90 Day Fiance Recap: Can I Get A Witness

Last night’s episode of 90 Day Fiance wrapped up some loose ends and then unraveled a few others. I still have so many more questions. I can’t wait until the Tell All to fill in some of the missing pieces. Only time will tell if some of these couples have made the biggest mistakes of their lives. I told many of them to RUN, did anyone take my advice?

Several of the couples are out of time and must decide if they want to bite the bullet and get married. Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi have another setback. Mike‘s call to Natalie leaves some unanswered questions. Michael Jessen talks to his ex-wife, Sarah, about his prenup decision. Let’s get straight into the 90 Day Fiance recap!

Anna, 38 (Bellevue, Nebraska) and Mursel, 38 (Turkey)

Anna Campisi is racing against the clock to pick up Mursel Mistanoglu from the airport and make it to their wedding in a few hours. If anything doesn’t go as planned they risk not making their midnight deadline to get married. You may remember, Mursel was given a second chance to meet the stipulations of his K-1 Visa after deciding to return home to Turkey.

Anna is freaking out now that she only has two hours until her ceremony. Nothing has been done to set up before her guests arrive. Luckily, a few friends and family help, while she attempts to get ready for her special day. Clearly she picked the wrong friend to help her with her hair. The entire back of her head was a frizzy mess before she even walked outside.

Mursel requests to see Anna before the ceremony to follow the Turkish tradition to tie a red ribbon around her waist. In a sweet moment, her youngest son asks if he can walk her down the aisle. This small gesture made Anna happy, given her oldest son, Gino, refused to even attend the wedding. Talk about awkward.  So Gino is just going to sit across the dinner table and ignore his new step-dad?

Hopefully, Anna and Mursel attempt to learn the same language at some point now that they are married. I could barely deal with all the crying and Google translation conversations all season.

Tania, 29 (Colchester, Connecticut) and Syngin, 29 (South Africa)

With only two weeks until the wedding, Syngin Colchester  is still devastated that Tania Maduro doesn’t consider him a “soul mate.” When he speaks to her about his concerns, he is nearly in tears as he describes how her comments hurt him. Tania claims she isn’t really sure what “soul mates” mean but she believes in their love. Chile, please! Tania, don’t back track now, she knew exactly what she was saying. Despite his apprehension, Syngin still wants to get married, for some reason.

It’s Tania and Syngin’s wedding day and they are literally setting up everything themselves. If this is a backyard wedding, why the heck didn’t they do most of the work in advance? Guests are arriving as the bride and groom are still trying to unload tables and chairs. SMH… They finally finish in the nick of time, at the expense of actually taking a shower after all that manual labor.

I’m sorry,  but if that was me, the wedding would have to start late. There is no way I wouldn’t have at least taken a quick shower. Surprisingly, despite its start, everything came together nicely for this evening wedding.

Syngin’s parents stayed up late in South Africa to attend via Skype.  Instead of rings, they chose to get matching tattoos on their wedding finger. I really hope Syngin didn’t make a bad decision and mess up his family’s streak of no divorces in 500 years.

Blake, 29 (Los Angeles, California) and Jasmin, 27 (Finland)

Jasmin and Blake’s wedding day has finally arrived. She looks more like she is going to the club rather than her wedding. I’m still not sure why Blake decided to get married against the advice of his family and friends.

Nonetheless, I thought it was nice that people came to support their decision. Blake cries as he says his vows and Jasmin, per usual, has no real emotion. I know it was killing Jasmin to be in the company of other people outside of her family for that length of time.

Robert, 41 (Winter Park, Florida) and Anny, 30 (Dominican Republic)

Anny is excited for her wedding to Robert. After all the disrespect she has experienced from him and others in his life, I’m surprised she still wants to get married. Robert is so nervous that he contemplates turning around on his way to the ceremony. If anyone should be running, it’s Anny.

Anny looks beautiful in her dress and is escorted to the chapel by her handsome step-son to be, Bryson. In a shocking moment, when asked if someone objects, Robert says “I can’t do this right now.”

As I sit on the edge of my seat, Robert drops to one knee and places a ring on her finger and says “without doing this first”. Whew, Anny looked like she was scared that she was about to be left at the altar.

Mike, 34 (Seguim, Washington) and Natalie, 35 (Ukraine)

Mike calls Natalie to discuss their relationship after his disastrous trip. Natalie doesn’t seem to want to be bothered with him. She completely defends her weird behavior. She doesn’t seem to comprehend why Mike would be upset that she told 90 Day Fiance producers she didn’t love him.

To add insult to injury, she also tells him he “needs to be more strong and responsible.”  She even alludes to trust issues between them. Did I miss something? Mike gets so upset he ends the call early and storms off camera. I have a feeling there is a lot that we aren’t aware of that has happened behind the scenes.

Angela, 53 (Hazlehurst, Georgia) and Michael, 29 (Nigeria)

Angela and Michael go see a registrant to discuss the marital process and its requirements in Nigeria. She is shocked to find out that their marriage requires a witness from the U.S in order for it to be deemed valid. She doesn’t know anyone who can afford to take a trip to Africa. Meanwhile, I’m still wondering how she can afford it.

Angela’s trip is coming to an end and she is returning to the U.S. with a heavy heart. At the airport, Michael presents his fiancé with matching gold chains that have each other’s name on them. I can see the glee in Angela’s eyes knowing that her man will now wear her name around his neck. She gets on the plane reinvigorated to continue to fight for Michael to live in America.

Michael, 41 (Greenwich, Connecticut) and Juliana, 23 (Brazil)

When Michael drops off his kids, he and his ex-wife Sarah talk about his wedding to Juliana Custodio. Very quickly the conversation takes a turn when she inquires about a prenuptial agreement. Michael reveals he decided not to get one because it was putting a “dark cloud” over their relationship. Insert eye roll emoji. This woman is way too involved in her ex-husband’s business. I understand protecting her children, but I feel she often oversteps her boundaries.

Who else can’t wait until the Tell All? The preview is explosive, to say the least. I will be tuning in with all my snacks for the tea! Tune in next Sunday for updates and revelations on all of the couples.

Life After Lockup Recap: Bonded & Ghosted

I was SOOOOO sick last week. FULL DYING. My sincerest apologies for not giving you a Life After Lockup recap. However, this week we are back, and the show is just as good as ever. The drama! Michael Simmons is talking to so many women, I don’t know how he can keep it straight. Sarah Simmons and Megan J are far from the only women in his revolving door of trysts. In addition to them, for SOME reason Angela keeps taking back Tony. Ugh. Just stop.

Brittany Santiago has been through the ringer with her mother, and the stress is high. She and Marcelino Santiago are having a baby, but her past might be a bump in the road. The biggest WTF out of this group right now is Andrea Edwards and Lamar Jackson’s marriage. They aren’t happy at all. They have nothing in common. Why are they still a thing? I have a feeling her trying to convert him isn’t going to go well at all.

Andrea & Lamar

Andrea and Lamar are the two most awkward people ever in a sex shop. I’m just as surprised as Lamar that Utah has stores like that. I never realized Andrea got so freaky, but I’m here for it. Anything that makes these two a little more interesting is a win.

She wants him to win her back, so now we get a whole game between them this season. Either they’re going to work or they aren’t. I don’t know why these two are always dragging this out.

Lamar is making somewhat of an effort because he’s been in Utah for a week. That’s a week longer than I would ever give Andrea or Utah. It sounds like pure torture.

Andrea wants him to be full Mormon, so she arranges a church meeting while he’s visiting. Here we go. He’s never going to convert. He doesn’t want to live that life. Forcing him to do so is never going to work.

Andrea goes on a long rant about how she was healed by the Book of Mormon, but that’s HER. It’s great that it worked for her. That doesn’t mean it’s something that speaks to Lamar. Nobody is understanding that or respecting his feelings. Everyone wants to shove this lifestyle down his throat. There’s nothing wrong with what they do and how they live. However, you shouldn’t have to force someone.

The woman doing the scripture study ends up in tears thinking she offended Lamar. Someone needs a little thicker skin. Seriously though! Why is she so upset?

Angela & Tony

I’m disappointed in Angela that Tony is still around. I wish she’d cut him loose and find someone who actually cares about her. Tony has been a user and a con artist from the beginning, and she won’t see it.

Tony questioning Angela about her plans and when she’ll be home from a gathering is hilarious. She doesn’t owe you anything buddy. You’ve done her so dirty for so long. She deserves time to enjoy herself and do whatever damn well pleases.

All of her friends think she’s foolish for staying with him. It’s crazy that Angela has to have a tracker on Tony’s phone. That speaks volumes about the status of their relationship. There’s no trust.

Angela’s sister comes up with a plan to upset Tony, but Angela is heading home instead. That’s a shame. Giving Tony a taste of his own medicine would be the sweetest revenge.

Angela calls Tony saying she’s going to stay with her sister, but she’s really spying on him. She’s so devious and extra, and I love it. I would not want to f**k with her EVER. Period. She is THAT bitch.

Cheryl & Josh

I can’t believe Josh’s mom put her hands on Cheryl. Well, that’s what Cheryl’s claiming at least. The situation between these two is so toxic. Josh has no idea who to believe, and I don’t blame him. These two are constantly at each other’s throats, so anything is possible.

How do none of these people recognize that this is a negative environment for children? I’m not surprised at all that this is going down. What I don’t like though is Cheryl very clearly trying to ruin his relationship with his mother. That’s not okay at all. She’s just a little too unstable and unpredictable for my liking.

Clint & Tracie

Clint Brady’s feeling lost without Tracie Wagaman, but none of this should surprise him. There was a pattern of behavior like this in his relationship. He will never give up on her which may lead to a life of disappointment.

Clint is going to bond Tracie out of jail, and his mother is totally against it. She was already against this marriage, so this is the icing on top. His mom tries to reason with him, but he’s determined to get her out of jail. I just want to hear from Tracie and learn what her next move is. Will she get help? Can she stay clean? I sure hope so.

Clint is willing to throw away his relationship with his parent’s for Tracie. I’m not sure that’s the best call here. Tracie is excited to be home, but there is a long road ahead of her. This situation is far from over. I understand that he loves his goddess, but enough is enough.

It cost Clint $5,000 to get her out of jail. I pray she shows up to court and doesn’t screw this man over. Tracie is looking at major hard time from these charges. Their marriage will never stable. Tracie wants to get help. That’s what she claims  at least. Only time will tell if this wake up call is legitimate or not.

Marcelino & Brittany

Brittany wants to locate the children she gave up when she was a teenager. She has a lot going on right now, so I’m not sure this is the best idea. Between the new baby, her mom’s issues, and their money problems, the added stress could be bad.

Her parental rights were terminated by the state, so this will be a difficult journey. I really like these two, so I’m hoping for the best. This process could take years, but Brittany seems determined. Marcelino is making this all about money, but you can’t put a price on this kind of thing. She wants to reconnect with the kids she was forced to give up. This is a really big deal.

Megan, Michael, & Sarah

Megan links up with her friend, and she’s MAD. She hasn’t heard from Michael in weeks since he admitted he talked to other women. It’s good that he’s finally being honest with her. However, this man will NEVER change, and she should take this opportunity to exit.

Michael is basically ghosting her, and this is a blessing in disguise. She could do so much better. Sarah can do better as well. Nobody deserves to spend their time pining after someone like him.

Michael is coming to visit his daughters, and he’s bringing his girlfriend Maria. Who? This man is a complete and total joke. How does Maria feel about being third place? Michael likes her because she’s down for a threesome so he doesn’t have to cheat.

Maria doesn’t want to lose communication with Michael at all. She wants the details of his every move. She’s really strange to be honest. She even sees that she and Michael are emotionally married. Okay then.

Who brings there random girlfriend to visit their children they barely see? Michael is just THE WORST. Michael’s oldest daughter has THE WORST reaction ever to seeing him. Absolutely heartbreaking. She’s worried he’s going to take her away from Sarah.

This is so raw and so real, and Michael is to blame for this. He’s never around. He cares more about screwing random women than his own kids. She says she’s “getting used to him”. How horrible is it that she has to say that about her own father? Just wow. No words can express sad that is.

She asks to have her grandmother pick her up, so now Sarah and Michael can have a serious conversation face to face. He wants to have the girls which is such a ballsy move. Sarah explodes after finding out Michael has another woman staying in the hotel. The drama between these two is far from over.

Shahs Of Sunset Returns For Season 8 Tonight

It’s been way too long since Shahs of Sunset has been on my TV. It’s kind of weird timing for the show to return since the Academy Awards are on tonight as well, but I am thankful for my DVR.

After last season’s dramatic reunion, Reza Farahan and Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi decide to make up for the millionth time. However, GG and Destiney Rose are still at odds, not that I am at-all-invested in anything Destiney has going on since I feel like we barely got to know her last season.

Once again, Mike Shouhed is in love. He has a new girlfriend and he promises that his womanizing past is completely behind him. I hope that’s true, but come on, this is Mike Shouhed after all.

Nema Vand is back for his second season. He is single and looking for love. Clearly, whatever he hoped to have with GG last season did not work out, not that it ever really got started. Their interaction was just all sorts of confusing.

Reza and his husband Adam Neely have the Shahs of Sunset cast over to celebrate their new house- which I assume is the house that Mercedes “MJ” Javid’s husband Tommy Feight vandalizes later on in the season. Ah, foreshadowing.

The housewarming is also a totally organic way (cue my eye roll) to meet the new Shahs of Sunset cast member, Sara Jeihooni, who used to date R. Kelly, which I assume will come up a lot this season

Get ready for this one: the big drama of the night is about Adam, of all people. The only person on this show who doesn’t cause any drama. Destiney tells Mike that a friend told her (wow, telephone much?) that Adam has “naked” Jenga parties while Reza is out of town. Is that true? If it is, is that a secret from Reza? Who would have ever thought that Adam could be the source of any drama?

Who knew that Tanya’s relationship would actually become a storyline?

Moving on to a relationship that is always a storyline: Porsha Williams and Dennis McKinley’s. They are still trying to make it work with those joint therapy sessions. I love Porsha so much, but Dennis ain’t it, girl. You can do so much better, but that’s none of my business.

Mama Joyce has decided to take another below the belt dig at Todd Tucker. Why does Todd put up with this shit? Why does Kandi Burruss put up with this shit? Mama Joyce is just so out of hand. On tonight’s episode, Kandi reveals that Mama Joyce told her that Riley Burruss will be her beneficiary (instead of Kandi) because she doesn’t trust Todd to make sure Riley is taken care of. Mirror, mirror on the wall, Mama Joyce is the messiest of them all. Kandi needs to put her in check. Also, what money does Mama Joyce even have? Isn’t Kandi funding her life?

And I have no idea what’s going with Eva Marcille tonight, but I’m sure it’s not that interesting. And I would not be at-all-surprised if NeNe Leakes isn’t in tonight’s episode. Her scenes have been left on the editing room floor all season long. Why would tonight be any different?

Melissa Gorga Shades Joe Giudice; Says She “Never Thought He Was The Greatest”

Joe Giudice is playing a major role on this season of Real Housewives of New Jersey, even if it is by phone.  Viewers listen in as he calls his family from the ICE detention center. We also hear him argue with, and insult his wife, Teresa Giudice. He even told her that no one would want her because she has too much baggage. In my opinion, the only baggage that Teresa has is living in Italy awaiting his final deportation decision.

It is clear that Joe and Teresa have gone their separate ways, although there is no official confirmation. Teresa and Joe’s four daughters spent the Christmas holiday with their father in Italy. Teresa spent Christmas Eve in the company of her high school boyfriend, “pool boy” Tony Delorenzo, at Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga’s house. I am rooting for Tony and Teresa to get together. Just saying.

And now we can officially add Melissa to the list of people who are not fans of Joe Giudice. HollywoodLife reported that Melissa phoned into the Jonathan Cheban Foodgod podcast on February 6, and she majorly shaded her brother-in-law. Melissa said, “I’m really not close to him. I never was and I’m not gonna deny it.”

The RHONJ star and her husband have also stopped following Joe Giudice on social media. “We were never besties… I never thought he was the greatest. My husband unfollowed him on Instagram because he thinks [Joe Giudice is] crazy on Instagram,” Melissa revealed.

The boutique owner admitted that she thinks that Teresa and Joe splitting up was the best decision, given the situation. “It’s time to make new lives. I think they’ve both accepted it,” Melissa stated. “The only thing everybody was holding on for is, obviously, the kids, because they want their kids to have their parents together. But sometimes it just doesn’t work out and it’s not working out because they live in two different countries at this point, so it is what it is.”

On February 5, Teresa appeared on Watch What Happens Live, and she still couldn’t escape the behavior of her ex. Host Andy Cohen asked the “OG” Jersey Housewife about photos of her husband partying on a beach in Mexico with women in bikinis. Teresa wasn’t fazed by the photos. “I was totally fine with it. I’m not jealous,” she explained. Her daughters didn’t have the same chill reaction. Teresa said, “And I was just like, girls it’s fine, he’s living his life. And because I was fine with it, they were fine with it.”

Kelly Dodd Shares Thoughts On Filming With Shannon Beador Next Season; Shares If She Would Rather Have Tamra Judge Or Vicki Gunvalson Back

No love lost here. Real Housewives of Orange County’s Kelly Dodd doesn’t seem sad that two of the tres amigas are no longer filming. Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge will not return to the franchise when filming resumes.

This has left many fans wondering how Kelly will handle having Shannon Beador, aka the last amiga, around.  And I think it’s fair to say Kelly doesn’t seem the least bit worried.At the end of the last season, fans may have been thrilled surprised to hear Vicki  and Tamra  were no longer filming for RHOC. Vicki had already been demoted to friend. And rumor had it Tamra’s demotion was in place for the upcoming season.

The third part of the threesome (that no one wants a part in), Shannon, is still filming.  And it will be interesting to see how she fares with nemesis Kelly on her own.  Fans are also wondering how it will go, and have been questioning Kelly on her Instagram page.

According to OK! Magazine, Kelly had an interesting response on her Instagram to one fan who asked how Kelly was going to “deal” with Shannon next season. “Same way I have with the other 5 that got fired!! We’ll see,” Kelly quipped. Seemingly referring to exit of former housewives Vicki, Tamra, Peggy Sulahain, Heather Dubrow, and Meghan Edmonds.  All left after Kelly joined the show.

Kelly’s statement is a little odd. It certainly sounds as though she thinks she had something to do with the others leaving.  Hasn’t Kelly learned that if your ego starts to get out of control Bravo has a way of pulling you back to reality.  Or kicking you out of reality?

Kelly’s bravado didn’t end there.  Another fan wanted to know if Kelly could pick the return of either Vicki or Tamra to the show who would it be? “Can’t pick!! What’s the lesser of two evils…Vicki is the lesser,” Kelly wrote.

Next seasons dynamic will be interesting to watch. The two major shit stirrers will be gone. Shannon will have to find a new shoulder to cry on.  Which will end up being Gina Kirschenheiter’s new role in the group.  That will leave Emily Simpson sulking.  And who will be left to fill the empty spots normally occupied by two overly dramatic, egotistical women? I think Kelly is going to have fun trying.
