great, but when Steph insinuated Jessica wasn’t “sporty” enough, she wasn’t happy. She let her feelings be known in confessional, but to Steph’s face, she was impressed when he said he would “carry the team.” Jess suggested that they could go to the gym together: “Get these guns going and make me fit as f*ck.” She’s going to be a real firecracker. I can see why the casting team reached out.

On their first big night, everybody pulled out all the stops to look good. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful casts reality television has ever seen. Thankfully, there are also some great personalities to keep us entertained across the season.

Callum wanted to get his “foot in the door,” and immediately kissed Liberty. Then, Maya arrived. It was time for some big news.

The first Love Island Games Bombshells arrive

Maya gathered the 12 Islanders around the Fire Pit. She explained that two new Islanders were on the way, and would kiss the two people they found the most attractive. The twist? That the 12 original Islanders would be blindfolded, so they wouldn’t know who was kissing who.

The Bombshells arrived in the form of Megan Barton Hanson from Love Island UK, and Johnny Middlebrooks from Love Island USA. Johnny has history with Cely, actually leaving their original season together as a couple. They’ve hardly spoken since their split, and he has no idea what he’d say to her if she was in the villa. Lucky for him, she’s right there!

Megan chose to kiss Callum, straddling him and making sure Liberty knew exactly who was getting a snog, as well as Steph. Johnny’s first kiss was with Imani. Then, he moved onto Cely. My jaw was on the floor, as Johnny and Megan retreated back to their hiding spots, and the credits rolled.

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 4, Episode 8 Recap: Major Mommy Issues

Previously on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, rumors were reportedly flying about Angie Katsanevas’ husband Shawn Trujillo, and Monica Garcia had a big fight with her mom at Angie’s Easter Brunch. It was ugly. Here’s what went down on RHOSLC Season 4, Episode 8: “Moms, Missions, and Matrimony.”

Monica’s abandonment issues

The day after Angie’s disastrous Easter Brunch, Heather Gay invites Monica to go for a snowmobile ride. Afterward, they cozy up with a hot drink in the lodge.

“Thank you so much for calling me,” Monica tells Heather. “That meant a lot, and I really needed this.”

“Yesterday was hard,” Heather responds. “When I saw you leaving [Angie’s] with your kids in your arms and no shoes, I couldn’t get it out of my mind … to have your mom there but not helping you, you know?” It reminded Heather of her own damaged relationship with her mom.

Heather and her mom were close, but they grew apart when Heather got divorced. “It was really hard for everybody to accept,” she said. “It just didn’t feel like anybody had my back, you know?”

The volatility of Monica’s relationship with her mom goes back to her childhood. “When I turned 12,” she began, getting emotional, “my mom … decided that she wanted to chase her dreams, so she dropped me off with a family in Pennsylvania and went and lived in New York.”

Heather is visibly shocked, but Monica continues, “My dad left me when I was four, and then my mom left me.” This is the root of her abandonment issues.

Things got so intense at Angie’s house because Monica felt, once again, abandoned by her mother. Linda didn’t defend her and was even apologizing for her behavior.

“You and I actually have way more in common than I would have ever thought,” Monica tells Heather. “I really am so grateful … I wouldn’t have even left my bed today, truly.”

“You have a village,” Heather responds. “You’re creating a new village, and you’re gonna be okay.”

Tantrums and control tactics

A few days later, Heather hosts another outdoor gathering. She invites Whitney Rose, Meredith Marks and Monica to go cross-country skiing, followed by a tailgate party in the parking lot.

While they’re enjoying their snacks in the sunshine, Whitney asks, “So, Monica, what’s going on with the car? You got a new Range Rover.”

“That’s a rental,” Monica explains. Apparently, Monica’s credit is bad, so when she had to get a new car, her mom financed it and Monica makes the payments. “So every time she gets mad at me, she takes the car. She took my car after Angie’s Easter dinner and left me without a f*cking car for my four kids. So, I had to rent another car.”

Heather’s jaw dropped. Mine did, too. That’s unbelievable … but it gets worse.

Monica’s mom called and said, “I want the car by 4 p.m., or I’m calling the police and saying it was stolen.” The other women are stunned. Monica’s mom is … well let’s just say, she’s not nice.

“It’s just because she’s angry,” Monica says. “It’s a control tactic.”

“She’s like Ted Bundy, right?” Monica jokes. “No one ever thought he was a murderer ’cause he was so charismatic.”

Whitney and Mary’s disastrous dinner

Whitney checks in for her dinner reservation for two. Who is she meeting? Uh oh, it’s Mary Cosby. This should be fun.

“We missed you at Greek Easter,” Whitney says.

“I didn’t miss it,” Mary lobs back. Oh, she’s not going to play nice – but then, she never does.

When the waitress brings their food, she accidentally spills a little juice onto Mary’s empty dinner plate. Mary’s eyes nearly pop out of her head.

“I am so sorry!” the server apologizes. “Let me grab you a new plate, okay?”

“You did not spill food on me,” Mary mutters. “Oh, my gosh.” In an interview, she adds, “Why didn’t she spill it on Whitney? That’s a sign. You should not be here tonight.”

After Mary urges her to “shoot your shot,” Whitney begins with an apology, “I got caught up in a lot of bullsh*t talking about you, and I’m so sorry.”

“You severed our future,” Mary tells her.

“But, Mary,” Whitney whines, “you have to own it, too.”

“What do you mean?” Mary asks. “I have to own you talking about me?”

“You sent me mean text messages,” Whitney responds, “and it hurt my feelings.”

“Grow up, little girl,” Mary says. “I’m done … I’m not doing this with you. You’ve wasted enough of my time … You called my husband and [me] “predators … I’m not wasting my time with you. Wake up, bobblehead … Watch me walk out the door.” She takes her food to go and leaves.

“You can’t just say anything about people,” Mary interviews, “and think it’s okay. Someone’s gonna backhand you. Seriously, it might be me.”

Monica and Linda face off

In another Salt Lake City eatery, Monica’s meeting her mom. As soon as Monica sits down, Linda starts to sob, which is so manipulative. Fortunately, Monica’s seen this show before and doesn’t fall for it.

Linda progresses to her second manipulative move. “I watched a movie,” she begins, “about an older lady in Croatia, who had issues with her mom. The mom died, and they hadn’t resolved their issues. I don’t want that to happen to us.”

“You want me to feel bad for you,” Monica responds, “but when I was crying, you didn’t give a sh*t. At Angie’s dinner, you made me feel completely alone … And then you expect me to sit here and feel bad for you that you’re crying.”

“I’m not asking you to feel bad for me,” Linda says, the tears suddenly drying up as her voice rises. “I’m asking you to have a conversation with me.”

“Don’t talk to me like that,” Monica answers.

“I’m not gonna talk to you like some weak-ass bitch,” Linda yells, pounding her fist on the table for emphasis. “When you were in Palm Springs, you said that Angie was acting like a crazy person … you were trying to calm her down, and I was just trying to do that for you.”

“I didn’t get in Angie’s face and humiliate her,” Monica says. “You instantly took her side … I don’t understand that.”

“I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with this,” Linda shrugs.

“You tried crying. You tried yelling. That’s usually all you do.”

“Stop that,” Linda argues. “That was sincere. Don’t be disrespectful.”

Monica draws the line in RHOSLC Season 4, Episode 8

“Mom, you’re not gonna scold me like I’m a f*cking little child anymore.”

“And you’re not gonna disrespect me,” Linda fires back. “I’m still your mother … Don’t mock my feelings.”

“Like you did to me?” Monica asks.

“I don’t care,” Linda shouts. “I don’t. I’m so over it.”

“I know you don’t care,” Monica claps back.

“Let me talk, motherf*cker,” Linda shouts. Whoa! What kind of a person calls their child a motherf*cker? Get up and walk out, Monica. Get your own damn car and cut ties. Your mom is toxic, as well as batsh*t crazy.

“Where did this start?” Linda asks, gesturing wildly.

“Easter at Angie’s was reliving my abandonment as a child,” Monica continues. “I was 12 years old, and it was so easy for you to leave me … and go off to live your life in New York.

“You treat me like I’m still that little, tiny girl that you can f*cking sh*t on and leave here and leave there … And still right now you don’t give a f*ck.”

“Get over it,” Linda says coldly.

“I’ve dealt with emotional and mental abuse my entire life,” Monica interviews. “All I can do is make sure my kids never feel that and break that cycle.”

When Linda asks when she’ll be forgiven, Monica tells her, “You just told me you don’t really feel bad, so not today!

“This sh*t is now affecting my children, and that’s where I draw the f*cking line … When you take our vehicle, I’m done.”

Before leaving to go home to her kids, Monica and Linda agree to go to therapy. That might take a while. There’s a lot of hurt there.
