Cynthia Bailey Is Worried About Kenya Moore’s Relationship With Matt; Disappointed Peter Thomas Went On Wendy Williams

Cynthia Bailey

Cynthia Bailey

Cynthia Bailey knows a thing or two about an unhealthy relationship, but whatever Kenya Moore and Matt Jordan have going on seems to extend far beyond that.

After Matt kicked in Kenya’s garage window over an Instagram picture, the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star revealed that Matt has done far, far worse than what’s been captured for the cameras. The entire situation has Cynthia worried about Kenya’s safety in Matt’s arms.

Cynthia describes Matt’s overreaction to the TBT of Kenya on the set of a Jay-Z video “childish and immature,” explaining, “It was a throwback – part of her history, and before his time. There was nothing inappropriate about it.”

Later, when Cynthia got the phone call about Matt’s insanity, she admits to being “very concerned” about Kenya.

“I don’t ever like to hear any of my girlfriends crying and upset,” Cynthia writes in her Bravo blog. “Kenya is a very strong woman, so when she breaks down and cries about anything, it really upsets me.”

Speaking of her own dysfunctional soon-to-be-divorce from Peter Thomas, Cynthia was “not surprised” he chose to vent his frustrations to Wendy Williams. It all started over a misunderstanding during a Cynthia Bailey Eyewear and Cargo launch party when Cynthia confirmed their divorce was “moving forward.”

“We had already been separated for months, and that was the direction the relationship was going. I honestly didn’t think at that time that I was saying anything that wasn’t already out there or was breaking news,” Cynthia details. “Unfortunately, it ended up being the headliner for the article instead of my Cynthia Bailey Fashion Accessories. It was never my intention to hurt him. ”

“I knew he was upset,” acknowledges Cynthia. “I was just speaking my truth.”

“I was a little disappointed that he felt blindsided and felt the need to go on The Wendy Williams Show to discuss our situation specifically,” Cynthia admits.

In retrospect, Cynthia would have “preferred” to make an official divorce announcement “together with Peter,” but things don’t always go as planned – like marriage itself, actually.

I may just choose one fan question to ask during my interview.

S33_Ep13_SG_277b

We left off last week seeing not one, but two people get voted out – Will and Sunday – leaving us with just six left in the game. Jay was forced to play the game’s last remaining Immunity Idol at Tribal, even though it turned out that he didn’t need to. That leaves all six on equal footing, except for the fact that Ken possesses the mysterious “Legacy Advantage,” which will be revealed to us all tonight. You may remember, this new Survivor twist was found during the very first episode of the season, by Jessica, and she was given the ability to pass it along should she get voted out…and OK, even though she technically didn’t get voted out (damn that rock draw!), she left the game and willed the Legacy Advantage on to Ken.

It would seem that we are now left with three groups of two: You have Ken who is extremely loyal to David, you have Bret who will have no one else to turn to except Jay, and then you have Adam and Hannah in the middle. I think it’s clear that most people in the game and on the jury feel that Jay or David would be hands-down winners, and it’s unlikely that they would both reach the Final Three together…which is a possibility especially if Jay can run the table and win some Immunities down the stretch.

As I detailed last week, Hannah is in a unique position and, should she play her cards right and should the chips fall in the right direction for her, might be in the best position possible. Remember, that we are in the Survivor era of the “voting bloc,” so just because we think there are alliances going today, doesn’t mean those same alliances will be there tomorrow. Dare I bring back the phrase trust cluster?

That being said, I’ve gone ahead and mapped out the chances that I think each of the remaining players has to win the game…let’s start with least likely, to most likely. Oh and by the way, I know nothing of spoilers and I have no inside info…this is strictly my thoughts on how things may shake out:

S33_Ep14_SG_031

Bret. Bret is the least likely player to win the game at this point, in my opinion, with Ken a close second. Bret’s main ally in the game, Sunday, is no more, and Bret finds himself in a tough spot. His only other ally would be Jay, and he is going to be Public Enemy #1…and should Jay lose Immunity and go home, Bret would be a sitting duck. Which, at this point in the game, may not be bad, because others could use Bret as a vote to get them to Final Three, and Bret would be a good person to take along for the ride, because he really has a weak resume. Sure, he has allies on the jury, but I don’t believe this group of sharp, cut-throat players would ever reward Bret as this season’s winner. I think the best Bret can hope for is a scenario where he is somehow sitting next to Ken and Hannah, and then can hopefully win by being the lesser of three evils.

S33_Ep14_SG_042

Ken. Poor Ken has shown a few weaknesses over the past few weeks, but I know there is still a large group of people rooting for Ken. He does have the Legacy Advantage, and it’s unclear just how big a deal this might be. But short of that, Ken faces the same dilemma as Bret, just on the opposite side of the spectrum. Being allied with David, and David being one of the two biggest remaining threats, Ken will likely be all alone should David lose Immunity (which is very likely) and be targeted. Even if Ken is kept around as a vote and reaches Final Three, again, this jury would never allow a person like Ken to represent their season. His best hope is also something like Bret and Hannah, where maybe the jury decides to give it to a great guy instead of two players that currently don’t have much to hang their hats on.

Survivor finale

David. I legitimately think David can win the game, but his biggest challenge will be reaching Final Three. His best bet is to have Jay lose tonight’s first Immunity Challenge, and then vote Jay out. The Legacy Advantage could be important for David, since his ally Ken is the one who is in possession of it. But I don’t see the others keeping David in the game until the end, which means that David’s path to victory will have to include one or several Immunity Challenge wins, which just doesn’t seem to be likely. I think David is a hands-down winner should he reach and sit next to any combination that doesn’t include Jay.

S33_Ep14_SG_015

Jay. Jay is the front-runner in my mind, and should be everybody’s Number One target. If he loses Immunity, he needs to go. All the cards fell perfectly last week for the other players, with Jay wasting his Idol. But winning Immunity over Jay is easier said than done. Jay could go all Wigglesworth on everybody and win his way to the end. Should he reach Final Three, in any combination even including David, I think Jay wins Survivor. But can he win three more Immunity Challenges in a row?

Survivor finale

Hannah. Oh Hannah! The game is yours for the taking! The million bucks is sitting there, waiting for you to grab it…are you going to take it?

As I detailed last week, Hannah is in a great position if the following can fall into place: If Jay doesn’t win Immunity, you vote him out first. If he does win, David goes home. Now you have either Bret or Ken with nowhere to turn, and if Hannah and Adam can use this person to then vote out Jay/David (whoever is remaining) or if this person wins Immunity AGAIN, you vote out the “other” player (Bret/Ken). Following me? Now you are down to four, with Adam, Hannah, either Bret/Ken, and either Jay/David. A perfect scenario for Hannah is that David and Jay go as the first two. If Hannah could then win final Immunity, or just get to the Final Three, she would have a compelling argument that, down the stretch, she was responsible for getting rid of Sunday, Jay and David, the latter of which are the game’s two toughest competitors. Cut Adam out at the last minute? That would be another way to boost the resume, but even alongside Adam and either Bret/Ken, I think Hannah has a legitimate shot at winning the game. If she’s not actively involved with who goes home at each Tribal tonight though, Hannah will be seen more as a goat than a hero. I’m rooting for you Hannah!

S33_Ep14_SG_040

Adam. Lost in all of this is Adam, who in my opinion is realistically in the best shape to win it all. I add to this that, from Episode 1, I felt like he had the air of a winner’s edit, and his story has been nothing short of emotionally powerful. David and Jay will likely be so focused on one another that I doubt Adam would be the immediate target, especially from Jay who has shown that he likes Adam as a person. As Jay and David gun for one another, Adam will slip through, and then slip through again, and will find himself at Final Four. If he can shed Hannah at that point, I think he wins in a landslide along Ken and Bret. Even up against David, I think Adam has votes enough to possibly win. Only Jay poses a threat, but if Adam was against Jay and another strong player who could get votes, like David, then it would be anybody’s game. Can an Adam, David, Jay finale three actually happen?  Only in my fantasies. But my pick to win at this point going into Finale is Adam Klein.

Be sure to come back tonight for my recap of the finale. We’ll also talk about the Live Reunion Show.  I for one can’t wait…I’ll see you on the other side.

TELL US – WHO IS YOUR PICK TO WIN SURVIVOR? DOES BRET OR KEN HAVE ANY CHANCE OF WINNING? WHAT DO YOU THINK THE LEGACY ADVANTAGE WILL BE?

PS – Oh yeah, and I know that this is a Survivor blog and all, but many of you may NOT know that I’m also a legit Film Critic, and member of the Broadcast Film Critics Association (who just held our “Critics Choice Awards” last weekend) and President of the Detroit Film Critics Society. I appear on FOX-2 in Detroit each week and am also part of a syndicated TV show called “Movie Show Plus” (check local listings!). Kenya Moore Shares Her Relationship Status & Her Take On The Confrontation With Matt Jordan

Matt & Kenya fight

Matt & Kenya fight

Things are getting rough for Kenya Moore this season on Real Housewives of Atlanta. Her confrontation with Matt Jordan in the last episode was hard to watch. It definitely got out of hand and both parties engaged in some he said, she said drama on social media. Kenya recently opened up about her current relationship status and that tough scene.

Sadly, the situation is getting even uglier, and I can’t see it dying down any time soon. After all, this is only the beginning of the season and it seems like there’s even more issues between the two in the present day. It’s unclear if Kenya and Matt are still a couple.

CLICK “CONTINUE READING” FOR MORE!

Aside from battling out for the last word on social media with Matt, Kenya opened up about that confrontation in an interview with Bravo.

Kenya described her thoughts during the fight with Matt by saying, “I was tired. Tired of constantly fighting over the petty things he initiates with self-sabotaging behavior that escalates to violent behavior.”

I don’t blame her, but it’s also kind of confusing since just recently Kenya was talking about doing what she could to work things out with Matt. Hopefully, seeing the incident on RHOA finally helped her come to the realization that she needs to leave this toxicity in the past.

Kenya said that she was surprised by by how the confrontation was depicted on the show, “I was shocked Bravo broke the fourth wall and showed me talking to my producer off camera. You can’t fake those moments. It was a very emotionally draining day.” Kenya also emphasized, “There is NEVER an excuse for violence.”

The big question now is what is Kenya relationship status with Matt these days. Well, if you’ve seen any of their social media accounts, you know that as of today, the two are not on good terms. After talking about Matt’s recent claim in the media, Kenya admitted, “I have done a lot of things in my life I am ashamed of, but I am most ashamed at myself for staying with this man and for letting down the women and young girls that look up to me. It doesn’t compare to the inner struggle I have had with myself.”

Kenya added, “Thank you for all your well wishes, prayers, and love. To the women who are in relationships where they feel afraid, threatened, or intimidated on any level at any time, leave and never look back.” Wow. This is very sad to hear no matter what you think of Kenya. Hopefully, she has really learned a lesson and is moving forward and past this relationship for good.

TELL US- DO YOU THINK KENYA & MATT ARE REALLY DONE FOR GOOD?

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Recap: Growing Up Is Hard To Do

LVP

LVP

On last night’s Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, one lady celebrated a monumental birthday, while another celebrated administering a monumental dose of comeuppance with the touch of her bejeweled-gloved fingers.

While Lisa Vanderpump is stewing in the juices of last season’s arguments, Kyle Richards is cruising around in a Lamborghini with Lisa Rinna. Look at Kyle, just gloating on air like the revolution of a Lambo’s wheels, so happy is she to be the appointed so-called peace-maker. Under Kyle’s caftan is a haven of support and unconditional gossip.

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

Kyle is already annoying me. I can’t stand when she pretends to play ‘mediator’ – she’s really just using other people’s issues to get attention and be in the middle of drama so she feels important. Inevitably, Kyle will botch this re-friendship situation, then turn it all into how no one supported her when she was there for them and make it all about herself. Kyle should just let someone like Erika Girardi – someone with more aplomb and smarts and less need for lavished praise = occupy the mediator role, while she sits there and makes goofy jokes. Kyle is at her best when she plays the Family Guy character who invaded RHOBH.

The funniest thing that came out of Kyle and Lipsa’s car ride to a row, row, your mouth exercise class was Lipsa admitting that when she input Dorit Kemsley into her iPhone, it got auto-corrected to “Dorito.” I too have been afflicted with that problem, and Dorit is filled with cheese crunch and possesses a rather fake-flavored accent, so perhaps it isn’t all that far from truth?

Well, someone loves Dorit Of Dorito-land just as she is, and that would be her husband PK. Sometimes one really does find their soulmate in a bar over banter – which is the British word for “small talk” (yes, I know PK was being facetious). Dorit is turning 40, which requires something all Real Housewives everywhere love above all else: a giant, expensive, silly-themed party all about them! For this one, PK is keeping Dorit in the dark and won’t let her be involved in any of the planning.

Dorit gets a new car for her birthday

Honestly, though, what do you get the woman who has everything? What do you get the woman who never goes within 5 miles of her own house? Other than Challa bread, you get her a $230,000 Bentley the color of over-egged Challa that she almost crashes in her own driveway. Whew, Dorit dodged a bullet! She almost got stuck with a “Tiffany blue Maserati” – how embarrassing!

What do you get the other woman who has everything, including mini horses? Well, a full-fledged horse she can ride on, of course! LVP has now added to her menagerie a horse named His Royal Highness, Prince Tardon, specifically for her to ride atop and cast her imperial glances down upon the rest of us. Never a seat in the saddle of battle was so comfortably occupied. Even by Napoleon!

Lisa Vanderpump adopts another horse

The horse, like Lisa’s conscious, is snow-white and of a rare breed of unimpeachable lineage. After dismounting from her trot ’round the ring, she murmurs to Ken, ever-present ego-guard, that she knows Dorit is too good of a friend to ever talk shit about her. Well that sounds like a healthy dose of foreshadowing.

In Erika Jayne land, T-shirts are the new dresses, and dancers are multiplying their legs into splits, because it’s time for a NEW ERICA JAYNE video. You know you’ve been waiting on bated breath…

Why does Erika have an entourage and enterprise as if she’s Beyonce? Sure, she’s got a kitschy kind of talent, but she’s no musical superstar, except in her own mind, and perhaps Eileen Davidson‘s and Tom’s. I swear, Don’t Be Tardy For The Party is more popular on iTunes (and Kim Zolciak hasn’t left her dressing room mirror since 2012.)

A new Erika Jayne video

Anyway, the latest video requires dancers with butts who can do splits in a bathing suit. Mikey, Erika’s what is he – like Oversee-er of the VaJayneJay? – is leading the casting and informs Erika that she too will need to do a drop split in a bikini. This makes Erika so sick with anxiety she goes home to vomit for two days, and ends up so disoriented she gifts Dorit a Chanel purse Erika herself has been lusting after. Is that also why she also forgot to wear pants to Dorit’s party?

RELATED – Erika Jayne Releases ‘How Many F–ks’ Video!

Well, Eileen has momentarily – I said momentarily! – stopped reminiscing about the apology LVP owes her in order to reminisce about her many years on Y&R. A part of me still loves Eileen – she’s got a certain, um, innate sophistication. That said, I hate the super white-blonde highlights. They are to Eileen’s head what Vinnie’s jeans are to Dorit’s birthday party. I also hate that try as she pretends she might, Eileen (like LVP) finds it impossible to simply move. on.

At Lipsa’s house, her daughter makes spaghetti with zucchini and they all eat like 2 bites before talking about Cindy Crawford giving Delilah modeling advice. This makes Amelia sulky – she wants to model, too. We also learn Lipsa grew up eating tater-tots, spam, and TV dinners – which explains a lot about her level of fakery!

On the bright side, Lipsa has decided she is completely over any drama with LVP. In this sentiment I feel Lipsa is genuine. She doesn’t like conflict – at least not with real friends – and she did genuinely enjoy her relationship with Lisa. So Lipsa realizes it’s better to open her lips good and wide to eat crow, or whatever it is LVP will put on the menu at SUR for this display of subSURviance. Just hope it’s not Jax Taylor, naked, on a platter!

Now it’s time for Dorito to add an extra layer of flavor by celebrating her birthday. Dorit doesn’t trust PK with her party because he’s usually very blasé with the details. For a woman accustomed to micromanaging, this is causing her nose to run with anxiety. She also barks at her hairdresser that he’s over-touching her hair, like it’s Kim Richards’ chicken salad or something!

Luckily, PK has other tricks up his sleeves, though. The evening starts out as your classic overly-stuffy cocktail party in what was once the great divorce room of J.Lo and Marc Anthony. Now, you know Kyle is going to be sidling up to Dorit extra-hard just in case she’d ever like to list this highly pedigreed (but dull as stucco) mansion. Just in case the fumes of an unhappy marriage haven’t been saged out enough to satisfy the current owners and are now ever-so-slightly haunting… Just in case!

LVP and Rinna try to move on

Anyway, for a man light on details PK has pulled out all the stops – even hiring mini Hummer golf carts to ferry guests from the bottom of the driveway (where valet takes their car) to the front door. This proves to be even too much walking LVP and her hella impractical heels. That was quite a look, right? Somewhat Elvira-ish, made for statement bitchiness glamour with those giant be-blinged gloves Erika was probably salivating over; and that choker – which I’m sure doubled as taser or a tranquilizer capsule holder, or a hypnotic stun-gun to neutralize and manipulate her enemies. Well it sure worked on Lipsa, who balefully accepted all of LVP’s snarking with good-natured flippancy. It was total ‘fake it til you make it’, but that’s Lipsa’s general operating mode and it was the right track to take.

Apparently this party had a red or black dress code? But then Erika arrived wearing a T-shirt with heels. It may have been a designer t-shirt but it was still ugly as sin – and it also sinned in violating Dorit’s carefully-crafted dress code. The lace on Dorit’s gown stiffened as she tried to brush off Erika’s disorderly conduct, but you could see it festering inside Dorit in a way that couldn’t be smoothed over even with Chanel + gift receipt! Erika is drinking only water because she’s ill. Maybe she rolled out of bed in her sleep shirt and slapped on some heels, before running out the door? The worst part is those boxy tunic-styles just aren’t flattering on her – she’s too curvy and they make her look dumpy.

Eileen radiated in red, and Kyle wore something predictably unflattering. Signifying that they’ll patch things up that night, the Lisas both wore black jumpsuits.

Eileen and LVP experience an awkward moment that was one for the soaps. LVP approaches Eileen and they rather slyly quasi-interrogate each other, country-club kindness style, and then LVP says, “I’m sorry…” causing Eileen to reel back slightly, with surprise, until LVP continues explaining she’s sorry Eileen’s mom passed. NOT for anything else.

Eileen stumbles the recovery and admits [to us] that she actually thought – for one inopportune minute – that LVP was apologizing for the affair drama of last season. Eileen – don’t even start that again! Don’t. Even. Start. Later Eileen jokingly confesses her gaffe to LVP, who will smirk that even if hell froze over, she wouldn’t apologize for that.

For Kyle, this tepid conversation between LVP and Eileen, however stilted and slimy, is still real progress! She’s super impressed at how well they’re getting along. Apparently Kyle is treating the many fractures of her friend group like a mom cheering on her little kid’s soccer game: giving lots of positive feedback and helpful tips in a fake supportive way, clapping overly-enthusiastically from the side-lines, silently holding her breath while her eyes ping-pong back and forth, and murmuring to the other parents about close-calls and good plays and the other team’s bad ref. Real Micro-Mom-Agers of Beverly Hills!

PK surprises Dorit with a Buddha lounge

At first Dorit is less-than wowed by PK’s party, because Hummer golf cart taxis aren’t enough. Unless you’re Lipsa who is impressed and notes, “These people have some money.” That they do – I wonder how they get it? An underground smuggling operation of Boy George‘s used eyeliner tubes? Sold exclusively to Kyle?

Then PK unveils the real party. He’s coverted the entire backyard into a lounge – everything shrouded in red and black, with sushi, ice sculptures, a dance floor, and a rather wonky close-up painting of Dorit’s face on what looked like a giant bath towel. She complains about it until PK informs her that Boy George painted it, so she swallows her gripes with a gulp of champs. Oops!

While everyone is bee-bopping around and eating lots of sushi to make up for Erika starving them at her party, Lipsa pulls LVP onto the dance floor and announces that it’s time to be friends again, so none of LVP’s turning those crystal gloves into pointed barbs and jabs is going to deter her. Lipsa proves sincerity by apologizing for being a shitty friend last season and she doesn’t even expect an apology in return! Instantly, LVP decides they’re good again.

With Eileen on the other hand – not so much! While Erika is lecturing PK on how Americans aren’t stupid, LVP is wielding that spicy British humor. Or so she says… When Eileen can’t find Vinnie (Look for the only guy wearing dad jeans with a blazer!), Lisa casually adjusts her opera-length gloves and wryly suggests that she may have seen him with his head up another woman’s skirt. Then she just let’s it hang there for a second too long before insisting that she’s joking. This is what makes LVP a professional HW and a genuinely riveting member of the reality TV community.

Eileen, armored with decades of professional soap experience, and one season of LVP operating experience, grimaces, laughs, then walks away. I imagine her chanting to herself: “I will not let this get to me… I will not let this get to me… I will not let this get to me… It’s fine… I will just laugh until I convince myself that LVP is just trying to unsettle me… I will just keep my distance but be polite… ”

LVP makes a bad joke to Eileen

Now LVP knows full-well if she made that joke to Dorit, Kyle, or even Erika, it would be just a saucy comment with no double-meaning; she also knew full-well that this comment aimed at Eileen was meant to be mean. I fully agree LVP should tread with caution in regards to these women, but she could show a little more grace.

Eileen just kept dancing the sting away. Just dancing, dancing…  When Kyle approached specifically to ask Lipsa and Eileen how things were going with LVP, Eileen repeated the comment while erratically swinging her arms and swaying to the beat. As Lipsa and Kyle registered their shock over LVP’s audacity, Eileen still danced (probably imagining herself Erika Jayne – so girded by corsets, sexy clothes, sycophantic ‘gays’, and don’t give a f–k attitudes that she’s untouchable).

So, tsk, tsk, Kyle – consider yourself warned that LVP will take no prisoners!

TELL US – IS LVP BEING TOO HARD ON EILEEN AND LIPSA? BETTER BIRTHDAY PARTY: DORIT OR ERIKA?

Ladies Of London Recap: Rules Of Enragement

Ladies of London recap

Ladies of London recap

Have you heard of Mapperton? No? Really? Well, let Julie Montagu introduce you to it for the thousandth time! Hear ye, Hear ye! Let it be known throughout the kingdom that Mapperton is a magical place of stables and gardens and struggling gift shops, the hopes of which reside precariously upon the shaky shoulders of the future Sandwich Countess! Er, Countess of Sandwich. Otherwise known as Julie, the unofficial Ladies Of London town crier.

Although Julie is quite impressed with her estate and the aristocratic glitter dust that comes with it, Caroline Stanbury is certainly not – nor is she impressed with those who do pledge allegiance to Julie’s schemes and delusions. Thus, when the ladies visit Mapperton this week, Julie and long time (soon to be former?) friend Adela King are caught in the cross hairs of Caroline’s wrath.

After the difficult birth of their daughter, Sadie, Marissa Hermer and hubby Matt are enjoying their time at home. Marissa is wondering where home is though, because apparently Matt has dreams of moving to California. Marissa is not down with these plans. She attributes Matt’s desire to “cut and run” to his semi-failing nightclub business and family drama. It’s all taken a toll.

But Marissa has other plans to achieve a new normal. She’s throwing a caviar-laced tea party for the ladies! ALL of the ladies? Hmm.

At Baroness Caroline Fleming’s home, she’s kneading bread (is that challah?) and hosting therapist Caroline Dolby for another session. She must process the Denmark SNAFU which she totally caused. When she was asked why she was spending so much time in Denmark by the paparazzi, Caroline spilled the beans of her father’s poor health. Now her father’s wife is mad at her about the bad press. (Or what they deem as bad press.) It’s not about the press, though, as Caroline admits her relationship with her family is forever fractured by their long held perceptions of her.

When Caroline got divorced in 2007, her family took sides with her ex, which she thinks was more about money than familial loyalty. She’s been grieving the loss of her father for quite some time, but now that he’s actually in danger of dying, she’ll need to decide whether to hold out hope anymore for reconciliation.

In a cab on their way to Marissa’s, Caroline S allows Caroline F to touch up her makeup. Shocking! They are excited to meet baby Sadie, although Caroline S admits she likes having babies…but then likes letting them “go away for a few years” before engaging with them again. Nice. #MotherOfTheYear

As Sophie Stanbury makes her way to Marissa’s, she gets a call from the very woman herself. And it’s troubling news: Marissa is back in the hospital with Sadie, who woke up listless and gray-ish that morning. Through tears, Marissa expresses her raw fear while Sophie assures her all will be okay – and that she loves her. She then calls Caroline F to deliver the sad news. Both Carolines are troubled to hear about Marissa’s ordeal. It’s every parent’s nightmare. But they do agree to do lunch together before heading home.

Sophie-Stabury-Walking-Phone-Orange-Skirt-2-Ladies-Of-London

Sophie then heads to Julie’s home after giving her the bad news, where they discuss Marissa. Julie is sympathetic – in her typical frenzied way. But when Marissa calls to tell Sophie and Julie that Sadie is showing improvement, Julie stops spinning a bit. They both feel relieved for their friend. Then, like clockwork, Julie instantly makes Marissa’s actual drama her own imaginary drama by whining that not having Marissa at an event makes her life harder! Whah! And everybody already knows how hard Julie’s life already is – what with her crumbling castles and bicycle peddling and amazing balls and tea towel hawking and sensitive person disorder-ing! <eye roll>

Then, in an attempt to prove her loyalty to Julie, Sophie vows that she will never make the mistake of passing gossip between Julie and Caroline S ever again. She doesn’t want to put Julie in a more awkward position. (Does this chick not understand that “awkward position” is Julie’s middle name? Her life is one giant effort in struggling out of said position.) Speaking of awkward, Julie is inviting Caroline S to her weekend “retreat” at Mapperton. Because she’s the bigger person in her mind.

After the hospital scare, Marissa and Matt walk home processing what happened. “It’s too much, you know?” laments Marissa, breaking down in exhausted tears. Matt assures her that their priority is family, no matter what. Matt wins best husband edit this season, hands down! (Truly, he does seems like a dedicated hubs.)

Time to make the trek to Mapperton! Adela King and Sophie drive together with no idea what’s in store for them. But while they make plans to whoop it up for the weekend, Julie is at Mapperton decidedly whooping it down. Starting with her big plans of toast for their first girls’ breakfast together. Oh wait – apparently eggs and salmon will also be involved. So. There’s that.

Andrew, Julie’s butler, is not just a butler. He’s a butler’s butler, dontchaknow? And he’s polite enough to listen to Julie’s “Lady of the Manor” instructions – or lack thereof – with a smile and a wink. Julie is grateful for his total leadership help.

In another ill-fated car, Caroline S, Caroline’s makeup artist/constant companion, LukeCaroline F, and random friend Kim all suffer through listening to Juliet Angus bust out a Mapperton rap. “I hate this trip already,” deadpans Caroline S. They are also very late. For a very important date! At least they are being spared from Adela and Sophie’s fate, which holds them hostage to Julie’s scintillating story of how the moniker of Sandwich came to be. This is a School House Rocks video waiting to happen: How a plebe becomes a sandwich!

Also, there is better food in the car than on the sad little table Julie has laid out before her guests. But when the crew does arrive – three hours late – they are at least served champagne. Caroline S also serves up some truth (at Julie’s prodding): She grew up on an estate much like Mapperton and wants nothing to do with that sort of lifestyle anymore.

Cue Anthea! Gift shop hater lady, Anthea deigns to take the ladies on a guided tour of the estate. She also decides to tell them about the “ghost room.” Adela is freaked out. Is she supposed to SLEEP in there? No matter! For there are scarier things afoot – like Julie’s new house rules. She doesn’t want to see the same “abominable behavior” from these heifers she bore witness to last time, so she lays down the law. 1) No complaining about the food or passing plates around the table! 2) No smoking on the lawn! 3) Be at dinner, 8 o’clock sharp!

Julie’s all, “It’s MY manor!” on them. Caroline S comments that Julie is turning into her own personal nightmare, snarking later, “Julie, I’m not here for your amusement. You’re here for mine.” She ain’t afraid of no ghost. Or no Lady-come-lately.

But wait – what’s this setup? Only Adela and Sophie are staying at Mapperton overnight? In any case, Caroline S, Luke, Kim, Caroline F, and Juliet are whisked away to a seaside resort for their stay. Maybe the house rules pushed them over the edge? Oh, no. Apparently, Julie chose this hotel for them – which is 30 minutes away. And which Caroline S uses as an excuse to be very (purposely) late to dinner.

As Caroline S and crew arrive two and a half hours late, Julie gets the sinking feeling that her “rules” basically had zero effect. It’s game on. Reveling in her pointed rudeness, Caroline S turns her back on Julie to chat it up with Adela, Juliet, Kim, and Sophie before dinner, while Caroline F is left to act as janitor, sweeping up the shards of Julie’s crushed ego. But Caroline’s ego is being poked a bit now – this time by Adela.

Caroline-Stanbury-Cream-Dress-Dinner-Ladies-Of-London

Julie shockingly (or shrewdly?) places Juliet and Caroline S flanking her at dinner. Keeping her enemies close, perhaps? As dinner progresses, Adela notes that Caroline S is increasingly acting like a child – which she definitely is, given her icy silence and side-eye throughout the evening. Julie thought that breaking bread with Juliet and Caroline S would smooth the waters, but she’s not feeling the love reciprocated. Caroline smells bullsh*t. She sees Julie as a braggart who wants to prove she’s above them all.

Sidebar – is Juliet wearing a costume reject from Little House on the Prairie in homage to her really real American-ness? Because home girl looks HIDEOUS.

As Julie lays out plans to go boating the next day, Caroline S says she’s basically not interested. At all. (It’s nearly the first thing she’s said since sitting down to dinner!) Adela is horrified at Caroline’s bad manners. “You are being very spoiled,” she says to her old friend, noting how whiny and petulant Caroline is acting. But Caroline isn’t up for this criticism, nor is she up for Julie’s house rules, which automatically put her off. She wants to escape this life, not relive it with a royal wannabe. Juliet chimes in that this fake aristocratic sh*t is cray-cray, and she’s done with it too! Sigh. Juliet’s role of sidekick must pay well, because she’s taking this act way too seriously this year.

As Caroline F looks on with displeasure at her two friends popping off at the dining room table, Caroline S decides to get into it with Adela, who is putting Caroline on blast for being a brat. “I’m so sick of you, Adela. You really are being a pain in the f–king a$$!” accuses Caroline before storming out of dinner and into the waiting car Luke already has warmed up. After he probably just smoked a contraband cig on the lawn.

Next week previews Julie running after Caroline, but something tells me she is on yet another fool’s errand. These women will never be friends. Maybe a new house rule about not inviting people to dinner who hate you is in order?

TELL US: IS JULIE TOO OVERBEARING WITH HER RULES, OR IS CAROLINE S JUST A SPOILED BRAT? WILL THIS BE A PERMANENT TURNING POINT FOR ADELA AND CAROLINE S?

Lisa Rinna Admits To Being Easily Manipulable; Dishes On Drama Between Lisa Vanderpump And Kyle Richards

Lisa Rinna confronts Erika Jayne

Lisa Rinna confronts Erika Jayne

Loose lips sink friendships…never is that more true than when gossip comes from Lisa Rinna‘s lips. Dishing on how this season of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills differs from last season, Lisa isn’t holding back, even revealing there’s trouble in paradise between Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump all because of the ever-present naughty little word “manipulate.” That old friend again…

“I don’t feel like I am the villain this year. It’s not who I am – I just get caught in situations that may look like I could be the villain, I think.” Lisa explains.

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

“All I know is, the dynamic is different; the energy’s different. Having the new girls come in, bringing all new blood, there’s a lot of other things that go on.”

“It is one of the hardest jobs I have ever done,” Lisa tells Jenny McCarthy. “People can hate the actor, but to hate the person is a different thing. Last year was a very, dark hard year for all of us.”

This season, Lisa bonded and fought with newbies Dorit Kemsley and Eden Sassoon, who were thrown into ring without any preparation, as is the custom on RHOBH. “It’s trial by fire,” explains Lipsa. “You have to go through it. And if you’re where I am now, or where Kyle and Lisa are now, cause they have been here for seven years, you know how to play the game.”

RELATED – LVP Is Not Letting Lisa And Eileen Off The Hook

“You have to be your real self or people are like, ‘I call bulls–t on that,'” she warns. One problem with playing your real self on TV is that you’re always bringing your work home with you. Lisa’s daughters Delilah and Amelia Gray have difficulty reconciling the women they know in real life, who are her mom’s friends, with the women they see on the show – including their mom!

“My daughters tell me, ‘You’re good crazy, you’re not bad crazy,'” Lisa laughs. “They love Lisa Vanderpump, they love all these girls, they love Kyle, they love Eileen, so it must be really confusing for them in their heads.”

On her situation with LVP, they’ve come along way, though Lisa is candid that she prefers the kinder, sillier, more motherly LVP on Vanderpump Rules to the LVP on Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.

“I was watching Vanderpump Rules, and I said, ‘I like that person! Why isn’t that person on our show?'” Lisa jokes. “She’s good on Vanderpump Rules – isn’t that weird?”

Speaking of a not so nice Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle is back in her cross-hairs! Unleash the Pom Army!

RELATED – Remembering Reality TV’s Most Manipulative Moments

The drama started over Kyle’s comment during the premiere episode that LVP will forgive Lipsa sooner than she will forgive Eileen, because Lipsa is easier to manipulate. Lipsa is not mad about Kyle’s assertion, but LVP sure is. “I could not care less,” Lisa scoffs. “I am easily manipulable! That’s the truth!”

Vanderpump was so mad at Kyle for saying that. Seriously. She left the [season premiere] party early,” Lipsa reveals. “She wants Kyle to stand up for her and only say nice things, so I guess if you do not…she got in trouble for it. So, it’s really interesting.”

“No one really likes to have that word said – let’s just say that,” muses Lisa. “Never say never, but I don’t say that word anymore.”

Interesting, indeed.

TELL US – DOES LVP HAVE A REASON TO BE MAD AT KYLE? DO YOU THINK LIPSA WILL HAVE A BETTER SEASON?
