Audrina Patridge Admits Feeling “Shocked” And “Bummed” About The Upcoming Reboot Of The Hills

MTV is planning on rebooting two of their classic reality TV shows: Jersey Shore and The Hills. Almost immediately after that news came out, the Jersey Shore cast shared a statement in solidarity, blasting MTV for rebooting the show. We hadn’t heard much from the former stars of The Hills, but now Audrina Patridge is speaking up about how she and her castmates feel about the new generation of The Hills headed to our screens.

Audrina was on TalkShopLive chatting about her upcoming book when she started to delve into her feelings on the new reboot of The Hills. People covered the live stream, where Audrina said, “I can’t believe they’re doing this, to be honest. We were all kind of shocked. Especially because on The Hills: New Beginnings, we had a cast of 14, and it was actually really hard to film because there were so many people and so many things going on,” she said.

Of course, The Hills: New Beginnings ended earlier this year after only two short seasons. So it seems a little fast for MTV to give The Hills franchise yet another new beginning. However, MTV’s announcement promises that the latest edition of the show will feature an all-new, more diverse cast.

During the live stream, Audrina continued to share her feelings about the upcoming reboot. But unlike the Jersey Shore cast, she understands why MTV would want to introduce a younger cast.

She said, “I’m a little bummed out about it, but I guess they want a younger generation, and as you get older, you have more responsibilities, and you care about your image. And we’re not in our twenties anymore, so I guess getting a new generation of kids makes sense ’cause they’re going to be carefree and wild.”

As far as the rest of the cast members go, it sounds like they’re in the same boat of feeling shocked and confused by the news of a reboot — especially because they found out about it at the same time as the rest of the world.

“We all sent each other like, DMs and messages, texting of what was out there from Instagram, like, the announcement. And were like, ‘Oh, my gosh. I cannot believe they are redoing The Hills’ and like, ‘What the heck?'” Audrina recalled.

Despite the bitter feelings about The Hills getting the reboot treatment, Audrina did admit that the OG cast has essentially run their course with that brand of reality TV. It’s an admission that you don’t hear from many reality stars, so kudos to Audrina for being self-aware.

She explained, “It’s kind of a shock. Also, The Hills, I feel like we ran our course. We didn’t really have too much more drama to give. We’re all, like, moms and dads and dating and like, a little bit more reserved than we used to be.”

Would Gloria Estefan Join Real Housewives Of Miami?

Real Housewives of Miami has a diverse cast of women that are well-known in their own right. But is there a chance to get an iconic international superstar in the mix? That question was posed to Grammy-winning singer, actress and businesswoman Gloria Estefan. The Cuban and American singer has been living in Miami forever and could bring a whole new audience to the show.

As reported by E! News, Gloria recently admitted on the red carpet that it might not be so simple. She stated, “I’m so proud of them and what they’re doing.” But added, “Our schedules are just off kiter. So, I don’t know if I’ll be there.”

When pressed about the future, Gloria didn’t give us much reason to hope. She shared, “Oh, no, that’s too much work. First of all, I have five dogs, and for the dogs to be disrupted in that way, it’s not gonna happen to have a crew shooting in my house.” Not willing to disrupt your dogs for filming? Legendary.

Unfortunately, for us, it sounds like the door is completely closed. But Gloria admires the cast for laying it “all on the table.” She concluded, “I think they’re doing an amazing job. I’m very proud of them.”

It sounds like like this is a case of RHOM needing Gloria more than she needs them. Over her illustrious music career that spans 40+ years, Gloria has certainly earned herself plenty of fame and notoriety. And money! Her current net worth is estimated anywhere between $500 to $700 million. That’s some serious cash.

As for her personal life, Gloria has been married to husband Emilio Estefan since 1978 and the couple have two (now grown) children. In 2012, she became a grandmother. Last year, they sold their second (yes, they have two) Star Island mansion to the tune of $35 million.

If Star Island sounds familiar, that’s because RHOM cast member Lisa Hochstein lives there too. The Island is small, so Gloria and Lisa likely know each other. But Lisa is currently battling her estranged husband, Dr. Lenny Hochstein, to remain in the $52 million mansion amidst their ongoing divorce. Since Gloria is still living in her other Star Island house, maybe she can offer Lisa some neighborly support.  It just won’t be on camera. Season 5 of RHOM is rumored to be filming now with a possible release by the end of the year.

Kanye West Appears To Be Single Again After Rumors Of Breakup With Chaney Jones

Is Kanye West back on the market? Ever since his tumultuous divorce with estranged wife Kim Kardashian, Kanye has been trying to keep busy with his dating life. But it looks like his most recent relationship has hit the skids.

As reported by Entertainment Tonight, sources say that Kanye and his girlfriend of four months, Chaney Jones, are over. the source revealed, “Things between Kanye and Chaney fizzled out.” They added, “They were never super serious to begin with. He has been doing his own thing and has been dating around since his divorce with Kim.” The source also noted, “[Kanye] is trying to do his own thing and surround himself with people that make him happy and figure out what he wants in a partner before completely settling down.”

But it doesn’t look like Chaney got the memo. In honor of Kanye’s 45th birthday, she posted a photo montage of the two on her Instagram. She wrote in her caption, “Happy birthday baby. I love youuuuu.” Ok, that seems like a lot for four months of dating. Is anyone else wondering if this is one big publicity stunt? I’m sure the  answer it “of course.”

Chaney, who bears a striking resemblance to Kim, started dating the rapper in February. The two became public after being spotted out to dinner at Nobu in Malibu. And by “spotted” I mean, obviously wanted to be seen together since Nobu is such a high-profile place. In March, Page Six reported that Kanye gifted “an extremely rare version of the Birkin bag for Chaney Jones for $275,000 from Privé Porter.”

While that might seem pretty special, $275k is small potatoes for Kanye. The rapper and designer is estimated to be worth a whopping $2 billion. And it’s not the first time he’s given away a Birkin to a love interest. While he was dating Julia Fox, he bought her and several of her friends a baby Birkin. Julia insisted of the relationship, “There’s no labels, none of that,” and the couple broke up after 2 months.

As the breakup rumors continued for Chaney, she denied them on a recent TMZ Instagram post. She wrote in the comments, “Please stop posting and spreading fake news about my relationship. Have some respect, it’s his birthday.” But a few days later,  Chaney deleted almost all of her Instagram posts, including her birthday wishes to Kayne. The only two that remain are pictures of her by herself, one posted in April and the last one posted in May.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta OGs Reunited For An Interview Special Without NeNe Leakes

Since their 2008 debut, Real Housewives of Atlanta has been one of the most beloved Housewives franchises on Bravo. It has also been one of the highest rated, season after drama-filled season. And former producer Carlos King has a little something to do with that. The “King of Reality TV” spent 4 seasons making RHOA great. In addition, he also produced the spin-offs that showcased both Kandi Burruss and NeNe Leakes getting married.

He reunited the OGs of RHOA, but his without his girl NeNe. The Instagram account Real Housewives Franchise posted the news on their page. The caption provides us with the details, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta OG’s (minus NeNe) reunite for the first time in 14 years on The Nightcap with Carlos King, which is set to air on June 11 on OWN.” It goes on to share who will appear, “The half-hour program will have Shereè Whitfield, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Lisa Wu and DeShawn Snow share life updates and rehash drama from the first season.”

Ok, first things first – a half an hour? How can he spend only half an hour with our RHOA season one queens? Secondly, and I know we all all wondering – what about NeNe? Carlos and NeNe are allegedly close. And Carlos has sung her praises for years. Just last year, he said, “NeNe became a huge star after season 1. I saw it coming…She didn’t believe me. She was like ‘Shut up bitch.’” Carlos added, “She just made everyone laugh. She was fun and hilarious. She had it.”

Fans in the comments agreed. One user wrote, “Kind of anticlimactic if you’re missing the true OG.” Another agreed, “I know NeNe has her case going on.. but we miss her! Idk… she and bravo need to come to a resolution.” The “case” the comment is referring to is the open lawsuit NeNe has filed against Bravo. Which might just make things tricky for Carlos if he wants to stay on Bravo’s good side.

In April, NeNe filed suit against Bravo alleging racism during her time on RHOA. The suit reads in parts, “NBC, Bravo and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated — if not, encouraged.” NeNe accused Kim, who she had a tumultuous friendship with on and off-screen for years, of racist behavior. While Kim is named in the suit, NeNe is not suing her directly.

So it looks like now we have our answer as to why NeNe likely wasn’t invited. Things would be pretty weird if the two of them sat on stage together after NeNe used Kim as an example in her lawsuit. But the real question is – if Carlos is cool with NeNe, why would he have Kim as a guest over her? Plus, we all know who the bigger star is. Kim is years removed from relevance and NeNe is an icon, even if she has lost fans over the years. But NeNe also claimed in her suit that Bravo had blackballed her after she spoke out…is this just one more example?

Below Deck Down Under Recap: Operation Rescue Tender

Last week, major upheaval rocked Below Deck Down Under. Captain Jason Chambers finally fired Magda Ziomek and Chef Ryan McKeown, who were replaced, respectively, by new third stew Taylor Dennison and Chef Nate Post. Both newbies came aboard Thalassa with impressive resumes and better credentials than their fired counterparts. But it’s safe to say that, as of the first dinner service, things are not going well. There’s been miscommunication after miscommunication between Aesha Scott and the new chef. Food’s been sent out cold. They’re not on the same page. And to make matters worse, the captain is eating dinner with the guests. So he has a front row seat to just how incompetent his crew looks right now.

Clearly, there’s nowhere to go but up. And they have a chance to redeem themselves right away because there’s still a 30th birthday to throw for the primary. While Chef Nate furiously throws together a birthday cake, Benny Crawley gets the party going on deck by reawakening his alter ego DJ Lazy Susan for another turn behind the turntables. Thankfully, the night is somewhat salvaged, even if Captain Jason had to get out of his seat twice to motivate the crew. And Culver Bradbury — usually the self-appointed chief entertainment officer — goes to bed early and ducks out on dancing with the guests.

During the night shift, Brittini Burton grills Taylor on all things girl talk. And is relieved when the new stew admits the one guy on board who’s most her type is Jamie Sayed. However, she also confesses that her feelings towards Culver have gotten….complicated, let’s say, as the season wears on. And considering they’re supposed to be taking a van road trip together after the last charter, that’s bound to come to a head at some point. Taylor also claims she pulled a Malia White on one of her previous boats, kissing more than one of her fellow crew members in the same season. And even got reprimanded by the captain for it. So look out for that one, she may be something of a firecracker…

The next morning, Chef Nate isn’t exactly calm and refreshed. If anything, the day before has him on edge. He’s prone to anxiety in high-stress situations and determined to do better on his second day than he did on his first. But his very worst day has to still be a thousand times better than Chef Ryan, right? Controversy also permeates the deck team though, when Culver takes his break before Benny despite the latter starting work earlier. Something’s off with the chief entertainment officer but no one knows exactly what. Breakfast for the guests, on the other hand, goes well. So Nate’s turning things around.

For their daily excursion, Captain Jason takes the guests snorkeling in Manta Ray Bay off Hook Island. Which gives Jamie the perfect opportunity to throw the hammer down on Culver. He reprimands the deckhand for taking his ill-timed break. And even goes as far as to warn him Captain Jason has a “target” on him. Inferring that Culver could be following Magda and Ryan as the next one to walk the plank. It all seems a bit overblown, especially considering what a great job Culver has done all season. And he’s the first to admit that getting the talking to from Jamie doesn’t exactly motivate him to do better. I can’t say I blame him, frankly.

Hours later, Chef Nate heads into his second dinner service with a little pep talk from Captain Jason. Apparently, the two are from the same city of Wagga Wagga in New South Wales, so they find immediate common ground in that. He’s also operating under the context of “the more communication, the better” with Aesha. And thankfully, his surf and turf is a much bigger hit all around than what he served the night before. Once everyone else goes to bed, Brittini and Taylor are then left to watch over the primary. Who is topless. With her brother. In the hot tub. Oh, and they also FaceTime their dad, just to make the moment a little more bizarre.

Departure day finally arrives. And during breakfast, Captain Jason gets an alert that another motor yacht in the area has lost its tender. Ummm, how does that happen? Then, just as the deck team pulls up the anchors, the captain sees the missing tender floating adrift on the high seas. He’s determined to help a fellow captain out, and launches the deck team into a full-blown rescue mission. Lifejackets included! Naturally, Jamie rams home the point of just how dangerous picking up this extra tender is. But also insists on being the one to leap on board and get credit for saving the day. The tender is saved! And the bosun gets the glory!

The guests depart. But not before the primary has exchanged Instagram handles with Culver and asked what the crew is doing with their night off. At the tip meeting, Taylor and Chef Nate both get shoutouts for hitting the ground running. And the tip comes to a total of $16,149. I’m sorry, how is a thirty-year-old yoga instructor coming up with that kind of a tip? Maybe I’m in the wrong line of business…But the crew is pleased to pocket $1,345 apiece. Well, before blowing some of that on their night out, of course. And Culver gets awarded the disco helmet of shame.

Later, Captain Jason calls Aesha, Jamie and Chef Nate together for the final preference sheet meeting of the season. The last primary is celebrating her recent marriage, her birthday, and Pride all in one! (Was this season filmed a full year ago??) The group wants scuba diving, jet skiing, the dreaded slide for the very first time all season, and a Spanish picnic. And a beachside vow renewal. Followed by a Mardi Gras party. Oh, and they’re all vegan and gluten-free. So the last charter is basically going to be a lot of work. For everyone.

But that’s all a giant problem for another day. Because it’s time for the crew to hit the town. Brittini starts the night by confiding in Tumi Mhlongo that she’s ready to tell Culver she’s catching feelings for him. But surprise, surprise! Culver invited the primary and the rest of the just-departed guests to meet at the club. And next thing you know, he’s bumping and grinding and, uh, making out, with the primary. This was not part of Brittini’s plan.

The theme for the upcoming season of Vanderpump Rules (if there ever is one) is breakups. The fired OGs may be settling into married life (like Jax Taylor and Stassi Schroeder; thankfully, not to one another), but the current cast is getting more single. Lala Kent kicked her baby daddy Randall Emmett to the curb. Considering the revelations made about Randall and how the two got together, it wasn’t a total surprise. The most-shocking split is truly the end of the Bubbas.

Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney have called it quits after spending their entire VPR careers with one another. It wasn’t all pretty to watch. The couple had plenty of drunken regrets — remember when Schwartz went through the phase of dumping drinks on everyone’s heads? Truly a whole other moment in time.

The Bubbas have endured a lot, but they couldn’t endure it all forever. It came down to Schwartz’s inability to side with Katie on almost anything. He is always much quicker to back up Tom Sandoval than his own wife, which is a recipe for disaster. The two are remaining amicable, but it’s weird to watch this relationship unravel.

The reactions have been all over the place. Lisa Vanderpump goes from being devastated to sharing her hopes that the B-list TomKat get back together. It’s caused a little tension amongst the Pump Rules friend group, even though Katie and Tom are keeping things amicable. Lala, on the other hand, is #TeamKatie all the way, dumping Schwartz along with Rand and taking Tequila Katie on the prowl.

It’s been an emotional rollercoaster, to say the least. Tom and Katie are moving out of their home. It’s a sad time, so Katie memorialized it with a heartbreaking Instagram post. Regardless of your feelings about Katie, it’s hard not to feel for her.

Katie posted a photo of herself sitting in her empty house, seemingly reflecting on everything that’s all happening. She wrote about her dislike of goodbyes. “Closing this chapter on my life feels like attending my own funeral. But I’m very much alive,” she wrote. She added that she will miss coming home to the house, but is appreciative of the time she spent in it.

Katie received a whole lot of support in the comments. Schwartzy was there to lean on his soon-to-be ex-wife, even though he’s been reluctant about the D-word the entire time. “Last scene from fresh prince of bel-air vibes,” Tom wrote. “This house is magical.”

Stassi and Kristen Doute both wrote “I love you” to the third Witch of WeHo. Scheana Shay kept it subtle with a few heart emojis. However, Summer House OG Lindsay Hubbard had some insightful words to share. “Your emotions will ebb and flow, but your strength will carry you through,” HubbHouse wrote. Who knew she could be such a poet?

Dr. Lenny Hochstein Responds To Court Filing He Made Trying To Kick Wife Lisa Hochstein Out Of Their Mansion

The ugly divorce between Dr. Lenny Hochstein and Lisa Hochstein continues to play out in the media. Lisa, a cast member on Real Housewives of Miami, said she was blindsided last month when Lenny announced they were getting divorced. Not only that, but she found out about it like we all did – in the press. So Lenny has already moved on with his new girlfriend, Katharina Mazepa and isn’t even bothering to hide it. But now he has answer to the court documents he filed that essentially tried to kick Lisa out of their marital home.

As reported by Reality Blurb, Lenny revealed that despite that filing, he moved out of their $52 million home. He told Narcity, “I have chosen to move out of the family home. At some point, I do expect to be able to return but not before Lisa has a home that she can be happy in. The children will continue to live in the family home at all times.”

I would like to take a play out of Lenny’s bag of tricks and say, “nice try though.” Lenny seems to have a little habit of going back on what he says in the media. Likely when he realizes he looks like a complete jerk. When he was first busted out with Katharina, news outlets were abuzz that he and Lisa were getting divorced. His response to Page Six was, “Not true. Nice try though.”

Just days later, Lenny changed his tune and admitted that the two were getting divorced. He circled back to Page Six and said,“Lisa and I are getting divorced. A few weeks ago, I denied this because because I am trying my best to protect my family during this process.” Seems like Lenny might not know what it means to protect your family.

As the two went back and forth, Lenny then filed court documents that claimed Lisa wouldn’t move out of their home. According to Lenny, it was part of their prenuptial agreement. The filing stated, “The Wife has indicated she currently does not intend to vacate the Marital Home.” The “Wife” being Lisa. You know, the  mother of his two kids. Who was with him for 12 years. Yeah, that “Wife.” I know it’s an official court document using legal terminology but it still rubs me the wrong way. And I really just wanted to point out how cruel he’s being.

The filing continued that Lenny has “all steps necessary to comfortably transition the Wife to luxurious accommodation that is comfortable for her and the children.” He then asked the court to “enter an Order that establishes a date certain the Wife will vacate the residence in accordance with the Prenuptial Agreement.”

So, it seems as though Lenny has now backed off and let Lisa stay in their home. Which is exactly how it should be. Now that the matter is settled, he can get back to showing off with Katharina on social media. In a recent photo on her Instagram, Katharina posted a sexy black and white photo of herself. She captioned it, “I can be a handful sometimes,” and added a shrugging emoji.

Lenny being the doting new cheater boyfriend, commented a bunch of fire emojis and a pirates flag. Not sure what that’s for but clearly Katharina got the message, so to speak. She replied back with a kiss emoji and a pirate flag. Are pirates known for humiliating their significant others on social media or? Oh and I have a fun fact about commenting on Instagram. Dating back to October of last year, Katharina has been commenting on Lenny’s Instagram photos. Ones of him posing with Lisa! Even their wedding anniversary photo. She also used fire emojis but alas, no pirate flags.

RHOM is currently in production for season 5 so we will likely see all of this play out for the cameras. And hopefully Lisa will be filming from her rightful home.

Captain Glenn Shephard Names The Worst Charter Guests From Below Deck Sailing Yacht

Captain Glenn Shephard admitted bias when naming his favorite charter guests this season on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. It was something about sharing Canadian nationality wasn’t it? But truly, the latest group of charter guests were great fun, and all crew on board agreed the vibe, and tip, were tremendous.

But now that the season is coming to an end, the Parsifal III captain was asked to reflect on the charter guests that were hosted on Season 3.  Specifically, the good, the bad, and the worst of the worst.  Captain Glenn’s “least favorite” group, “is pretty obvious.”

Captain Glenn told Bravo’s The Daily Dish that his least favorite group were also the only people that found any fault with Chef Marcos Spaziani cooking. Remember the “ballpark” food comment? Yes, it was that trio of husband, wife, and mother that made it to the top of the distasteful list.

“Erica Rose and her husband, Charlie, and [mother] Cindi – to some degree messing up the sofa and trying to pretend it wasn’t her – they were probably the worst,” Captain Glenn said during a red carpet interview at NBC Universal upfront. “I don’t really like talking negatively about people.  They didn’t take care of the crew.  They kind of screwed the crew on, you know, they didn’t leave a normal tip. We don’t tell them how much to leave us in tip, but they left a really good tip last year. You go to the same restaurant two weeks in a row and you give a really good tip and then the next week you don’t, it’s like you’re saying something. So I felt like they were saying something negative to us, where we felt like we did a pretty good job of doing our best to take care of them, make sure they had a good holiday.”

Indeed, after incredibly demanding behavior, and smearing self-tanner on the lounge sofa, Erica’s charter group left a paltry $6,500 tip.  It worked out to $720 a person.  Hardly, worth the trouble.  The crew was shocked, but Captain Glenn tried to rationalize what happened.  “If somebody has a legitimite complaint, we take it very seriously, but they were just making stuff up, I think, to justify the tip they already decided before they even arrived,” he said, “I don’t know.  There was something going on.”

Ever the optimistic, Captain Glenn tried to be fair and said, “they weren’t terrible terrible.”  The crew had moments of “some fun” during the ordeal and that the accompanying guests, “were lovely” and “great.”

With that unpleasant recollection out of the way, Captain Glenn recalled other memorable guests.  They “had some great people” on the yacht.  One group requested a crew talent show.  That primary, Jim, “was really cool, his gang of poeple.” Captain Glenn said, “Oh my god, those guys were so much fun.”

Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher agreed that Jim top the list of “awesome guests.”  She said, “They were super fun, and they wanted to be there.  You know, you vibe off that energy.  People who want to be there, it makes our job easier.”

And while Daisy found Erica’s group difficult, her “biggest challenge” was Dr. Kim Nichols girls trip charter.  “The three of them were lovely, but the other three, they’re not bad people, but it’s that sort of level of demands, where even if we had a third stew, you can’t,” Daisy explained. “People who ask too much, we could never cater to them.  So that, for me, was probably the hardest charter I’ve ever done in my career.”

For sure, these nightmare charters will be rehashed during the Season 3 reunion, but as for what else will be discussed, Captain Glenn said, he didn’t “know what’s going to come up.” Crew drama for sure, including feedback from Tom Pearson and Gabriela Barragan as to why they left the season early.

“We had some issues. We lost a couple crew members. We had one kind of event that was, you know, not ideal,” Captain Glenn explained regarding the incident when Parisafal III dragged anchor.  “I’ve been 22 years on superyachts, never had that particular thing where we had the storm, and the person who’s meant to be watching the anchor watch didn’t do their job correctly, and we ended up stopping in shallow water, which is very serious. So, I don’t know. We’ll probably address stuff like that.”

Still, Captain Glenn is looking forward to having his whole crew together again.  “I think it’ll just be fun to see everyone together and chat and reminisce,” he said, “Obviously, there will be some drama.”

The seasoned Bravo-lebrity knows the drill, and expectations for drama that come with reality TV.  But Captain Glenn said the fame hasn’t gotten to his head and he’s still doing his “normal job,” continuing 13 years on Parsifal III.

“So it’s a job I do every day, been doing it a long time,” Captain Glenn explained, “And all of a sudden it’s on TV, and some of my friends and buddies in the industry and high school, they see me on TV, and it’s kind of interesting. I enjoy it. I especially enjoy sharing the concept of people working on superyachts to a younger audience that may be looking for a career path that’s a little different from a typical corporate world, a little more adventurous. I really like that aspect of it.”

It’s clear Captain Glenn is married to the job. “Something really special about working on these boats,” he exclaimed. “It’s hard work, but it’s more of a lifestyle. It’s not just a job. I mean, the boats are beautiful. Obviously, we have a lot of interesting, beautiful people working on the boat, beautiful guests coming on the boat, interesting people from all walks of life. So, yeah, it’s good fun. And the exotic locations don’t hurt, right?”

And while Captain Glenn always dismissed the idea of marriage, he revealed there is, “someone in my life.” He added, “but we don’t really want that out in the public eye, at this stage anyway. Maybe in the future.”

His relationship certainly hasn’t affected his life at sea.  For now, Captain Glenn is still at the helm.  He said, “I’m happy. I’m cruising aroud in my sailboat in France.  I have some time off right now.  I go back to Parsifal in about two or three weeks.  So that’s what I do. If I’m not working, if the weather’s right, I’m on my boat.”

Selling Sunset Star Chelsea Lazkani Accuses Davina Potratz Of Microaggressions Off-Camera

Chelsea Lazkani turned heads immediately when she joined the cast of Selling Sunset. What do you expect when you join as Christine Quinn’s friend with an equally stacked closet?! Not to mention Christine had a feud going with almost every other cast member and needed someone in her corner! Chelsea did her own thing, though, and seemed able to establish herself just fine with the other women at the Oppenheim Group without issue. Everyone except Davina Potratz.

Chelsea and Davina clashed more than once during Season 5. First over a group tea party, and then again during a one-on-one coffee date. “There were things said off-camera and before we shot that really affected my mental state,” Chelsea told People.

“There were some microaggressions thrown out, and watching the show back, I realized that I was very much harboring that state of frustration.” Chelsea added, “You see me kind of escalate to a place of, maybe one could say, anger as a result.”

Season 5 of Selling Sunset treated viewers to the show’s first-ever reunion. Somehow, none of this was covered. Leave it to Adam DiVello I guess. During the filming, Chelsea and Davina seemed to clear the air, with Davina, in particular, seeming ready to move on.

“We don’t have to be super close friends to be cordial with one another,” Chelsea said. “I have the utmost respect for Davina and all of my castmates, truly, but I also believe that we can have different values and different core systems that may not align.” Will Season 6 give us more on that??

Chelsea mused that there were parts of her the other women simply don’t understand. “Maybe my background, maybe the fact that I was so strong and I did come across as having loads of opinions, but everything was purposeful.” Chelsea explained she “didn’t have a voice” when she was younger, so she was determined to come on the show as her “most authentic self.”

Chelsea doesn’t seem concerned about her future at the Oppenheim Group, either. Even though her ally Christine has kicked rocks. “What you didn’t see on camera is my relationship with a lot of the other girls had started to evolve very early on,” she said. “I have many relationships at The O Group, not just Christine.”

Jen Shah Explains Why She Didn’t Watch The Hulu Documentary About Herself; Says It’s “TV Tabloid Trash”

Jen Shah’s arrest in March of 2021 rocked the world of Housewives. Although fans had already been following Erika Jayne’s legal issues, Jen’s alleged crimes were directly against her. And her arrest played out on the second season premiere of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, providing viewers with additional fodder.

According to the NYPD, Jen’s federal charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and money laundering stem from long-running telemarketing scheme. They alleged that Jen, along with her assistant, Stuart Smith, conned “hundreds” of victims over 9 years. They were accused of selling lists of potential victims, the vast majority of them being elderly.

Naturally, fans were riveted by the news and wanted more information. And just like Erika, Jen had a Hulu documentary made about her troubles. Now Jen is finally speaking out about the doc, titled “The Housewife & the Shah Shocker.” As reported by Page Six, Jen recent spoke with YouTuber Adam Newell on his show, Up and Adam Live! As for whether or not she watched, Jen said,“I saw little tidbits here and there, right? But the documentary itself, I didn’t watch it because, first of all, they didn’t talk to me.”

She continued, “They didn’t bring on credible sources or any facts or evidence pertaining to what I’m going through.” She then dubbed the show “TV tabloid trash” and that she had “no interest” in watching. The doc was released in November 21st of 2021. Jen added, “That was my perception of it because I knew it wasn’t based in any facts. So I didn’t watch it at all and my family didn’t watch it.”

The documentary revolves around Jen’s arrest, along with the accusations that she ran a nationwide telemarketing scam. The charges have Jen facing a staggering 50 years in prison. Included in the film, there were interviews from Jen’s childhood classmate, along with her aunt. In addition, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills hanger-on, Dana Wilkey, also participated. You might remember her from Erika’s documentary as well. Aside from those “close” to Jen, the doc also interviewed two alleged victims.

Jen’s original trial was scheduled for March but it is now set to take place in New York City on July 8th. Jen previously argued that the release of the Hulu doc violated her right to a fair trial. Her attorney told the judge, “given both the extensive viewership of Hulu nationwide and Ms. Shah’s public notoriety, a change in venue would not protect Ms. Shah’s rights, nor would alternative remedies such as a detailed voir dire or emphatic jury instructions.”

While Jen has pleaded not guilty to the charges against her, Stuart  has since changed his plea to guilty. After being labeled as Jen’s accomplice, he accepted three charges against him. Those charges were listed as conspiracy to commit wire fraud, money laundering and obstructing an official proceeding.

During the season 2 RHOSLC reunion, Andy Cohen addressed Jen’s legal problems head on. She told him, “You’re stronger than you think you are. If you can get through the impact of the initial news or whatever you’re going through, you’re going to be OK.”

The Bachelor Alum Lauren Bushnell And Chris Lane Have A Second Baby On The Way

Former Season 20 winner of The Bachelor Lauren Bushnell (she was previously engaged to Bachelor Ben Higgins) surprised her husband, county singer Chris Lane, with news that they are expanding their family — sooner than expected!

The country star and his wife are expecting baby number two in late October, they confirmed to People. Their second child will join son Dutton Walker, who turns 1 this week.

“To be quite honest, I’ve never been more shocked in my entire life, because this was very much an unexpected surprise,” Lauren said, revealing that in her excitement to show Chris the positive pregnancy test earlier this year, she interrupted him as he was putting the baby down for a nap.

“I was just so in shock that I came running into Dutton’s room and flipped the light on really quick. And Chris was like, ‘What are you doing? I’m trying to get our child to go to sleep! Can you turn the light off?!’ And I was like, ‘I’m pregnant’ — just in shock. And he was equally shocked when I gave him that news.”

“When we found out, Dutton was almost 8 months old and I didn’t feel anything. I truly had no symptoms. I was actually more so taking a pregnancy test just to reconfirm that was not what was going on! And to my surprise and to Chris’ surprise, it was very much positive.”

“We had planned on having at least two kids,” Lauren continued, “so we’re very thankful that it was able to happen for us, even if it wasn’t necessarily on our exact timing. We’re both just incredibly excited.”

The pregnancy has brought the couple, who married in October 2019, “even closer, when I didn’t think that was possible,” said Chris, who will be playing fairs and festivals this summer. “We make a great team.”

The Bachelor Alum Becca Tilley Says Taylor Swift Was One Of The First People Who Knew She Was Dating Hayley Kiyoko

Former two-time contestant on  The Bachelor Becca Tilley is in love!

After keeping their relationship private for the past four years,  Becca is now sharing details of her romance with singer Hayley Kiyoko — including the fact that Taylor Swift was one of the first people outside of their inner circle to know about them.

As reported in E! News, Becca was in Boston to see Hayley perform with Taylor and got to meet the superstar in her dressing room after the show.

Meeting Taylor “felt like talking to a friend,” the reality star said, and having the 11-time Grammy winner be one of the first people to know about them was pretty special. “I thought that was a really cool thing,” she said, “because obviously Taylor Swift stan forever.”

Becca, who appeared on both Chris Soules‘ and Ben Higgins‘ seasons of The Bachelor, publicly confirmed her relationship with Hayley in a video shared to Instagram on May 20. When asked to sum up last weekend in a Taylor song, Becca picked two tracks from Taylor’s album 1989, “Out of the Woods” and “Clean.” She explained why she chose the first track, “That whole song, like, really encompasses me, my experience and my relationship.”

Just hours before the video was posted, Hayley released the music video for her song “For the Girls,” featuring a queer version of The Bachelorette. Becca even made a cameo at the end of the video.

“Obviously we knew the video was happening and that was going to at least cause talk and speculation,” Becca said. “And in my mind I thought, ‘How do we do this reveal in the video and then not actually reveal our relationship?’ It only made sense to do it together.”

Still, Becca made it clear she was never hiding her relationship with Hayley. “For four years, it’s been our relationship, but I was telling someone the other day, like, Hayley and I were never secret,” she said. “Like, we were very much ourselves, we held hands in public, we kissed . . . If I was with Hayley, I introduced her, ‘This is my girlfriend, Hayley.’ I never was like, ‘This is my friend’ or ‘This is my best friend.’ I really made an effort to make sure there was that distinction between private and secret.”

Even though she knew their friends, family and fans would champion their relationship, Becca said there was still a part of her that was nervous to share their love with the world.

“There was this other part of me that had been fearing the reaction of people for four years,” she said. “There was that ‘Do I want to let that negativity enter our relationship?’ When I made the decision to go public with it, I thought, ‘I have this army of people who have my back no matter what and, like, the people who I care about most in the world are our supporters and they love us.’ So, I was prepared for anything and everything. I was not prepared for the amount of love and support we got.”

While speaking about the loving comments of support they’ve received, Becca teared up. “Hayley has really made me feel brave,” she continued, “and she was always like, ‘People are going to love you. People love you and they want to see you happy.’ ”

And she doesn’t feel the need to label her sexuality. “For me, it was never about my label,” Becca said. “Having the label and being able to name what they’ve experienced is really important for some people. That just wasn’t my experience . . . It’s not like, ‘This is my label. This is my sexuality.’ It’s more like, ‘Hey, I’m in love and I’m excited to share it with you all.’ ”

After looking unsuccessfully for love on two different seasons of The Bachelor, isn’t it nice to see Becca happy and in love? Now that they’ve gone public with their relationship, maybe we’ll see Becca and Hayley together on the Grammy Red Carpet one day soon!
