Real Housewives Of New Jersey Recap: Tumors

Real Housewives of New Jersey recap

Real Housewives of New Jersey recap

Season 7 of Real Housewives Of New Jersey continues to center around the transformation of Teresa Giudice. Flashbacks to the season 4 reunion feature an enraged Teresa, morphed into TreHulk – bright green dress and all! – screaming into Kathy Wakile‘s face, contrasted with a post-prison Teresa, calmly explaining that she’s just “not ready” to deal with the emotional weight of rebuilding her relationships with her cousins. Instead, it is Rosie screaming in frustration.

It exemplifies a point that no one on Real Housewives of New Jersey seems to understand until it is way too late: no matter how much you want it so, no matter how much you regret your actions – from the person you married, to the words you said, to all the money you shouldn’t have spent – you can’t erase the past. In the immortal words of Cher, “If I could turn back time/If I could find a way/ I’d take back those words that hurt you…”

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

That entire song can serve as one big metaphor for this cast. And Cher, hopping around in a lycra merkin, which I am POSITIVE would be included in a Teresa-of-yore bikini fashion show, is the perfect person to explain that words can be like a weapon. But of course, actions are also like a weapon. When you reach for someone else’s stars, to try and pull them down to shroud your own ego with, it doesn’t usually end well.

So regret is like a vast endless universe, you’re left forever staring up at those skies, wondering which one became the comet that crashed and burned.

Ever since Kathy and Rosie begged for Teresa’s forgiveness at her book singing, Jacqueline Laurita and Siggy Flicker have made it their mission to reunify the family; Jacqueline because she’s friends with both Teresa and Kathy, and Siggy because she’s officially become Bravo’s version of Dr. Phil and has a million corny advice-filled parables to dispense. Just so you know, if you don’t put gas in your cow, it won’t moo milk into marble, which is where love is built right on the edge of greatness in diamonds… yeah – gobbledygook (sort of like my Cher metaphor above).

Rosie sniffles into her whiskey that she needs Teresa to give her another chance. Jacqueline and Siggy decide to beseech Teresa to at least have lunch with Kathy and Rosie, just to hear them out, specially because of Victoria’s health and their parents getting older. But Teresa has bigger worries…

Juicy is one month away from prison and drinking every night just to fall asleep. Teresa and Melissa Gorga take a momerscize walk (walking the neighborhood once the kids leave for school), and Teresa opens up about Juicy being in denial. While Teresa just powered through, pretending it wasn’t reality until the cell slammed shut, Juicy is wallowing, drunkenly. Since this season is all about the girls doing it for themselves, Teresa and Melissa agree that women are stronger and more capable than men. Which is why Teresa has become a more open, honest, and realistic person while Juicy turned into a drunk.

Melissa is delighted by her peaceful relationship with this new Teresa. Once the mighty fall, it’s Melissa’s for the taking! Or maybe The Nu-Teresa has just finally realized she doesn’t have to wall herself off in marble, on the island of the proud where sequins serve as the phony starlight.

Ashlee gets engaged

Across town, Ashlee is walking along the Jersey riverfront wearing ill-advised ankle booties (but thankfully no slouch hat), when her (now) fiance drops down on one knee to propose. Jacqueline is overjoyed because now Ashlee can have the wedding Jacqueline never did – which will take a year or two to plan (?!). Congrats!

Jacqueline immediately skips over to Dolores Catania‘s gym, where Dolores has actually shown up! All the employees wonder why this bossy woman in leggings is lecturing them, but when Jac arrives looking for Dolores, and asks them to store a Quarter Pounder with cheese (while wearing a quarter pound of makeup), they assume Dolores is just batshit crazy and humor her out of fear.

Jacqueline can't stay out of Teresa's family issues

Proving she is truly crazy, Jacqueline meets Teresa and Siggy to try and cajole Teresa into meeting with her cousins. Teresa is immediately annoyed, but instead of being shrieky about it, she just insists she’s not ready and tells Jacqueline to stay the f–k out of her family. Seriously – does Jac ever learn? I mean, Teresa has asked her about 3 zillion times to keep her surgically altered nose out of Teresa’s family matters, yet Jacqueline, like a hound dog sniffing for drugs at the airport, cannot resist! She noses in then has a meltdown when Teresa doesn’t want to be her friend anymore!

I personally thought Teresa handled this maturely. She gets blindsided at lunch, but instead of overreacting, she basically was like ‘nope – too much other emotional stuff going on in my life right now which takes precedence, can’t deal with my cousins drama – especially when they hurt me and were basically using my legal situation to get camera time.’

Teresa says her peace, then bails out, with barely a sip of wine, leaving Jacqueline and Siggy stupefied. And with the check.

Did anyone else notice that every single lunch, dinner, drink scene on last night’s episode took place at the same restaurant?

Melissa, howevertakes Siggy’s advice about investing in her marriage, so she drags Poison to get Botox in what looked like a kitchen from 1992. Was that golden oak cabinetry?! The Botox injections are a necessity if Poison hopes to inject his somethin-somethin into Melissa, because his hotness will be “on fire” once he no longer has lines on his forehead. What about if he gets hair – will he spontaneously combust?

While waiting for the doctor, they discuss the matter of Teresa and her cousins. Shockingly, Poison is on Teresa’s side; he feels she’s justified in being angry over Kathy and Rosie’s comments.

Melissa decides Teresa needs a break from the stress in her life, and since soon she won’t be spending enough time away from Juicy, proposes a trip to Vermont. Siggy laments the freezing location until Melissa tactfully reminds her that Teresa is on parole and can’t go too far. In fact, Melissa planned to also invite the husbands, but Juicy can’t leave Jersey.

Teresa is resistant to go, because she doesn’t want to leave Juicy … but then she remembers she sort of needs the money and can’t afford to skip, so she’s cajoled into strapping on her snow boots for the freezing Vermont. After all how icy can it get?! (Ugh – after the super disappointing Real Housewives Of New York trip in which Fibroids McGee ‘couldn’t travel and no one is allowed to leave New York without her’, not looking forward to another bummer of a cast trip. Couldn’t Teresa just stay back in Jersey while the other ladies go somewhere fabulous?! Bravo needs to up their game, and we need to see amazing scenery!)

Later, Kathy has Melissa, Rosie, Jacqueline, Siggy, and Poison over for drinks where naturally the ONLY topic of conversation is Tre! Of course! Do these people anything else in common besides Teresa and prosciutto?!

Dr. Siggy has her head in her hands, wiping away her tears, when she realizes just how deep the layers of dysfunction go. Hence why Dolores probably declined her invite – she knows. Once you burn a bridge in Jersey, you’re stranded on the Hudson for life!

Richie causes more drama

While Kathy vents that Teresa has made just as many hurtful comments, Melissa and Poison find themselves trapped between a rock and a hard place and want to change the subject. Jacqueline is quick to remind them that for many many years Kathy, Richie, and Rosie sat listening to Melissa and Joe vent and wrench about Teresa, so now it’s their turn. “Why are you more upset than she is?!” Melissa snaps to Jacqueline, indicating to Kathy. TOUCHE!!!!!

After working so hard on her relationship with Teresa, Melissa yells that she won’t get involved. But Richie can and will! He implies the problem is that Juicy doesn’t love Teresa, plus her fambly is a mess. Unlike his own, which is perfect and full of love, and to illustrate, he grabs Kathy in a headlock and forces a kiss on her.

Poison yells at Richie that his tongue has no bones, but it can still break a heart – which isn’t even from Siggy’s advice. It’s a real expression, and I’m pretty sure that’s what it feels like when Richie kisses Kathy

Richie’s inference-laden jabs are why Teresa isn’t in the mood to forgive – all those comments, and despite Richie playing dumb that he’s never meant to hurt Teresa, Poison calls him out. “Everyone knows what Richie meant,” intones Captian Obvi-ista Melissa in the confessional.

Joe Gorga defends Teresa

Then Rosie flips out about how no one loves Kathy enough, so no one is good for cannoli anymore.

Poison makes a decision right then and there: He is Team Tre. Maybe he doesn’t believe Kathy and Rosie are sincere about wanting to rebuild their family? Whatever his reasons, decides the fambly feud will rage on, Teresa must make the defensive strike using her tongue to tell Kathy and Rosie they’re out.

Apparently, Poison has been doing too much women stuff lately – cause picking up kids at the bus and burning microwave popcorn is women’s work – and he’s turned into a total shit-stirring gossip! (I’m not complaining…)

Poison meets Teresa at the gym to impart the latest revelation from Richie’s mouth. Teresa admits Richie’s negativity is one of the major reasons she wants to keep her distance from Kathy and Rosie, and announces she’s done thinking about them altogether. Poison convinces her that she has meet them for lunch so they can hear it directly that she’s not interested in a relationship with them. She refuses, until Poison hints that then she’ll be the coward… Ain’t nobody calls Teresa a coward! She’s in –  if Poison comes with her for moral support. (I do think it was good that the didn’t go to this meeting alone).

I like Teresa and Joe getting along. The last time they were at the gym together a huge fight erupted and Teresa threw water in her brother’s face. One thing I love about RHONJ is that, for the most part, the emotions and conversations are real because these people really are invested in each other. Teresa is done with Kathy and Rosie

Before Teresa and Joe arrive for lunch, Kathy and Rosie rehearse the game plan of focusing on what matters: rebuilding the family for their parents and their children. They envision a utopian future where their fambly swings on branches from cannoli trees and sips wine from the river of fruitful forgiveness, and in the midst is the new family matriarch, Kathy, bestowing pingoli cookies to all who heed her advice.

Unfortunately, Teresa calls them cancer and says she wants to cut them out of her life since they basically only started reaching out to her again when the RHONJ cameras turned back on. Then they all hug and kiss, and promise to K.I.T, as if it was the last day of junior year and they’ll be back once summer ends.

Rosie & Kathy

After Teresa and Poison depart, no food eaten or ordered, Kathy and Rosie sit there in quietude, lost in their thoughts. Or maybe they were shocked Teresa didn’t flip the table or stab them with some biscotti? She didn’t even yell! She was all composed and articulate, while explaining that she was too hurt presently. She started to get jabby by reminding Kathy that Richie threw her cookbook away, but Poison, on guard, redirected her to focus – chemo of the fambly.

In the parking lot and in the car, Teresa starts to cry. She flaps her hands in front of her face to avoid smudging her makeup, her shield in the form of 14 layers of FeatherLash on top false eyelashes. Or maybe she was flapping her hands hoping to fly away to somewhere sunny and warm and free of frigid dramas? Instead she’ll have to settle for Vermont. But at least she has Poison’s warm hand steering the wheel, handing her a tissue. At least Melissa is too busy with Envy to f–k up the cookies, which leaves Teresa in charge. At least she has that.

Teresa cries

And in Kathy’s white Range Rover, “If I Could Turn Back Time” comes on the radio, reminding us that you can’t always find a way…

TELL US – SHOULD TERESA HAVE GIVEN KATHY AND ROSIE ANOTHER CHANCE? DOES JACQUELINE NEED TO STAY OUT OF IT?

Big Brother 18: Julie Chen Picks the Winner and America’s Favorite Player

The Big Brother 2016 finale happens in two days. Fans and the final three have speculated about who will take the Big Brother 18 title. Even Big Brother host Julie Chen has joined the winner speculation.

2016-08-25_18-46-41

Recently, Julie spoke to The Hollywood Reporter to discuss Big Brother. She joked about being a Big Brother geek who used sticky notes to map out possible scenarios and winners.

In Julie’s mind, every scenario resulted in a 5-4 vote. Of the final three, she felt James Huling least deserved to win Big Brother 18. He didn’t play the game hard enough. Julie eventually said that she was rooting for Paul Abrahamian to win.

…Nicole (Franzel) disappointed me this year. I guess she’s playing the game, but I didn’t like how she wasn’t loyal to anyone but Corey. I didn’t like her being a snake, as Michelle would say. My calculations show that no matter who Paul is sitting against, he wins. He has at least one more vote than the other person.

Julie also shared her five dream Big Brother All-Star players, her favorite winner, and her opinion on the jury. She also shared who she thought would win America’s Favorite Player

I think he(Victor)’s going to win that! He’s won the respect of a lot of people because you really got to know him when he went back in the house. When he left, he was this young hotdog and you didn’t really get to know what a sweet guy he is and good competitor he is.

We’ll have to wait until Wednesday’s Big Brother 2016 finale to see if any of Julie’s predictions come true.

Erika Jayne Headlines Gay Pride Festival In Dallas

Erika Jayne

Erika-Jayne-Dallas-Pride

Whether you know her as Erika Girardi or Erika Jayne, one thing that’s clear about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is that she is a very vocal advocate for LGBT rights. Not only is Erika a genuine supporter of the gay community, but the community also loves her back. It was only fitting that Erika served as the headliner for Dallas Gay Pride.

Erika was the perfect person for this role because she is an ally who cares about the obstacles the community faces and she is also an energetic entertainer. A lot of us know Erika because she joined the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but she built her career performing at LGBT-friendly venues.

The big event went down on Sunday September 18 and Erika was pumped to perform at pride. That morning she tweeted, “Good morning Dallas. I’m excited to be here!” with a smiley face and star emoji, of course.

The radio station sponsoring the event tweeted, “@erikajayne our girl is back!! We love you & can’t wait to see you!” Erika quoted the tweet and added, “Yay!! I love you too @MoreHits1037! Happy to be back in Dallas! #dallaspride.”

The radio station posted a photo of Erika performing on Twitter and wrote, “Thanks for everybody that joined us at Dallas Pride today! And to @erikajayne for hanging with us! #erikajayne.”

Erika-Jayne-Dallas-Pride-Performance

Needless to say, I’m pretty jealous of everyone at Dallas Pride who got to see Erika Jayne’s performance. I’m sure she killed it and that she probably added some kind words about the pride event as well. I’m just hoping that the performance and whatever else happened behind the scenes gets shown on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

90 Day Fiance Recap: Meet The Family

90 Day Fiance recap

Nicole-Crying-2-90-Day-Fiance

Last night’s 90 Day Fiance took us across the globe to Morocco, where Nicole and Azan are finding out the unexpected places internet “dating” can lead – like deserts, no hand holding, and jail. Also, Anfisa laid down the law for Jorge, who has to decide if there can be romance without finance. (Psssst, Jorge: The short answer with this chick is NO, or rather, NYET!)

In Morocco, Nicole is trying her best to pretend that Azan is in love with her. This is the first time the couple has met in person, so sh*t just got real! Nicole is staying at a local hotel for 5 weeks, but she’ll have to play by the rules. According to the Muslim tradition in Azan’s culture, there can be no public displays of affection, but Nicole tries her best to maul Azan in the privacy the hotel courtyard. She even sneaks in a smooch, which makes Azan look like he is going to faint. Not in the good way.

CLICK THE CONTINUE READING BUTTON FOR MORE!

Despite this, Azan claims “I want to make sex with Nicole because…I love her, ya.” They close the door to Nicole’s private room to get down to business… allegedly.

Jorge-Anfisa-Beach-Selfie-Rocks-90-Day-Fiance

Back in LA, Jorge is driving Anfisa home. Jorge tells her he wants to grow old with her, which makes Anfisa roll her eyes with the vengeance of a tween who just got her phone taken away. She doesn’t care about meeting Jorge’s family, nor does she care if they think she’s using him for money. She’s got a master plan here and ain’t nobody gonna blow up her game!

Anfisa also wants to live in a real house, not the hotel Jorge is temporarily residing in. (And exactly why IS he living in a hotel?) Jorge intimates that there are things Anfisa doesn’t know about him yet, and they’ll be hard to tell her. “You’re the boss,” he coos after they get home. #StatingTheObvious

Allas-Son-Matt-Smiling-90-Day-Fiance

In Kentucky, Matt, Alla, and her 6-year old son Max are settling in to Matt’s home. They need food, thus grocery shopping will be their first romantic bonding experience! Alla can’t believe the size of American grocery stores. Matt can’t believe how tough it is to place a 6-year old in a cart. Uh, maybe because 6-year olds don’t belong in carts? Alla seems bewildered by the huge selection of items. She just wants a simple onion! Where are the ONIONS!?!? Matt is not of much help, seemingly unable to soothe his bride to be over a measly produce hunt.

Living a total lie in Atlanta is what Chantel has asked Pedro to do with her, so simple chores are the last thing on this couples’ mind. They’ve got to figure out how to keep their engagement a secret from Chantel’s family first. She introduces Pedro, who speaks very little English, to her brother and sister, who speak no Spanish. So, maybe this secret will be pretty easy to keep after all?

Chantel-Peach-Shirt-90-Day-Fiance

It’s Chantel’s mother’s birthday, so she and Pedro meet the entire family out for a celebratory meal. Pedro tries his best to communicate, but doesn’t understand most of what is said to him. “I am very nervous to meet you,” is about all he can muster. Chantel finally (mercifully!) translates for him so he can discuss his plans here in the U.S., which include studying English and marrying their daughter in 85 days.

Chantel’s dad seems confused. And he should be. Chantel wants her family to get to know Pedro before they spill the beans about their engagement, but based on this awkward first try, one has to wonder exactly how she plans to accomplish this?

Uggggghhhhh! Back in Morocco, Nicole tells Azan “this is like a dream” as they lay in bed. “He’s like my soulmate,” she delusionally giggles. “I. Love. You.” Azan answers robotically. He’s sticking to his script (for now). Out shopping later, Nicole wants to link arms with Azan. She wants to hold his hand. She wants to all but devour him in public, essentially.

Azan wants different things, like a fiance who “eats healthy and goes to the gym.” Not one who complains there are no french fries in Morocco. So, soulmates!

Meanwhile, Alla is learning all about what Matt wants, like his wish to eat dinner with his brothers every Sunday. She doesn’t like all of this forced family bonding, telling his family “I need some time to gather my thoughts” when they grill her about her feelings. She feels like this is not dinner; it’s an interrogation. Which, yeah, it might be. But then again, that kind of comes with the territory when you fly across the world with your child to marry someone you’ve only met a few times, doesn’t it?

Matt seems ignorant about Alla’s discomfort with the situation. Mr. Thrice Divorced may not be too quick on the uptake when it comes to his partner’s feelings, though. Just a guess!

There’s trouble in paradise when the police arrive at Nicole’s hotel in Morocco, which scares Azan into thinking they’ve come to arrest them for sharing a room together! Unmarried couples are not allowed to do this. Nicole freaks, then packs up her sh*t, only to find out later that the police were present at the hotel for an entirely unrelated issue. Azan feels like he’s about to be put in jail at any minute, all the same. (Raise your hand if you think Azan maybe called those police himself? Hmmm…)

Back in Atlanta, Pedro meets Chantel’s brother River at the barbershop for a haircut. He hopes talking to River is easier than talking to Chantel’s dad. A good haircut speaks every language, so Pedro happily accepts River’s guidance in getting a new ‘do. River doesn’t understand how a guy who barely speaks English can get a damn visa to go to school in the U.S.? He confesses to Pedro that his entire family is nervous about this super shady situation, which only serves to heighten Pedro’s discomfort. Chantel’s family are not idiots.

Speaking of idiots, Jorge and Anfisa hang out at their hotel pool. Jorge is in love with Anfisa. Anfisa is in love with being in America, all expense paid. But she doesn’t like not getting her way, and she let’s Jorge know this in no uncertain terms. “I can go back to Russia if I don’t like something,” she warns.

Shutting his phone and email down after Jorge refused to buy her a $10K Chanel purse was only the beginning of what Anfisa of the enormously enhanced lips is capable of doing. Jorge lamely argues that they need to work things out more maturely in the future. She scoffs at his feeble begging. She is NOT trifling with this fool if he doesn’t pay up!

Azan-Nicole-Morroco-Bazar-90-Day-Fiance

Now that the police have scattered, Azan and Nicole can emerge from the hotel again. Weary of not being able to grope him in public, Nicole tries her best to test Azan as they shop at a local market. Azan looks ready to bolt in 3…2…1… Instead, he sternly reminds her over and over (and over) that this is not okay! Azan wonders how he’ll manage a relationship with Nicole in the long term if she isn’t capable of grasping even the simplest of directives right now. Nicole is just wondering where she can get some processed food.

Nicole couldn’t care less about Azan’s customs, his religious traditions, nor the country that dictates these rules. She’s a moronic child who want what she wants when she wants it, even if she gets hauled off to a foreign jail while doing it.

As they head off to separate rooms that night, Nicole cries herself to sleep. She doesn’t get any more sexy times with Azan! She whines, “my heart knows that he loves me,” but his culture just won’t let him show it. Ah, Danielle 2.0, we see you. Keep telling yourself this is all about “love” and maybe it’ll stick, right? Sadly, we all know where that got Danielle 1.0!

*Sigh*

It’s a toss up whether this couple or Jorge and Anfisa are more brutally dysfunctional. So much stupid, so little time. (90 days, to be exact!)

TELL US: IS NICOLE INCAPABLE OF RESPECTING AZAN’S CULTURE? WILL CHANTEL AND PEDRO BE FORCED TO TELL THE TRUTH SOON? WHAT IS JORGE’S BIG SECRET?

Melissa Gorga Weighs In On Teresa Giudice’s Feud With Kathy Wakile And Rosie Pierri

WWHL Melissa Gorga

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga and former Fashion Queens star Bevy Smith were guests on tonight’s Watch What Happens Live. Melissa shared her thoughts on the Teresa Giudice feud with Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri and reveals if she plans to visit Joe Giudice in prison.

The first viewer question asks why Melissa loved Rosie and Kathy last season when they stood up for her, but this season she’s dropping them. “I’m not dropping them. I feel like we have grown apart, I’m not gonna lie about that. They actually stopped calling me to start that off. Sometimes people just grow apart and we didn’t have a big fight. I love them very much – they’re like family – they ARE family to us. I feel like what goes on between them and Teresa runs deep down the line. Like before I was even around, generations.

Why did Joe tell Teresa what Richie Wakile said? Was he trying to make the situation worse? “No, she’s obviously gonna see it and hear about it anyway. They’re at the point where there’s no secrets anymore. If someone says it and does it, obviously it’s gonna be said and there’s no hiding anything we say or do.”

Does Melissa think Teresa will ever be able to move on from her hurt with Kathy and Rosie? “I think Teresa goes through a process. It takes time and it has to process. I don’t know how else to explain that. It takes a minute and I think she’s gotta get over one thing before she can approach the next thing. And I think she’s stuck in the rut right now of she doesn’t feel it’s genuine. She feels like it’s for reason that are not real and she can’t get past that.”  Melissa adds that she thinks there’s truth to both sides. “I do believe they want to be back in the family and wanna be with us, but I do see that she feels like they didn’t reach out when she was away.” Andy comments that they weren’t on Teresa’s list. Melissa says neither was she but she still wrote letters and sent pictures.

Andy asks if Melissa and Joe will be visiting Juicy in prison. Melissa says Joe plans to.

Poll Question: whose side are you on? Teresa or Kathy/Rosie? 60% said Kathy/Rosie. Andy says it’s interesting because Teresa won the same poll last week.

Real Housewives of New Jersey Star Melissa Gorga Promises The Rest Of The Season Is Explosive

Melissa returns to the kitchen where she belongs

Melissa returns to the kitchen where she belongs

Melissa Gorga has been struggling all season to find a way to keep her family and her business endeavors in balance. She shares in her latest blog that they’re still in a work in progress.

She starts off, “Watching these last two episodes you really get to see the struggle Joe and I have been going through balancing both work and family life. Our babies are now all in school and are growing up so fast.”

On the father/daughter dance, Melissa says it was one of her favorite moments of the season and added, “It is really important for Joe and I to be there for special moments like these and to raise well-rounded, thoughtful and caring children. We are so proud of Antonia and the young woman she is becoming. I live for these moments.”

On Joe’s back and forth between being a supportive hubby and a grumbling Neanderthal, “On top of school starting, I am also navigating running my own business and working with a partner while managing our home, and as you can see Joe has been very vocal about his feelings. It truly is a double-edged sword. Joe is so supportive (he built Envy!), but he is also very traditional and set in his ways. He wants me to be successful and follow my passion for wanting to own my business yet gets frustrated when I am at the store instead of home cooking dinner, and honestly it has just been a HUGE change for all of us.  The first year of getting a business off the ground requires A LOT of time and that’s what was causing friction between Joe and I, because I couldn’t get everything done while the kids were in school and needed his help.”

She adds, “To Joe, family is everything and I absolutely love that about him. It is the core piece to leading a fulfilling and happy life, and I really have been feeling the pressure to do my best at both jobs. I have been a full-time mom and now with the kids away most of the day at school, I need to do something for myself that I can own and be proud of.”

Melissa and Joe are still trying to find a happy medium in the work/home balance, but she says their strong marriage will see them through. “Joe and I are still figuring out this new daily routine. At the end of the day, I just to want to feel the same sense of achievement he does. His resistance in accepting this new normal had just added to the confusion I had been feeling, which is what you saw on the last episode. I think what makes our marriage so strong is that we are able to communicate and listen to each other. I really heard him when he said he needed that family time again, which is why I think the dinner we had was such a healing moment in this episode.”

And if you’ve been thinking that so far things have been pretty boring on RHONJ, Melissa promises that is coming to an end. She concluded her blog with: “The rest of the season is going to be explosive.”

Big Brother 18 Spoilers: Dr. Will Kirby Says ‘Most Entertaining’ Jury Ever!

Every year, the Big Brother Jury members sit down for a roundtable discussion over the merits of the houseguests who may end up competing for their votes in the Final Two. Things sometimes get quited heated, and after what we recently saw happen in the Jury house between Paulie Calafiore, Da’Vonne Rogers, and Zakiyah Everette, we can’t wait to see how this year’s debate goes.

Dr. Will Kirby

Former Big Brother winner Dr. Will Kirby will be hosting this year’s Jury discussion, as he has done for the previous three years. According to Dr. Will, this season’s Jury is the “best, most opinionated, most entertaining” jury that he’s sat down with so far.

Well, after that whole throwdown in the Jury house with Paulie and Da’Vonne, it’s easy to see that tensions and emotions are running very high with the Jury members. However, the most “bitter” Jury members might not be who we think, according to Dr. Will.

“I will state that some that I expected to be bitter aren’t and others that I anticipated would be totally objective are very emotionally volatile,” Kirby said in an interview with Zap2It. “Unstable, you could argue.”

As for the whole Paulie, Zakiyah, Da’Vonne emotional drama, Dr. Will said he was not legally allowed to comment about that whole confrontation. However, he said he was “allowed to state that all precautions were made to ensure the safety of all jury members and everyone was allowed and encouraged to air their grievances.”

Dr. Will said the Jury is “confused, conflicted and tormented,” which, to him, is a great thing. “When a juror comes into this segment with a set opinion it shows lack of intelligence.” Instead, Kirby said, a really great juror is someone who has an open mind right up until the end.

Unfortunately, Dr. Will refused to predict a winner in his interview with Zap2It.com, saying that the “conspiracy theorists go bananas” whenever he did that, especially after he predicted Ian would win season 14 fairly early on. So now he just doesn’t feel like being swamped by “nerds” complaining to his Twitter account over him making any kind of prediction.
