Who Won the Power of Veto Tonight on Big Brother 22 (08/12/20)?

We are finishing up the first week inside the Big Brother 22 All-Stars house. Cody Calafiore won the first Head of Household (HOH) competition. When Kayser Ridha won the Safety Suite competition and added Janelle Pierzina to his web of safety fo the week as his “plus one”, Cody was forced to look elsewhere for nominations.

Without targeting any of the new school All-Stars, Cody decided to target two in the house that he knew little about to date. He nominated Kevin Campbell and Keesha Smith to the block for eviction this week. Cody shared with members of his alliance that he wanted to target Keesha specifically, but we all know how plans can change quickly inside the Big Brother house. Kick back and relax while we watch tonight’s episode of Big Brother 22 All-Stars and fins out of either Keesha or Kevin can win the Power of Veto (POV) and take their names off the block.

Week One Block Nomination Fallout

Cody reveals that he does feel bad about putting up Keesha and Kevin, but that’s part of the game. Cody tries to do some damage control with Kevin as he wants to potentially work with him further in the game. Janelle wants her and Kayser to lay low as much as possible.

Keesha visited Cody in the HOH suite and revealed to her that she was only picked because Cody didn’t know anything about her. He assured her that this was not personal. Cody promised that Keesha was not his target this week, all the while, he shared in the DR that he wouldn’t care if Keesha went home this week.

Hannah Ferrier Doesn’t Want Bugsy Drake “Dragged Into Hate” Because Malia White Sent Photo Of Hannah’s Prescription To Captain Sandy Yawn On Below Deck Mediterranean

Last week, my heart was breaking watch Kiko Lorran get fired mid-charter on Below Deck Mediterranean. Now, a week later I am absolutely fuming because Malia White decided to weaponize Hannah Ferrier’s mental health struggles by taking a photo of Hannah’s Valium prescription, CBD (which is legal), a lighter, and her adorable passport folder. Then, like the snake that she is, she sent the photo to Captain Sandy Yawn.

Yeah, we know it’s maritime law for the captain to be in the loop about the crew members’ prescriptions, but why did Malia have to be so shady? Why did she take sneak in to take a photo when Hannah wasn’t around? Why didn’t she just bring it up with Hannah and Sandy in person, just to make sure they were on the same page about Hannah’s safety? Oh, right, because she doesn’t actually care about Hannah’s well-being.

Instead, she was being a brat because Hannah didn’t want to switch cabins so Malia could room with her boyfriend Tom Checketts for two weeks. Oh, and a reminder: Hannah OUTRANKS the bosun AND the chef and is actually in charge of cabin arrangements. Malia can quote “maritime law” all she wants, but Malia operated with zero tact and absolutely no consideration for what Hannah may be going through. Luckily for her, Captain Sandy plays favorites, so Malia got exactly what she wanted… with a side helping of backlash from the fandom. She and Captain Sandy aren’t the only crew members getting hate from the fanbase though. Bugsy Drake has been brought into this photogate controversy and guess who’s defending her? Hannah herself. Wow. Are pigs flying? Has hell frozen over?

Hannah tweeted, “Hey guys – thanks so much for all your kind words and support. I feel like Bugs has been pulled into this situation so I want to make something clear. I don’t believe Bugs had anything to do with the photo being sent to sandy or the subsequent consequences.” How. Mature. Bravo, Hannah (pun intended).

When a fan responded, “No she had nothing to do with the photo but make no mistake she was not on your team. She’s definitely playing both sides,” Hannah said, “I know. But those are 2 different things and there’s obvs a lot of hate coming about the photo etc so I don’t want Bugs dragged into that hate as that’s not fair x.”

Another viewer replied, “I agree with you Hannah, however in the aftershow last night when this conversation was talked about Bugs was laughing and smiling majority of the time which isn’t right either so she isn’t totally innocent!” In response, Hannah said, “And I agree with that too. But I don’t think she conspired to send the photo…” Good for Hannah, standing up for someone who is clearly on #TeamMalia and just being fair about what happened. 

When a Twitter user said, “I agree with you. I didn’t see any evidence to wrangle Bugs in at all. It’s good of you to say so she’s been getting attacked a lot. She doesn’t deserve it. The other two? Meh let them have it. Good luck with your baby girl xo,” Hannah tweeted, “Agree and agree x.” Same here, Hannah. Captain Sandy and Malia have a a lot to answer for.

Bugsy Drake Claims She’s A “Massive Advocate For Mental Health”; Asks Below Deck Mediterranean Fans To Be Kind

I am still trying to swallow last night’s episode of Below Deck Mediterranean. First, Captain Sandy Yawn gets rid of my precious Kiko Lorran. Now, she’s coming after my Hannah Ferrier. Yes, I know what you’re going to say, trust me. Hannah is not your favorite. I know that she is polarizing. But can we cut the woman some slack for needing some (prescribed, mind you) to make it on that boat full of snakes?

While we didn’t see Hannah get fired on last night’s episode, we know it’s coming. We can thank Bosun Malia White and her tantrum for that one. After Malia threw a fit about not being able to room with her chef boyfriend, Tom Checketts, she marched right to Captain Sandy and tattled on everyone. Hannah specifically. Sandy played favorites as usual and Malia got her way, meaning Hannah and her nemesis, Bugsy Drake became instant roommates. Cut to Malia texting Sandy a picture of Hannah’s things, that she took out of her purse! And arranged for a photo! The audacity. Said photo included a CBD pen and some prescription valium, which Hannah takes for her anxiety disorder. Repeat after me: Malia. Is. A. Snake. How timely that she just so happened to stumble across Hannah’s things and report her to Captain Sandy after they fight.

But I think what got lost in the shuffle is that Bugsy is at the root of all this. She was the one who didn’t want to room with Hannah to begin with. That wasn’t Hannah’s fault. And in the midst of this, Malia weaponized Hannah’s mental health for her own purposes. But Bugsy is getting off scott-free. She didn’t even stand up and say that she is the one who didn’t want to bunk with Hannah. While Bugsy stayed out of it, she suddenly feels the need to take up for mental health issues. Is she defending Hannah? Or is she saving face?

Bugsy made a post to her Instagram and while she didn’t outright address what took place on the show, it’s pretty obvious what she’s referring to. In the post, Bugsy starts by saying, “#mentalhealth is alive and real. I took my previous post down regarding MY actual story.” For context, Bugsy posted and deleted a picture of herself and explained her own experience with mental health.

She continued, “I GOT SUPER BRAVE for a minute sharing my personal experience… and then the criticism came flying in regarding what was seen of me on a TV show. So here it is plain and simple I’m a massive advocate for mental health, no matter what you see or don’t see on a 45min tv show I have personal experience.”

Bugsy finished by saying, “So try your best to be kind (heart emoji) peace and love to all and stay safe in these uncertain times!”

Bugsy had more to say, taking it to Twitter. Fans were understandably angry and in response, one of her tweets read, “Okay so I join the boat to fill in the 2nd stew position and I’m attacked for doing my job?!”

Another watcher tweeted, “Bugsy I have always been a fan. But you need to understand you are being attacked for your behavior not your work ethic. Two very different things. Even tonight you and Malia took any chance you had to take shots at Hannah. Tonight both of you looked like a pair of mean girls.” Bugsy responded by saying, “Wasn’t my intention I promise you! I’m really sad and sorry people are seeing it this way!” We are seeing it that way because that’s how it was. No amount of editing can dig Bugsy out of this hole.

When a fan asked her if it was her job to support the Chief, Bugsy shot back, “Yes it is, how did I not support her?” Well, for starters, you let her get rolled under the bus all because you didn’t want to change rooms. So, there’s that.

Clearly, viewers are not happy with how everything is going down this season. And maybe that has a lot to do with the players. Captain Sandy is firing good people. Malia and Bugsy are ganging up and seemingly plotting against people. We have had a misogynistic deckhand who was completely out of control. At least that was a valid firing.

I have been with Below Deck Med from the start and will always finish out a season. But unless they get a handle on this crew, next season might just be a wash.

Lisa Rinna Warns Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Co-Star About “Going After Kids”

Lisa Rinna is all about the Instagram Story shade these days. For a while, she was on an exclusive streak of calling out Denise Richards. Now, it seems like she’s gunning for Garcelle Beauvais, which isn’t surprising since Garcelle has publicly proclaimed that she is on “Team Denise Richards.”

During a recent episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa said that she does her underwear dancing videos to entertain her mom, Lois. OK? In a confessional, Garcelle questioned Lisa for doing this since her daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin has publicly battled an eating disorder. Specifically, Garcelle remarked, “I love that Lisa’s free enough to do the videos and be dancing, but the dancing nearly naked is not a choice for me if I had a daughter that had body issues.” As expected, that remark raised some eyebrows, and seemingly incited some shade from Lisa herself.

Lisa didn’t mention Garcelle by name in her recent Instagram Stories, but it sure seemed like she was talking about Garcelle. Queens of Bravo shared the screenshots, including one where Lisa wrote: “I pray for all of the moms on our show who have kids who will someday soon be teenagers on the show.”

Based on her recent tension with Garcelle and the fact that Garcelle’s twin sons are approaching their teens, this Instagram Story just has to be directed at Garcelle right?

Denise’s kids are already teens. Sutton Stracke’s kids are not legally permitted to film the show. Dorit Kemsley and Teddi Mellencamp’s young kids won’t be teens for a while.

Kyle Richards‘ youngest daughter Portia Umansky is a tween, but Rinna and Kyle seem to be on the same side of the battle lines this season; i.e. it’s unlikely that she’s shading Kyle this time. So, yes, by the process of elimination, it makes so much sense to guess that Rinna is shading Garcelle.

In another Instagram Story that Queens of Bravo shared, Lisa wrote, “You’re crying about your shit being put out there wait until they go after your kids. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.” It’s fair to assume that the “they” Rinna is referring to includes herself.

90 Day Fiance Star Jess Caroline Confronted Vanessa Guerra About Seeing Nude Photos Of Jess And Larissa Dos Santos Lima From Colt’s Phone; Jess Claims Colt & Vanessa Faked Conversations “To Manipulate” Her

Other than a thirst for reality TV stardom, Instagram followers, and, occasionally, a K-1 via, it’s hard to grasp the appeal of dating Colt Johnson. 90 Day Fiance fans met him and his now-ex-wife Larissa Dos Santos Lima on the original series.

Now, they’re back on TV in 90 Day Fiance Happily Ever After, even though they were no longer together during filming. Instead, Colt was dating another Brazilian woman, who could use a visa to remain in the United States, a redhead named Jess Caroline. He was also “hanging out with” Vanessa Guerra, an American woman who has watched his cats and gained favor with Colt’s mom Debbie Johnson.

During a recent episode, Debbie purposely mentioned that Vanessa was watching the cats while she, Colt, and Jess were in Brazil. As a result, Jess flipped out, hit Colt and accused them of sleeping together, which he admitted they’d done once… but that’s probably not the whole story.

John Yates shared screenshots of a conversation between Jess and Vanessa. Apparently, Vanessa got a hold of Colt’s cell phone, which I assume means he just handed it over to her.  Jess asked what she saw and Vanessa just straight up said, “This isn’t the first time I’ve looked through his phone. I saw your nudes a longggg time ago and haven’t exposed anything.” Wow. What a gem, that Vanessa.

Jess understandably said “Whaaat?” and “Really?” in response. Vanessa confirmed and Jess asked, “Why did you see my nudes?”

Vanessa said, “That’s his whole gallery. Nudes of you, Larissa. I’ve seen all of them.”

Jess even asked Vanessa, “Are my nudes ok?” Which is an interesting question to ask. In response, Vanessa said, “I didn’t sit there and analyze them lol just scrolled through.”

Jess asked Vanessa, “Does Colt tell you about our intimacies?” Vanessa said “I know everything” along with a winking emoji. Eeew. Then she claimed, “There’s not much he doesn’t tell me.” What the hell? This girl is too much. I’m not the biggest fan of Jess, but that Vanessa is something else, and not in a good way.

Not only that, but, apparently, Colt called Vanessa ahead of time to plan out their written conversation to deceive Jess. Nothing surprises me at this point and I wouldn’t be at-all-shocked if Colt actually did this.

Jess exposed this trickery in her Instagram Story, which John Yates shared on his page. Jess wrote, “This is the proof [of] how they lied and manipulated me the entire time. When I started to suspect about their affair, I questioned him and he sent those screenshots to me. He is a liar, a cheater, a [piece] of trash hiding under his mother[‘s] skirt.”

Jess claimed, “Later Vanessa told me he called her and both agreed to fake the conversation, this way I would calm down and he could finish the season with me. Then after that they could be together (like they are now).”  Jess shared those screenshots, and again, I’m compelled to believe Jess on this one.

Jess concluded, “What hurt me the most [is] because they knew what they were doing and made me [involve] my family [in] this circus.” Oh, girl, you got played. Sure, it seemed like Jess was there to play Colt for a green card, but he’s no amateur when it comes to deceiving Brazilian women. This isn’t his first rodeo. That’s for sure.

Gizelle Shares Rumors About Monique On Real Housewives Of Potomac Tonight

Thankfully, the Real Housewives of Potomac are back with a new season. After a frustrating delay, they came through during the season 5 premiere episode last week.

Tonight, there’s another new episode and get ready for this one: Gizelle Bryant and Monique Samuels are actually on good terms, and they’re even going to a one-on-one lunch together. Beyond that, they both decided to co-host a dinner in honor of Ashley Darby, who has been admittedly struggling with postpartum depression. As nice as that sounds, we all know the peace between Gizelle and Monique will not last… most likely not even past this episode.

During last week’s episode, Monique was shocked when her close-friend-turned-nemesis and fired Housewife Charrisse Jackson-Jordan showed up for camera time at Candiace Dillard’s one-year anniversary (yes, apparently, a one-year anniversary party is a thing now).

Aside from my utter distaste from Candiace refusing to spring for an open bar, the stand-out moment for me was when Monique claimed Charrisse was spreading rumors about her family.

Monique wouldn’t say what those rumors were, which was a smart move to diminish Charrisse’s grasp for relevancy a storyline. Tonight, we find out what those rumors are, thanks to Gizelle’s confessional interview. So much for that whole “burying the hatchet” thing with Monique. That lasted for all of two seconds.

Karen Huger is understandably upset that her husband Ray Huger stopped telling her “I love you,” which is totally devastating, and, quite frankly, tough to watch.

Juan Dixon goes to Gizelle for some relationship advice, presumably to drag out this whole “getting back together with Robyn Dixon” storyline for the fifth season straight. Then, again, at least this time, we know that Juan actually proposes to Robyn, so that’s at least a little bit different than the overdone “Will he? Or won’t he?” trope.
