We want to hear ye, hear ye thoughts! Bridgerton season two debuted the sexiest couple (next to Daphne and the Duke, obviously) of the Regency Era: Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma. But...For the remainder of Real Housewives of New Jersey history and beyond, Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga will butt heads. Tarzan and Joe Giudice will forever be enemies, especially since Juicy got Joe’s sister taken away to “camp.” It’s also a sore subject with Tre’s four dorters, so that always adds fuel to the fire. Teresa and Melissa Gorga will just never be best friends, even if their relationship has improved light-years from the sprinkle cookies of it all. The Giudice/Gorga orbit is all about loyalty and once that’s messed with, problems tend to follow.
Even though Joe’s spend this season feuding with Gia Giudice and trying to get Luis Ruelas to come clean about his past, he’s still got some beef with his sister. Namely, Tre went on Watch What Happens Live to proudly reveal that none of her RHONJ co-stars will be included in her bridal party. The word on the street (AKA the gossip at POSCHE spread by Kim DePaola) is that Dina Manzo will be Tre’s Maid of Honor. The Queen has yet to confirm it, but it does spark an interesting conversation.
Dina and Tre have been tight since way before RHONJ Season 1. It would make sense for her to be involved in the special day. It is peculiar that Dolores Catania wouldn’t at least be a bridesmaid considering her history with Tre. Naturally, it leads me to believe that Caroline Manzo is the issue at hand. Typical. Caroline is the worst sister ever to Dina, therefore, she’s on Tre’s list. Meanwhile, Dolo claims to not be so fond of Dina for reasons unknown. I’m already loving all the drama with the royal Jersey wedding. Bravo, I smell a spinoff.
As is typical with all issues among the wives, Joey G. decided to chime in. Tarzan recently appeared on the Side Piece with Melissa Pfeister podcast to slam his sister yet again. *Cue Taylor Swift singing “I think I’ve seen this film before/And I didn’t like the ending”.
Joe basically rehashed the whole idea that MelGo learned that she was being excluded from Tre’s wedding by tuning into WWHL like the rest of us. “I just sat there and listened. Melissa got a little upset,” Joe said. It was apparently a blow, even though I feel like Melissa should have seen it coming. Teresa has never been shy about her strong opinions regarding her sister-in-law.
If you follow Joe on Instagram, you know he loves an inspirational quote. So of course, he had to make it a whole ordeal about family values. He claims it has nothing to do with the fact that MelGo won’t be standing by Teresa’s side at the altar, even though it was the catalyst to this whole thing.
“It’s more like there isn’t any respect,” Joe explained. “My sister, she was completely wrong, 100 percent.” Tarzan went on a spiel about how he would always include Teresa and her man, regardless of his personal feelings about his brother-in-law. Frankly, it sounds like Joey G. playing producer to keep Melissa’s name in our mouths. We know MelGo is always short on storylines, so Joe always relies on the drama with his sister to keep those Bravo checks coming in.

The City of Gold is about to get even more glitzy. On April 1, Bravo revealed a sneak peek of its highly-anticipated new series, The Real Housewives of Dubai, which will officially...At this point, Bravo has totally perfected the Real Housewives formula. The producers are always making tweaks and alterations to keep fans interested season after season, but they’re pros. Bravo has really mastered quite a few reality TV formulas over the years. Top Chef continues to be one of the most interesting food competition shows on TV, same with Project Runway in the fashion realm. Now, the network is having its hand at a new kind of dating show, fueled by the same petty drama that makes shows in the Bravo/Peacock universe go great.
According to E! Online, Bravo is gearing up to release a show following some of Atlanta’s most successful matchmakers. The show is called Love Match Atlanta and will be premiering on May 8. It will follow five real-life cupids based in the ATL. Maybe they can help Real Housewives of Atlanta stars like Kenya Moore find Mr. Right, for once.
First, we have Shae Primus, the CEO of Middle-Class Matchmaker. Shae is all about the psychology of love, so she ensures that her clients are mentally strong before finding them a perfect match. She’s a newly single mom who always keeps it real, which will seemingly create some major frenemy dynamics on the show.
The series will also follow Matchmaking Duo owners Kelli Fisher and Tana Gilmore. This duo knows what it takes to be a top boss, and their company is one of the most sought-after services in the U.S. They spend months essentially making over their clients before finding them their perfect match.
Finally, we have Ming Clark, owner of Color Blind International, and Joseph Dixon, the CEO of RealBlackLove.com. Ming actually met her husband because he was one of her matchmaking clients. She has a major focus on interracial dating and helping clients step out of their comfort zones in order to find love. Joseph launched his own dating app in 2013, which is where he met his girlfriend who is also now his business partner.
Love Match Atlanta will provide an interesting look into the world of modern-day matchmaking, especially in such a unique city. The trailer for the show makes it a point to note that there are more women than men in Atlanta, which adds even more complexity to the dating scene. I, for one, am excited to have another Bravo show to add to my roster.

But perhaps their greatest talent is pulling off some of...The romantic crossover we didn’t expect but makes a lot of sense. Reality Blurb reports Vanderpump rules star Raquel Leviss and Shahs of Sunset star Nema Vand are allegedly dating. The two are in the same Beverly hills area and both single, as Raquel broke off her engagement with VPR’s James Kennedy at the end of last year.
An Instagram account posted March 27th, “New couple alert!! Raquel and Nema dating??!!!! Thank you to a follower for this information.” The caption accompanied a screenshot of a DM from a follower reading, “No. She’s dating Nema Vand- the guy from Shahs of Sunset. He flew her to NYC to visit like last week. I’m close to some of the cast, this is just my finsta.” Since the post, Raquel and Nema have stayed mum, neither confirming nor denying, and the fans… are eating it up.
If the pairing still seems a little random despite them both being from the Bravoverse, Nema does have a personal connection to Raquel. It turns out he once dated her Vanderpump Rules co-star Scheana Shay!
Many of the comments under the post showed that people love the idea of these two together. One Instagram account posted, “Nema is actually nice. This would be such a lovely couple,”. Another account shared, “I love this for her,”. “OMG yes!” One user account responded. Another account shared their surprise, and delight “Wait. What? I think I might love this!” It seems the internet consensus is these two could make a great match.
When Raquel and James announced their divorce in the Season 9 Vanderpump Rules reunion, despite obvious signs leading up, fellow cast members were shocked. James moved on rather quickly, posting with an unknown woman just 2 months after the split. At around the same time, Raquel shared with Scheana on an episode of the Scheananigans podcast that she wasn’t ready to start dating. Since then, James has become official with new girlfriend, Ally Lewber.
Raquel revealed on the podcast, some lessons learned from her relationship with James, “I do want somebody that treats other people with kindness and respect continuously and not just for a means to an end. I also want someone with a good sense of humor. I feel like since I am more of a mellow person I like when people bring out the fun side of me.”
The fact that her ex-fiancé never jived well with her family is something she wants to look out for going forward. She explained, “[And] someone that gets along with my family, someone who is able to provide for me emotionally, someone who is confident in my relationship and doesn’t get jealous.”
She also expressed her hope for someone that is “aware that [his] actions impact other people’s lives” and “someone who hasn’t given up on humanity.” We have to say, it sounds like we’re talking about someone quite unlike James.
“I want a selfless type of love… I’ve never had that type of love before,” she concluded. Raquel, one of the indisputably sweetest cast member of Vanderpump Rules, certainly deserves it.
We love to see how Raquel has grown throughout her relationship with James and with that growth, she’s gained a strong understanding of what she needs in a life partner. We’re rooting for, and excited for what’s in store for her. If that happens to be a liaison with a certain handsome toothy Bravoleb, we’re here for it!

Love is Blind is long over but the drama between the cast and former fiancé’s continues. The emerging villain from all this is Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee. His social media and interviews about former fiancé Deepti Vempati are giving me whiplash to be honest. After the show ended, Shake continued his quest of being a jerk by refusing to apologize for his actions. Then he did just that, apologizing publicly to Deepti. He went on to call cohost Nick Lachey a “twat” because of how he treated Shake at the reunion. As if that wasn’t enough, Shake then debuted a new girlfriend, which no one really seemed to care about. So what’s his problem now? The budding relationship between Deepti and Kyle Abrams, their former castmate.
Deepti and Kyle have been spotted together, sparking rumors of a relationship. In fact, Kyle even admitted at the reunion that he messed up when it came to Deepti. He revealed, “Biggest regret is I should have asked Deepti to marry me. That’s what I learned the most. I f—ked up. I should have tried harder for you. I love her so much, she’s the best. And I wish I saw what was right in front of me and that’s my biggest regret. I’m sorry.” Deepti has since admitted that they are “figuring it out.”
Now here comes Shake with his negative attitude. As reported by Us Weekly, Shake is not buying the relationship between his former castmates. A source explained, “Shake would give Kyle and Deepti his blessing and would genuinely be happy for them if it were true that they were dating. But, he thinks it’s a fake relationship.” And why would Deepti and Kyle need Shake’s blessing? They continued, “He’s known them as being friends and not having a sexual relationship. He feels like they’re both using each other to get more clout and are milking the whole ‘are we dating, are we not dating?’ He finds it distasteful and sad.”
So it’s not shocking that Deepti and Shake continue to be on bad terms. The insider went on, “Shake hasn’t spoken to Deepti since the reunion, apart from some texts back and forth following the reunion. He questions why she stayed with him until the end if everyone kept telling her all these horrible things about him.” They added that Shake believes Deepti is playing “the victim card.”
The source also disclosed about Shake, “He feels like he doesn’t owe [Deepti] anything including an explanation and that she should move on because it’s been a year since they were together. She’s not relevant in his life anymore. Because he’s already apologized for hurting her, he feels like he doesn’t owe her anything anymore and she should stop talking about him to the public.”
In addition, the insider said that Shake isn’t in contact with any of his former Love is Blind castmates. All because they “chose to align with Deepti.” The source concluded, “He was friends with them when it was being filmed but once the show came out, everything changed. He feels like the cast chose what was best for their image.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey newbie Traci Johnson hasn’t been shy about sharing her opinion of Teresa Giudice. During the Season 12 premiere, Traci and her husband, Tiki Barber, had dinner with Melissa Gorga and her husband, Joe Gorga. Traci immediately questioned Teresa’s relationship with her fiancé, Luis “Louie” Ruelas and that strange video that he was in.
The RHONJ cast was confused by the video. Margaret Josephs led the charge to get answers, which annoyed Teresa.
At the Jersey Shore, a long-simmering feud between Melissa and Jennifer Aydin exploded. Jennifer called Joe “a little bitch,” and Melissa charged at Jennifer. Teresa seemed unfazed.
Joe was upset that his sister, Teresa, didn’t have his back. In fact, Teresa sided with Jennifer and claimed that the argument was Melissa’s fault because Melissa’s started the social media squabble.
Traci was shocked by Teresa’s actions and called Teresa “hypocritical” for the way that she treated her brother. Get used to it, girl.
At boys’ night, Tiki asked Louie about rumors that he was abusive to a woman in his past. Louie said there was no violence and told some crazy story about his ex-fiancée being really thirsty.
Naturally, Teresa was table-flipping furious when she found out that Tiki was quizzing Louie. “Usually, guys don’t do their woman’s dirty work,” Teresa remarked.
Traci told Entertainment Tonight that dealing with Teresa is tricky. “It’s like a Teresa tornado blows in; you never know, just as in a tornado, what kind of weather you’re going to really get,” Traci explained. “She can definitely shock you with things she says.”
The freshman cast member continued, “There’s some moments that leave me scratching my head going, ‘did she really just say that to me?’ But you just have to be ready for all of it and realize her bark is a lot worse than her bite most of the time.” Traci added, “She can come off as very loud, but it’s usually not that harmful.” Oh, Teresa will love that. Traci truly isn’t afraid of the Jersey “OG.”
At the treescape ropes course, Teresa came in hot. She refused to partner with Traci for the activity, and instead Teresa slammed Traci for having Tiki ask Louie questions. “You cannot be mad at me for something my husband said,” Traci stated. “I am not Tiki’s keeper. I never tell him what to do — nor would he tell me what to do.”
Traci remarked, “I’m sure, 100 percent, he’s heard me talking with all the other girls about these Louie videos and allegations that have arisen in the past. I think he just was like, well, I really wonder what’s going on?” One of the Jersey husbands needed to step up and ask the awkward questions. “So, the fact that she’s annoyed at me for something my husband did is ridiculous, but pretty typical of Teresa,” Traci commented.
When Tiki mentioned Louie’s concerning history at boys’ night, he said that “my wife” was in his ear about the allegations. “I was asking him. I was asking Joe Gorga. I was asking everyone like, what is with these videos? They’re bizarre,” Traci explained. “What’s with these allegations that keep being popped up on Instagram all the time from these various outlets? I think Tiki finally was like, well, stop asking me, stop asking Joe. Ask the source.”
Traci added, “I think she should honestly be happy that Louie had a chance to tell his side of the story.” Unfortunately, none of Louie’s explanations make sense.

After that zany, chaotic Tribal Council last week, things seemed to calm back down this week on Survivor. We were treated to a fairly straight-forward episode, one that was perhaps this season’s weakest to date. That’s OK, given the strength of the previous three! But there were no huge developments and no fireworks to speak of at Tribal Council, ending in an elimination that was eyebrow-raising if you consider where the tribe was at to begin the episode, but not all that surprising considering where things went during the course of the hour.
The episode began with the fallout and aftermath from that crazy Tribal that had sent Jenny home after her tribe had nearly gone to rocks. Daniel all but imploded, and when returning to camp it was clear that his head was still spinning. Chanelle tried to salvage the little bit of her game that remained after Daniel threw most of it under the bus, but it was Hai that really seemed to make the most of the situation. Still close with Lydia, Hai ceased this moment back at camp to bring Mike into the fold…Mike was left shell-shocked after Jenny was sent packing, but does he really want to align himself with the sinking ship that is Daniel/Chanelle? Teaming with Hai and Lydia – who mutually need Mike – the three will have the majority and can now decide who is the bigger threat: Daniel or Chanelle, should they go back to Tribal Council.
A Reward Challenge gave Jonathan another chance to show his dominance as a competitor, but a slip of the tongue ended up rubbing his tribemates the wrong way. When asked after the challenge about how they performed, Jonathan mentioned something about how amazingly tight their four are, referring to himself, Maryanne, Omar and Lindsay. He didn’t necessarily want to paint a target on them as a foursome, but he did just that. But let’s be real: Jonathan has already proven himself to be a major threat, and a massive target. So this might all be more of a big deal for Omar and Maryanne than for Jonathan, but we shall see if this has any long-term effects as the season progresses.
Beyond that, all of the drama this week occurred at the Blue Tribe, where Tori was solidly on the bottom. But just like she did to avoid getting her torch snuffed in the premiere episode, she is proving to be a real survivor, with a strong enough social game that continues to save her skin when her back is against the wall. Swati and Tori seemed close, and Swati was beginning to see Drea as a major threat…heck, Drea has an extra vote and seems to be in a comfy spot on the tribe. Swati calculates that if they can bring in Rocksroy, they can blindside Drea. But they underestimate Rocksroy’s loyalty, and even though they divulge to him that Drea is packing an extra vote advantage (something he did not yet know), things end up going sideways when they all start to compare notes. As it turns out, Romeo, Rocksroy, Tori and Drea had all been told by Swati that they are her “number one.” Uh oh. So even though Tori had clearly been the most untrustworthy player of the bunch, all eyes were on Swati. Romeo said it the clearest when he pointed out that although Swati is very young, she is playing very hard socially.
Once they had a reason to vote Swati out, Swati could do very little to save herself…although she tried. Although Rocksroy ended up voting for Tori and not Swati, the others all cast their vote on Swati. Swati must have known that she was in big trouble, because she sacrificed her vote to play her “shot in the dark” which could have saved her. However, there has yet to be a successful “shot” taken in Survivor history, and when Jeff Probst revealed that Swati’s shot had indeed failed, her fate was sealed.
I think we’re just one episode removed from a tribe swap of some kind, or at least it feels overdue? It seems like forever ago when tribes would so evenly be divided…even though Jonathan‘s tribe has dominated, the fact that there have been three tribes thus far have yielded a good mix of tribes at Tribal Council from week to week. The tribes now stand at 5-4-4, so the question also stands: Will there even be a tribe swap? Or are we going to just go straight into the merge? The merge often happens at 12, and next week’s preview did not indicate any sort of “drop your buffs” situation. As I think about it, it’s unlikely they would swap the following week for just one week. So maybe because the tribe’s have been so evenly divided thus far, this allows them to just keep three tribes until merge? I guess we shall see!
One other quick Survivor note: It was announced today that the THREE-HOUR Finale of Survivor 42 is set for Wednesday, May 25th, so mark your calendars!
Episode Take-Away: A bit of a ho-hum episode, where we weren’t given anything too shocking or, frankly, memorable. Poor Maryanne keeps looking a fool at the Immunity Challenge, having to say her silly phrase but without the other tribes jumping in on the fun. I am really liking Jonathan and his impressive competitiveness, but I’m getting vibes that he’s way too nice of a guy to make it to the end…although I would be all about watching him win every single Individual Immunity Challenge on his way to the million dollar prize. Wouldn’t that be fun? He floated the idea this episode that he’s the perfect shield, but does anybody want to risk going up against him down the stretch? A final word on Swati: She was likable enough and was clearly a strong player, but proves once again that this game is even more challenging for younger players…life experience becomes a major asset in the game of Survivor, and that’s just something that a 20-year-old just can’t bring enough of. It’s possible her tribe votes out Rocksroy next should they return to Tribal, as I wouldn’t put it past Tori to sneak by yet again. And although she’s been playing from the bottom, look out for her come merge: She is a savvy social player that will not be first on many people’s radars, and she has no real alliance or loyalty, making her an attractive extra vote for all of the other alliances post-merge. She is definitely one to watch.

Time to dust off your floaty crowny things, because the Fairly Oddparents are back. For season’s we’ve been teased, with crew and editing working together to making you feel that with every ‘pull in’ and ‘out’ of a marina, an accident could happen; it was almost just a matter of when. Now thanks to its newest spin off, Below Deck Down Under we are getting some insight as to who could foot the bill when one of these superyachts sustains significant damage, and, it’s messy to say the least.
Starcasm reports, the Bravo reality show producers, Mountain View Productions LLC, are being sued by the owners of the Thalassa yacht for over $9 million in damages. I suppose, it was foolish to think it was as easy as yacht insurance?
The 55 foot yacht’s actual name is M/Y Kery Lee III and owned by Australian couple Trevor Lee, a Australian beef entrepreneur and Kery Craig- Lee, a fashion designer. Via their company Keri Lee Charters Pty Ltd (KLC), they are suing MVP, alleging that the vessel was damaged during a Below Deck charter.
Unfortunately for us, the lawsuit is being managed in April by an independent arbitrator and will not be made public. There is however the initial legal dispute as to whether the production company could subpoena the companies that inspected the yacht before and after the damage. Those documents are public and revealed some clues about what could be going on in the lawsuit.
The documents detail that Keri Lee Charters Pty Ltd (KLC) alleges 12.85 million in damages occurred during a May charter. The timing supports their case, as filming happened during the months of May to June in 2021. As for what was damaged, it appears the keel may have been affected as it is noted in the documents, the “keel of the vessel was laid in November 1998 and it was launched in 2002”.
The documents also discuss the paint job on the hull noting, “The vessel was most recently refurbished in 2020. Although the points of claim say that the refurbishment was ‘in or about late 2020 and early 2021’, the on hire survey report records that various areas of the hull paint (exterior) were newly applied in September 2020. I infer that that is likely to have occurred near the end of the refurbishment rather than at the commencement. In order to cover the refurbishment and the lead up to it, I consider that it is justified to require production of the categories of documents sought by items 4 and 5 of the schedule from 1 January 2020.” The judge ruled in the favor of MVP, giving them the ability to subpoena the companies involved in the inspections.
As for the crew, it is not clear who was manning the vessel during the time the damage occurred. For Captain Jason Chambers‘ part, this would not be the first time he’s had to batten down the hatches while sailing. As the captain explained on the show, he once crashed into a marina with a similar sized superyacht, though thankfully no one was hurt. Video footage of the crash shows the harrowing moment where vessel Moatize malfunctioned and was strategically steered by Captain Sinbad Jason to avoid a restaurant trawler with people on it. We have a crush, can you tell?
It’s evident this captain is experienced, as he needs to be. Already on the new spin off, viewers have seen the crew navigating some tricky waters. It’s interesting how the different Below Deck spin offs explain the nuances of their environment and Down Under, is no different, treating viewers to the thrill of a more piratey sailing experience. Captain and crew are often referencing the challenges of maneuvering the difficult Australian waters. One of the marinas they frequent, Airle Beach’s Coral Sea Marina, has such extreme tides that at times, it is inaccessible by the superyacht. The waters are also filled with reefs, posing their own unique risks to the team.
If, as their mention in the court documents implies, the Hull and Keel of Thalassa were damaged, from recent knowledge gained from Below deck Sailing Yacht, it sounds like they potentially ran aground. According to Captain Glenn Shephard, this can be even worse than crashing into a dock.
Interestingly enough however, no footage of such a disaster has been teased in any way on the show. It is possible they could surprise us but Bravo editors run a tight ship, pardon the pun. If something of this magnitude happened is there really a chance it wasn’t filmed or that they wouldn’t tease about it in the season trailer to ensure momentum for the season’s start?
This, along with no noted mention of footage in the court documents, has me worried we may never see the 12-million-dollar drama unfold. Guess we will have to wait and sea.

The movie-and-television industry isn't all glitz and glamour. In the Sundance Now Original Series 10 Percent, based on the French series of the same title (Dix Pour Cent),...You might have heard by now and if you haven’t, let me fill you in on the exciting news. Andy Cohen just announced that Real Housewives of New York will be separated into two franchises. First, they will completely reboot the mainstay franchise, which premiered back in 2008. While Andy hasn’t confirmed any casting decisions, it sounds like they are looking for a completely new cast. Secondly, they will add another extension of the franchise that will feature previous RHONY cast members. It doesn’t have a title yet, but around Bravo, they are calling it RHONY: Throwback or RHONY: Legacy. Also no word on casting yet or where the show will appear. But Bravo now has the option to work franchises into Peacock.
But how did we get here? Andy spoke with Variety and explained just how season 13 changed the entire trajectory of the franchise. Andy was asked about when he realized the season wasn’t working. He reluctantly admitted, “I think that we’ve put last season of RHONY under so much scrutiny and trial that I hate to rehash. When we were shooting, we only had five Housewives, we were shooting during COVID, we were tremendously limited as to where we could shoot. And this was a show that was really shot differently than all the other cities, because New York City is very much a huge character in the show.”
He added, “That all aside, I think that if you look at any series, where the ratings are declining week to week as the series goes on, and the viewer feedback is growing disenchanted on social media, etc. I think that was a big red flag for us. Because this is a beloved show. And that’s part of the reason why it’s taken a bit for us to just sit with this and figure out how we want to make this right, and make it a gift to the fans, which I think this will wind up being.”
One has to wonder how big of a role the ratings played in the cancellation of the RHONY reunion. Or was it the allegations against Ramona Singer of racially inventive comments, which led to an internal investigation? Ramona has emphatically denied the claims. Either way, cancelling the reunion really was unprecedented. In addition, it took Bravo so long to announce it would be cancelled, fans didn’t even care. But the RHONY finale of the season was in September. So ultimately, it gave Bravo plenty of time to think through what would happen next.
According to Andy, “It’s been long and thought out, but in truth, we really just started having the most serious conversations over the last few months. Because we also just wanted to sit and get some air and recalibrate. This is a show that’s gone back into production very closely after the reunion every year. That’s why we also just wanted to give everybody a minute to live their lives. And then it let us figure it out, if we could do anything — which we can — what would we do?”
He noted, “We’ve also seen the success of [Real Housewives] Ultimate Girls Trip. That informed the idea of doing this throwback, that’s allowed us to say, ‘Well, wait a minute, there is a big desire for an element of nostalgia.'” In addition, fans were talking about watching the good old days of RHONY. They even did rewatches on other streaming services. I can personally attest to doing that and there really was reality tv magic in the early seasons. Said Andy, “And I heard from more people over the last two years that they have rewatched RHONY from the beginning. And how much they love early seasons of RHONY. I just think there are a lot of people who hold this particular franchise very dear to their hearts, and also have a lot of nostalgia about it. I think that this throwback version will be playing on that. This is why I think both ideas are a gift to the fans.”
But when it comes to the cast of season 13, Andy fully confessed that they have been anxiously waiting for news. He revealed, “I was hearing from them a lot last year. But I have to say, especially given that this group is usually a group that is very like, ‘When are we starting? What’s the plan?’ You know, they’re aggressive! And they’re Type A.” Andy concluded, “They’ve really all respected the fact that we’re gonna figure this out, and we’ll let you know. So they’ve been very relaxed, especially considering that this is a group of people that I would not necessarily typically characterize as relaxed.”

Just in time for the Real Housewives of New York City “legacy” spinoff, Aviva Drescher’s life is getting a little more interesting. According to a report from the New York Post, the former RHONY star’s husband, Reid Drescher, is being accused of extortion after he allegedly tried to leverage his celebrity connections to swindle a marijuana company into an investment deal.
So, here’s what happened. Reid controls a private equity firm called the Gateway Privileged Fund LLC. Reid and his company claimed to have access to a bunch of money, and they sought to invest in a Los Angeles-based marijuana grower called P&S Ventures LLC. In a lawsuit filed by P&S Ventures, they claim that Reid lied about having access to funds, which led them to accept a $5.4 million investment from Drescher’s LLC in exchange for stock.
The lawsuit says, “Drescher bragged that he was a cousin of Fran Drescher, who played The Nanny in the television series of that name, and that his wife, Aviva Drescher, was on Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York, claiming to have many celebrity contacts as a result.”
As it turns out, those “celebrity contacts” didn’t help his investment firm raise much money at all. In their 2019 securities filing, their records show that they raised only $1 million out of a projected $120 million — less than 1% of the goal.
Based on that track record, Reid was allegedly forced to admit that he didn’t have $5.4 million to invest. He ultimately only contributed $1.35 million to the weed company. The lawsuit claims that the shortfall in Reid’s investment was “highly destructive,” essentially sending P&S Ventures into a tailspin. Now, they’re seeking compensatory and punitive damages, and they also want their contract with Gateway Fund canceled.
Meanwhile, Reid’s lawyer, Richard Roth, claims that this lawsuit is all nonsense. In an interview with the New York Post, he clapped back at the case, calling it a “frivolous contract claim,” and promised a countersuit. He said, “The entity that is being sued will be filing some very serious counterclaims. We’re going to file a massive counterclaim here. We’re going to hold the plaintiffs responsible for their contractual obligations.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has found her soulmate, and she isn’t listening to any whispers about her fiancé Luis “Louie” Ruelas. There is some questionable baggage in Louie’s past, including that bizarre video from a warrior-style camp. Teresa’s RHONJ co-star Margaret Josephs asked a lot of questions and pissed Teresa off.
Teresa has a message for all the haters. “I say like, ‘Please mind your business,’” the mother of four stated. Needless to say, Margaret isn’t holding her breath for a wedding invite.
Louie proposed to Teresa in Porto, Heli, Greece. And he pulled out all the stops. There were roses, candles, a violinist, and fireworks. Teresa’ bestie, and former RHONJ co-star, Dina Manzo was there for the proposal, with her husband, David Cantin.
Dina posted a video of the proposal on Instagram and wrote that she “sobbed like a baby” when Louie popped the question.
During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Teresa shared some details about her wedding. It will happen this summer, and there will be eight ladies in her bridal party. None of her Teresa’s RHONJ co-stars will be in the wedding, not even her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga.
Kim DePaola has popped out of the woodwork with some information about Teresa and Louie’s big day. Remember that Kim D. was behind “strippergate,” when she plotted to take down Melissa, possibly with Teresa’s help. In February of 2021, Kim D. alleged that Louie was cheating on Teresa.
Page Six reported that Kim D. spilled some wedding details on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast. “I found out she’s getting married in August, Teresa. She’s getting married in August,” Kim D. stated. “Dina Manzo is the Maid of Honor,” she added. That makes perfect sense.
Kim D. asserted that she has the “inside scoop.” Sources told Page Six that Kim D’s details are “in the ballpark” of discussions that are happening about the wedding. Teresa hasn’t confirmed any of this information herself.
Kim D. continued to speculate on who would be in the couple’s wedding. She remarked, “I would definitely say Luis’ sisters. There’s no question.” Kim D. added, “I would say her daughters, too.” Duh.
Kim D. thinks that the “optics” are a high priority for Teresa and said that she believes that Louie’s brother will serve as Best Man, and his sons will be groomsmen. But Dina’s husband David could secure a spot as well. “Even Dina’s husband might be in it because they’re very close, the four of them,” Kim D. commented “They were just in Vegas together, celebrating one of their birthdays.”
How does Kim D. get all this information? She mentioned that Melissa and her husband, and Teresa’s brother, Joe Gorga, will be on the guest list. “She has to invite them. Trust me, if she didn’t have to, they wouldn’t be [invited],” Kim D. stated. “I know it. If she did not have to invite them, she would not.” That’s cold.
Teresa’s longtime friend, Dolores Catania, is apparently in danger of not getting an invite. Although Dolores is loyal to Teresa, she also is good friends with RHONJ alum Caroline Manzo, who is Dina’s estranged sister. Dolores wasn’t at Teresa and Louie’s engagement party, but she has been supportive of the duo’s relationship.
Kim D. predicted that Dolores will be invited. “Dolores has got a shot. Dolores is like 80/20 she’ll be invited –unless Teresa sees something on the show that she doesn’t like that Dolores did or said,” Kim D. said.
No word yet on if Kim D. will be stumbling around the dance floor at Teresa and Louie’s reception. My prediction? Her invite will be lost in the mail.

Dolores Catania is one lucky lady. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star was recently whisked away to Ireland by her Dublin-born boyfriend Paul Connell. The Bravo star is sharing...You know your day’s off to a less-than-great start when you cause a superyacht to run aground. And that’s exactly what the entire crew woke to in the early morning hours of this week’s episode of Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Well, not the entire crew, exactly. Tom Pearson was already up on anchor watch when the wind decided to start blowing out of nowhere at 31 knots. But the rest of the gang was roused in various states of panic and undress by Parsifal’s alarm. But before Colin Macrae and Gary King can even do much, the boat has run aground.
This is bad. Like, roughly 100 times worse than Parsifal crashing into the dock last season. After all, that ended up being merely cosmetic. This could cost the crew their entire season and send the sailboat into life support mode in need of major repairs. And it’s made even more stressful when the guests start waking up and wondering what’s going on. Somehow, out of either luck or genius, Captain Glenn Shephard works quickly with his first officer and engineer to save the day. With Tom creating an artificial wake in the tender, Glenn manages to rock the keel out of the sand. All the while, Ashley Marti‘s trying to keep the guests calm by serving coffee and pretending like a major emergency isn’t happening.
Once the boat is off the bottom of the seafloor, Colin‘s able to raise the anchor and a crisis has been averted. However, Captain Glenn still needs someone to blame. And his sights are set on Tom. It doesn’t matter that the junior deckhand insists everything happened so quickly that he barely had time to react. He gets chided for not waking anyone for help, and ends up storming downstairs to his cabin in frustration. And to make matters worse, Ashley essentially throws him under the bus by claiming he said out loud that they were dragging anchor without doing anything about it. Meanwhile, Colin’s left to go for a dive in order to make sure the bottom of the boat didn’t sustain any lasting damage. Luckily, it’s mostly just scratched up. No cracks or holes. This accident definitely could’ve been much, much worse.
Even before disaster struck, it was thankfully departure day. So the crew was already planning to sail back to Port Mahon to get the guests off the boat. And as if he didn’t already look bad enough, Tom makes an idiotic error during docking by throwing a loose heaving line ashore. The last minute chaos proved to be nothing but entertainment for the departing guests, and they leave happy and full of smiles. So at least that’s a good sign.
During the tip meeting, Captain Glenn once again lectures the entire crew on anchor watch procedures. But the tip ended up being decent: exactly $16,000. It doesn’t make up for the lousy revenge offering from the Roses last charter. But it helps soothe the crew’s wounds to the tune of nearly $1,800 per person. Though after the meeting, Captain Glenn consults privately with Gary. And neither of them feel they can trust Tom moving forward.
It’s time for the crew’s much-needed night out. But there’s some drama that needs to be addressed first. Daisy Kelliher pulls Ashley aside to discuss the latter’s growing hostility with Gabriela Barragan. And of course, the third stew blames all the tension on her second stew’s attitude problem. She’s also not sure she’s feeling Tom any longer after seeing how he reacted to the anchor watch debacle. So she may be ready to run that boatmance aground and leave it to die on the beach.
Eventually, the crew heads to dinner ashore in what appears to be the middle of a Menorcan street. It’s all very charming and picturesque. Less charming is Gary turning his flirtatious eye onto Gabriela. Otherwise known as the last member of the interior team he hasn’t hooked up with yet in some form or another. Across the table, Ashley‘s seething with jealousy beneath the fakest of smiles she can muster. Looks like the competition for Gary is officially on between the stews. On a cigarette break, Daisy gets Gabriela’s side of the story amid the stews’ drama. And ultimately comes to the conclusion that her two underlings simply don’t like each other all that much. When you boil the drama down, it’s a personality conflict.
This doesn’t stop Daisy, however, from attempting to mediate between the girls once they’re back on the boat. With some help from more than a little liquid courage. The stews start the tipsy conversation by hugging and insisting they like each other. But the good vibes don’t last long and Gabriela eventually walks away, refusing to talk out her problems. No surprises there. Besides, Ashley would rather stir up more drama with Gary, anyway. Which is almost immediately her next move. When she chooses to do body shots off the first mate. In the jacuzzi. Right in front of Tom. Needless to say, the deckhand hasn’t had the best 24 hours. And the last thing he needs to see is the girl he just slept with throwing herself at his boss.
But wait. It’s about to get worse. Moving things downstairs, Ashley decides the best thing to do is straddle Gary in his bed and give him a massage. Tom‘s disgusted by her behavior and has no problem calling her out. But Ashley, quite frankly, doesn’t care all that much. Because she wants to do what she wants to do. And Gary is the person she had in her sights all along. Tom was just a diversion on the road to getting what she really wanted. He doesn’t take kindly to the slight. And before you know it, the two are hurling names and insults at each other as Tom follows Ashley up to the deck and the camera crew scrambles out of the way.
Then, determined to get the last word, Tom decides the best thing to do is pout a drink on Ashley‘s head. But that’s not all. The argument goes yet another round, back down to the cabins, before Daisy intervenes and throws Tom out of the girls’ cabin. (I don’t even want to look up what “sket” means in Tom’s homeland of Northern England. But I think we can all use context clues to put the pieces together, yes?) Never mind that once Tom goes to bed, Gabriela actually gets the last word. Capitalizing off the drama, she swoops into Gary‘s bed before anyone can realize, wet bikini and all, to totally platonically sleep with the first mate for the night. They only end up making out a little, OK?
The next morning is a turnaround day. Which may end up being a good thing because the crew has quite a few issues to work out before the next round of guests step on board. Tom wakes up embarrassed and full of regret. And Gabriela has to make the walk of shame back to her cabin with Ashley. Of course, the first person Tom needs to speak to is Ashley. And after a pep talk from Kelsie Goglia, he prepares to approach his former flame with his tail between his legs. But the third stew isn’t about to let him get off that easily. Dragging him onto the dock, she pulls the “I’m going to talk and you’re going to listen” card. Tom’s apologies fall on mostly deaf ears. And it looks like the boatmance between this two is officially dead in the water.
Meanwhile, Captain Glenn calls Daisy, Gary and Chef Marcos Spaziani together for a preference sheet meeting. The next round of charter guests’ requests are fairly straightforward. They’re asking for a traditional Menorcan dinner, a seafood-palooza and a talent show put on by the crew. Should be easy enough, right? Let’s just hope and pray to the sea gods that there aren’t any accidents on this charter. But Tom can’t let go of his mess-up. It’s stuck in his head and he’s starting to spiral.
Finally, the morning of charter number four arrives. And while the crew handles provisions and last minute prep, Captain Glenn has a Tom problem to solve. Once again, he calls Gary and Colin together for a private meeting. And basically comes to the conclusion that Tom can’t be given any responsibilities this charter more serious than wiping things down with a shammy. But he wants to keep the decision completely hush-hush until he decides whether Tom should be fired altogether. This unfortunately doesn’t jive with Tom’s intentions. He woke up determined to prove his worth to Captain Glenn and fix his flailing reputation on the boat. And when Captain Glenn brushes him off with “we’ll talk later,” he starts to see the writing on the wall…
